British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is holding a Ukraine summit in London today with EU leaders, following two phone calls with President Trump.
According to the outline Starmer proposed on BBC News, following the disastrous Zelenskyy meeting in the White House, the British PM called President Trump and also Emmanuel Macron. According to his statements, Starmer told Trump he would work with Macron +2 unidentified countries (a “coalition of the willing”), to organize an EU security force for a Ukraine ceasefire; then the group will require Trump to provide a U.S. troop “backstop” as an insurance policy.
Starmer completely ignores the NATO provocations against Russia that preceded the military operation by Vladimir Putin, instead blaming only the aggression of Putin for the expansion of NATO in Europe. Interview Below:

Maybe for Starmer he feels this play has a “kill 2 birds with one stone”objective: Russia may annihilate the US with a nuclear bomb if we attack Russia and a full blown US/Russia war starts, & then the UK is set to swoop in and make tons of money off the remains of Ukraine, as the “100 year” deal he just did with Ukraine stipulates.
Whatever happened to the UN troops being used for peace making security purposes? Why do they keep trying to position NATO troops in Ukraine? IMHO, they should be talking about disarmament of Ukraine to negotiate in good faith with Putin to get him to pull out, not the opposite. There is no common sense to any of this. Thank God we have a President with a clear head who actually doesn’t want to start WW3. We need to support him wholeheartedly and condemn the greedy neocon war mongers who care NOTHING about human lives, as loudly as we can.
