British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is holding a Ukraine summit in London today with EU leaders, following two phone calls with President Trump.
According to the outline Starmer proposed on BBC News, following the disastrous Zelenskyy meeting in the White House, the British PM called President Trump and also Emmanuel Macron. According to his statements, Starmer told Trump he would work with Macron +2 unidentified countries (a “coalition of the willing”), to organize an EU security force for a Ukraine ceasefire; then the group will require Trump to provide a U.S. troop “backstop” as an insurance policy.
Starmer completely ignores the NATO provocations against Russia that preceded the military operation by Vladimir Putin, instead blaming only the aggression of Putin for the expansion of NATO in Europe. Interview Below:

However, a cursory review of the legacy literature (I don’t trust recent materials) has no mention of such minerals. However, RE minerals are a fairly new commodity, so that might explain no mention of them in older works, not to mention many have never been translated into English..
Given today’s version of The Truth, I can’t help but be suspicious of anything associated with Ukraine. I hope PDT has better sources than I do !

In the case of France a significant number were killed in one attack by Iskander missiles during a gathering of French special forces.

Article 5 of NATO requires NATO members to come to other members aid when they are attacked. If EU puts troops in Ukraine and they are attacked by Russia, Article 5 is tripped. THIS is why Starmer and Zelensky are confident they can count on U.S. military as a “backstop.”

BUT this legislation apparently has some weaknesses. The Constitution gives authority over foreign relations to the president. So President Trump may simply ignore the law. AND it is unknown whether Congress has standing to bring a lawsuit against President Trump if he ignores this law and withdraws from NATO anyway.

Interesting that Politico headline says to keep PDJT “sweet”. That is what Warren Jeffers commanded his many wives to do–“Keep Sweet”
Of coarse the warmongers, Stsrmer, Macron, Z, etc. MUST insist on perpetuating the “unprovoked” narrative; because thats neccesary in order to keep the Frozen Russian assets, and even to insist Russia pay MORE, as “restitution” for BEING the aggressor, according to “International law”.
To admit Russia was provoked, and that Ukraine and NATO were the aggressors, means they have to release those frozen assets, back to Russia, can NOT demand any reparations FROM Russia, and in all fairness really are responsible for paying reparations themselves.
And, this is the trap they have set for our President;
if he speaks the truth (as he pretty much did on at least one occasion, pointing out it was Joe and Z, stupidly talking of Nato membership for Ukraine, which provoked Putin) then the U.S. is one of the main ones on the hook for paying reparations.
On the other hand, KNOWING the truth, and negotiating in good faith with Putin, he can’t insist Putin pay reparations and lose the frozen assets, its just not fair.
And, the asshats that ARE responsible for this war, will NEVER admit they were the aggressors…
And finally, who adjudicates any International law disagreements? Traditionally, it is by ‘concensus of the International community’ that detirmines who is the aggressor,…which would be the very people lusting aftr the frozen Russian assets, i.e. Starmer, Macron, Zalenski, etc.
