The sad thing is that it is really true. I haven’t had TV for more than a decade and I suspect a significant number of people have ditched it as well. I watched the inauguration here on whatever channel Sundance linked. When I was a kid, TV was authoritative–the last word, in fact. I always hated that and am glad to see the demise. They haven’t quite cottoned to the idea yet, but they will.

Judging! Once again I see the total lack of our judgement on a people who are wrong. So wrong they destroy people, land, everything, because “judgement is wrong”. The system has been prepping us for a myriad of eventualities again for at least 110+ years but glaringly with technology getting out of hand since the modern Cinema. Also backed up via Operation Mockingbird controlled messaging to affect a result.
Again, I saw these as cautionary tales, like the (HAL 9000) in “2001 A Space Odyssey” “The Terminator (Skynet) War Games (WOPR), Star Trek The Ultimate Computer (M-5), “Dr. Stangelove” (Doomsday Computer) The Day the Earth Stood Still (GORT) or even the Alien movies to Prometheus where “Synthetics” go rouge. Even for the kids The Jetson’s, Popular Mechanics said we’d be in flying cars by now etc.
These types of fantastical stories have been with us since the dawning of time, The Epic of Gilgamesh, Iliad and the Odyssey, Jules Verne, HG Wells, A Brave New World. Much of this is in our DNA, to explore always onward and upward, it’s inevitable.
That’s where we get to Stargate. The AI venture announced by President Trump with Larry Ellison et al, is inevitable. If we aren’t the leader someone else will.
AI has lots of problems and makes lots of mistakes. My wife and I own a business for 35 years and in March of 2020 along with the Wuhan Con many of the companies announced they have replaced our service with AI. Our product requires a 99% + accuracy rate, AI delivers at around 85% to 90%.
I heard more than once, “Stan can you do it for free?” sadly, many of those same people also have been replaced and lost their work to H1B or by attrition, shipping their jobs to India.
We’ve held on, by the Grace of God and some of the companies are slowly coming back. They are even having us sign testation’s that we do not use AI, all humans made in America.

Though I know directly about the insidious nature of AI in the hands of evil and its intent to replace human beings’ thinning the herd you and I, cloistering us up in 15-minute cities giving us their planned dystopia.
I’m suspicious of anything that comes out of Silicon Valley and their DARPA (taxpayer) created Billionaires. But, we either get hold to this (AI) and attempt to use it for good or the converse will be the result. AI does mundane tasks well, diagnosing disease and developing personal MRNa vaccines, no thanks.
I trust President Trump and believe he knows the same things that we know and will be cautious as he attempts to harness this technology and use it for the betterment of mankind as opposed to our demise.
Please Lord, give President Trump guidance as he restores our Republic for the American People, give him the tools and the wisdom to lead the way.

For years, I thought Youtube CC was done by low paid ESL (English as a second language) hires, or people without a high school diploma, drug addicts or was intentionally bad to mock Conservatives.
Don’t know why, but CSPAN CC is a lot better than Youtube CC.

So many believe that AI is exact in all cases, it is not. It can replicate the Mona Lisa but it can’t create it.
But if an insurance company needs to search and collate through a million claims looking for a certain word, number etc. it’s remarkable. But it can only work from what’s available to the computer.

AI can almost replicate almost any thing. The failure is the problem. IBM took out an advertisement saying their AI (Deep Blue?) was 90% accurate. The wrong answer has a crazy cost curve because it’s effects are like a fungal infection with consequences everywhere.
A mutual fund company had $140k (1994 $s) in backdating costs for applications that couldn’t be processed when received. The problem was wrong information over the phones when people were calling. Asking “5 Whys” gained an understanding of the problem over 6 months.
What originally looked like it needed more CS reps and processing ability came to have pretty big cost savings.
AI is targeting 95% accurate responses to be considered equal to people. 95% of the Mona Lisa is a nondescript painting on a board.

Inevitable until it isn’t. Seems there’s a problem in resolving reality.
95% accurate AI is very different than different people having a 95% accuracy. Different people have different perspectives and focus. Many eyes looking at a situation deepens the resolution and produces answers that don’t occur on first blush.
AI is monocular. It has one view and is incapable of looking at a situation from a different perspective. Possibly multiple AIs can provide perspective but how? Bigger data sets just get a potentially bigger but not better answer.
All the hoopla and valuation is based on what AI can do, just over the hill. Where has AI fulfilled its “potential” in the field. I know of a number of situations that the attempts to roll it out aren’t going very well.
One hotel is attempting to run accounting through AI and has created an incredible additional workload for real people in rebalancing GL accounts because of random unexplained entries. Accounts aren’t balancing and GMs of locations are quitting because their bonus income is affected.
If you have to verify AI is doing the work correctly you are doubling the work!

From a tech standpoint as well as political standpoint we are in for interesting times. How is this different than the left’s green energy with no infrastructure to support it. We can’t even protect our current energy grids from foreign /domestic attacks. It’s out of the bottle and never going back in. The best course of action is to reduce your potential interaction where cameras would be. Live rurally as possible and only visit likely camera places as few as possible. Don’t live in a town with any buildings more than about 5-10 stories.

The contractor thing is often overlooked. If your business is led or owned by anyone other than a white man you get preference for contracts. It leads to choosing less qualified companies or a lot of times to companies that put up a non-white male figure head for contracts.

Of the list of pardons proffered on Biden’s last morning as pResident, only Fauci has indicated he may be smart enough to turn down the pardon by offering words that indicate acceptance. The rest have indicated verbally they appreciate the “protection” offered by the pardons – indicating a measure of accceptance.
That said – the Burdick opinion from SCOTUS (1915) ruled that 1) pardons cannot be forced upon the recipient – it must be voluntarily accepted; 2) accepting the pardon carries with it an admission of, and imputation of, guilt for the Federal crimes listed, with all the legal ramifications that admission/imputation carries; 3) there must be at least indictable Federal offences the defendant can be accused of, for the pardon to apply, and 4) the recipient loses all 5th Amendment protection for the Federal crimes covered by the pardon – they can be compelled to testify about these crimes, as the pardon’s imputation of guilt means they have already incriminated themselves. Further refusals to testify immediately brings a perjury or contempt of court crime – very much punishable.
Krashner cannot prosecute any State level charge of “trespass on the Capital grounds” (what a plurality of the J6 political prisoners were charged with) as neither the city of Philadelphia nor the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have any jurisdiction there.

It was s part of why he always seems to be two moves ahead, at least in retrospect.

Speaking of depopulation, I have had numerous conversations lately, with a wide variety of people, including a couple in the medical field, and everyone is noticing a significant increase of cardiac issues, mostly among women in their late 30s to early 50s, which is NOT typically a demographic that experiences heart problems! Most of the women are jabbed but a couple are not, although they contracted the virus, some more than once.

I’m just now getting up to speed on the problems at DOC in the District.
This is UNBELIEVABLE.
These defendants now have a civil rights suit against DC.
The pardon’s were dated yesterday – 1/20. Any lawful authority to keep a defendant in custody ended at 11:59 pm.
Beyond that it was an “unlawful seizure” in violation of the 4th Amendment.
Defendants are housed at DOC under a contract with the U.S. Marshal’s Service because there is not U.S. Govt holding facility in DC.
The U.S. Marshal for the District of Columbia is a Presidential Appointee, and the USMS is part of the Justice Department. So, what is apparently happening now is the Trump DOJ has directed the USMS to go into the DOC and physically remove those J6 defendants still being held.
If I was giving the instructions, I would have DOC officials removed in handcuffs and taken across the river to EDVA to be held pending a investigation into Sec. 242 violations.
As Sen. Lee posted yesterday — maybe it is time for Congress to revisit “Home Rule” in DC.
