Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

It is not for the easily offended. There is no profanity, only a difference of opinion at some points. But it does complement the ‘Pretending Awareness’ that SD has tried to foster in his audience.
His observations arrive from taking the long view of history and taking the MSM at face value and applying that to the present and infer what’s next. From these materials he has developed pretty excellent predictive skills, as demonstrated at the start, as he maintains a neutral ‘value-free’ stance.

Thomas Sowell called it years ago — the real issue is the unbelievably terrible public school system. He and the other blacks in Harlem got a good education in the public school system in NYC. He writes about running into an old buddy who had kept in touch with the others and caught up on retired orthodontists, retired doctors, lawyers etc. with a comment about how he was still working — as a university professor. The decline in public education post 1960s especially for black students is the crime of the century — and the whole affirmative action/DEI cover goes away.

Exactly, many people did gain from the public schools in America, and many people still are, and it was very recently that they have gone full on communist, but I still see people wanting to trash the whole system, a system that was very much a part of peak America.
Strong PUBLIC schools built strong, desirable communities.

THEY have already established, as a legal concept, that you don’t have to have clear signs of OVERT discrimination, that there can be a kind of systemic discrimination that can be proved by statistics; if a Universtity has far less minority students than the % of the population, that can be taken as a sign of systemic rascism.
Now, apply that to reverse rascism as caused by AA and DEI policies; if a University has far less White and Asian students than the population %, that is a sign of systemic discrimination, requiring remedial action,..
“Make them live by their own rules” its a path forward to a return to merit based recruitment.
Actually, in all likelyhood the cases will not go to trial, and will be resolved by consent decrees, the civil court version of plea deals…
Once the word gets out, legacy students and prospective employees will find the doors opened again.

Multiple officials within the Justice Department’s Executive Office for Immigration Review — the DOJ’s office that oversees immigration courts — have been removed from their positions, a source familiar with the matter told ABC News.
This moves are part of the new Trump administration’s overhaul of immigration policy and enforcement.
Among those removed, according to the source, were Mary Cheng, the acting director of EOIR since March 2024. Before that, Cheng served as EOIR deputy director.

At the time of her appointment, a Justice Department announcement said she would “manage the immigration court system” and “will make management decisions regarding staffing and budget and be the lead official overseeing the corps of immigration judges nationwide.”

And they are BITTER, and so if pressured they WILL turn on their co-conspirators, especially since there is no statute if linitations for an ongoing criminal conspiracy (which this cover up IS) and each affirmative act which furthers the goal of the consiracy can be a seperate criminal charge, which means they could easily be looking at 10-20 charges, with a sentence of 10 years each, effectively a life sentence.

WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden pardoned his brother James Biden and other relatives Monday for unspecified crimes, a similar last-minute move to protect his family from potential investigation as when he pardoned his son Hunter Biden for gun and tax convictions.
The five preemptive pardons were issued to James Biden, Joe’s younger brother; Sara Jones Biden, James’ wife; Valerie Biden Owens, Joe’s younger sister; John T. Owens’, Valerie’s husband; and Francis W. Biden, Joe’s younger brother.
While he was sitting in the Capitol Rotunda attending the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, Biden announced the preemptive pardons for his siblings and in-laws.
This comes after Biden issued a controversial pardon for his son, Hunter Biden, in early December over tax evasion and federal gun charges. Biden had repeatedly said he did not plan to pardon Hunter.

DTE Energy’s political action committee contributed more than $34,000 to Granholm’s 2006 gubernatorial campaign, according to state records. Then-DTE Energy CEO Stephen Ewing, whom Granholm appointed to serve on the state’s Early Childhood Investment Corporation Executive Committee, personally donated another $3,400 to Granholm’s campaign in 2004.
Consumers Energy’s political action committee gave Granholm’s gubernatorial campaign $25,000 in that same timespan, additional data show. And Brandon Hofmeister, the company’s current senior vice president of strategy, sustainability, and external affairs, served as Granholm’s energy and climate policy adviser and deputy legal counsel when she was governor.

The 14 individuals that Trump identified that he was commuting sentences for are those convicted or otherwise charged with engaging in the separate seditious conspiracies mounted by leaders of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers to thwart the lawful transfer of power on Jan. 6, 2021. They were among the more grave and high profile charges brought in connection with January 6.
Trump was expected to further direct the incoming attorney general to move to dismiss all pending indictments against Jan. 6 defendants who have not yet had their cases fully adjudicated, which would shutter roughly 470 ongoing cases, according to recently released numbers by the District of Columbia U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Keep in mind, the vast majority of these convictions were questionable at best, and EVERY one of the J6 crown was denied due process. Exculpatory “Brady” evidence was destroyed, and witheld from all of these defendants. That alone should overturn every singly one of these convictions.
Think of the Alec Baldwin manslaughter trial. There was evidence that was not disclosed. Frankly, pretty much a nothing burger, but the charges were dismissed due to the prosecution’s misdeads.
