I don’t know if such deep corruption is able to be fixed by one administration in one term. The breadth and depth of the pardons is the measure of the scale of American corruption. Disgusting.

A pardon doesn’t stop a congressional investigation where they cannot invoke the 5th, it doesn’t stop a DOJ investigation, charges, a trial, and ultimately a supreme court review of the pardon law.

What if Hunter murdered a girl five years ago? What if he committed high treason, resulting in the deaths of 1000’s? Can Milley be recalled to duty, and prosecuted under UCMJ? What future crimes can Milley commit, i.e. treason with the Red Chinese, and not be held accountable?
Well, if they accept the pardon, they concede guilt of the crime(s) for which they were pardoned. Let the civil lawsuits begin, for violation of individuals rights under the US Constitution, acting under color of authority. Joe’s pardon power doesn’t extend to civil suits.

Seems to me a poorly written description of possible offenses. What year was that attack? This appears to focus only on “investigating”. I’m not a lawyer but these people are all still subject to anything NOT related to the investigation. For example, if congress requires them to testify and they lie now about their past, it is not related to that ill defined attack on the capitol investigation. I would encourage the DOJ to investigate the crimes…and ignore any and all pardons of individuals. Let the courts decide if the pardons are legit or not.
