I understand what you are saying, there is actual on the ground logistics that are important that it supports. That doesn’t mean we can’t find a better way, with more safeguards, and less reliance on foreign actors to make it work.
As you say, when there is a need, something will fill it. That doesn’t mean there is only one solution. Right now there is a need to remove the foreign component from this. There is a solution. It won’t happen overnight- nothing does- but that doesn’t mean we can’t come up with a better way.

It is time for the US to cut the cord with Europe. Since WWII the US has been the guard over Europe providing military protection while Europe suckled on their socialist programs. In my opinion, the key to understanding Elon Musk is to accept the fact that he has no loyalty to any country and no worshipful allegiance to Almighty God.
He calls himself “Dark MAGA” but he’s not remotely loyal to America or her founding principles. He is “MERP”-Make Elon Rich and Powerful.
