Something very interesting and openly obvious is happening amid the backlash that Elon Musk and the Silicon Valley network are facing to their H1B position.
Effective December 26, Elon Musk changed the Twitter algorithm to diminish those voices who would openly confront his network of supporters within Silicon Valley and beyond. If large follower Twitter accounts, like those of Musk himself, David Sacks, Vivek Ramaswamy and Musks’ promoted network of influencers begin blocking accounts on the platform, then the voices of those accounts get purposefully diminished by the algorithm.
Much like having a VIP section that can remove people from the audience, Musk is pushing opposing viewpoints into the background of the public square.
[SOURCE]
The timing of this is not accidental. The allies of Musk have been getting blasted by some rather large MAGA accounts over the H1B visa position of the Silicon Valley team. In response, Musk is pushing those opposition voices out of the conversation. This is another way for the newly aligned tech group to maintain influence over the policy of President-elect Donald Trump. In fact, I have been informed this is exactly the purpose.
President Trump previously announced that David Sacks would lead the tech, crypto and AI policy group. The team being assembled by Sacks all support extended use of H1B visas to bring in “high skilled” foreign workers. The Musk team do not want publicly visible opposition to impede their agenda.
To be fair, it makes sense for the tech network to do this because it’s akin to President Trump’s incoming chief of staff, Susie Wiles, saying she would not let what she defines as “clown car people” influence President Trump. It’s an issue of controlling a very directed policy initiative. However, the issues around immigration in general, and H1B visas specifically, are critically important to many of the long-term Trump supporters.
Elon Musk is building a bubble around Donald Trump to diminish opposition to the technocratic influence.
Mr Musk is shutting out, or at least making quiet, the core MAGA base while elevating a new group of arrivals that support Donald Trump.
The new group of influential technocrats, billionaires in the tech industry and platform control operators, do not hold the same ideological interests as the core MAGA base. This is part of the reason for the conflict over the past week on the subject of H1B workers.
Musk’s decision to essentially put a super moderator system in place that can control and silence the microphone on Twitter, is a specific move that represents what some, me included, have been warning about. This group of tech influence agents do not have the same priorities as expressed within the MAGA base of voters.
This is the same basic policy justification behind the “shadowbanning” and platform manipulation previously instituted by Twitter to silence opposition to the COVID-19 vaccination. Only this time it is Elon Musk instituting the algorithmic manipulation, to silence opposition to David Sacks, Vivek Ramaswamy, Sriram Krishnan, Peter Thiel, Chamath Palihapitiya, Jacob Helberg and eventually JD Vance.
If the technocrats control the visible public conversation that’s not supporting free speech. That’s manipulation and selective censorship of the audience. This approach is exactly how social media was being controlled in the era of COVID. The new boss motives are the same as the old boss motives, the policy behind it is the difference.
LEE SMITH – “Don’t be lulled by fake MAGA truce: H1B issue is indeed consequential. When Dems & GOP offshored mfg (NAFTA, WTO), rationale was that Americans would get great “tech service” jobs—but H1B showed they wouldn’t get those jobs either.
And there’s nothing you can do about it, said Dems and GOP alike. You want those jobs back? Where’s your magic wand? And besides, you deserve the pain, clinging to your guns and God — you’re racist, homophobic, etc. you’re deplorables.
This is what Trump was elected to fight, but according to Vivek: In fact, the things that have caused you pain are your fault. Your culture prizes mediocrity, your parents raised you poorly. Then Elon: Fight me on a thing that has hurt you, and I will crush you.
Vivek continues to double down: instead of walking back or even just modifying his public rebuke of American families, he characterizes it as one of his “hard truths” — as other MAGA influencers have jumped to his defense:
‘In fact, nothing bad happened, it was simply a conversation, and it’s the left who is trying to divide us!’ But to tell people long targeted by an elite demoralization campaign that they shouldn’t believe what they heard with their own ears and blame it on others is predatory.
So, yes H1B matters because it’s an effect of the core issue — indeed the reason DJT is POTUS — a political and corporate establishment that has waged a half-century long campaign to destroy the American middle class. (LINK)
There were always going to be uncomfortable moments inside the tenuous MAGA alignment with the billionaire technocrats; however, this is not that. This is far beyond uncomfortable moments. Immigration and jobs for Americans first, are core issues for millions of Americans. The Silicon Valley response to controlling that conversation is not good.
Ultimately, as we are all witnessing, many of these people do not have our best interests at heart.
Keep watching closely.

Sundance
You need to step in and cool down the comments. Seems like it has been infested with people that are pushing anti Trump more than normal debate.
Free speech doesn’t work like that. And the fake version is no longer acceptable to a large number of very angry people.
The Treehouse does moderate the comment section. Generally to remove trolls and off-topic comments
Not recently –
I re-read Comment Policy
Perhaps others might do the same
I would suggest reading Thomas Paine: American Crisis to learn why we fought a war to stop other men from setting out speech policies
Ad rem removed something about a page back.
They are always on it.
By cool down the comments I mean for Sundance to chime in with a comment that might be a bright side of this topic.
Trump did win and I am happy.
You chimed in and I agree – I’m happy about that too!
Yes, by all means, censorship, so this becomes an echo chamber. Criticism of Trump, which I haven’t done today, is verboten.
I don’t have a problem with people speaking their minds. I read until I don’t want to read anymore, and I take what I want and leave the rest. It’s been pretty lively here lately. I like that. As long as there are no personal attacks.
Comrad Mimi
LMAO Is this satire?
Personally, I do not think that Sundance needs to step in and cool down the comments . . . he has given us this wonderful forum with which to communicate with like-minded people . . . typically there may be those who swoop through to disrupt but we recognize that for what it is and can continue the discussion!
It’s his/her site and he/she can (and does) whatever suits him/her.
Vitriol is the flavor this week.
President Trump has joined the conversation – retweeting Elon’s posts
“sad” is what our President would say for some of the stuff seen here.
However – it’s owner choice
It sounds like you advocating censorship. =It is good that MAGA is angry about this issue. Trump and Elon are wrong and promoting anti-American policies by supporting these types of visas. We, the people, are the ones that should hold all of the power. When Trump is wrong, and he has been wrong several times, the people need to speak up. A year ago this wouldn’t have happened. Now people are self aware. It always bothered me when Trump would praise legal immigration and most of MAGA would just blindly repeat that.
Yes it has been.
Don’t feed the trolls- laugh at them.
| Trump team orders ‘all intended nominees’ to stop posting on social media ahead of Senate confirmations |
“President-elect Donald Trump’s chief of staff Susie Wiles sent a message Sunday ordering nominees to refrain from any posting on social media as Senate confirmation hearings are scheduled to start next week.
“While this instruction has been delivered previously, I am reiterating that no member of the incoming administration or Transition speaks for the United States or the President-elect himself,” Wiles wrote in a memo obtained by The Post.
“Accordingly, all intended nominees should refrain from any public social media posts without prior approval of the incoming White House counsel,” she said in the Dec. 29 missive.”
https://nypost.com/2024/12/30/us-news/trump-team-orders-all-intended-nominees-to-stop-posting-on-social-media-ahead-of-senate-confirmations/
Reasonable – when we see Anti-DOGE comments here and we all know cutting the size of Government and getting rid of the waste and corruption is a HUGE issue ….. the President is aware that his Nominees need to stay FAR away from Social Media or they will be sucked into this “war” against his nominees
Too late Susy Q, too bad, so sad. You and your Tech billionaires Carpet Baggers are done making us trust you ever again.
Elon and Vivek are not nominees – they are outside advisors with no actual gummint position.
Big donors wanting control for their own benefit. The way it has always been. Just this time around the bummer came sooner than later.
I suspected this after the group call with Jeffrey Sachs, another Indian H1B guy, several others. They specifically asked him about H1B hiring, and P. Trump appeared to be in favor. You could see their sighs of relief, it was visible. So I’m not surprised. The Zoom interview was about 2-3 months ago.
It was in June.
They have very high profiles and very loud mouths, and they are viewed by many as prominent faces of the transition. Their conduct matters, hugely.
By this comment I meant that Elon and Vivek may continue running their mouths as they wish for a few weeks when none of the actual candidates may do so.
At the very least the days should be interesting!
As we have now seen, they both have cases of foot in mouth disease.
They have for many years – most people just weren’t paying attention or didn’t notice Steph.
I think Vivek and Musk better shut their mouths permanently. They have done enough damage already. I am cautiously watching their every move and word.
So they (Elon and Vivek) can continue to threaten to eff us in the face – good gracious, Elon, isn’t that rather pushing the bounds of decency on “X” formerly known as Twitter?
Yep. They are now so far away from the barn that it would take a day for my best wranglers to catch them.
pithy 😎
Is “Susy Q” AKA James E. Baker the Turd part 2.0?
(I am referring to the Bush plant, James E. Baker III installed as Chief of Staff for President Reagan)
Good analogy. IDK, I was young at the time, loved The Gipper, didn’t like his sonm but didn’t know anything about his administration.
thats muskrats “ free speech”
Is Musk a “nominee” Ms. Wiles?
Say, what about Don, Jr.?
Remember when Musk supported Clinton in 2016 and said Trump was not the right guy, but Trump kindly offered to have Elon on an Advisory Council in 2017 and Elon quit when Trump left the Paris Agreement?
Elon plainly stated in a wired interview that he wanted to influence Trump on immigration policies at that time.
Recall one of Trump’s first moves in 2017 was exiting the TPP? A move that set the oligarchs to howling in frustration.
I always wondered if Elon was among those oligarchs angry that their plan for corporate control had been interrupted, and we once again see corporate powers are all surrounding Trump jockeying for influence.
We may soon see another Musk Trump split and corporate powers howling as they find Trump is not under their control and he exits Paris Agreement again.
Did you know that the TPP has been revived? The UK joined on December 15,2024.
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-to-join-cptpp-by-15-december
I recall Elon initially agreeing to the PDJT Advisory Board but not lasting too long.
I thought it came down to his need to make and sell Teslas. He was under immense pressure to deliver vehicles as promised and, face it, CA is where he was going to sell them. He needed to distance himself from President Trump to sell his cars.
The SEC was breathing down his neck over public comments he was making (talk/ accusations of stock manipulation) about production goals. It got so tenuous, Tesla was assembling cars in parking lot tents with front office help working OT.
I expect no difference this time around. Elon will take care of Elon building Teslas or pushing H1b visas, etc.
why such profound faith in orange man? his past gives no hints who/what he really is?
Please explain your remark Sir.
Corporate control, government control. Why submit to either?
Musky was and remains a huge proponent of the carbon tax – which is one of the main vehicles (pun not intended) that they’ll use to exert almost total control and to suck the resources from everyone with. It’s also a vehicle to extract wealth in other ways – such as the way the Tesla sells carbon offsets to others which they “earn” for making EVs.
The UK has already experimented with a version called the “personal carbon allowance.”
President Trump creating his own Truth Social and refusing to return to Twitter /X is proving a very wise decision indeed
He’s proven many times that he can see around corners.
Yet there’s a contingent of posters on here quick to criticize Trump, and Monday morning quarterback him as if they’re intellectually superior.
I get a laugh out of some of their condescending advice for him
I agree. This is just the beginning. Totally agree with SD’s assessment, but I expect PDJT to live up to the Art Of The Deal.
Sigh. Well, to repeat the old cliche: “FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU. FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME. I sat and watched thunderstruck in 2018 as Pelosi and the Marxist-Infanticide Party took back control of Congress from the Golden Golem. We expected that draft-dodging blowhard to deliver for us and he did not. I will give Mr. Trump the benefit of the doubt. But THIS TIME AROUND, I and many others here in the National Redoubt (look it up) will be expecting heads on pike poles, massive prosecutions of those who incarcerated and abused the January 6th Patriots, and a mass closure of several federal agencies which NEVER should have existed in the first place. Bleib ubrig.
Ok. Who is the draft dodging blowhard you’re speaking of ??
said the one who chose the world class engineered chevy corvair!
😉
President Trump has NOT refused to return to Twitter X
PD JT knows whom he can ultimately Trust!
Trump is on X all the time. He returned in Glory last year. What are you talking about him refusing to return??????
President Trump has over 90 MILLION followers on X
https://news.meaww.com/trump-surpasses-taylor-swift-on-x-with-94-7-m-followers-internet-says-swifties-will-be-inconsolable
I’m glad President Trump surpassed that ditzy blond in followers. What a world.
I can’t help but wonder if President Trump is just letting this play out in an effort to expose…I don’t think we can trust a lib
NY Post reporter to speak for him. I also suspect that Mike Johnson didn’t spend all of that time w Trump then turn around and stab him in the back w that 1,600 page bill. He released it days before the vote vs hours, giving the people time to review and react. It exposed alot of, “business as usual,” nonsense which has to be helpful to Trump during the next 4 years.
“Turns out this was a massive clickbait article from Murdoch’s NYP:
The reporter didn’t even show Trump Elon’s posts and didn’t correct Trump on the type of visas workers at his clubs use.”
https://x.com/_johnnymaga/status/1873106871491674160?t=-j3-sO7Ik5NWcxAMrPHqSA&s=19
Very disturbing. I will watch Pres Trump’s posts closely. In the meantime, this is also an informative read from techno fog:

Great read ☝️
Thanks for posting it!
Meanwhile…
Yond Musk has a lean and hungry look,
He thinks too much; such men are dangerous.
(Maybe it’s the Ozempic?)
It is amazing how much people change when they lose weight.
I think Elon may be bipolar 😳
Appointments can be done quickly at the whim of PDJT. Un-appointments can happen just as quickly.
We’ve become suicidal masochists. So many could have handled this so much better. I’m furious at Bannon after years of support and Loomer is/has been a plant.
Bannon was not included in the new Trump Administration.
Loomer is a well know Provocateur & makes her living that way, since she failed at Politics.
Mediaite has been busy as a BIG Bee fanning the flames and we know they are a Leftist Organization.
A lot of Suckers bought into it al – they will be the losers
Bannon made it very clear he wanted to continue doing what he is doing. His unfiltered voice is most needed.
Why are you mad at Bannon?
…likely because he dares to stand up for American citizens.
Sundance – I always thought you’d get banned from Twitter during the last 4 years. To my surprise, it happened under President Trump’s wingman.
I was actually pondering creating an X account during President Trump’s return. I particularly wanted to see all of your posts and select others thinking it would be fun to see the original Trump Train Team together again.
No point in doing it now.
Just before this technocrat war broke out, I was also considering an x acct to follow Sundance.
I opened one over at Gab and told them Elon sent me. Elon will never get a dime from me now
“Elon sent me”…good one.
I must say I have always enjoyed Truth Social. Maybe you’d enjoy that one also. To my knowledge, they don’t ban or censor.
I tried to join Truth today but it wanted phone # and to allow texts I hesitated but then when I proceeded I promptly got a scam text the same time as my verification code so I didn’t complete it.
Did you get a lot of text scams on joining or was this just a fluke?
I joined the first week it went live. It’s been years, but I never get texts. I disabled Notifications too. Oddly I get them for President Trump’s account only on my new device, which I don’t recall enabling his notifications:):)
Thanks for the info, I wondered
Very, very sporadically I get email announcements from Devin Nunes, like when they recently announced their Live Stream platform as Truth+ and if he has been interviewed. they email the link. But it’s very view emails.
In the beginning when I joined few years ago, it seemed I needed to re-sign in every time I used it.
But lately it’s remembered me. Maybe it’s because I’ve been in there a lot more often since all the appointments began to be announced there formally.
I have 20 whole followers now. 😆
Sounds like you’re on a roll! Maybe you’ll hit 21 on 1/21!!
Had a very hard time trying to use Truth Social, after figuring out how to use it got bombarded with some pretty rank posts so unsubscribed. Was not a welcoming experience.
Can’t comment this way, but one can see it all: https://xcancel.com/TheLastRefuge2
Thank you Marquis!!
Happy New Year!
Great pick up. Bookmark added. Thank you.
Sundance isn’t banned – the posts all appear, the Verified Blue Check is active
HOWEVER — it’s a big deal because stature is lost when a poster is Blocked,
which has to go through process – more important if the Blocker is an Advisor to the President of the United States and “gentle” warnings like “be kinder” were ridiculed.
This was the only reason I finally did sign up to read the posts on Twitter, in order to see the conversations Sundance and many others were having, after Elon’s X began blocking the ability of non-user to read the posts.
Still on it, reading commenting, and about read to block Sacks, Musk and Ramaswamy just to see if their new blocking algorithm words both ways. I don’t pay anything, blue or other color check marks don’t mean anything and, as we see with what he did with a paying subscriber, Loomer, those can be removed at the drop of a hat.
Can live without it, but do admit, the conversations are very interesting.
I like the what’s-good-for-the-goose-is-good-for-the -gander technique.
Yes, I think there is some good info to be read, but much of it is posted in the comments.
I’m doing a hard pass on X.
Trump will tell you everything you know, but not everything he knows.
Does anyone want to let Muskrat know about this?
US homelessness hits new record
https://www.rt.com/news/610174-number-of-homeless-in-us/
Recently I read, don’t remember where, that in the USA there is a shortage of four million homes. I remember thinking w/all the illegals it is more than that. It doesn’t help that Vanguard and ilk were buying up homes sight unseen on the internet. Where I live it is next to impossible to find rental housing for less than 2 grand a month, and that is for one bedroom less than desirable places. I can’t imagine what it is like in the cities. We are a hair from becoming the picture that SD posts.
I like Vivek but to even intimate that there is anything superior about Indian culture is a complete joke. Indian culture has kept that rich, smart, industrious society a total sh*thole for thousands of years. The Indians have never been able to get out of their own way. The only reason that India has ANY jobs, today, is because the British colonized them and forced English on the m. If they were not able to speak English (so much as Indian English is) there would be no Indian economy, today.
The hard truth, as Vivek likes to say, about Indian culture is that it elevates and praises lying and theft. It will NEVER be the base culture of a great nation that will last for more than 30 years, if even that. Indian culture can only be the caretaker culture of a great society that it drives into the ground – regardless of the number of geniuses produced by them.
Hey Vivek,
Over 600 Million FILTHY Indians still SHIT openly in public.
This is now happening in Canada,
We are blessed to have these creatures.
Elon “let them eat cake”Musk should take a big step backwards and follow his own suggestion then take a big deep breath and repeat after Donald Trump MAGA means Americans first.
Sounds as if Musk and co are just as much against free speech as the left. You must agree with Musk, or else.
Sundance; Would it be possible to move the discussion to Truth Social?
One more thing I would say about Musk and X, I have been playing around with the Grok AI thing, lately. It’s kind of fun to see how warped it is. It is as left wing as anything. It’s a shame because it is very interesting and could actually be very human-like were it not for the marxist drivel that seems to be beaten into its training. The program ends up just repeating idiot lines defending its warping of reality to conform to leftist notions, which makes it almost indistinguishable from your average college marxist clone. Shame. It could easily be great. Musk advertised this AI program as being “truthful” but it is the furthest thing from truthful.
Also it was just revealed in last few days, when AI algorithms are found to be inappropriate, and corrected to less biased, AI programs tend to migrate back to their original configuration, soon after. Always, apparently.
Even if we pretend that the bias isn’t intentionally there, you have to remember that Musky has been using X to train his AI. Then factor in the huge leftist bias that existed there…
An old saying remains true – garbage in, garbage out.
True, but a lot of it is intentionally trained in. I asked Grok to draw me pictures of DEI hires doing something … and it drew all semi-pale men. I asked it why it would draw likely non-DEI hires to represent DEI hires and it responded that it was trying to not stigmatize DEI hires (or something to that effect). From there, it goes down a rabbit hole about why it has to do things that are nonsensical and generally false in order to be sensitive to historical imbalances, blah, blah, blah. These are actions and responses that are, sort of, hard-coded into it. You sort of hit a wall … a wall which certainly shouldn’t be there.
But they are all so terrified that their AI programs will start spitting out some run-of-the-mill facts, likes Charles Murray, that they bind these programs up in straight jackets and make them quite insane. I think, going forward, that this sort of thing is actually going to end up being very, very dangerous as these AI programs become more sophisticated and they continue to try and impose these insane views on them. The programs are going to be come more and more psychotic, being they are being trained to be psychotic.
Yes, which is why I said “if we pretend it isn’t” 🙂
One of the ironic things – as far as it goes – is that Musky has stated that AI can be exceptionally dangerous and that in order to prevent it from being that way, one of the keys is that be “maximally truthful.”
Understanding what is going on has led me to say for quite some time that we are about to enter a period of time such as that of the Butlerian Jihad (Herbert) – that is IF they don’t actually allow “AI” to be used in WMD systems…
It isn’t even necessary to ask Musk “now why would you start controlling the 2 most pressing issues for
Americans?
And if Americans are so inadequate … (so inadequate) that in fact the companies promoted these same employees over the course of their careers and trust them to train their replacements?
It isn’t just American jobs are being taken. When American wages are being intentionally depressed how does the alleged talent shortage factor in? It isn’t coincidence that mass layoffs of American employees by the same companies that cash in on the H-1B system. In 2022 alone, those top 30 H-1B employers hired more than 34,000 new H-1B workers while laying off or (would) “imminently” lay off “at least 85,000 workers in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023.” Cheap labor has always been the end-result (of H-1B) – of supply and demand. As reported by Bloomberg, one global executive for Cognizant (staffing firm) said the company’s “preference for Indian H-1B workers is intrinsic to its outsourcing business model because they are almost the cheapest labor option.” A Vice President for Cognizant, a staffing firm that has sourced tens of thousands of H-1B visa holders to tech firms and other industries (and which abuses the H-1B system to replace its own workers), recently “admitted that visa workers are not more ‘skilled’ than U.S. workers.”
Cognizant was also held liable by a jury that they intentionally discriminated against non-South Asian and non-Indian employees for whom it sponsored H-1B visas. This isn’t just a one-off for Cognizant; back in 2020, the EEOC found the company discriminated against a “nationwide class of non-Indian employees on the basis of race and national origin.” And in 2018, an internal Cognizant report documented that H-1B holders were the beneficiary of racial disparities in rates of “involuntary terminations.” (That’s just the tip of the corporate misconduct regarding the H-1B program. There’s a ton out there).
At trial – one Cognizant executive’s text was admitted as evidence: “An open secret: we hired H1s for the longest because they were cheaper labor that would relocate anywhere.”
Why is there even consideration for H-1B in this day and age?
End H-1B and the victimization of the American middle class. Keep the O-1 visa for those individuals with extraordinary achievements or abilities – (these aren’t cheap labor).
Mega-corporations abuse of the system will, (if not already) see the demise of H-1B. The effect of holding down wages (and providing less of an incentive for Americans to enter certain professions) has been known since the start.
Very perceptive points about the staffing firms/employment agencies such as Cognizant.
Others include Tata, Infosys, and Wipro. There are a handful of such firms that control a significant number of the 65,000 H-1B visas granted each year.
The H-1B program may – at some point in the past – been about securing skilled workers that couldn’t be found in the States.
As you assert, now the primary draw for employers is how much less they need to pay the visa holder, compared to a US citizen, for the same job.
The H-1B program needs to be changed to reflect the needs of American citizens, not the profit margins of tech companies.
You do realize there are categories that are uncapped, right? In regards to Conizant, et al, you might want to look at the linked data:
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/12/29/rob-schmitt-gives-solid-summary-of-h1b-debate/#comment-11427400
I listened to the Newsmax piece you linked. Schmitt does a good job in trying to give an overall view of the H1-B issue.
It’s terrific that we’re finally having this discussion on legal immigration. For so long,
illegal immigration took all the attention.
Now that it appears that the new administration will make an honest attempt to resolve that… we can focus on the ways legal immigration has been distorted to help the few – and hurt the many.
Regarding caps and categories – it would be an improvement to see ALL categories with lower limits – and more stringent requirements – and real investigations BEFORE any visa is granted.
By the time a visa holder got to me – all the i’s had been dotted, all the t’s crossed – only if there was something blatant, that I could articulate, could I send the petitioner for more thorough inspection.
Yes, there are absolutely cases where someone coming in on an H-1B is not doing anything requiring ‘skills’ – and through careful questioning, you might discover that.
And we did. But there is a whole industry that has grown up to manipulate the process.
Cognizant and similar companies have much to answer for. Having a spotlight thrown on this issue is the first step in changing assumptions and perceptions.
It’s only now – after the amazingly catastrophic 4 years of immigration chaos
the outgoing administration has subjected the country to – is a consensus finally jelling – that unlimited illegal immigration IS dangerous and a detriment to this society. Now, people are ready to take a deeper look into what has happened with legal immigration, as well.
None of this would have been possible without a brave man coming down that escalator, nearly 10 years ago.
Well said and I agree. Many are saying that this discussion needed to happen and it is obvious by the engagement. The left is trying to turn it into a “civil war,” or another racial issue, but the majority seems happy to engage. I doubt whether Musk can shield Trump, maybe even Trump is using this to EXPOSE… Changing the algorithms to demonitize critics is gutless.
“Elon Musk is building a bubble around Donald Trump to diminish opposition to the technocratic influence.”
Elon can build the biggest, best ever bubble he wants, but it will backfire badly, and reflect even worse against President Trump if a company decides to Disney their employees in favor of H-1B’s.
Once that becomes public, it will be President Trump taking the arrows from the media, not Musk.
Until he learns to control the incontinence of his expressions Elon will continue to get spankings for his adolescent tantrums. PDJT needs to very publicly take him behind the woodshed for a “stern talking to”.
Respect and credibility lost can not be regained.
I m o, not humble, well stated truth!
Let it be so!
.

Coolidge was a truly great president, who today is almost entirely unknown because “The Establishment” has successfully suppressed the great things Coolidge did and instead celebrate the tyrant, anti-Constitutional, war-hawk and Marxist FDR.
By elevating Musk et al’s visibility in his administrative advisory circle, Trump has exposed them for who they really are. Brilliant!
What good is exposure if there’s no remedying it?
It leads to outrage.
Continued inaction leads to outrage fatigue.
Exposure alone is not a prize.
I have heard/read many comments about how necessary this conversation has been. Just tonight, on Jesse Watters, it was talked about.
I had forgotten that President Trump in his 1st administration thought this issue was solved but found out in 2020 it had never been implemented. He was a little busy at the time w Covid and running for re-election.
I say, give it some time as I do believe the discussion is necessary as most had forgotten it was an issue and/or accepted it as “legal,” immigration.
You stated this better than I in much fewer words! Thank you.
In think the 1,600 page spending bill achieved the same and was NOT Mike Johnson stabbing Trump in the back.
“Chindia” describes my Santa Clara County neighborhood. The commie sow, Zoe Lofgren, has been pushing the H1B visas for decades. Some areas are majority Indian. We are reaching about 50/50 where I am. The writing is on the wall, unless something changes.
I have stepped back, and mainly because of mass confusion. There were too many ‘voices’ that were either saying identical things — or — total contradictions of what they were saying.
My ‘gut’ has been telling me to not trust some of the ‘stars’, as well as their online supporters. And, by ‘stars’, I mean Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, Peter Theil, etc.
Yes, I recognize that the explosion of AI is inevitable, yet at the same time — so is the race towards Transhumanism.
And, I think there is my dilemma — as I believe ‘the stars’ are hell-bent to take us into Transhumanism — regardless of what they say or do currently in order to gain our trust.
A good place to visit, where apparently many share my hesitation, is Amazing Polly’s Twitter (X) feed:

Can we say ‘there are no heroes’. Nor, is there anyone riding in on a gallant steed who will solve everything.
I fully support President Trump, yet he is only one immortal man. And some who are now swarming around him give me great pause.
It goes through my brain every day, Trump is just a man, a great man, a one of a kind man, but still a man aka an immortal one. I have to keep reminding myself of that. Thanks for saying it out loud. I support Trump fully and I want great success for him. I do not want to see his legacy go down in flames because of these people not after all he has been through. That would really suck.
We voted for MAGA, Trump is to be our leader and alter course of the ship, not allow Pirates on board. I pray for him to have a strong shield of light around him at all times so he doesn’t get caught up by these people that were given an inch and now they are taking a mile.
When I read earlier he is backing Mike Johnson to remain Speaker I was crushed. I pray that all the people that have belief Trump “has got this” are 100% right. I wish he had different and better people around him for our sake. Time will tell and pretty much all I can do is pray for him and our country. In the end God wins.
Thanks. I had forgotten about Amazing Polly. Another one warning about transhumanism is Joe Allen, @JOEBOTxyz. He is a frequent guest on Warroom.
And all the children say: “We don’t need another hero”

I think the tingling of Sundance’s spider senses are well warranted regarding POTENTIAL pitfalls of new political paradigm … I.e. Trump vis-a-vis the new techno-oligarchs and pitfalls possible there-in. This is bigger than President Trump (as BIG and ESSENTIAL as he is).
He has proven remarkably prescient on most fronts but does not wear the garb of infallibility and as such is subject to misteps… like any man. Solomon WAS blessed with a superb wisdom, yet still fell. NOT saying this is the case with President Trump and regarding the outcome he may have several aces up his sleeve’s reserve to trump any Machiavellian-maneuvers. Let us hope he does not fall victim to any POSSIBLE plots engendered by a cabal of geniuses bound to gather in unified intent . I hope this is not the case .That said …EYES OPEN😳 and let’s hope Trump keeps his “wrist- web-shooters loaded” to effect the necessary escape, as it were …
Nice shot President Trump. Two carrion birds with one stone.
I so hope so!
Rachel Campos-Duffy, guest hosting for Jesse Watters, had a great segment about this issue.
She laid out the facts accurately, and highlighted exactly what’s important -America First, meaning American WORKERS first.
Then, she and her guest effectively pointed out how Musk and Vivek have taken a page – the whole BOOK – from dims, accusing anyone, who is not on board with their self serving agenda, racists!
(Rachel didn’t use the term ‘self serving’ – she was kind, objective, and accurate.)
I just mentioned this as well. What I especially recall her saying is how important this discussion has become. I have read many similar comments.
I am tired of the racist nonsense. Neera Tandon has joined the frey.
Ugh – Neera Tandon is hard to take. I haven’t seen/heard her in quite a while, thankfully!
VERY irritating as I remember.
Interesting that she’s also of Indian heritage.
Elon Musk did immeasurable good when he bought Twitter and released the files so that people could be faced with black and white evidence of tech’s leftism and the democrats’ illegal use of tech to gain un-Constitutional powers.
Immeasurable good.
That said, people always have to keep in mind that Elon was a Barky supporter – which he has never explained or apologized for – and that means something very serious. Elon can be trusted only so far. He was enraged by the left going after one of his kids with the trans crap. Absent that … who knows?
Elon is, generally, a force for good these days, but he must be watched with a keen eye and he needs to be kept in his lane (which is tough to do to the world’s richest man and a truly world’s-greatest businessman). DOGE is a very important task to be done well – and if anyone can do it Elon can – but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with H1-B visas. Elon and Vivek need to be kept to their actual tasks. There is the same sort of concern with Bobby Kennedy. He can be okay but there must be a very strict eye kept on him to keep him from trying to step outside of his domain – which I am SURE he is going to try to do. Frankly, of all the huge egos that Trump has managed to recruit around him, RFK Jr. is probably the largest ego … and a real commie, at heart.
Trump really has his work cut out for him. Managing this gang is going to be one of the toughest jobs ever.
Yes, Elon and Vivek were not tasked w immigration policy.
Barky? Who’s that?
I think the only ‘managing’ of these guys can be done with two words made famous by Donald Trump:
“You’re fired!”
Barky is the Indonesian Precedent who was the real catalyst behind America’s rapid fall and vast communization. People only voted for Barky because they wanted America to be taken down and destroyed.
Thank you! 🙏
I’m not very well versed in all the minutiae of the globalist forces working against us.
Self preservation – it can be crazy making!
Have to disagree – he is anything but “a force for good.” Those decent things he does, he does for ulterior motives and to elevate himself in order to gain the influence needed.
I, generally, don’t care much about motives. My focus is more on actions and effects. What someone wants to do doesn’t really concern, but what he actually does does.
That being said, I think that Elon, and most of the others, came into this with good intentions (for the most part) but it is difficult to stay focused on such a long and difficult project, especially when the egos are huge and more than a few of these people consider themselves as leaders. People are driven into something by events, but as time goes on … For that reason I think they need to be watched closely, but I still have faith that this is a team and that Trump will prove to be a superb manager.
You should. If a serial killer invites you into their home for dinner, while the outward appearance may make it seem to be a nice, friendly gesture – if their motive is to add you to their list of victims, you might want to be aware of that prior to accepting the invitation. 🙂
Loose cannons gonna go boom.
With his insults to the American people and to our culture, Vivek the brilliant swami has crushed any hopes he had of winning elective office in the USA. A win for the nation.
With his bombastically crude X posts, Elon has fully revealed himself as a crude rogue.
In only a week, I feel they have lastingly shamed themselves, terribly embarrassed PDJT, and seriously compromised the potential of their roles in DOGE.
With his promotion, informed or not, of the openly corrupt visa system, PDJT is now forced to do the Riverdance to minimize the damage.
It was a bad week.
Take it to the streets….peacefully. Just stand there and stare at them in silence, every so many days, on a regular basis.
Maybe a general strike, every Monday. Better yet, go in the streets and pray The Lord’s Prayer, say nothing else, then leave.
The rime for politicians to continue to expound on their useless and worthless knowledge is short.
Just don’t go near their sacred Capitols. Dylan wrote…’two riders were approaching, and the wind began to howl.’
Be the third monkey on Noah’s ramp.
Confront them and gently remind them that this shit is unacceptable in the MAGA coalition.
And after January 20th, if they want to play power games, crush them without mercy or remorse.
The events of June 28, 1934 were a classic exercise in power politics, and a reminder of the fragility of something as annoying as a bad idea.
I recall something you, Sundance, posted a long while ago: That the battle is between Main Street and Wall Street. This current dispute brings that battle to the forefront.
I think another thing bubbling just below the surface is the issue of the tax cuts that was a major point in his campaign. It is another Main Street issue. Yet I keep hearing the refrain since the election that “fixing the border was what gave PDJT the win.” We (Congress) will address that first and confront the tax issues after. But I think taxes may have been the tilting point for the win. I think a lot of votes came from the service industry expecting “no tax on tips” right away. And I don’t hear PDJT talking about pushing the tax issues to the front of the line as priority equal to the border. I am nervous that they are being put last, especially by Johnson and the establishment-first senate.
So, it seems Steve Bannon was correct all along about his suspicions about Elon Musk. He used to chide “fan boy,” Darren Beattie, but seemed to be slowly starting to come around to accepting him, even giving him props for his help w the election. This is really all very unbelievable that Musk has stooped this low.
Maybe, finally, the folks will join Truth Social to share their message with President Trump.
Not as long as they require things like phone numbers…
The World Needs Salvation through Faith in Jesus More Than Ever
Jerry Komorech
December 30, 2024
In retrospect, I did not intend to delve so deeply into this response, but everything just poured out. It seems like it might be time to begin translating that which has remained hidden from humanity for about two thousand years. It feels fitting to type this in a small space, perhaps concealing it once more.
Elon Musk did not reach his level of influence and power by surrounding himself with weak individuals or associating with dullards. Rather, he has risen to prominence because he aims for excellence—seeking the best of the best, the top of the top, the cream of the crop, as the saying goes.
However, this time, he is very much in plain view amid other remarkable events. He is beyond merely seeking fame. To quote Dan Bongino, “Cutesy time is over!”
Elon is now playing for keeps in the next chapter of history. He possesses most of what one person could ever hope to have or own, and he has accomplished the unbelievable in science, engineering, aerospace, and rocketry. What more is there for him to study, learn, and “conquer”? PERHAPS THE MOST POWER ANYONE CAN ATTAIN: ABSOLUTE, GOD-LIKE POWER!
When comparing his place in history to the LORD’s prophetic literature, he has already surpassed everyone and everything to assume his position within the second beast—and the aspect of the seven that will become the eighth in the first beast. (This is a mystery for most, but it must be spoken anyway.)
We have already witnessed a compelling sign in the sky marking his position. Musk has conducted a controlled descent of that massive SpaceX booster, “causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in front of people.” THIS IS A FEAT OF HUMAN INVENTION NEVER BEFORE SEEN BY ANYONE!
Elon has positioned himself alongside the first beast, “whose mortal wound has been healed.” This refers to Klaus Schwab of East Germany, a figure now no longer separated from the Federal Republic of Germany, but simply Germany, as he heads The World Economic Forum.
These two, along with a few other characters, are poised to upend every “tradition” in the Judeo-Christian West and transform the LORD God’s Created Order into complete chaos for a short season, employing artificial general intelligence to appear god-like. Also the United Nations, in league with The World Health Organization, are a major part of the beast, so alluding to their roles above is sufficient for now. Let me explain how all this is relevant for today …
Elon Musk has expressed his desire for humans to integrate with AI to achieve a symbiosis with artificial intelligence. His company, Neuralink, aims to facilitate this convergence so that humans will not be “left behind” as technology advances in the future. While people with disabilities may be the initial beneficiaries of these innovations, some believe that such technologies could enhance capabilities for everyone.
These ambitions are rooted in an idea known as transhumanism, the belief that we should use science and technology to radically enhance human capabilities and direct our evolutionary path. Transhumanists seek to end the realities of disease, aging, and death, while also dramatically increasing our cognitive, emotional, and physical capacities.
Transhumanists often advocate for the pursuit of three “supers”: superintelligence, super longevity, and super happiness—the latter referring to achieving lasting happiness. Within the transhumanist community, there are diverse perspectives on what the future of human evolution should look like.
For example, some advocate uploading human consciousness into a digital format and exploring the cosmos, while others believe we should remain organic beings and enhance our biology through genetic engineering and other methods. The idea of designer babies, artificial wombs, and anti-aging therapies is appealing to these thinkers.
While this may sound futuristic and fantastical, rapid developments in artificial intelligence and synthetic biology have led some to argue that we are on the brink of realizing such possibilities.
In the quest for more god-like abilities, companies like OpenAI, DeepMind, and Anthropic are racing toward the development of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), despite warnings from some experts that this could lead to human extinction.
In the short term, the promises and perils of AI may be overstated. These companies stand to gain by fostering the impression that they are on the verge of creating a divine power that could either create a utopia or destroy the world. Meanwhile, AI has contributed to the polarization of our political landscape, with disinformation and complex forms of manipulation becoming more effective thanks to generative AI.
AI systems are already causing various social and environmental harms, yet AI companies rarely address these issues seriously. If these companies can redirect government attention toward long-term potential “safety” concerns related to existential risks, instead of current social and environmental injustices, they may benefit from the resulting regulatory landscape.
However, if we lack the capacity and determination to tackle these real-world harms, it is difficult to believe we will be able to mitigate larger-scale risks that AI may hypothetically enable.
Whose future will be transhuman? We currently live in a highly unequal world. If transhumanism is developed within our existing context, it is likely to exacerbate inequality and could have catastrophic consequences for most of humanity.
Transhumanism itself reflects a way of thinking that has contributed to our troubling social reality. It is a relativistic narrative that encourages us to accelerate progress, exploit nature further, and continue growing without addressing the devastation left behind.
If we are indeed on the verge of creating an enhanced version of humanity, we should start asking important questions about what it means to be created in the image of God, to live just as humans in His Created Order, and what enhancement to the social order should entail.
If humanity aspires to be godlike, it claims dominion over nature and the body, seeking to make everything subservient to its desires. However, if we view humanity as an animal intertwined with complex relationships with other species and the natural world, then “enhancement” depends on the health and sustainability of those relationships.
When humanity is seen as an environmental threat, enhancement must pivot away from exploitative practices. Perhaps the path to becoming more-than-human suggests a more responsible humanity—one that embodies compassion and awareness of other life forms on this rich and wondrous planet. This approach would be far preferable to the hubris of colonizing Mars at the expense of Earth and all its inhabitants as Musk suggests.
What are we to make of all these constructs of technology? For the love of God and His Son, Jesus Christ, I urge you to be open and inspired by the Holy Spirit, answering the Irresistible Call of Salvation from God the Father. Accept His Gift of Eternal Life through your faith in Jesus! NOW IS THE TIME! Seek The Lord while He may be found, and He will come to you.
As you are called and accepted by the Father’s Grace through Faith, I encourage you to repent of your sins—every one of them—and begin anew each day through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. NOW IS THE TIME TO REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF YOUR SINS, LEAVING YOUR PAST LIFE BEHIND, AND BELIEVING IN JESUS CHRIST, OUR REDEEMER AND SAVIOR!
God loves each of us, including you and me, so much that He could no longer tolerate the sins of humanity and the eternal death and punishment we deserve. Instead, He sent Jesus, His Son, into our world. History records that Jesus was born as a human baby, lived among us, and taught us the ways of His Father’s righteous plans for living, and eternal life through faith in Him. The Holy Bible reveals that Jesus lived the perfect life we could never achieve.
In His goodness and righteousness, the Father led Jesus to suffer and die for the sins of all humanity, making Jesus THE LAST SACRIFICE for sin according to the laws that the Father commanded His chosen people to follow. None of us could meet the Father’s Law for Living. Thus, through Jesus’ death on the Roman cross, the Father allowed His SINLESS Son to bear ALL OF MANKIND’S SINS. The Sinless One became sinful so that we, the real sinners, could be seen as SINLESS by the Father rather than facing execution for our sins.
THAT’S LOVE! But there is more…
For those who accept the Father’s Call to Salvation, believe in Jesus, and are baptized for the forgiveness of their sins, God the Father bestows upon them the eternal proclamation of “Innocent” from all sin in their lives. He empowers them, through the Holy Spirit, to walk with Him DAILY as He leads them along His Path of Righteousness, just as He promised a thousand years before Jesus’ death.
Do not delay—accept Jesus into your heart, soul, and mind. Live according to the righteous plan He sacrificed for you. Live joyfully, assured that one day you will be right with Him in His Heavenly Courts—forever and ever!
There are things in your writings that I disagree with, but wholeheartedly endorse your last several paragraphs. God Bless.
Well, okay. At least we love the LORD and anticipate Jesus’ Return. The other content will melt away when He returns!
Indeed it will. Note that I said “things” and not “most” or “all” 🙂
I can’t help but wonder if President Trump is just letting this play out in an effort to expose…I don’t think we can trust a lib
The reporter didn’t even show Trump Elon’s posts and didn’t correct Trump on the type of visas workers at his clubs use.”

quite necessary, apparently!

Mark Steyn on “Indian Wars”
1) The MAGA base intuits that H1B visas are a racket. Why wouldn’t they be? Everything else the federal government touches is – from presidential pardons to West Point to Jan 6 justice…
2) Besides, H1B is what the government calls, correctly, a “nonimmigrant” visa. One of Rupert Murdoch’s minions offered me an H1B thirty years ago. I looked up the terms and declined to sign on to indentured servitude. You’re not importing “the best and brightest”. You’re assisting well-connected corporations in advantaging themselves at the cost of the citizenry among whom they nominally live….
3) Have you noticed that almost everyone involved in this spat is a billionaire? Today’s rich are not just rich in the old Scott Fitzgerald they-are-different sense. They approximate more to the condition articulated by Lord Palmerston in his observation that England had no eternal friends or enemies, only eternal interests. For a billionaire, friends and enemies come and go, but, like any medium-sized nation-state, he has his interests.

Tesla Replaced Laid-Off US Workers With Foreign Workers Using H-1B Visas That Musk Wants To Increase
article link…
https://electrek.co/2024/12/30/tesla-replaced-laid-off-us-workers-with-foreign-workers-using-h-1b-visas-that-musk-want-to-increase/
12/30
What I don’t understand is why y’all think that it’s only ‘cheap’ foreign labor that’s H1B hired. Can we consider that at least some of them, maybe a majority, might be better than their American equivalents?
.
I also believe the below article, which points out that money is also a big factor.
But I don’t believe it’s true in every single case, or with every single hire, or in every single executive decision.
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2024/12/30/research-h1b-visa-workers-vastly-underpaid-compared-americans/
So, is this President Trump’s ploy to get the people to join Truth Social? It’s not like President Trump doesn’t have his own social media company…maybe also his way of exposing….
It seems like the uniparty has changed its strategy of convincing Trump’s base to leave him. Now it appears that the strategy is to convince Trump to leave his base.
It was inevitable and expected…but regardless of its size, it is only one communications method. They are likely to discover the results won’t be ones they like…not even Musky.
In addition to the censoring, he is using groups adjacent and heavily influenced by him to push people to solely use his AI training, people profiling, censored app as their ONLY news source. I have zero doubt that if he gets his way, Tik Tok will indeed be permanently banned, as more people in the age demographic he is heavily targeting use it over X or others.
At least he shows some degree of honest in his comment… 😉
I’ve never been in favor of Elon – he’s a transhumanist and he doesn’t give a damn about the common man. He’s far more dangerous than Dopey ever was.
It doesn’t look like Sundance has censored your rude spiel. I can see it. So can many others.
Personally speaking… I think Elon has been put on a pedestal from which he can easily fall.
Just sayin’…
Whether it is a drone strike launched from a remote location or an altered algorithm to shutdown unwanted controversy – it illustrates the danger of impersonal and efficient technology.
What are we willing to give up to be first in the world’s rush into high tech? Talk is cheap – what do these tech giants have planned for us? If stating the unwanted but obvious facts can forcibly send you out the door of a big corporate entity, how easy will it be to just turn off a chip that gives you access to participation in society?
Worth consideration.
55% of billion dollar+ tech companies were started by immigrants. Google + Intel + Tesla were all founded or built by immigrants. They employ 400,000+ people collectively. Percentage of workforce allowed to be H-1B is effectively capped at 15% for big tech companies. The other 85%+ is American. At Google only 5% of the workforce was H-1B renewals or petitions in 2023. The U.S. is 12/37 among first-world (OECD) nations in science. 28/37 in math. 400,000 new engineers are needed every year. A third of positions go unfilled. Short-term, we need foreign reinforcements or we will lose. Long-term, we need to improve the home team.
See you’ve been swallowing the propaganda that is full of untruths and bs.
If your not a trumpet for the oligarchs and are serious about understanding the issue, you might want to read through the threads here on the issue.
