Something very interesting and openly obvious is happening amid the backlash that Elon Musk and the Silicon Valley network are facing to their H1B position.
Effective December 26, Elon Musk changed the Twitter algorithm to diminish those voices who would openly confront his network of supporters within Silicon Valley and beyond. If large follower Twitter accounts, like those of Musk himself, David Sacks, Vivek Ramaswamy and Musks’ promoted network of influencers begin blocking accounts on the platform, then the voices of those accounts get purposefully diminished by the algorithm.
Much like having a VIP section that can remove people from the audience, Musk is pushing opposing viewpoints into the background of the public square.
[SOURCE]
The timing of this is not accidental. The allies of Musk have been getting blasted by some rather large MAGA accounts over the H1B visa position of the Silicon Valley team. In response, Musk is pushing those opposition voices out of the conversation. This is another way for the newly aligned tech group to maintain influence over the policy of President-elect Donald Trump. In fact, I have been informed this is exactly the purpose.
President Trump previously announced that David Sacks would lead the tech, crypto and AI policy group. The team being assembled by Sacks all support extended use of H1B visas to bring in “high skilled” foreign workers. The Musk team do not want publicly visible opposition to impede their agenda.
To be fair, it makes sense for the tech network to do this because it’s akin to President Trump’s incoming chief of staff, Susie Wiles, saying she would not let what she defines as “clown car people” influence President Trump. It’s an issue of controlling a very directed policy initiative. However, the issues around immigration in general, and H1B visas specifically, are critically important to many of the long-term Trump supporters.
Elon Musk is building a bubble around Donald Trump to diminish opposition to the technocratic influence.
Mr Musk is shutting out, or at least making quiet, the core MAGA base while elevating a new group of arrivals that support Donald Trump.
The new group of influential technocrats, billionaires in the tech industry and platform control operators, do not hold the same ideological interests as the core MAGA base. This is part of the reason for the conflict over the past week on the subject of H1B workers.
Musk’s decision to essentially put a super moderator system in place that can control and silence the microphone on Twitter, is a specific move that represents what some, me included, have been warning about. This group of tech influence agents do not have the same priorities as expressed within the MAGA base of voters.
This is the same basic policy justification behind the “shadowbanning” and platform manipulation previously instituted by Twitter to silence opposition to the COVID-19 vaccination. Only this time it is Elon Musk instituting the algorithmic manipulation, to silence opposition to David Sacks, Vivek Ramaswamy, Sriram Krishnan, Peter Thiel, Chamath Palihapitiya, Jacob Helberg and eventually JD Vance.
If the technocrats control the visible public conversation that’s not supporting free speech. That’s manipulation and selective censorship of the audience. This approach is exactly how social media was being controlled in the era of COVID. The new boss motives are the same as the old boss motives, the policy behind it is the difference.
LEE SMITH – “Don’t be lulled by fake MAGA truce: H1B issue is indeed consequential. When Dems & GOP offshored mfg (NAFTA, WTO), rationale was that Americans would get great “tech service” jobs—but H1B showed they wouldn’t get those jobs either.
And there’s nothing you can do about it, said Dems and GOP alike. You want those jobs back? Where’s your magic wand? And besides, you deserve the pain, clinging to your guns and God — you’re racist, homophobic, etc. you’re deplorables.
This is what Trump was elected to fight, but according to Vivek: In fact, the things that have caused you pain are your fault. Your culture prizes mediocrity, your parents raised you poorly. Then Elon: Fight me on a thing that has hurt you, and I will crush you.
Vivek continues to double down: instead of walking back or even just modifying his public rebuke of American families, he characterizes it as one of his “hard truths” — as other MAGA influencers have jumped to his defense:
‘In fact, nothing bad happened, it was simply a conversation, and it’s the left who is trying to divide us!’ But to tell people long targeted by an elite demoralization campaign that they shouldn’t believe what they heard with their own ears and blame it on others is predatory.
So, yes H1B matters because it’s an effect of the core issue — indeed the reason DJT is POTUS — a political and corporate establishment that has waged a half-century long campaign to destroy the American middle class. (LINK)
There were always going to be uncomfortable moments inside the tenuous MAGA alignment with the billionaire technocrats; however, this is not that. This is far beyond uncomfortable moments. Immigration and jobs for Americans first, are core issues for millions of Americans. The Silicon Valley response to controlling that conversation is not good.
Ultimately, as we are all witnessing, many of these people do not have our best interests at heart.
Keep watching closely.

I assume this sacks guy can block anyone he wants on his feed, right? I don’t do any of this social media stuff, but I have always assumed anyone could block anyone from commenting on their feed.
People in high places don’t like being challenged. You see that everyday in the corporate world. Huge paychecks for incompetent results and no one can stop it or even criticize it. It’s not allowed.
BTW: WhoTF is david sacks? Never even heard of this titmouse……..
A silcon valley venture capitalist billionaire
Who is David Sacks, the Bay Area venture capitalist tagged by Donald Trump to lead on AI, cryptocurrency?
“But as a billionaire presidential adviser, Sacks carries baggage: His San Francisco VC firm Craft Ventures boasts investments in AI and cryptocurrency, the two technologies he is directly charged with overseeing, ”
https://www.seattletimes.com/business/who-is-david-sacks-the-bay-area-venture-capitalist-tagged-by-donald-trump-to-lead-on-ai-cryptocurrency/
Conflict of interest much?
Nah…
Give him the sack.
Trump needs to talk Gold Standard currency IMHO…….it’s the only way to prosperity. Paper without backing and Digital money are a farce too far to contemplate. Precious metals can’t be reproduced in abundance. Ya can’t pull the plug on them like ‘digital’, nor hack them.
Russia KNOWs it and has accomplished it. They are also building Churches; while the USA does the opposite. Go figure how the US is in cahoots with China and India……..and backing AI as the savior of all saviors for the world. We know how to pull plugs, lest they forget. IT is entertainment and labor saving ; nothing more.
David Sucks
Warren Buffett’s friend and investing partner, Charlie Munger (deceased) said “that crypto is the electronic version of ‘Tulip Mania’.”
Does it even exist if the electricity goes out?
They “mine” it?
Who owns the mine?
Sundance should write an article explaining what, exactly, is so advantageous about crypto.
If Bitcoin has gone from one dollar to
100,000 dollars then how is that, not simply, mania type speculation.
Why would I want a currency (means of exchange) that is so incredibly volatile?
Elon and his crew are all lying to us. Elon’s immediate retreat from “F you in the face” to “reform H1B” is a lie. They want to keep the system as it is. Eliminate ALL foreign work visas. Jobs for Americans first. Period. Full stop.
Yes I’m glad so many people can see through that.
Perhaps it is time MAGA starts putting pressure on the head of the Committee on Education and Labor workforce in Congress. Take our would be X posts and transfer them to meaningful emails and messages directly to Congress. Of course that route does come with the maneuvering to find out who is not bought and paid for by the technocrats.
Oh what a tangled web they weave…
Elon chose H1 as his hill to declare war.
He wants to control and suppress the complaints of the American peasants who dare presume to be hired by companies on American soil.
I hope x experiences an exodus.
At the very least, these tech billionaires are ‘wandering outside their lane’, much as RFK JR would be doing, if he began getting into admin plocy on gun control or Climate change, instead of focusing on pharm drugs, vax’s and food production.
They are to be on an advisory board for AI, etc.
And Vivek and Elon an advisory DOGE group, on Gov. inefficiency.
Nothing about legal immigration system, at all.
And, recall to, they are in ADVISORY positions, they have no Governmental power..they can advise the President, who is free to take their advice, or ignore it.
Had had a whole room full of advisors (except Navarro, IIRC) saying “Don’t ban flights from China!” and he did it anyway.
Had a room full of generals urging him to bomb Iran, for shooting down an unmanned drone at the end of kits service
life,…and he said “NO!”.
Their Billions bought them a seat at the table, but not at the head if the table.
I am still waiting for Elon’s apology to President Trump for his gross insult directed at President Trump, and us MAGA.
Hold not thy breath!
His response was that of an unstable person!
Yes, it was and illustrated just how immature and self-serving he is.
How do we know it’s a lie? If he really wanted to pursue America First MAGA policies he would be announcing that ALL of his companies were immediately discontinuing ALL participation in the H1B program and on January 1 they would all institute a program to return all H1B persons to their homeland and replace them all with American citizen workers by July 1.
Listening closely for this. Still waiting. All I hear are crickets.
I support “Hire American”, but you better get the colleges to start producing knowledgeable, skilled students. IMESHO, in the past I had some “Ivy League” boys that worked for me, but I had some community college kids that produced better results.
In the early 80s, when the entire PC world was starting, very few knew anything about writing code for PCs. This was when MSDOS was the primary operating system for most PCs. Until then, nearly all computing was done by room sized massive computers. Seeing a potential application for PCs in management, while keeping our day job, we learned to write code and developed a broad application PC based program related to health care management. This took a couple months and somewhat bothered the mainframe computer people. Regardless, word of this program reached the University of Washington. Rather then having their current students develop a similar program, they sent a representative over to analyze the finished product. We ended up selling the program to them. The point of this is that the big universities haven’t produced the best and brightest for over 40 years.
Universities don’t educate they indoctrinate…
Interesting. Washingtonian here…
Chad,
How did we get to a situation where a nation known for being overcrowded and widespread poverty is producing so many engineers that they can spare thousands to the USA?
Not by accident!
India created a huge STEM school infrastructure which includes room and board at the schools through college. Only the top achieving students get approved. So a poor kid from a village can get a top education paid for by the government if he can meet the standards (which are high).
America does something similar for top athletes.
Who came up with that program?
National teacher of the year John Taylor Gatto wrote about it in his book criticizing compulsive schooling systems, “Weapons of Mass Instruction…”.
We need a “Manhattan Project” type program in America to copy the system in India.
We seem to have just the opposite.
Also see book by Pete Hegseth, “Battle for the American Mind.” (Co-author David Goodwin).
There is a new university in Austin, TX that is free if admitted. Maybe called “Austin University”? Created by people fed up with the current system.
Correction “Austin College” near Dallas.
https://www.austincollege.edu/
I heard recently about that university on the Shawn Ryan podcast (#151) with guest Joe Lonsdale. He was one of the startups for it and, if I recall correctly, is on the board.
Lonsdale was part of the original PayPal mafia, as many here are calling them.
The University did sound like a useful enterprise. But just adding this information for balance.
Lonsdale seemed to me a similar person to Musk in many ways.
Well. I believe it all goes hand in hand. Screw-up the college kids, make them get vaccinated=justify bringing in immigrants.
Unfortunately, the die is caste; we have crossed the Rubicon. Let’s see what PDJT does with this….I agree with Sundance, this is a major deal. My whole career has been in and out of Silicon Valley . I’ve watched it change from a hardware/ marketing driven culture to what it is today. Software driven shythole we are witnessing today.
What they’ll do is make it so H1B adds some restrictions, but they’ll create a new visa category that allows them to get around it and hope nobody notices.
I think the end result of this is they create a very strong anti-Indian backlash. This issue cuts across the traditional party lines because cheap Indian labor impacts Democrats in deep blue states (Silicon Valley/Seattle/CA/WA) as much as it affects Republicans in red states (e.g. Disney/Florida).
As an added plus, a lot of people don’t much like Indian workers who are like an alien race teleported into the USA.
You are correct that this is turning into.a racial issue. Neera Tandon is stoking it but I think most.can see through it by now.
Elon doesn’t know anatomy; does he really think he can F US in the face?? Had a good laugh at his rant!!
Not his rant. It’s from the 2008 movie Tropic Thunder.
Tom Cruise (in costume) delivered the rant there.
I threw it on a background TV during chores today (it was on one of my streaming services). Didn’t actually watch it, per se, as much as just fast-forwarding to find the scene (just about exactly 1 hour into the film).
It’s called a “high-concept” comedy on IMDB. Unfortunately it’s nothing but dumb and vulgar throughout. Didn’t laugh once. Lots of the humor was poking fun at actors and their inanities, which I usually enjoy, but not in this thing, it all fell flat.
If Elon knows it well enough to quote from memory, it doesn’t say much for his emotional level. I’d guess about 12 years old.
Here’s something fun to peruse if you want a break from H1-B talk – but it’s still relevant for insight into Elon. This is the page of the 1-star reviews:

😆
Thank you, I thought I had heard every use of the F word, it’s everywhere nowadays.
All the while growing up I only heard it one time; my mother threw a bowl of popcorn at my father when he said it, scared us and we wanted to know what did he say? . We didn’t really hear it, years later my brother said he knew what the word was daddy said and he said it; we said what does it mean and his reply was ‘don’t know, but never say it’……being naive was a good place to be.
I think the problem might be that much of what this Big Tech barons do is surveillance/security/military/intelligence and they are better off using foreigners for that work whom they can more easily control and get rid of if necessary.
I don’t think this has anything to do with race or cost etc. Something else.
many so called “contractors’ in the intelligence community are in fact H1B sourced. So you are over the target environment.
there are other legal reasons also to use H1B non-citizens. as contractors they are required to be paid a per diem compensation but lose that benefit if they spend more than 12 continuous months or work at any one single location. So they move them around…enforcing a silo effect.
additionally, these workers rarely if ever get full classmat authorizations…because you know they are not fully citizens nor are their contracts drawn up to allow the full access.
basically, the point here is that they are hired guns…absent the regular order to make any waves and to questions orders. They are in fact technobix indentured servant/mercenaries.
I lived in Canada for a while where there was an EDS (?) call centre in a building that used to be a Walmart. Huge. No windows. But off to one side at the end with a separate entrance and internally walled off was a small sub-section for about 150 employees who were doing CIA work. Some sort of 5-eyes deal most likely so that Canadian citizens could surveil things from abroad that the CIA could not surveil domestically. Or some such.
In any case, very hush-hush. I was around that building often but never saw any movement in or out of that section. Maybe they never slept!
Absolutely!
Mr. DO(d)GE won’t conceal the facts by changing his twitter algorithms.
REPORT: Musk’s Tesla Filed 3,200 H1-B Labor Applications This Year
Far from addressing labor shortages or fostering innovation, the H-1B visa program has become a tool for corporations to exploit cheap foreign labor, drive down wages, and displace American workers. Tesla’s own skyrocketing use of the program exemplifies these abuses, making it clear the program must end.
Wage Suppression.
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) routinely certifies H-1B positions at wage levels far below the local median, effectively undercutting American workers. Sixty percent of all H-1B positions in FY 2024 were certified at wage levels that fell short of local standards. The law grants the DOL the authority to mandate fairer wages, but it has failed to act, allowing systemic exploitation to persist…
https://thenationalpulse.com/2024/12/29/report-musks-tesla-filed-3200-h1-b-labor-applications-this-year/
Perhaps that is why battery technology is so far behind. Need some American engineering creativity on it.
Biden sold our battery tech to China. Sundance did a great article on it.
Yep.
The Department of Energy turned over all the R&D on Vanadium redox flow battery technology that US. tax dollars funded.
And now China is building out battery capacity that the US can’t afford because we’re fighting for democracy in Ukraine. Everything this administration has done is a betrayal of America.
But that’s not what happened. Instead of the batteries becoming the next great American success story, the warehouse is now shuttered and empty. All the employees who worked there were laid off. And more than 5,200 miles away, a Chinese company is hard at work making the batteries in Dalian, China.
The Chinese company didn’t steal this technology. It was given to them — by the U.S. Department of Energy. First in 2017, as part of a sublicense, and later, in 2021, as part of a license transfer. An investigation by NPR and the Northwest News Network found the federal agency allowed the technology and jobs to move overseas, violating its own licensing rules while failing to intervene on behalf of U.S. workers in multiple instances.
https://www.npr.org/2022/08/03/1114964240/new-battery-technology-china-vanadium
Hmm, unless it was done pre-inauguration in early January, 2017 was on President Trump’s watch. Was he aware of this?
Ask Rick Perry. He was PDJT’s Secretary of Energy that year.
Same batteries as the Mars rover.
note: the battery tech is intentionally defected. what good is a life time battery to Tesla?
a new Tesla battery for even the low end model is approximately 30K USD (2024). And that is just the cost of the battery. This does not include the shipping, the time spent replacing it, nor the cost of labor to perform the R&R. Setting aside the hidden cost of how to properly and safely dispose of the old battery, which is interestingly not very high as a priority for tesla to comment about publicly (I wonder why), we then turn to the not so well understood limits of li-ion batteries in cold weather: not only do LION batteries become very inefficient in cold weather…but also have about half the expected life cycle before they must be replaced. Nice to know you north north America…not.
I can go on…there are just so many more factors about EV cars that do not make any economic advantages. It’s basic physics that even the average HS student can learn.
which brings the point back home:
why IS Elon so insistant on cheap labor from India?
is one of those reasons, other than making a pile of money, that they is less risk that they so called highly skilled laborers even have clue about how to evaluate EV cars and batteries.
big picture people. big picture.
ev cars and the market for power to charge them is at least one factor of cost higher than ICE vehicle.
and that is being modest/conservative.
on paper, I can make anything look great..
just ask VW/FIAT…they developed the most Efficient Diesel ever and got US trade benefits as a result.
only thing: they installed a cheat code…no one bothered to actually test the exhaust…until some independent graduate student discovered the cheat code when the emission did not match even close to the manufacturers legal claims to gain US market entry. huh.
imagine that. a simple math guy in A US UNIVERSITY uncovers what the regulatory agency of the United States seemingly could not even be bothered or troubled to look at.
we are being represented by some very incompetent and galactically stupid federal employees.
and why should they care anyway? there are no consequence for shitty work@!!@!@
now we have Elon musk suppposedly taking the lead to advice President Trump on government inefficiencies.
what could possibly go wrong?
God Bless America
Wow! Thank you for this. I knew nothing about batteries, now I do. Isn’t this alot of what the hurricane in NC is about…
I just thought of an awesome new tariff that Trump can levy…basically take the DOL wage levels and tax tech companies at 15% above the prevailing wage rate. Heck, just make it the same and watch and see how fast they decide it’s more economical to just hire Americans.
Also, it results in taxpayers voting the bill in perpetuity via chain migration. The business saves money but we end up financing it.
All ANYONE needs to know with graphs of everything. A detailed analysis:
H-1B DATA MEGA-THREAD
29 Dec 2024
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1873174358535110953.html
I downloaded five years of H-1B data from the US DOL website (4M+ records) and spent the day crunching data.
I went into this with an open mind, but, to be honest, I’m now *extremely* skeptical of how this program works.
Here’s what I found
[big snip]
As it turns out, these are ALL Indian companies that import H-1B tech workers en masse:
Cognizant (93k)
Infosys (61k)
Tata Consultancy Services (60k)
Wipro
Capgemini
HCL
Compunnel
Tech Mahindra
Mphasis
These aren’t American companies that needed international talent to fill critical roles. They’re foreign companies that appear to have been founded to place overseas tech workers into US companies as contractors.
[big snip]
I’ve spent my career in M&A and corporate finance, and I’ve been involved in a lot of budget and hiring decisions. Unless we’ve overpaid every developer and IT person at every company I’ve ever worked for, $80-120k for roles like this is NOT market (value).
[big snip]
You can see where I’m going with this. A casual perusal of the data shows that this isn’t a program for the top 0.1% of talent, as it’s been described. This is simply a way to recruit hundreds of thousands of relatively lower-wage IT and financial services professionals.
America needs to be a destination for the world’s most elite talent. But the H-1B program isn’t the way to do that.

Big Tech’s H1B Arguments Aren’t Just FALSE… They’re Also Immoral.
26 Dec 2024
HUGE factor marked with ***:
https://thenationalpulse.com/analysis-post/big-techs-h1b-arguments-arent-just-false-theyre-also-immoral/
Excerpts:
H1Bs benefit tech companies on two key fronts:
First, on average, H1B workers are paid significantly less than their American-born counterparts. This effectively puts downward pressure on wages across the industry, meaning American workers also get paid less;
***Secondly, because the visa is attached to the sponsor company, the foreign worker lacks the leverage afforded to American-born workers who can demand higher salaries by simply looking to take a job with a different firm.***
Little data actually supports the tech industry’s claims of a worker shortage and a need to end H1B country caps. The data does suggest, however, that big tech is replacing qualified and capable American workers with cheaper foreign labor.
Between 2022 and 2024, Amazon laid off nearly 30,000 high-skilled workers. In the same period—though in compliance with federal law regarding when companies can request H1B visa workers—the online retail giant expanded its workforce by nearly 100,000 foreign workers.
[document images]
Despite the layoffs, Amazon asked the federal government for a total allotment of 125,000 new H1B visa workers between 2022 and 2024, while they requested to retain around 90,000.
Similar trends are true for Google and Microsoft. Between 2022 and 2024, nearly 60,000 American workers were laid off among the three companies, while the companies increased their H1B employees by over 340 percent.
[document images]
———–
In an identical vein, cost cutting is one of the reasons for open borders. The corporations want cheap, hard working labor that can’t complain about work conditions, can’t demand higher wages or unionize, and whose wages and benefits are supplemented by taxpayer subsidies for the poor. As a side benefit, the increase in citizens by birth government dependents increases the control of our Corporatocracy.

A giant sacking sound.
Said by, as you know, Ross Perot who as a third party (Reform Party) candidate qualified on the ballots of all 50 states who looked like he was going to be a huge threat to the UniParty mainly due to his extremely informative and detailed 30-minute talks on TV instead of the usual 15 or 30 second ads smearing opponents and promising things without details.

Perot: Threats drove me out
Oct. 26, 1992
https://www.tampabay.com/archive/1992/10/26/perot-threats-drove-me-out/
Excerpts:
Ross Perot said Sunday he decided to drop his independent presidential bid in July because the Bush campaign was threatening to use dirty tricks to smear his daughter.
In his first stump appearance since re-entering the race Oct. 1, Perot said he had received three reports that the Republicans planned to “publish a false photograph of my daughter” before her Aug. 23 wedding and to disrupt the ceremony.
Perot, who has made other conspiracy allegations without offering proof, provided no evidence of his contention that Republicans sought to embarrass his youngest daughter, Carolyn.
Perot also made the allegations in interviews with CBS’ 60 Minutes and the Boston Herald.
Perot acknowledged some of his information came from Scott Barnes, a shadowy figure who has attempted to interest a number of news organizations in his claims of dirty tricks aimed at Perot. But he insisted he would not have withdrawn from the race based solely on information from Barnes.
“I cannot prove that any of that happened. I just got reports. It was a risk I could not take,” Perot said.
Perot said he was told by a “prominent Republican friend” whom he refused to name, that the Bush campaign had used a computer to create a “fake photograph” of Carolyn that would have embarrassed her and the family.
He said he was told Carolyn’s face was superimposed on the body of another person in an embarrassing situation and it was to be distributed to supermarket tabloids before her wedding. [or could it have been something else from the intel community? – W] Campaign operatives also planned to be at the church to disrupt the wedding ceremony, he said.
Perot also said Sunday he was warned the Bush campaign was planning to wiretap his Dallas business phone lines to disrupt his financial dealings. He said he has a videotape showing the wiretapper, a former CIA agent, talking to a Bush campaign aide.
So, gosh, “what a nut”, huh? >Psyop mission accomplished<

“blob” 😆
Once defending it with a threat of war, Trump advisors David Sacks and Elon Musk now publicly concede the H-1B guestworker program is “broken” and should be “overhauled”
This is the most common Washington play after the public petitions the government for a redress of its grievances. Make vague promises and then count on the public’s short attention span and news media’s facile interest until attention moves elsewhere.
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1873418286291177955.html#google_vignette
“count on the public’s short attention span”
Their meaning of broken probably is that the tech billionaires can not get enough non American cheap labor so it needs to be fixed to allow them to get all they want for their companies. That is the “overhaul” they want.
Its not “cheap hardworking labor”
Its slaves!
These people only get the job if they remain a slave to that company. As soon as they want to switch company, they get sent back. They are not allowed to challenge working conditions, or salary.
SLAVERY.
.
And then . . .
When the ‘liberals’ all realize that and get on their soapboxes, demanding freedom for these slaves, who do they expect to go to war over the issue?
Same as it always is . . .
Exactly! Its not just, or primarily that they work for lower salaries, and emplyers don’t have to pay SS tax on them.
Its that they are COMPLIANT, and will do as they are told, just like slaves.
Wonder how difficult the censoring of the internet at google, facebook, twitter etc. would hsve been over the last 8 years, if instead of complient slaves from India, the orders to censor hadcome down to Americans?
And, Vivek is right to say “its about the culture”; notice how dominant the Indians are in the H1 b system?
Why no “best and brightest” from any other country? Its because Inçia has an ingrainded CASTE system.
Thank you Winston for the analysis.
OH my! I’ve always said, the comments section is almost always as informative as the original article.
Thank you.
My wife worked for the US House of Representatives in the 90s-2000s. When I told her of your posting, she replied “of course”. It was known to be a farce back then, and almost all H-1Bs were going to Indians going to work in Indian owned US companies.
That’s a broad brush, but it coincides with what you found.
I see it. I like the way 47 is going about this. Once you see it, keep quiet about it. Don’t give the game away. One thing to remember, is that EVERYBODY reads here. Everybody.
I’ll be looking to see PDJT’s actual policies. Presently though, it would be good to see him tell everyone to take a beat and stand down until he’s actually in office.
Agree. People have got their knickers totally twisted over a pretty inconsequential issue.

He is no longer just a telephone wire anonymously transmitting other peoples’ communications. He is now the newspaper, liable for everything communicated in it. Welcome to America, land of hungry plaintiffs’ lawyers.
Only the government has the lawyers to take on the world’s richest man. Elon is the GOVERNMENT..
Two things:
1) Remember in PDJT’s first term when President Trump surrounded himself with Generals? I’m presuming it was because he thought they were loyal to the US and were great leaders but they were only there to undermine him and protect their interests in the DC machine.
He is now surrounding himself with “tech generals” and I presume he’s doing it for similar reasons. They are already showing they have their own agenda to minimize President Trump and keep him isolated.
As for Susie Wiles, she is no better than General Kelly in that she gets to decide what the President sees and hears and has made it very clear with her “clown car people” comment.
It would be very interesting to see who she includes in that group. Does it include people who question the integrity of our elections? People against the vaccines? People against funding Ukraine? I could go on and on. Personally I believe she serves DC’s interests over PDJT.
President Trump’s achilles heel is that he trusts people to a fault. I hope he sees the same playbook is being used against him with different actors to undermine his goals for the US.
2) Regarding the tech billionares and their agenda:
Matthew 19:24
“ And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”
Especially a rich man who wears $7500 devil leathers on Halloween..
Yes, I have thought that too
Except they ain’t buying a stairway to heaven. They just want a stairway to Mars!
Somebody strap him to a rocket and make his dream come true.
Well, Somebody has to mine its resources!!
Fire all generals and promote colonels with real combat experience and loyalty to the US. Then systematically start removing these traitors and foreign interloping parasites sucking the life out of this country.
Call up the Patriots that were purged the last 25 years. If they still pack the sand, have them get this next generations Military minds right as back up to the Combat Colonels..
Colonels are busy kissing ass to become generals.
IIRC, PDJT said we have plenty of good generals, like GENERAL Raisin Kane.
Just need to do some selective thinning and promoting in the officer corp. to get back a military of Warriors; thats Hagseths job.
All these “tech” guys are foreigners.
They only know the American Empire. This is what they want.
They don’t know actual Americans but what they’ve seen on TV. They can’t and won’t ever understand.
They’re full of hubris.
The only way to save America as a people and a place is to end the Empire.
Most are from India
We are not Americans to them, we are flies in the ointment.
Deplorables, human garbage, enemies of the state. And “they” can’t understand why we feel like we are living under an occupational regime trying to get rid of us?
Wasn’t President Trump, as a government official, forced to unblock people he had previously blocked?
Some of these people doing the blocking will soon become government officials.
Rules only apply to us REAL Americans who they consider human garbage and people who can get “F’ed in the face” if we don’t like being lorded over like serfs.
I guess Elon forgets that President Trump owns his own Social Media company. We can easily transfer our X posts regarding this issue to Truth Social!
I was thinking of promoting my books on X, but now I think I will be looking at Telegram and Truth Social.
.
I believe gab has a robust marketplace . . .
I am pondering posting the following on X…
December 30, 2024
Dear Mr. Musk,
It has come to my attention that X is now diminishing the voices of those opposed to H1B Visas.
Elon Musk Changes Twitter Algorithm to Diminish MAGA Opposition to Silicon Valley Group and Support Influence Over Trump Policy
I had never used Twitter at the time you purchased it, nor do I use any other Social Media, but to support your move to make all voices heard, I joined. With the imminent financial failure of Twitter looming, both my wife and I signed up for the $8 approved accounts. Not that you need my $16, but to support the platform that had been used by a nefarious government to silence its opposition and now was promising exposure of those tactics, and an openness for future communications.
I applaud your efforts with the Department of Government Efficiency though it remains to be seen if your suggestions have any impact. I remember When President Reagan authorized the Grace Commission in Executive Order 12369 in 1982. In 1984 the Commission made a plethora of suggestions along the same lines, but government largely ignored them and chugged on.
The support for H1B Visas by you, Vivek Ramaswamy, and others, is addressing the symptom, and not the problem. I suggest that the problems that have been known and demonstrated for decades are with the schools who produce graduates at inflated costs, but with inadequate schools. They are indoctrinated in every un-American dogma, but graduate without the ability to enter the jobs they thought they were being trained for.
The students are only partially to blame for the problem as they have been coddled by parents who don’t parent. Example: Rather than disallowing cell phones for youngsters, they get cell phones at an early age to help babysit. Now the parents turn to the government to solve the problem of what their children see on their phones. ‘The government is NOT here to help’!
None of my six grandchildren have cell phones, and the oldest is sixteen. Now that he is that age, he can acquire a cell phone when he can buy it, and pay for the monthly plan.
Young children who are raised with digital nannies have short attention spans and generally lower test scores than those who receive parental attention and discourse.
Children with short attention spans, often on drugs administered by the schools, are not able to excel in studies. And that is another of the symptoms that needs addressing; the government education system. Only school choice will allow parents choose to send their children to schools with real educational curriculums. School administration must return to the states and taken out of the hands of the Federal Government! That is the way it was for over two hundred years and the US produced some of the best and brightest. That is no longer the case, and that is why you are looking to H1B Visas to solve the problem.
President Jimmy Carter established the Department of Education, and education in America has plummeted since. The US now ranks fourteenth in the world for education. There are of course websites and “educators” who claim we are #1, but you would have to be a fool to believe that. There would be no need for foreign educated graduates if that were true.
There are perhaps no short term solutions other than H1B Visas with short stays, no permanency without citizenship, and no government assistance. These persons are after all the best and brightest sought by well paying companies. Their salaries should be more than sufficient to meet all their needs.
H1B Visas address the symptoms of our failed education system, not the cause.
Longer term solutions are as follows:
1) Abolish the Department of Education
a. Return education to the States, and the parents
b. Require the National Teacher’s Unions to register as Lobbyists
2) Deny Colleges and Universities any government funds including educational assistance loans for students who graduate with sub-par skills. Without those loans, students would seek out colleges of merit.
a. Realistic courses and testing to the program would be requisite. Above all, it requires professors who teach to a rigorous curriculum.
b. Mandatory courses on American History and Civics
c. No gender affirming, or transgender agenda
d. No DEI courses
Anecdote – A Dean of the Teachers College my son was attending made the unsolicited claim that most students seeking teaching degrees had already failed at the degree of choice once, possibly twice before seeking a teaching degree.
3) Firms with Department of Defense contracts must have a high percentage of US born nationals.
The above suggestions are worthy of DoGE time.
Respectfully,
If Indians are so smart why does their country look like it does? It’s a dump.
My husband is a Engineer and had to work in Turkey for a few weeks. He loved the people and made friends with the Turkish guys in the shop.
One of the Turks told him that he had been sent by the company to India. He said it was horrible and felt the company owed him big time for the time he spent in that sht hole.
Now you explain to me how India filled with all these supposedly superior educated people smells like raw sewage. Tell me why they aren’t leading the world? Tell me why these companies don’t build a Silicon Valley in India or China or anywhere else but here?
It is straight propaganda that Indians are better educated than Americans.
A former landlord of mine had work that would take him to India. He thought it was the most disgusting country he had visited.
He later had employment problems with the company that sent him to India and around the world, because they were hiring lots of Indians and other immigrants over white guys like himself.
He was competent to travel to other countries to do jobs nobody there knew how to do, but that didn’t matter to the cost-cutters.
My husband is in a lead position at his company. He has to mentor lots of engineers as part of his job. He works with engineers from Brazil, India, China, and Russia.
For the most part he has good relations with all. He has worked on long term projects with all these different engineers as do others on his team.
Indian engineers like Chinese engineers will often lie until the lie cannot be told anymore. They only want to give good news and look competent. If something is wrong they hide it. It’s very hard to be successful on a project with people who will not tell the truth about difficulties.
He has a coworker who calls America the A team Bangalore the B team and China the C team. It has double meaning and all the Americans know exactly what he means.
I am frustrated and offended by the idea that India or China perform better than we do. And by the idea they have a better culture. No. They. Do. Not.
It is the exact opposite. Shame on Americans that buy into this lie.
I spent 3 years in Engineering, and 4 years Business,
real demanding University courses,
people have no idea what goes on in these schools,
to complement and support your post.
Cheating and deceit is common and everyone knows it.
C team lead here.
The Japanese suffer from this problem too.
Yes does not mean yes, it means I heard you.
This is one of the main reasons given for the nuclear meltdown.
How can the Chinese communist dictatorship have a better culture?
A repeating theme in the tech industry.
The problem with India is their caste system. They have no lateral movement between classes. By design. The elitists make government policy, which means the lower castes are kept in their place. Yes, the Indian ELITES are probably better educated than the average American. They also suffer the hubris, contempt, and condescension that our elites do. Except they have zero fear of the “great unwashed” because they have the ability to politically neuter them.
They cheat and they lie. It is rampant for foreign medical students to cheat on entrance exams. https://www.businessinsider.com/india-families-paying-thousands-help-students-cheat-entrance-exams-2024-9
Because they educate themselves to escape that poverty.
This cycle will soon start over. We are currently in the weak man phase.
“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”
My grandfather was an engineer
My husband is an Engineer and my son is going to school to be an engineer.
We are educating ourselves to gain opportunity too.
We are at a weak man stage only because our government no longer exists to serve our people.
I’m sure there are plenty of slather ass Americans but there are also plenty hard working, brilliant Americans.
I happen to believe in this country and I have common sense and know that Indians have NOTHING on Americans.
Not brains. Not culture.
This propaganda is a bunch of lies. Go to India and see for yourself.
My aunt is well-traveled throughout Europe, North Africa, and Asia. India is the one place she has said she would never go back to. The Indians coming here are upper caste types trying to escape that s-hole…e.g. Patels.
And they are known cheaters. My wife had to interview them in person for jobs. She said every resume by Indians were almost identical with minor changes and would flunk out in the interview. Intel is dying a death of a thousand cuts because they replaced people with decades of tribal knowledge with people with almost zero experience, all because the bean counters could save on the healthcare and benefit costs of hiring H1b.
I fly to Delhi on Jan 11 for a week of business meetings.
Will be my fourth trip in 5 years.
Dreading it. I am actually thinking about faking an illness to have a medical excuse to travel.
Boots on the ground, plus working with Indians… almost every comment by Sundance and Treepers has been accurate about the culture and attitudes. Like everything, there are exceptions, but the average is still the average…
Well said! 👏👏👏👏
Removing #2b,c,d will get more Reads and Likes as some of the #2 items would be ok but now distract from the great points you have made.
Yes! Add to that an axiom about credibility. Once you lose it, it’s nearly impossible to ever get it back. Nobody will trust you again.
To those in the MSM, all politicians, in the medical field, and now Musk…
Once our trust has been betrayed and abused, there is no use your asking how you can regain it.
There is no way.
Trust is sacred.
We’re done here.
Absolutely I am done with that man. He wants to bring us a war beyond our comprehension? We’ve been in a war for decades and we finally have a chance to correct – WTH did he think MAGA is? Squirming like a maggot lashing out and calling us racist? I hope the people who idolize him have eyes to see.
This ‘in fighting’ is NOT between MAGA/Tea Party supporters; it is between MAGA and the Uniparty. We are about to dig out the swamp and eject the scum. Propaganda ‘divisions’ aint gonna work anymore.
Adios to the Neo con GOP and the Socialist left; they are actually one and the same. AND we are not about to be open to an ‘invasion’ of Indian/Asian smart alecks. sarc/ Legal immigration controlled and followed to a t.
Americans are fighting for the future of America; not by invasion, equity, and diversity; Our population is the most diverse in the world, we have equality, freedom, and one goal to keep America America. A Constitutional Republic, merit based education and employment, the three R education, christian peace and love, love of neighbors and above all true love and respect for America. The Neo cons are past it, NWO/communism should bite the dust and colonialism to create ‘nations’ thrown out the window. We don’t want to change America nor reform it; We want to restore it to it’s full glory.
NOT Imperialism, NOT monarchy, NOT tyranny, NOT isolated, American through and through. The People are the heart and soul, well even the government of the USA.
God Help US
What makes ‘invasion’ from the ME, Africa, Asia, Philippines, the 17 US territories, AND other overpopulated areas any different from Mexico, Central America, South America, and Canada?? Mexico and all the way south our neighbors, Canada our neighbors and invasion is not necessary. Legal immigration does have open arms.
We need an immigration moratorium for the next 100 years after what we’ve been through.
Technocrats do not believe in free speech, they prefer controlled speech.
The Trilateral Commission, like the CFR, distrusted public opinion preferring technocratic control (control by technical experts) with government control on information. A consolidation of appointed experts in the executive branch, unelected but with governmental power, was a cornerstone to corporate control.
To read more about this consider reading The Trilateral Commission and The New World Order by Heinz Duthel, or The Trilateral Commission and the Carter Administration by Jay Peterzell or The Trilateral Commission https://www.elquintopoder.cl/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/miembros-comision-trilateral-2009.pdf.
pick your dictator.
musk ratt is a mole….
just shared to my truthsocial account…….cherp@cherpfromgabandtwitter,,,y’all need to get on truthsocial also, follow conservative treehouse, and repost what sundance does
Conservative Treehouse is on Truth Social?
While I do see a TheLastRefuge2 account on Truth Social, there are no Truths attached to it, nor does it have Sundance’s Twitter (X) profile picture.
Or am I misunderstanding you?
I tried to join Truth Social today since I had joined Gab over this tech bros criticism of Americans but it required my phone# even though I was on a PC.
I complied but it then also required I allow texts to get registered so I had to check the box and got a scam text about debt collection as I was still setting up. Maybe it was coincidence, but I exited the registration.
I wish they just did email verify like gab, it was easy.
They do sneak in some crap, but is better than torbas antisemitism, if you have a VPN you will be fine
It is the last refuge
I agree, it doesn’t appear to be an active account despite the red checkmark.
Haha, so now Treepers have joined the “orange man bad” Democrat, left wing camp.
My how MAGA has fallen for this psyop!
I would suggest that 20 million illegals are the more pressing concern.
i think treepers know that trump will straighten this out ,with or without musk and vivek. haha, jam it.
If they know Trump will straighten this out, then I guess there is no need for Sundance to gaslight, and commenters to write rude, degrading and vitriolic posts about their President.
People need to stop and think, do their own research, and not believe all the garbage being spewed on this topic.
The deep state and Democrats are loving the divisiveness occurring in the MAGA movement.
Actually, the MAGA movement is pretty much all on the same side of this issue. It’s only consolidated the movement.
I didn’t notice any gaslighting by sundance, nor have I ever.
.
You are naive if you believe that only those scurriously cross the border are ‘illegals’.
Many visa over-stays — including H1B visas, are in our country illegally, thus rendering those scofflaws illegals as well.
I doubt the scofflaws are anywhere near the number of illegals crossing the border.
THEY are the greatest concern and the greatest national security and economic threat.
The H-1B issue is just a manufactured one and MAGA people are stupidly falling for it.
President Trump has not made a statement on this issue. That should tell you that it is not a high priority in his agenda.
.
If you do not believe that Tom Homan will have at his fingertips all the data on H1B over-stays and create a division in the Border Czar office to scour that data and enforce our laws, then why would you get all excited about his job in going into the court system to root out the criminals who are here illegally?
Why focus on only one class of illegals and not others?
My impression of PDJT not making a statement on the issue is that he knows who he put in charge of the border and does not need to tell the man how to do the job . . .
Yawn…I see you’re still at it.
I think some of us here have been assigned our very own stalkers. Particular handles that attempt to naysay whatever point we have made.
“I doubt the scofflaws are anywhere near the number”
You would be wrong.
All of it is a pressing concern. It’s been going on for decades and this country will cease to exist if it isn’t stopped in its tracks.
Entry via fraud is illegal.
I did not vote for Elon or Vivek or Sriram or Sacks. I think PDJT should reconsider these people as advisors.
They are racist against Americans not America First. Not even close. They are Indiaphiles.
They don’t belong in decision making positions.
All they care about is their stocks going up another 1% regardless the cost to the country.
Perhaps more significant they are corporatists, technocrats, globalists, and psychopaths. They believe they are the enlightened “as gods” destined to “advance the human race”.
They have no interest or concern for the welfare or well-being of those they consider to be “lesser beings”. Why would they have any true support for MAGA except as a means to advance their own megalomaniac ambitions.
I apologize that I have entered this comment before, but feel that it is relevant. We are hearing extreme versions of arguments about using H1Bs, and usually the correct answer is in the middle. In 2020, President Trump wrote EO 13843 to ensure the prioritized employment of US citizens at the TVA versus foreign contractors. That represented a narrower focus, but has very similar concerns that were expertly handled in the Executive Order. Part of the immigration program was designed to bring talented professionals into the nation, but we can see how that was distorted. It would seem that the use of H1B personnel in government related jobs could be easily controlled by such an EO. There would need to be a serious effort to prevent spying or sabotage.
Maybe our colleges should focus on quality technical programs versus social and “woke” training. It is very difficult to remain objective about college programs and the real merits to society. The problem with technical programs is that they generally take knowledge, commitment, and hard work to complete and more work than many students want to exert.
We have more graduated STEM workers than available jobs for them. We do not need any H1b visa people.
The visa for elite super special foreigners is not h1b.
50% of h1b visas go to a handful of Indian companies that have moved to the US to supply cheap Indian labor.
These people are coached for interviews and their resumes are tweeked with lies. They are crammed into apartments and indentured to their employers.
These companies have been sued for discrimination of Americans and had to pay damages.
This entire system is a racket that dangles our country as bait to these people who are desperate to get out of their own sht hole country. They are not smarter than us. They are cheaper.
Our new graduates voted for PDJT and deserve better. Those frat boys that saved the American flag and were at Trump’s convention deserve better.
Our kids are saddled with debt from over priced universities and then denied the opportunity to compete because we’re to busy catering to greedy tech holes like Musk who just want cheap minions.
Why should American kids who beat the bad education system to get a degree in STEM be discriminated against in their own country?
I thought we were promised a golden age of America. I thought we were promised America First.
I support hiring qualified American students who meet the job qualifications. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering with significant graduate level education in solid state physics, which is related to integrated circuit design and fabrication. Probably half of the students in those graduate programs were foreign students. The equipment and talent needed to teach such technology is very costly, and there are relatively few schools that have the equipment to enable that training. There are many qualified workers from the semiconductor firms in Asia that may be interested in working in America, and could benefit the local industry.
Exactly. It’s a huge myth that we have a shortage of STEM workers. We have lots of them who can’t find jobs because they are discriminated against by companies which hire cheaper, less competent Indian workers.
Billie you are absolutely correct, Americans do NOT need H1. It’s the corporate powers that want H1.
The fundamental divide is that MAGA wants the businesses on American soil to hire Americans.
Americans have been forced to watch immigrants take our jobs and get called racists for objecting.
We get to watch our kids graduate get zero job offers that the corporations fill with immigrants.
Those technocrats, just like congress sure get lots of gov money.
The corporatists claim that American policy should benefit the corporations as this MAY benefit the American People as well. MAGA believes American policy should benefit the American People and if that happens to benefit the corporations as well okay.
This is population replacement; make no mistake about that.
Really? H-1B visa holders pale in comparison to the 20-30 million illegals.
You can’t multi task, can you?
I am watching closely. And I’m watching many people who continue to tell me that Elon and Vivek are just “inexperienced” at this political game. Hogwash.
I’m not on Xwitter. Wouldn’t be a bad idea, though, for those who are to get the word out and tag Musk, Sacks, et al. Let them go on a bantastic extravaganza and expose it. Problem with these elitists is they believe they have all the power, while ignoring the millions who do have power by sheer numbers.
Xcancel.com read twitter without signing up for twitter. Handy sometimes.
Thanks for posting that, I had never heard of it. I just now tried it and it works, indeed a handy thing.
H-1B is DEI in thin disguise > you can fool some of the MAGA kool-aid addicts, some of the time….
This is what I want too, I want it GONE.
Steve Bannon: So, no, David Sacks, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Elon Musk…your complete collapse…’Oh, we just want to reform…’ — There’s no reformation. No reform. We want it gone. We demand that it’s gone. I’ve got another alternative. We want reparations for the tech workers that you stole their lives.
Bannon is an idiot and looking for viewers.
I suggest he be more worried about the millions and millions of illegals who are a national security threat and costing taxpayers billions every year to support them.
H-1B visa holders have a job, support themselves, and are not a drain on taxpayer dollars.
He can do both.
If Americans lose out on jobs to foreigners, that’s a drain too, and the president’s duty is to Americans, not Indians.
You sound like an hb1 holder. Worried?
.
National security threat?
Oh.
So, not one of those H1B holders is in this country with a chip on their shoulder, avarice in their heart, and fingers on the button that could set off an EMP and shut down not only the way of life that they beget, but also the way of life for yourself and millions of other people?
Such utter naivety on your part . . .
A Christian, Honduran family that comes here and works hard and has 2 to 4 children is not a security threat.
Muslim or pagan tech workers that come here and take high paying jobs, have ten kids, never assimilate, and actively discriminate against blacks, and whites, and Christians are a huge threat.
But then again we can just stop both. End all work visas for tech and build the wall.
The threat was obvious before election day when President Trump noted that he was doing his last rallies.
The rallies are/were his only 2-way connection to the people. He’s a populist, he’s not at core a conservative. Many of his ideals may work to MAGA goals but he needs the guidance of the larger audience. This is the same thing that happened with kungflu. They shut down his rallies and from that moment onward he was not hearing the people, he was only hearing what controllers wanted him to hear.
Bring back the rallies and he’ll hear the voices again.
Here is David Sachs on censorship.
And now this is the guy blocking sundance on X.
You gotta laugh! Theatre of the Absurd…
STEVE BANNON DOES NOT MINCE WORDS THIS MORNING.
‘This H-1B mess all started after Trump dinner with David Sacks.’
That’s what I love about Steve Bannon. He’s a warrior. He’s no dummy and he doesn’t suffer fools. If not for him, who would be out there fours a day, six days a week, fighting the MAGA fight as effectively as he does? Yeah, I know he irritates many, and I appreciate that, too.
I never trusted Elon Mush or H1bswampy, and this C19 type of censorship, telling us to “F ourselves in the face” is all you need to hear. I was hoping Elon was the real deal and I’m glad he is so arrogant that he actually told us who he and his friends really are. At least he isn’t pretending. I will give him credit for that. This flood of immigration, legal and illegal, has made this country much worse by every measurable metric. To deny and censor this conversation at least tells us we have a 4 year reprieve to get more active than ever at the local level because people like Elon Mush only care about expanding his and his pal’s empires at whatever expense to us REAL Americans.
It wasn’t right under Twitter’s Dorsey and it isn’t right now…Musk should know that better than anyone.
And many MAGA thought RFK, Jr. would be the headache (and maybe he will be).
This will only end when MAGA rises. Trump will need to go too,
Trump ain’t going no where
It’s like swatting flies around here…
FWIW-(likely very little as I don’t seek followers). I just blocked DavidSacks. Would it be worth sizeable accounts to mass block him? If no other reason to stick it in his face?
Well, there is always Truth Social – I’m pretty sure Trump is not shutting down MAGA voices there. If we want to speak directly to Trump then it is best to cut out the questionable rich kid with his finger on the censorship button.
It occurred to me last night: maybe the main reason they want foreign workers has to do with security, be it commercial or military-government. Normal patriotic nationals, especially of the white and male variety, may not go along with much of what these Big Tech operators are into. Plus if a foreigner steps out of line, he is easier to banish or worse.
I do not unconditionally trust Trump on this, but suspect he has done a deal with the devil in that expectation that, on balance, Americans will benefit; less crime, more manufacturing jobs, better schools etc. So a small sector of plutocratic techBros are at the top of the modern food chain, even above the old Money Power Ghouls whom they are somewhat rivalling, perhaps even at some point replacing, but meanwhile the great mass of Americans are going to be getting a better deal and if that means working with the DOGers etc., it’s an acceptable compromise.
Because one way or another he does have to compromise. All leaders do. Every. Single. One.
“Elon Musk is building a bubble around Donald Trump to diminish opposition to the technocratic influence.”
Good luck with that! Trump is not a bubble boy and still seeks advice from voices like Steve Bannon, who is utterly opposed to H-1B.
My biggest concern right now is that all the fuss over H-1B is stealing the oxygen from the more pressing issue of the 15 million illegal aliens, many of them criminals, gang members, drug dealers, sex trafficers and terrorists, who have invaded our country under Biden and Mayorkas. This is by far the biggest thief of American jobs and the coming mass deportation is a massive effort that will need continuing public support.
Musk, for all his genius, suffers from Asperger’s syndrome, and such people are prone to fly off the handle, which is exactly what he did on the H-1B thing. But we can’t afford to let hot button issues distract us from our top priority, which has to be deporting the illegal invasion of America!
There’s no question that H-1B’s original de jure purpose of attracting the world’s top tech talent to the U.S. at a drip-drip rate has been corrupted into a de facto open faucet scam that’s stealing hundreds of thousands of lower tech jobs from qualified American workers in favor of imported labor, (mostly from India).
I think Trump is smart enough to walk and chew gum at the same time and deal with both issues.
But deportations come first!
He can’t deport anyone until he is in office.
He can put Musk Sacks and Vivek in their places, right now.
He can tell us that the fraudulent and corrupt H1B program will end on Day One.
.
People who have overstayed their visas — including H1B visas — are here illegally and subject to deportations also.
Plus, there should be a ‘paper trail’ of their presence in this country and, thus, ostensibly fairly easy to locate . . .
Why omit them from the Border Czar’s purview?
the L’s just keep piling up
its not going to end well.
Delighted that these guys came out from their rocks. Love what sunlight does to self-serving people. Continue telling MAGA what you really think of us! Pretty disgusting language from the initial messages. I have a bottle of liquid dial from when my kids were testing our family parameters. My eyes are wide open, but sometimes it takes a minute or two to realize the silo they are hiding in.
We all need to slow our role on this bullshit .Divide and conquer .That’s what these bastards are doing .We have 100 other good things going on with President Trump.
Instead we are laser focused on this one issue . Deport who we can now. Then deal with this H1B1 crap later .
Get over the fact that President Trump is not perfect .
Everyone is getting sucked into this one issue . H1B1 wasn’t even an issue during the campaign .
This isn’t the damn hill we should be dying on .
Please everyone get a grip.
No.
Musk and Ramaswarmy have earned themselves a very public spanking. By the people of MAGA and particularly by the leader of that movement. Part of MAGA is personal responsibility and acceptance of accountability.
Be careful about making more of this than there is. Permission to “be at the table” and participate in a conversation has always been about behavior and contribution. In the 90’s while working for a Fortune 500 company in middle management, during a major new product launch; I saw individuals who were unable to control their outbursts and who were not really contributing solutions be not invited to future meetings. There is nothing new under the sun.
Social media seems to be a place where certain individuals will state things that they would not in a face-to-face meeting with others. And social media is a place with easy ability to say to someone: “you don’t get to be at the table”.
Freedom of expression on Social Media has to deal with the reality of freedom to block or silence. We have all done it.
Some might want to ask themselves: Do I want to contribute a solution or be part of seeking solutions? Or, Do I want to vent my emotions any way that I want, including making accusations about others? A yes answers to those 2 different questions will require a different set of behaviors.
Choose carefully.
Blah, blah, blah
I’ve never trusted Musk and still don’t. Maybe Trump appointed these guys to keep them close. If he listens to them, his presidency will be a disaster.
He needed backing to beat the steal. What trade-offs he made remain to be seen.
Trump is too smart to allow his policies to be muted.
“Canary In A (Post) COVID World” vol.2 explains everything.
Flagging is censorship, so if it must happen then this is the place to talk about it..
Sack Sacks.
Please, Mr. President.
I’m so over these DOGE bundles of sticks.
This isn’t even the area they were assigned to advise on.
.
Actually, they were tasked with exposing the waste in government.
The government wasting hundreds of thousands of visas (not to mention tax dollars to institute these types of programs) to take jobs that Americans get forked over from getting, does seem to comply with that directive.
Maybe in an Orwellian way.
So DOGE has decided that the problem with Americans inefficiency is that they aren’t Indians. Problem solved.
.
Isn’t Mrs. Stephan Miller on the DOGE board?
Perhaps this issue (H1-b visas) was one she had the impetus to present to the other board members as something to be cut?
The ensuing fallout by the other two DOGE board members whom insulted Americans, appears to have revealed some ‘truths’ re: the appropriateness of one or the other of these two on this board . . .
Do either one of them have the interests of America at heart?
Very disturbing news. I haven’t been shocked by anything for a long time, but when I saw Musk’s profane & vehemently exaggerated outburst (not on X but on other social media which I did not believe at first), I was nearly knocked to the ground. Very disturbing BUT perhaps it is a positive that we know sooner rather than later. Pretty much all we can do is wait and watch. As for me, I’ll also keep praying. 🙏❤️🇺🇲
Vivek got very few votes when he ran for public office. He was not elected by anyone. He attached himself to the coattails of Donald Trump, for power and money.. It’s as simple as that. Vivek and Elon’s schooling is deficient in that they never studied the 50 state constitutions declaration of rights.
PA: Artic1, sec 2. All power is inherent in the people, and all free governments are founded on their authority and instituted for their peace, safety and happiness. For the advancement of these ends they have at all times an inalienable and indefeasible right to alter, reform or abolish their government in such manner as they may think proper.
VA: Art1, sec3 That government is, or ought to be, instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security of the people, nation, or community; of all the various modes and forms of government, that is best which is capable of producing the greatest degree of happiness and safety, and is most effectually secured against the danger of maladministration; and, whenever any government shall be found inadequate or contrary to these purposes, a majority of the community hath an indubitable, inalienable, and indefeasible right to reform, alter, or abolish it, in such manner as shall be judged most conducive to the public weal.[1]
We the people must hold them accountable.
Elon will reach out to his controlled opposition ally’s such as Con Inc/Tucker soon if not already to say something that will satiate his conservative flock. Or maybe Tucker will just ignore the matter all together similar to the way he sidesteps election fraud details.
Musk – from Hero to Zero.
Just like that!
