Something very interesting and openly obvious is happening amid the backlash that Elon Musk and the Silicon Valley network are facing to their H1B position.
Effective December 26, Elon Musk changed the Twitter algorithm to diminish those voices who would openly confront his network of supporters within Silicon Valley and beyond. If large follower Twitter accounts, like those of Musk himself, David Sacks, Vivek Ramaswamy and Musks’ promoted network of influencers begin blocking accounts on the platform, then the voices of those accounts get purposefully diminished by the algorithm.
Much like having a VIP section that can remove people from the audience, Musk is pushing opposing viewpoints into the background of the public square.

The timing of this is not accidental. The allies of Musk have been getting blasted by some rather large MAGA accounts over the H1B visa position of the Silicon Valley team. In response, Musk is pushing those opposition voices out of the conversation. This is another way for the newly aligned tech group to maintain influence over the policy of President-elect Donald Trump. In fact, I have been informed this is exactly the purpose.
President Trump previously announced that David Sacks would lead the tech, crypto and AI policy group. The team being assembled by Sacks all support extended use of H1B visas to bring in “high skilled” foreign workers. The Musk team do not want publicly visible opposition to impede their agenda.
To be fair, it makes sense for the tech network to do this because it’s akin to President Trump’s incoming chief of staff, Susie Wiles, saying she would not let what she defines as “clown car people” influence President Trump. It’s an issue of controlling a very directed policy initiative. However, the issues around immigration in general, and H1B visas specifically, are critically important to many of the long-term Trump supporters.
Elon Musk is building a bubble around Donald Trump to diminish opposition to the technocratic influence.
Mr Musk is shutting out, or at least making quiet, the core MAGA base while elevating a new group of arrivals that support Donald Trump.
The new group of influential technocrats, billionaires in the tech industry and platform control operators, do not hold the same ideological interests as the core MAGA base. This is part of the reason for the conflict over the past week on the subject of H1B workers.
Musk’s decision to essentially put a super moderator system in place that can control and silence the microphone on Twitter, is a specific move that represents what some, me included, have been warning about. This group of tech influence agents do not have the same priorities as expressed within the MAGA base of voters.
This is the same basic policy justification behind the “shadowbanning” and platform manipulation previously instituted by Twitter to silence opposition to the COVID-19 vaccination. Only this time it is Elon Musk instituting the algorithmic manipulation, to silence opposition to David Sacks, Vivek Ramaswamy, Sriram Krishnan, Peter Thiel, Chamath Palihapitiya, Jacob Helberg and eventually JD Vance.
If the technocrats control the visible public conversation that’s not supporting free speech. That’s manipulation and selective censorship of the audience. This approach is exactly how social media was being controlled in the era of COVID. The new boss motives are the same as the old boss motives, the policy behind it is the difference.

There were always going to be uncomfortable moments inside the tenuous MAGA alignment with the billionaire technocrats; however, this is not that. This is far beyond uncomfortable moments. Immigration and jobs for Americans first, are core issues for millions of Americans. The Silicon Valley response to controlling that conversation is not good.
Ultimately, as we are all witnessing, many of these people do not have our best interests at heart.

I work with H1B visa and it’s all about money and total control over a worker, as their Visa sponsorship can be pulled any time, and then they’re gone in 30 days.
This is an existential issue for a good percentage of MAGA, and these are middle class jobs that Americans absolutely can do.

Trump cannot make comments that say what actions will be taken. That would be the same as a promise. It would also be very, very foolish to make this some kind of fight with Musk personally. Musk doesn’t make laws so what would the fight be about. Musk is not an elected official any recommendations he makes in an advisory position if it even comes to that, are just recommendations.
I think MAGA attacks, or information if you will, against Musk needs to continue where ever possible just because the public needs to be informed. But we need to remember it’s our lawmakers who need to be the object of our real displeasure for not taking the correct actions. They are the ones we need to hold accountable and they are the ones we need to insist make the correct decisions. They are also the ones Trump needs to make any changes.

I wrote the above poem on the tenth anniversary of Tiananmen Square – June 4, 1999 – I have posted the poem on my Twitter account from time to time and I had a blog that I did every day for the 30th anniversary commencing in 2019 – which I called “The Crushing of Light” after the poem from 1999 – the blog consisted of basically going back to the newspapers at the time of the crackdown and what was being reported in the ensuing weeks and months after the crackdown.
I discontinued doing the blog back in 2023 as I was having great difficulty with my vision and could hardly read things even after getting a bigger monitor – thankfully, I found out in time that I had cataracts AND glaucoma but the doctor was able to successfully remove the cataracts, put in IOL’s (intraocular lens in each eye) and gave me drops initially for the glaucoma which actually went away, as the doctor said it would (after removing the cataracts which were causing my glaucoma) and I have “perfect pressure” now. I am digressing from my original point of the comment I was planning to make here, but if YOU are experiencing some problem, get to your ophthalmologist and get a proper check-up!
Back to my original reason for posting this comment: Twitter suspended my account in July 2024 and I do not yet know why. I have written to them numerous times and it just seems to go in a circle. I can’t imagine WHAT it was that I did which was a violation of their rules? Why NOW (in July 2024) . . . not anywhere in the time since I joined in June 2009?
The left hand at Twitter doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, I think and that to me constitutes a glitch. They continue to take my $16.00 per month as if I am a viable, account holder in good standing and yet I am still suspended. I understand if you think I am some kind of dummy to continue to try to find out what is going on there but I was so hopeful about the freedom of speech that Elon was championing in his “new” Twitter – X – and cannot grasp why I should be suspended.
With Elon’s actions right now about this algorithm to curb opposition to H1B visas, I wonder if my suspension was the result of an algorithm put in place that Elon doesn’t even know about. A rogue algorithm launched by some “HAL-9000” (“2001: A Space Odyssey” character) AI within the Twitter/X system and accounts have been getting suspended just like mine and perhaps it is a hidden problem that is not yet apparent?

They were useful for getting positive attention during the election cycle. Same with RFK Jr. I don’t know exactly what his motives are/were, but he was useful for getting people to look at President Trump in a different light than the MSM bs.
I trust President Trump. I think he knows his base and what they want, and he wants to deliver. I will wait and see how it goes. But I am not about to throw President Trump or SD under the bus after all I have learned from both of them since 2016.
Although it is sometimes painful to see people fighting with each other instead of with the people who are causing this division, everyone has the choice to say what they want. And with all due respect, I don’t think most of them are against President Trump. They are just not going to keep quiet about this visa thing or any other issue that threatens Americans’ job opportunities.

Four things to note about Musk:
1) Elon is starting to realize just how much he loved his now-tarnished rock star status among MAGA supporters and wants desperately to get it back.
2) Musk knows he blew it with his initial, over-the-top defense of H-1B. Folks with Asperger’s syndrome, even geniuses like Musk, have a penchant for flying off the handle, and that’s exactly what he did.
3)So Elon has changed his tune and now says he’s been saying all along that H-1B is broken and needs a major fix. (He hasn’t been saying this all along, but at least he’s saying it now.)
4)I don’t know why Musk’s latest plan for that H-1B fix isn’t reported more than it is because it makes sense on the face of it. Raise the minimum wage that employers like Google or Cognizant must pay any new H-1B applicant to a level that makes it cheaper to hire American.
We’ll have to see how this all sorts itself out.

“Easily fixed by raising the minimum salary significantly and adding a yearly cost for maintaining the H-1B, making it materially more expensive to hire from overseas than domestically,” he wrote. “I’ve been very clear that the program is broken and needs major reform.”
Who the **** elected Elon Musk to do any of this? Trump is completely silent while Elon fights with the base and Trump merrily retweets his American Dream bullsht.

Maybe Trump is allowing the issue to be prolonged so the fleshing out of a resolution is done via Musk with the ire directed towards him rather than being in the middle of it himself.
This allows congress to watch and see where the People are on the issue prior to Trump addressing it.
President-elect Trump is in charge, not Musk or Biden…but Trump is also handling Elon with kid gloves because of the 140 million Rocket Man contributed to his re-election campaign and also because Musk and Ramaswamy have been charged with fixing government fraud and waste…and that includes the fraud in H-1B. Stay cool and give this time to play out.
They’ll just say the H-1B is worth the extra $$ and shaft US some other way (You know they will).
The H-1B will have that much more to send back home.

The government of India is in talks with DC on “every level” to continue H-1B.

In America, the government doesn’t tell an employer who they can hire. No company in its right mind will pay MORE for an immigrant worker than an American worker but the problem with H-1B is that it allows a company to hire an immigrant for LESS than an American.

and furthermore, the “government” has prioritized what kinds of employees will allow the company to receive a RANGE of benefits: tax benefits, grants, access to resources, political access, health care, and the list goes on.
think of it this way: it is well reported just how many “services” are made to illegal migrants coming from SA. Of course 99.999 percent of these “services” are actually paid to the service “provider” and not the actually illegal migrant. It is a many many many billion dollar industry. There are companies, NGO’s, churches and over night LLC’s that are formed ONLY FOR THAT ONE SINGLE PURPOSE: to access these “services” and assist in the illegal migration of the non citizens.
it really IS the same thing with H1B…there are about a dozen of so companies that represent “providers” for about 72 percent of all H1B applications. That 72 percent is from India. However, unlike the illegals from Mexico comprising service related industries. (cooks, construction, AG, etc), the Indians and these companies are supplying a VAST number of workers in the high tech industries…but at wages far below what American high tech skiller workers can consider. this tilts the employment opportunities toward cheap labor…it dilutes that industry…there is little incentive for these high tech American citizens to go to university, and apply themselves. Cheap labor has taken the prize.
none of this would be possible without corruption and deceit. Big companies demand cheap labor. Big Government gives them handouts to make that happen. Effectively, it’s a racket, designed to help big tech balance sheet at the expense of good paying American citizen jobs.

Many believe that Musk is saying the grunt jobs currently being filled by H-1B will then go to Americans. He never says that. Musk knows those jobs will no longer exist. AI is perfectly suited for grunt coding and accounting. AI is not creative but can crunch 1’s, 0’s, and any other number with great efficiency.
Musk is not giving anything away with his H-1B reform proposal.

it could be that Elon was frustrated with the Biden/Harris admin and Elon was forced to hire DEI people for his jobs, we all saw how the government was forcing this DEI hire for 4 years. And if Elon did hire DEI people , they sucked, and not only sucked, BUT would sue Elon for critizing them ( and DOJ would go after Elon).
Elon couldn’t take another 4 years of DEI WOKE B.S. So Trump looked better to Elon than Kamala. What choice did Elon have.
I would recommend Trump listen to Elon and maybe ask Elon if he can start 2 year education program that would make future American’s fit in to the new work force. And NO DEI hires, and no government oversight of who he hires. Elon creates admissions examines for the brightest in America.

There are certainly problems to fix and agendas to curtail. But the wailing and gnashing of teeth over visas, X, Musk/Vivek is beyond misguided imo. There is zero doubt that Musk is an absolute genius. Does that make him perfect? No. Far from it. I’d be surprised if Trump doesn’t know and even more surprised if he does nothing about this. I was skeptical about Vance, Elon and Vivek. Not anymore. These people need to be exposed. It’s up to MAGA to expose them. We need to communicate with voices outside of X. Bannon and others could help us expose them.

The idea of these visas is great. The actuality is a major anti-MAGA scam. The majority of these immigrants are merely the latest version of indentured labor, which itself evolved from direct slavery.
Elon spent an inordinate amount of time at Mar-A-Lago, SS needs to de bug the place. There must be spyware all over the place including the robotic dogs he has guarding the grounds.

Something which to my knowledge Trump has never addressed but which is critical to MAGA, is laying out a coherent and comprehensive strategy for winding back every single aspect of the information war that is being waged in every country in the Western world but especially in America.
The public attitudes in every single Western nation are constructed on a sea of lies. About everything. About Covid, about climate change, about the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, about trans, about mass shootings. You name it, it’s a pack of lies from start to finish.
This has to stop if MAGA is ever going to succeed long term: i.e. persist after Trump leaves office. It is the root cause of the power bases of all the groups that are attacking not just America but Western civilisation in general.
I frankly don’t understand why Trump has been silent on this issue, because in America, it’s incredibly simple to solve, because in America, unique amongst Western nations, you have the Constitution as your legal foundation and within your Constitution you have the First Amendment which directly provides an effective legal means to deal with this sea of lies. All Trump has to do is to come up with a way to have the legal system enforce what is already there, and you cannot have things like this censorship Musk has just implemented without Musk and his executives in Twitter risking whatever legal penalties Trump’s plan comes up with for First Amendment infractions.
Another thing Trump could do on day one as part of his information warfare deconstruction plan, is to rescind Obamas’s EO which is still in place, which allows media organisations to legally publish propaganda. Again, this is simple to solve. All you have to do is to use the FCC broadcast licenses as a weapon against any media news organisation that publishes propaganda, and pass a law that provides for imprisonment of media executives and huge fines: e.g. a million dollars for each instance in each location that it is broadcast, and the propaganda on everything from Ukraine to climate change to immigration will immediately cease.
Most people don’t seem to understand just how deadly and effective this information warfare is, in facilitating the plans of the evil people who are deconstructing our Western civilisation. And given how easy it is to stop it in its tracks, I just don’t get why Trump didn’t make it a central plank of his campaign, because once you finger propaganda as propaganda, people immediately see it as lies, and it immediately loses its effect. And all you have to do is point at it and explain why it is a tissue of lies, and it falls apart like a paper bag, because that’s all it ever was.
