Those who followed the details of the U.S, Mexico and Canada trade agreement, can easily see how Chrystia Freeland was never going to be the right person for Canada to have as Finance Minister while they attempt to navigate President Trump’s economic policy again.
In fact, I would not be surprised if someone in Mar-a-Lago told Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau he needed to ice her out if Trudeau wanted to stand a chance of a relationship with Donald Trump. As many people noted during her gleeful confiscation of funds from the trucker protests, Deputy Prime Minister/Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is a conniving, scheming, and all-around nasty piece of work.
In a posture akin to that sideways stare from Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction (“I’m not going to be ignored, Justin”) today turned some of that internal spite toward her boss, Justin Trudeau.

Yep, apparently the Canadian Trade Team walking toward Team America-First just wasn’t going to work again. Or, put more accurately, no one around Trump-47 has time for the childish nonsense that Freeland brings with her everywhere. lolol

I notice that there is not one mention of the fact that President Trump said those tariffs would be imposed IF repeat IF Canada failed to beef up it’s border security and did nothing about the fentenal, human trafficing and illegals entering the USA from Canada. The CBC news (Truedope has paid them millions) spent the first 1/2 hour chest beating about the tariffs without once mentioning the ties to Canada’s border policies. Ontario’s Doug Ford (just as hated ) then started beating his own chest about his own tough stance rather than offer any solutions. The Canadiand press and many of the politicians are just as corrupt as their American counterparts – just as paid off but a bit more secretive about it. Americans will have a tough time sweeping out their own trash without worrying about Canada. And we will be busy sweeping out our own trash as well. At least Freeland is a start.
I think she was planning to run for Prime Minister but after Trump’s smackdown she might have second thoughts.

Trudeau may not step down, but if he does, the plan is to somehow parachute Mark Carney in as the interim Prime Minister until an election is held in the fall if 2025.
