Every estimate I have ever seen says, even now, after the Obama years and Biden years of trying to filter the troops of all Patriots, at least 50% of the troops will not follow that order. Giving that order will start the civil war, on the military bases. It will be between those who will follow the order and those who won’t.
Below the rank of Colonel, they will probably find most of their officers rebeling.

I am not in direct touch anymore with anyone currently in the military, but what you say is also my impression, from the kind of people I see going into the military. They may be naive enough to think this is the same US military that won WWII, but that same naivete means their reaction if told to fire on fellow Americans would be to (rightly) conclude the real enemy is the one who gave that order. At worst I think it would be a bunch of very confused and upset soldiers, not much use to either side.
We can’t rule out U.N. “Peacekeepers” intervening on U.S. soil at the request of a ( I cant say it ) an administration, one other than President Trump’s.

I think the concern is ( or should be? ) that this new directive and the timing of it on 9/27! ( and I cannot stress the potential significance of the Strong Cities Network either that I’ve been railing about for nearly ten years ) paves the way for armed actions against citizenry on U.S. soil and I can easily imagine a “shoot first, adjudicate second” scenario.

I believe the reason for Kamala’s rehearsed non-answers is that she doesn’t want to publicly state any position. For example, her vocal anti-fracking position has come back to haunt her. She stubbornly refuses to admit to any policy position, good or bad, so that she can later do what she wants and not be called a liar. In this interview, the closest she came was “I am going to follow the law”. She is a stupid person; but that is not the cause of her non-answers. That is a calculated strategy.
