Inasmuch as I want to value RFK Jr’s positions on the core issues of freedom vs totalitarianism, I find myself looking at his presentations with great suspicion.
Trust when lost, increases cynicism. Unfortunately, too few people know how to compartmentalize cynicism and simultaneously trust their instincts which support it. [BACKGROUND]
We have been saying for many years that we are in an abusive relationship with government. This battered conservative syndrome truly represents the dynamic at the heart of our current conflict.
When facing our adversaries, division becomes a necessary dynamic to accept. Yet simultaneously, division is the core issue all of freedom’s adversaries’ exploit. It truly is a challenging dynamic to overcome.
Here we stand, looking at a Robert F Kennedy Jr, a Democrat saying the only way for him (and his policies) to enter the White House, is if everyone votes for Donald Trump. I find the framework of this argument very suspicious, in part because I look at how the opposition has played this game for years.
We have suffered greatly in this game of professional Republican maneuvering. Additionally, as we elevate our awakening, the professionals who weaponize patriotism against our interests also raise their influence operations. This leads to a dynamic where our rightly placed distrust is leveraged as another point of division.
In the world of Lee Atwater, Karl Rove and Alex Castellanos, the ploy to snuggle up close to the adversary then later release their Brutus operation has been repeated often. Yet if we do not open ourselves to this tenuous vulnerability, we also run a risk.
I know I am not alone in feeling trepidation. Every move made by the collective Ron DeSantis, RFK Jr and Elon Musk group carries a potential dual scenario, one good and one bad: each possibility dependent on the intention of the crew behind them.
It was exactly this same type of scenario that led to the Bill Barr 50/50 conversations. Those debates took place on these very pages as well as within hundreds of conversations I had in 2019 and 2020.
Each move and expression by Attorney General Bill Barr could be looked upon favorably or unfavorably depending on the prism used to review it. After years of ‘battered conservative’ experience, I refused to grant Barr any benefit of doubt. We all saw how that turned out. The Bill Barr/DC cynics were correct. AG Barr was the institutional insurance policy for the DOJ and FBI to remain unscathed by the presence of President Trump.
JFK Jr feels like a replay of that debate. On one hand Kennedy holds the potential to be a great benefit. On the other hand, he is well positioned to hold the sheath of Brutus beneath his cloak…. Potentially triggering when Judge Merchan in New York acts against president-elect Trump.

That’s the uncomfortable feeling I get also, a kind of arrogance and entitlement from him, and I even have sensed a kind of gritted-teeth tolerance by RFK Jr when in President Donald Trump’s presence, as if he not even concerned how he may look to other people. Is that a sort of reassurance to the other side?
I do not like that feeling, because part of me wants him to have success in his political life as I sympathize with him, as I am sure we all do, for what his family has gone through. I want so much to be wrong about my feelings of uneasiness, when I see him speak or read his words, I even try to talk myself out of my doubts about him, but somehow they remain.
Perhaps start using The Serenity Prayer to rid yourself of these feels rather than trying to do it yourself?

At this point, I trust RFK as much as I do anybody else in Congress or the Senate. For the past 3 1/2 years they have done nothing but blow a bunch of air up everybody’s ass. They have ALL been a bunch of “I’m gonna’s” and haven’t done a damn thing! At least RFK is openly critical and honest about his opinions.
It isn’t the ones he’s open and honest about, it’s the hidden agenda that has me worried. Kennedys used to be very influential in the DNC but then the Clintons came along and pretty much shoved them to the side followed later by the Obama wing which pretty much put the Kennedys out in the Ort cloud. RFK Jr. wants to be back in political power. And I doubt that he has any limits to achieving that end.
If we view the RNC/DNC dynamic as just a power struggle between political families whose only career is politics then the Bushes, the Clintons, the Obama’s and the Kennedy’s are akin to the Italian families that collectively make up the political mob. Viewed through this lens RFK Jr’s play to side with Trump is his way to re-assert power and control within the Political Mob families on behalf of the Kennedy’s.

I watched the video and think it’s a great endorsement of Trump and a call for his supporters to recognize all that is at stake. His three priorities remain the same: free speech, ending war, and stopping the massive harm being done to children by the government-pharma cabal. He can help make this election too big to steal.
I think people commenting here are worried about RFKJr abusing any position in a Trump Admin. It’s hard to forget the Kennedy family history but those violent events took place a long time ago. Even JFKJr didn’t make it into the 21st century. Bobby is SEVENTY years old, really in the same generation as Donald Trump, and they probably share a world view dating from their youth which would make them see eye-to-eye on many important things. Any RFK Jr supporters who watch this and DON’T vote for Trump (or vote for Bobby where he’s still on the ballot) were never really his supporters to begin with. And I think the vast majority of them will feel the same way. So yeah… this was a great, important statement that needs to be spread far and wide.
Everyone that Trump has entrusted with ultimate power to do something monumental within their wheelhouse ,something to benefit all of us has disappointed, and stabbed Trump in the back.

Sundance, I feel your pain. However we should trust but verify. Give people the leeway to convict themselves with their own words and actions. At this point, RFKjr has been put into a corner of either staying true to his base or losing them. This is the other road that Bernie could have taken if he wasn’t a uniparty pawn.
I think it is also important to note that Trump has negotiated a specific area, health, that RFKjr will have to focus on.
Furthermore, in looking at the top we sometimes forget that the ground level is just as important.
I would accept an uneasy deal with him and some others if it clears the path for a transformational election for local governments across the country and a solidly MAGA House and Senate.

It will continue to be exhausting for people as long as there remains a purity test for joining our movement. I think its possible this crowd — Vance, Musk, Vivek, Tulsi, etc., and now RFK and their fellow travelers and controllers lurking in the shadows — are thinking they are more likely to secure power by infiltrating a Trump administration. Honestly I also think that is their best bet for power / money.
They certainly can help get Trump votes now and possibly get Trump enough to win. I’m hoping their compatriots in the IC and silicon valley will lend an assist by reducing vote fraud via software manipulation and allowing Trump supporters to speak on social media.
