Inasmuch as I want to value RFK Jr’s positions on the core issues of freedom vs totalitarianism, I find myself looking at his presentations with great suspicion.
Trust when lost, increases cynicism. Unfortunately, too few people know how to compartmentalize cynicism and simultaneously trust their instincts which support it. [BACKGROUND]
We have been saying for many years that we are in an abusive relationship with government. This battered conservative syndrome truly represents the dynamic at the heart of our current conflict.
When facing our adversaries, division becomes a necessary dynamic to accept. Yet simultaneously, division is the core issue all of freedom’s adversaries’ exploit. It truly is a challenging dynamic to overcome.
Here we stand, looking at a Robert F Kennedy Jr, a Democrat saying the only way for him (and his policies) to enter the White House, is if everyone votes for Donald Trump. I find the framework of this argument very suspicious, in part because I look at how the opposition has played this game for years.
We have suffered greatly in this game of professional Republican maneuvering. Additionally, as we elevate our awakening, the professionals who weaponize patriotism against our interests also raise their influence operations. This leads to a dynamic where our rightly placed distrust is leveraged as another point of division.
In the world of Lee Atwater, Karl Rove and Alex Castellanos, the ploy to snuggle up close to the adversary then later release their Brutus operation has been repeated often. Yet if we do not open ourselves to this tenuous vulnerability, we also run a risk.
I know I am not alone in feeling trepidation. Every move made by the collective Ron DeSantis, RFK Jr and Elon Musk group carries a potential dual scenario, one good and one bad: each possibility dependent on the intention of the crew behind them.
It was exactly this same type of scenario that led to the Bill Barr 50/50 conversations. Those debates took place on these very pages as well as within hundreds of conversations I had in 2019 and 2020.
Each move and expression by Attorney General Bill Barr could be looked upon favorably or unfavorably depending on the prism used to review it. After years of ‘battered conservative’ experience, I refused to grant Barr any benefit of doubt. We all saw how that turned out. The Bill Barr/DC cynics were correct. AG Barr was the institutional insurance policy for the DOJ and FBI to remain unscathed by the presence of President Trump.
JFK Jr feels like a replay of that debate. On one hand Kennedy holds the potential to be a great benefit. On the other hand, he is well positioned to hold the sheath of Brutus beneath his cloak…. Potentially triggering when Judge Merchan in New York acts against president-elect Trump.
Being MAGA in 2024 feels like a cat walking past a group of Haitians. It’s exhausting.

You see, the Bush Campaign had to distance themselves from Lee Atwater . . . Lee Atwater got Bush elected in 1988 and Bush as President was purportedly spearheading a “kinder, gentler” Republicanism and his “Thousand Points of Light” and “New World Order” and “We won the Cold War” bullshit. Right. So you can’t have Lee Atwater out there asking forgiveness with a truly repentant heart for his various campaign ploys over the years such as alluding to one opposition candidate having been “hooked up to jumper cables”.
I had thought Mary Matalin must have the hots for James Carville so badly that she threw the fight, she took a dive, she played possum while the referee was counting her out on the mat and the bell rang.
How could Mary Matalin want to be with someone who helped install the Clinton Machine?
When Mary Matalin was seen joining the new George W. Bush administration in 2001, that was a real mystery to me . . . why would George W. Bush want to have HER on board when she did such a lousy job for his Dad who should have won in 1992? Wasn’t George W. Bush really mad at Ann Richards for making fun of his precious Pop with that line about being “born with a silver foot in his mouth”? Part of the “turnaround” that brought George W. Bush to the national stage was beating out Ann Richards as governor of Texas. So if he hated Ann Richards so much, how could he stand to have Mary Matalin around? That has never added up for me.
Atwater was an expert at bringing the dirt into dirty politics while turning campaigns into more of a sporting event. Nobody would ever have a need to assassinate Lee, as he always played his games for one of the Deep State’s “approved” teams. He was a good earner too, as he brought money in the form of campaign donations into the arena.

I don’t have a crystal ball but I do have a pretty good spidey sense and it doesn’t trigger with RFK Jr and his instruction to NOT vote for him in spite of remaining on the ballot in some states but to vote for TRUMP. He said “it” was reprehensible after he said “what Trump did was bad, very bad”. “It” given the context and how it landed in that group of words suggests it is just as easily “January 6” that he referred to as “reprehensible”. OR he could have been referencing DJT.
It is not 100% clear. But, he did not utter the words that “President Trump was reprehensible”. It’s minutia admittedly, but words and where they land contextually in conversation(s) matter.

There are some differences. First, Trump came into the WH in 2016 as a political newbie. That’s not the case now. And, by the way, in good part we, Trump’s supporters, also have learned a lot.
Second, RFKJr. is going to be placed only where his agenda is in accord with MAGA; he’s not going to be head of the DOJ. And finally, he most likely will be in a position that is within the complete control of President Trump.
I suspect that this video at least in part has been prompted by ballot on/off shenanigans.

The Democrats have repeatedly used the Muslin practice of Taqiyya (“a precautionary dissimulation or denial of religious belief and practice. Generally, taqiyya is the action of committing a sinful act for a pious goal. Hiding one’s beliefs has been practiced since early days of Islam”)
The one point in RFK’s favor is that he has been consistently noting (out loud) his disagreement with Trump on “some” of his policy advocacies, and that he is joining PDJT in order to accomplish three primary objectives that PDJT also advocates and had asked RFK to join the administration to focus upon.
But the trickery from the Uniparty comes significantly from their careful use of words that seemed to support the MAGA conservative goals but that were also used to conceal a double meaning that was directly against MAGA goals.
IOW, pretending to be MAGA is a trick, but RFK has not pretended so far; he has stated his reasons to join PDJT. But this statement about getting into the White House sends off mental red flags everywhere.

I am pretty sure that’s exactly what RFK Jr. WANTS us to infer from his statement, but my point is that we have been fooled far too many times in the past by slick politicians saying what we want & like to hear but afterwards we watched in dismay as they actually acted using a different interpretation…
Is there some reliable source corroboration to support your narrow inference of RFK’s statement being “plain talk” (no wiggle room for him to be playing a role to gain access to Administration inside information?)
Sundance makes a valid point in his article: We’ve been betrayed too often to take a former anti-Trump Democrat / Independent politician’s words at face value. I am ready to accept RFK Jr.’s offer of helping to fix the problems in the 3 areas about which he and Pres. Trump reportedly agree.
Up to this statement I have been openly optimistic about RFK Jr’s joining the Trump Admin. to focus on the three areas that he has historical interest and an inclination to fix in a manner most MAGA Deplorables would approve. I remain optimistic, but am hoping he clarifies this in the near future because otherwise it is a potentially worrisome statement.

I thought his plan in the other 40 states by him staying on the ballot was to take away votes from the dems. That plan seemed advantageous. This new one not so much.

We can only guess what the substance of JFK, Jr.’s conversations with Trump actually was. Hopefully their conversations included frank discussions about contingencies, like Merchan’s gambit, and the establishment of clear expectations about what JFK, Jr. will or will not do under the circumstances. Time will tell . . .
Way more than RFK – I’m worried about the cheating. I think it will be a miracle if we get DJT into the WH.
I try to maintain some sort of consistency in judging people. For me that means Kennedy is a nut case from a political dynasty filled with them and a charlatan with a law degree bent on saving the world with shoddy but well funded science. Climate change is the litmus test. RFK fails miserably. Don’t need him. Don’t want him.

What RFKJ says is absolutely true. If PDJT is not elected POTUS, then RFKJ has no chance of being heard regarding the follies and worse related to Big Pharma and the FDA.

What RFK Jr is telling his audiences, which include many Trump hesitant and Trump hostile voters, is true and because what he’s saying is true, what he’s saying offers those voters powerfully persuasive reasons to vote for President Trump despite those feelings.

I always thought the big applause for him at the Turning Point event was not because he’s so great but because he did the right thing and supported President Trump.

The family history with Intelligence(s), the Mob and Bloodline families is enough to sow the seeds of doubt deeply for me.
When President Trump stated that Mr. Kennedy is going to join his transition team, I had to take a deep breath.
Then I remembered our President’s favorite book, The Art of War, Sun Tzu is credited with “Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer.” So, to sleep better, I’m going to go with that.
Is it not possible that some of the real string-pullers on both sides of the establishment vulture have thought it through and come to the conclusion that defeating Trump could very well lead to the permanent end of the business-as-usual big league political game.
A game where, historically, everybody wins sometime and everybody loses sometime but everybody gets paid more or less and lives to fight another day.
But what if the most pragmatic of the opposing traditional forces calculate that if Trump fails then the evil forces that are really behind the radical left minority will once and for all clear almost all the players off of the board, save the few real powers behind the coup and declare “game over” but this time it’s forevever?
In other words, is it conceivable that those who control both sides of the traditional Game of Thrones realize that a win for the radical slime behind the current despicable choice that started before BHO is anathema to both traditional players? And might they also have quietly decided to make sure that taking a dive is the only rational choice?
Might that help explain a bit of the current weirdness?
And it’s important to keep in mind that this might be due to the factions in the IC, even though we may or may not know which ones.

I read all of RFK Jr’s statements as intending to appeal primarily to his voters who would not otherwise vote for Trump. They are the only voters he knows he needs to convert, by convincing them that a win for Trump is a win for the things on which they/he and Trump/MAGA are in agreement. Whatever compromises are necessary on both sides, they both know the deal.
One thing I know, Sundance has a pretty good batting average, and didn’t earn it taking hedged positions. Two, I can’t control anything beyond myself voting. I hope the Trump team knows better this time around than to let the Scaramuccis and Omarosas of the world into the orbit.
