There’s a lot of positive commentary about this judicial decision; however, my hopium account balance is overdrawn. Let me present a factual angle of how the Deep State may use this. FYI if you have watched the corruption unfolding for the past few years, you will understand this is not doomerism; it’s pragmatic caution.
There is an argument to be made that Merchan, who has already shown stunningly political bias against President Trump, will operate only on the political LAWFARE interests of those who support him, regardless of consequence.
Judge Merchan is a rogue lawfare element, do not try to convince me he is bound by any legal or judicial limitations.
If you accept the possibility of political LAWFARE, then consider Judge Merchan may be positioned as an insurance policy against President Donald Trump taking office. The scenario would be President Trump winning the election (too big to rig) and then finding himself being sentenced to prison after his victory.
Not only would this scenario play into the hands of those who promise to defeat Trump even in victory, it would also create constitutional crisis, upend the political system and likely trigger something akin to a civil war – exactly what the IC/Deep State would relish.
Also, under this scenario those Sea Island folks advising RFK Jr and Ron DeSantis might have something other than altruism behind their current endorsement status, just sayin’. Don’t ever underestimate the scheming, conniving efforts of these crews.
NEW YORK — Donald Trump’s sentencing for his criminal conviction in Manhattan will be delayed until after Election Day, a judge ruled Friday, handing the former president a significant victory that will leave voters in the dark about his possible punishment, including a potential prison sentence, as they head to the polls.

I’m fairly confident a higher authority would intervene if they tried to imprison him after the election if he won. There’s zero reason he should be in prison pending appeal even though he will be sworn into office in January (maybe he could get a furlough to attend?). It wasn’t a violent crime, he isn’t going anywhere. But until he’s sentenced he can’t appeal the conviction. He needs to get that done so that this persecution can be exposed for the travesty that it is

That is why no DA in NYC ever previously prosecuted a property owner for maximizing the value of their real estate property for loan equity purposes.
That is why this entire case violates – in the extreme – PDJT’s equal justice rights under the Constitution.
There was no crime charged in the Letitia James civil action against Trump for allegedly overstating the value of Trump Organization assets. James and Judge Engoron are completely ignorant, or pretend to be ignorant, of federal and state banking regulations involving commercial loans with real estate collateral. After the 2008 subprime mortgage bubble bursting, the federal regulators increased regulation over valuation of real estate assets used as collateral and credit reporting agencies. Real Estate appraisers were subject to licensing requirements and federally insured regulators had to obtain documented appraisals of property taken as collateral.
Now, the regulation did not eliminate all risk. The problem with governments in this area is there is a difference between VALUE and PRICE. Most appraisals consider documented sales prices of real estate that is “Similar to” the real estate being used for collateral on a loan to indicate the VALUE of the property as long as there is a “Forced Sale” factor included, such as 20% of the estimated resale “value.” If similar properties sold for $150,000, a “forced sale value” might be 75-80 percent of that value. “Insured values” and “Tax Assessed Values” are not included in these government regulations. In other words, Mar-a-Lago would not be worth $18 million tax assessment value, but far more.
The Merchan case is the Stormy Daniels hush money case. No federal authority wanted to take that case up, particularly the Federal Elections Commission, one of whose officials should have appeared to testify what Trump did was not considered a violation of election law, but Merchan claimed his testimony would not be relevant, which was hogwash. This was one of many “Reversible Errors” which Merchan didn’t mind committing even if it would mean reversal of his guilty verdict by higher courts.
There was no crime. They made it all up.

This State court entertained Federal charges, which a State court is not allowed to do. The SCOTUS should be immediately enjoined to declare this fact. Only Federal prosecutors can do this, and they didn’t.
Let’s hope the SCOTUS doesn’t betray him like they did last then, though I doubt it. The deep state wants a civil war so they can enact unrestrained tyranny. I bet you WWIII will follow soon after.

This case is going to be appealed to higher courts and based on how it was handled should be overturned. Could it be Merchan is starting to feel the pressure of losing his place on the bench? Is he now trying to backtrack and look unbias for fear of the DOJ coming for him, if Trump is elected?

Steely Dan, “Doctor Wu), I would have to think that it’s becoming clear to some bad actors that enough of them have been identified, and that President Trump has become one of those few presidents with a deeply loyal following, much like Reagan, that they can’t do any more attempts, after the “miss,” or the resulting home-grown tsunami would level their houses to the foundations, Isreali-style. Please Sundance, I know you are a Christian and a loyal patriot who tells us the truth. But lately, some of your messages get me depressed at a time when I’m doing my best to remain positive. I’m praying more and meditating. We must pray with faith that God is on our side and, as we have already seen, protects President Trump. I don’t believe it will come to a civil war but, if it is, I will do my best to join the movement and fight, fight, fight. I once lived under a communist regime. NEVER AGAIN!
I believe we should know the magnitude of what we face. 6 Dec is the limiting date by which states must submit “certificates of ascertainment” to DC stating who the electors are for the presidential election which for 2024 is on 15 Dec. That of course is -after- this proposed sentencing date.

If Trump wins he should ignore that bunch all together. How will they arrest him? Send his own DOJ after him? If I were Trump I would have that judge disbarred and the total of Lawfare dismantled and any and all illegalities they could dig up would be used to put them behind bars for a few years.

He can only pardon federal convictions and this is a state charge. POTUS can not pardon state convictions, only the governor of the state can do that. It’s why they brought both state and federal charges. The Georgia debacle with Fani is another state charge that couldn’t be pardoned by POTUS.
