We have often said the American people are in an abusive relationship with our government; meaning the priorities and important policies of the majority of Americans (specifically immigration, economic nationalism, Ukraine spending, and the core elements that have created the Trump/RFK Jr coalition), are not represented in the legislative outcomes of a UniParty congress.
In essence, the USA government, both parties, are deaf to the voices of American citizens. This is stunningly visible around the issue of congress using U.S taxpayer funds to support the Ukraine government and the Ukraine budget.
However, this is not just an American problem. We can see the same disconnect in Canada, Australia, the U.K. and parts of the EU including France and more recently, Germany.
In the Eastern German elections held Sunday, the AfD party (Alternate for Deutschland) won resounding victories. Essentially, the center-left party and the UniParty coalition, was disregarded. The election was won by pragmatic nationalists on the key issues of immigration, the economy and Ukraine policy.
(Wall Street Journal) […] Projections by public broadcaster ZDF showed the AfD getting around 33.4% of the votes in Thuringia and 31.4% in Saxony, with Scholz’s center-left SPD scoring under 8% in both states, with its two coalition partners trailing it. (more)
In response there is an almost laughable reactive article in Politico, where they push the same favored MSM narrative of “far right, Nazis, surging again just like 1945,” etc. etc. blah, blah, blah. Laughably, they use language like, “The far-right Alternative for Germany just keeps rising despite efforts to stop it.”… I mean, seriously; have you ever seen a more perfect encapsulation of the disconnect.
In order for the professional political leftists to continue what they do best, which is to destroy everything, they must pretend not to know things. In this example the entire media ecosphere pretends not to know that what they are seeing happen in all of these elections is a reaction to globalism being pushed by the governing body, while the citizens are against it.
In the USA you might say, Donald Trump is not the cause of the Republican party problems, he is our direct response to it. In Germany you can say the rise of the AfD is not the cause of the government problem, it is the citizens response to the problem they have with government.
BERLIN — Germany’s far right is here — and it’s here to stay.
The Alternative for Germany (AfD) on Sunday scored a stunning win in an eastern German state election, amid rising voter discontent at Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s center-left national government.
The AfD’s victory in Thuringia and strong second place in Saxony has prompted a new round of soul searching in Berlin, a year out from national elections which could see EU powerhouse Germany tilt to the right.
“Our country cannot and must not get used to this,” Scholz told Reuters after the results came in. “The AfD is damaging Germany. It is weakening the economy, dividing society and ruining our country’s reputation.”
In Thuringia, the AfD — which has been classified as extremist in some German states — gained a clear victory with nearly 33 percent of the vote. In the more populous state of Saxony, the center-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU) eked out a victory with around 32 percent of the vote, with the AfD trailing close behind.
[…] Germany’s mainstream leaders have made a concerted effort to stop the rise of the AfD by warning voters of the party’s growing extremism, with some leaders even calling it a Nazi party.
State-level domestic intelligence authorities have classified the local branches of the party in both Saxony and Thuringia as extremist organizations aiming to undermine German democracy. Earlier this year, Saskia Esken, the co-chief of the center-left Social Democratic Party (SPD), came out in favor of discussing a ban of the AfD — if only, as she put it, to “shake voters” out of their complacency. (read more)
You can just as easily replace “German far-right” with the USA version of “MAGA Republicans” and get the exact same scenario.
Both the AfD in Germany and the MAGA movement in the USA labeled as “domestic extremists” simply for wanting controls of immigration policy, sensible energy policy and a stopping of the insufferable war effort in Ukraine.
Apparently, the German government is shocked, SHOCKED, and didn’t see this coming. Yet, again, western media play along and pretend not to know things….

Salty left tears incoming.
Partnering with Germany’s far-left pro-Putin party could keep AfD out
German parties attempting to block the far-Right AfD from power may have to partner with a Russia-friendly party that blames Nato for the war in Ukraine.
Yes indeed, nim…those coalitions so necessary in countries with parliamentary governments.
Sometimes it works for tyrants, like Trudeau and like Donald Tusk in Poland whose party lost the popular vote but who formed an alliance with marginal parties to become Prime Minister.
I fear this is the mess of potage which now faces the German politicos who have destroyed their country and turned it over to those whose fondest wish is to implement Sharia Law and to occupy all positions of power.
Watching with interest but little expectation that the AfD celebration of their victories will be anything but short lived.
I hope I’m wrong.
Incidentally, I noticed the Daily Mail’s description of the AfD has morphed overnight from “far-” to “hard-right”.
Whatever that means…
The daily by mail is now a rag. Look at their headlines. It’s not real news. It’s Hollywood and the royals..
I just browse it for the scantily clad girls in the right column
what can I say? I’m a man
ME TOO!
I 2nd THAT emotion !
Got a Link on that?
Yes. but I go there cause they are the first with the News. I always check there first to find out what the news cycle will be about.
Sounds like a nuance, but….Editors possibly decided that hard (solid, unmovable..) is more meaningful to their readers than “far” (undefined distance from….). The editor may have realized that the AfD isn’t as wildly far rightwing as it is firmly (hard) ensconced in solid center right policies…
I wish I could give them the benefit of the doubt….alas….the Mail is a hyperbolic tabloid, GB.
They meant it as a damning slur.
Their editors are not the brightest.
They’ll be on to Double-Plus-Un-Good soon enough.
Ha!!
Ah, you are most likely spot-on, Bets.
I have noticed that professional acumen in the UK of late has gone to the
dogscatsmiceratscockroaches ….Shocking in the extreme. And I’ve gotten to the point where I do not shock easily.
Just wonder if this young generation of Germans will show courage that will ignite some here. Let’s hope so. We always liked to call the french cowardly but we may be the most cowardly of all. And yes it may well be the young men of the south …raised by alpha men ….that either try and save the country or lead it to another break up. I for one….as soon as the cheat this next election am ready for a divorce.
Fingers crossed that Canada follows suit.
I believe we will…we are fortunate in one respect in that we do not have those half dozen or so regions that the U.S.A. does
That have systematically destroyed any semblance election integrity.
Here in British Columbia our two centre like parties have formed an alliance that will likely unseat our Provincial communist rulers.
Cheers!
Hope so for you, Deke!
👍
I’ll feel more like saying ‘cheers’ when Trudeau and Eby are out. Remember there are such things as crooked elections.
Donald Trump is not the cause of the Republican party problems, he is our direct SOLUTION to it.”
The Nazis were Leftists. Hitler and Goebbels used to joke that if not for the Jewish problem, they were pretty similar to Stalin’s Russia.
I suspect that since FDR was supplying Russia, it was acceptable to call the Nazi’s right wing, but that should have stopped right after the war.
Not meaning to come across as contrary. But the Nazi left vs right misses the mark because it tries to assign them to conservatives as right wing.
Here is the Governance Spectrum:
Dictatorship: Absolute power is held by a single leader or a small group, with maximum government control over all aspects of life.
Oligarchy: A small group of elites holds significant power, often controlling government and the economy, with limited public participation.
Authoritarianism: Power is concentrated in a leader or small group, with strict control over political freedoms and limited checks on power.
Constitutional Republic: Government is based on a constitution that limits power, with elected representatives who govern on behalf of the people, incorporating democratic principles like voting, checks and balances, and individual rights.
Democracy: Government involvement exists but is balanced by laws, elections, and public participation, with power distributed among elected representatives.
Libertarianism: Minimal government intervention in personal and economic matters, with a strong emphasis on individual freedoms.
Anarchy: Complete absence of government or authoritative control, where people self-govern without formal structures.
Democracy: Majority rules. Sure you can elect your 40% to government, they just don’t have any power the 60% doesn’t allow them. THIS is why Demonrats say “Our Democracy”, OUR being the operative word. It also explains the open borders, pathways to citizenship (voting rights) and the destruction of any obstacles to said power.
Thus allowing a flopping over Constitutional Republic and getting straight to Authoritarianism/Oligarchy.
Plain as day.
You can place it close to anarchy or oligarchy. I am always torn.
The last thing they want is anarchy. Except in so far as that is used as a tool to create chaos so the masses clamor for “protection”. See Patriot Act, see Covid restrictions….
Anarchy is not chaos. It is the absence of central power. Local government amongst consenting people can be a successful anarchy.
Ben Franklin said democracy is two wolves and a lamb deciding on the lunch menu, and liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.
THIS is why Demonrats say “Our Democracy”, OUR being the operative word
When Demonrats say “Our Democracy”,
… they don’t mean OUR as in “we Americans”
… they mean OUR as in “we Democrats”
Exactly, Our is a word conveying ownership.
ouradjectiveär, ˈau̇(-ə)r
: of or relating to us or ourselves or ourself especially as possessors or possessor, agents or agent, or objects or object of an action
our throne
our actions
our being chosen
There’s a simpler way to put it.
The continuum is freedom versus government.
More government is to the left: socialism, fascism, corporatism, oligarchs, communism, democrats, centralism, our democracy, bolshevism, religious hierarchical overlords. Less government is to the right: liberty, freedom, self government, federalism.
Suggested reading: “Liberal Fascism” by Jonah Goldberg. First book I know of that correctly placed nazism at the far lefthand end of the political spectrum, reminding us that the nazis were the national socialist party.
Likely a good read, however my closed mind will not allow me to even glance at one word the P.O.S. Goldberg writes.
Is he not a President Trump hater.
Cheers!
It was written decades ago. Before TDS. But I gotcha.
I read it years ago. If memory serves, the book had a red jacket and featured a Hitler mustache. Yes. It was a good read.
I believe it had a smiley face with a Hitler mustache. This was back when Jonah hadn’t gone over to the dark side, before our amazing Donald J. Trump ran for president.
Yes, so true. They are both totalitarian regimes when in power. They are not opposites on some imaginary scale. They are equally ruthless, repressive and controlling. The opposite of totalitarianism is FREEDOM.
Each House Representative has roughly 750,000 constituents. Is “your” rep gonna listen to you, when they briefly look up from their fund-raising phone calls?
In contrast, you can get in the face of your local and State government representatives fairly easily. That’s why I believe We The People need to defund the Federal government by canceling Federal Income tax. We need to eliminate all departments and functions not enumerated in the Constitution. Let the States tax, run and regulate themselves.
Sounds good, but cash flows to state officials too. You’d have to force them to accept (limited sums of) cash only from registered voters of their district, and no political party funding to them allowed.
That’d put stenographic media in charge, unfortunately, at least for those still paying attention to that.
Civic groups might arise. Shoe leather campaigning might become fashionable again. Somehow, the system of bought politicians has to be curtailed.
Wendy Rogers it a member of the Az. legislature, House not Senate.
She campaigned by going door to door, to EVERY ONE of her Constituents, every single one.
Old School, indeed!
She is a fearsome warrior for MAGA.
Az. has several good people in the D.C. House, but none of them have or could spend time going to each of their constituents.
The per capita count for each US House rep at the Constitution ratification was 30,000 or so. If we returned to that proportion we’d have 10,000 in Congress right now, and we could maybe whack 20-30% of ’em at times, like in the 19th Century. Every 2 years we could go through that chamber with a scythe. Today, they’re untouchable, especially with money and redistricting, perverting the original intent.
Exactly railer. Tennessee has a Republican Super Majority and we have purple policies at best. Defunding many of the different departments is going to have to happen at the state level also. We have to get the exorbitant money of our state government. Good example is close the Department of Education in Nashville. It educates no one and tolerates 30% proficiency in reading and math .We don’t have DEI, wink wink. The Tennesse Department of UnHealth was all in on masks, vaccines, closures, distancing. UnHealth was aganst everything that worked…Invermectin and HCQ. They couldn’t even document the cases accurately. Tennesse is betting big on EV lotteries in Memphis and SpringHill and we needed another 1 Billion Dollar football stadium? The rot is Everywhere.
I believe if everyone got in the grill of their city council and school boards the ripple UP effect would change the country. I’ll be working to ensure our city council wins a 100% conservative majority this year. The COngressWeasel will attend meetings and rallys and that will be the opportunity to put their feet to the fire and inspire others to do the same.
Globalist = you have one toddler in your household, you find scribbling all over the wall and you ask the toddler did you scribble all over the wall and the toddler with crayon in hand says no .
Looks like at least a sizable part of the people in Eastern Germany still remember life under communism and don’t want anything to do with it.
Hopefully the grandparents and great-grandparents are handing down the truth of how it came about and how life was back then.
It is more complicated than that. Both the “far right” party of the AfD and the “far left” new party of Sarah Wagenknecht (which also did fairly well for a new party) are opposed to funding the war in Ukraine and want closer ties to Russia and Russian energy.
It seems that Eastern Germany is not as fearful of Russia as the western parts of Germany. Alex Christoforou of TheDuran discussed the outcomes of the German elections today:
https://rumble.com/v5dd35p-germany-scholzgreens-crushed.-bild-kursk-was-dumb-idea.-turkey-in-brics.-hv.html
That’s very interesting.
We saw some beluga whales in Iceland a few years ago, in Vestmannaeyjar, what beautiful, gentle and sweet puppy-dog playful creatures. For Journalists to say a Beluga whale was a spy whale, Hvaldimir, what freaking brain-dead zombie morons.
They do. Their kids do as well – that is why Germany does not have native IT workers – distrust of computers, databases that can be spied upon, online computer banking. We noticed people in the east still live in the back of their houses – so no one sees what they are doing, when home, etc.
The one good thing coming out of this year’s elections around the world is the Light that is shining onto the size of this disconnect between the people and their governments; not just the USA but also the NATO member nations and Brazil. Probably a few more nations too that just aren’t being mentioned in the news.
“Trump/RFK, Jr. coalition” now is it? If that’s what it takes to defeat the democrats, so be it; but, frankly, My Dear, I don’t give a damn for a coalition with any democrat, if Trump wins, he loses; media treatment will be “he couldn’t have done it without democrats(Bobby, Jr. specifically), a loss will be a RINO dream; nevertheless, I’m with DJT 150%, after a second term, Mr. Rushmore, standby.
They shouldn’t have sanctioned that shot at PDJT. That went too far, way beyond just how to divvy up trade. There is some nasty shit going on beneath a calm surface, and my guess is RFKJr is going to be put in charge of making it all public. 2025 is gonna be an interesting year. Oh , right. I forgot. Just a lone gunman, mixed up kid, so destroy all the DNA evidence and hose down the roof. Nothing to see here. Nevermind.
If you have been told constantly that Trump is Hitler and an existential threat to Democracy then why wouldn’t you do all in your Power to stop him from being elected. There are more of us than them, show it vote early.
Biden and his interests were behind the assasination attempt, imo.
Yep.
They called the Thunder ⛈️ , and now ‘they’ are going to get the Lightning bolt⚡️.
November will be the deciding factor. Trump will get the votes to win in a Landslide. What will they do in the counting? Fight, fight, fight…….. it will be the modern version of Give me Liberty or Give me Death. There are 400 million guns in the USA….Patriots own about 380 million of them.
“Patriots own about 380 million of them.”
May I ask how many of the “Patriot-Gun holders” are registered to vote?
One third of “Evangelicals” are not registered to vote.
Are all the Pro-Lifers registered to vote? Will they do it on November 5, or before?
You’d be surprised.
Trump/RFK Jr. /Musk/Carlson/Gabard coalition or bust.
Imagine if these 4 individuals had decided to back Harris.
Trump wouldn’t stand a chance. The democrats wouldn’t even have to cheat very much.
Listening to TC’s interview of Darryl Cooper, a historian, as I type; previously, TC mentioned his opinion of the prominent media historians ala Beschloss, Meacham, Goodwin, Applebaum, et al, called them dumb and politically driven; that’s why I’m a TC fan, he’s been doing some excellent work.
That was a great interview. I’ve been a fan of Darryl’s for a long time. His work on explaining post ww2 US/Russia relationship and the Maidan Coup helped me better understand the issues in Ukraine. Notwithstanding of course Mr Magoo’s conflicts of interests.
I am too now, didn’t know of him ’til the interview; decided quickly to subscribe to his podcast.
If you have the stomach for it, check out his podcast called The Anti-Humans. But heed his warning, if you listen all the way thru, it will haunt you. Some things are better not seen or heard.
Who said it was a coalition of all those folks except the MSM press and influencers?
They would still have to cheat massively. Just like 2020.
Good point.
Just thinking last night how the congress (won’t call it ours. Its lost to the citizens) were the root cause of most of President Trump’s inability to get the people he wanted for the work he needed to do. I thought of the lousy AGs he was force to accept and the traitorous, limp spines they were. Let us hope that with the election of President Trump, there will also be enough sits to give him assistance. Glad for Germany and, let it so be here too.
There won’t. Probably 5 decent Senators. Mitch wins.
Yep my guess is 100-200 leftists/globalists ring leaders controlling 3.5 billion (non BRICS) people worldwide.
You mean the Davos group.
There has been a slight change to your regularly scheduled program…
The Left have always engaged in Election Fraud and rigged results but this is something else. They are no longer even hiding it.
“Software error”.
Re software issue, it’s a feature not a flaw.
Clap clap clap go the globalist twits.
FYI – those are members of the AfD – the lady on the right is their leader.
Aren’t the states of Thuringia and Saxony comparable to our Arkansas and Oklahoma?
Oklahoma’s Senator who co sponsored a bill to allow approximately 1.8 million illegals in per year after what Biden/Harris has done. Oklahoma isn’t a good example. Maybe I missed the point?
Vunderbar!
according to PJ Watson, “The AfD were set to win a parliamentary blocking majority, but then a ‘counting miscalculation’ took away the single seat required to do so. Whoops!“
Very suspicious, I thought. It will be interesting to see if there will be a serious investigation.
Yes there will. They will thoroughly investigate, indict, and imprison anyone who questions the ‘miscalculation.’
😂
“The far-right Alternative for Germany just keeps rising despite efforts to stop it.”
And here I thought Nazi meant National Socialist German Workers’ Party?
“Far right” is a propaganda term by the left and their media to conote and portend Nazism and Fascism, and all that entails.
In reality, these movements are populist and nationalist in nature.
And I’m so glad you addressed this as a number here lately are claiming Europe and the US are ‘doomed’ and on the verge of being overthrown in the face of mounting evidence of a multitude of recent events and developments suggest otherwise and continue to do so.
Beware the doomers, naysayers and concernists!!
Especially those who obviously have other countries’ interests over and above that of America.
Fox news needs to scooch further left though
That’s just the camera operator. The Fox reporter is probably hiding behind the yellow text balloon.
Nice depiction of the Overton Window. Kudos
The German governing establishment has its lederhosen in a collective bind. Scholz’s reaction was over-the-top hilarious: “The AfD is damaging Germany. It is weakening the economy, dividing society and ruining our country’s reputation.”
Project Much Herr Chancellor?!
“Ruining our country’s reputation.”
This says everything.
Sure does, as in “Our country (democracy), but not your country (democracy).”
The selfishness of the German (American) political establishment could not be more blatant.
“Kanzler”, to stay with the Deutsch. 😊
Very good analysis here. Thank you for this, Sundance.
European commoners ain’t happy.
I would be supporting AfD if I lived in Germany, so I suppose that labels me an extremist. I support MAGA, too. Sensible government and policies are extreme. Go figure.
Frankly I hope we see this ‘infection’ of far right spread across the world as a snap back due to the actions of insane far left psychopathic criminals.
The further you stretch that rubber band the more extreme it becomes.
And therein lies the danger. We walk a tightrope. They want to incite us to violence. We will not comply. We will stand, but we ain’t takin’ the first shot. This is a very dangerous game they are playing. The thing is, they don’t care who dies. Death, and war, is kinda their thing. They kill babies. They’ll give you drugs and injections until you’re dead or infertile. They’ll help you die out of “compassion”. They’ll mutilate your kids. I never thought the Democrat party would stand for Death. Unbelievable.
You are right-they don’t care. If you want a sense of how far they will go just look at Ukraine.
Turns out Ben Franklin was right about democracy.
I mentioned this quote upthread…sorry…did not see your post til now…
BFAW, just for the record, they already took the first shot.
You took the words out of my mouth.
Oh, ChiefWorm you are correct sir.
First shot? How shall we count the ways???
The poisons in our kids vaccinations? The poisons in our food? The fluoride in the water?
Or how about the POISON in the school library? Or getting arrested for objecting to the PORN?
Sending weaponized jackboots to those who dare object to government overreach in any form?
The censorship perhaps?
I want to see a snap back to the Pledge of Allegiance, prayers to God before meetings not satan.
Men who are men and women who love them for it. Had enough of politically polite?
End of rant.
Concur. We are locked in an existential conflict with post-American pagans. No matter how hard they push us — and they pushed us very hard — they never quite manage to win the ultimate victory that they believe is theirs by right.
Don’t be surprised if the Democrats fire on Fort Sumter a second time, metaphorically speaking.
It should be noted that the areas where AfD is having the most success are those areas that felt the weight of Soviet control. Even though that much of that generation is passing on, I suspect that the local population knows all too well the agenda Berlin’s globalist have in mind.
So Germany doesn’t have the slick process in place to keep the people at bay like the globalists do in France.
You need to start calling out the dolts. No this is not far right this is what the people want and we reject your misrepresentation of it. With extreme prejudice…. Shut you mouth when you are talking or writing to me…..
Compare Germany’s “far right” with Olaf Scholz’s “center left” national government.
Once you’ve trained yourself to see it you notice it everywhere.
I am very hopeful for Germany.
I am reading a substack blog https://www.eugyppius.com/
He is living in Germany (identifies as a German😂) and he also has an interesting write up on the situation there.
I am very happy for this but we know the monsters are still out there, and this kind of development makes them very angry.
oh, and just to add. here in the US, I think the democrat party has been taken over (because they are weak and perhaps carry guilt from their past) by this far leftist freakish “democrat party” that are not democrats.
They are doing and accusing the conservatives of things that they are actually doing. This has been going on in broad daylight now since Oblamer.
Remember when he was campaigning in 2008 and showed up at a few music concerts in europe?
Sort of sabotaged the event with his big blabbering arrogance
It’s inconceivable to me how the Left/Marxist/Socialist/Communist/big government/globalist coalition can equate the Right/Freedom loving people with Nazi’s when the exact opposite is true. I was going to say, “And these are college educated people!” until I realized that “college educated” is the problem. When I was in graduate school I was shocked at the “women’s studies” students who submitted their dissertations on “womens issues” and immediately were approved. Very poor work, no logical basis, made up theories and numbers. Thankfully I was in the sciences, as in math and algorithms, but I saw it creeping into the pure sciences. I was aghast. Literally, women getting PhD’s in “womens studies”…. Does not compute. I advise my grandchildren against “higher education”.
Interesting first hand report.
I recall reading an article a few years back where a group of concerned academics put together some BS theses with all kinds of reputable data and spurious conclusions from made up fake students and submitted them. Was on the West Coast.
IIRC, every single one was approved.
The true authors came forward and disclosed what they had done and how their submitted theses were all made up and incorrect in detail.
Result should have been removal of the approving boards, but it wasn’t.
The result was those academicswho exposed the comically unqualified and intellectually ignorant or lazy who were humiliated, were retaliated against, sanctioned and marginalized.
That concluded my long held suspicions that the majority of PhD majors excluding a few fields were overrated and useless.
I truly believe in education, but the reality is that most fields in the private sector only require a bachelor’s degree.
This whole thing with Masters and PhDs was a push by government and institutions for hiring, promotion and raises.
It is rare in my experience in the private sector of almost 40 years, that outside of medicine, law, and engineering, that those advanced degrees bring much to the table.
I passed up a MBA because I was business major and watched friends in government go get one that had majored in other fields. The course material was the same I had at Jr and Sr levels on the bachelor’s degree.
I watched corporate personnel go get them in the private sector for promotion because their 4 year degrees were not in business and it was required. Most took ‘accelerated’ courses where everyone got at least a B in every course.
With exception to very few, there was not a single one I could recite bank key concepts in various areas in actual practice that appeared to go right over their heads.
I’m glad I temporarily retired this year. I was fed up with idiots.
They are not stunned. It is willful ignorance.
And the protestors are CIS/State Department astroturfing useful idiots.
The question is, are these nationalists just populists? Or are they neo-Prussianists?
If it’s the former, Europe has nothing to worry about. But if it’s the latter, Europe’s in big trouble.
THE question?
On whose behalf ask you such a silly “question”?
In German politics, there is a big difference between right-wing populism and Prussianism.
Right-wing populists are hardly any different from people like Trump, Farage, Le Pen, Orban, etc. They affirm the legitimacy of post-1945 Germany, and wish to preserve the traditional aspects of post-war German culture.
Neo-Prussianists on the other hand lament if not outright reject the legitimacy of post-1945 Germany. They wish to impose upon the German people the pre-1945 “Prussian” culture, which is rooted in the militarism and severe discipline traditionally associated with the pre-1945 Junker aristocracy. To enforce this culture, they advocate the abolition of the post-1945 German government in favor of an authoritarian or semi-authoritarian regimes, with the proposed replacements ranging from absolute monarchy, to semi-constitutional monarchy, to presidential dictatorship, to military dictatorship, to fascist dictatorship, to national bolshevik dictatorship. Furthermore, they lament if not outright reject the legitimacy of the post-1918 and post-1945 boundary changes, and advocate regaining those territories through any means necessary, even war.
While not all Prussianists are Nazis, all Nazis are Prussianists. Think about that.
I’d say the concern is over-rated.
Everyone knows that the Left demonizes anyone right of Marx, now, suddenly, when normal German citizens become alarmed by the effects of their crazy Leftist overlords and seek sane governance out come the erudite worrying about the rise of the Crypto-Nazis.
That strawman isn’t even on the playing field, but you trot it out just the same, cuz concern.
I see you’re not the only one who saw where that was alluding to.
OMG, the Nazis are resurrecting in Germany.
Got to keep those Germans down, you know, they are a threat to the world.
And comically put in Bolsheviks, the very thing they abhorred in all its governmental iterations.
A powerful Germany isn’t all that bad, as long as it isn’t militaristic and obsessed with both reclaiming old territories and colonizing Eastern Europe.
And there is nothing in the current climate to even remotely suggest that.
Not yet, at least.
What was that old saying about the formation of NATO? Something along the lines of “To keep the U.S. in (western Europe), the Soviet Union out and Germany down.”?
I’m not talking (just) about Nazis. I’m talking about Prussianists in general.
You think the Nazis were the only ones who advocated first retaking lost territories and then colonizing Eastern Europe in the name of Lebensraum? Think again. Those ideas predate the Nazis by generations. By the time Hitler came to power, those were popular ideas among the aristocracy, monarchists, national conservatives, regular conservatives, centrists, socialists, and even communists.
If the Nazis didn’t come to power and try to make these ideas a reality, a different party would have. And there’s no guarantee which side of the political spectrum that party would’ve come from. That is why, at the end of World War II, the Allies concluded that the only way to prevent Germany from starting another war was to dismantle the institutions which promoted the “Prussian” way of life, including the Prussian state itself. Not to say that Prussianism has been eliminated entirely from German culture, there are still remnants of it today, particularly in Germany’s expansive social welfare system and its focus on education. But the militarism? That’s gone, at least for now. And Europe can sleep well in that knowledge.
“Retaking, huh?”
So it was theirs to begin with.
Germany was far from the only country to be involved with expansion thru colonizing.
Great Britian, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy were all guilty of that. But you focus on the Germans.
Interesting, since those old Prussians were descended from the Teutonic Knights, who brought Christianity to that part of Europe, and brought peace, prosperity and stability to those areas until it was undermined by Marxist teachings internally and then by international banking interests intrigue, both of which were not Christian and were hell bent on destroying Christianity.
And they were destroyed for it just like Christendom is being attacked today.
Britain, France (except under Napoleon), Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy (except under Mussolini) largely limited their colonialism to land unoccupied by any nation-state. Yes, their treatment of the natives was horrible. But that is another matter.
Germany on the other hand focused mostly on taking land from other nation-states. It didn’t matter in the end whether or not that land previously belonged to them, all they cared about is that it wanted them. Another thing that the Germans did which the other countries you mentioned didn’t is attempt to completely annihilate the native populations of its colonies. And then there was its obsession with annihilating the Jews, to the point where they pressured their allies into deporting their own Jews to German death camps.
That is the legacy of Nazism, and by extension Prussianism. Just as the simultaneous massacres in Asia and the Pacific are the legacy of Japanese emperor-worship, the gulags and mass starvation are the legacy of Bolshevism, and the Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution are the legacy of Maoism.
So which party represents the Prussianists??
Good question. There certainly are Prussianists within AFD, but I wouldn’t say their ideology is dominant there. Its current leader Tino Chrupalla certainly isn’t one.
So, if they are without any power or major influence, then why even bring it up???
We don’t know if its current leadership will last.
After wondering why every single reference to AfD describes it as a “far right” party, I decided to actually read their platform. To an American, it reads like something you’d see from the RNC, not the screed of a bunch of skinhead neo-nazis. Here it is, most browsers will to English: https://www.afd.de/grundsatzprogramm/
It’s clear that the worldwide mainstream media view Germany’s political parties through the same distorted lens that they see America’s.
These are the same “mainstream” organizations that are trying to convince us that Antifa means “anti fascists” when it should really be “Anti Freedom Anarchists”.
One must remember that their naming conventions are to call something the opposite of what it is.
The Patriot Act
The Inflation Reduction Act
ad naseum
It’s newspeak brought to life.
The acronym comes from the German communists’ “enforcer” group Antifaschiste Aktion which was analogous to the National Socialists’ Sturmabteilung.
Leftists worldwide are always stunned, when people wake the hell up, and boot them the hell out of office.
The Globalist and their propaganda machine play cultural politics…
Replace right for Far Right and Far Left for center-left and there you have it. Propaganda.
I once took a course in sociolinguistics. It was an eye opener. This was around ’80. Never have I voted for a Progressive.
I strongly recommend that people read about it. Like 1984, it’s stuff that simply opens up your eyes and you can see the game the Globalist Totalitarians are playing.

Words are tools, and like all tools, are quite often repurposed as weapons, if not created to be such in the first place.
I just finished listening to Tucker’s ;latest podcast with historian Darryl Cooper. I have subscribed to Darryl’s MartyrMade substack for a couple of years now and listened to several pieces of his work which are unparralled in the reasearch he does on tpics.
Relevant to this topic here he made the point that leading up to WW2, Britian/Churchill wanted to drag us and the Soviets into the war to counter a strong German government. post WW2 influence over western Europe fell upon the Americans, whereas the East was controlled under the evil boot of Stalin. Western Europe was convinced that a strong sense of national pride was an evil that caused ww2 and could not be tolerated and Germans were infused with an overwhelming sense of shame. That sentiment appears to still be alive today, national pride, or Nationalism, is an evil that cannot be tolerated.
This mindset explains how and why the so-called masterminds of continental Europe willingly allows foreigners to invade these people’s homeland and take over. They’ve been cucked. But because their lives exist so far removed from the average citizen it doesn’t effect them, YET. These are naive baby boomers. In a few short years they will be groveling at the feet of Moohamid asking how they can convert.
The AfD is most popular in those states that were part of the DDR – The East German Communist country that ended in the 1990’s. These people were born, lived in and under Communist Rule for decades and so it is no wonder they have a pretty good handle on what the The Left in the original West German states have in mind to rule over them and are wisely rejecting the traditional Far Left, Left and Center (think RINO) parties.
Keep in mind that in the late 1940’s when Germans were fleeing Communist East Germany by the millions before the walls went up, Angela Merkel’s father packed up the family and moved to Communist East Germany. She later became the Chancellor of Germany in the CDU/CSU “Conservative” Alliance Party. She showed her true colors as a WEF Leader and was re-elected. Her party was and is considered the traditional Right Wing Party but are really only RINO’s.
The bad news about Germany is that in the original non- Communist West German States like Bavaria where I used to live and where the majority of the country lives, the AfD is much weaker pulling only 5% to 15% of the votes.
The more murders of Germans by Muslims there are and the more the Muslims are not punished but coddled by the traditional political parties the more votes the AfD will get and there will be a lot more murders. Eventually people vote not to be killed.
Those in the former East Germany were the least likely to take the bioweapon jab, had the lowest percentage of “cases” and didn’t fall for the medical tyranny of 2020 forward. They knew propaganda campaigns when they saw/smelled them. And were largely immunized to it.
Define for us, herr Scholz, exactly what is this German “reputation” which is being “damaged”?
Is it your reputation as a friendly host nation for hordes of Islamists?
Is it your reputation for kissing corrupt Ukranian butt while importing Russian natgas?
Is it your reputation for embracing woke civil policy?
Only difference being the U.S. government didn’t start 2 world wars
don’t be so sure of that
what we did to Japan made Pearl Harbor no real surprise
unlike what you were told
You’re right.
The Banksters behind the UK and US pushed the Germans into both, just like they are with Ukraine and Russia.
Similar to America, the “center” has moved so far left, anything a centimeter to the right is labeled “far-right Nazis”. MSM should all choke on their lies.
Let’s not kid ourselves – even traditional “classical liberals” and even what 30 years ago were considered to the far left are now being painted as the second coming of Hitler.
It would be good to find out how Germany’s elections differ from USA mess.
For those wary or lamenting the alignment of RFK/Tulsi/Elon et al, I’m of the belief that were are on the edge of a cliff and the Leftist Whackjob LGBTQRSVP+42 Authoritarian Maniacs are ready to push us off.
I’m willing to align with ANYONE willing to help us fight back.
And when I hear them out, they don’t scare me.
Of coarse our enemy, being GLOBULLUSTS have set up slightly different variations of a Uniparty in all of the “Western Democracies” i.e. W.E.F. Countries.
After all, their stated goal is WORLD domination, so not just the U.S.
In the U.S. it is NOT Dem vs Rep, or Lib vs Cons, it is MAGA vs UNIPARTY.
Worldwide, it is not Conmunists vs “Western Democracies” as in Cold War; it is Nationalists vs Globullusts.
And Nationalist is such a binding system, because it is “natural”; its negotiation 101, with each party coming into the negotiation from a viewpoint of enlightened self interest.
Thats why PDJT can easily negotiate with AMLO (he’s a Communist, but we get along) Kim il sung, Putin, or Xi.
Conmunist moved into its current iteration of Marxism (which has always aspired to a Worldwide, One World Governmen) because Conmunism can not compete, never has been able to.
Hence, so long as there is at least one non-conmunist country, which would expose conmunisms shortcomings, the marxists recognised they would fail.
They include the Fascist elements, to combine the power/authority of Govt. with the power/authority of Big Business, as a useful tool to circumvent the Constitution.
And, they eliminate the “strong man archetype” instead putting up a series of talking heads, easily replaceable while those truly in control remain in the shadows.
However, at the end of the day its STILL CONmunism, still a CON, and a poorly concieved one, at that.
Well said !
Bravo Dutch.
As Dutch said this could be applied to not only America, but almost all Western “democracies” which has the hegelian dialectic political system in place.

‘State-level domestic intelligence authorities have classified the local branches of the party in both Saxony and Thuringia as extremist organizations aiming to undermine German democracy.’
Who are the individuals responsible for these state intelligence classifications and to which political parties do they owe their allegiance? Likewise, would the German nation benefit from exposure of the personnel identities of the Federal Intelligence Institution ‘for the Protection of the Constitution’? This organisation is clearly politically biased and seems to be led/staffed by the German equivalent of the ‘Russia Hoax/ Hunter Biden laptop’ Intelligence Letter signers, of 2020 election infamy . The rot spreads, internationally, deep and wide, with gangrenous links throughout.
As in our own country, those agencies making the proclamations are controlled by those who wish to crush all dissent and turn the keys to the castle over to those who would rule us all…
Nationalism Vs. Globalism
Leftists and MSM are all on the side of the Globalist Socialists and Internationalist Fascists.
Congrats AfD. Sing your heart out. 👏😎
Auslander Raus!!
How dare they recognize and honor their own racial and cultural distinctiveness? 😁
Auslander Raus!!
Exactamente…left win statists are calling Trump a Nazi….as if anyone on the left could engage with Nazis if they really existed in traditional America
All I keep reading is that Le Pen wins the election again but Macron is still President of France?
Recount due to “vote tabulating error” did exactly what was needed and no more to take away a key power of the AfD after the election.
This Changes Everything

The political “frequencies” all around the world are singing and voicing the same song – let us connect to our Heavenly Father and seek His guidance; not the interests of the influencers, view speakers, yoo-toobers, etc.
Blessings on our German sisters and brothers-may they remove the yolk placed on them generations ago by schemers and plotters.
It would not bother me in the least to see the EU collapse. It may come sooner than any of us can imagine. It’s good to see normal Germans pushing back against the globalist/climate alarmist asshats in Brussels and Berlin. I hope their numbers are sufficient to maintain the German identity and borders.
As goes Germany, so goes the EU.
