It’s the same lawfare argument used by Colorado, Maine and Illinois in an attempt to keep President Trump off the ballot.
The supreme court ruled that states cannot trigger Section 3 of the 14th Amendment:

Raskin sat on the House Select Jan. 6 Committee, and also served as an impeachment manager during the second impeachment effort against President Trump over the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. “The House of Representatives already impeached Donald Trump for participating in insurrection by inciting it,” Raskin previously said.

Inciting an insurrection is outright treason, and will not be tolerated.
He will be sent to Gitmo for quick JAG justice like all the rest, and get the same ending as the 4 Colorado Supreme Court judges likely did.
Problem is that it WILL be tolerated if the traitor is from the Left.
You do not and will not hear the mainstream media call out Raskin over this, any more than they ever call out any other Leftist who foments a new Civil War. He will not be censured by his colleagues in Congress or lose any committee assignments. His district will still reelect him. His donors will continue to donate. None of his staffers will quit or begin leaking over this comment. No pundits from the Left will screech about him causing a “Constitutional Crisis” or “undermining civility.”
There’s a good chance that his statement was carefully crafted, studied and focus grouped. The next step would be who they held leverage over and who had nothing to lose. And so a dead man walking was chosen to make the trial statement.
Speaking of squeezing the last drop of usefulness out, saw where Google lost a case on monopoly today in a DC court. Guess our government has tentacles so deep into all internet traffic that an all powerful Google is now more of a threat than an asset.
This may be very difficult for us, but consider praying to God for a change of heart in this man.

And Raskin should be cited for threatening civil war. Sounds like he should be charged with his own threat. Trump wasn’t on record of inciting insurrection like Raskin is on this video. In fact, all those Congress people who encouraged the riots should be charged 🙄
