The absence of official press briefings has been the dog that didn’t bark.
Instead, the Secret Service, FBI and Law Enforcement have been selectively leaking details, testing what would be and would not be accepted, and we have only seen controlled snippets of information.
Much of the information within those leaks has been lies, sometimes absurd in their construct, pushed through a generally incurious media.
Smart people have noted the absence of the official public information process indicates something very sketchy in the background. [ie. the dog that didn’t bark]
The attempted assassination of President Trump is a big deal; perhaps one of the biggest events in recent history. There is massive public interest.
If ordinary procedures and protocols were being followed, we would have official daily updates at scheduled press conferences, and the media would be able to present questions based on presented information. The absence of these press briefings tells us something that is not good.

There are two other possible reasons:
I. Neutralization:
Daily press conferences would be a constant reminder of the event and that official channels were taking it seriously. Press conferences would legitimize Donald Trump in the eyes of the nation (and the world) and reinforce his importance in an election year. No press conferences means no fuel, no political energy, no legitimacy. Trump is so unimportant that we are not even wasting time on his attempted assassination. Imagine how uneventful Covid-19 would have been without the daily word from Fraud-ci and Scarf Lady. It would have been just another flu. Trayvon and George Floyd would have just been two more drugged out hoods without the daily reminders of their martyrdom. The IC knows the power of propaganda lies in the daily repetition of the narrative.
II. Waiting to create a narrative acceptable on social media:
Unlike previous assassination attempts, we now have social media. Everyone has a camera and access to the internet. This is what has allowed various theories to emerge. The recording of people in Butler alerting law enforcement to the guy on the roof is just damning. It’s time stamped like all cell phone videos. The recording of the gun shots has been analyzed and two guns seem to be heard.
An innocent DHS/USSS would want to get in front of all that, give press conferences, and play “whack-a-mole” with any bad information. They could give actual proof of what they found. But a guilty DHS can’t afford to do that since there is a lot of information on social media that could be verified as correct through independent means. DHS/USSS claims at a press conference could be immediately contradicted by cell phone video or analyses done by social media users online, or by the local PD or other police.
So what do you do if you’re the guilty party in the days of social media? You use social media against itself. You add more outlandish “evidence” to dilute the real evidence. Here is a video of a ladder–see, the guy bought this ladder. (Of course he didn’t, but the average social media user doesn’t know that.) The more fake videos and fake “facts” you put online, the more suspect ALL of it looks.
Meanwhile, you erase any real evidence you do have-communications, records (Hello, Crowdstrike!). You wait until everyone is so confused and until there is no way to get enough real evidence to make anything stick. Eventually, the public gets tired and moves on to the next thing. Meanwhile, in official briefings, you push the “mistakes were made” line, and eventually everyone will go with that. Especially a complicit Uniparty.
The eventual “accepted” narrative is incompetence or “mistakes were made” or “resources were stretched too thin.” And anything from social media will be assumed to be “conspiracy theory” since so much bad information has been entered into the mix by the IC itself.

There were definitely two guns. The first three shots were not from Crooks. They were the Deep State’s hired gun out the open window from the building behind Crooks’. Those were slow and precise and by the grace of God and a turn of his head, Trump is still alive. That’s why the sniper you see in the videos, on the other roof jumped when he heard them. He was watching Crooks and he didn’t fire the first volley of shots. The next five shots were from Crooks. Dollars to donuts there were only five spent rounds on the top of that roof. They didn’t care that people were watching Crooks, he was the distraction. The last shot, 13 seconds later, took out their scapegoat Crooks. The fact no one is releasing any information on the shell casings recovered and the caliber of the gun(s) used is all you need to know.

We need to get the cleanest information together. This site did a great job with the George Zimmerman incident as well as the Michael Brown and George Floyd cases. We need the same thing for the assassination attempt. Evidence needs to be vetted, and bad facts (planted stuff) needs to be identified and discarded.
I watched and listened to the audio evaluation done by Peak Performance and I heard 3 separate guns. Not an expert, but when you focus on only the gun shots themselves, it’s clear there were 3.

So many people are only seeing the government conspiracy and I understand why, but this does fit what we know. The conspiracy is the cover up of massive failure. I just heard that the roof post was abandoned due to heat. That doesn’t jive with the sloped roof is dangerous comment.

Damning evidence still exists and is being shared. Further 50% (more?) of country knows the deep state/Uniparty/evil cabal exists and will not accept blindly what is fed them. In a world where their existence was unknown you would probably be totally correct.

It’s more than obvious Cheatle and her handlers are covering up. Who are they protecting? According to Robert Barnes local law enforcement on site that day have stated there was more than one shooter. They are trying to act like the attempted assassination of a US President was just an everyday “crime in the hood,”event, not worthy of their attention or adherence to standard protocols, when in fact it is tantamount to the crime of the century. They wouldn’t be behaving this way unless they were guilty of culpability for this near miss at murdering President Trump. She testified today that she knows how many shell casings were found on the roof but refused to tell Congress. Why? Because even a moron knows there were nine shots—3, then 5, then one. If they found only 5 casings, we have another shooter.
If they say three, then they can say that the SS counter sniper team killed him with five shots and another team missed with one, which is where Bongino’s leaks are taking us because he was told the last shot was NOT the kill shot, but was a local team who missed. Just like JFK, the ballistics will be the key and any delay in getting that info out tells you that they are covering up.
How many shell casings from the shooter is a constant number that can be matched with the number of rounds left in his gun.
What caliber was the bullet that killed him? We’ve been told it was a single miracle shot that killed him. That is inconsistent with any theory suggesting it was one of the five in the middle and it cannot be one of the three. And if it was one of the five, there should be bullet holes around or behind the corpse, which we are hearing nothing about.
And there were at least five bullets that killed or wounded-one hit Trump, one killed Compatore, one hit another, and two hit the last. If all of those came from the shooter’s gun, they should have the same caliber and that means they were from the middle five, not the three or the one. If not, then they came in some combination from the three and the five. They may be the same cartridge, but they would have different signatures.
But the one that hit Trump, we don’t know whether they recovered it. So we cannot rule out that it was one of the three.
The larger point is that it’s been ten days and we should know literally everything about the ballistics and we don’t. Ergo, the Biden Administration has not provided the evidence that would conclusively rule out its participation in a coordinated assassination attempt.

Tonight excuse me last night I saw a detailed analysis of the sounds the different shooter’s bullets made by a PhD that Bill Ackerman had extolled in a tweet.
No doubt there were at least 2 and quite possibly 3 shooters and the SS sniper who killed Crook’s would make either 3rd or 4th.
According to this PhD the first three shots distinctly different in sound and were fired from a lower position than Crook’s rooftop as the bullet would have to been on upward trajectory to hit Trump’s ear and hit man in the upper row of stands on Trump’s far left in the chest. Below Crook’s were windows.
PhD said of the next 6 shots before Crook’s was killed with 7th from SS agent, Crooks only fired 4. The 3 and 6 clearly different. And there was some differences between 3 and 6.

If Crooks was the source of the three, and the three were responsible for the non-fatal wound to Trump, the fatal wound to Compatore, and the non-fatal wounds to the other attendees who survived, as you suggest, then the ballistics for first the five, then the one, a six going going outbound, would show up either in Crooks body or in holes around and behind his corpse. Also, she would have been able to quell any “inside job” conspiracy by merely disclosing to Congress that they found only three shell casings that matched his gun on the roof. Instead, we have not been told the number of shell casings nor of any of the ballistics evidence, whether the bullets recovered from Compatore and the surviving attendees, and the outgoing fusillade evidence, i.e., holes, angles, locations.
What do we all see at the scene of a murder? Where are the evidence markers on the roof? That’s how Sundance ultimately put Michael Brown next to the police cruiser in Ferguson, Missouri, the black and gold wristband among the ballistics markers. All of that would have been determined that day. Ten days later, she is refusing to disclose any of that evidence. You may ultimately be proven correct, but if so, she is doing a disservice to the people of this country to leave this to fester into a grassy knoll event.

Instead of telling the nation that the FBI had reached the same conclusion as the grand jury, after being a part of the investigation from the very beginning, Obama let Ferguson burn. The narrative mattered more than the truth.

My senses tell me he was told to see what he could get away with without being stopped, and it was a security test. I think the delay in shooting Crooks is because the SS sniper recognized him.
IMO. There are no briefings or updates because the agencies that would investigate and provide briefings were behind it. They failed to accomplish.

Yes, Crook may have been only 20 years old and that fact only begs the question; how did he develop his amazing abilities at infiltration and stealth? To seemingly pop up out of nowhere?
Well, I see eerie similarities in technique and wet work skills, to be able arrive at an optimal perch, undetected. I speak of John “Bluto” Blutarsky, played by John Belushi in the film, Animal House. There is a scene where Bluto is on a mission and apparently, it’s an urgent one. Bluto executes his infil perfectly and despite the challenges, does so stealthily and without detection. That’s the important part which I believe Crook studied and honed his skills. I watched the entire 4 hours 35 minutes of the hearing and one thing that really jumped out for me was when Cheatle stated that there were no audio recordings of the communication channel from that day. That seems like big news to me I don’t know way the representitive asking the questions did not press her on that point. On day one I said that the most important evidence that needed to be released immediately are all the audio recordings from the secure “tactical” radio channel. What were the counter-snipers saying into their radio’s? Was the presence of the shooter relayed on the “tact” channel?
