Today, the House Oversight Committee [aka ‘Chaff and Countermeasures Committee] is questioning Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, on the “Oversight of the U.S. Secret Service and the Attempted Assassination of President Donald J. Trump.”
Director Cheatle is under fire for the catastropic, almost deadly, failures to provide security to President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. Republicans are using the opportunity of Cheatle’s appearance to find answers about the events. Cheatle is not expected to remain in office as the transition from Joe Biden to Kamala Harris happens in the White House.

Congress Critters want to complain about guns instead of the failures of the Secret Service in the hearing about Secret Service failures. Any one in Congress who wants to take away citizens’ guns must lead the charge by giving up their own secret service protections, for themselves and their family members. NOW. In the meantime, if they can be protected by guns that I’m paying for with my tax dolloars, then I have the RIGHT to protect myself and my family with my own resources. You’ve got yours and I’ve got mine, so back off.
My thoughts were that the feds and local law enforcement can’t protect us.
Therefore, we sure as hell shouldn’t give up our guns.
and imo we shouldn’t be paying for their protection either.
I believe it’ll only be members of the Democrat/Communist/Socialist/Anarchist party who’ll be most interested in attempting to turn Cheatle’s questioning into public circus over our Second Amendment rights that our Founders provided in the first Ten Amendments to the U.S. Constitution – oh! did I leave out the RINOs – sorry.
This was a hit on President Trump and I fear her silence on the timeline issue indicates guilt on her part and the secret service detail who disregarded the threat. I think Jill and Joe were in on it and have vanished. She went to the RNC and was going to go to Aspen for a day, all planned with the possible successful assassination of Trump under her belt.
Without a doubt, the FBI that is investigating is involved as they have been on every plot against Trump.
She is guilty and I am sure her life is on the line if she tells the truth. She does not take the 5th, she just sits silent!

Imagine her schedule if Trump had been killed that day. The RNC would not have been a great uniting event but a globalist coronation of their selected candidates. The crowd at Aspen would have been thrilled to hand her the payoff, whatever that might have been.

Here are the data points that should explain: 1. suppressor affixed to killer’s rifle – 2. the on scene photo sent to an ATF agent immediately following the incident – 3. the killer’s plate number on his recovered vehicle. Here is how it may have unfolded: to possess a suppressor, i.e, a silencer, you must be 21 years of age to purchase one from a dealer, and only 18 to purchase one or be gifted by a friend or family member.
Both acquisitions require an arduous application process with the ATF. To purchase from a dealer you must submit a photograph, prints, and personal history. To obtain from, let’s say, a parent you must also fill out an ATF form but it’s unclear if it requires a photo. In the killer’s case, when the unknown man in the suit caused the photo of the shooter to be sent to the ATF agent he probably was told that no record existed and was then forced to follow up with info obtained from the killer’s vehicle registration. The killer’s surname and address would be in the ATF database because the father was the original purchaser. Why the government won’t share this very simple explanation is ridiculous, unless there is more “there” there.

This almost seems like an inside job. The SS left the front door wide open for an assassination. They reviewed and approved the site; the buildings and that thousands of people would be attending.

Cheatle actually answered that they have a number of different teams and partners that set up these events, provide security and identify threats, but she also admitted that there is not one person who approves the plan for each event.
That is unconscionable and exactly what allowed this to happen. Each team or group does their thing and nobody reviews or approves the overall.
