The biggest question inside the investigation of the Trump assassination attempt, is the thing no one has mentioned. Why have there been no daily press briefings?

The absence of official press briefings has been the dog that didn’t bark.
Instead, the Secret Service, FBI and Law Enforcement have been selectively leaking details, testing what would be and would not be accepted, and we have only seen controlled snippets of information.
Much of the information within those leaks has been lies, sometimes absurd in their construct, pushed through a generally incurious media.
Smart people have noted the absence of the official public information process indicates something very sketchy in the background. [ie. the dog that didn’t bark]
The attempted assassination of President Trump is a big deal; perhaps one of the biggest events in recent history. There is massive public interest.
If ordinary procedures and protocols were being followed, we would have official daily updates at scheduled press conferences, and the media would be able to present questions based on presented information. The absence of these press briefings told us something that is not good. But perhaps today, we find out why.
The Washington Post is now running a story saying Secret Service security requests were repeatedly denied by top government officials.
(WaPo) – The Washington Post – Top officials at the U.S. Secret Service repeatedly denied requests for additional resources and personnel sought by Donald Trump’s security detail in the two years leading up to his attempted assassination at a rally in Pennsylvania last Saturday, according to four people familiar with the requests.
Agents charged with protecting the former president requested magnetometers and more agents to screen attendees at sporting events and other large public gatherings Trump attended, as well as additional snipers and specialty teams at other outdoor events, said the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe sensitive security discussions. The requests, which have not been previously reported, were sometimes denied by senior officials at the agency, who cited various reasons, including a lack of resources at an agency that has long struggled with staffing shortages, they said.
Those rejections — in response to requests that were several times made in writing — led to long-standing tensions that pitted Trump, his top aides and his security detail against Secret Service leadership, as Trump advisers privately fretted that the vaunted security agency was not doing enough to protect the former president.
The Secret Service, after initially denying turning down requests for additional security, is now acknowledging some may have been rejected. The revelation comes as agency veterans say the organization has been forced to make difficult decisions amid competing demands, a growing list of protectees and limited funding.

Keep in mind this is coming from the Washington Post, so that means someone inside government (IC silo) gave WaPo documentary evidence of denied security requests. WaPo then questions Secret Service. Caught in their prior lies, the Secret Service now backtracks.
This is sketchy as f**k on many levels!
First, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle is gone. This article alone gets rid of her, and she’ll likely resign before the banks open Monday.
Second, the Intelligence Community (IC) likely knows congress was given information about denied Secret Service requests. In advance of any congressional hearings which would have been explosive if the gotcha ‘lying’ moment was with officials, the IC is now trying to protect their interests regardless of who in the administration gets hurt.
Third, this report gives media authorization to target Joe Biden as collateral damage. An ancillary benefit for the interests of a self-preservation IC angle. Did Joe Biden know his administration was denying security requests, if so…. Biden has blood on his hands. That’s the angle now open for media.
The Washington Post doesn’t provide this report without various DC silo offices benefiting from it.
The absence of the dogs’ bark should now get attention.

I have seen several times that the kill shot (on the assassin) was a difficult shot and came from 400 yds.

We know there were at least 3 shooters on that day.
Crooks shooting at President Trump
The SS snipers shooting at Crooks
and the local Butler police officer who also shot at Crooks.
The local Butler officer was placed on administrative leave, which is normal when an officer is involved in any shooting.
So the audio analysis can be correct that there were at least 2 or 3 guns, but that does NOT mean there were 2 shooters shooting at President Trump that day. We know of at least two different guns shooting Crooks. The SS and the local officer.
I believe Crooks got off those first three shots, the next burst of 5 or 6 shots was the SS snipers taking Crooks out and then the final shot way late was the local officer firing a shot at crooks.
That does not account for the other people hit by bullets.
I believe Crooks sent two bullets to Trump. Both hit his ear or perhaps one just missed him. One bullet killed Mr. Comperatore. Two bullets hit one of the attendees, who was then in critical condition. And one hit another attendee. That’s 6 shots into the rally area. That’s all I know. I can’t claim to have watched any videos or seen any other information about who fired all 6 shots.

His conclusion: There was only one shooter and the audio analysis is consistent with that. The shots came from the roof where Crooks was killed. That was the only location that matches the acoustics, the layout of the land and the observed trajectory of the bullets. There were two teams of two man Secret Service snipers. Neither team could see Crooks because a tree close to Crooks firing position blocked their view. It was only after Crooks saw he had not killed President Trump that he moved, firing more shots. Immediately he had left the cover of the tree, he was taken out.
That leaves so many other questions. How could Crooks have been allowed to check out the lay of land without being stopped and questioned? How could he fly a drone but the SS couldn’t? Why was the C-team sent to guard Trump? Why was Trump allowed on stage when there was a known threat – a guy with a range finder acting suspiciously? Why didn’t the SS have people on the roof that Crooks climbed up to? In their site check, why didn’t the sniper team see the tree would be perfect cover for an assassin? Why was CNN doing a live broadcast of a Trump rally for the first time in 2024? (Shades of the Roger Stone arrest they happened to televise).
The audio is not consistent with one shooter.
My lingering question is why weren’t line of sight areas blocked off at that rally when they were blocked at every other outdoor rally?

The Secret Service’s main mission to protect the President and former Presidents should come to an end. They should only be allowed to determine if U.S. Dollars are fake or not. There should be a new Praetorian Guard to protect Presidents and former Presidents. This is also a point of contention. There’s a 10 ft ladder but there’s also a 5 ft ladder AND it’s been reported he hopped on an hvac unit and then easily jumped up there. This horrible episode in our political history started at the beginning. The original venue for Trump’s July 13th rally was the local Butler airport but it was changed (? reason) to the Butler Fairgrounds. Who encouraged that that place should be the venue instead? I saw an interview of a lady vendor at the rally. She had been to 40 Trump rallys over the years and was worried the day before the rally about the direct line of fire from those buildings (where the assassin was) to the podium where Trump stood.
I also saw 2 different guys on tik tok evaluating gunfire accoustics from that day. There may actually have been 3 shooters: the first fired 3 shots directly aimed at Trump and was probably a “professional”; the second who fired 5 shots hitting several people in the stands was Crooks; and the third was a good guy sniper firing a single shot that went into Crooks’ eye (he was prone on the roof) and came out his neck looking like a set up for something really bad to happen as it did.
All this is at least gross neligence and a set up for something really bad to happen.
