According to Ford’s sources, one of them noticed a suspicious man on a roof near the rally at 5:45 p.m., called it in and took a picture of the person. We have learned from our sources the person in that picture is Thomas Crooks. We’re told it’s not clear if Crooks had a gun with him at that point.
According to multiple sources, a law enforcement officer had also previously seen Crooks on the ground and called him in as a suspicious person with a picture prior to 5:45 p.m. Our sources tell us an officer checked the grounds for Crooks at that point but did not see him where the first picture was taken. Where was the entry wound and WHAT ANGLE did it strike at on his shooter’s body?
Why might that be important?
Go back and look at the map diagram at the top closely.
Now draw a picture of the shooter laid out on his belly in a shooting position facing the Rally stage.
Now ask yourself what if the kill shot entered the shooter in the back or top back side of the neck or back of the head in a downward angle?
What might that tell you?

We had a group passing about a petition to get abortion on the ballot to make it legal. Turns out that at least 3 of the big leaders of the petition group were from out of state, with one from Oregon. What ticked me off the most about the petitioner was all their lies. They would say it was for right to life, and things like that. I not only heard petitions saying that to a few people, but had some signers pass the Right to Life booth af the fair proudly telling us how they had signed our petition.

-I saw Bill Clinton in Pendleton Oregon in 2008.No metal detectors or any of that stuff. However the SS probably 7 or 8 were like 6 inches apart surrounding the maybe 8 ft 10 sq ft stage in the gym. there was like 2 or 3 on the stage, 1 at each of the doors to the side of the stage & probably a mixture of a dozen or so local LEOs and SS at the front area.
In 2012 I saw Santorum in Pasco Washington. I can’t tell you the set up inside the auditorium because I was helping at the table. in the hallway lobby area. At both entry doors to the banquet type room was one each. Walking the lobby and hall ways were at least a 1/2 dozen. After everything was over, we got to meet Santorum and talk to him for about 10 minutes. He’d already gone to his room so we waiting I this small banquet room There was a good-sized group of them that got off the first elevator Then came Santorum with another group. There were two at the door to the small banquet(?) room, 1 at the elevator, 1 at end of hallway and 6 with Santorum in the room. What I remember most was 2 or 3 or them put their arms on their hips or in their pockets so their jackets opened up enough to where their guns were visible. Each had at least 3 guns waist and shoulder harness(?) on each side. Oh, yea my eyes were probably wide. As our group walked out one of the guys in the group mentioned that the SS probably did that on purpose to let us know they meant business.

From more than one source, there are over 6,000+ US Secret Service agents, & while not all are in direct “field” service, they are all trained to be able to go into “field” service.
Not unlike “Basic” training for the US Military that all are trained in “Basic” training (Boot camp), and then go on to be trained in specialized areas for whatever MOS/billet(position/duty) they are going to be assigned to after they complete their basic training. ( Billet(position/duty = M.O.S. = Military Occupational Specialty).
I am only presenting this as info & not as a point of contention or argument.

There were more than enough US SS & local LEOs to be able to cover all the areas & make them secure at this venue.
(Meaning – If the local LEOs had put a couple of LEOS on the highest rooftop of that AGR complex, (In Uniform to be IDed as LEO) then no one would be able to be up there as well, unless they were supposed to be there, or were possibly an assassin. Making a target ID much simpler.)
IMO, There was a catastrophic “Screw Up” by more than one of the “security team” by not having at minimum two LEOs/USSS agents stationed on that AGR rooftop complex at this event.
As well as on that water tower & more than one or two roof tops & other elevated positions in that AO ( <Area of Operation) around this venue.
( There are other elevated positions not being mentioned by most that should have had a “LEO presence of some sort. Look to the right of the dias platform that DJT was on if you are facing the dias platform. There are more buildings over that way to the “South” if I am not mistaken, and If the assassin was to the North for his position. If I am not mistaken this is some sort of “fairground” or the like & there are much more buildings around the AO that most overhead photos/images are showing folks….)

We, at least before I went to boot camp (1980 San Diego/M Co./3rd Bn/RTR), and up until I got out,( 1986 @ Parris Island,SC. I Co./3rdBn/RTR) were required to qualify on the “KD” course for rifle qualification in Boot Camp ( <USMC basic training) which comprises shooting at 200, 300 & 500 Yards with Open (iron) sights to qualify as US Marines in order to graduate from Boot camp and become US Marines.
No Scopes, Red Dots, or any other “Optics” at that time or earlier to qualify.

If I recall correctly, at that time, about 40 years ago, if you did not qualify as at least a “Marksman” to get a Marksman” badge, which required a 190 score out of 250 possible points, a “Sharpshooter” badge required a score of 210 out of 250 & an “Expert” badge was IIRC, was 225 out 0f 250, you did not graduate & earn the title of, “US Marine”.
So, Oswald earned the title. Regardless of his later conduct.
So, “Half-assed marksman” ain’t gonna cut it.

Another point that bothers me to no end is that you can hear on the video — actually hear — the stress in the voices as the alert individuals were trying to get the LEOs’ attention. And the LEOs appear not to have alerted the SS at the main stage.
I wonder if the alert individuals were close enough to the main crowd that they could have used their collective voices to scream and draw attention as an alarm signal. We used to do this tactic as kids (we lived on rural farm land) to communicate back to the main house when we were traipsing far away and heard the porch bell being wrung–> on the count of three, multiple kids all collectively yelled a coordinated reply that could be heard a long distance and was quite effective. Can you imagine if the crowd started to participate in screaming one word, “SHOOTER!”

That said, I’m not as alarmed about the police and SS actions immediately before the shooter fired, as many Trump supporters who have expressed themselves are on social media.
1) The local LEO who checked out the roof, was boosted up by another officer to look up over it, and immediately found himself staring down the barrel of a rifle, did the only sane thing possible to save himself from losing his head. Of course, other questions exist, i.e. did they see the guy up their before they looked. Knowing a guy with a gun was up there, then peeking over the top without being able to protect himself with an armed response, would be simple incompetence, NOT cowardice.
2) This report, and others indicating that the snipers had the perp in view, doesn’t explain why they didn’t shoot. Bottom line, if they couldn’t verify the perp had a gun, they’re not going to shoot. And again, if there are multiple reports coming in that there MAY be a suspicious man on an overlooking roof, then no LEO/SS would need to spot the perp before hauling Trump off stage. One report of “wolf”, yeah, it would have to be checked out before the Secret Service stopped the proceedings. A chorus of “wolf” chants, and if the above report is accurate, a report that reached authorities 30 MINUTES(!!) before the assassination attempt, then yeah, someone screwed up big time within the overall security organization. That side profile of the perp on the roof may not have been the local police or snipers saw. If all they saw as a head on top of that roof, they’re not going to shoot, maybe not even have crosshairs on him. Seeing a man WITH a rifle on a roof, would have at least resulted in moving Trump off stage, IMHO. I’m not going to criticize the LEO’s and SS snipers, or site commanders for their actions minutes or seconds before the assassination attempt, without knowing more facts.
3) I am utterly unimpressed with the Secret Service’s denial of responsibility for securing the surrounding areas of those fairgrounds. That’s 100% “Bidenism”, i.e. they consider themselves totally unaccountable for anything that happens on their watch. The director of the SS should be fired immediately, AND also anyone in the chain of command who authorized that denial. Obviously, the Secret Service as a law enforcement and protective organization is far less concerned about the results, and root cause of the security failure, than they are in CYA. That denial is as damning as the failure of security at the rally.
4) Remember the adage, don’t attribute to a malevolent “conspiracy” that which can better be explained by sheer incompetence. Facts matter. Truth matters over and above all. My initial conclusion is that (a) DHS understaffed Trump’s SS detail (why? is the real question), (b) the site survey and planning detail failed in planning (i.e. yeah, actually, they WERE responsible for covering that building, and every other potential threat!), and (c) the on site SS team commander failed his/her basic duty to protect Trump. If the advance team failed, if the local PD or state police failed, and he could observe that by merely looking around the area, and SEEING the building the perp shot from unprotected, he should have halted everything until security was adequate. The concept that he/she would not have NOTICED the security gap, is again, damning to him, his team, and the Secret Service.
There are things that the Secret Service routinely does, or have done, that they did not do in this case, exposing Trump to an assassin. The fact that the Secret Service believes a simple denial of responsibility for covering that building is adequate, means that probably a dozen agents and supervisors must be terminated.
Finally, NO INVESTIGATION is legitimate, unless it’s run by an independent, apolitical and non-partisan, experienced law enforcement officer. I can think of about a half dozen good men, mostly Sheriff’s, who could do that job. Anything that the FBI, SS, or local PD does to investigate, is as likely to obfuscate the facts and destroy evidence, as they are to actually identify and disclose accountability for the security failure.
Why aren’t the elected GOP leaders, Senators, House Speaker, Governors, the RNC, demanding a truly independent investigation?!! Anything that the GOP Congress does will be at best, too little too late, and more likely, a failed effort that delays or prevents disclosure the the facts. (Remember that famous bipartisan Kennedy commission investigation? Yeah, that’s your precedent, and likely outcome.)
