However, today on the flight to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, President Trump talked exclusively to Mrs. Zito, who writes for the Washington Examiner.

I’m an older guy and so agree with what you said about the erosion of competencies. The quality of workmanship, pride in what you produce, seemingly not caring if it gets done or not. I’ve seen all that erode over the last several years. For me it’s kind of sickening and a sign of a country going down. UNLESS, something happens to turn it around. There is an awakening underway which may be part of that turn around. Pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit.
The underlying problem where young people are concerned is that adults and institutions run and overseen by adults have failed them in so, so many ways.
Many parents have failed them, schools at all levels have failed them, the government has failed them, politicians have failed them, religious institutions have failed them, the media have failed them.
Many parents are doing their best to raise their children to be responsible fully capable functioning adults but parents are at the mercy of the institutions that are working directly against those parents.
The only answer is for parents to put their children 1st in every way and if that means walking away from state schools and every institution that no longer supports parents and children…then they should.
Most won’t do this because they too have become too trusting of the people and institutions that run the country.
I know many who lament the public school system that are unable to pay for private education. Yet, most of them have at least one new car/car payment. We are presently dealing with generations of people who have no concept of sacrifice. My son is sometimes embarrassed about our thirty year old car. He doesn’t realize that I could be driving a top of the line Mercedes, had I not chosen to spend the first three years of his life at home with him, and subsequently keep him out of public school.

Secret Service used to be taught, if there’s an unexpected potential threat you neutralize it (does not mean “kill” the threat but if necessary slam him down and ‘cuff him).
A friend of mine in the Army failed to get into the Secret Service because his immediate reaction in his first test was to have a Q&A with the potential threat (“Come on man, whattaya doin’ here? You know this area was locked off…”)
Secret Service didn’t tell him what to do in the exercise or what the training protocol was… they wanted to see how candidates were wired.

DJT was brought down and shielded by all the nearby bodies asap. It is precisely this kind of confusion, atop all sorts of other human failings, that makes me feel certainty that the hand of Providence was protecting DJT. Almost like He wants to say to us, “Get your ducks in a row, you addlepates, you’re threatening what’s precious with what’s base and weak!”
The CNN government censorship agent conveyed her firm belief that Trump is characterized by divisiveness and is intent on retribution. This is projection to the point of delusion. But while she is not psychotic, her belief and the belief of other progressives is impermeable to facts and to discovering the the truth.
People use projection because it meets an emotional need. Progressives use projection, projecting their own unwanted impulses onto Donald Trump and his supporters, because it allows them to feel no guilt, and it allows them to feel virtuous by contrast with Trump and his supporters. The problem is, they cannot feel virtuous without projecting their aggression onto others. Thus they must continuously come up with new grievances that identify themselves as victims of aggression that is all on the someone else’s side of the line.
When people have an emotional need to use projection, because it relieves them of guilt about their own impulses (such as to be divisive and to seek retribution), it is embedded in their character as firmly as any other belief system that offers succor.
These are people who cannot emotionally afford to see Donald Trump realistically as a human being, with strengths and weaknesses. The more they can dehumanize and demonize Trump the easier it is for them to justify all manner of overt hostility towards him.
It is not possible to reason with people who have a need to condemn someone or a whole group of people as undeserving of life.
Calls for unity falls on deaf ears when the people listening are convinced that Trump is mentally ill, criminal, and like Hitler.
It would be like trying to discuss the idea that there are good Jewish people with Hitler.
The the people who hold progressive political views are very much like Hitler in that what unites them is hatred of Trump and his supporters just as what united Nazis was their hatred of Jews, Slavs, and disabled people who they felt should be exterminated for the good of Germany.
In Arab and Muslim countries this same use of projection occurs: while the leaders do nothing for their people, when the people complain they are told their problems are all caused by Jews and Israel. Thus the people of these countries hope their freedom and survival will come once the Jews and Israel are destroyed.
What is to be done about this situation in our country?
The current situation of divisiveness was created by an oligarchy that decided that the US middle class and the US Constitution needed to be destroyed in order for them to have full control of the country. People who are poor and desperate are in no condition to fight for their rights. Thus these oligarchs have been working since the 1970’s to turn our country into a third world nation.
They have achieved a lot of what they wanted: they achieved the destruction of our manufacturing base, the destruction of our steel industry, the destruction of our ship building industry, and have achieved a peoplehood that is starkly divided between those who go along with these oligarchical goals of destroying America and those who are determined to prevent that destruction.
They have achieved a Congress that works for them, not for the people of the USA. Remember all those Ukrainian flag wavers in Congress jubilant because more billions of taxpayer dollars were agreed to be sent down the toilet bowl in Ukraine? They are doing the oligarchs bidding.
These oligarchs do not want Donald Trump elected. And they will do everything in their power to prevent it. They are planning on food shortages and possibly even water shortages, although I am not sure how they could achieve the latter. But they are achieving the food shortage by culling millions of chickens for a virus that doesn’t even exist and by setting fire to food processing plants all over the USA.
Prepare for a difficult period of time. When the central bankers get desperate they can cause economic collapse. They have done it before. They are working on doing it again through monetary policy that is creating a mountain of debt that can cripple the US through interest payments alone.
Those who have political power and have chosen to support the oligarchs over the people of the US should ultimately be charged with treason, investigated, and stand trial. It is only by breaking the power of the oligarchs and the progressives in power that we have a chance of resuscitating our republic.
The people of America who prefer Communism over a Constitutional Republic should be given a one way ticket to China.
