I am very leary about the new speech if it is going to be a ‘uniter’ variety.

There must never be compromise with Marxists and those who sell out the country to foreign interests for money and those who seek to delute the citizen population with illegals. Those elements must be rhetorically separated and pushed outside the “unified” body politic. If Trump “compromises” with them, then he will sacrifice the country to them because they will never compromise with him. I have always feared that Trump, deep down, lacks the ruthlessness the nation’s situation requires. FDR consolidated an electorate that stuck with him thick and thin and that endured beyond his passing by stratifying the electorate and singling out what he called “the malefactors of great wealth.” In like manner, Trump must consolidate the overwhelming majority of the country in a mutual repudiation of those elements described above.
I would have LOVED to have heard his original speech! But I ‘get’ that he needs to ‘try’ to bring the country together, even though the majority of those on the other side I believe are brainwashed sheeple and they are beyond reaching.

Something else I’ve noticed…
You’ve seen many posts on social media (many posted here) of people who did not really like Trump (some were voting for him anyway, some were not) who describe a deeply held internal change of support since the assassination attempt. Some have gone as far as to say they would walk on glass to vote for him now.
It isn’t that he survived the attempt on his life that drives them. It was his reaction to it. They were affected by his strength, the way he stood up to face his supporters with his fist raised (and blood running down his face) to let them know he was OK, we were OK. The way he passionately yelled “fight, fight, fight”. That is what affected them so deeply.
Trump has been called upon, and answered that call, for this time we are in. Even more true today than it was in 2016.
I am weird and as microwave is running, I see what I can do during that time. I am always amazed at how much can be done in a minute.

This is wonderful news. If the changes indicated are what President Trump’s speech portends, he could literally transform his campaign and the votes of many Thursday night. Why?
Our base is fully aware of our Lion, the fighter. He gets a little carried away with some of his bombastic comments. But it appears this may be a life changing episode, one which will allow him to reflect his heart and soul to those who only see gruff mean tweets. The MAN, Donald Trump, is flawed as we all are, but a very GOOD man, who deeply loves America. This is the man we need shown to all those undecideds, those who are curious but cautious, those who inherently know things aren’t right but need to find trust in the right person to fix it.
Being a victim of this attempted murder, and saddened by the loss of a good man due to this 20 year old, people will watch to see how President Trump responds. The direction his speech is taking tells me they will see the best of this great man. Prayers for you President Trump, and for our nation to be healed from within.

I read quite a few negative comments about Pr. Trump having to get back to his original speech. That just shows the authors do not understand Pr. Trump, or God.
God has determined that he is God’s choice for our leader to help get the world to the point that Jesus can return. A bullet that passed his head a centimeter from his skull, at the last possible moment is a very strong statement by God that He was and is in charge.
Pr. Trump will not depart from God’s will, as DJT is increasingly aware that God is guiding him.

The one speech I know for sure he authored solely was the inauguration speech. It went directly after half of the dignitaries sitting on the stage with him and committed his loyalty to us, the American People. Chilling, It had that slight out of character tone that made it sooo moving.
