Harriet Hageman is on my personal short list of people I hope President Trump is considering for vice president.
During a recent interview Hageman shows she is not going along with the pretending. Every word about Joe Biden and the length of time the issues have been visible is correct and accurate. “Who is running our country?” WATCH:
.
The full interview is below:
On “Forbes Newsroom,” Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) reacted to President Biden’s debate performance with alarm, slamming the press for its coverage of Biden, questioning who is running the U.S., and whether she supports invoking the 25th Amendment.
.

Sorry Sundance.
Love her as a MAGA legislator and potential Speaker. No question that she’s very competent …in the congress.
But sorry, she needs a hairdresser, cosmetologist, and serious fashion makeover to do anything more.
Turquoise necklaces are a dime a dozen in Wyoming, but would you ever see Melania wearing one? No.
She comes across …to me …as a school marm who got her law degree.
Has no management experience, her father was a Wyoming pol, she placed 3rd in a run for Gov, backed Cruz over Trump in ’16. Has never won a contested election. Wyoming ’22 primary against Cheney would have been won by anyone not named Liz.
I just don’t see her as VP material.
Trump gets a bum’s rush over his personnel picks in 17-20. Remember that a LOT of his 1st and 2nd picks were blocked by McConnell, virtually every early admin appointment came through McConnell, not Trump. It wasn’t until late 19 that he learned enough about the DC silo to start getting his own people in place. McConnell even preapproved his SCOTUS picks.
I’m not ‘loyal’ to anyone. I either trust them or I don’t. I trust Trump, period. I trust that he learned his lessons in DC and knows what he’s doing personnel wise this time around. If he names Hageman, so be it. Right now, I don’t see it.
Do you criticize male politicians the same way. What a superficial way to judge a legislator. 🙄
She comes across a genuine.
Narrative Control Operatives gotta find some foolish pretense to reject our host’s insights.
Even if it makes them look like an ass.
Wait. Is this a platform that allows NO disagreement with SD?
Disagree all you want. If it’s about appearance, you’ll be rightly ridiculed.
“Has no management experience, her father was a Wyoming pol, she placed 3rd in a run for Gov, backed Cruz over Trump in ’16. Has never won a contested election. Wyoming ’22 primary against Cheney would have been won by anyone not named Liz.”
I posted a long list of reasons I don’t think she’s a viable VP candidate.
Good. When you run for POTUS make sure she is on your NON-VPs.
Politics is a game of imagery, and all politicians know that they do better at that game when they are looking their best. No politician can ever get elected by telling the truth all the time, so they try to create an image of themselves that they think the vast majority of voters will like.
It is a crappy business, but so is any profession that is built around personal images. The Deep State counts on politicians to be actors instead of issue oriented public servants. It is easier to trash their public images and thereby control their actions.
.
Fetterman? Schumer?
.
People who are installed can look however they want to look.
The Deep State counts on politicians to be actors instead of issue oriented public servants.
This is the very reason she stands out so prominently to the Public.
Americans are tired of the babbling lying crap. They want capable public servants.
This woman appears to be just that.
I saw perfectly clear seems as a lot of folks are snarky these days. DONT allow it to bother you.
Those reasons I can understand. She is a newbie.
I think it would be a mistake, the main reason being we need her and more like her in Congress. It would be a waste of her talents to have her as VP.
And she does not bring any states. Also matters in this situation.
We have such a small bench that we cannibalize our best people from Congress, where they are sorely needed.
Think what a great Speaker she would be.
Exactly !!! I do like her as well but she has not been battle tested as yet.
Hasn’t her law firm been battling it out with the globalists in WY?
https://www.hagemanforwyoming.com/home
I have watched her fighting for ranchers, farmers, other natural resource companies in committee meetings. She knows how to drive home a point very well.
Mike Pence….that’s who trump picked and will pick again….so sad.
Yeah, that’s what the tv told us…
If i remember right, it was Reince Preibus that helped direct Trump to Pence< who did assist with some of the rebellion at the National Convention. To be honest, I actually liked Pence until I found out he was part of getting Trump to fire Flynn. He was having to trust folks who were wolves in sheeps clothing. Today, we are still just finding out of betrayers. Anyone who thinks they could have done better are either full of hubris or still blind to the complexity and depth and width of the Swamp.
All the Monday Morning Quarterbacks were had and are still being had as they keep electing all the swampy members in Congress. They just won’t ever admit it. They just like to pretend to be the smartest guy in the room. Actually being the smartest guy in the room isn’t a high priority for them.
Tillerson, Mnuchin, Mattis, Sessions, Kelly, Pompeo, DeVos, Chao, Perry, Zinke, Perdue, Ross, Acosta, Haley, Pruitt, Price. A great judge of character, he is not.
All you have to do is tell people what they want to hear.
Identity politics.
“I’m a Christian, Conservative, and Republican… in that order.”
–Mike Pence
Lying, Judas Pence!
^^^This^^^
It is a very hard habit to break, being a battered conservative, as we experience time and time again, someone gets on tv or the You Tubes, says something that rings to the heart of MAGA and suddenly we have a new ‘hero’ –
‘Constant Vigilance’ is the price we are asked to pay. We were never told it would be easy.
“Pence…and will pick again”
Hard to tell if you are 1) lying, 2) stupid, or 3) just ignorant.
The gop is loaded with Pences. Maybe it’s you who is 2) or 3).
I happen to like her necklace, a lot. I’ll bet you like Pelosi’s necklaces a lot better. Strings of golf balls around her botoxed neck.
I hate squash necklaces with a passion, but only because I once had a project where I had to appraise six dozen of them. Couldn’t stand the sight of them by the end.
Still agree with you and think they look better than those stupid ball necklaces EVERY Dem woman seems to wear.
Hagemen’s necklace had the right proportion and vibe for her face structure. Her hair was distracting with the wisps in upward flight. The choice of fuschia lipstick with a purple blue undertone was unfortunate and did not look sophisticated. I like her, I see her with an intensity that latches/locks on like a Pitbull. Not so sure about the dynamics with Trump mano y mano. Perhaps she is most affective in Her current roll.
This image has been shuffled all over the internet.
It’s possible her lipstick color could have been ‘enhanced’ in the same way they make Trump look orange..
Afterall, whenever someone is doing a good job- they wind up paying the price somehow.
Then there is how our monitors all show us the color- it’s possible that it looked quite different in real life.. especially to her in the lighting of her own bathroom when she put it on.
With AI and the Left working overtime to discredit, distract, smear, we should expect things like this..
Do you truly “hate” a native art/jewelry form?
Do you know what HATE is?
Oh go fix your panties elsewhere, and grow a thicker skin while you’re at it. 🙄
What is it with Pelosi and her Wilma Flintstone necklaces?
When you dress like a mannequin at costco, you look like a mannequin.
That doesn’t mean you think like a mannequin.
It just means you don’t care what people think.
My opinion only.
.
She has more real experience than Michelle Obama.
.
Not a high bar, there.
Remember what Michelle Obama looked like, when Obama was 1st a candidate for President? Not a fashion statement. Pretty plain, wouldn’t look at her twice. She was transformed by stylists. People are sweating the small stuff, by attacking her appearance which is SOOOO superficial. Let’s get brains and a pit bull attitude on our side!!!
Good points but right now we need weapons in office to blow up that mess in Washington to reset the country. Trumps a claymore mine a nice hand grenade like her might be good.
You don’t have to win elections to be VP.
All you have to do is tell people what they want to hear.
“It’s good to be back at the Council on Foreign Relations. I’ve been a member for a long time and was actually a director for some period of time. I never mentioned that when I was campaigning for re-election back home in Wyoming.”
–Dick Cheney
Also agree with these reasons; not that she’s a woman, but there’s something not quite hitting my ‘yes’ button regarding Mrs. Hagemen also. Your points fit within that inner ‘no’ voice;
but mostly – if she is as her words convey she is, and only time and House votes will tell – her best place is in the Congress, perhaps an upcoming Speaker or perhaps one day Senator from the great State of Wyoming.
Unfortunately appearance does matter for politician, especially women. Does tell a lot about voters, but we cannot replace voters.
brandon’s doing a great job at that… what is it now, about 20 million?
Unfortunately, the truly viable VP candidate has chosen his path and would never go back on his word. Mark Robinson.
But you *started* by running down her looks.
It wasn’t just about appearance. If it was, I’d agree.
“Has no management experience, her father was a Wyoming pol, she placed 3rd in a run for Gov, backed Cruz over Trump in ’16. Has never won a contested election. Wyoming ’22 primary against Cheney would have been won by anyone not named Liz.”
The truth has no agenda. Is there merit to the above complaint or no. I’m pretty sure Sundance can handle addressing valid concerns
Sorry, but optics IS a factor.
Remember, that’s why Nixon Lost in 1960.
Nixon lost due to voter fraud, primarily in Chicago.
Nixon looking disheveled and sweating didn’t help either……….As GW said, optics.
Election rigging was why Nixon lost.
Wrong. See above.
Bingo.
Wrong. See above.
No Black Knight your wrong. And this is why you’re wrong :
Sure, there was some voter fraud in Chicago as you pointed out. But that was a squeaker which just got JFK over the edge.
The REAL issue was the debate – the First Televised Debate in history, and THATS where Nixon lost it.
Everyone who heard the debate on radio said Nixon won it; however those who watched it said Kennedy won it.
WHY ??? Because JFK LOOKED Better.
And THAT cost Nixon Millions of votes – far more than the marginal voter fraud going on at that time.
Voter fraud that got him over the edge!
TY
You made my point. All else is banter.
😉
No I didn’t – YOU can’t see the Forrest because of all the trees.
Nixon lost MILLIONS of votes and several states, which he WOULD HAVE WON, rendering the little bit of cheating in Cook County and the entire state of Illinois MEANINGLESS – were it not for looking so awful on TV during the debate.
Wake up and see the Big Picture and stop getting lost in the minor details.
I would agree with you, because I believe Nixon would not have allowed the Bay of Pigs to fail – assuming he let it go forward at all.
“optics”
Remember, Nixon was spied on back then, just like Orange Man Outlaw.

What about all the people on here making remarks about Michelle Obama just because she is tall.
I dont like remarks about peoples appearance but if it’s about bad make up , stupid looking clothes and a bad haircut like in Hagemans case I think it’s ok .
I object to those who call her a male.
Well, there’s only one way to find out. Until that time, we can only speculate. Big Mike is the only one who can prove me right, or wrong.
Your objection will not change the FACT that “Michelle” Obama was born Michael Lavaughn Robinson, male. But it is still OK to object…
Right… if michelle obama is a male she’s been pretending since she was in grammar school. Absolute nonsense…
You seriously believe ANYTHING put out about these people’s history and origins?
Wow. Wake up.
I agree! We should avoid this stuff and focus on issues and policy.
Yep!
It’s not about Big Mike being tall. It’s about those linebacker shoulders and the arms of 40-IQ weight lifters.
Oh, and the dick. It’s also about Big Mikes swinging dick.
#JoanRiversWasRight
The key thing about Trump’s appearance is that he NEVER pretends to be something he is not. Unlike every single politician who campaigns through the heartland, he never puts on a plaid shirt and a pair of jeans and pretended to to ‘fit in’ with the regular people. He landed his helicopter in the middle of the field, emerged in his dark blue suit and red tie. He didn’t run away from being rich, he owned it and was completely authenticate. Even let the kids play on the chopper. lol
As for looks, well, I’m old enough to remember Sara Palin pre-makeover and designer clothes, so that isn’t a big deal.
As for experience–who gives a damn? The only thing that matters in any choice, is can they take the heat? If they can withstand a media onslaught without backing down, then they are qualified.
My first choice for anyone hired by Trump is someone who has been subject to a media hate blitz, and not apologized, backed down or in any way cucked.
A VP needs to be presentable and have gravitas.
Especially for women, regrettably. She is a wonderful woman and a great asset for our team, but there are wiser choices for VP, I believe. Hoping for Byron or Ben, actually, and praying it won’t be Tim or Doug.
“nobody smears his appearance”
That made me laugh. There is literally nothing President Trump doesn’t get criticized about and that includes appearance.
Perhaps in a perfect world, appearances wouldn’t or shouldn’t matter, but this is the real world, and appearances matter a great deal. If they didn’t, mirrors would be obsolete because people wouldn’t care what they looked like, and a plethora of businesses would surely go bankrupt. Try going on a business call or to an executive interview looking like a hippy or a vagrant and see how far that gets you. It’s called optics, and they matter. Whether they should or not is up for debate, but they DO matter.
She doesn’t look like either one.
Disagreement is fine. Lies and pretending are not.
Standby for the ‘narative control agent” accusations.
The narrative announces itself, knowingly or unknowingly.
The poster did not disagree with Sundance. This is not an opinion. Sundance posted a video of the congresswoman answering questions about the imposter’s performance. The poster responded by insulting Ms. Hageman’s clothing and appearance.
Is that what you see?
You can disagree with SD or anyone who comments. When you post a foolish comment you are fair game to me countered with comments. Respectfully.
Well I’m glad to see you’re so afraid of her. That reinforces my view that she’s a great candidate.
In case you don’t know, Harriet has spent most of her life as a natural resources attorney (lots of resources in Wyoming). In other words, she’s dealt with what some might say is overreaching and even corrupt government. That kind of litigation requires CEO skills. The courtroom on big money cases is also where the rubber meets the road. Harriet has the knowledge and skills to stand up and fight.
But of course you emphasize she needs a makeover. I have no interest in her appeal to a guy like you. She can wear whatever the heck she likes and still take on superficial people like yourself. When was the last time you had a makeover?
Yes, in their world appearance is everything. And they want everyone in lockstep — everyone looking just like everyone else.
While Harriet’s style might not be my style, I find it refreshing that she is an individual and that she promotes her heritage.
💥
Appearance is important and to judge it only as superficial just because some look at it that way is short sighted. A more attractive hair style, different lipstick more in tune with her age and maybe different glasses is all she really needs to look more attractive. Hardly a make over per sea. Why shouldn’t her looks match her intelligence. Everyone no matter what they say in opposition, appreciate a person who dresses and grooms themselves to look their best. Some people left to their own devices aren’t very good at it and need a little help.
Yes, this is the level I’m talking about. Sundance is all about not pretending and there are a lot of people on here pretending that presentation is not important. I’m talking about smoothing some edges that get in the way of her communication. Whatever she has done, the national stage is a level up and, like it or not, the optics do matter. Not even sure how that is debatable.
Funny how we don’t seem to judge the guys that way nearly as often.
I can’t disagree with what you say, but perhaps the difference between us is I live in the the West and Harriet’s style is familiar to me. I don’t mind that Harriet Hageman doesn’t look like an anchor on a news show or a “cloned” professional woman in a suit and blouse with a bit of “tasteful” jewelry. In fact, I kind of like her being true to her ranch background. Maybe you aren’t as comfortable with Western style?
As a woman, I can tell you that I follow “trends” and make an attempt to “be in style” (meet cultural expectations for how I should look). But when I was younger I resented having to do that. Over time I evolved a style that worked “in the culture” and also worked for me, but it took some time to fit “expectations” with what I like.
I would prefer that girls and women wouldn’t have to meet “standards” imposed on them about what is the “right thing” to wear and the “right way to look.” Granted, that probably won’t happen, but I whole heartedly approve of Harriet making her own style choices. I also expect she’s been too busy to get involved in “looking the way people expect her to look” (in case you don’t know, it does take some time and effort).
You vil notice nutink!!
😆
And be happy.
🤣
Will not eat zee bugz…!!
Or some people may have insights our leader has never concerned himself about. I think it is trivial, too. But I have watched a lot of pretty faces on mindless heads win because of human nature. The opposite is also true about human nature. He has a good point. The air head from California has only won elections due to the apolitical female voters.
I don’t see it as a slight to SD. Differing PoV can be healthy… but to judge a woman legislator for something men legislators are not judged on is ridiculous.
Call it pattern recognition.
Women legislators have no balls . .
FACT CHECK: They certainly have more balls than the republicans...
Some of them might- who knows today.
Oh come on. We spent months mocking Ron’s lifts, we’ve ragged on Rep Jabba the Nadler, and people call Pedo Joe “Plugs” in comments on the daily.
Women may get the majority of shallow comments, but to make the claim men are exempt is ridiculous.
Not to mention Fetterman. 😂
Please don’t.
“something men legislators are not judged on”
For these and many more examples I think your comment is quite incorrect. Note my comment has nothing to do with Hageman’s looks, only your supposition.
I thought Dukakis lost in large part because he cried. And back then we thought all men should be tough and not cry. Now we think it shows his gentle side which culture now embraces.
I thought he lost because of that Willie Horton snafu.
Petty and superficial….as if any of us are without flaw.
Men get judged by the same nonsense that women get judged by on election day. Maybe even more so.
Men are men. Women are women. We can rail against the injustive of it but the REALITY is women ARE judged more on their appearance than men and their appearance has a lot more variations than men. There are some adjustments that could be made where she will still look like herself but better. Both men and women WILL judge her appearance, like it or not.
You’re missing something here. Men ALL wear the exact same UNIFORM in professional situations – a suit (usually dark gray or blue), shirt and tie. Shirt and khakis, perhaps with a sport jacket, to be a little more casual.
Women aren’t bound by these rules. So it’s pants or skirt suits, dresses with jackets, dresses alone or separates. What makes it look professional (or not) are the style and color choices and the quality of the fabric. Then there’s make-up, hair and accessories. It’s all about what look you’re telegraphing, and whether you can pull it off. The camera is not your friend. Hageman just needs a few easy fixes, softening of the hair color and make-up.
Finally, have you forgotten how everyone trashes Fetterman?
Your comments about her appearance and jewelry DO make you look like an ass.
Sometimes I like to remind myself this site is, as we have been told in the comment guidelines, ‘This Is A Conversation” – and
we are such battered conservatives that any comment, voice, or opinion that doesn’t kowtow to the majority optics one must of course be an ‘operative’.
If we can’t figure out how to have conversation with each other here, how the heck are we going to have conversation with those who have no conception of the strings being pulled?
Geesh.
(and of course, now I will be deemed part of a tag-team, ’cause that’s how it works, right?)
Ah good grief Maquis. Again?
Let’s put looks aside.
She may come across as genuine, but she is seriously lacking in political experience at any level. I’m not in favor of a lifelong swamp creature as VP, but the VP has to stand up to Congress.
Donald Trump was seriously lacking in political experience. Political experience is what got us into to this mess.
Yes and No. Political inexperience is what cost Trump two years of his Presidency with McConnell’s RINO and Uniparty appointees. He learned the hard way and now knows how to win the DC games.
You have a point there. How I want him to win again… with his now understood experience. And he has nothing to lose… he won’t run for reelection.
True, IF one can learn their crooked games WITHOUT BEING CORRUPTED BY THOSE GAMES.
Since your are our resident political expert, what coarse of action should he have taken for two years, and by the way did you forget that he was blocked from making recces appointments. People like you always have the answer, but never get around to actually applying it to real life.
There is nothing much more Trump could have done given our system and the GOPe attempt to StopTrump.
President Trump found other ways to make America work like America was designed to work. They* had to stop him, and they did. They released a virus and claimed it would kill millions and shut down an economic powerhouse in the making. And they* knew what they were doing.
*the deep state
“course” lol
He should have gone after career pretenders.
“I gave the Steele Dossier to no one except for the director of the FBI.”

I agree with this outline. The still existing problem (one) is that of 2-faced, swamp-soaked lizards that possibly/probably will undermine him again. PJDT is a GOOD Man, and as such, tends to ‘trust’ until that trust is proven to be in error, and by that time, untold damage has been done. I hope that VERY deep dives are taken with regard to any person he gathers to him to effectively proceed with the massive load he is attempting for ALL of people.
In hindsight, “political experience” SEEMS TO BE A BAD THING. Look at the liar/thief/traitor TRASH THAT it has produced. Maybe that’s why Trump is a REAL AND PATRIOTIC PERSON, INSTEAD. {And btw, what was barack oscuma’s “political experience” before it was installed in the White House? The biggest “qualification” is ability to STEAL ELECTIONS.}
He lacked elected office experience, but he knew politics about as well as anyone.
.
She’s a lawyer who is actually intelligent and now in Congress. How long do you think it takes?
.
Did I miss something??? Was she named as PDJT’s VP?
H. Hageman has no problems standing up to Congress. As a matter of fact, she does it more than many others.
Hageman is a breath of fresh air for the MAGA PARTY.
Agree. And as I said, if Trump picks her, I’m ok with her.
Just pointed out a set of facts which none of the naysayers have contradicted.
You are correct. And yes, even the hair and makeup make a difference. It’s reality, like it or not.
What good has political experience done for any American?
she has been VERY serious in her job in Congress, have you watched her at all?
You are so wrong. As a natural resources litigator she’s been fighting overreach and corruption her whole life. If you’re going to comment, don’t lie and throw out buzz words you think will appeal to emotions.
You may find this hard to believe, but the lady has reached a point in her life where she doesn’t need to focus on her looks. She’s the real deal. She has the smarts and experience to get the job done and apparently her husband, who is also an attorney, likes the whole package.
But of course you might be a person who is happier with an “experienced” guy like Biden who has had several makeovers.
I posted facts. You don’t like facts. You didn’t contradict one. You’re a partisan. I get that. Good for you.
Me. I just want Trump to win and bring some down-ticket Senators and Congressmen with him.
Projection anyone?
You don’t behave as if you want President Trump to win. You behave like a progressive.
First, you think you know better than President Trump. Your claim that his political inexperience is the reason for his troubles is ludicrous. His problems came about due to the entire uniparty fighting everything he tried to do, including his appointments. Hot news flash: What makes President Trump so great is that he isn’t a typical politician. Unlike the progressive lackies that populate your world, he knows how to get things done for the good of the country and the people.
Second, when a thoroughly professional woman like Harriet Hageman speaks up, you avoid her message and try to attack her personally by ignoring her achievements and by focusing on what you see as her lack as a woman.
You need to go back to propaganda school. So far you’re 0 for 0.
Complete mischaracterization of what he posted.
No, it isn’t. If you think otherwise, point out the issues. I responded not only to his various posts in the thread, but also to his first post at the top of the thread.
As for you, in normal discourse you don’t get to just throw down a statement to tell people what is true or not. What you are expected to do is to give your reasons for your opinion.
So in this case, you messed up by not saying where there was a “mischaracterization.” But I suspect you don’t care. Your goal is to stir the pot and you hope there are people like you who will say, “Gosh, Karen said it was a mischaracterization, so it must be true.”
It’s interesting you chose Karen for your handle. It fits.
Your “facts” are nothing less than faulty opinion.
I like your comparison, joe bidet, one of the best examples of “poly ticks “experience””.
Ad hominem is very becoming of you.
What lie did I tell?
I don’t give a rat’s Pelosi about her looks. I care that being a natural resources litigator in Wyoming isn’t great preparation for the bare knuckle brawling that goes on in the swamp.
You tried to claim Harriet Hageman is lacking in political experience of any kind. That is a lie.
Then you said you wanted someone who will stand up to Congress. Are you aware that you are in a discussion about a video where Harriet is not only standing up to Congress but to the world? She is publicly speaking the truth when most are trying to cover it up. It’s almost as if you’re so hyped up about trying to knock her down that you can’t even remember what started the conversation you’re participating in (her video).
These types are either stupid or intent upon helping along a narrative to StopTrump.
Could be both I suppose. Any claim that Hageman lacks experience can be proven false by her resume, just as any claim that only their preferred experience is acceptable.
Hageman is not perfect, neither is President Trump. Both are real Americans, and that is the #1 factor.
Couldn’t agree with you more!
There is a serious chance this VP could wind up as the President.
So I do agree here somewhat with the points he’s raising.
The person that Trump picks as VP does need to be qualified in both looks, optics, ability and qualification to run the nation if need be.. because that is very real possibility.
This VP does need to be pretty damned solid and ready to move up if need be.
When you think about it that way, it’s valid points in my opinion.
I don’t care if she looks like a horses ass if she is a fighter and can go against the deep state. I’m personally tired of all the maked up, caked up, face tightened, botoxed, hair weaved FAKES
Ditto
.
There’s nothing wrong with her “looks”.
Or her “qualifications” as an actually practicing trial lawyer who grew up immersed in politics (father) — think she learned nothing from him?
She must be really scary for some reason, as I didn’t ever see comments this distastful about Ben Carson or Kari Lake…
.
I have no issue with that. It should be about their drive, experience and policies.
Look what political experience has got us. $35 Trillion in debt, depending on whose numbers one believes, $100 Trillion to $220 Trillion in Unfunded Liabilities of Uncle Sam, & I saw those numbers published 3 or 4 years ago. No telling what it is today. We need Leaders that are rational, not in search of Power for sake of Power. That leaves out most of Congress & the Entire Democrat Party, which today is a Massive Organized Criminal Syndicate.
Yes, yes I do.
I agree that she comes across as genuine.
If there was a male VP candidate who dressed similarly (in male attire), I’d criticize them the same way.
If you read any of my previous posts, you’ll see I favor other female candidates, so it’s not sexism per se.
But you focus only on one point and ignore the even more valid arguments.
I’m going to give you a break here with thoughts about customs, attire, and trends.
PDJT^, unless he is on the golf course always wears a white shirt, tie and jacket.
I do not “rule out” others who choose to wear a crew neck shirt and a hoodie.
The sign of the times allows all kinds of dress. I personally respect the people who dress RESPECTFULLY.
Call me old fashioned if you choose. I don’t care. Do you???
Trump’s orange look is not in his favor.
He isn’t orange and never has been.
The MisLeadia just lights him that way – every time.
ORANGE MAN GREAT!!
They just sprayed Biden orange too so it must be pretty cool they figured.
Ìt has worked fine so far!
Got anything better?
I want Trump to win and bring some of the down-ticket Senator and Rep seats with him.
Right now, on both 538 and Real Clear Politics, Trump is winning but he’s not bringing down-tickets along. AZ, NV, MT, OH, etc are all Trump >4+ but the Senate seats are <3+.
She can certainly carry the MAGA vote …but will she help down-ticket?
I care. Do you?
I think Trump will pull all those along with him come election day. Nobody is going to help down ticket, those guys and gals have to PROVE themselves, just like President Trump does every time he goes out to present himself. Nobody is responsible for their races. They have to learn to fight like he does. Not be dead weight
I think those President Trump endorses will do well.
They almost always do. Fraud nukes some.
agreed. Well said.
“Without drastic, nearly unprecedented action now, they may be on the way not only to losing the White House, but to significant losses in Senate, House, state and local races as well. Without the incentive to turn out, many Democratic voters might simply stay at home, with enormous down-ballot consequences.”

PDJT’s endorsement is not going to pull the guy in Nevada to the win, just now he’s running campaign commercials defending (and mis-representing) past statements he’s made that the current Nevada Senator has been running against him before he even won the primary, and he received PDJT’s endorsement.
So it is important for the down-ticket candidates to learn to fight, unfortunately, the one in Nevada gives off the “I’m the next Dan Crenshaw” vibe while his opponent is an old Harry Reid acolyte who knows how to work the smaller Nevada county mindset even as her commercials lie like thunder in a mountain downpour, she’s still going to win unless the Nevada guy can pull out a miracle.
Wasn’t it President Trump, who they claim did not win in 2020, the candidate with the coattails? I seem to recall seeing a lot of the down ballot republicans won while the guy at the top “lost”
Huge tell of the vast amount of cheating necessary to pretend Trump lost.
This was an earlier comment from p-squared that I think plays into this… “I care that being a natural resources litigator in Wyoming isn’t great preparation for the bare knuckle brawling that goes on in the swamp.”
My VP choice is Kari Lake but Hageman is fine. Give me any VP that is REAL MAGA. I think Trump wins regardless of VP choice.
I appreciate your replies in this thread William and I am curious on who your choice is… if not Hageman, who would you chose?
About polls that exist for the purpose of reinforcing opinion of the people paying the pollsters? Abso-freaking-lutely not.
And you think the VP choice will make this better? You think 538 and RCP are honest purveyors of information?
Keep making jokes and we’ll keep laughing.
I don’t care about her hair conditioner or lip gloss, I love the serious demeanor in her eyes and her focus on the subject matter. She is focused and efficient on the material that needs to be addressed. She is professional, clean and presentable, even if you don’t like the style. Personally, I think the native turquoise jewelry gives her an edge.
I love her jewelry!!!
I couldn’t agree with you more, fireside_d. This is a serious woman, with a serious and clearly delineated purpose; on a mission to restore integrity to governance – at least in the House of Representatives.
There is only one reason I prefer that she not cross over into the Executive Branch, in any capacity at this time. We desperately need U.S. House Members who are ready, able, and most importantly willing, to restore regular order in the House, and to eschew all of what the Members have permitted to become business as usual.
If the folks here were representative of the country as a whole, we wouldn’t be in this mess. OF COURSE we don’t care and it is not what we would make our judgement based on. That is not a lot of voters. Unfortunately.
I understand what you mean.. and I don’t think you are wrong.
But here is the thing.
We can’t elect ‘experienced’ Swampers to then drain the swamp.
If we are looking to draw from the pool of good Americans out here that actually want to do this job, they are not going to be all polished up and experienced.
There will be a steep learning curve and mistakes made.. but this is what we get if we don’t want these politicians that really are destroying the country.
I myself may gamble on the woman with bad hair and cheap accessories vs. the wealthy elites that want me dead.
So would I, but that wasn’t the question.
Just an unfortunate bad hair day – we all have them.
Not true. I agree with the other points being aired. I think we are better than judging her fashion and style. Very few in DC have style. Trump can look ridiculous, but I judge his heart, drive and policies.
.
When does Trump “look ridiculous”?
.
When the msm want him to look ‘off’, they can.
Trump never looks ridiculous – are you bogus?
.
What other female candidates do you “favor”?
.
“True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within.”
–Saul Alinsky
“Mitch McConnell had advised me, correctly, that Fauci would be a valuable member of the team because of his stature.”
–Mike Pence, So Help Me God
You do not make valid arguments. You state opinions that are rightly criticized by Americans.
Well, hang on there. I really like Harriet Hageman, BUT I was a bit taken aback by her look and feel like some tweaks in that department would do her a world of good. These things do matter whether they should or not. I’m fine with the turquoise though!!!
just what we need … women going after women for how the dress…..this is NOT a beauty contest.
Can we just get real for a moment. Optics matter. I’m a huge fan of Harriet Hageman.
Well getting down to optics,do you know the real value of that turquoise around her neck ,I will give you a clue ,I could not afford it.
I said I liked the necklace…
Two sides have been declared evne though there are not really two sides and so you can only be with one or the other. Sheesh. My response was very similar to yours – my first impression. Doesn’t mean that I would base my vote on it but we are not most Americans.
optics be damned I will take ORIGINAL versus fake every day. Substance versus lies and con jobs.
You can’t win and damn the optics
Telegenics mattering is how we get shotbags up and down Congress. More constitution and limited government. Less voter sponsored facelifts and makeup.
You can not wave a magic wand and make the optics suddenly not matter.
There are some women who are fashion professionals that many women pay for the advise.
Your correct it’s not a beauty contest. IMO it’s about looking the best you can whether that’s a man or a woman, especially if they’re in the public eye. Some people can do that on their own others sometimes just need a little help.
To me her look is reflective of her area of the country- I’d suppose.
Women from Florida have a totally different thing going on..
Look at what Minnesota’s representative of Somalia looks like..
Bingo.
Omar looks like the majority Somali immigrant district she represents. Could she win in Wyoming?
Having lived in Casper, Wy for a while, I’d say no.
Can Hageman help Lake in AZ? Lake already has the MAGA vote locked up. She’s still behind.
We NEED Lake almost as much as we do Trump. Trump needs those Senate seats in order to get Flynn and Patel approved. This election is about Trump …but it’s also about carrying the Senate and House.
Lake needs to work harder then. Trump can’t carry them all over the finish line. I’m sorry they are lacking in something … not getting their message across.
Lake is being blocked by the rigged system of Soro’s backed Dem’s in AZ. The corrupt machine is on full blast here in AZ.
Lake doesn’t have the support of Somalia’s death squads.

Superficial and sexist… unlike the male slobs in Congress dress and style accordingly. There are plenty of bad fashion styles and comb-overs… many of them could also lose weight and be in better shape.
Even John Fetterman can apply himself, if needed.
Should I bring up Jerry Nadler’s look?
Clearly his fashion consultants have done him a disservice.
(yes I am laughing)
Rosa DeLauro.
The first time I saw Rosa DeLaura speaking in congress, at a congressional hearing, I believe it was during the “2008 financial crisis” when obama was running for president. I knew then that our country was in big trouble and that I had been asleep too long. I knew if someone like her got elected to represent the people, we had a serious problem. True story.
😱
Goodness gracious! We have an alzheimer’s patient nominally running the country, no idea of who is really running it. A sizeable proportion of the population are fine with that. We have a VP of dubious qualification. We are doing everything we can to provoke our way into a hot war.
And here we are debating whether a clear thinking and speaking woman would need to have a cosmetic makeover in order to be an acceptable VP candidate.
I have to admit, “goodness gracious!” was not the expletive that first came to mind.
They cheat.
I to thought her necklace was very becoming. Trends on what’s supposed to be in or out in jewelry is one trend everyone should just say no to and go their own way.
That last bit was concerning how we can protect the republic. To me that hints at limiting presidential power, which of course would affect the next President.
And sharp as a tack!
How about this one. Hageman was a friend of Liz Cheney.
This is an absolute fact. Whenever you put women in male spaces they immediately create rules to control male impulses. Look at the average fraternities in college. They are walking on eggshells because the Panhellenic Council in every college in dominated by women. And they immediately put rules into place to punish fraternities from doing what men do. We will not be controlled by females. F. You!
Agree, the Left see visual, first off, the whole DEI stuff. Leave it with them. Go expertise.
It’s why JB Pritzker will never be president.
He’s a fat pig with love-handles on his neck.
He’s revolting to look at.
Criticizing anyone male or female this way is silly. Why do Americans buy into the ridiculous establishment construct that or leaders should follow some Hollywood scripted look and phony personna offering bumper sticker phrases and vacuous pablum ideas. That’s where the Clinton’s, Obamas and Newsomes live. F’em
It’s called reality. And even as a woman who very much tends to judge people by their words and deeds, my first (honest) reaction was I was repulsed. She definitely would need a makeover and y’all can judge me however you want. Seriously, would we be in the mess we are if the Body Politic was less superficial?
Absolutely. 👍🏻 Hageman is almost always wearing some sort of turquoise or western-looking jewelry. Sometimes cowboy hats and boots too. The horror. That being said, when you’re no longer a youngster managing your look requires some care. Her make-up needs some adjustment for the camera, and her hair color is too dark, and aging. A few tweaks by a stylist, easy fix.
She’s very smart, on the correct side of things and no BS.
Perhaps that’s her natural hair color ?
Yes, we do. Rand Paul’s hairstyle , Christie’s obesity, Ron’s mannerisms, Jim Jordan’s lack of suit jackets, Fetterman wearing tracksuits, etc. Don’t play the sexism card here.
Exactly! As someone that won’t play the Uni-Party’s games.
I agree with you totally, William Hindman. MAGA congress woman …YES!!! VP … er not at all.
She is exactly what we need in the house, and a few clones as well. Too many RINOS in Congress who are swayed by the power and lose sight of the country’s needs.
Let her champion Wyoming , they are fortunate to have her.
Sorry Sundance, first time I think my humble opinion differed from yours.
For different reasons, I agree. We’re like moths to a flame at the magik juju words. It’s as if we’re programmed to bite if the speaker is a woman or black…even though we know they’ll betray us.
Let’s see some legislative accomplishments that roll back the tide. Then I’ll be on board.
I’ve previously said I like Hageman as a VP pick, but mainly because it would drive Liz Cheney insane. But you make a lot of good points, WH. No matter who Trump picks they have to fulfill several requirements.
1) Capable of being President on day 1. Hageman would likely get run over by the deep state, just as Comey did to Flynn.
2) Able to carry a critical State in the electoral college.
3) Able to carry the mantel for 8 years after Trump’s second term.
As much as I like Hageman, I think she’s O-3 on those counts. Nice to think about, but she’s solid in the House. She should stick with that. Just my two cents.
2) I don’t think the VP has to carry a major state. I’d be pleased if the choice could attract some independents still wavering on Trump himself and help win some of the tight down-ticket races.
I’m convinced Trump will win regardless of who his VP is. At this point I think only Mikey has a chance against him and not a good one at that.
But we REALLY need to win some of the close down-ticket races where Trump is leading by >4 but the Senate candidate is trailing. A VP that Trump trusts and can help down-ticket would be a positive.
those candidates have to sell themselves better. I am sorry but I’d like to win those seats as well but he can’t be expected to carry everyone to victory. Election day might see a massive turn to the R down ticket but his seat matters most. I just want a win for him. They’ll block everything he tries to do anyways just like the GOP congress is doing now. So I see no reason to own both houses. The GOP is spineless Trump will rule by EO just like Biden is doing
I wish I shared your optimism WH, but the Dems are going to cheat as mentioned in the earlier post about James Clyburn and in person visits to swing districts in swing States. Moreover, “The Big Reveal” about Biden’s dementia wasn’t and accident. The communists who have infiltrated our government at every level didn’t come this far to simply say, “well, we tried but you got us. Maybe next time.” They threw Biden under the bus for a reason. The reason is they need plausible deniability. They know the American people won’t fall for Biden winning again by fraud. Enter Michelle Obama. She gives them plausible deniability they need to carry out the steal this time. In other words, if Biden gets 100 million votes nobody would buy it. But if Michelle gets 100 million votes, they’ll say “well of course, everyone loves Michelle.” In any case, I don’t think a Trump victory is at all in the bag. They will cheat, and they really don’t care if we know it. But they’ll give it a little window dressing if they can. P.S. I appreciate you original comment about Hageman. I like her. A lot. But everything you said was spot on. Trump could do worse in the VP stakes. But he can do better also.
.
Yeah Mikey. What a fashion plate.
.
I am being educated by your concise posts. Thanks.
“mantle” lol (Unless you’re a Swede or a Finn.)
Your shallowness cracks me up. For only so long. Then I pity your superficial outlook.
By the way, what do you think of Rachel Levine?????
Not a single response to any of the facts I cited.
Facts, where are the foot notes. You are talking like there is choice between the rino’s in congress.Must be frustrating to be so smart and no where to make a dime for it.And now that you come to be the center of attraction!!!
That is a sign that people do not dispute your facts, but do not agree with your opinions.
Here’s the refutation you’re looking for.
You’re right in that looks is fair game on this site, because we’ve made it fair game on this site. All’s fair in love and war. Yes, we were being petty and malicious when we attacked DeSantis’s looks, but sometimes it just feels good; however, that was mainly due to throwing off steam caused by DeSantis’s caustic supporters.
Clearly, nobody here voted against DeSantis based on his looks. That was just icing on the cake. And you did look just as petty and malicious when you pointed out Hageman’s looks.
Yes, there are plenty of shallow people in the US who will vote based on looks, and some effort *should* be done to mitigate those issues but ONLY because those are low-hanging fruits in the vote department. Useful idiots can be useful to anyone who is smart enough to use them, but the wolf never cares what the sheep think. Nor should he.
Nobody expects politicians to be beautiful. That’s the exception to the rule when they are beautiful. Also, Melania’s beauty did little to bring votes to the table. At the same time, nobody voted against Trump because of his orange color. If they didn’t have that to attack, they would just find something else.
Where you went south is the part about experience. There are plenty of people in Congress who have “experience,” and that’s precisely why we don’t like them. They’re all just part and parcel of the same old corruption.
Give me an inexperienced person whose heart is in the right place, and I’ll vote for them. Continuing to vote for “experience” is precisely why we have such a corrupt government. That’s the definition of “insanity,” doing the same things over and over again, expecting a different result. That’s the mindset that needs to change. Time to think outside the box.
That’s the reason we voted for Trump, someone who had no experience but whose heart was in the right place. I’m just a little surprised that you added the part about how Trump has learned his lesson and now things will be right as rain, as though you didn’t expect there would be a learning curve associated with the inexperience we voted for.
Are you saying optics don’t matter? Hello Nixon vs Kennedy.
For people who don’t care about facts…
It’s not like Trump today is a looker. But he is THE man, when it comes to his love for America and her citizens.
People don’t support Trump for his looks.
I think there is a tag team here that has decided to see how much time they could make people on this site waste.
Bye y’all.
… or perhaps an AI bot.
Now ‘bye.
.
Where are you and others getting this sht? Nixon lost to Kennedy in a close race because of Dem cheating in Chicago. Later won, and then again in a landslide.
.
https://www.biography.com/political-figures/kennedy-nixon-debate-televised-importance
.
Eh? Link evidences nothing. Nixon did not lose because of the debate. Kennedy “squeaked by” with cheating from the Chicago Dem machine.
.
NOPE.
See Above.
And just to make sure there’s no further misconception – Nixon Lost several states – which we would have Won – had he not looked so awful in the debate and won the debate.
Those states would have put Nixon well over 270 and that little bit of cheating in Cook County would have rendered Illinois Meaningless.
Some misinterpreting on your part. Voters were asked who did they tink won that debate. The majority of people who watched it on television said Kennedy because he looked vibrant compared to Nixon who had the 5 o’ clock shadow going and sweating which was noticable even in black – and – white. However, the majority of the people polled who listened to the debate on the radio said Nixon won hands down.
Uh NO outhouse. You’re WRONG !!!
I’ve stated this elsewhere: The little bit of cheating that went on in Chicago was only enough to squeak Kennedy through.
Nixon Lost MILLIONS OF VOTES because of the debate, and that little bit of Chicago cheating would have been utterly irrelevant had Nixon looked at least as good as Kennedy.
Look at you, riveting in on all the extraneous and useless crap that has ruined DC. Screw telegenics. Govern as if your only job is to leave for us all the freedoms you can possibly safely leave us.
“Has no management experience, her father was a Wyoming pol, she placed 3rd in a run for Gov, backed Cruz over Trump in ’16. Has never won a contested election. Wyoming ’22 primary against Cheney would have been won by anyone not named Liz.”
Extraneous and useless crap?
.
Yes crap. She’s a major case trial lawyer, admitted in several states and to the Supreme Court, who actually ran her own law firm and has extensive experience fighting the government, in administrative resource law, and who, unlike most politicians, actually can read and analyze legislation.
Perhaps you could compare her to Rubio, who never did anything with his law degree except run motormouth and step’n’fetchit for Ross-Lehtinen and Bush… or DeSantis who also has never practiced save for being “attached” to SEALS as their assistant urinalysis coordinator. (Such beauties, too) .
You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about — and if you did, you wouldn’t have supplemented with the appearance commentary
.
We want outsiders loyal to Trump, not the System. Experience be damned, they got there by being compromised. I realize you don’t want some amateur who’ll get rolled, so I say amateur swarm! Let’s pick that hypothetical 200 people from the phone book as sand in the gears!
We need tons of sand. I’m going to work for Kamala and the Dems in any way I can as a sapper, because I hate those creatures with the heat of a thousand suns. If God is merciful he’ll give us a Kamala, a Big Mike, a Buttigeig and bring this stupid to a roiling boil.
Destroy the Repubs running interference, and the mask will fall off the naked face of the tyrants. Can’t bring the crowd over if they can’t see the enemy. Down with both Parties, down with the collaborators, down with the System!
Until these traitorous cretins are arrested and tried, the deep state will continue to sabotage everything President Trump tries to do. To me, what is important is rounding up the perpetrators of the crimes committed against our Republic and trying them in a Court of Law. Until we do that, I doubt much can change.
“trying them in a JUST Court of Law.”
There’s a time for realism, that’s true, and thinking we had that time is how we got here.
Time’s run out; this is a time for Josey Wales, this here is a time when you gotta get plumb mad-dog mean.
Sundance – Harriet Hageman vs William Hindman – nobody…
Hmmm Sundance Harriet Hageman for the win… William Hindman the critic no answer is still wondering who…
I like Harriet Hageman she cuts through the crap and is focused on the real issue… Nobody has made her flinch…
I also like JD Vance.
Trump is not going to pick a conservative setting US Senator from a state with a RINO Governor who would appoint himself or another RINO to the seat. Just don’t believe it.
well that rules out Vance … which I’m glad. He’s a RINO, liar. Carson is his safest choice … or Byron Donalds. Both are spot on
I don’t give a hoot what she looks like. I care how well she performs, and this woman performs quite well! Thank you very much.
dang…so we having a beauty contest for VP? say it aint so 😛
I’m just not that exercised as to trump’s vp pick, it is a nothin post on day to day basis, stand in for ceremonies, etc, ok on campagin trail, agree with those, she belongs in congress where she can’bring it” almost on a daily basis. in short, look at the vps in the past, unless murder occurs for the cretin lbj, much ado about nothing.
His pick gets first shot in 2028, if we still have a country then. It’s pretty important this time around.
No Republican woman is going to get onto the cover of Vogue magazine regardless of looks. None of the ‘fashionable’ media gave one second or one inch of positive coverage to a truly beautiful woman like Melania because she was married to PDJT. Yet “Dr.*” Jill, Moochelle, even Hillary got fawning coverage and the best makeover wizardry available.
I don’t care about looks. I am not dating her. I don’t care about pretentious institution-awarded credentials. I don’t care if she has labored some requisite number of years in the Swamp trying to shovel together a steaming-heap of of seniority.
I want ability and common sense. She seems to have both.
That bimbo interviewer Brittany whatsername has decent looks; blonde, young, perky, good makeup, professionally garbed and accessorized. She has her bona fides there prominently on display behind her – an emmy and some other glitzy award (they do love those shiny awards statues don’t they.) From her accent (or lack thereof) she is likely from some midwest or coastal state with a large population. She probably attended a prestigious university fairly recently. She shows a certain persistence in pushing the questions she has been told to ask.
I wouldn’t trust Brittany the-Forbes-gal to run a hotdog stand! She is earnest but sounded dumb as a post.
My take on the Forbes interviewer as well. Dumb as post!
She comes across as extremely intelligent. I really don’t care what she wears. She is honest and that is hard to come by in Washington DC.
PS..I really do not trust Trump on personnel. I seriously hope someone else is doing the choosing, Melania comes to mind. She is the quiet one in the background hopefully vetting those who will be around her husband for his 2nd term.
I trust Trump. Else I’d not vote for him. Took him 2 years to figure out a way around McConnell’s hold on Cabinet appointments. He’s got it now. Trust him.
I’ll take bad hair and competent any day. But, I wish you a great evening
I don’t think her looks should make any difference, but I agree with you that they do. For a large percentage of undecided voters the election is a beauty contest. This goes for men and women candidates. Obama won his first term because of the tendency of women voters to pick the best looking man. Men cannot say they don’t do the same thing where women candidates are concerned. It is human nature, and voters who don’t pay attention to politics more readily resort to looks as a criterion. So, we shouldn’t gaslight that looks shouldn’t matter.
The only thing that matters to me is that we can get Trump back into the White House. I don’t want anything about his VP choice to hurt that chance. Thanks for your comments, WH.
Handmade Native American Antique and Vintage Turquoise is Certainly Not a Dime a Dozen , I don’t care what State You Live In !
Just sayin !
As for Melania , or Anybody Else , Everyone has Different Tastes in Jewelry .. I think That is a Good Thing !
Ridiculous, superficial and petty comment. I think she looks awesome and original. She has always impressed me during hearings. I don’t want a “beauty Queen” as VP. LOL.
.
WTF? You got upvotes for this? Like Mitch McConnell or Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton etc. etc. etc. are such beauties? Woman looks just fine to me.
.
I’ve liked some of her appearances in committees but there is something I don’t trust about her. It’s in her eyes. Is that a shallow observation? Probably. But without knowing her I’d avoid her.
The eyes have a bit of obsessive-compulsive leanings.
Superficial and arrogant. I’m blessed not knowing you.
You sound like a chick! Who gives a shit, at least she is authentic!!!
She is one of the few genuine people in DC.
Further, Hagemen has the grit and loyalty that the others don’t!
Pres. Trump would do well to have her there to protect him when times get tough.
Other than that, she is beautiful.
Your words are just that words , they don’t mean anything
She’s pure Wyoming and as a former resident, I’m OK with that. Some of the most intelligent, hardworking, down to earth people you will ever meet.
Well you will agree that almost anything is better than the cadaver in the whitehouse we have now.😳
You forgot to end the paragraph with “no homo” 🤣🤣🤣. Bro, calm down with the critiques
hairdresser and cosmetologist? wth? I couldn’t care less what she looks like – not a consideration whatsoever. kinda sounds like the people who despise DJT’s hairstyle…
Baby, you are obviously not a lawyer. I’ll bet Hageman kicks butt in court. And I would know.
LoL…GTFOH
Sorry your girl lost in 2016
You are the shallow pretender type that has kneeled to Hollywood and probably thinks ‘experts’ are intelligent enough to control our lives.
Haven’t you learned your lesson yet about all those polished turds in politics?
Wow, I bet you are fun at parties………
So how is Kamala doing? Say what you want be she is only unattractive when she opens her mouth.
“But sorry, she needs a hairdresser, cosmetologist, and serious fashion makeover to do anything more.
Turquoise necklaces are a dime a dozen in Wyoming, but would you ever see Melania wearing one? No.
She comes across …to me …as a school marm who got her law degree.”
Spoken like a true fan of ‘queer eye for the straight guy’
Who needs your makeover hints? It’s Madison Ave guys like you that gave us what passes for fashion these days. Skinny suits with too short pants and sleeves. Just to show off the brightly colored socks and BROWN shoes. Frank and Dino are spinning in their graves.
You want your kind of polished, go vote for who obamma puts up next.
Bill, you sound like all the other superficial nitwits who don’t want to vote for Trump because he’s mean. Substance over style man, do you want a hardscrabble, straight talking, street fighter to defend our country, our rights and the people or do you want a smarmy, slick, mealy mouthed tyrant who dresses nice, talks politely and sells us out to China, big corporations and the globalists who want to control everything and everybody? I want the tough guy, Trump.
I think that many of us are looking for someone in the political class who “talks the talk,” and right now, other than DJT, she’s the Lone Ranger; whether she “walks the walk” is a longer term project, but indications are favorable, she may just be
what the doctor ordered.
When I was a kid my father told me, “never trust anyone”, including him.
It doesn’t matter what you see, only what you believe.
They announce themselves by omission, knowingly or unknowingly.
“The fact is, I heard and believed the lies the Democrats and Liz Cheney’s friends in the media were telling at the time, but that is ancient history as I quickly realized their allegations against President Trump were untrue. They lied about him before he was elected and continue to lie about him to this day.
“It’s true I was a Cruz delegate at the convention in 2016, as were most of the Wyoming delegates. Like me, there were a lot of people who initially supported other candidates and then came to rally behind President Trump when he won the nomination.
“He was the greatest president of my lifetime and I am proud to have been able to re-nominate him in 2020, and I’m proud to strongly support him today. Our country would be in a better place with him still in office.”
–Harriet Hagemen
Just to clarify. That turquoise necklace you decide as a dime a dozen? That’s a Navajo squash blossom necklace–these are tremendously valuable–I’ve seen them for sale for upwards of 25,000. Some sell for a hundred grand. Ever seen Jill Biden’s ‘outfits?’ At any rate–I’ll take substance over form any day of the week I’ve always found it deeply ironic that people want ‘honest’ politicians while at the same time they want them to have ‘bearing’ and style. If they phony up the outside, do you really think they haven’t phonied up the inside?
You should listen to the radio more.
She wouldn’t be my choice either.
I’m with you SD! Rep Hageman would make an excellent VP!
Rep. Hageman described the obvious condition of the Dementident more clearly than anyone else I’ve seen in the news. She also asked the obvious, essential question of who is making the decisions right now and in recent past.
I’d be very happy to see this lady as VP.
Related thought: It is mind-numbing to hear people talk as if Biden might make a good Presidential choice in November. The obvious question instead … is he fit to carry out Presidential duties now.
Obiden is presently not fit to carry out his duties as CIC – nor has he been for a long time. The Hur report told us that. Yet, the Congress did not put forth a recommendation that the 25th amendment was warranted. Bunch of bought and paid for cowards.
“Realists” keep trying to save the Republican Party, the Ryan, McConnell, and Johnson sellouts. Why? So they can keep stabbing us in the back, running behind the libs and begging for a pat on the head?
“If we just had an acceptable VP,” they reason. Acceptable to who? Democrats? Clyburn? Pelosi? Mayorkas, Ayers, and the Emanuel brothers? Blinken, Nuland, and the rogue Intelligence agencies?
The only acceptable VP is one that Trump trusts. Be nice if the VP brought along a few fence setters, especially down-ticket, without risking a senate or house seat.
Carson could do that but he’s 72 and thus problematic in ’28.
Stefanik might as well, and she is still relatively young.
Byron Donalds could as well and the FL problem isn’t really a problem.
I like Hageman where she is.
Can’t think of another VP candidate on the so-called short list that could.
There is no reason whatsoever to go along with old precedents. There is no reason a VP should be automatically expected to run for president after his tenure in office as VP is finished.
Is she MAGA?
Yes
Nobody really knows. None of these people has ever accomplished anything MAGA. A dead bloated skunk on the side of a dirt road east of Cody, WY could have beaten Liz Cheney last year.
I want to see some shit get done that advances our agenda, not more words.
I use AI to demonstrate the power of the AI systems used in the 2020 Election Against Donald Trump
yes totally
1% MAGA is better than none.
“The ground of liberty is to be gained by inches, [and] we must be contented to secure what we can get from time to time and eternally press forward for what is yet to get. It takes time to persuade men to do even what is for their own good.”
— Thomas Jefferson to Charles Clay, 1790
Dear Mr. Putin,
Please do not drop any nuclear bombs between the hours of 8pm and 11am EDT.
Joe Biden
P.S. I assume I’m still President
The true downside to the Demented Fraud being exposed to the world as the Demented Fraud that he is, could cause Putin to reprioritize his 1st strike to some place other then DC. Why would Putin wipe out DC when the trash in that dump is destroying America without any help from him?
I really think Putin is saddened by what has taken place in America.
Hageman is right about the black eyes. Biden’s pupils are stone dead black. That’s the eyes of a dying person in hospice.
There’s 2 of these clowns one haas the Demon eyes the other has blue. My wife and her sister pointed it out.
Evertyone’s starting to be analyzed to death, analyzed into the ground.
That, alone, is exhausting.
I agree, very exhausting. There was a time, long ago, when we trusted. Now, with that term varying among us, we verify. I hope the Covid op sent that message home if other recent events didn’t. That op killed a lot of trusting people.
We’ll get through it. I’m still curious as to how seriously the Commie press takes Hagemen. If she’s a threat, they’ll attack. Plenty of precedent for that.

I love Harriet, but I just wish she’d wear more subtle lipstick. But she’s great. I agree with Sundance that she would be a solid VP choice.
I believe I’m finally feeling a change in the air.
Trump picked Mike Pence. Ms. Hageman seems much more decisive, emphatic and frank in her viewpoints than Mike Pence. I wonder if these are qualities which fit in with Trump?
But Pence had such nice suits.
Lol
Trump did not pick Pence. Do some research.
same ppl who did pick Shrub Sr. for pres. Ronald Reagan and for Shrub Jr Cheney….
Exactly, geoffgo!!! I wish more people would do their research and then comment!! Thank you!!!
President Trump had nothing to do with picking Pence, you need to brush up on your CTH back ground articles.
We can have faith, or trust, or belief, that the RNC of today isn’t the RNC of 2016 or 2020, since the inference is they, meaning the party principals, picked Pence, not PDJT. If that still is true, how MAGA is the RNC of today? If not, and PDJT doesn’t ‘pick’ his running mate, who does?

Wow! Liz Cheney isn’t going to like that even a little bit. To Liz, Joe Biden is God.
She looks like a good choice 👍
By now Trump has very likely already decided who his VP pick is and nothing said here will change that.
Two years ago when Harriet Hageman won her primary, she was interviewed by Wyoming Public Radio. She displayed the good sense and an ability to hold territory that she shows today. For a two year old interview, it sounds quite fresh.
https://www.wyomingpublicmedia.org/open-spaces/2022-07-08/u-s-house-candidate-harriet-hageman-discusses-issues-ranging-from-energy-to-election-security
I would be happy to see her as our VP, thrilled actually. The dig it would take at Liz Cheney would be the cherry on top.
I really liked her quick jab at Mare Pete : a failure from top to bottom!
I like her and I would not give you 2 cents for 98% of Republican politicians. I find them to be cowards. I took care of a dementia patient and noticed it on Joe 3 years ago. Were there no GOP guys willing to confront a disabled POTUS who was on strings like a marrionette. Afraid to speak. I got hammered on FB and why I left. Why are GOP guys so sad and scared to speak up. They coulda closed the border long ago and now it’s irrepriable damage. They could have impeached Mayorkis and Joe for that matter. They let it all slide so actually they are complicit. I pray someday all those RINOS are run off like rats off a cliff.
Okay all you city slickers, heres what life is like in Wyoming. But before you go to the link…warning, there are real cowboys out there LoL 😛

Her looks? Seriously folks. The world is burning around us and the debate is her getting a makeover? If looks determined qualifications Trump would have been on Queer eye for the straight guy. We love him for his being authentic self. Same with her. She is brilliant and a fighter. If you want sexy go watch a reality show.
Lincoln approves this message.
.. or Spew/View….
I believe Hageman is true MAGA. I do not think she is ready for a VP position. She is too new at this cut-throat business.
She has no solid base , no national base to fend off the demons. Give her a few more years under the guns of the Regime and see how she manages it.
.
She hasn’t been in politics long enough for the IC to have leverage over her. That’s a plus, not a minus.
.
I remember the day when many of us on this very site ( to include myself ) were critical of John McCain’s poorly tailored suits…
We certainly had fun with “Top Gov”
Top Goof!
All it takes is to ask the right questions…
Seems to me that HH definitely is on track…so lets take a journey into her x/twitter to see if she really knows her stuff 😛
There are millions of acres of BLM lands on our southern border, yet Director Stone-Manning has only visited those lands once, and she’s asked for zero environmental analysis on the impact of millions of people illegally crossing these lands. Unacceptable but not surprising.
Rep. Hagemen would be a great head for the EPA.
Oh dear
I speak for my family…YIKES 🙁
… drop the potato masher.
When Trump chooses his VP it’s got to be approved by the Senate first???
Is that right?
nope we vote on the VP too
this discussion about a makeover for harriet reminds me of the recent bio on yogi berra. yogi was anything but the buttoned down, dapper ny yankee of his day. he was hired anyway. the guy performed. whatever it takes to win i will support. the hour is late for the patriot cause.
One of the famous Yogisms is appropriate:
– They say I’m ugly. But I don’t hit with my face.
IMO this VP pick is the most consequential in 100 years.
The question I ask myself is when, in the last 100 years, when a GOP POTUS has departed, either after one or two terms, has a GOP not the sitting VP been elected? I date back to Ike and I can’t recall it in my lifetime.
I’m mindful of the reality that if PDJT is successful, he’ll apparently be the first GOP elected twice under such circumstances (non-contiguous terms). So, perhaps, history doesn’t matter when it comes to 2028.
Side-discussion notwithstanding, it’s nice to see Hagemen effectively attacking the Commies. A Congress full of her would be a good start.
Ooh, a PATRIOT! Attagirl.
Speaking of pretending , IMHO all this nonsense about Biden dropping out is just a huge distraction to cover for the election rigging that is happening right now.
Dane County Circuit Court judge Everett Mitchell in Wisconsin Alters Election Law — Rules Indefinitely Confined Voters Can Download Ballots Online without a Voter ID

Liberal judge alters election law in battleground Wisconsin months before electionhttps://nypost.com/2024/07/02/us-news/wisconsin-absentee-voting-law-changed-months-before-election/
On Everett Mitchell Facebook page ” Truly an inspiring conversation with Congressman and Omega Man, Jim Clyburn. I can’t say enough about his courage, stamina and commitment to civil rights. I’m grateful to be in a fraternity of men committed to justice and equality. I hope I can hang the hooks like that in my 80’s! ” https://www.facebook.com/everett.mitchell.948/
Folks need to wake up and pay attention. SD is spot on in his analysis of how Democrats are rigging the elections and its as if they are not even trying to hide it. I almost fell out of my chair after I found the pictures of this low life judge Everett Mitchell and Clyburn together on his FB page.
This information took me less than 5 minutes to find thanks to those here at CTH and big mouth “judge ” Mitchell. One would think the RNC and the GOP and conservative voices every where would be all over this but the only place I have read about it is right here on CTH.
What other scams does Clyburn have cooked up in other states and how are they getting around election laws to print enough ballots so Crooked Joe Biden can win another rigged election ?
This crap needs stopped in its track or we will no longer have a country and if the globalists have their way we might not have a planet left after they are done playing WWIII.
To lazy to look for it but I think I recall Trump, many months ago, saying he had a VP in mind and it was a he.
Most importantly is her raising the questions of “Who is running our Country?” and how long ago Joe began moving out of his brain. Treepers know but most Americans do not. The more these issues are hammered the more people will see reports like the following:
January 26, 2021. Not even a week in office.
They told us this was perfectly normal.

The Conspiracy of Silence to Protect Joe Biden
https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/conspiracy-of-silence-to-protect-joe-biden.html
This piece describes a political conspiracy. The people who orchestrated it extend well beyond Joe Biden. They include his most likely replacement—Kamala Harris. It cannot be fixed just by swapping her in and moving on. There must be a political price to pay for all involved.

No evidence… maybe a hairdresser or maid or makeup person or laundress could be bribed to get some hair or sweat?

Chenney’s loss to Hageman was the second worst loss by an incumbent in 60 years.
I like her: articulate, smart, and insightful. But we need her in the Congress.
Devin Nunes should be President Trump’s VP and likely sucessor.

Wtf Hageman called Trump racist and xenophobic and tried to block him from getting the nomination .
Also she needs an extreme fashion makeover .
Wtf Hageman called Trump racist and xenophobic and tried to block him from getting the nomination .
Got video on that one? You know, like the one sundance has provided of J.D. Vance?
(I think the RolCons may have been alerted to Harriet’s name now… They may even learn to spell it.)
Let the vetting commence!
It’s common knowledge. Hageman was one of the never Trump conservatives who tried to block trumps nomination at the RNC.
Still want to see far more than random assertion on that…
…especially since if sundance knew it, he would never have her on his short list.
Hageman was one the 12 on the rules committee who voted to unbind delegates at the 2016 convention so they could vote for Cruz. This was widely reported in the media when Hageman was runnimg against Cheney. Hageman’s lame ass excuse was that she was fooled into opposing Trump and has since learned that what they were saying about Trump back in 2016 was untrue.
Who’s running the country is obvious, it’s hussein’s third term.
Fourth.
He ran the Shadow Presidency behind Trump’s back.
They didn’t stay in hated DC for nothing.
And for two of those terms he has no immunity from criminal prosecution.
What’s the plan if we find out the day after election day that a billion fraudulent votes from a state with a million people put Weekend at Biden back in charge again? I don’t think anyone is contemplating that reality out loud.
Going off something Harriet just said and has actually bothered me for a few days, why is Chip Roy trying to help the Democrats? Is he still tied to the DeSantis group? These people are coming out of the weeds.
Never trust a Never-Trumper.
WHO IS SIGNING BILLS INTO LAW?
WHO IS SIGNING EXECUTIVE ORDERS
WHO IS COMMANDING THE ARMED FORCES?
The woman has balls which should please some transgenders
Man, I love this gal. Hageman. She’s a sharp cookie.
Take a look at her Donald Trump.
Trump 2024.
‘ “Who is running our country?” ‘
Malone:
https://www.malone.news/p/exceptionalism-imperialism-and-morality
‘ The answer is the “deep state”, ergo the national security apparatus, with the CIA being at the center of that bureaucratic matrix. ‘
‘ …an American nation-state “managed” by techno-bureaucrats who are functionally led by a small, self-serving, corrupt elite, which is what the “deep state” (or blob) has become. A rogue branch of the United States federal government administrative state that routinely manipulates citizens to accept questionable management decisions by deploying propaganda, censorship, and psychological operations technologies. One which seems to pay lip service to its founding principles and no longer respects its own laws. An elite that no longer believes in the concept of sovereign nation-states, and now seeks to substitute a new system of globalized governance led by appointed “leaders” who are closely allied and aligned with very large transnational corporate interests. ‘
Now, the following is very important to understand:
What are the very large transnational corporate interests dependent upon?
The ascendant industrial and technical Asian superpower feeding the global supply chains and dominating the digital electronics needed for everything to operate now in the globally-interconnected systems.
Do you suppose these things steer the US now?
Once you see this larger view, everything happening becomes clear, with the added context of “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu and the China 100 Year Plan.
Even the US military is dependent on this superpower, how can the US possibly prevail in any conflict if said superpower cuts off the supply of necessary electronic components and other necessary materials that no one else can supply?
Some go so far as to suggest that much of the current state of overcomplicated tech in the world was “nudged” to further entrench the dependence of the world on this global superpower. (For example: Why is LED lighting supplanting previous technologies? Lighting already used a very tiny fraction of overall energy consumption, it’s not like we needed it to reduce energy usage, and in fact the harsh LED lighting character could be causing insidious effect to our psyche.)
I find absolutely nothing wrong with Harriet Hageman’s presentation.
She speaks crisply, clearly and with authority. She represents herself in an unpretentious, unvarnished manner.
She’s not there to be a style icon.
Would her critics say the same things if we only have radio broadcasts? Isn’t that why the wheelchair bound FDR was able to be elected? No one observed his handicap as a routine presentation on a daily basis. Isn’t that why telegenic people like Whitmer and Newsome get elected despite being tyrants who think nothing of destroying lives with extra onerous lockdown edicts, which were unnecessary in the first place, while they go about living unfettered lives of luxury afforded them by their position as wealthy citizens who happen to be governors.
As for her accessorizing, that’s so superficial, shallow and inappropriate. Turquoise squash blossom jewelry has a long history and connection with her part of the country. It’s the opposite of the “sin” of cultural appropriate, which by the way is how cultures spread recognition among other groups who adopt some characteristic they admire and want to emulate.
From my perspective as an observer of the mentally deficient and physically debilitated Biden, someone needs to speak out about the “Emperor not wearing any clothes”. To do otherwise and wait for a glamorous personage to do the hard work while attracting attention to themselves is foolish and dangerous.
The Uniparty has a long history of sending us “true conservatives” who turn out to be prepackaged constructs, beholden to the Uniparty. They always came to us as “mavericks”, coached so. Strong statements, fighting the power, baby. Faux News propped them up gleefully. All designed to capture the trained seal vote, who barked and clapped their flippers approvingly.
But then we wound up with Lyin’ Ted, Pierre Delecto, L’il Marco, McLiar, Bushes in volume, the Meatball, Pence, and I can go on, and on… and on.
Let’s wait for the barking and clapping to subside this time, shall we?
I sorta like Hageman. But I will always be deeply suspicious of the lone congress member from Wyoming. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me a dozen times, shame on me. It’s easier to buy one than a group, and the Uniparty knows this.
For now, let’s explore this nebulous term that’s being fed to us, “natural resources litigator”. It’s loaded, and quite possibly our enemies hope we don’t bother unpacking it, and just bark and clap.
Litigator is always a red flag, sorry. Natural resources? How, and for who? On this site, we surface that underlying stuff. Not saying this person is an enemy, however, I have no data or observations that affirmatively excludes her as an enemy. Best to go slow here.
Don’t know how sold I am on her yet, but I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt. I just don’t know how anyone could support both Cruz and Cheney. How did she not see right through them?
THIS WOMAN IS A HERO!
She is the only one who has the guts to speak the truth.
Other than that, she is genuine and beautiful.
I think Hagman is the perfect mirror reflection of Trump in her manner of presentation, I like her look it’s distinctly her, she pulls it off in my opinion.
Who are her donors. That will say a lot about the woman.
Ditto to everything she said.
Now, we need to move on to revealing WHO are the people behind the lie to protect this man….
We are right now, a Nation is danger of attack…does not matter who…our CIC is severely compromised….and the 2nd in command is an idiot….apologies for the crass language.
Both should be impeached for incompetence and let the Speaker step in till election time.
THAT is the way it would work if we had a functioning, HONEST and GENUINE Congress….
But…alas, we DO NOT!
Harriet Hageman is on my personal short list of people I hope President Trump is considering for vice president.
On my list as well.
