Third, CNN the exclusive media outlet for the debate, is notorious for structuring political attacks against President Trump. Biden has been in dress rehearsals and training for the optics and soundbites for several weeks. Knowing CNN gave prior debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance during the 2016 primary, we can anticipate CNN working hand in glove with the Biden campaign. They don’t even try to hide this stuff any longer.

If Kamala is to be tossed, she would be told to resign first. Biden appoints a new VP (A la Gerold Ford), gets confirmation from a willing Congress, then Joe is 25th’d or 86th’d from office, and then the new VP becomes President.
The only issue would be the dates for a few states whose ballot deadlines would be late. One was today at 5 PM.
The only way for anything else to have the precedent to happen, IMHO, would be that switch of a VP and then subsequent DEATH of the President.

The outcome was more about glossing over the differences between liberalism and conservatism. There was absolutely no post talk of the ethical or moral substance within the party topics. It is obvious that the post debate central media wanted no discussion on the reality that beseiges us. They focused on the physically obvious and not the idiological differences. That is by design. That way they can create a personality story instead of one based on ideology. Ideology does not sell. Personalities however illogical, will sell when passion is repeated.
I couldn’t get the stomach to watch the debate but checked in at the Treehouse for a glimpse of how it was going. I was pleasantly surprised that President Trump wasn’t sabotaged.

My take away from the debate:
1) CNN moderators exceeded my expectations.
They came across pretty fair and strait forward.
I expected them to treat Trump way worse.
2) I can’t believe anyone watching thought Biden wasn’t “on” something. Between the rapid talk to begin with and the vacant stares; he just did not seem in any way “normal”.
3) I did not feel Trump was at his best. He was on the defensive at least as much as offensive and did not answer a number of questions. He came across better than Biden, but still not as good as I thought he would.
4) It’s over and it will be interesting to see what happens next!
That’s my assessment as well. Trump won a decisive victory tonight. But he will have to win with a different style when debating Replacement Candidate “X”. He must focus on what he will be doing differently and better than his opponent will be doing as the 47th President — not quite so much on what has happened in the past.
