The left whipped a lot of their base into watching this debate and it backfired horribly. So bad they were blocking posts by their own crowd when these people simply and honestly pointed out how bad Biden was doing. Some of them got a taste of what it’s like to be silenced and their posts blocked/removed and I’m not sure yet how they are taking it.
Some of them may wake up, but many others are going to be very angry. I’m just asking everyone here to be careful. The left is highly unstable and there is no telling how this may affect their cognitive dissonance. They tend to lash out and I certainly wouldn’t put it past them.

Despite my reservations, I thought CNN did a good job. Tapper and Bash asked fair questions, kept the candidates within their time limits, and repeated questions when the candidates failed to answer the first time. The biggest surprise of the night was that CNN was fair.
As for performance, the best thing Trump did was keep quiet while Biden was making a jackass of himself.

It’s my guess – and I did not watch the debate, deliberately- the ultimatum was given to Biden and his camp weeks ago prior to any debate challenge to Trump that if he could perform well IN the debate they would allow Biden to continue his candidacy however, if he didn’t – And by all accounts Biden DIDN’T – then he would be replaced.
It is my contention that Biden was never going to be the candidate. Given where the polls were and where they will most certainly be in the next few days – it’s over for Biden – So, they will be trotting out Hillary!

Based on the CNN post-debate panel, Biden is toast. Even they admitted he failed to convince anyone he has what it takes. Not a single panelist spoke up for how great she would be — I guess even professional spinners can only go so far without vomiting.
This will not be popular, but I was disappointed with Trump’s performance too. Trump thinks in two or three channels at once, and often jitterbugs into a new point before he finishes the first one. I wanted methodical and coherent with some facts/stats thrown in, to increase the contrast with Potatus.
