Today, during an interview with President Trump attorney Will Scharf, Stephanopoulos attempts to claim the Biden administration was not involved in the Alvin Bragg case against President Trump.
Speaking on “ABC’s This Week,” Stephanopoulos claimed, “of course, the attorney general of Manhattan has nothing to do with the Department of Justice.” Scharf replied: “I vehemently disagree that the district attorney in New York was not politically motivated here, and I vehemently disagree that President Biden and his political allies aren’t up to their necks in this prosecution.” WATCH:

However, his personal life was also in a bit of turmoil as he found himself landed on Rikers Island for sexually assaulting a fan back in 1994. However, he was later bailed out by a record label owner after eight months in prison.
American rapper and social media sensation Lil Wayne had also served at Rikers after he was convicted for gun charges back in 2010. Notorious serial killer David Berkowitz, known infamously for carrying out shootings and murders on New York streets, was also sent to Rikers Island prison for a short stint before being moved to different penitentiaries. The man has been constantly denied parole for the longest time due to the degree of his crimes.

Bennie Thompson has introduced legislation (convenient timing, eh?) that would bar Secret Service from protecting a convicted felon.

Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, introduced the Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable Former Protectees Act or the DISGRACED Former Protectees Act (H.R. 8081). This legislation would reform the U.S. Secret Service’s protective mission by automatically terminating Secret Service protection for those who have been sentenced to prison following conviction for a Federal or State felony—clarifying that prison authorities would be responsible for the protection of all inmates regardless of previous Secret Service protection.
“Unfortunately, current law doesn’t anticipate how Secret Service protection would impact the felony prison sentence of a protectee—even a former President. It is regrettable that it has come to this, but this previously unthought-of scenario could become our reality. Therefore, it is necessary for us to be prepared and update the law so the American people can be assured that protective status does not translate into special treatment—and that those who are sentenced to prison will indeed serve the time required of them.”
This is a danger and a disgrace to our Republic.

The United States Supreme Court is set to decide Fisher v. United States, a case in which January 6 Capitol riot defendant Joseph W. Fisher is challenging a federal felony charge of obstructing an official proceeding. Justices heard oral arguments in the case in mid-April, and are likely to rule by the end of June.
Joe Biden‘s Department of Justice (DOJ) has used the felony charge against over 300 individuals who allegedly participated in the 2021 riot in Washington, D.C. Additionally, the obstruction charge forms the core of DOJ special counsel Jack Smith‘s January 6 prosecution against former President Donald Trump.
Fisher and his attorneys contend the obstruction felony — a provision enacted by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 in the wake of the Enron scandal — represents an abusive application of what was supposed to be a statute addressing document destruction in the course of committing a financial crime. U.S. District Judge Carl J. Nichols ruled in Fisher’s favor in March 2022, dismissing the obstruction charge against three of the January 6 defendants. But the federal D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals reversed Nichols’s ruling in a 2-1 decision in April 2023 — setting up the showdown at the U.S. Supreme Court.
SARBANES-OXLEY.
The Sarbanes-Oxley Act was enacted after the 2001 Enron financial accounting fraud scandal, which saw the Texas-headquartered energy firm abruptly declare bankruptcy and dissolve its accounting firm, Arthur Andersen LLP. Congress swiftly moved to address gaps in financial regulations, which they believed allowed Enron executives to perpetrate fraud.
Sarbanes-Oxley passed in June 2002 and contained 11 financial reporting provisions aimed at the board of directors for U.S.-based companies.. Additionally, the bill enacted enhanced charges for private corporations accused of destroying documents to obstruct a federal investigation. The statute, found in 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c)(2), reads:
“Whoever corruptly—(1) alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object’s integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding; or (2) otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.”
This provision is what Biden’s DOJ used to file enhanced felony charges against the January 6 defendants and former President Trump after congressional proceedings were delayed for a few hours on January 6, 2021.

He blamed The Clinton White House for depression and how his face broke out in hives due to ‘pressures’ of conveying the Clinton White House message. Life was brutal and job crushing. Some decisively honorable respectable character, that no son of nestling chick.
Among many more accounts testifying to his character from his own doing is one of which he, signed an $835,000 commercial real estate deal consisting of a two-story apartment, including an eyewear retailer, with a below-market loan rate from a bank owned by Hugh McColl, who had been called by President Clinton “the most enlightened banker in America”. A NationsBank commercial loan officer said that this loan did “not fit our product matrix” as banks typically offer such loans for only those customers who have deep pockets and on a short-term adjustable rate basis. Stephanopoulos’s real estate agent explained that “nobody making $125,000 could qualify for the property without the commercial property (lease).” One former senior bank regulator told Anderson, “If his name were George Smith, and he didn’t work in the White House, this loan wouldn’t have gotten made. Regarding the controversy, NationsBank stated, “The loan described by Jack Anderson as a commercial loan to George Stephanopoulos was, in fact, a residential mortgage loan. At the time the loan commitment was made, Mr. Anderson (or his imaginary ‘George Smith’ who ‘doesn’t work in the White House’) could have walked into any NationsBank Mortgage Company office in the D.C. area and received the same excellent rate and term for the same deal.”
However, Stephanopoulos’s realtor states that he would not have qualified for the loan without the commercial property rent. One NationsBank source states that the issuance of a residential loan on mixed-use properties is such a rarity that it was not even addressed in the “NationsBank Mortgage Corporation’s Program Summary” or its “Credit Policy Manual”. A NationsBank underwriting memo revealed that one of the three restrictions for mixed-use properties is that “the borrower must be the owner of the business entity”. The source claims that NationsBank told the listing agent that, “We’re not (interested in mixed-use properties), but we do have an appetite for this particular loan.” NationsBank’s primary regulator at the time was Comptroller of the Currency Eugene Ludwig, a Rhodes scholar who attended Yale Law School with President Clinton, and who had been asked to investigate NationsBank by Democratic congressmen Henry B. Gonzalez and John Dingell.
Clinton Foundation charity donations
Stephanopoulos donated $25,000 in 2012, 2013, and 2014, a total of $75,000, to the Clinton Foundation, but did not disclose the donations to ABC News, his employer, or to his viewers. Stephanopoulos failed to reveal the donations even on April 26, 2015, while interviewing Peter Schweizer, the author of Clinton Cash, a book which alleges that donations to the Foundation influenced some of Hillary Clinton’s actions as Secretary of State. After exposure of the donations by Politico on May 14, 2015, Stephanopoulos apologized and admitted he should have disclosed the donations to ABC News and its viewers.he Washington Free Beacon broke the story when they questioned ABC News regarding the matter.
