This is not going to be a surprise for regular CTH readers; however, Politico is outlining how a group of Lawfare ideologues meet every Friday to discuss their constructed legal filings and the next week of attack angles against President Donald Trump.
In essence, the core group inside the meeting are what Christine Blasey-Ford called the “beach friends” when discussing who constructed the legal avenues for the ridiculous attack against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
As we have noted for the past several years, it’s this same group of Lawfare ideologues, mostly former DOJ administrators and lawyers, who are behind every anti-Trump effort. The primary trio is Mary McCord, Norm Eisen (left in red tie), and Andrew Weissmann.
These are the three members who write the briefs and court motions that Jack Smith then files.
Mary McCord worked in the DOJ-NSD to secure the first Title-1 warrant against the Trump campaign; then she created the Logan Act violation to use against Michael Flynn; then she went to work with Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler on both impeachment efforts; then McCord went to work for Bennie Thompson on the J6 committee; then she worked as the liaison between the J6 Committee and Fulton County DA Fani Willis, and now Mary McCord currently works for Jack Smith on the special counsel effort.
Politico outlines how Lawfare operative Norm Eisen organizes the weekly Lawfare meeting and lists the participants who also join in. Remember, Mary McCord, Norm Eisen and Andrew Weissmann are the primary Lawfare agents.
Via POLITICO – […] Every Friday, they meet on Zoom to hash out the latest twists and turns in the Trump legal saga — and intellectually stress-test the arguments facing Trump on his journey through the American legal system.
The meetings are off the record — a chance for the group’s members, many of whom are formally or loosely affiliated with different media outlets, to grapple with a seemingly endless array of novel legal issues before they hit the airwaves or take to print or digital outlets to weigh in with their thoughts.
The group’s host is Norman Eisen, a senior Obama administration official, longtime Trump critic and CNN legal analyst, who has been convening the group since 2022 as Trump’s legal woes ramped up. Eisen was also a key member of the team of lawyers assembled by House Democrats to handle Trump’s first impeachment.
[…] The regular attendees on Eisen’s call include Bill Kristol, the longtime conservative commentator, and Laurence Tribe, the famed liberal constitutional law professor. John Dean, who was White House counsel under Richard Nixon before pleading guilty to obstruction of justice in connection with Watergate, joins the calls, as does George Conway, a conservative lawyer and co-founder of the anti-Trump Lincoln Project. Andrew Weissmann, a longtime federal prosecutor who served as one of the senior prosecutors on Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia investigation and is now a legal analyst for MSNBC, is another regular on the calls. Jeffrey Toobin, a pioneer in the field of cable news legal analysis, is also a member of the crew. The rest of the group includes recognizable names from the worlds of politics, law and media.
[…] You probably know some of the other regular participants on the call, which draws in some of the most recognizable names in the Anti-Trump Cinematic Universe.
They currently include Obama-era U.S. Attorneys Harry Litman, Barbara McQuade and Joyce White Vance. Litman is a columnist for the Los Angeles Times, a cable news regular and a podcast host. McQuade and Vance co-host a podcast and are under contract with MSNBC, as are two other regular attendees — Jennifer Rubin, an opinion writer for the Washington Post who often covers Trump’s legal affairs, and Mary McCord, a former federal prosecutor and high-ranking official in the Justice Department who co-hosts a podcast for MSNBC with Weissmann. Karen Agnifilo, a former senior prosecutor in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office and CNN commentator, is an occasional attendee, as is Elliot Williams, also a former federal prosecutor who provides commentary on CNN. There are many people in media pretending to be surprised to see this article outlining all the participants in the anti-Trump effort as it gives the appearance of an organized and collaborative effort between media and the Lawfare group. However, all of the surprise is just that, pretense.
The entire DC world knows exactly what is going on and who is participating. You do not have some super incredible insight, knowledge or discernment that is not also known and available to every politician, pundit and entity in DC circles. They all know this game and they know the players within it.
Some may pretend to be surprised to see these names in print, but they know exactly who and what these people do. It’s the same “pretending not to know” game they deployed about Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann.
The entire town of Washington DC knew Robert Mueller was a figurehead appointment with a team behind him to coverup the 2016 DC operation against Donald Trump. That’s all the Mueller special counsel operation was, a giant coverup operation or what might be called a Lawfare “catch and kill” operation.
Mary McCord
Here’s what being hit by the ugly truck TWICE does….
His hands were up to no good…
We’re going to need a bunch of backhoes & lots & lots of rope.
There’s lots of hos in NYC 🙂
Wow! Auto-Correct changed every thong.
Soho
There too.
Sew ho
Why bother digging? We’ll have a hard enough time finding as much rope as it’ll take.
Cause after a couple of days, they start to stink.
they been stinking for years
Leave them on the lampposts as warnings to others.
Every cherry tree in DC should be decorated with the remains of DS operatives.
Couple of miniguns and a brick wall.
After a fair trial and conviction, of course.
Let the vultures clean up the mess.
Now, I thought we all had agreed to not post comments that could in any way be construed as advocating biolence, so ad not to run a bird of the content restrictors?
You guys are just TEASING me, and making me bite my fingers, instead of my tounge,…not fair, cause I SOOOO wanna play!
I call it advocating for justice.
I’ll call the three vultures, Before, During & After. They just love a clean up.
What do you have against vultures?
X1000
No rope needed, alligators need to be fed
Lime pits.
Why are these people so afraid of President Trump?
There are trillions at stake.
That’s the issue, they have no soul. They will play for either team it’s just for money. People soon forget these people lurk in the shadows and come out for feeding. They have to be dispatched and who will do the job?
There are not many teams. Sorry.
And they won’t play for OUR team.
And we wouldn’t want them ON our team anyway.
I disagree vehemently.
I grew up with this personality type, in this DC culture. Attended the same schools.
Money provides comfort. Position confers power. There’s always a leadership cadre, conspirators.
They believe and live in an ideological cocoon manufactured for them from birth through education to recruitment. They believe they know and understand how “things” actually work; but they don’t live it. Many, far too many, suffer psychoses leading to drug addictions, sex addictions, regular psychiatric handholding…or some mix of the three.
These people aren’t simply self-directing missiles searching for target pots of gold – they actually hate everything that falls outside their ideology, their worldview, their received/constructed pictures of reality. They don’t see it that way; don’t have that sort of introspection. They breathe in a fractured world psychologically.
Look up an article called “The Upper Middle Class is Ruining America”
From a few years ago. The author worked his way through one of the “best colleges”
and noticed how everyone around him was from the same lefty money suburbs. It’s
a treatise on what you noticed around your DC classmates, only from Wilton CT, and
similar areas.
They’re not afraid of Trump, they’re afraid of jail (and Bubba).
I would say “They are NOT afraid of Trump! They are afraid of US, and Trump is just standing in the way!”
and THERE IT IS, I have been stumbling all around that for weeks, and finally GOT it!
And they are afraid of Mike Flynn. Trump stuck in NYC because of Communists. Mike Flynn traveling the country promoting his movie all while meeting people and getting people motivated.
I think Mike Flynn will be his VP nomination. Why? Because the deep state fears those who know where they bury the bodies. And Flynn knows where all the bodies are located.
I’ll try. They can’t buy him with promises of riches, so they don’t think they can control him, w/r/t the trillions at stake.
Their crimes will become unveiled. Simple.
The entire LAWFARE we witness now is designed to PREVENT these unveilings.
But these incriminating documents and deranged policies will come out.
And that’s what is freaking them out.
And well it should.
Trump will (I hope) be relentless in payback.
It’s needed. It’s fair. It’s just.
In my view, the Lord is using Mr. Trump to expose the centuries old Satanic evil that has afflicted the world.
She’s a man baby!
Nothing would make me happier than the three terrorists get hit with a rouge wave, are drug out to sea, and are eaten by a hungry White Shark or some sort of Ocean predator.
Jellyfish. Lots and lots of jellyfish.
Can somebody please hack Zoom
my screen name has been kicked around a lot lately.😂😂
for the record: it has nothing to do with the video conference calling app
and definitely nothing to do with toobin!!
thank you for allowing me to clarify!😁
Sure do hope that elevator Norm Eisen is riding in, was recestnly7 inspected for its safety.
I’d bet a cup of coffee and a donut that ValJar, FBHO, and Eric “The Red” Holder are in some of the ‘meetings’ too.
By the book, don’t ya know?
Wolverines!!
Of course any “Hot” story in Politico is likely just a “Limited Hangout” by the Swamp. The story includes a few names the Swamp is willing to expose. Weisman, Eisen and McCord are already known to be part of Smith’s S#!& Show, therefore putting them into the story does no real damage. Dupes like Conway and Krystal are fully expendable as far as the Dems are concerned. The story will get all the Conservative outlets talking, but they will talk about what was in the story not what was left out of the story.
There are almost certainly names that were left out of the story and that the Swamp cannot allow to be exposed. People in direct contact with Obama are names the Swamp will fight to keep out of media stories like these.
If they only spent the same amount of time and energy on trying to build as opposed to trying to destroy.
If there was a truly smart person in Congress, they could a mass nearly a 2/3’s majority to form a new party to take the reigns of power and gravy train from Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell, etc.
I’ve always said 70% to 80% of people could agree on 75+% of policies – agreeing to disagree on some issues and where on some issues one side may get a bit more than the other, but in general agree on some core elements.
It would just take a few brave people to lead and others to follow. The lawfare efforts could be extinguished and an unprecedented renaissance of adherence to the Constitution and Federalism.
I know, wishful thinking but one can dream!!!
Darn, at “if there was a truly smart person in Congress,…” I gave my cell phone a coffee shower, and had to put in rice time out.
Really shouldn’t drink coffe WHILE reading here!
The Left has no desire to come to the table of discussion, much less agree to disagree. The Left rabid fascists are bound and determined to run the USA under ONLY THEIR rules and regulations. They will not tolerate any dissidents to their ways.
This is evident since Trump’s campaign in 2015 right through to today and tomorrow.
I worry where this is going. We either accept their fascist (3rd world government) “executive orders” or we do not.
This is a very difficult situation because ALL of TPTB are running this show and have all the say. They own the Lawfare department.
I cannot help but compare it to how the Patriot Founders in Boston (and the surrounding towns – Quincy, Lexington, Concord at al) felt when they were under the boots of the British Rule…..
Have hope.
It didn’t turn out well for the Brits!
Remember, it was the British Army that protected the colonies and Colonists during the French, Spanish and Indian Wars which lasted decades.
Thousands of Redcoats died fighting at Lake George, Monongahela, Fort William Henry, Ticonderoga, Louisbourg, Quebec, Montreal, Bushy Run and Fort Pitt just to name a few!
It was the world’s first “world war” and the most expensive war ever fought in history and the British Government wanted the Americans to chip-in and help pay the costs. Really didn’t seem unreasonable!
re: ” Mary McCord, Norm Eisen and Andrew Weissmann ”
DO these people do ANYTHING besides uselessly eat?
Yes..they print your money and charge you interest, while producing nothing! We are serfs to them
For only as long as it takes to do otherwise, sonoftrump.
You forgot, they drag us into useless wars and scheme to murder unborn babies and corrupt innocent children.
This may have something to do with them not GAF about sending our troops into meat grinders…….More recent DoD administrative data focused on active duty personnel show that as of January 2019, approximately 70 percent were recorded as Christian (about 32% no denomination, 20% Catholic, 18% Protestant, 1% Mormon), 2 percent as Atheist or Agnostic, 1 percent as affiliated with an Eastern religion, 0.4 percent each as Jewish or Muslim, and the remainder (about 24%) were reported as “other/unclassified/unknown”
They collect fat salaries and super benefits, all paid by us.
Big picture, why is Politico putting this info out?
Is this an attempt to get out ahead of a story (some truth) that’s about to break?
If it’s known by all who read this story what the bad guys are up to, then I’m guessing the good guys know it all and have known all along.
In a presser interview a few years ago, a reporter asked President Trump about his saying people committed treason. The reporter said the punishment for treason is death. Would he like to clarify that comment. Without hesitating, President Trump said they spied on his campaign and then said they had an insurance policy in case he won. He named a bunch of the bad actors like McCabe, the two lovers and a few more. He then said, that’s treason.
I believe some Justice is about to be handed out. The article is being put out to get ahead of it and spin away from certain bad actors.
RT: https://truthsocial.com/users/BrainStorm_Joe/statuses/112263758851790010We were told pretty clearly how long this operation would take.
Look at the date. Read the drop.
This is an 8 year operation.
We are in year 7….. Pre_planned.
There is a video link in the above Truth Social post.
My recollection of President Trump’s comments are not exact but are pretty close.
“That’s treason. That’s treason.”

June 2015 is a better start date on the escalated operations against Trump.
Yes, I’m not surprised by what’s covered in the article. I too am a bit surprised that it’s Politico putting it out there.
Has anyone ever tried making a phone call to any of these people, and asking just what the hell are they are up to?
If they are being paid American’s tax dollars, I think they damn well ought to be available for a phone call …
I don’t think they would suddenly discover honestly and tell you the truth. They haven’t so far; why would an anonymous spam call push them over the edge?
You’d simply be put on their call block list. Remember, they’re legitimate psychopaths. They don’t care, and don’t even know why anyone would care.
Well, you could try.
After the FBI comes down on you like a ton of bricks, remember to go on GoFundMe, when you ask for monetary help for legal expenses.
I don’t donate through GiveSendGo since they screwed over the Canadian truckers.
I believe you may have those donation conduits inadvertently reversed. GFM, in my memory, was the entity which froze the donations and even considered directing them to a recipient of their own choosing until massive pushback occurred.
So much adversity under the bridge since the Convoys. Some folks who were in them are still dealing with problems, a lot like the J6’ers are. We just don’t see it in the media.
Yep, it’s formulaic … wanna play a game, guess-who quote:
“We call it the wrap-up smear, if you want to talk politics. We call it the wrap-up smear. You smear somebody with falsehoods and all the rest and then you merchandise it. And then you write it and if they see it’s reported in the press that this, this, this and this.”
Nanzi Pelosi,…too easy.

Seems like election interference and sedition to me.
These little pricks need a speedy and fair trial, followed by an short drop of hemp rope.
Or just disappear.
No! Use the laws on the books, follow the laws and enforce the laws. Do it legally, not the way they do things.
Nope, televise it.
Pay per view, with the money going towards the National Debt.
I often ponder, if the lawfare cabal worked as hard to MAGA, how would our country look?
As is always the case…they project what they are doing onto Trump. The only question is why talk openly about it during his trial for “election interference.”
Wow, the fact that they are targeting a citizen of the US for civil and criminal persecution is actionable via a Trump lawsuit?
This makes my blood boil. May all of their evil schemes backfire on them.
“The meetings are off the record — a chance for the group’s members, many of whom are…” JEWS…
Coordinated by the Brookline Institute I believe.
Any documents they generate are property of the U.S. government. Trump should seize control of them when he takes office, have teams comb through it line by line, locate all the crimes, and then toss all of the conspirators into federal prison.
The real challenge is rounding up enforcers who will do that. The chain of command is very adept at resisting orders which go against their internal SOP. I’ll posit it will take a lot of personnel changes to get anywhere and that generally takes a lot of time, hence why we need a ramrod of a VP who can continue the MAGA program in ’28.
Put some of the spare 78,000 IRS agents to good use for the combing.
Thennnnn, audit the piss out of the Lawfare and media types that helped inflict it.
A lot of regime supporters are worth 40 million. When you see this amount to
persons with kinda, sorta careers like Alyssa Milano, you might find out
exactly WHY their net worth is so high. There’s gold in them thar tweets!
when is your book on mc cord coming out?
He should borrow the song line for the title: “Where Mary Goes — Evil Grows…”
Looks like a military tribunal and Gitmo roachmeat sandwich for this group. Sedition!!! Treason!!!! Hanging or firing squad?
I am not particular, but it needs to be televised and shown in every school.
And every asset they own given to the taxpayers.
Gee, sounds like the meetings have waived attorney client privilege and work product privilege for DOJ.
Looks like a good RICO case to me. Was this going on before 2020? Then it is a conspiracy to overthrow a sitting President, no?
🤔 Just ANOTHER “random occurrence”! Sick of this 💩!! And I don’t give a damn about their efforts to discredit those of us with the courage to speak the truth. In their opinions, they get to drag their balls across our faces and we are to dare say nothing because they’re “chosen”
Norm Eisen (left in red tie), and Andrew Weismann
I know he can’t say it but I hope to God Trump has a plan to hold them all accountable to such a degree that no one would ever engage in ALL of the illegal activity.
Everywhere you look you see it and God knows what we don’t know. Trump must act decisively once he wins.
Since DOJ is completely corrupt, what ideas are being presented to stop this from happening again? Competition in police powers should be at the top of the to-do list for Trump 47.
A new security service with LEO and investigative powers should be organized under the existing dormant Militia clauses of Art. I. This new competition for DOJ would instead be run under Congress and the States; the Art. II executive branch would have nothing to do with it except be the target of investigations.
A corrupt DOJ could not stop these investigations, and since 51 sovereign bodies would be running it, it would not suffer from single-source corruption. Have its own Art. III court like DOD and the UCMJ, and this would cut out this nonsense at the source–and send them to prison if they tried.
PDJT needs a ramrod on that mission who is impervious to ‘six ways from Sunday’, else the IC will take him or her out.
“… on the calls. Jeffrey Toobin, a pioneer in the field of cable news legal analysis, is also a member of the crew.”
Toobin, yep a ‘pioneer’ on zoom. gross.
A trailblazer who beat them all to it. Repeatedly…
“The ends justify the means”
Condensed Machiavelli; “In the actions of all men, and especially of princes, where there is no court to appeal to, one looks to the end. So let prince win and maintain his state: the means will always be judged honorable, and will be praised by everyone. ”
A Marxist favorite , in other words, you do whatever the hell you want, “If it feels good do it”…especially when there are no consequences. They’ve succeeded in taking the helm of state and are using tyranny as their weapon this will only end when the consequences part gets going.
Doesn’t surprise me even a little, I know these people, imagine, what would an Abbie Hoffman do if he had the power, voila, we are there.
I love it: Beach Friends!! It is an interesting mixture of democrats and so-called conservatives. It is sort of like Congress but without the MAGA
What would happen if some brilliant hacker…hacked the zoom meeting?
Who was it that leaked officially to Politico?
“When the Dept of Justice or FBI need to frame a narrative particular to their interests they use Politico and the New York Times.” (Thanks Sundance)
Why would they mention this now? Are we at “they don’t think they need to hide anything anymore”?
It was probably leaked to divert attention away from something MUCH bigger they need to keep hidden. While people are dissecting the Politico story they are not looking to see whatever else is hiding behind the shadow this story is casting.
The NY case currently underway against PDJT revealed its underlying “crime” on Monday. It seems like these Zoomers that meet every Friday could be charged with the exact same crime. From RedState-dot-com:
According to Fox News, “New York prosecutor Joshua Steinglass on Tuesday said the other crime was a violation of a New York law called ‘conspiracy to promote or prevent election.'”
That law, New York Law 17-152, reads:
Wow. Mary McCord is like Zelig. She’s involved in everything.
Remember, these Lawfare federal prosecutors are the very same 17 Angry Democrats from Brooklyn under Andrew Weissman that were going to charge President Trump with Obstruction of Justice for Tweeting that he was innocent of Russian Collusion…when, if fact, he was innocent and Weissman knew it!
The Eisengruppers must be freaking out a bit over this development:
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/supreme-court-takes-new-step-jan-6-case-orders-doj-explain-themselves
Lame juveniles.
They were disliked in Jr high, now they extract heir revenge
I hope there’s a tsunami at the beach.
Lightning would also work.
It’s very strange that three lawyers who are NOT on the Federal Grand Jury list in either case in West Palm Beach or Washington DC would have access to the evidence against President Trump including grand jury documents and witness testimony in sufficient detail to write motions, responses and suggest strategies for upcoming trials.
Typically, the release or use of any grand jury evidence or information is a serious federal crime.
Why aren’t any of Smith’s prosecutors or their Lawfare “consultants” concerned about being charged with a crime for any of this, I ask myself?
Good point, especially since at least one of the cases involves supposedly classified information.
There’s something George Conway just will not tolerate…he will get your attention one way or another 😛
but…George Conway does not earn the money that Kellyanne generates, so is he getting palimony 😛
George Conway Donates Nearly One Million Dollars to Biden Campaign: Axios
https://www.mediaite.com/tv/george-conway-donates-nearly-one-million-dollars-to-biden-campaign-axios/
George Conway, a Republican lawyer who made a name speaking out against former President Donald Trump, made a massive donation to President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, according to a report by Axios.
Axios’s Mike Allen reported on Wednesday that Conway, who is divorced from former Trump aide Kellyanne Conway, gave $929,600 to the Biden Victory Fund, the maximum amount allowed. Conway will also headline a fundraiser for Biden on April 24 with minimum donations of $500 per person. The event, which will be held in Washington, D.C., marks Conway’s “first big pro-Biden event.”
Conway regularly appears on cable news as a critic of Trump, during which he has referred to Trump as a “psychopath,” “morally obscene,” and “sadistic.” He has also stated that he wants to “make amends” for his past support of Trump, saying, “I am ashamed that I supported him in 2016. It was a mistake of judgment. It was just to make a moral judgment. It was an intellectual mistake.”
Conway is one of many Republicans who have denounced Trump, but not many are openly supporting Biden. The Biden campaign recently began courting supporters of former GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley, reminding them that “Donald Trump doesn’t want your vote. Save America. Join us.”
There isn’t 1 nook and cranny that doesn’t have someone conspiring against Trump. Even the bills they’re passing now contain elements that will hamstring Trump’s policies and give “them” grounds for impeachment if he tries to undo them.
For Trump to succeed and for America to survive it truly will be by the Grace of God.
Who here doubts that this new set of charges originated from their Lawfare conspiracy?
https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/04/24/arizona-2020-election-charges-meadows-giuliani-ellis/
Just horrific, more criminal charges for something not a crime.
Is that a picture of Mutt and Jeff??? IMESHO, it would seem like the RNC would consider investigating the backgrounds, “friends”, and funding of those characters.
I HATE these people🇺🇸
with trump ahead on election night and the usual commie states halt the vote counting trump best hold a press conference, declare victory and immediately start the transition.
the second step is for him to ask all 80 million plus trump voters to descend on the swamp that day to celebrate and demand the commies vacate the offices immediately as did the clintonistas with ghwb.
Tucker doesn’t pretend in this video about corruption in DC…
The Hell It Can’t Happen Here!
https://pjmedia.com/paula-bolyard/2024/04/24/it-can-happen-here-n4928475
Lewis, one of my favorite fiction writers, was also a shrewd culture commentator. He understood how fickle Americans could be and how easily we could fall into fascism if the right people came into power.
He was also something of a prophet. How else could he have so accurately described the future Joe Biden in 1935?
Eighty-nine years later, our nation is in shambles, and we’re beginning to understand that it can happen here.
Public education has become a bastion of indoctrination, our political system seems to be irreparably broken, and the administrative state seeks to control every aspect of our lives.
Thirty years ago, many couldn’t imagine some of these things we see happening today:
It just goes on and on.
We need to revive the House UnAmerican Activities Committee. Defined by Wikipedia as “created in 1938 to investigate alleged disloyalty and subversive activities on the part of private citizens, public employees, and those organizations suspected of having communist ties. It became a standing (permanent) committee in 1946, and from 1969 onwards it was known as the House Committee on Internal Security“. Then in 1975 all functions were handed over to the House Judiciary Committee. Recall the past Majority/Minority Reps served as Chair have all been Uniparty swamp creatures.
HCUA in the late 1960s was a toothless tiger, compared to what the committee was in the late 1940s throughout the 1960s. Its poor reputation and lack of legislative production was one of the reasons then-Chairman Richard Ichord (D-MO) changed the name to the House Internal Security Committee (HISC), and instead focused after 1969 on the New Left, Yippies, Weathermen, SLA, and the rest of the crazed Left stirring up trouble in the early 1970s through Vietnam War protests.
HISC never got any steam up before the reformist Watergate class of the 1974 election took over House leadership and disbanded HISC in January 1975. May former Rep. (Father) Robert Drinan (D-MA) rot in hell for this apostasy he led against our nation.
HISC and its focus on the Left would be a terrific standing House committee today, especially with today’s crazed Left being a re-tread of the 1970s Marxists and their nut ideology. House Judiciary literally has done no oversight of internal security threats since it was given HISC’s former jurisdiction in 1975. It has deliberately avoided this important political topic now for almost a half-century.
Today’s House Homeland Security Committee (HHSC) generally examines operational or administrative functions of DHS, but does not examine the political aspects of domestic security threats. It should, but if it won’t, than absolutely bring back HCAU or HISC for the 118th Congress.
For fun, read how the Republicans made HCAU a standing permanent committee on the first day of the new 79th Congress, where the GOP took over the House for the first time since the 1930s.
(Hint: They totally snookered the opposition in literally minute one of the new session…)
All found below on page 10, January 3, 1945, page 10-14, of the House Congressional Record. I offer it for your enjoyment on how you get stuff done in the House–do it before the House Rules are adopted, since there are no rules in effect:
https://www.congress.gov/bound-congressional-record/1945/01/03/house-section
The vote to establish HCAU as a permanent committee was 208Y-186N-40NV, all on Roll Call vote No. 3 (p. 15). 186 House Members voting against it was a courageous thing to do in the final year of the Second World War.
The House switched to the GOP the very next Congress.
Ok, so multiple states indict EVERYBODY associated with contesting the previous election. Lawfare has reached steroid proprtions and the NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE, Is doing anything about it. I’m really losing all hope. What the hell is going on here? Is everyone in DC on an Epstein video?
Probably…do you remember that famous DC madam that had the whole lot of them in her ‘little black book’ P
