NBC is clutching their pearls as Texas AG Ken Paxton celebrates dozens of victories for his endorsed state candidates who primaried Bush-supported Republicans. Additionally, his endorsements and support for the challengers in Texas has led to an additional ten runoff elections, including the potential removal of Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan who led impeachment proceedings against him.
The media uses terms like “revenge” and “anger,” however, most of the MAGA coalition smile and think of Paxton as the leading candidate to be nominated by President Trump for U.S Attorney General next year. Yeah, this article is buckets of awesome.
TEXAS – Out of the 70 candidates on the ballot yesterday that Texas GOP Attorney General Ken Paxton endorsed, 33 won their primaries outright, while 10 have advanced to a runoff.
Paxton helped defeat seven Republican state House members who voted to impeach him last year on corruption charges. He also boosted nine other GOP candidates for state House seats.
His endorsed candidates unseated three Republican judges on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, who had angered Paxton by keeping his office from prosecuting voter fraud, and a handful of other incumbents.
“Texans have spoken loud and clear,” Paxton wrote on X, the platform once known as Twitter. “The victory of Judges David Schenck, Gina Parker, and Lee Finley, endorsed by my office, marks a significant moment in our state’s legal history. It sends a powerful message that Texans demand judges who prioritize the Constitution and uphold the rule of law.”
Paxton isn’t letting off the gas, in no small part because his top target — Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, who led impeachment proceedings — is heading to May runoff election.
Paxton, along with Trump, endorsed one of Phelan’s opponents, Republican activist David Covey.
“Today’s election results have revealed that the battle for the soul of Texas is far from over,” Paxton wrote in a post on X early Wednesday, addressing the outcome of Phelan’s race. “This runoff is not a defeat, but rather a call to arms for all who stand for the principles of the America First movement. Let this runoff be a rallying cry for all conservatives across Texas.”
The Texas runoff elections will occur on May 28, a little over a month after Paxton’s first court appearance on April 15 for charges of securities fraud. (LINK)
How disappointing that ten are in a runoff.
You’d think Texans would be disturbed enough about their open borders that they’d send a clearer message to the open borders crew.
Michael, solid point about,”You’d think Texans would be disturbed…”
I work in these states and with their governments. What people of fail to recognize is that these RED states are actually GOP states. These legislators often scream that they are MAGA. But, that is just lip service so they can continue to serve the global corporations residing within their states.
The real battle is to expose the GOP blob at the state level and cast them out into the open for all the voters to see the legislators true motives. Consider these governors as the bench DeSantis, Kemp, Phelan and hope to become the Bush, Chaney, McConnell one day.
Texas MAGA voters will prevail as the sleep is rubbed away from their eyes.
I sure hope so, Joe. I’d love to see it!! I do think we need a better way of getting the word out about who is MAGA and who is fake MAGA, though.
Remember here in Texas we have to deal with Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston where there are a plethora of Democrats!! The Dems do control the legislature even tho’ the Republicans have a majority, that is just how it works sadly. The deep red part of Texas is less populated than the big cities. Those of us out here in the flyover part of Texas need to stand up together to hold the line. Not easy as we here on the Treehouse know, they don’t listen. Truly brainwashed
better hurry or the term TexMex will become the reality forever with the cartels your real boss.
It’s not just Mexicans invading the US.
It is criminals, the poor, the uneducated, gang members and traitors from all over the globe.
I lived and travelled in Mex and Centro and I’m sure having married a Mexican woman there is no love lost between Centro people and Mexicans. There is also major caste systems at work all the time. Remember all those countries are narco states with highest murder rates in the world. Those young men many started out around nine years old learning the drug trade and violence. This country has a problem so big now as the mafia and cartel networks have rooted into every community. Most all of them have a friend or family member you won’t like to meet if you have a problem with them. My neighborhood was a mostly white retired people on SS. Now it’s all Hispanic families with 3 or 4 kids. and 4 cars each home. Enjoy as not only CA has to deal with this.
The US military and CIA ruined a lot of South America. The people in each of those countries will have to pick up the pieces.
Deep State ruined it (combo US military and CIA-part of each is bad); they have been doing the globe. They must be globalist working for…? NWO.
It has been a takeover of the U.S. When I was in high school in the 50’s there were FIVE Mexicans in the school. Now you’re lucky if there are five Americans in the school.
Well, we also stopped having children. Catch 22. Increased costs lead many to have one or no children. TyecSexual Revolution and housing prices played a major role.
Don’t forget about fluoride; makes us all passive. Not all states have it in the drinking water.
stopped having children, because it is hard to raise them when both parents must work. An economic system that would allow for one parent to work, and preferably a shorter work-week — is a minimal necessary requirement for a child birth rate recovery.
Local community schooling and childcare (not public schools or expensive private kindergardens) — would be a boost too.
For countries like Japan, most Eastern Europe, where birth rate is negative — free health care did not proove to be the solution to the problem. I think economic position that facilitate this one-parent working model, and reduced work week — would be the minimal necessary requirement.
In the far past, polygamy was essentially of getting the birth rate up, but in todays world this will not be widely accepted (for very good reasons) — so providing economic conditions such that one mother being able to afford staying home (and getting locally community help when needed) — will work.
Far Northern California used to have super cheap land. Now it’s run by Mexican, Chinese, and Hmong drug operations that distribute over $8 Billion a year in drugs using illegal ‘trimmigrants’ to prepare drugs.
Too powerful for the local Sheriff, and Newsom avoids it. The local Sheriff was pulling over water trucks used to water crops, then the cartels hired lawyers to play the Race Card.
I read somewhere that the cartels funnel the drugs to the black gangs in the northeastern cities.
Eight years ago a friend told me our local “Head Start” program for preschoolers was 100% Latino in our Northern CA suburb.
With prior illegal immigration, we’re probably between 45-50 Million illegal residents. The Ivy Leagud did a study a few years back which ‘shocked’ the [liberal] researchers. Not me.
Don’t forget there is a regiment of military-aged Chinese illegals.
I heard over 500 Platoons of CH are here….
Try MexMex.
Hmmm…. substitute those cities for San Franciskovich, Sacramentograd, Hollywoodski and Los Angeles and you just described California.
The different thing, is that we don’t have a “flyover”… we have very large suburban places that are conservative… most of San Diego, The OC, Riverside, the cities along the 99… but our progressive apparatchiks are the tip of the national spear for them commies, they’re the best (worst?) of that lot.
It would be so nice if those people denigrating California would realize that they’re coming to their state too and that we’re all in this together.
If California “falls into the sea”, you’re next.
So, let’s fight the good fight together… and please, no brown sauce on your BBQ. 😉
Oh, we just filled in the box for Trump, fifth time so far… and we voted for Garvey.
Add Seattlegrad to your list as being full of California wannabes. The eastern half of the state is red but not enough people to overcome the lefties on the western side.
Ditto Coloradograd. Look at our jug heads on the state supreme court.
Still some diehards in West CA.
I’m with you TonyE. I’m out here in “flyover” country, Kern Co California. Our local Republican Assembly endorsed Steve Garvey for Senate, and caught the ire of the California Republica Assembly. They demanded we rescind our endorsement with no explanation. I asked why, and crickets. Even a NASTY phone call to my husband (president) and he stood his ground! We refused! And guess what Steve Garvey has advanced to go against Adam Shifty Schiff in the general election. The CRA had endorsed Eric Early who only garnered 3.2 % of the vote! The CRA (establishment types) obviously wants Schiff, and are against us! Keep fighting! TRUMP MAGA AMERICA 2024!
Unbelievable how many traitors in the GOP are disguised as Republicans. They’re no more Republican than Xi Jinping.
One of the biggest steps in that long march thru the institutions was the infiltration and subversion of party politics. Reading a little history of how things were back in the early days of this republic, it’s obvious party politics were sharply divided along ideological lines. Since the long march began, those sharp divisions have become window dressing for a system that feigns its “differences.” There is no difference between R & D leadership these days. Sundance made a clean sweep of showing us how corrupt party leadership is. At the top of the party heap, R & D leaders are on the same mission: obliterate U.S. sovereignty. Schumer & McConnell are a perfect example of a duality with no difference.
From the 45 declared goals of the Communist party –
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
https://freerepublic.com/focus/news/1561529/posts
It’s clear from history that US party politics was dominated by forming factions/coalitions at the state level. The factions were often given colorful names but typically had a hierarchy calling the shots. The lack of ideological consistency was exemplified by the search nationally for “available” candidates. That’s why American Whigs only national success came by running popular generals with limited Whig credentials (better termed as WINOs). As it was, Taylor refused to fire Democrat appointees and flirted with creating his own “no labels” sort of party (ironically called republican). Earlier, VP Tyler wasn’t even Whig — he was “states rights party”. The only real Whig, Fillmore, was denied renomination as the Ws went with yet another general, Scott. Fillmore tried to go the third party route by promoting immigration reform via an “American Party” intended to co-opt the Know Nothing movement.
Many Republican governors are also RINO’s and corrupt from their early days to the present. Mine is.
I am well aware. Maryland has had only a few Republican governors (over the past half-century) and they were far from conservative; Larry “Lockdown” Hogan being the most recent. He’s a disgusting anti-Trump, anti-MAGA, Blob-controlled weakling who instantly genuflected to the Fauci-suggested Lockdown orders like all the others.
Before him we had Robert Ehrlich Jr., a one-termer who was mediocre but strictly a GOPe man. The last decent governor was back in the ’70s-’80s, actually an old school moderate conservative Democrat, William Donald Schaefer.
No love for Spiro Agnew? Willie Don was indeed old school democrat Baltimore machine politician, if you like machine politics.
No, Spiro seemed more interested in Spiro than the citizens of Maryland. I wasn’t ever much for machine politics; downright detested it, but Don was of a different breed than the others. He used the ‘machine’ to get HIS way, which was usually for something good. As Mayor, his revival of the downtown area, and especially the Inner Harbor and surrounding neighborhoods was unmatched by any other mayor in my or my father’s lifetimes (per my father, who was born in, lived in, and spent his entire working career in Baltimore). And the unbroken string of blatantly incompetent and/or crooked mayors since Schaefer has been abysmal.
Sounds a lot like Mass. In this state the Republicans will not even support a candidate that is not approved by the Democrats. In the last Republican primary election for the US Senate, the Republican State Committee would not support a highly qualified candidate, instead supporting a candidate that did not even campaign for the position. When the voting results of the Republican primary were announced, the party candidate got 60% of the votes. Nearly every voting area in the state had the exact same results, 60% for the parties candidate and 40% for the non party supported candidate. In the judications where machines were not used, the non party supported candidate won by 10-15 percent. Voting fraud in this state is systemic.
Note that “California Republican Assembly” is not part of the “California Republican Party”. I don’t know CRP rules/bylaws but generally state rules prohibit endorsements in party primaries. My state rules do allow endorsement for non-partisan races (all local offices in my state).
True, CRA is not part of the CAGOP. The CRA endorsed, and so have many other Counties. Not sure if they got the same flak from CRA that we did.
Nancy Pelosi – Maryland
Willie Brown – Texas
Adam Schiff – Massachusetts
Eric Swalwell – Iowa
Charles Manson – West Virginia
Just for starters..
The Central Valley has a HUGE Latino population. Seven years ago Bakersfield had 500 streetwalkers? Sad.
I was so proud to hear Steve Garveys speech after he tied with Schiff – what a wonderful, calm person he seemed to be- and then the news cut him off to tell us what they think! It made me so angry and I live in Louisiana – I wanted to hear him speak, but alas, it was not meant for the viewing publics ears.
Neither was Trumps interrupted speech- these people….grrrrrr – so clueless!
Sounds a lot like California with respect to the location of conservatives. A lot of conservatives still left in CA but we get rolled over by the coastal liberals while we populate the more rural interiors.
remember the Grateful Dead. They called those fans who never left your house after visiting till you kicked em out Jerrys kids. Scumbags high on LSD. Plenty of them left and on city councils and their grandkids are supporting hamas. CA and SF have a long history of hippies.
Exactly the same situation in Maine.
Maine is Deep State Rhino Land. The Bushites used to donate to hospitals here and has their following. The AmCham Republicans code word for Open Borders is WorkForce Housing which they used to call Affordable Housing which everyone knew mean Section 8 for refugees invading Maine. The Maine GOP is all about so called ProGrowth which in reality means making Maine look a lot like Texas Miami LA etc. In plain english a multcultural welfare drug and crime and ridden urbanized cesspool hell bent on replacing people born here with folks from and different continent and civilization.
Maine CD #2 is Trump country had voted for him in 2016 and 2020 so please don’t paint all of Maine with such a broad brush. The area you speak of is CD #1 which is dominated by the wealthy coastal elites and libtards. Your everyday Mainer can’t afford to live there, even if they wanted to.
We have some true conservatives in the Maine House of Rep. but unfortunately the Dems control all 3 branches of Government.
What you drscribe is, with minor variations EVERY State, from Az, New Mexico, Texas to Massachusettes, Deleware and NYS.
Vast majority of the State is Ruby Red and Rural, and small areas, geographically, are high population density cities, where (unlike the rural areas) they can ‘hide’ 30-50,000 phantom voters, AND where they can build a political machine, AND where they can have the “Tabulation centers” that (mis) Count the votes.
Respectfully, y’all are still making the mistake of focusing on the turtle on the fencepost (elected Public officials) rather than the sumbitch who PUT him there (elected PARTY officials) such as the Texas State Republican Party Executive Committee members.
Its Republican party officials who are responsible for recruiting and vetting candidates that endorse the party platform, which if you read it is actually quite MAGA.
Point is, we would not have any RINO, Bushie Traitors in office, or running for office, if not for the State Party being infiltrated.
Efforts to expose and eliminate RINOS in the legislature will be of limited value, unless we first expose and eliminate RINOS in control of the State R party.
And, don’t focus on the State Chair, they are subservient to the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, and THATS where the real political power resides.
Might this be a good argument for a MAGA party? Trump is well established now and could easily start a new party.
I think that ship has sailed. In 2021, after seeing the RNC do nothing about the 2020 steal, Trump had a choice: Start a Third Party or Re-takeover the GOP. Both options had pros and cons. Apparently he choose to Re-take over the GOP. Trump has the base and grassroots with him, but the GOP Establishment (GOPe) will not go quietly and without a fight – at the RNC level, at the state level, the county level, each precinct and every primary. It’s not going to be easy, but it is “doable”. The hard part is doing all that, while simultaneously fighting the dems in the forefront and the deepstate (all the rest of the entrenched uniparty and their bloated bureaucracy) behind the scenes.
Same in Virginia, and it’s frustrating – the ‘swamp’ is filled around the beltway circling D.C. and the cities are what they are everywhere.
The first thing we need to do is liberate the People’s Republic of Austin from the Marxist who now control it.
I’ve said this many times just because an elected official is a “Republican” doesn’t mean they are a conservative. Nor does it mean that they are to the right politically. Nor does it mean they are constitutionalists.
IMO, the vast majority of elected officials at all levels are grifters of one sort or the other.
Sadly, but by now these labels “Republican”, “conservative”, “Democrat”, “Liberal”, “he”, “she” are as meaningless as the epithets “racist”, “Nazi”, “hitlerite”, etc., are. Just as in the Exodus as we are building our AI Tower to the Heavens our language, words and grammar, are so totally confused that except for a single word starting with the letter “N” all are conversations are meaningless.
People lie.
A person can label himself anything.
We have to watch his actions to see the real self.
Actually, No.
Do a series of searches on “Political parties” and a little reading on their structure and function.
What unites a group of disparate individuals, is a shared group of Public policy initiatives they want to see enacted; single issue parties USUALLY don’t last long, unless they expand their platform.
The party officials recruit and vette candidates THAT ENDORSE THE PLATFORM, agreeing IF elected to public office, that they will work to enact those policies, in exchange for that, the party endorse the candidates.
So, what we have are party officials (mostly at the State level) that are derelict in their duty, recruiting candidates that do not actually support the Parties unifying platform, because frankly the State party officials don’t support the platform, either.
THIS is why “what is a Republican” and “what is conservative” has become so muddied as to be meaningless; the PLATFORM which is SUPPOSED to be the thing which unites many with disparate backgrounds in common cause, has become something not one elected R politician actually supports.
Yes, PDJT is MAGA and America First, but if you go back and look at the Republican Party PLATFORM, over the last 30 years, all of the key points of MAGA are there.
Tucker is correct, when he says ALL of PDJT’s policy positions (MAGA) would be standard for any Republican candidate, back in the 70’s or 80’s.
FIXING the Republican party, means focusing not so much on elected PUBLIC officials, (Mayor, Legislator, Gov., U.S. Senator and POTUS) but FIRST focus on elected PARTY officials; precinct Captain, District, County and State Chairs and the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES the chairs report to.
All of these party positions are elected in open elections, and so CAN be voted out. It takes a sustained, focused effort including generating the #’s of REGISTERED Republican voters (Indies need not apply!) willing to work within the party to identify expose and oust the traitors.
Its how politics works, and it only works if you work it.
Spot on! The political fight needs to include the precinct level, the county level, and the state level, not just “who is running the RNC” and/or “who is running for President”. And for the public office positions, the real fight needs to be in the primaries. If we don’t stop the RINOs there, then we are left with the choice of a RINO or a dem – which often happens and helps explain how we got into the mess we are in. Historically, primary participation rates are embarrassingly low, yet vitally important.
Yes: The world is full of phonies.
As God through Jeremiah tells us: “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.” Jeremiah 17:9.
ERGO:
Verify then trust.
I think the correct term is “traitors”.
Same as many who call themselves Christians just aren’t. Catholic Charities for example facilitating this invasion may not be Catholic at all but using in Jesus name to advance their sinister paln of Cloward and Piven. Catholic marxists hahahahah. There are stranger things. Christian is a good umbrella to hide under so be dicerning…..
And the skunk Karl Rove will fund democrats before he would support Paxton. Texas has a bad track record of appointing Speakers. The last three have been pukes . Even though the Grass roots GOP has a platform of issues for the legislature, the recent speakers refuse to even put them on the calendar for a vote. And then they also have appointed Democrats to chair the committees. It is beyond frustrating. The 3 judges who were ousted refused to let Paxton prosecute voter fraud!!! And they claimed to be conservative. Harris and Travis County are cesspools
I recall a story a few years ago where Democrats, realizing they’re effectively locked out in Red states, ran as Republicans to infiltrate the GOP caucus. They aren’t anymore Republican than Joe Biden.
Jeffrey Coley, My home state of Alabama has quite a few of those democrats who run as republicans.
Ala resident as well. I concur. There are long term dinosaurs that claim Conservative values yet refuse to pass legislation that benefits everyone instead of an elitist few. example legalization of cannabis products manufacturers and distributors, and legalization of gambling. Billions in profits and millions in tax revenue generated yet they wish for only a few to benefit from both of these being approved.
IIRC the Democrats took over the state GOP at the precinct level. Republican are very disorganized, the Democrats are disciplined and regimented. They showed up at meetings where maybe a handful of people show up with a dozen of their henchmen and seized control. Elected themselves to all the key positions of leadership. They aren’t even RINOs; they’re ersatz RINOs.
You are exactly correct on that Joe. I am a former County Republican Central Committeeman in Ohio and can tell you for a fact that we have as much, and sometimes MORE of a problem with the RINO’S than we do the DemocRATS. We have a bill sitting in Committee in our State Legislature that about 7 RINO’S in it will not allow forward for a vote called SAPA the “Second Amendment Preservation Act” that would stop the Federal Government from overruling our States authority on our 2nd Amendment rights. It’s been sitting there since December.
That is exactly right! Republicans doesnt mean conservative anymore! The Alabama RINO controlled by Shelby & McConnell! They slandered Roy Moore on national tv to put democrat Doug Jones in office. Roy Moore has won millions in law suits and fake news is silent. They spent 90 million on Alabama Senate race that year and last minute votes or flipped votes put Jones in office! I vote against anything PAC!!!!
Thank you for the update on Roy Moore. I wasn’t aware that he had won lawsuits – would these be defamation suits related to the stupid underage-girl-in-his-past story?
The real battle is to expose the corporate manipulation , that control the politicians and other government types, including judges.
Look no further than WI for the same. Robin Vos is as far away from being a maga republican as up chuck is. All Trojan horse and all by design to give the allusion of a two party system. We all know it is nothing more than a good cop bad cop production where they all play the rolls the script tells them!
Bingo! There is RINO “Red” and MAGA “Red”, both claim to be “conservatives” and “for the people”, but one is lying as they stab us in the back, and one is figuring out how to win the game – I think you know “who’s who”!
The attempted impeachment was the eye opener for many.
Same in CA.
We left Utah a year ago after 12 years there. The GOP at the state level is terrible, county varies. Mine was good. Cox is terrible, an easily manipulated tool. He wanted to lock us down and the legislature saved us.
Joe, I think this is a good perspective.
But I would argue that Abbot, is not far away from these McConnell-wannabes.
Abbot has been TX’s attorney general from 2002 till 2015.
He never did anything to wake up the Texans from the RINO-induced comma of political complacency.
Not suggesting that we have something better. But it is hard to trust Abbot given his history.
To me, unless a leader/commentator/official/adivisor has been persecuted by the bolshevick’s lawfare, or deplatformed by their economic persecution machine — that person is not to be trusted to be close to Trump (unless they prove somehow that they are not bolshevick surrogates that would try to sabotage MAGA agenda)
Abbott is a WEFfie. ‘Nuff said.
https://www.weforum.org/people/greg-abbott/
Most people don’t know much of politics and vote based on momentum and name recognition, without knowing much else.
What’s needed is a type of political reawakening where people are less apathetic and get involved in their communities.
It takes time to build your own momentum and get those people on your side. The question is… is there enough time before elections become meaningless?
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
~ Mike Vanderboegh
Amen. RIP Mike V while raising as much ruckus as you can.
Bingo! Regardless of how we got here (although that needs to be studied and “lessons learned” applied in the future), our choices now are:
I suggest getting involved in #1, preparing for #2 and may the Good Lord have mercy on you if you choose #3, because I won’t (and not because I don’t ‘feel your pain”, but because I will be too busy with #1 and #2).
I’m sorry, how’d the people you endorsed and actively campaigned for do?
I am very happy with our election results. Very happy. All of Trump’s endorsements won. As for auditors who didn’t make their positions known, they all received only a tenth of the available votes.
Incremental change. I look at the uber leftist (imaginary person). They were probably devastated with election results in 1980, 1984 and 1988, but slow change in 1992, a little more in 1994, then 1996….etc- now look the uber leftist is very happy.
In our instant gratification world, people get upset when things don’t work out and then say: “This is stupid. I’m never voting again, there’s no purpose in voting”
We make a difference where we can, incrementally.
Ideally, MAGA and MAGA-lite (not everyone’s perfect, lol) candidates will win election board and SoS office’s in 55 to 70% of areas.
I don’t care if democrats win fair elections where it’s 1 ballot, 1 vote for 1 individual legal citizen where that citizen only votes in a single polling location. <—— the dems would probably win 30% of positions with reps the rest split probably 70% “MAGA”/MAGA-lite and 30% Rino/GOPe/Dem-lite but R’s would set the legislative agenda across most of the nation.
It’s funny how the left went from anti-war in the 60’s through the early GWB Iraq adventure to full throat we must be involved in Ukraine. I think this shows the CIA/IC/Military-Industrial Complex takeover over of the political process.
I voted for everyone Donald Trump and Ken Paxton endorsed on my ballot. (Some were in different counties so I could not vote for them) The people I voted for all won the primaries. So people are listening about endorsements.
I’m in Frisco TX and it looks like all the MAGA candidates won here. The RINOs who survived are probably in areas where they still have some sort of influence. But Jared Patterson is still here and I want him gone (he recently called Paxton a “flight risk!”), but no one ever runs against the guy!
The one I think we really need to excise is Coryn. That fooker is a traitor of the Bush sort. Lies his ass off during campaign and election season, then literally mouths off on Twitter flaunting his corrupt arse for all to see for 4+ yrs after.
I suspect if the destruction continues with the same pace, we’re going to see at least pockets of “national razor blade” demonstrations. Well, one can hope, no?
OMG, please get rid of him. Please!!
Cornyn is not up for re-election until 2028. Texas does not allow recall elections like some states. He will be 76 at that time so he could try for another 6 yr term, if his health is OK. That will be our first chance to primary him.
I personally think he is going to help the UniParty achieve their agenda as much as possible these next for years, finish lining his pockets with gold, and then retire to try and spend all the money he has made in his government 401K account in Ukraine while still in good health.
I’m pretty sure no State allows for recalling U.S. Senators or Reps,…its a protection they subtley put in when they passed the 17A.
Cornyn is done. He knows that he faces Texas voters in ’26, and he knows that MAGA is well aware of his numerous betrayals. He was lustily booed at the last State Republican Convention after an anti-2A vote, and I am personally waiting to boo his lying ass again here in a couple of months.
Cornyn will not win a Primary. He is aware that he is hated in Texas. I predict he will retire in late 2025 and either serve out the remainder of his term, or leave so he can share in the spoils of the auctioning of his Senate seat. Either way, no more Cornyn. Good riddance.
Think positive dude. Better to have 10 more chances than to not…negatively is never the answer
We are very disturbed.
I’m in District 1 in Texas. We had a three way race for the Texas House district 1 seat.
Gary VanDeaver is the incumbent, used to be a superintendent here in East Texas. He also grew up in East Texas. He’s being endorsed by and receiving campaign money from Dade Phelan, the Speaker of the House and PAC money. VanDeaver voted to impeach Ken Paxton, He’s okay with open primaries and okay with democrat chairs.
Chris Spencer is Greg Abbot’s guy. Spencer jumped into the race at the last minute of being able to run for that seat. He’s getting his money from Abbott’s PAC.
Dale Huls was my candidate. He got his donations from small donors like me. Dale was endorsed by Ken Paxton.
Dale and Spencer ran on issues , the Border and school choice.
VanDeaver was against school choice. That’s what he focused on and it resonated with the teachers. Teachers, their families and their students that were able to vote, came out in droves to vote for him. Plus it was an open primary. VanDeaver has never had an opponent, run against him.
We we’re out knocking on doors back in August for Dale. Sending letters, making calls. We just didn’t have enough volunteers and money. But Dale would’ve been a perfect representative. He wasn’t bought.
This was a nasty campaign.
VanDeavers team came out with mailers probably twice a week. Some of the stuff on the mailers was viscous and mean. It was a democrat talking point calling Dale a Nazi. Dale’s MAGA and so am I.
Dale is a good man, veteran of the USAF, retired NASA engineer, has volunteered at the border for 12 years and a patriot!
Does that sound like a Nazi? That’s a democrat talking point put out by a Democrat!
So if you live in Texas District 1, I’d ask you to support Chris Spencer. Let’s get rid of the so called Republican, Gary VanDeaver.
In District 1, it was not about the border, it was about school choice, but every door we knocked on they were worried about the border issue. In my opinion, teachers were worried about losing their jobs if school choice passed.
Y’all have a great day and God Bless❤️
I’d also like to say too.
I know VanDeavers record and what he stands for but Chris Spencer, backed by Abbott, not sure about him, but that’s my choice this time.
Thank you for all your hard work, Celia!
Dale Huls had Paxton’s endorsement, didn’t do too well, came in 3rd; but, I’ll be voting Spencer in the runoff, it’s enough that VanDeaver voted for Paxton’s impeachment; and, yes, Spencer was endorsed by Abbott, and although Abbott is much better than a democrat, his endorsement doesn’t mean much to me. I voted Huls, too. Also, I’ve been trying to find info about Spencer without success, however do know that he is owner of the Crump’s stores in Linden and Hughes Springs. You are correct about the teachers, and VanDeaver is the standard for RINO’s, wouldn’t be surprised if he changed to the GOP in order to run for office back when he first ran.
Thank you for voting for Dale Huls. Dale is a good man and would’ve done our district proud.
Governor Greg Abbott appointed Spencer to the Sulphur River Basin Authority Board of Directors.
I’ve heard him talk in Cass County at one of the meetings there. He was talking about the Marvin Nichols Project. That’s a project if ever passed would flood over 72,000 acres of land adjacent to the Sulphur River. It would be one of largest reservoirs in Texas.
So Spencer would be a vote for Abbott if he wanted this Marvin Nichols Reservoir to go through.
A lot of people around our area don’t want it.
My family will be voting for Spencer. We didn’t want to vote for neither one but certainly aren’t voting for VanDeaver.
Huls was the man as far as I’m concerned; knew that tidbit about Spencer/Sulphur River Authority/Nichols Reservoir proposal, all of which caused me to vote Huls; Re Abbott, I consider him to be a Bush/Rove zombie and those are all reasons I’m leary of Spencer, too, but bottom line, give him a chance since he’s there, we know what VanDeaver is. The Nichols Reservoir project will be a disaster for everyone except the DFW Metroplex, hoping against hope Abbott etal will not support it, but, realistically, it’s most likely a done deal.
Keep in mind Texas is an open primary state.. that said at least a third of those that voted were democrats voting on a republican ticket.. This is why we can’t get rid of John Cornyn. He was on the democrat ticket before he was a Republican has never supported the party platform and does not support his constituents.. Notice Cornyn always runs unopposed by the party of the ass, there is a good reason for that..
open primary? i’m not sure… you ask for an R or D ballot, but maybe don’t have to register to vote as R or D? is that what you are saying?
As a native Texan, I feel qualified to respond:
I have long said “the biggest problem with Texas is NOT ENOUGH TEXANS.” Texas has for several decades attracted business and with it a migration of people looking for jobs. And they bring their non-Texas ideas. And on top of that, the large universities also managed to become as corrupt as all of the rest. (I’m not sure of A&M… are they woke?) I’ve been out of the state for a long while and that’s unfortunate but life works like that.
soon all your reps are gonna be cartel people. They have the money and the ruthless Democrat style to take most stuff over in Texas. Better get a handle on this quick. For most any politician money talks and the drug cartels are flush with cash and have invaded most of Texas.
I’m not a native but have lived here since 1996. I vote Republican. My wife immigrated here from Malaysia around the same time and she also votes Republican. So let’s not judge for people being “not Texan,” ESPECIALLY if you don’t even live here anymore!!
The inevitable shift in values and experiences. When I grew up, we explored the woods, trapped animals, shot BB guns and all sorts of things which would cause people to lose their minds. I saw a picture from a past era about that time where some kids were laying on a sidewalk, a board on a stack of bricks and a kid on a bicycle about to go Evel Knievel! The people sharing it called it “The Darwin awards” and I was just like “That’s another day after school where I lived. We did awesome things and had awesome times. We knew how to take a hit, how to fall and how to hide pain. We were REAL MEN in training.
Today? Where is it? If I even dared to try to teach children such things, I’d be arrested.

A&M used to be conservative, but sadly they have been making a lot of “woke” moves over the last several years.
God save Texas.
The most important thing I remember is that every year or so, some Democrat would try to amend the Texas State constitution to allow state income tax. Shut’m down EVERY time. I haven’t heard that changed so I guess there’s that.
Aggieland is no longer conservative, hasn’t been since John Sharp, former bigtime Texas democrat legislator, became Chancellor; Aggieland had to be destroyed, Sharp has pretty much done it; same goes for UT Austin, in spades.
30 years ago the Governor’s office and such decided Texas needed to participate in the Large University System contest. (University of California was identified as the idealized target). As such, Texas and UT threw money at the various campus to GROW. Organic growth wasn’t good enough; so massive recruitment for foreign students started. For example, UT Dallas has an underground nickname University of Bangalore at Dallas (or variations). A few years ago UT Regents told UT Dallas to recruit more Texas natives and provide more scholarships to Texans. The easy money was foreigners; so nada. UT Regents have reduced subsidy for UT Dallas from 25% of tuition to 5% of tuition as a result.
UT Brownsville, UT San Antonio, UT Austin, etc all have a similar story to tell. As a secondary result, all of these cities have growing enclaves of foreign nationals on visas (or not). If Texas and Paxton want to clean up the invasion, start enforcing visa expirations. Watch the drama as whole families are shipped back to a country that does not want them.
I remember when UTA was University of Texas in Arlington though most called it University of a Thousand Arabs at the time. LOL My older brother went there prior to going to officer candidate school. I was somewhere between 14 and 15 at the time… I did most of his homework.
Texas is one of the strong powerful innovative states. I’ve haven’t been there yet
but have always loved Texas. Blessings Daniel Go Texas
People need to stop thinking that these evil people are actually winning their races.
The uniparty marxists count the vote. The voters determine nothing. Those who count the votes determine everything, unless the turnout is so massive from the good people, that the uniparty’s actions to steal the election is thwarted.
Until the machines, the fraudulent pollbooks, the ballot harvesting, the early/late voting, the mail in voting, etc are stopped, the bad guys will continue to steal races.
This is not a new phenomenon. This is why the elections have almost always been a selection between the lesser of two evils your entire life. The elections have been stolen for a long, long time.
Houston is one of the largest population centers in America and challenging Chicago for its corruption! Hard to over come their boggie.
Too many voters are uninformed and rely on the existing parties’ voter guides!!
On the bright side, incumbents forced into runoffs rarely win in Texas. Lt Gov Patrick and AG Paxton now need to push hard down the home stretch in these runoffs to make sure all their endorsed candidates win. They could even drag Gov Abbott and Sen Cruz along with them – IMHO, neither are really MAGA despite what they say sometimes, but they are smart enough to know which way the wind is blowing. A Trump campaign stop in Texas before the runoffs would be great too. Texas is moving from RINO Red to MAGA Red, and they (the old establishment Republicans) better get on board or get run over.
The Bush establishment had truly embedded itself in the Texas House. They were dug in like a tick. And like a tick, they must be dug out.
This is an example of how to clean up DC.
I worked for the past two months for Brandon Gill, Mitch Little, Vince Gallo, Lacey Riley and to get all the judges elected. We worked a redwave voter slate here in Denton County. Voters are mindless, they don’t do research and have no idea of what is going on. I can’t tell you how many during early voting said to me, “I’m here to vote a straight Republican ticket”. Clueless. Rarely did anyone know that the current Supreme Court for TX judges ruled that AG Ken Paxton could not prosecute voter fraud. Greg Abbott endorsed all the house reps who voted to impeach Paxton, Dan Patrick too. For some reason unbeknownst to me Texans like Abbott, again mystifying. We had so many attack ads and visits to our town by Abbott it was astounding. Brandon Gill says he’s joining the Freedom Caucus (Dinesh’s son in law) and will be an awesome replacement from the RINO Burgess we’ve had for many years. For anyone buying into the MSM’s and newspapers telling you Texas is red and conservative. I’ve got news for you, in the last session the democrats were appointed to chair committees and got 70% of what they asked for, Republicans got 30%. Dade Phelan the current speaker is now in a runoff. We need to replace him he was
I’m also in Denton County!
The elections are rigged in Texas also, just not as bad
Here’s what’s happening in the Texas legislature.
The enemy has set the rules of engagement and the battle begins.
This is the best timeline…where they all start attacking each other out of spite. Won’t hear me complaining about that
What we’re likely to see now, is the RINOs who got in siding with Dems as their masks fall and they are revealed for the frauds they are.
Don’t expect this cycle to change much, except in the level of fervor as the ‘battle’ intensifies.
Congrats to the Paxton crew…
Only disappointment on Tuesday night was Race 108 in Dallas where Morgan Meyer, the incumbent, part of the cabal trying to impeach Paxton barely beat newbie Barry Wernich, a Paxton supporter.
Meyer is a pretty boy kiss ass Rino and will be beaten in the next election…
Mr. Paxton is worth his weight is gold.
And another disappointment is that rino Ellen Troxclaire won. Strangely enough Paxton didn’t campaign for her opponent Kyle Biederman. And Abbott and Dan Patrick poured big money in her campaign. Spit.
This quote of Mike Vanderboegh’s always reminds me of this poem by Sam Walter Foss, “Bring Me Men to Match My Mountains” as these, men and women, are what these times are calling for.
an excerpt:
“Bring me men to match my mountains,
Bring me men to match my plains,
Men with empires in their purpose
and new eras in their brains.
Bring me men to match my prairies,
Men to match my inland seas,
Men whose thoughts shall pave a highway
up to ampler destinies.
Pioneers to cleanse thought’s marshlands,
and to cleanse old error’s fen;
Bring me men to match my mountains –
Bring me men! ”

Words (just the last line) that used to be inscribed over the battle ramp at the US Air Force Academy—until it was removed because it offended female cadets. Females who were too stupid to realize that they, too, were the ‘Pioneers’.
When several run, it is almost impossible to draw that 51% need to win outright. Paxton will need to keep up the heat in order to wipe phelan out of the seat. The bushes are powerful in TX, especially Austin.
Then Austin needs to be highlighted as what you end up with per the bushCARTEL agenda – destroyed – Austin crime and homeless filth are out of control … one day in 2024 there were ZERO on duty police and NO ONE answered 911 calls.
Paxton. Have you picked out a house in Bethesda yet?
Unless the news has changed or bypassed me, AG Paxton is still in the crosshairs of the Stalinist DOJ. Last I heard his trial for some Berian “crime” is due to start sometime in April. He will need the protection of God Himself and all His warrior angels. Texas is the prize, and our enemies mean to have it.
“Berian crime” is an excellent phrase!
For those who might not know, Lavrenty (i.e. Lawrence) Beria was Stalin’s main henchman, famous for (possibly, it is disputed) saying:
“Show me the man and I will show you his crime.“
I love this shit!
It is officially open hunting season for RINOS.
good but beware of good looking Latinos who have all the conservative talking points down but are actuall funded by the cartels money. Money talks there is no goodness in politics.
A good defense is great but it won’t win any games without offense and following through. It all sounds great but I’ll reserve my judgment till we see what they accomplish. With the Bushies losing power we have some hope but I’m still watching TX and still see it as the Dems new kalifornia..
Bushies losing power – SAF
I was a Republican and embarresed to say so. Mitch was just too much for me to call him leader of a team I was on. Actually there are so many like minded RINOS still sabotaging and joining the dirty tricks crew for my return. Little to none push back for voting integrity still. Personally I see little hope dealing with these people who are sellouts and yet Paxton is small light in the tunnel and a good fighter. Too bad so few as the country is circling the bowl so fast now recovery will be a miracle.
Sorry, you can’t have Paxton. He’s ours and we need him. How about Tony Buzbee?
I want an Attorney General who will uphold and enforce the
US Constitution.
Enforcing that will be a tough job. It would require removing 99 per cent of the alphabets and its workers/leaders.
They are solidly under the the control of the globalist/marxist cabals. A total house cleaning is needed.
I dont see them allowing anyone to clean that house. They would rather rule over the ashes than concede the ground and power they have acquired through cheating and lies.
A pox on them all!~
Exactly. My brother in CA keeps begging me to send Paxton out there. And I keep refusing.
When you hear we need more consensus and reach out to the other side remember the folks you want to get together with hate you in the worst kinda ways. They will repress you on a dime and prolly worse. Remember the names you have been called and the false indictments and fake evidence used to cripple your candidate. Reaching out is code for RINO sabotuers. Good for Paxton to chase them away.
I sincerely hope President Trump returns to the White House in 2025 and Ken Paxton is confirmed as Attorney General of the United States. If there’s anyone who will take a wrecking ball to the deep state imbeds in DOJ and FBI, it’s Paxton. He has the courage and furthermore a deep grudge against those who attacked him and President Trump.
Pretty sure he’ll have a tough time getting confirmed, though. And if he is expect him to immediately face charges of corruption and demands that he recuse from cases, a-la Jeff Sessions. I’m certain Paxton won’t fall for THAT trick like the feckless Stealth Jeff. He’ll do what Jeff should have done: Fire everyone who calls him into a meeting and asks him to recuse on the spot, have them escorted from the building without their coats, and secure their offices, computers, and government/personal cellphones as evidence in a criminal investigation.
The charge? Seditious conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United State.
Cleaning out the DOJ is going to need more than just a good “Wingman”, as it is a whole nest of vipers.
Fortunately, there ARE a whole group of Lawyers who have had their private practices severely damaged, if not effectively destroyed by lawfare attacks,…everything from pressuring clients to leave, to bar association ethics complaints.
So, they are available and motivated to move into the positions that will open up when PDJT moves back to DC.
There is a whole division, focused on descrimination, that can be used to root out DEI, which IS institutionalised descrimination.
Reforming the IRS, can use it to go after abuse of the NGO non-profit and not for profits, from Act Blue to Catholic Charities,…
So much to do, so little time to do it!
Due to a decade of brutal yankee and carpet bagger occupation, Texas had to write a new Constitution to reenter the Union. It demanded laws be approved by voter amendments, with 517 so far. The 1948 senate race, LBJ “won” with thousands of illegal mail in ballots. The 1953 Legislature passed and governor signed sensible mail in restrictions, which met US Constitution requirements for federal elections. Paxton had 900 cases of 2020 vote fraud, in the four counties with Soros district attornies who refused to prosecute. Three of these RINO judges on the Supreme Criminal have been replaced. HALLELUJAH !
I attended True Texas Project meeting, while Paxton was still under impeachment gag order and heard the justice who wrote the majority opinion, based on case law from a 1910 temperance vote in one west Texas county. Legal gerrymandering that sanctified 2020 voter crimes. Good riddance to these RINO judges
I voted for all three judges. Was so glad to hear they won. Also voted for John Devine.
Every “red” state GOP has been infiltrated. I live in Florida. The GOP in charge of the legislature and Gov. Meatball are all GOPe. There are virtually no true America First officials in our governing bodies. Our AG, Ashley Moody, is a joke. The entire executive branch is one blob, with Meatball at the center. The local GOP Executive Committees, of which I’m a member, are largely controlled by the GOPe. It can seem overwhelming, yet there are those of us who try to push for change and get true conservatives elected. But the voters are lazy, they don’t research their candidates. They’ve been brainwashed over decades to think that if they see an R next to a person’s name, it’s all good. Changing the situation is a real challenge. But we are trying. Pull back the covers and you’ll see for yourself, there are no deep red states anywhere.
Infiltrated ? They were always GOPe.
In the beginning, there was the WHIG.
Wealthy with interests in competition with those who profitted from slavery, directly or indirectly, they viewed supporting these “new Republicans” as beneficial to their financial interests, a chance to ‘stick a thumb in the eye’ of their Democrat competitors.
So, they merged with the Republicans, who had built up an impressive grass roots campaign in a short period of time.
“You Republicans go out in the limelight, and we will deal with mundane stuff like finances, and party formation and hierarchy” they told the naive Republicans….
In short, the Whigs didn’t truly disappear, asin become extinct. They just stepped into the shadows, and we Republicans having made a deal with the devil, have been cursed with them ever since as “Country Club”, “Rockerfeller” Republicans they have used and abused our fervor and enthusiasm, while furthering the Globalust agenda, and frankly its time to end them.
And that means siezing control at the State Executive Committee level, as THAT is where the political poweris concentrated.
Ain’t I been sayin it?
No red or blue States, lile Jessica Rabbit, they are just PAINTED that way.
And County Recorders/Election Boards are the painting subcontractors, and State R party Executive Committees are the General Contractors.
MAGA 👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
Ken Paxton is simply showing us what a good, decent, faithful man is, lest we forget.
I hope he succeeds beyond his own expectations. The RINO’s are just as evil as the Democrats though and won’t ever fight fair.
Obviously no one agrees with everything on here and I find myself at about 80% complete agreement on average… maybe 90% depending on the day or week.
But this one? 100.99999% with an overflow error.
We absolutely need to have MAGA completely in charge and without any notion of “recusal” as we know they will attempt to have. Lawfare of the left/establishment only works if it goes ONE WAY.
As we are seeing, return Lawfare is WINNING MAGA bigly. We’re watching Fani Willis and eventually all of the rest get destroyed by “return fire” from MAGA lawfare.
And the BIGGEST difference is our ammunition IS NOT FAKE. We’re capable of sending highly effective and accurate ammunition because they don’t have the armor they need to survive it. Truth, Facts, Evidence and God are providing the armor MAGA needs.
I’m in Fort Worth and I voted for all of Ken Paxton’s endorsed candidates on our ballot, even if they overruled Greg Abbot’s endorsements (school vouchers). Kay Granger (R-12) was one of the ten republican house members that voted with Democrats to impeach President Trump. She “decided” to retire, and now we have Craig Goldman, one of the lead Paxton impeachers, running for the 12th district with very heavy outside money. John O’Shea forced Goldman into a runoff election May 28 (no one got over 50%). Goldman got 44.3%, and O’Shea got 26.4%. I gave a small donation to O’Shea immediately (https://www.oshea4texas.org/), and will see if I can volunteer in some capacity in the next 2 months.
Just north of you in Denton. We, too, voted for all of Paxton’s choices. And our toady Dist 64 rep Stuckey is in a runoff. This is one rep who has not represented us well at all. And now it’s time for us to go put on our Hopper4Texas t-shirts and see what we can do to make sure we kick out Stuckey!
Not a good takeaway from Just The News John Solomon, I was surprised by his reporting.
Majority of House Republicans who voted to impeach Paxton won primary races https://justthenews.com/nation/states/center-square/majority-house-republicans-who-voted-impeach-paxton-won-primary-races?utm_source=mux&utm_medium=social-media&utm_campaign=social-media-autopost
Article states 33/70 races won outright with 10 going to a runoff; that’s progress regardless of how Solomon reported it. In my district the Paxton endorsee was 3rd, didn’t make it to a runoff, a huge disappointment, but the incumbent faces a tough runoff race, and it is likely that Paxton endorsements will wind up being better than 50%.
I agree.
I don’t understand Solomon wanting to cast a negative light on the outcome.
I am hoping Texas can rid themselves of their Woken population. I believe the toe sucking in the school houses may be the straw that broke the Woken camel’s back. I have a niece who lives in Austin and her neighborhood is as Woken as it can get. But even the Woken want safety and they are seeing the results of these policies in the real world now. The tide is turning, but Texas is still a very large and vulnerable State.
Since I lived in Houston before even Sheila Jackson Lee was on a ballot there, I have a very difficult time watching what Texas has become in the last 30 years. I am praying for Texas because, without them, our Country is toast.
Such a strange thing,…the Globullusts had achieved TOTAL success in their long march thru the Institutions, gaining control of all political parties, the Giverment, the Unions, the media, and institutions as diverse as AMA, ABA to Boy Scouts, ..
And all while most of us slept, and were just focused on living our lives.
But they weren’t content, and so had to push for their Grand Transformation, shoving all of their woke crap down our throats, and openly displaying their contempt for US, with unmistakeable Hubris and arrogance.
And every action to push, cause more of us to wake from our stupor, and see the matrix, taking “the red pill”.
If they hadn’t choked and fumbled, on the 10 yard line, I wonder if they WOULD have succeeded,…
It ain’t over ’til it’s over.
A recent podcast by Atty. Tom Renz, had Jovan Hutton Pulitzer as a guest. They discussed election integrity, along with recent SCOTUS ruling regarding Trump on the ballot in CO. Jovan also explained the practice in Georgia…how Democrats are recruited and then trained on how to be Republicans who then run for office as “Republicans”…wolf in sheep’s clothing. That explains SOS Raffensperger and Governor Brian Kemp.
Good for Paxton. Can’t win every race, but making solid progress, not just writing letters and holding news conferences.
Paxton would make a fine US Attorney General.
Trump needs an AG with the aggressiveness of a Paxton to drain the swamp in the government and in the businesses exploiting the government. Whether it is Paxton or not, the person must come from outside the shithole known as the DC/ K street swamp!!
I doubt McCONnell or Schemer would allow Paxton to become AG.
If VSG somehow becomes Pres, this will be one of the mega fights. Who’s choice will become AG, VSG’s or the Sewer’s?
Maybe VSG should just refuse to staff the top of the DOJ and go with temps like he did with Grennel at NSC?
Life is good. Great job, Texas.
Although I’m still annoyed that a 100K people thought that Trikki Nikki was worthy of their vote. What’s going on with all these saboteurs? Are these dems, or a remnant of the Bushies?
I worked the polls on Election Day in Texas HD1 up in East Texas.
Open primary, so a lot of democrats crossed over and voted for Gary VanDeaver, which is a Republican and is against school choice. He wasn’t on the democrat ballot. VanDeaver used to be a school superintendent and grew up here in East Texas. We had a bus from the school here show up to vote for VanDeaver. A lot of school and teacher support for VanDeaver.
Nikki Haley was on the Republican ticket so I’m sure a lot of the democrats voted for her over President Trump.
That’s what I think some of it was.
{{The media uses terms like “revenge” and “anger”…..}}
…..meaning we The Patriotic Peeps should N*E*V*E*R
ever-ever use it in print==headlines or otherwise.
Whilst we all likely feel the above R word–and then some–
all it’s use does is scare potential switchers away. Thus
it is simply ridiculous to employ that tactic. *Kinda*sorta*
*basically* reminds of *CONTROLLED OPPOSITION*…hmm?
Trump isn’t going to get whoever he picks to be his AG into office. The RINO’s in the Senate will tell him who they have the votes for and who they don’t. That is how the deep state protects itself.
They should have left Ken Paxton alone and he would have done nothing. This is what turn so so republican to hardcore MAGA. Just ask Matt Gaetz.
It is ironic that Paxton’s candidate endorsements seem to produce more victories than Trump’s do. Maybe this is just a function of the Texas political climate … but I still have a bruise from the 2016 special runoff in Georgia that cost us the Senate, when Assoff and Warlock were elected because a large share of the registered GOP base did not vote.
When I voted in the TX primary, what I was mainly appalled by was the sheer number of positions being voted on. That’s a lot of cost – and so it was tough to remember the names “for” even though I went by Paxton’s suggestion list. BTW i took 3 others with me too, mainly to vote for DJT.
Trump should make it clear to him that if he goes after Trump’s enemies the first SCOTUS slot belongs to him.
