NBC is clutching their pearls as Texas AG Ken Paxton celebrates dozens of victories for his endorsed state candidates who primaried Bush-supported Republicans. Additionally, his endorsements and support for the challengers in Texas has led to an additional ten runoff elections, including the potential removal of Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan who led impeachment proceedings against him.
The media uses terms like “revenge” and “anger,” however, most of the MAGA coalition smile and think of Paxton as the leading candidate to be nominated by President Trump for U.S Attorney General next year. Yeah, this article is buckets of awesome.
TEXAS – Out of the 70 candidates on the ballot yesterday that Texas GOP Attorney General Ken Paxton endorsed, 33 won their primaries outright, while 10 have advanced to a runoff.
Paxton helped defeat seven Republican state House members who voted to impeach him last year on corruption charges. He also boosted nine other GOP candidates for state House seats.
His endorsed candidates unseated three Republican judges on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, who had angered Paxton by keeping his office from prosecuting voter fraud, and a handful of other incumbents.
“Texans have spoken loud and clear,” Paxton wrote on X, the platform once known as Twitter. “The victory of Judges David Schenck, Gina Parker, and Lee Finley, endorsed by my office, marks a significant moment in our state’s legal history. It sends a powerful message that Texans demand judges who prioritize the Constitution and uphold the rule of law.”
Paxton isn’t letting off the gas, in no small part because his top target — Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, who led impeachment proceedings — is heading to May runoff election.
Paxton, along with Trump, endorsed one of Phelan’s opponents, Republican activist David Covey.
“Today’s election results have revealed that the battle for the soul of Texas is far from over,” Paxton wrote in a post on X early Wednesday, addressing the outcome of Phelan’s race. “This runoff is not a defeat, but rather a call to arms for all who stand for the principles of the America First movement. Let this runoff be a rallying cry for all conservatives across Texas.”
The Texas runoff elections will occur on May 28, a little over a month after Paxton’s first court appearance on April 15 for charges of securities fraud. (LINK)
terms like “revenge” and “anger,”
I ACCEPT THESE TERMS.
“Unconditional Surrender” has a nice history and makes for a worthy goal.
Take no Prisoners!
I like it!
Damn straight!
Must happen. The monsters cannot go unscathed.
I accept the term anger. Revenge to me is a very slippery slope. and means his anger hasn’t been fully expressed as yet. I want to see Paxton’s full anger. Roar about your righteous anger, Paxton, but don’t stoop to being STOOPID plotting revenge.
Think I am over dosing on too many examples of revenge being played out in all of the “legal” cases against President Trump. They are all becoming something akin to burnt pancakes.
These all grand examples of how revenge gets a human nowhere. Anger good. Revenge not so much.
Vengeance is mine, says the LORD.
P.S.
And be ready to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience has been fulfilled.
Trust God. Fear not.
Revenge is a dish best served cold. At the right time!
YES!!! it very much is! Praise God for all we are witnessing. Job said it best: The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Let Him handle this. Pray always without ceasing. He will hear us.
Retribution is a much better word, to be used alongside anger.
Retribution, determination to right the wrongs, and providing justice.
Fix Bayonets!
And the term, “Bush Crime Family.”
Revenge and anger? I reckon so.
add “retribution” to that list please!
I attend a church in Texas with a campus in Fort Worth that started a Liberty and Justice ministry. This is to bring those God called to public service into the arena with righteousness and confidence in God to the government. This could be servicing in administrations, as a representative in government, or policy fighting for the Kingdom of God. From school boards, to city government positions, and statewide positions members of my church are stepping into the arena to do the will of God and not of man. The goal is not a party the goal is to do God’s will with strength boldness and confidence in God. One of the member from the church won state rep and opposed the speaker’s in his freshman year.
I remember when President Trump told Christians that we are weak and we should not be. It got me to seriously question the level of faith I walked this life in. I started the transition when I was living in Wisconsin and since moving to Texas my faith is fortified.
I like this; I think it puts things in perspective for so many who feel that all a church should do is preach the Gospel. Liberty and justice SHOULD be a ministry of the church, AMONG OTHER MINISTRIES. Sending this out to my email list as something churches should consider.
We are not weak. Meek is a much better description.
Blessed are the Meek.
Jesus and Moses were both Meek men.
Through our Father in Heaven they brought miracles. It can be the same for any of us.
And never mistake kindness for weakness.
And here is Moses the Meek
Awesome! God bless you all!🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ekklesia. That is the word replaced with church in the NT by king James. “Ecclesia (Ekklesia) is the term used for the assembly in Greek city-states (poleis), including Athens. The ecclesia was a meeting place where the citizens could speak their minds and try to influence one another in the political process.” It was also used to elect officials & declare war. It was local governance.
Church is a local assembly governed by the rules of a 501c(3) to restrict our speech and activity. God is reawakening His Ekklesia..
I also lived in Wisconsin for a few years. The people are nice and the state is neat and tidy, but there is something lacking there. Backbone, perhaps. I could never put my finger on it.
I love that! Stop accepting things you cannot change,,,,and start changing things you cannot accept!!! (I think that is a play on an AA mantra).
PRAYER FOR SERENITY
Attributed to Reinhold Niebuhr, Lutheran theologian (1892–1971)
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
amen
Amen Charles Amen
R.D.
Reinhold was a heretic who attacked the Scripture through modern textual criticism. Any pithy saying coming from him should be viewed with suspicion and countered through God’s Word the Holy Bible. Pretty sure we’re in these current circumstances because the church has wholesale abandoned the crystal clear streams of God’s Word and instead embraced the scummy pond of man’s teachings. You know the Christian Book Publishing industry is a multibillion dollar industry. Money and lies once again. I pray God’s church wakes up and believers return to God’s Holy Word the Bible.
The Bible IS the only way to Jesus, who is the only way to God…..
it is. It is the Serenity Prayer
Ken Paxton for Vice President, Attorney General or FBI Director!
(D)….All of the Above
We do not need a FBI.
We need to not have an FBI.
FTFY.
I believe he would be a most savvy and effective AG for President Trump and we the people.
Agree. However….he is the MAIN reason we have a fighting chance here in Texas. Don’t know of anyone that could continue the fight for Texas like Paxton.
PS: Dade Phelan has all of that RINO money behind him, but I believe he will be defeated.🙏🏼🙏🏼
Just imagine what it would be lie to have an AG that upholds the Constitution!
When it comes to the battle with RINOS and Democrats,
show them no mercy, as you shall receive none!
They’re in bed with perverts and traitors.
Our Weasel house member – Morgan Meyer (108) of Dallas, squeaked over 50% with a few hundred votes. Trump endorsed challenger Wernick only after early voting had already started. This guy is Ways & Means chmn, a (R), unlike other Cmte chairs that are(D)s, part of the RINO approach not to be accountable for 20 years over overwhelming (R) control of Tx House, so they won’t get blamed for no restriction on State of Texas spending & taxes.
The impeachment trial of Paxton was another farce led by Dade Phelan. The Bush-Karl Rove junta (as Steve Bannon calls them) hate Paxton because he beat George P. Bush. I am so happy for Ken Paxton. They stabbed him in the back. The hunted has now become the hunter!!!!
I’m looking forward to seeing Phelan unemployed. He FA’d and now he’s going to FO. He’s NOT going to like it.
The initial impeachment caught everyone by surprise. But the TX Senate trial roused enough Texans to put some fear into the (too many) RINOs in the TX Senate. I was so outraged when I saw how flimsy the “evidence” was against Paxton that I phoned every single TX senator and made my thought clear. Most likely a number of other Texans did the same thing so that the Senate declined to “convict” Paxton last Sept. Of course they have other charges against Paxton, because as we’ve seen, the Left NEVER STOPS.
It is incumbent on all of us to continue to push our representatives in as many ways as possible. The challenger to the Bushie/RINO House member in our area failed in the primary; but his showing was not bad considering how little his run was publicized. It is ridiculous that the TX Speaker (Phelan) grants chairmanships to Dems when Rs control the TX House. Many other weaseley moves in the past, but I’m hopeful that yesterday’s results will prove salutary in reorienting TX state governance.
Seems like this drive to clean house in our TX statehouse has also prompted more resolute actions from Gov Abbott.
Ken Paxton’s lawyer was terrific. Team Trump could use his skills.
I agree! He operated like a buzz saw in court.
Tony Buzbee
https://www.txattorneys.com/attorneys/tony-buzbee/
located a usurpor…a real live citizen “author” who was responsible for spreading many lies. He works for the bush cabal in one of their many syndicates.
he will be unemployed next week. I promise.
nothing: this is how it’s done. You find them, and then you take them out. Simple.
will it make a difference? yes, I will make a difference.
what does making a difference really mean? to either sit on your hands, or use your hands. that is the question.
God Bless America
WOW regitiger…well said !!! We all need to use our hands.
May God Bless YOU, regitiger. You are forever my favorite palindrome 😉 and such a blessing to read your insights. Always.
What about all the liars on TV all day every day who spread lies? How will they be held to account? Discredited and unemployed is not enough. They were paid to spread lies and most paid very very well. It cost the country dearly. A price needs to be paid for such treachery. How does that happen, legally? (Asking for a friend.)
By taking power and making it legal.
(h/t Emperor Palpatine)
More power to you and others who pursue this righteous work.
Get em, Regi!
There is only one reason the ‘big club’ hangs together…
Trust God. Fear not.
let the pre-dawn, flash bang arrests begin the morning after inauguration beginning with the biden crime family and then mayorkas followed by wray
cuff them and take them into custody for public humiliation…and take their photo for all to see!!
Along with all the alphabet propagandists who have lied trying to destroy US.
mayorkas needs to be banished to GITMO.
Gitmo sounds good. Hell sounds better
I would prefer trial for treason, conviction, and hanging by a rope until dead. This to be followed by confiscation of all assets and their donation to the U.S. Treasury.
To expand on your last thought, mac, most politicians and bureaucrats for the last 50 years have looted our treasury for personal gain. They and their heirs should be held accountable for the national debt incurred during that timeframe.
Start with the underlings not known to the public first. Put the squeeze on them. They will rat out those above them. The Biden crime family is too well known to successfully run and hide. It’s the unknowns that can be used against the higher-ups that need to be apprehend first, as they are the ones that could easily slip into the shadows undetected.
Don’t forget Meritless Garland, and I live to see the day John Brennan gets his just desserts. I look at him and see evil personified.
If you get a chance, watch the impeachment trial of Ken Paxton on CSPAN. Paxton’s lawyers were the cream of the crop and destroyed the impeachment managers. The best line came from Tony Buzzbee. He said, “This is Texas. The Bushes can go back to Maine.”
We had a ball watching it right here
Sadly Buzzbee was not successful in his run for mayor in Houston.
Good lawyers should stay out of politics and clean up their own profession.
Tony Buzzbee would be helpful on Team Trump.
If Ken Paxton becomes AG, everyone who committed election fraud in 2020, will be charged with a felony.
Dan, it will quite probably be SEVERAL felonies apiece.
Payback! I want some payback from these filthy vermin! I want to hear the “lamentations of their women!”
Oh, wait, Maddow and her coven of harpies have been lamenting up a storm since Monday.
Yes. The full quote from Conan the Barbarian, when asked “Conan, what is best in life?”
Conan answers, “To crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentation of their women.”
Ahhhh, yes, next to Roadhouse, Conan the Barbarian was one of the greatest films ever made.
Is Maddow really a woman ????
LOL. She’s fluid.
I think she(it) is a Mad Cow.
I had the honor of voting for some of those judicial candidates, our AG from the great state of Texas endorsed.
And John Devine survived in the Supreme Court election by about 1% after the Bush crowd pulled a late attack on him which caused his opponent to get 52% of the election day vote.
Tough luck Bushies. Go back to Maine.
Ken Paxton is a Great American and National Treasure.
He needs to replace Abbott the Boneless as Governor, and — if we can continue to overcome the Chasm of Fraud beginning this year with the re-election of Donaldus Magnus — could one day be a great MAGA-Prince disciple.
Paxton on Bannon today said Cornyn’s career is done and he will be primaried by someone. Funny how Cornyn all of a sudden now likes Senator term limits. I see how that works.
This is also terrific news. Cornyn is a total globalist and unresponsive to his constituency.
I will be proud to vote against Cornyn. He wants our guns. Never happen.
4th generation patriot in Texas and proud of it. Don’t slam the screen door on your way out .
MAGA
Power on. Kudos to Paxton. He is someone I could probably trust w/in the Trump circle.
Pray diligently for such men.
Bravo!!
Trump needs more men like Paxton.
Revenge and Anger are the polite terms for what shall be cast upon the democrat/socialist/marxist among us.
Good to see Texas actually look somewhat conservative for the first time in a while. Maybe the state isn’t as lost as we feared.
MAGA Texans 🙋 are ecstatic over the success and taste of sweet sweet revenge by the grassroots! We ain’t done yet but I’m proud to have been 1 vote towards these wins! 1 by 1 our collective votes are adding up and beating the RINO’s and big 💵 against us. As President Trump says, Our revenge will be our success!
Don’t mess with Texas &
Don’t mess with Paxton!
MAGA has ascended in Texas!
Wolverines. TY for the report.
Paxton – America’s AG!
Sweet!
“The Bush era ends today in the state of Texas” by Tony Buzbee. I like this video from Ultra Maga Party of the closing argument in the Ken Paxton impeachment trial:
https://rumble.com/v3i55qu-paxton-defense-lawyer-tony-buzbee-the-bush-regime-ends-today.html
Happy to see the choice of photos.
The lawyer to the left of Paxton is Mitch Little. He helped a candidate to be elected to the Texas House during the last election cycle. That same woman voted to impeach Paxton. Mitch Little primaried her yesterday.
https://texasscorecard.com/local/mitch-little-beats-freshman-state-rep-kronda-thimesch-in-primary/
The lawyer to the right of Paxton of course is Tony Buzbee. He ran for Houston City Council but lost in the runoff. Not certain why he lost. It might have had something to do with the Sherman M4A4 tank that was parked in front of his house on River Oaks Blvd, THE street long populated by old Houston money.
Yes! Paxton for Attorney General. And how about Ashleigh Merchant as Deputy Attorney General?
My AG!!!!
May PAXTON be the HAMMER that TRUMP Wields! AKA KEN MARTEL!
Texas has produced some great Conservatives. Best news of late was Trump’s speculation that Abbott would make a great VP!!! Now you’re talking sense Trump. Nevermind the air head glamor girl Kristy Noem; or nice guy Scott; or any other member of Congress. Give us a street fighter who knows now to win as VP. And Paxton will either be AG or next TX governor.
“Don’t mess with Texas!”…… believe it.
Texans have shown that the past 3 years of supporting President Trump’s MAGA / America First objectives have borne a huge crop of high grade fruit.
By working at the local and state party levels as active, outspoken members of President Trump’s MAGA / America movement, a state, once, one of the main targets of the democrat / GOPe coup to be turned blue, has soundly rejected their advance and have proudly announced their over whelming support of President Trump.
Texas should be a good example of what can be done to the MAGA citizens in America’s blue and purple states.
It takes hard work but it pays off and IT CAN BE DONE.
One of the points to remember is that MAGAs come up through the local / state entities.
You don’t need any stinkin’ feds to do it. In fact, they will slow you down if not stop you completely.
Don’t spend your resources (time and $) on the dc / international distractions. They are put there by the manipulators of the Overton Window to monopolize the topics people spend their time on. The professional manipulators are paid employees of the intelligence agencies. They are no friends of President Trump’s MAGA / America First movement.
Avoid them.
“Let’s go Brandon and the democrats and the GOPe!”
He needs to endorse his replacement and then go on to be Trumps AG.
I hope he sends the Bush’s back to Connecticut. Carpetbagging scum they are!
We don’t want them!
Mr Paxton’s lawyer during that sham impeachment trial was TREMENDOUS (gray suit, light blue tie to the left of Paxton).
Possible 43 out of 70 is great… but it is a good start. I hope he gets his revenge.
I want revenge.
I forget the guy’s name but Paxton’s lawyer did an excellent job defending him in court! Textbook takedown of all the accusers, one-by-one.
Tony Buzbee
Rush Limbaugh once speculated that Barack Obama would move on to heading the UN, because being the American President simply was not a big enough job for him.
Globalism appeals so much to our politicians because it sates (nearly) their outsized egos. The Bush (and Cheney) clans feel that ruling the world is about right. Where do they apply?
John McCain and Mitch McConnell and Bill Clinton (the list is long) don’t believe in much, except themselves. Perhaps we should be grateful that such people can be distracted by the Washington circus. Otherwise, they might really try to help us (shudder).
The history of Europe is the history of endless wars between minor nobles and kings. One of the main incentives for the American Revolution was to break free from this bloody cycle. Yet our egomaniacal Congressmen have dragged us back into the same pointless cycle.
Traditional American leaders like Paxton want to tend to America, and the good of their own families and communities. The globalists find this parochialism and nationalism downright obscene.
This is the feel good story of the day. I already liked Paxton but he continues to impress.
As for the histrionic, shrieky media, any anger expressed is righteous in nature and revenge clearly and unambiguously justified.
So neener neener to them. 😝
“But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully.”. 1Tim 1:8
Trust God. Fear not.
Paxton helped defeat seven Republican state House members who voted to impeach him last year on corruption charges.
You can bet not one of them saw this coming when they voted to cripple the Texas AG from doing his job by supporting a sham impeachment.
…..and a young Bush scion, with a recently reactivated law license, sits and ponder what could have been.
I want two things resulting from this election cycle
1) Mass Deportation
2) A whole lot of Revenge, Retaliation, Retribution and Reckoning
I will probably be let down because Republicans never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity….but that’s my starting point.
The word should be retribution… “Punishment administered in return for a wrong committed.”
I’m sure that even a mediocre lawyer could make a legitimate case for Treason to be charged…
“Revenge is the act of harming someone in response to a perceived wrong against you, while vengeance is a broader term, relating to the act of retribution or punishment, often for moral, ethical, or LEGAL reasons.”
“To avenge someone means to take action in response to a wrong done to them out of a desire for justice, while revenge is motivated by anger or malice.”
Avenge vs. Revenge vs. Vengeance – Difference, Meaning & Examples (grammarist.com)
Well stated, thank you!
Mel, I’ve been through the whole thread and not once seen DISCIPLINE. The Punishment variety. Removal from their perceived position of power is only a start. Bearing false witness has yet to have its consequences laid out. These types of “people” need to be pariahs to society. Know to all as Liars and Fools. Shunned and abhorred by society. Discipline requires the removal of the things they REALLY love; Power over others and money. A pox upon all their houses.
…steps off soapbox…
Well done Texans. Well done.
Justice is not revenge. It’s the enforcement of statutory law for the benefit of society.
Securities Fraud…I thought the slick haired attorney got Paxton out of all those charges?
I believe Mr Paxton will be the hammer of RETRIBUTION that President Trump will unleash in January of 2025.
Always remember the ages old tact of our enemy; “projection” like “revenge & anger”. Accuse others of what you are responsible of, sold by the enemy news actors 24/7.
“What’s good for the goose is good for the gander”
I know it’s childish but I liken it to a debate with a 2-3 year old at the toy store that doesn’t get their way, you spank them, take’em home and put them to bed without dinner.
I can proudly post as a California Refugee in Texas that I voted for all candidates in my precinct that were endorsed by Ken Paxton and Trump as well….
They all won!
GOD. BLESS. TEXAS.
Welcome to freedom in the great State of Texas
And peace. Don’t forget the peace I have since leaving California…
THE most important position should Trump somehow get in is his AG. The AG must be RUTHLESS. He must be unafraid of the CIA and FBI. He must prosecute everyone involved in election interference. Most importantly, he must and I mean must bring in Obama for questioning. Lastly, Fauci has to go to jail.
Divine Justice is Fierce!
