Last year, a biased NYC court room decided what might happened 25 year ago so. As common sense have it: This an inability. Consequently, aim of the game was and is to destroy President Trump. For that reason Reid Hoffman paid Ms. Carrolls lawyers.
Before this trial started U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan granted Ms. Carroll’s request to block the defense from arguing that the jury reached its conclusion because it did not believe her rape claim. With this verdict, this trail only focus was about $$$.

This reporter (and others) missed the point that court’s conclusions of all these analyses were decided against DJT in a trial last year! It’s in the eyes of the beholders if he was profound represented. As always, it is in the eye of the beholder whether this was a show trial or a different defense strategy would have led to an acquittal for President Trump.
Judge Kaplan granted plaintiff’s request BEFORE THIS trial began, to block the defense from arguing that the jury reached its conclusion because it did not believe her rape claim. With this verdict in mind, defense was stripped to argue about Ms Carroll’s merit of the case. One and only focus was about how many $$$.

BTW: In DA James’ civil business fraud lawsuit which runs under a NY law that doesn’t allow for a jury, the key question was ruled by Judge Engoron before the trial even started:
Did President Trump fraudulently inflate his net worth on financial documents to get favorable treatment from lenders?
The answer was: YES. (appellate division considers DJT’s appeal), but this ruling didn’t resolve all of the claims in James’ lawsuit, with the judge saying there are disputed factual issues related to those claims that require a trial.
At the end of this month Judge Engoron will decide about a multimillion $ fine, but most likely appellate processes take years until SCOTUS has final word if these penalties violate DJT federal constitutional rights (with or without taking the case).

You should be able to sue a judge who refuses to allow you to present evidence or defend yourself. Just sayin’….
Somehow I doubt the remedy will be found in yet another crooked “court”.

I have purposefully not paid any attention to this circus. Yesterday, I tried an internet search on ‘Jean Carroll Trump trial’ and it took scrolling about 15 pages before I got to a non-MSM article about the original trial in May 2023.
