Good grief, talk about burning cash…. According to Politico, the three corporate super PACs and the Nikki Haley campaign have spent almost $30 million in New Hampshire on ad buys.
Three super PACs backing Haley — SFA Fund (aka Randal and Barbara Smith, Alden Global Capital), Americans for Prosperity (aka Charles Koch) and Independents Moving the Needle (aka Jonathan Bush, the cousin of former President George W. Bush, billionaire CEO Frank Laukien, and Big Pharma) have spent more than $24 million across TV, radio and digital ads targeting New Hampshire, according to data from AdImpact, an ad tracking platform. Haley’s own campaign has chipped in another $4.7 million.

NOTE: Ron DeSantis has not run any ads in New Hampshire since November, and the DeSantis camp have no additional advertising commitments in any state, including South Carolina. It would appear the DeSantis campaign is low on cash and being very selective about spending prior to announcing their exit.
[…] According to an additional tracking service, AdImpact Politics, the last DeSantis ad to air on television was Monday, the night of the Iowa caucuses, which he lost by 30 points. That is reportedly the longest period his campaign and PACs Never Back Down, Fight Right, and Good Fight have gone without appearing on the airwaves. (MORE)
President Trump is leading Nikki Haley in New Hampshire polling 53% to 36%. Ron DeSantis has 6.6% support. {source}
President Trump played this primary contest brilliantly, with a little assist from divine providence.
President Trump kicked off his campaign in South Carolina and now has the teams of the governor and both senators on his side. The South Carolina electorate is filled with MAGA base supporters, and Trump has essentially funneled DeSantis and Haley into a no-win position.
Knock out Haley in New Hampshire, crush them both in Nevada with an Iowa like outcome, then stomp them in their fallback position, South Carolina.
This primary contest should be over immediately following South Carolina.
“Hello Nicky (icky Nikki), can you get me a cup of coffee please….black?” “Yes Mr. President.”
I wouldn’t even want her to deliver coffee to President Trump. She’d probably spit in it and smile.
Nikki’s sole goal is to survive desanctimonious. She wants to say she finished second so she either can be forced onto the ticket as the VP, be the replacement or be the frontrunner in ’28.
The timing is now suspect for the handing down of the immunity decision. Judge Karen Henderson is probably holding things up by taking her time on writing a special concurring opinion or dissenting opinion. She was hostile as to how the panel expedited the briefing schedule an oral argument concurrent to a Petition for Supreme Court Review.
My guess is the two leftist judges had a rough draft of the opinion on their desktops on January 9 and could have issued the opinion on January 10 with Henderson signing on. She has bought president at least 11 days. Cue Merrick Garland’s speedy trial remarks.
The left will openly start attacking Judge Henderson if an opinion does not come down by Tues. That would be 40 days before the currently set trial on Mar 4 (six weeks).
Many have believed that Chutkin will allow the stay to remain in place throughout rehearing en banc and petition for S.Ct review. Judge Henderson has already eaten up that time. To stop the bleeding she may immediately dissolve the stay sua sponte upon the immunity ruling.
President Trump would then have to get another stay prob bypassing en bank and going directly to
Chutkin has essentially promised to add the time the case has been stayed which is 43 days and counting to the trial date which would be circa April 16 2024 even under her absolute abruptness. That is not enough time from Judge Cannon’s trial date of May 20 which Cannon has purposefuly selected as Chutkin’s ideal time she would need to fall back to. Cannon has purposefully not moved the time to block Chutkin.
Being #2 might matter if Trump is somehow forced off the campaign somehow. Both DeSantis and Haley implicitly have been hanging around for just that reason.
The Democrats have been running a similar strategy by not having a primary. That will make it 10 x easier to nominate someone at the convention (Big Mike anyone or Gov Newsom) if there is no other candidate in the wings. This explains Kennedy’s expulsion from the race. I cannot even name a single vanity candidate. It is like they all were ordered / instructed not to run. Even Bernie did not throw his hat into the ring.
Cornell West, Jill Stein, Marianne Williamson, Dean Phillips…
The eGOP is completely feckless. They have no power to force ANYONE on Trump this time around.
I live in a very rural NH town and I have been getting piles of flyers related to this woman. I refuse to even bring them into the house. I stack them up and tear them into 1-2inch pieces then toss them into the air near my mail box. It looks like confetti. Drives my liberal neighbor crazy. Then I realized they are all red white and blue, so pretty.
The other day, I wondered -how in the world did Nikita get my mailing address. I live in ‘flyover country’ and got a letter asking for my pledge. I wrote NO on it with a Sharpee and was going to mail it back but decided not to waste a postage stamp. I did send multiple letters back to the RNC and they don’t bother me anymore.
I wasted several stamps and semt them all my junk mail collected over the previous month for recycling!
Good move! They may be dusted with neurodust or some other nanotech!
Why would DeSantis go on NBC or CNN? None of the Republican primary voters watch those fake news shows, and both networks hate DeSantis and all conservative Republicans.
Why do all these people, pretending to be Republicans, spend so much money on the primary to defeat Trump, then seemingly have no care over the massive voter fraud? If they truly want someone different than Trump, why spend money on the primary at all. Why not support the Dems and hope their money can buy them some favors from the “I’ll sell my power for money” Democrat party?
It’s just the opposite,
Rs want $. Ds want power.
Lawfare has precluded the need for Donald J. Trump to have any type of campaign advertising budget.
A valid and insightful point — now if all those PSEUDO–conservative sites constantly mentioning “lawfare” would even mention THE 65 PROJECT, the major lawfare assault group, or the Soros—funded American Law Institute?!
Jeb Bucks $$. The new currency of the uniparty.
What a braindead WEFer — doesn’t she know they have AccuVote systems there?!
yawn … at least it’s entertaining is a sad , sick , twisted , degenerate sort of way … embarrass the ‘bimbo’ and send ‘ the illegal’ packing …
personally I think now she is running for the $$ doesn’t she get to keep her campaign funds.if she drops out or not?
I think it is going to be Devin Nunes………..
Political ads mean nothing to me anymore. The only thing that matters is that Trump is not owned by the swamp and the rest are. That’s it. That’s all anybody needs to know. The rest is all back ground noise.
From your lips to God’s ears.
