All other candidates talk about budget cuts and a limited economic pie [scarcity mentality]. President Trump talks about growing the economy to increase the revenue side of the ledger [abundance mentality]. Trump is correct.

I come at this discussion as a person who continually tries to navigate the mechanics of the silo system in Washington DC. Additionally, many of the positions at the top of the silos, what we would consider cabinet members, have various levels of influence from ‘moderate‘ to ‘none at all‘ depending on the construct of the individual agency (silo).
As an outcome, the nuts and bolts of what we want to see happen, let’s call that generally ‘elimination of political corruption’, are slightly disconnected from how it is possible to happen given the nature of how each institutional silo is constructed.
Some silos are more impervious than others. Some cabinet members are more functionary than others, and in some instances, the deputy is more important than the primary.
To get deep in the weeds, we need to understand each silo as a completely autonomous operation; holding various levels of attachment to the overall DC system depending on how the silo is structured and, in some cases, weaponized.
Then we need to evaluate an overall skillset from a very practical, non-pretending level. There is one shot at this, and the construct of the Trump 2.0 administration must begin with the end in mind. That end includes accepting that one four-year term will not be enough to remove the embeds that were seeded over the course of 12 prior years. Some systems need to be taken down to nothing, others can be steered with extreme effort by those who can operate effectively inside the machine.
The reason for a Vice-Presidential selection like Dr Ben Carson has been previously outlined {SEE HERE]. Carson appears to have the faith, stability and integrity to be a stabilizing force amid the sea of chaos that is created when a war against evil enterprise begins.
The value of having a faith servant in the role of close counsellor to President Trump cannot be overstated. If Carson is not the correct person to take the role, Carson would be the first to announce it…. which, ultimately, makes him more qualified.
Good is going to have to battle Evil, and at the same time the entire nation will need stability, optimism and a resurgence of faith. In short, no one is winning this political war without putting God, righteousness and prayer at the forefront as the DC temple tables are turned. When it gets ugly, and it will get extremely ugly, something just inherently tells me, Carson will rise.
Perhaps if I expand the list, a bigger understanding will be possible.
This time I shall endeavor to put context behind the names and add some specifics to the silo challenge.

With the ‘recently discovered’ more than 5 million invalid registered voters embedded within the New York State voter data base, it seems only a matter of time before the massive theft of elections in NY will be ended. The fake ballots make the machine totals look valid, but the machines can still come up with any total they are programmed to. As long as we tolerate the lack of transparency of machines, we can never honestly certify an election because it’s not possible to make the machines secure enough.
Argentina recently managed to hand count all the nation’s ballots on Election Night (as we used to!) and Argentina and Holland both got rid of their election machines just a few months before the election. It can be done, and in fact counties are supposed to already have a plan for hand-counting, as part of disaster preparedness in case of power outage!

The paragraph regarding the mentalities of budget cuts / scarcity vs growing the revenue side – that is a direct comparison of what is wrong with most of corporate America right now.
The financial/accounting ‘bean counters’ have taken much of it over and it is stifled quality, efficiency and value in long term growth and crushed the workers.
The sales, and to lesser extent operations, view is to invest to grow by providing quality and service to gain volume and margin thru premium pricing.
The finance and accounting folks see all outlays as expenses. When in reality, outlays spent effectively are investments that yield greater returns. But they just can’t see or comprehend that.
This dynamic is endemic now.
As far as the picks, I’m not sold on a lot of them, but I don’t really have better choices to counter with exception to a few.
Good accountants do not believe anything you stated.
I’m sure they’re are good accountants, but your defense does not hold merit and essentially claims that there is no merit to my claims in any instance, when in fact the evidence is abundant and many see it.
It is more of those who work on the financial side where money, money, money is everything and most that I have encountered have no experience whatsoever with the actual production and sales effort side that drives a business.
All of the product in the world will not sell without those who know how to move it, where to move it and what entices the customer to keep coming back.
And that’s the bottom line.

The accountant is, in fact, the “doctor for business” where that job is to keep the patient (company) as profitable as possible and to “limit” the taxable exposures as best as possible within the laws available.
ChicagoBri is also 100% correct as to how important an accountant is and has been to any successful business due to keeping it alive via constant “financial exams” within the ledger.
The problem that Black Night properly identifies is when the “accountant” becomes the big boss, the leader, the CEO, the Chairman of the Board–where this person does not know/learn how or is unable to “wear” the many other hats such a leader must master and excel as best as possible.
The funny part is when you take Black Night’s proper choice of a “sales” person and put that indiviaual in the top spot, again the control of those many hats demanding to be worn (marketing, engineering, production, R&D…etc.) must still be present or trouble will ensue.
Bottom line: A great leader will also have been a great follower, but not every great follower can become a great leader, no matter if that person comes from sales or accounting . (PS: I presently leave alone the issue of ethics in business)
Truth. I’m one of them. That which he listed are bad accountants. Or tv show versions of accountants. The board made me the head of the operations committee and I’m a CPA. It’s because I understand the numbers yet I know how to apply real operations decisions into action precisely.

What it all truly boils down to is the individual. I had to fight with the founder of the company because he kept telling me I was a bean counter that couldn’t see past the numbers. And then I dropped a detailed report in front of him that didn’t reference numbers except to show the results of the controls I put in place around lazy operational structures that ended up increasing revenues by 26%.

I told a CEO (former bean-counter) that bean counters should be kept in a dark basement, wearing a visor toiling under a bare 60W incandescent lightbulb. I told him that because of the very things you describe them doing…crushing everything to improve the bottom line, and in the long run crushing the entity they rule.

This casting of bean-counters as incapable of wearing multiple hats is as silly as casting sales people as incapable of doing math.
An accountant is just as capable of being an incompetent leader as a salesman or engineer. I knew an engineer who was clueless of what goes into accounting- could not seem to wrap his head around the difference between revenue and income. And I’ve known salesmen who have no clue what costs are incurred to put out the product. A leader needs to understand how the pieces fit together.
CEO’s need to be able to count beans for starters. If you look at DC, it’s run by salesmen and engineers(bureaucrats). What’s missing is the virtuous character that the company was designed for.
The plans were tinkered and toyed with along the way, the product corrupted, disfigured, mutated and mutilated and now on the verge of imploding. What did anyone working for the leviathan ever build? They’ve dug a very, very deep hole up on that hill.
They are not incapable. They have no experience in the core business product or service compared to sales, engineers or ops people. It is not possible.
Engineers sometime do have problems understanding revenue vs gross profit and EBITA.
Sales/marketing and operations to a lesser degeee have to know about it.
No good or experienced sales person cannot know about the costs associated with a product or service because they would not know how much margin to charge to make become and stay profitable.
Additionally, good and experienced sales personnel have to understand forecasting, budgeting, profit and loss statements and their significance to be successful, which is directly related to accounting functions.
Prior to the 90s, 80-90% of CEOs came out of sales and marketing when companies HAD to grow organically.
Once we sold out our core business production capacity vis a vis NAFTA, etc and everything became ‘subbed’ out and it was a matter of only the “bottom line,” the senior ranks starting becoming filled with F/A folks because all that was needed or believed was that just making money by any “legal” means was all that was required.
Is it any wonder why that shift in the higher echelons went that way?
And all we have now for the most part is outsourcing and mergers and acquisitions, etc and quality and service in everything sucks now. And employee morale, loyalty & well being has been declining for years because of it.
Historically a company grows from an idea to development of a product to sales, financial management becomes necessary at some point in that process. Yes, going from accounting straight to president is ass-backwards, there needs to be something to account for first.
Employees are not beans to be counted. But what has fueled the outsourcing is primarily tax policy. The income tax is the ruin of our nation. How many man hours are spent on tax compliance and avoidance?
The idea that free trade enables a rising tide that lifts all boats is not true. We have fed the communist beast to our detriment. We need to get back to tariffs, shrink the size of government, and encourage a mindset of learning and learning wed to morality. President Washington stated education was inseparable from religion-but that is what we’ve done. And people wonder why bean-counters fail to understand the consequences of their decisions. What does it gain a man to save his life and lose his soul?

I agree with most of those, but not Mark Robinson. There are accusations that he doesn’t appear at important meetings, cancels appearances, and is owned by the RINO leadership in the legislature as well as his donors. He is also running a business that relies heavily on government welfare programs and that has been accused of some impropriety with PPP loans during Covid.

I was living in Florida when Jeb was governor. Sundance is correct in the fact that Jeb was good at crisis management — the FL governor must be because of all of the hurricanes. I, however, agree with you in that I wouldn’t trust a Bush anywhere near our President Donald J. Trump.

On the headline (re: VP ‘choice’ already made).
Binary situation with only two possible choices.
One, PDJT has already consulted with the RNC, and they have approved his “choice”.
Two, WITHOUT consultation with the RNC, PDJT has decided who his VP choice is, and RNC input be damned.
Technically, “legally” the RNC retains “veto authority” on ANY Candidate for office being listed on any ballot, with (R) after their name.
PDJT is displaying quite a bit of confidence, assuming its Two.
IF this is true, and I’m not doubting your knowledge on the subject, this would be a disappointing development.
Its right there in the Parties by-laws, that no Candidate can run AS a Republican, without the parties endorsement.
NO Candidate definetly includes a Candidate for VP.
It has ever been thus, but the parties along with their MSM cohorts have always encouraged the false narrative that the CANDIDATE picks, and they even leak stories about how “Javanca” or Melania encouraged DJT to “pick” Pence.
However, I conclude PDJT KNOWS he can NOT let the RNC dictate his VP, as that would be the opposite of an “Insurance policy” it would guarantee they would try to remove him from office “by any means neccesary”.
The way around this dillema is obvious: just announce HIS pick, and force them to publicly rebuke his choice (which they won’t) or just grin and bear it.
Its all about perceptions, and if you don’t want to hear “no”, don’t ask.

President Trump’s Vice-President ought to be someone who can take the reins in 2029. Dr Ben Carson is a wonderful man, but I don’t think he is a hands-on manager like President Trump, and that’s what we will need. He is also not a young man.
So I think you need to think harder about the potential VP candidate. For one thing, think outside the box of political, public figures. Remember, “The business of America is business” (attributed to Calvin Coolidge, echoed by former GM CEO and Eisenhower Secretary of Defense Charlie Wilson). How about another businessman? But of course an America-First businessman!

A few of SD’s choices are surprising like Jeb and RFK Jr. but that would be the case for all of us if we listed all of our choices. But sundance’s are all thoughtful and informed choices. It will be fascinating to see who PDJT chooses.

Team Trump was ready for the fraud to occur. It is too late for the perpetrators. I want to know a definite answer on who made that call to stop the counting, to start the fraud vote entries no matter the medium that was used. Who ordered the stop count!

An election fraud coodinator was assigned to each counting center with independent local authority to inject tens of thousands additional fraudlent ballots as needed to produce a Biden victory if his total was falling short inside that particular counting center.
No one had to give an explicit order at 11 PM from a central fraud operations command post. A contingency plan was already in place in each counting center in case more fraudulent ballots were needed on election day. The local fraud operations coordinator and the fraud operations staff in that counting center were already trained and ready to inject more ballots after 11 PM if the need arose. That’s what they did.
Thousands of people were involved in stealing the 2020 election for Biden. And yet none of these people have been investigated and prosecuted for what were plainly state and federal election fraud crimes.
