The claim by Newsweek is rather alarming – that the Dept of Homeland Security and FBI consider President Trump supporters as domestic violent extremists (DVE’s) in combination with official designation from the FBI as “domestic terrorists.”
There’s nothing within the article, the citations or the quotes from multiple anonymous officials within the domestic surveillance system, that will seem a surprise if you take away the hyperbolic use of adjectives and descriptive statements. Yes, to the Newsweek readers, anyone who would challenge their worldview or political position is dangerous; after all, these are the same people who equate words with violence.
Remember, DHS Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas recently announced a quasi-government panel that would be the arbiters of definitions. In essence, the braintrust who will define activity to be compatible with the rules and restrictions on speech. Officially the group is called the “Homeland Intelligence Experts Group“; unofficially Mayorkas has selected the domestic speech police. Fear much? 😂
Does it worry me to be labeled as a domestic terrorist because I distrust government and support President Trump? No, not one bit. Label me with whatever description you need in order to quantify your fear; it matters not.

In Romania when the citizens were fed up with Ceausescu the military took the side of the citizens.
The military did at first cause some problems for those revolting but they eventually ( and almost overnight) the military switched sides and was no longer loyal to the government.
They then began to work with those revolting and Ceausescu ended up running for his life.
He was brought back forcably by his own military, then after a short trial executed.
Some what the same thing happened in Paris during the French Revolution.
When the peasants stormed the Bastille ( where the Kings soldiers weapons were stored) to obtain weapons, the Kings own soldiers startedhanding them out to the peasants.
So I am like you dutchman, take the military seriously but do not fear them and do not allow the thought of them to make us cower in fear.
The way I see it, this is why they have armed all the government agencies to the hilt – IRS, EPA, SSA, all of the 3-letter agencies – so that they can handle complaints about elections (or school board meetings, or whatever….you get my point).

In our little rural town, that is growing by leaps and bounds due to the exiles from blue states, we work and work and work all day long farming, transporting, and helping one another. On Sunday mornings all is quiet as just about everyone is in church. Sunday afternoons you can hear the shooting ranges explode with “target practice”. Then, all is quiet again for evening worship services.
I’d venture to guess that 200 million Americans are Christian and hold to family values. The official numbers of Christians are inaccurate because many have left the “organized” churches, as they too have become corrupt. People meet in groups in homes and in little country churches.
