My dearest friends, as much as I do not want to accept certain things, this one is critical to accept. Jim Jordan has shown over time that he is simply a purposefully placed “anger manager” on behalf of the Professionally Republican wing of the administrative state.
Perhaps we lost him before the 2020 election, when the “six ways to Sunday” group fired a shot across his bow with the issues about “widespread sexual abuse in OSU’s wrestling program.” The timing seems to fit with the overall dynamic and how the intelligence apparatus operates. Regardless of whether that was the inflection point, the extreme visibility & promotion of the claims, in combination with the sudden disappearance of them, was the impetus –or if it was something similarly timed– something consequential changed in the political orbit of Jim Jordan.
For the past several years, as more intensity has swirled around us, Representative Jim Jordan has appeared as more of a useful “anger manager,” better positioned to satiate the masses than actually deliver any accountability results. The media appearances seemed to align with that intent, and then a very big datapoint surfaced that few -other than myself- seemed to be concerned about.
When the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Government was formed, it was constructed in the lane of the House Judiciary Committee. Meaning, the House Judiciary Committee would be the presumptive authority committee under which the select subcommittee would form. For most casual observers, this seemed to be just a parliamentary decision; however, for me it also held concern.
Those concerns were then realized when it was announced that Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan would also sit as the Chairman of the Select Subcommittee. If you are cynical and/or knowledgeable as to how the Deep State operates, this approach positioned Jordan as a backstop against the issuance of subpoenas that would be against the interests of the Professionally Republican leadership. Trying to protect the flickering flame of hope, I held my powder and watched.
What followed was the worst-case scenario that I previously outlined {Go Deep}. It is no longer a question of whether the Select Subcommittee was constructed in an effort to dissuade, dilute and deflect the outrage by the American people who were witnessing the weaponization of government. That’s exactly what the subcommittee result was as a result of Jim Jordan’s leadership.
I told several people at the time, after watching about 5 months of the subcommittee work, “It’s over.” Meaning there never was a genuine, actionable effort on behalf of the new Republican majority to confront the weaponization of government. It was all another farce – another railcar in a “long train of Republican abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object,” gaslighting and kicking the proverbial can.
As much as I did not want to accept it, we were once again victims.
Kevin McCarthy’s Lucy has unlimited footballs.
Jim Jordan is the carefully positioned guardian of Kevin McCarthy. Jordan was the general selected to hang out with the troops and play the role of steering leader; one foot in the trenches and the other foot in the mahogany meeting room. If he did his job well, he would control the glances by the regulars toward the indulgences of leadership.
Jim Jordan did his job very well.
Jordan is corrupt; perhaps that’s too strong a word; perhaps compromised is a better way to put it. Not corrupt/compromised in a way of directly lying, cheating or stealing, but rather corrupt in the same familiar manner that generates all of the frustration we feel. Corrupt in the sense of satiating the masses while being disingenuous in the extreme of creating ZERO accountability.
Speaker Kevin McCarthy used Jim Jordan for exactly this institutional preservation purpose, and Jordan knows it…. and willingly goes along with it…. and willingly plays the role of “anger manager” on behalf of his leadership. That’s the part that has become more obvious and needs to be accepted.
Once you understand this, the next part makes total sense.
WASHINGTON — Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, on Wednesday became the first lawmaker to announce a bid for speaker of the House, one day after Kevin McCarthy was ousted from the top job in a historic vote.
Asked by reporters in the Capitol if he was running, Jordan replied unequivocally: “Yes.”
“We need to unite the conference,” said Jordan, who had just met with Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., a likely rival for speaker, to inform him of his decision.
Later Wednesday, Jordan sent a letter to colleagues touting his work on immigration and oversight issues on the Judiciary panel and asking for their support.
“Now is the time for our Republican conference to come together to keep our promises to Americans. The problems we face are challenging, but they are not insurmountable. We can focus on the changes that improve the country and unite us in offering real solutions,” Jordan wrote. “But no matter what we do, we must do it together as a conference. I respectfully ask for your support for Speaker of the House of Representatives.”
Jordan said he made his decision after many of his GOP colleagues reached out, urging him to run. A source familiar with Jordan’s thinking said the congressman has repeatedly said that choosing the next speaker “will be a decision for the conference” and now the conference is asking. (read more)

Can someone explain the “hideaway” office thing? Why did the temp SOH kick Pelosi and Hoyer out of theirs?
where they keep the trowels and scotch
Retribution for ousting McCarthy. The two Democrat Leaders
havehad bonus offices in addition to their regular smaller offices in a different building. It was a “courtesy.”Yes, McCarthy let them keep their old LEADERSHIP offices as a “courtesy!”
Have you gotten up off the floor yet???
What I don’t understand is, how is it that the choice of the Speaker being ousted is viable – if you oust someone as Speaker, why would you have their designated successor (or one of a list of designated successors) such as Patrick McKenry, step into the Speaker position?
Those are the kind of questions that become rhetorical once one has “seen behind the curtain”.
It’s the age-old scheme of what is now called “CoG” (continuity of government) which is how a regime makes sure that their agenda and policies and enemies continue to be executed even after they themselves are…
Or maybe it was merely bad blood between the two. He wasted zero time in giving her the boot. Seemed personal.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/10/04/kevin-mccarthy-speaker-vote-press-conference/
Without the constraints of the speakership, McCarthy declared something he would not when serving as speaker: that the House as an institution is broken. He blamed Democrats for it — though Democrats pointed to his own politicized behavior as the reason they did not save him Tuesday — detailing for the first time that he had asked then-Speaker Pelosi for advice on whether he should change the House rules to allow one person to trigger a motion to vacate him from the speakership. He claimed Pelosi told him she’d back him up if his conference tried to oust him. Pelosi was not at the Capitol on Tuesday, and her office did not confirm whether McCarthy’s story was accurate.
McCarthy trusted Pelosi Galore to save him?
OMG!
Was that the expectation (Pelosi would save him) that engendered the gall of the statement “bring it on”?
Like trusting a venomous snake not to bite you. Just goes to show what a bunch of fools these Republican “leaders” are.
They did not deliver any last minute votes to save his boy. I surmise they may have promised, for a price, most likely paid in advance with budget concessions but did not deliver a single vote. So he is out for a pound or two of dim flesh.

“DC Rumor Scoop:
Were you surprised to hear Kevin McCarthy let Pelosi and Hoyer keep their exclusive hideaway offices?
Well I’m hearing it was b/c he bad a secret deal with Pelosi where she guaranteed enough Democrat votes for KM if a Motion to Vacate ever came up
Pelosi backstabbed him and didn’t give KM the votes, so McHenry retaliated by forcing Pelosi and Hoyer out of those offices
This is what happens when you make deals with the devils”
So that’s who Little Bowtie was so angry at when he bashed that mallet as hard as his little hand and arm could bash it… That dastardly double-crossing Pelosi!
By the way, wtf is with all these Micks – what is this, some kind of Irish mafia clan, ffs – remember the McBidens and McRyans are part of it, too…
[Nothing against honest Irish or anyone else, just to be clear]
A few months ago, Jordan did 2 interviews over 2 weeks on the WRKO (Boston, MA) morning show.
The show host desperately tried getting Jordan to explain the lack of movement on an impeachment- any impeachment (the potted plant, Wray, Mayorkis).
Jordan did the Republican shuffle: “we’re going to follow the Constitution”, there needs to be “high crimes and misdemeanors”, and “my colleagues across the aisle”….
Always wanted to like him, but just can’t. I guess I’m just waiting for him to write a ‘strongly-worded letter’.
I don’t trust him on many examples . I just think he’s Kevin McCarthy lite
I heard the same interviews on the Kuhner Report. I came away with the same notion. When pressed by Jeff , his reply was he needed the consent of the majority of the Republican conference to be more aggressive. But he wouldn’t reveal the names of the RINOS , who were allegedly holding him back .
In a comment I just posted, I compared him to Trey Gowdy. I believe that comparison (unfortunately) fits:
I have often referred to these useless and pathetic posers as the “Cowbell Percussion Section”.
“More cowbell!”
Chaffetz, Gowdy, Issa and others have all been gleefully, dutifully and soooo dramatically and animatedly banging away on their cowbells and purposefully getting absolutely NOWHERE!
My thoughts exactly, Trey Gowdy with a little more expressed anger but in the end the same result: Nada
Never bought his BS, arm
Sleeve roll up , after , maybe 2 weeks
You were correct the first time , Sundance.
JIM JORDAN IS CORRUPT……as are most of our so called Representatives.
Hang’em high!
This needs to be on Twitter/X and spread far and wide
This might fit in with this topic, simply because anger is my reaction to the potential of Congressman Jordan being into the Speakership role; and change – nobody likes change, seems to be the fall back position of these politicians. Remove a McCarthy who was supposed to be better than Pelosi and replace him with a Jordan, same tune, different singer so the swamp doesn’t have to actually change.
This interview is with author Brad Stulberg on his new book about how to Not become victim during times of change, where anger might be our initial response, instead find tools to work the change, kind of like what President Trump is doing, not being stuck inside the vortex of lawsuit after lawsuit, he’s somehow developed tools to stay in front of the anger giving him greater control over any outcome –
at least, that’s what came to me while watching this interview; 52 minutes. Jim Jordan is just another politician singing the same swamp song that McCarthy, Pelosi, Ryan, and the drunk before him were singing. Matt Gaetz pulled off a stunner, now we have to tell our elected representatives we want a different song to be sung, ideally the song of angry men.
I used to think he was great and MAGA, but his support for Kevin was very telling. Unfortunately neither he nor Scalese present anything different from Kevin.
You don’t think Scalese is genuine either?
Imo, Scalisle is worse than Jordan. Way worse.
Scalese has some serious health issues.
Imo, Trump needs to come in and ride hurd on this bunch. He is a busy man, but if anyone can do it, he can.
Studio 6B suggested Lee Zeldin. An interesting thought.
We certainly should consider pushing for someone NOT in Congress, where they are certain to be corrupted or well into being compromised.
It would also help drum into their heads that they agree there at the citizen’s behalf . . . to represent not rule.
great solution!!
this is an excellent and actionable plan.
how would you suggest getting it viral?
Dunno.
Folks simply need to understand that the position does not require an elected representative to fill it, and that we would be much better served to have non-self-serving people wielding that gavel.
Lee Zeldin would probably be a very good choice for Speaker.
Also, having somebody not currently serving in congress as Speaker would give Republicans two more committee seats. Kevin would be assigned as any other congressman and the new Speaker from outside would not have to leave committee seats.
-Regardless of
who
become the Speaker!
– ✝️❤️🇺🇸
Sort of like the way Obama never really left D.C. until just recently. these Dems are really good at running their covert schemes regardless of electoral outcomes. If the Republicans actually cared they could learn a thing or two.
They get the cubbie when they are ex-speaker. McCarthy is now the ex-speaker.

Maybe, big maybe, if it is with a child
“Nobody cares about affairs anymore”, except dems if it’s involving a dem candidate hetero married couple playing perverted video games together for fun and a few dollars…
Prayers for the 8 and DJT. These are very dangerous times. Did anyone see the Tim Berchette interview with Jake Tapper? We need more like him. Humble God fearing people who do what is right regardless of the cost. I had my reservations about Newt back in 2016 and sure enough the mask came down this week. Pray God directs our steps and we keep our eyes on Him not the giants in the land.
some of those in the 8 hate us.
Speak for yourself.
Chip
“some in the 8 hate us”
Kudos.
A 7 word rhyme that includes mind reading, fear bait AND pronoun puffery.
Just what I was thinking. There are a few Nevertrumpers in that bunch.
Anyone remember Newt’s “Contract with America”? How did that work out?
IIRC, they passed and were signed into law 6 out of the 10 promises they made.
Thanks for that information. Frankly, I had forgotten that they made any progress.
My point is that Newt appears to have done nothing useful since then, unless you count him enriching himself.
I used to like (and admire Newt), in spite of rumors that in his personal life was /is a real pr**k.
That (unlike Lou Dobbs and Tucker) he’s remained on the Fox payroll – alongside Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy – speaks volumes.
What about Ivan Raiklin? Now that would be sport.
Perhaps we lost him before the 2020 election, when the “six ways to Sunday” group fired a shot across his bow with the issues about “widespread sexual abuse in OSU’s wrestling program.”
Exactly when I noticed a change in JORdan! And low and behold they’ve been trying this with Gaetz and this trick is starting to heat up as now the PTB are pushing for expulsion because of ‘ethics’!
Problem with dc is anyone who may have some ethics and morals, wanting to better their constituents and Americans, are targeted to get in line with the uni-party apparatus or they’ve got targets on them until they finally give in!
He has a liberty score 0f 94% so that’s a great improvement. Don’t let perfect get in the way of the good.

Jordan is a “good fellow?”
“when it is found that a man cannot be enticed along a line of dissipation, he is approached in a different way. He is told that there is a great future for a man of his ability and acquirements, and that he can wield a powerful influence and earn large fees if he will be but tactful and not make himself obnoxious to the ruling faction of the legislature. He is promised the chairmanship of committees, is assured of future political promotion, is offered an interest in various schemes, and all that is asked in return is that he be “a good fellow.” Too often the young man yields. He accepts the flattery as being simply the appreciation due to a superior man. He becomes inflated with a sense of his own importance. He grabs at the promised promotion, and is seized with a hunger for money; and then he is lost. He may last longer than the man who indulges in physical dissipation, but the moral dissipation is the same in both cases. Self-respect, noble aspirations, honor and manhood die, and only the wreck of a blighted life remains.”
Where is this quote from please?
Peter Altgeld. The entire quote is below. He wrote a little book a few years before he died entitled “The Cost of Something for Nothing”. It is a chapter in that small book.
It was published in 1904 and written by John Peter Altgeld, who was a Progressive Democrat Governor of Illinois from 1893 to 1897. His Progressiveness notwithstanding, or perhaps due to his experiences, Altgeld makes interesting observations.
Titled: “A Good Fellow”
“When a young man of respectable parentage, fair education, good character, and honorable ambition, comes to the legislature of his State to represent a constituency, and begins a public career which he hopes will make him famous and bring glory to his family, he is at once sought by the lobbyists and the other older members who are schooled in corruption, and made to understand that if he would succeed in politics he must be a “good fellow.” On all sides he is flattered, directly and indirectly, and in most cases he yields to these seductive blandishments of his newly-found friends, and they take him under their protection and proceed to have a good time. He is invited to little dinners, to play cards, and to various other diversions; wine is free and cigars are plentiful. When he loses at the gaming-table he is given a loan of fifty dollars, and another, and another, until he is deeply in debt; but he is told not to worry about that. There are easy ways of making money with which to recoup himself. Fromm that moment the young man is doomed. He is in the power of the corruptionists, and must vote as they direct. In a short time he is a full-fledged boodler, hungry for money and ready for any iniquity.
In other cases, when it is found that a man cannot be enticed along a line of dissipation, he is approached in a different way. Self-respect, noble aspirations, honor and manhood die, and only the wreck of a blighted life remains.
These two examples illustrate conditions that are only too common in American politics.
We all like the pleasant and agreeable good fellow, but the “good fellow” in politics is a different specimen of humanity.”
Thank you very much for you on-point information, this is important for everyone to know, God bless you and yours!
Why not give Patrick McHenry a chance to prove himself as speaker? Sometimes one’s ending up in a position by accident can be a good thing, and there is a providential suggestion to it. Yes, he grew up in the Bush organization, but a person has to start somewhere. I think the Speaker should be reasonably impartial, respecting the rights of the majority while protecting the rights of the minority. If McHenry knows and loves Robert’s Rules of Order, then he could be a very good speaker and restore functional integrity to the House.
Part of his district is Asheville, NC and that is SF lite. No thank you.
He’s too mad to be coherent in thought.
His angry petulant swinging of the gavel showed that he is oblivious to the feelings of dissatisfaction and frustration Republican voters are experiencing towards McCarthy and Republican members of Congress.
Give the man a single bullet of opportunity.
We (the people) will NOT fund the Ukraine money laudering movement any further.
All those monies previously “earmarked” for it are to go to building the wall on our border.
Yes or no. Vote.
This will shine the light on the bad asses who must be primaried out.
Make them vote on it. And then lets scream their names.
There is a great deal hidden in the entire “funding of Ukraine”.It starts and ends with kickback cash to politicians and their big money supporters. In fact everything about forcing Putin into Ukraine was about money and corruption
The gravy train is in serious jeopardy.
Again ORG you are right over the target as usual.
No, because he lied, promises made
Promises not kept
Not a single cent should have gone/ be going to Ukraine.
Its outrageous that many of us can barely afford food, electricity and fuel, yet billions are sent to a corrupt oligarchy. To fund the mutual murder between two essentially fraternal groups. A regional war of no strategic importance to us.
It isn’t just about Ukraine and mostly is not even about Ukraine.
It is over spending and spending and spending money in an unwieldy budget process that doesn’t hold government accountable for any spending. The budget written by lobbyists for the benefit of the members of Congress.
It is over the open border and nothing being done.
It is over the lack of anything actually DONE about Biden’s corruption, Hunter’s corruption, the Biden family corruption.
It is over the lack of anything DONE about the weaponization of the DOJ against conservatives and now the FBI feel empowered to announce that they will go after MAGA.
No J6 tapes released WITH facial recognition software so we know who all the actors are.
2nd motion….
We will fund/authorize an independent audit to discover where the millions of dollar $ previously authorized went.
An audit would shine a sparkling light on the corrupto-crats …all of whom we must expel from the Congress.
Single topic spending bills can be fun !
We have to accept that the institutions of government have collapsed. The law is merely whatever the government says it is today, and it only applies to its enemies.
There is no acceptable Speaker, and anyone who would actually fight for our agenda would be undermined and slow rolled by the caucus. Just like they do to us.
The answer is to accept that we are now a dissident movement. That means guerrilla tactics. Gaetz’s motion to vacate is a guerrilla tactic. (and a good one) wiping out key Republicans with certified MAGA candidates is another. Jim Jordan should be a target for removal not someone we can persuade to help.
Guerrilla tactics need to include wide swaths of voters refusing to vote – at all – and economic sanctions as well.
No Speaker other than one who will proudly stand up and say, “I’m now a MAGA-Republican” (with the full intention of dropping the “Republican” once we get enough MAGAs elected) will do.
i recommed tailoring it to voting harder to make the steal more obvious.
TBH, my preferred strategy is 100,000,000 voters sitting out all elections if Trump isn’t on the ballot. Completely wipe out the GOP at every level of government.
You cannot fix a corrupt system by participating it it. You have to withdraw your consent. See also: Matt Gaetz.
By playing the vote harder game, we are legitimizing the current regime. 100,000,000 sitting it out tells the world that the US government no longer has popular support because it is not a legitimate form of government.
I have thought this myself. Let the donors carry the bag.
Break the GOP and you break the status quo and you break the back of the Government Party’s business model.
that cause a factor of a stand off locally after the steal until resignation or fraud arrest needs to be added.
👍🇺🇸 ✅🌝
And work on voter integrity in your precinct. See precinctstrategy.com.
Another good summation
Agree with what you say Hokkoda except for “not voting.” With plurality voting, we render ourselves irrelevant (to them) if we don’t vote. [Recognizing that with UniParty supported election fraud voting and not voting may both be irrelevant to them.]
May I suggest in the alternative “guerrilla voting.” Such as (in no particular order):
a) Voting ONLY for MAGA candidates, and no longer allowing ourselves to be corralled in the UniParty box-canyon of “voting for the lesser of two evils.”
b) Selectively voting for the Democrat opponent of the GOP Establishment leaders, to take out the head(s) of the snake. For example, Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, Lisa Murkowski. At this point, a freshman Democrat will cause us less damage than the seniority-empowered back-stabbers. If enough MAGA voters cause even a few GOPe leaders to lose their seats, we gain leverage over all “R’s” that remain, and who run in the future.
c) If voting for the “D” is too much to stomach (I understand), but there’s no MAGA candidate (or the one that ran in the primary “lost” due to UniParty fraud in the primary), our alternative is to write-in either the MAGA candidate who “lost” the primary. Or write-in the name “Donald J. Trump.” Either way, we’ve not rendered ourselves totally irrelevant by not voting, but if the turncoat or marginal R loses by a margin less than the write-ins, we’ve sent a message to the GOP that they can’t win without us.
Tom Wigand (“American Discerner” on Substack)
Those are all good ideas, and they can work, but might be too hard for people to accept. I would rather eat vomit on the sidewalk than vote for a Democrat, and I’m sure I’m not alone.
To vote MAGA means SOMEONE is going to have to found the new party and we’re gonna have to convince a lot of our friends to pry themselves away from Fox and stop getting suckered by the GOP.
The natural centers of gravity for a new MAGA party are Wyoming, several Southern states, and the northern tier states Dakotas, Montana, Idaho. That’s potentially 8-10 Senators and dozens of Reps. Enough to swing the balance of power in the House and Senate.
And that new party is going to need a set of inviolable principles about what it means to be MAGA.
But until we can affirm that our voting systems are secure, the best option is to sit elections out. That doesn’t make us irrelevant.
Quoting Neil Peart: 🎶“If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.”🎶
We have to withdraw our consent.
Move money away from the multinational companys and wokesters .Stymy access to your information .If this was done on a grand scale our leverage for results would follow.
I believe the inflection point may have been when his nephew was murdered. Supposedly the teen drove his car into a ditch by the side of a road accidentally and died in the accident. I cannot prove it, but I suspect that someone took control of his car remotely, accelerated it an drove it into the ditch. This was likely done to control Jim Jordan. I noticed a change in his demeanor at the time.
https://www.wcbe.org/news/2018-07-08/nephew-of-ohio-congressman-killed-in-traffic-accident
What’s keeping these people from resigning when something like this happens? Threats of worse? Their ego? A chance for revenge?
That’s some kind of leverage.
Sleepers everywhere
McCaul for Speaker
what else is better for a shitter than a turd ?
Yep, that database that the left keeps talking about has sure paid dividend for the socialists. Nothing is as powerful as leverage or what some might call, getting dirt on people.
I too saw the nothingness of Jordan, all talk (and not particularly tough) and no action. IMO it appeared after the accusations against him from college days, where he seemed to hunker down. Even if innocent or even if it was just because he knew where the bodies were buried, he decided not to endure what was planned for him. I remember being disappointed but unsure about whether I was correct that he seemed changed and not accomplishing anything.
I see my suspicions something was not quite right were correct but I never would have withdrawn my support without detailed corroboration, which Sundance has supplied.
They also murdered his nephew.
I appreciated Bannons take today.
It is becoming very unlikely that we will ever be able to pay one penny on the principle part of the debt.
We are saddled with mountains of interest.
Interest that is more expensive now that they (House) has passed the Dems spending via the Debt ceiling backstabbing deal. Two trillion excess spending this year.
We gave the Pubs the House in order to cut off the spending and fight the deep state.
And what did they do for us. NOTHING. Jordan, Scalise, etc. are all against us.
And we are getting blamed for stopping some form of border security that should have been dealt with two years ago.
They all make me sick.
They are corrupt and only serve the globalists and themselves. They’re mad now because McCarthy was so good at that (and fundraising).
We still have the possibility of President Trump being able to lead us out of debt with a growing and then robust economy built on energy independence.
We must re-election President Trump and support him as he works to turn things around.
A Hamiltonian restructuring of the debt could rescue us and also what little remains of the free world.
If we get a MAGA govt back in, and unleash the full potential and power of this USA, we could completely erase the debt with in 2 or 3 years.
This would include requiring able body welfare people to get of their butts, work or do not get stamps.
It would also require jailing the corrupto crat financiers (the crypto currency dude Friedman etc) …
it would also require a return to equal LAW.
I hope General Flynn gets a powerful spot in the new Admin. And Guiliani as well.
And then first order of business is to fix the voter fraud game.
The guy I like is the Head of the Conservative Republican Study Committee, Kevin Hern from Oklahoma! He voted against the Debt Ceiling and also against the CR and has been critical of McCarthy in the past! He comes from a solid Red MAGA District and a solid Red MAGA State and supports Trump and even joined the lawsuit with 20 plus State AGs led by Paxton of Texas to challenge the 2020 Election that the Courts ruled had no standing in 2021! 🤔
We aren’t their yet, but…
Boehner -> Ryan -> McCarthy-> Jordan or Scalise??? would seem like movement in the right direction nonetheless.
Perhaps a bit closer to a tipping point.
In other words, the Trey Gowdy model is still in effect.
Good soundbites for the base. Only cursory efforts (doing absolutely nothing is too obvious). No results.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Jim Jordan someday also scores a gig at Fox, like Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy.
Tom Wigand (“American Discerner” on Substack)
Wasn’t he asked to run for speaker last time and he declined because he wanted the committee position? Iirc he was pretty determined….
You are correct.
Yes. He didnt want the job. He wanted to be head of Judiciary. He is a squish, just like all the other squishes.
I kinda like Bob Good but need to do some research
Okay; who does Matt Gaetz support for Speaker?
Steve Scalise and Jim Jordan
He need not share his views yet. Think tactically here….
I’m originally from Ohio and have always hoped Jordan would fulfill his promise. Something else cam up when he was compromised….his nephew was killed in a suspicious car wreck. As I remember, he ran off the road, no witnesses…you get the picture.
If it was meant as a threat, Jordan should have left political life.
Exactly. Why would one stay knowing his nephew paid with his life just to put him in his place? Maybe Jordan is just sorry in character like the rest. He had a price and they met it. Reminds me of DeSantis. He took the money and now has to stay quiet.
Similar thing happened to Kim and Georgia. And he stayed in politics they love the power
Kemp not Kim
This has been his schtick for years; what ever setting he is in, he talks in a staccato fashion, reeling off snippets after snippets of talking points, expressing the anger that everyone is feeling (makes people believe he’s a true surrogate of ours) and then……..the big nothing. Pretty much sums it up.
I was disappointed in Representative Comer’s presentation of the Joe Biden corruption case last week. It was so dry, a little too abstract and boring in presentation. Are there any Republican congressmen (or women) who are from a public relations or marketing position before political office? The presentation should be short videos backed up by very simple and colorful graphics depicting Biden’s corrupt actions since 2015. I like Jim Jordan but I must agree that he is all hat and no cattle (as they say here in Texas). No subpeanas in eight months? Come on Man! Maybe, Mr. Buzbee could provide the next impeachment inquiry presentation.
Jim Jordan is Trey Gowdy in a skirt.
i still think that jordan is the best of a not exceptional group of candidates(byron donald notwithstanding)….i think he
s much better than mccarthy(he never was one of the "young guns")..look...were not getting a maga champion as speaker…that
s unrealistic...but jordan isnt a terrible compromise……if we
re going to have any chance in november of 2024,fences are gonna have to be mended....i think jordans a significant improvement over mccarthy(admiittedly not a terribly high bar…but i`ll take it)…..
What in the world is Matt Gaetz thinking???
ok, here is the correct interpretation of events…
1) Gaetz didn’t expect to win. All he wanted was to rattle some cages.,
2) Gaetz endorsed Jordan because he got butt-hurt because everyone hates him. He wanted to throw his haters a bone.,
3) Gaetz wants to be the governor of Florida next. He needs some bona fides for the race so he vacated the Speaker. He is planning his exit strategy. Gaetz is fake.
You can’t be serious. A better analysis is McCarthy sucked at his job, end of story.
RNC Threatens To Ban Ramaswamy, Christie From Next GOP Debate For ‘Unsanctioned Dialogue’
GOP presidential candidates have to sign a pledge agreeing not to participate in any debates that are not sanctioned by the RNC.

I am in complete agreement with you analysis Sundance.
I am doubtful of what solution there could be.
Yes, America is almost entirely captured by the Uniparty, and it’s time to fight back
Rejecting this nefarious force starts with recognizing reality.

“Perhaps we lost him before the 2020 election, when the “six ways to Sunday” group fired a shot across his bow with the issues about “widespread sexual abuse in OSU’s wrestling program.” The timing seems to fit with the overall dynamic and how the intelligence apparatus operates.”

“Compromised” is his pronoun.
I think the only one who would move the needle as Speaker is Byron Donalds.
Musical chairs in process. The script is being written. Media psychopaths are blowing their minds. Tuesday it is.
We discount the power of the Blackmail Industrial Complex at our own peril. The Patriot Act + the weaponization of the apparatus created by the Patriot Act against the American people + the spy in our pockets (cell phones) + the slow death of national character = the BIC. Everyone, especially Congress Critters feeding at the public trough, is subject to compromise/corruption at the hands of the BIC.
Most citizens can’t tell the difference between activity and accomplishment. Congress takes advantage of that. Congressional Hearings = Activity. Subpoenas and Convictions and Punishment and Changed Behavior = Acomplishment.
Blackmail ensures the gears of government are mired in meaningless activity that fascinates the undiscrimanating citizen. Nothing gets accomplished that benefits the Republic, only the tyrants.
It’s almost impossible to imagine the amount of data that has already been collected on citizens, let alone all that will be available in the future. And all of it is available for the taking without them having to even ask for permission. It helps to be the one to write the rules for things like that.
I believe you’re exactly correct, we’re all compromised one way or another and those in office more exposed. Dude shows up at your door with a folder filled with true or not docs and what’s a boy to do? Comply with deep state or else….
JJ is a jester, spinning yarns, and keeping you entertained, wasting time till you lose interest and back to the SOS. Like looking for Bigfoot lot of leads but just can’t seem to catch him.
It certainly must be granted that not every Republican and/or conservative leader is any kind of hero, but are they all, or virtually all (except Trump), villains?
If they are all, or virtually all (except Trump) villains, we are so completely end-stage screwed.
No. Never quit. If that is true and we come to see that it is, then we know the truth better now. That is progress. Never quit. These people aim to kill us.
Having an ever lengthening list of villains is not progress.
Jordan’s crew has already sent a text to my wife asking for money…to do all the things he says he will do, but never does.
I was with a professional organization from Ohio visiting his office to ask for support for our industry. Met him in the hallway as we were headed to his office. He stopped and talked to us for about 45 seconds and I smelt a rat right away. Not sure what it was but it was instant. I’ve never trusted him since. SD is right – he plays his role and some of us fall for it. Not me anymore.
Agree 100% about Jordan. I gave up on him a long time ago. He is a bull sh*tter. Something happened to him. His wheels constantly spin in the same spot but he never moves. He will be a controlled placeholder as Speaker.
Yes, Jim Jordan would concern me greatly.

I remember why I cancelled my 30 year subscription about 8 years ago.
Currently. Jordan. 82.8%.
Whoever the next speaker might be, better state than on their very first day they’re going to release all 18,000 hours of j6 footage! If we can’t get that statement from whoever that pick might be….. pass them by…..also if those tapes are released, vote cheating or not, it would be a landslide in Patriots favor!
Foiled again Batman! Dang!
Useful idiot whether by design and/or intrinsic moral trait doesn’t matter.
Still waiting for Jim Jordan to impeach FBI Director Wray and Merrick Garland…
FBI Creates ‘MAGA’ Extremist Category, Targets Trump Supporters Ahead Of 2024 Election
BY TYLER DURDEN
WEDNESDAY, OCT 04, 2023 – 03:40 PM
The Biden FBI has ‘quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump’s army of MAGA followers’ ahead of the 2024 election, according to prolific (and well connected) anti-war journalist and political commentator, William Arkin, who has previously reported on the FBI’s efforts to “Fight MAGA Terrorism.”
As The Federalist perfectly notes:
Despite widespread, leftist-led and encouraged riots during the 2020 summer of rage, FBI data says that spikes in domestic violent extremism and domestic terrorism investigations in 2020 and 2021 “show clearly that the main targets of the investigations and cases open were of Trump supporters,” not the people who wreaked billions of dollars of damage on American cities.
Similarly, “assessments,” a shadowy tool used by the FBI to spy on Americans who have political or ideological associations deemed unfavorable by the agency, “more than doubled from 2019 to 2021.”
A drastic rise in politicized probes of Trump voters follows an avalanche of rhetoric touted by President Joe Biden, his White House, Democrats in Congress, Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and other officials who have named the “domestic extremism” often pinned on Republican voters as the nation’s biggest threat.
The increase also serves as a continuation of the Biden regime’s persecution of its number one political opponent and his popular brand of wrongthink ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

That may be what causes a mortal wound for the deep state – a fatal error.
Many, many of the MAGA movement are God’s Children. Going against and persecuting us is sure to boomerang and bring trouble down on them.
PDJT obviously has God’s protective Hand over his life. God’s Blessings and Favor surely enable PDJT to stand up to all that is poured out on him, day after day.
That PDJT is at peace with what’s going on throughout his life is a miracle in itself! When asked, he said that he is happy and enjoying life – he sleeps well.
He fights for America -we are one nation ‘Under GOD’. God is on our side and justice will be coming.
Stay strong and stand for Him – because there will be bad times before He’s done with turning our world around.
