The absolute #1 feedback CTH receives both publicly and privately, even by those who hold tremendous influence amid what we would call the body politic, is something akin to … “I need to be honest with you, I thought you were nuts, but wow, you were right!” – or some version or iteration therein.
That said, there is a great urgency needed in our communication with our family, friends, loved ones and overall community.
There are many conservative ushers, many paid for their job in the business theater of politics, who would prefer we do not question our seating assignment – let alone challenge the scripted performance we are told to watch on the stage. Understanding this facet is going to become increasingly important, as the specific people who control the mechanisms of power become ever more exposed.
A comment by Gemstone is well timed, and actually aligns with a current communication question I am seeking to solve. I also remind myself that when I find difficulty in solution, you guys – the smartest and most aware group of our nation – always have exceptional insight that can help me. Here’s the comment:
…”Sundance, When I attempt to inform the not so informed around me with the information that I read every morning on your pages I receive looks of “no way”, “seriously”, and “why is this the first time that I am hearing about this corruption”. I don’t know how people can be so ill informed. Well, we know as it is easier for Americans to keep this corruption at arm’s length until if finally slaps them upside the head.”… [link]
My questions:
♦ What is the average knowledge of the scale of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past few years? Why?
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
Trust me when I say this discussion, while extremely important now, is going to become even more important in the next 12 months.
I am distinctly aware, perhaps uniquely aware of the information control actions that will take place in 2024.
They will be very intense and very targeted.
In 2020, they locked down voters to create the mechanism of control (ballots). In 2024, I can already see the control approach looming; they will lock down voices. Very specific voices.
If you are a regular reader of this site, you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. Meaning, you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence.
The challenge is getting those who understand the big picture dynamics to stop being comfortable and sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”. Most people are still clinging to beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to national leadership writ large. We need to change that thinking quickly – or we will be left explaining ‘what happened’ far too late.
There is also a major issue with conservative “ushers” guiding the audience into a state of tactical numbness. A willful blindness within part of the American electorate, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unconstititional actions we are seeing on a daily basis.
It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of, “I can’t see what’s happening”, because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate. “I can’t see it”, just doesn’t cut it.
It’s more along the lines of, “I see what’s happening, but it’s scary and complicated and confusing, and if I admit that I see it, I will become responsible in a way that I am not if I keep pretending; I can’t see it or hear it, or maybe I don’t understand it.”
Why don’t we dare say what is so? Are we a bit afraid that if we give up the willful blindness we will perhaps start screaming and not be able to stop? Do we think we have so little courage? Do we really believe that we have no resources to bring to the battle? Or nothing more to contribute to the turning of the battle?
There are patriots who some might say resemble one of those slightly mad orchestra conductors who keep yelling, “More trumpet! More TRUMPET!” Many of you are such slightly mad orchestra leaders. Do not be alarmed by some of the strange looks you are getting these days.
My questions:
♦ What is the average knowledge of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past several years?
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
Trust me when I say this discussion, while extremely important now, is going to become even more important in the next 12 months.

I have had some luck with the argument that “abundance” is already here but it seems something is blocking it. What do you think that is?
The Radical Left has spent decades honing their skills in psychological manipulation converting followers into drones willing to engage opponents. We must do the same using their playbook.
Rules for Radicals – Saul Alinsky
RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”
RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.”
RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.”
RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”
RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”
RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.”
RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”
RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”
RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
RULE 12: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
I believe implementing ‘small public victories‘ will empower more to join the cause (Rule 6) like:
(1) We witnessed 2 days ago in New York an ‘Influencer’ used ‘Free Play Stations’ that caused a riot. I’m sure a non-violent event could be orchestrated that makes fools out of attendees
(2) We saw how Trump beautifully baited the media with a ‘press conference’ before the Hillary debate only to feature a table of women accusers of her husband Bill Clinton. That was a classic!
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-appears-bill-clinton-accusers-ahead-debate/story?id=42686583
10 to 15 years ago I read a book about how to use Alinsky rules against the left. As I read your list everything was ringing true except I got stuck RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
How does that one work as a positive from Alinsky’s perspective?
RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
<i>”Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem. (Old saw: If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. Activist organizations have an agenda, and their strategy is to hold a place at the table, to be given a forum to wield their power. So, they have to have a compromise solution.)”</i>
Further reading on Saul Alinsky, his books; Reveille for Radicals (1946) and Rules for Radicals (1971), and his views on community organizing and his life (miserable human being)

Thank you for the detail and further reading.
Not sure I’m getting this yet. Not having a solution to a problem would let the enemy score points. That makes sense.
Ah, wait a minute, on re-read yet again….he’s talking to his team and telling them that if they want to score points they have to do their homework which is making sure that they have a solution to the problem.
Their definition of a solution is of course different than ours but that’s beside the point. They just have to sell their solution to their brain washed followers/agitators/media and then keep pushing.
a. I would say 30% have a strong clue, and that of those who don’t seem to, some have gone very silent and I think they may be in a process of change. b. And yes I and they are all waking up, from wherever we are, over the last few years. What has helped me a lot, has been to hear Sundance say something astounding, then I wait, and lo, it comes true. Such as the top of the GOP backstabbing PDJT. Or the DOJ behaving in a way that makes zero sense unless their main goals are defend themselves and virtue signal. Yes that is indeed true.
c. The hope I have for the truth, is that when people love God more they will be more interested in the truth, more open to change, less committed to cocooning, more able to admit a past wrong or mistake. I think God is working in all hearts, and has his own way to each one, and my role is always tell the truth, and let him use that seed as he will. The Mother of God is said to have appeared at Medjugorje in the 1980s, and she said then that evil was weakening, that it would become more aggressive as it weakened, that terrible things would happen and especially to children, and to hang on. So my plan is, hold on, tell the truth, give people heart that the future is in good hands even though the near future is plainly terrible, pray, confess, give alms. Sometimes I want to ask the Lord to just send an asteroid, but instead I tell him I agree on full consideration with his mother’s plan which seems to be patience with evil as I myself have received.
My answer is to educate. I personally handout pocket Constitutions with Declaration of Independence. Each is stamped with the battle cry “DEMAND GOVERNMENT FOLLOW OUR CONSTITUTION”. They are very well received. Most people, especially younger adults are surprised by how small the Constitution and Declaration of Independent are. They believed both founding documents were very lengthy. When you tell them they can read it in a hour they’re amazed. Most start reading it right away.
I always explain that this is the legally binding document that all of Government from the federal to state and local are required to follow the Constitution. Also explain that just like the Monopoly game they play has a rule book to be followed, the Constitution is the rules of our country that all government must follow. If we follow the Constitution then everyone is able to easily access it to verify of Government is operating as required. It also allows We The People to hold our government accountable. 98% are receptive.
A study I read a few months ago stated that 57% of American adults can’t name 1 right listed in the 1st Amendment. That has to change or this great country of ours will be lost.
DEMAND GOVERNMENT FOLLOW OUR CONSTITUTION
I’ve narrowed my sphere of influence extensively in the last few years. I’d say the emergence of President Trump has revealed to me the total corruptness of government agencies. I knew and saw it there starting with the 1st year of Obama. Had a friend caught in the web of the IRS targeting of conservative groups. All he was doing was educating high school students on the Constitution with a 501c (can’t remember if it was 3 or 4). However the IRS refused to give the group the 501c status.
He testified before the House and told me about the experience. That’s where the 2nd awakening occurred. This is both the Commie/Dems and GOPe – if they were off the camera, none of them listened and they all just carried on like it was a joke. That’s when it really sunk it none of them give a fig about any of us. Including my own Rep.
But Trump ripped the veneer off all the agencies along with especially the GOPe.
Of my coworkers there’s only one who buys into the bs of the Commie/Dems. She’s in a biracial marriage where the in laws all buy into the marxist theory. They’re a typical black family who are religious and conservative in their daily lives yet buy into the marxist bs. Slowly we (my other coworkers) try to enlighten her without it being obvious. She’s a lovely gal and good person, just very misguided.
I have had some success getting a couple family members and my boss off of Faux News. Also, thanks to this site have steered them away from RDS.
I used to be very involved with the local GOPe but just couldn’t do it any longer. They drove me crazy. I live in a community that is 95% GOP and yet they are mostly clueless. My county just voted to spend $1 million on new machines and this was after a local city election proved the machines were mucked up. It’s one of the case examples exposed – see Franklin, TN city election machine software issue. So, to correct the situation, they are buying all new machines!
You just can’t fix stupid.
Thank you Sundance.
There is a willful blindness inoculating the people who would otherwise have their world fall in.
Should I say I was there once, hence Bush and Romney. It was impossible to look at a Clinton or an Obama to vote for.
Today I despise the Bushes and the Romneys.
They are weak men.
One of my family members overseas does not want to look at Ukraine they way he should.
Russia Bad Russia Bad. Putin Bad and is refusing to look at the historic run up to the war.
Talking about willfully choosing to be blind: Overseas almost everyone is vaccinated: they dare not or cannot look at the elephant in the room while friends family and acquaintances are dying all around and getting sick.
It is scary to them.
The same here with the sick vaccinated people. “It’s not the vaccine……”
However I have some friends who now say:no more! They know.
Politically our friends are still MAGA. I have to poll some others as we saw some DeSantis moves but I think they might have seen the light.
Politics ARE complicated. Start explaining what and how the Russia collusion came to be.
As I am considered to be in the last quarter of my life, some of our friends are tired and unable to attend rallies. (we still do if close enough where we live).
The last elections proved our votes are not counted or hijacked.
I think CTH is very important in getting the word out. Especially the reasonings, the research and as you mentioned the wisdom and knowledge of the readers here.
I share postings as much as I can. I get bombarded with many emails instagrams and what not. I share always with a comment of mine as just sending an article does not make the person read it.
You need to ask their input, position or rebuttal.
Sundance, we need to preserve this site above all and I will send you some support by PayPal.
As always, with gratitude.
My immediate family knows the score (4 people) I have 3 friends who know the score.
Yes, we are more aware now. Thanks to Sundance and Steve Bannon.

SUNDANCE:
Since 2007, I knew the fix was in !!! However, due to life challenges, I had no time prior to do any research – After (3) years of research and participation in forums, I found you in 2010 !!!
Over time, you verified my research and added to it with your timely posts – I shared my excitement like a lunatic to no avail – Politics – YUK – they would say – not interested – except for a select few who devoured your intel !!!
What can I say – but – that I tried – however – in the last 2.5 years – all of that has changed – more and more people on my distribution list are asking me to keep sending your articles !!!
One problem, though, the CTH community is so far ahead of the curve – I get too many questions about your current info and intel – how in the world can I possibly bring them up to speed ??? A daunting task – I must say !!!
Any suggestions ??? Anyone ??? I have read what others say, especially Betsy, who reminds us to remain calm and just plant a seed – let God do the rest – I wholeheartedly agree with her !!!
God Bless You Real Good, Sundance, for all you do to keep us abreast of what is happening in our world today !!!
Send your associates to the Treehouse archives where they can find the answers. They’ll absorb it and come back for more,
WILL DO – THANKS, LINDY !!! ❤️
As the matriarch of an already conservative family, we are constantly sharing information from trusted sites. I also have taken the burden on of reading not so friendly sites. It is depressing, but hey I’m the granny with the most time. I find that as a whole we are very well informed. As an example, we are all True Bloods. Why? Because I started reading the scientific reports regarding Covid coming out of Europe. It became clear that we were being heavily censored about all things Covid. We’ve taken the same attitude regarding our elections. I don’t think we can win another federal election until we address the corruption of our electoral process. My family members are not positive about the outlook for our country right now.
We thought we were living in a protected area here in the San Joaquin Valley. But just this week, we found that a Chinese bio lab had been operating with some very nasty diseases in a small town not 15 miles from where we live. The kicker? The City and County government had known about this for over a year without telling us. Further, the same lab had been operating in Fresno for years!! It’s become obvious that there are probably hundreds of these type labs located in small town all across America. So my advice to our family has been hunker down, stock pile meds, food ammo and water. Plan to take care of your family without any help from our government. Further, we recently had two weeks of 100-112 degree weather. Just got our bill from Southern California Edison. Our 2000 square foot house where the thermostat was set for 75 during the entire event? $1100!! The powers who secretly run our country really don’t like us Worse, they are not afraid of us.
When I read about the Chinese bio-lab in CA, it got me thinking about all the warehouses here in OK that are cannabis growing and processing plants. Many are owned by Chinese. What if they aren’t cannabis related but something else entirely?
I’ve started gathering information about who owns them, and plan to discuss with people that attend our next local GOP meeting. I have been told, but have not personally verified this with the sheriff, that they are exempt from inspections. I now have a list of almost 4,000 registered “businesses” that are cannabis growers and processors just in OK!!!
more to come…we must all keep our ears to the ground
How did you find the cannabis growing and processing plants in OK? I am trying to find them in GA, because it is now legal to grow medical marijuana. The fact that these processing plants might be exempt from investigation, is a red flag if true. Any state that allows cannibus production should be able to investigate to make sure the companies are doing what they claim.
Easy to do in Denver Colorado.
Just follow your nose.
Excellent!
I wonder how it came about that such businesses were exempt from inspections?
Could they still be inspected due to a code enforcement violation and it would be about inspecting the premises – the building, safety, fire hazard from electrical overloads, waste/septic issues, etc.?
It sounds like a perfect set up for a biolab, such as the one at Reedley, CA – if a place was purportedly for a pot farm but something else within!
EXEMPT FROM INSPECTIONS???? Are you kidding me?
It looks like they ought to be inspected!
It is interesting to hear Sundance reference the timing of a year. Michelle Bachman spent some time in Europe recently and she makes reference to a one-year horizon for digital id in this interview. (start listening at 13:15)
In MN most abide by the “aw shucks that can’t be” worldview. Election fraud is endemic (eg Senator Al Franken), and TDS is widespread.
My 2 approaches, and I talk to everyone I can — friends, family, neighbors, people at work, and those waiting in line with me:
(1) Talk about the border and fentanyl. An ignorant but sweet college student came to my door during the campaign. I said I could NEVER support our congresswoman because she is for open borders, which means she is responsible for fentanyl deaths. She was stunned into silence. And she admitted she’d never considered that nor heard anyone bring it up. I was very cordial and thanked her for coming. She, too, was polite and thanked me for explaining my position and said she’d tell the campaign.
EVERYBODY is against fentanyl overdoses and child trafficking. Neither exists without government sanction. If you see that, then you see we can’t build government “solutions.”
(2) I am done living in fear and refuse to go along with the next lockdown. Tell people! If they ask what I mean, I say it was done once and it will be again, so be ready to not comply.
In MN being dispassionate and neutral is seen as authoritative.
Plant a seed! Yes, the hour is late but this is the only path I have found to reach others.
I recently had a new plastic privacy fence installed and half of the crew were college summer workers. I asked them what they will do for a job if oil production is shut down? I said “you are aware that all this plastic comes from fossil fuel right?”
I also asked if it was bad that all the plastic(oil) used in cars to lighten the weight and get better fuel economy was a bad thing. They all looked at me and said “yah, you’re right, we need oil”.
I then asked if they knew others with college degrees that are in low paying jobs not related to their degree. Most shook their head yes. I then asked if they knew anyone working as an electrician, plumber, carpenter, or any skilled worker making 80k plus a year without lifetime student loans and without a degree. They looked at me acknowledging they knew this but also seemed not ready to change course.
There is hope.
Great job! (you did)
I think many are in denial. I live in a large condo community in the swamp. Because it’s the swamp, many residents worked, or are still working for the federal government. And because of the age demographic, these people became dyed in the wool de
(Sorry, using new iPad, or trying to) dyed in the wool democrats while they were in college. They refuse to see what’s happening. Plain and simple.
If I was a billionaire I’d be using billboards on main highways in every state with specific exceptionally worded or pictured memes. The average person see’s messages daily from the lying press we’re missing not letting the average person see our message daily where ever they drive. Those of us on social media know what an impact memes and pictures have and so do conservative websites that use them.
I know, kinda useless to suggest something I have no way of implementing but I sure wish it could be done. I think the impact could be monumental.
Agree there is an opportunity here. Seattle libs shut down on direct approach. I have some success with messages on the rear window of my car, many from Sundance. I keep responses simple, even dems are tired of non-stop virtue lectures.
“End the Great Pretending” “There’s no such thing as Misinfo” “I ❤ Critical Thinkers” “I Am the Dog Whistle”
It seems that Michael Matt has heard Sundance’s call for who is awake? Matt is using his “trumpet” to make a call to action.
It is fascinating at how Michael Matt ties together the “New World Order” with the changes in the Catholic church and how it all relates to Klaus Schwab and the globalists plans to rule the world.
Like Sundance, Matt is sending out a call to action! Whether Catholic or not, he has connected the dots between the Vatican and the corruption we have all been witnessing in our government and governments around the world:
https://remnantnewspaper.com/web/index.php/articles/item/6747-the-cardinal-s-sins-a-vatican-secret-pact-with-the-devil/
On the subject of communication tools, it may be time to examine the efficacy of posts on the presidential thread consisting of thousands of words that have updates (sic) dated two and three years ago and require everyone on a scroll – dependent comment section that auto-starts at the top to scroll past them every time they refresh the page.
I tried to count the number of paragraphs today, and came up with 224 paragraphs worth of material top-posted by one poster. I may have miscounted due to the length, but I think that’s sufficient to convey the evident issue. These are paragraphs that also include embedded links.
The question has to be asked if the way this is being presented is truly edifying or perhaps actually presenting an impediment. There’s a reason people posting in the open thread for example seem to post a devotional with a selection of verses as opposed to an entire chapter of the Bible, and it figures to do with efficient use of time and readability.
Even if some people would read it over and over again daily (or multiple times in the same day), there’s absolutely nothing stopping anyone who wants to do that for making a screenshot of it, cut and pasting it, or what have you.
A single link at the top of the page could conceivably serve the purpose of people clicking it and reading the same thing, while those who don’t do not have to scroll pass the same arguably unwieldy thing over and over again.
Small town in CT here…one weekly newspaper mailed to all residents. The Letters to the Editor of a political nature are a drumbeat of liberal-think, usually from the same few names. Any letter published with a view or concern which does not conform to the curated liberal platform is counter-pointed the following week. The method often used is a take down of the ill-informed and ignorant conservative reader with a public thrashing for the town to read the next week. Lest anyone dare to pen a letter and publish their own conservative observations, they too will suffer the same fate.
The vigilance these folks have in publicly pushing and defending the MSM narrative seems almost out of proportion to the goings-on in our town. They succeed in making liberal-think the norm by dominating the citizen perspective. It makes one wonder if this is organic or somehow part of a larger strategy of message control right down to the local level.
Sundance asks about awareness and tools. There are thousands of small town newspapers with local articles, syndicated columns on various topics, community events and classified ads delivered weekly and which people actually read over coffee. What is put in print is absorbed and processed more completely by the reader. Food for thought as comms support channels are being assembled.
Shame is very powerful
This is the Associated Press system used by our local paper. Most of the opinion/editorial page hosts leftist/lib columns and a few letters to the editor. It’s a very unsatisfactory situation. The political cartoons therein have the same left wing slant. I live in Cochise County, AZ.

Perception of govt corruption: Family-huge close family, just celebrated 60th family reunion (in a row)! Most very aware, younger gen being schooled by elders. Ancestor fought war of 1812, famous for painting battle of NorthPoint. Religious. Many fought in wars, many vets, many serving. Patriotic and concerned for our country. Families must stick together. Our family is close. We’re blended. We’re un-fractured. We’re aware of the corruption and are prepared. Friends like family. Critical thinkers, ready. Never have we seen such vicious persecution of one man, his family, his circle, his supporters. Started with the Tea Party. It ends now. It’s become so very obvious that Communism is on the rise in our own republic. Our collective answer is NO. HELL NO!!!
Community can be persuaded. Become involved. Go to local meetings. Attend town halls. Attend school board meetings. Help coaches and sports in schools. Get to know people. Make changes.
Perception has become more awakened, yes. At the grocery store, the gas station, paying the electric bill, taxes, life is more expensive and difficult. For businesses, for farmers, for families, for retirees. Too many rules. Too much crime. Too many lies. Angry and awakened. Battle ready.
Make big moves. Move to rural America. Join local communications groups. (They work with police and first responders.) Get to know your community leaders. Work the polls. Go to local meetings. Volunteer. Garden. Know your neighbors. Have a plan. Attend town hall meetings. Pay attention. Meet your state leaders. Write to the local papers, write to your politicians, call them. Stay active. Be strong. Stay aware. Be ready.
Many of my liberal and moderate/apolitical friends have begun to question the whole Covid narrative, especially the vaccines. When we talk about this, I point out that the same fools that pushed Covid hysteria also push Green extremism. They want to take away your gas stove, water heater, furnace, and AC. If the person goes there and doesn’t shut down on me, next I link to anti-Trump hysteria. More and more will grasp the first two points but breaking out of the anti-Trump mental cage is harder. In general, people of faith are more oriented to logic and truth than secularists who go with their emotions.
Many in my family/group sense the corruption, but continue to be tied to the legacy media as providers of truth. While they understand the evil of child sex change efforts, they also cite the media line about tolerance toward LGBTXYZ. So there is obvious cognitive dissonance when I raise the particular issue of children. They wince, but will not engage.
This of course follows the ongoing dissonance created by the media. Support George Floyd/don’t support riots. Support sports players right to protest racism/don’t support the method of kneeling for the anthem. Oppose racism/oppose defunding police. Oppose book banning/oppose books teaching kids to change gender. Understand Biden/leftist corruption/cannot stand Trump’s tweets (and many of them are not even on Twitter/X).
In other words, the left gets you to go along with the general platitude, but they then tie the platitude to action that you don’t support.
My view is the media and their hissy fits on conservative issues are a form of mental torture inflicted on the populace, which only goes away once the leftists get their way, like when Biden “beat” Trump. So when people say “I can’t stand Trump’s tweets” what they are really saying is “I can’t stand the media harping 24/7 about them.”
I slept on this. Here goes. My circle of friends and associates are 50 percent aware and that is more than most. I’ve separated myself from the brain dead MSM crowd. My family is listening to me. I’ve been a Treeper for several years so you know where I am. As far as what to do, I think local and financial is where most of us are most effective.
I live in a mid-sized city in central NC. We have elected for several terms a very conservative sheriff. This is his last term because of age. I’ve identified a young sheriff’s deputy who I believe would be a great replacement for him. Also, we have a local area newspaper that holds the politicians in the municipalities and county accountable for their stupidity.
Local is our strength as well as our financial power. I don’t see what can be done at the federal level except for re-electing our lion and he’s going to need all of us to even begin to clean that mess up.
Also, pray like that monkey. God bless to all.
♦ What is the average knowledge of the scale of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
It ranges from minimal to intentionally ignorant/head in the sand. I have a couple off the deep end to this all being a conspiracy of aliens, the bankers, satan worshippers and so on. I have at least one that is all in as the end justifies the means. (They are a public school teacher that can only get a job as a substitute.)
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past few years? Why?
I have seen a few who have recognized the extent of the corruption. I personally knew it was there but didn’t realize how widespread it was. I thought there was a plurality – mostly left and moderate – on the take. I am now convinced anyone who stays in government more than a couple of terms ends up there unless they are a saint.
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
We have to:
1. get a wider audience to more independent traditional channels by more high profile personalities
a. will require more financial resources
2. pay for long play advertisements or paid programming on cable channels
a. will require more financial resources
3. generate long play advertisements or paid programming for streaming channels
a. will require more financial resources
4. create covert digital equivalents of telephone trees to:
a. share information
b. issue calls to action – Could AI be used to generate multiple versions of any call to action so it looks organic rather than ordered?
c. get out the vote – will require more financial resources – primarily for voter registration lists
d. monitor the election
5. <satire> Hack the channels issuing today’s propaganda points to the MSM minions and replace with crazy outlandishness, i.e. Ron Burgundy’s F-San Diego. No – not that crazy – but something that will get a lot of attention that can be easily be proven wrong.
My 2¢ Worth: I only keep up with a couple of devout liberal democrats, but rest assured that they have no idea what’s going on with the Biden bribery investigations. They truly live behind the iron curtain. They hate Trump with a passion, because that’s the propaganda they’re fed 7/24/365….despite their lives being better then than now.
As for what to do, I might suggest starting by abolishing the Telecommunications Act of 1996, as that appears to be what has allowed the consolidation of media – from 400 company ownerships to a mere 6.
antitrust
everyone knows we are pro trump and try every where we go to bring info and facts from cth eg stores, dr offices, and neighbors who are transplants from ny but the msm is overwhelming their brains with propoganda like pravda BEST is to starve the beast with spending eg less eg amazon is zero and think that our power is in the purse and always make fun of bud light purchasers in line OUR numbers and purchasing power is the safer way to peaceful protest that hurts them and not us God bless sundance and president trump
Sundance and Conservative Treehouse need wider distribution.
We Americans have a problem. The average American voter is ignorant, lazy, willfully blind, and complacent. It is tough to reach people like that, especially if they are computer illiterate. “Bread and Circuses” seems to be enough for them.
Our government has successfully “dumbed-down” our population, making them much easier to control. And they don’t seem to mind at all.
Education, improved communication, and adherence to the Rule of Law are key elements to the recovery of our American way of life.
We need to find a way to get the average voter involved, have more “skin in the game”. How do we do that?
*Maximize Proselytizing Effort*
We have to know that we’re dealing with many levels of prospects. Each of those levels are more likely to respond positively to different methods.
Think of a 1 to 10 scale with 10 being Treepers and 1 being the died in the wool marxist/WEF/leftist/radical/BLM/LGBQ/Pedo’s of the world.
Don’t waste time on #1
It’s tempting to think of people in the 8, 9, 10 area as being a waste of time because they “already get it”. Not necessarily true. This is why I share a lot if info on GAB. The only Lib’s on gab are trolls and they don’t get much traction. There are however, many 5’s through 10’s and even the 10’s don’t know all that they could. So while you might think “ah it’s just an echo chamber” it’s not. I get a LOT of info that I didn’t find elsewhere and I provide same in return.
To keep this short(er).
ID where a person is on that scale.
Determine what’s needed to move them up.
If you turn an 8 into a 9 that’s time very well spent. Use your targeted ammo on them and use the shotgun on the lower levels…you may hit someone and move them up a notch. Feel out the midranges and use your judgement.
Analyze but don’t overanalyze. Action is best.
Note: If you’re in line at the grocery store you don’t know where most are on the 1 to 10 scale so some level of guerrilla and/or psyop tactic could work and might be fun.
That’s my 10 cents. Feedback appreciated.
Thank you sirs and ma’ams.
Average knowledge of corruption
Many family and friends still think I’m nuts. I don’t care what they think about me, I care that too many STILL don’t ‘see it’ when it’s so black and white. The indoctrination and the absence of critical thinking is real.
Most know there is corruption and things ‘don’t add up’ but do not grasp the depth of it. In FL, people who are politically involved at the local level are much more aware of the extent of corruption at the county, state and national level. They have a good idea of the ‘deep state’ and its influence on most aspects of our lives. Many who were pro-Desantis for President, before he officially entered the race, are very quiet or have turned away and are questioning his alliance with the Globalists who are funding him. This alone has opened many eyes. I hope and think this will trickle down. Tallahassee is already positioning candidates to run for State Rep and State Senator for those who will ‘term-out’ and can’t run again. They ooze establishment, but come with PAC money so have an advantage coming out the gate. People less involved are less vocal and seem to stay distracted and avoid talking about it. Many of those who do, are retirement age+, and get their news from Fox or the WSJ so their view is blurred… even still, most support Trump and are outraged at the attacks.
Family and friends in GA accept the election results there, more-less, without question. The closer to the metro-Atlanta area, the more blind they are and the less they speak out about anything politically related, IF conservative. (What will the neighbors think?) They are vaxxed, boosted and see only the two party system. They keep busy with well-intended, beneficial, but ‘feel good’ distractions that apply a band-aid without doing anything to address what is causing the sore spot. Many of the larger churches are the same, but I think more of the smaller, rural congregations are having more honest conversations about it all. The more rural areas are more aware of corruption, but mostly on a national level. They still do not understand why so many people voted for Biden (yes, I know). Kemp is very successfully controlling the message.
Perception:
I’ve been aware of the corruption for years, but awareness is more deep and wide, perhaps because I proactively search for truth. There are some in my community of friends who do the same. For the most part, family and friends are more aware of corruption but blame it on ‘them’.. those unknown corrupt politicians in DC. It seems to seldom be THEIR elected officials (when of the same party)
Communication tools
Social media is great for sharing information and getting a glimpse into what ‘they’ are doing. However, we already know the reach is limited because of censorship, shadow-banning, etc. The CTH website is a daily go-to for me, but then again, the reach is limited to who takes the time to visit and read vs. who will read off the headlines Yahoo, Apple, Facebook, etc. feeds them. When only about 30% show up to vote in a primary, we can know we have a complacent citizenry.
I like the idea another has shared, to send emails to friends with links to the CTH blog posts
I think we need to attempt to reach people through methods other than social media and internet sources. Regardless, it sounds like these channels will become more challenging so we need a work around anyway.
One idea is to identify key issues and create traditional “sell sheets” or “rack cards”.. much the same as merchant might use to present their products and services. Bullet points could highlight the key issues. Some detail can be provided and then a QR code or web-link can be provided for more detail and/or for the ‘go deep’. The information at the link can be updated as needed, without making the original document obsolete. These could be shared electronically or printed on a home printer or by a local commercial printer. They can be shared with friends, community, left in public places, etc. This is something I can help with (design, layout), with some guidance, if it sounds beneficial.
It is very important to get involved locally. The precinctstrategy.com, in my opinion, is a great way to get involved with your local GOP. If nothing else, it’s a good way to meet like-minded patriots, learn of ways to get more involved or identify areas of concern (establishment influence & candidates)
With mine, there is a lot on in-fighting which turns a lot of people away. I tell people that is all the more reason to stay. The elected leadership last year went from ‘establishment’ Republicans to more grass-roots oriented. Many of the establishment side resigned which is great and exactly what needs to happen everywhere.
And back to the sell sheets, this is great place to share those talking points with leadership or other members to raise the topic and the issues. Some have influence with the state leaders and with elected officials at every level.
Didn’t mean to ramble. Enough already J
I am a forty nine year activist with Lyndon LaRouche, since the age of 20 in 1974. This is not to be confused with his widow’s anti Trump group, The LaRouche Organization.
We have recruited at dozens of Trump rallies, and are now proceeding to do outreach to auto plants.
At recent distributions to auto plants in the Detroit area of our literature promoting Trump’s Agenda 47 speech to save auto, we found overwhelming support from the 75% black and Hispanic workers. We are doing this kind of inner city blue collar outreach wherever we can, since the GOP leadership in most areas mostly talks to each other. Please watch the recent video interview with Autoworkers for Trump on our website: LaRouchePAC.com.
I don’t know. I’ll be honest: I always feel like a failure in getting people to understand or in communicating. I haven’t backed down but my efforts have not had any noticeable effect. I use history with people who are intractable. I try to worm my way in with something they seem open to. Does it work, maybe, in a way, but they still don’t link to the big picture. My eyes have been open since the 1980s, when I was comparatively young and studying U.S. foreign policy. I learned a lot about the CIA and their various assassinations at that time. I was appalled on Sept. 11th and understood we had just been false flagged when building 7 went down. I refused to go through the scanners at the airports. I was seriously upset when Bush won ‘again’ in 2005. I’ve been voting 3rd party candidates since ’93. I’ve been writing about media since 1990 and seriously alarmed about media since then. All this is a backdrop to saying this: Since the election of Trump, the first major party candidate I voted for since 93, the scale of corruption that has become clear to me is absolutely mind boggling. I knew it was bad; but I had no idea it was this bad. Every day I shake my head and just how much worse it is (it being the absolute corruption) every day. We support any and all people who understand–and we (my husband and I) try to work within the community. But are we successful? I really don’t feel it. But, I absolutely will carry on. And we sort of idly wonder because we live in a big old building in a small town in a blue state when we will begin to receive refugees from the cities in the form of friends and family. Though at this point, family is less of an issue. My family–brothers–and I are all aligned. Husband has only one sister who is not. I pray each night but yes, this is going to be a difficult year.
Another idea for question 3:
I admit that I’ve never tried it, but it might have potential. Make a deal with your Lefty friend or family member that for the next 3 weeks, you will read 4 websites of their choice, for a total of 1 hour (2 hours?) per day. Every day. And they have to do the same with 4 websites of your choice. Maybe there has to be some built-in accountability exercises (like each party must write a summary of one article from each website and text it to the other party). (These exercises probably won’t work with anyone under age 45). But I think the overall idea has promise because we all know that if a person would just be exposed to CTH, for example, for just 15 minutes a day, there’s a good chance that after three weeks, that person will be changed. If they aren’t red-pilled, they at least won’t be so into drinking the Lefty koolaid anymore.
I tried this with my 33yo daughter a couple of years ago-I would check out PBS (her choice) daily if she would check out CTH. She agreed but two days later told me she couldn’t stomach CTH-that was that. She is SO angry that I voted for Our President that it colors everything about our relationship.
My unjabbed status meant I wasn’t allowed to visit when her daughter was born nor see my 4yo grandson-I finally got to see them when granddaughter was nine months old. Politics, vax, etc are never discussed in any way, shape, or form.
One more thing. Attention North Carolina Treepers. We must support Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson as the next Governor of North Carolina.
We have 3 relatives that are on the fence, two of the three are long term supporters of the party of the ass.. All three voted for PDJT in 2020.. all three are currently singing RFK praises.. One of them simply because he has spoke out against the jab.. I’ve tried to show the history of the ass has always been one of deceit.. All three claim there is too much negative history surrounding Trump.. They don’t seem to understand all that negativity is media generated and has nothing to do with any facts or truth.. I’ve ask for examples of the benevolent help they have ever provided.. All I get are crickets..
Then I have the sickly neighbors that had the nerve to chastise us for refusing the jab.. Needless to say neither were sickly till they received multiple doses of the Covid vax.. and caught the Covid, twice.. Yep I’ve stooped and said “Told Ya So” I couldn’t help myself..
We have another neighbor that had a Biden sign hidden in his garage, too ashamed to to stick it in his yard.. when ask why he remotely thought that vote was a good idea he blamed it on his pastor.. He got mad when I told him churches have always been filled with grifters, in biblical terms they were called money changers..
I have no idea how better to deal with these dopes than to insult them as they have me.. I am the right wing, deplorable, uneducated, misinformed, nazi in their mist
I’m so distressed. Aside from a small coffee clutch of about 13 people, most of the people around me are almost too busy to care, or are oblivious to the Constitutional crisis that is about to befall us. They seem only concerned about day to day life and have little interest in current events. Talking to the uniformed and disinterested is frustrating to say the least. Meanwhile, 100,000 illegals a month pour across our borders.
♦ What communication tools … Another thought re this.
A weekly email, easy to forward, that recaps the most important issues of the past week, with a link to each one to view the full post on the CTH site
A friend forwards something similar to me every week. I don’t 100% agree with the source he is sharing, but I do read through it and find many topics informative.
A lot of great comments — my two cents:
#1 – Family and close friends are hyper-aware of the corruption. Our community at large: not-so-much. But, I think there is an awakening occurring.
#2 – Over the last 6-years, the vastness of corruption in our government and within global control groups is on full display and ‘in-your-face’. The pace has increased exponentially each year. People like you, Sundance, are to be credited for helping to expose it.
#3 – Most people don’t want to spend time going down the rabbit hole. Short and impactful messaging has the best chance of proliferating and/or going viral. Links or expanded text can accompany. Things I think can resonate:
Godspeed to us all !!
I agree with the above. I am going to go there and suggest that people tune into Infowars. It makes me so sad that Alex Jones is so vilified . I know he can be annoying sometimes, but he really cares about our country, the children of the world, and fighting the New World Order. He interviews many interesting people who are making a difference in our country. Owen Shroyer and Harrison Smith are both easy to listen to and love our country. Alex Stein is hilarious and makes great points with his videos. There are many young men and women who are out there making a difference. For instance, Tom MacDonald makes great musical videos with great lyrics. Young people trying to reach young people. Gotta happen.
Let there be light & love and may our actions seal the door upon all evil!
The lamestream media has a lock on about 30% of the population. They maintain this by not informing their viewers of basic news.
I believe their viewers are reluctant to go anywhere else for news because the media tells them not to. Their audience is told “those other guys are conspiracy nuts or those other guys lie” and because that audience has been told what to do, they do just that.
I don’t know a way around some of the population that actually wants to be told what to do. They are not curious and are tied up in social media and they have no initiative to seek out something else. These are the same sheeple that don’t follow history, don’t read, and don’t question what they are told. They make very good communists.
Pain is the only factor that will open their eyes.
In this sea of liberals in CA, my experience has been that you can’t reason with a person who doesn’t have the capacity to grasp the meaning of facts. Liberals will do back flips to spin everything to match the indoctrination they are receiving from CNN, NPR, NYTimes, etc, which is enforced by their peer groups. They are terrified of not fitting in with their liberal adult cliques who try to be the people CNN and the others creating the MSM Gleichshaltung want them to be. They are terrified of being “cancelled” by these people. Ultimately their lives are being run by fear and their desire to fit in with the Communist Democrats and Hollywood Elites. The fear seems to supersede any capacity to use logic. For example, the inflation they see at the grocery store, gas pump, or on their electric bill is blamed on Putin, because that’s what NPR said, although they are willing to acknowledge that inflation is linked to the rise in the cost of energy. These same people will put their hands over their ears when reminded that the energy inflation started with Biden’s EO’s on energy policies as soon as he became POTUS, which was long before Putin invaded Ukraine. They will parrot the MSM Gleichshaltung that this inflation was all created by Trump’s presidency, but they are incapable of explaining what they mean by this. With a straight face these same people will tell you that it is actually a good thing that the US credit rating was recently downgraded, (if they are even aware of this) and that Bidenomics is going to save our economy from total ruin.
Another aspect related to this topic to consider:
Christian leaders remind us that the Bible says in the end times there will be massive deception and disinformation. We have certainly seen this dynamic skyrocket in the past 6 years. In a recent sermon, Jack Hibbs, from Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills CA has offered a good explanation for the consequences of satan’s deceptions that we see in people all around us . Hibbs reminded us that according to the Bible, those who have not received Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior will be vulnerable to the veil of deception that Satan puts over people’s eyes in the end times. And if we are among His people we will be immune to this deception. God gives us the ability to have eyes that see the truth, so we are less likely to be manipulated by the lies and gas lighting.
So perhaps another way to look at the spiritual and cultural war we find ourselves in during this battle to save our country, is to realize the importance of helping people awaken to the Kingdom of God in Jesus Christ. And to find a church that is talking about the end times in Revelation and other parts of the Bible, and is discussing how this applies to what we are seeing in the world today. In our church we talk a lot about maintaining resilience and how to navigate these end times. Perhaps this is what will help most of all to awaken people to the powers of darkness intent on destroying our Constitutional Republic.
One problem is groups of people have different attitudes. For example, economics/money is a huge factor. People making money on corruption can’t be reached. People having problems at work because of economics might be reached. So we must consider the circumstances of a person/group we want to reach.
Another huge difference is the level of trust in “authority.” Trusting people will be hard to reach. The same with people who might have their trust eroded but they respond by being afraid to do anything differently. Fear is a huge issue. We can best reach these people by “watering grass” (see below).
Another issue is people process information in many ways. We all do not “think” the same. Review Clifton Strengths and you’ll get a sense of that. We need to pause and realize this and try various approaches to see what clicks.
So what else can we do no matter what else is going on?
One thing is to become familiar with the Rules for Radicals.
Another is to look into how copywriters are trained to sell things. They pinpoint a need/problem and then pinpoint the benefit of their product. We can do that. For example, if someone is having money problems, we can talk about how PT got the economy humming.
But no matter which of these factors or circumstances are in play, the one big thing every single one of us can do is “water our grass.”
We don’t do this as much as the left does. They all do it 100% of the time.
The idea is simple: water our grass.
In an article that mentioned the old adage “which side of the fence is greener,” the author said something to the effect of “the side you water is greener.”
This is so true!
What you focus on and put your attention on increases.
Too often we put attention on arguing with what the left postulates.
What we need to do is focus on our grass and water it. We have all the best ammunition but we don’t use it enough.
For example, the left has hammered “orange man bad” so much it could be in the dictionary.
When someone says or writes one of these one of theses things, we need to laugh and say, for example, orange man good (or write that in comments). And then go to the next step and spread “President Trump is a good man.”
As another example, our side often says, “he is a flawed man but”. We need to stop with that! If someone criticizes, we need to say, “all men have flaws but all men are not corrupt and PT who been investigated for seven years by the DOJ/FBI has been proven to be the most law abiding man in the world.”
These are examples of watering our grass in conversations, but we can do the same in social media. We can also influence conservative writers and politicians to do the same by encouraging them when they “water our grass.”
And if you write articles/blogs, make an effort to continually water our grass. A great example is CatTurd. He has watered a lot of it.
We must sway the mass of people, and besides every day in every way “watering our grass,” another thing we can do is to support investigative reporters like Sundance, and, for example, Darren Beattie, Laura Lerner, and Natalie Winters.
The more facts we can get out, the better. This includes supporting people/groups like Mike Lindell (voting) or for example Moms for Liberty, who are trying to introduce “facts” into the discussion.
We need to water our grass every day in every way and all day long!
What is the average knowledge of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
birds of a feather flock together – my network is awakened to the corruption of the government and support MAGA
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past several years?
I’ve been awake since 1989 when I started listening to Rush Limbaugh – and have been active in talking about things. I’ve seen a few wake up, but the die-hard libs are still blinded by liberalism. One couple did not go out for two years during the plandemic.
What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
Because we “could” lose internet communication, I think short, well-written, small “fliers”, or longer in booklet form, would be helpful. I remember being at a local parade. A young man gave me a flier about George Bush’s corruption. I didn’t believe it at the time, but he planted a seed..and I fully believe it now.
♦ What is the average knowledge of the scale of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
– The details of the corruption? Low. But they have a sense that things aren’t right.
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past few years? Why?
– Theirs: Gradually.
– Mine: The discrepancy in 2016 between what the media said Trump said and what he actually said was my wake-up call. I’d already witnessed Obama betray every major promise he’d made to his voters in 2008, but resigned myself to believing Washington had broken his resolve. I didn’t understand the entire political establishment was wholly corrupt until it attacked Trump, much less Obama’s place in it.
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
– Reach them where they’re at. You can’t expect them to go searching for answers because they don’t know where to look. The media and politicians are great at creating confusion about what is true and false. They are experts at using the language and good-nature of average people against them.
50% of my time is preaching to the choir, the other 50 I’m pounding my head against the wall. Over the years I’ve offered many suggestions on getting our word out and holding a place at the table. But no, conservatives and true Republicans are still happy to sit silently with their thumbs up their a$$es. Where does this attitude and complacency come from? When will our reps in Congress actually do something other than hold a hearing? I rue the day cameras were allowed in those hallowed halls along with a 24/7 news cycle. This is a war to keep our Constitution and the Democratic Republic. If we lose this one we lose it all this time.
Except for rare instances, our reps in congress will do nothing except help themselves. They are part of one party, the uniparty, and all members serve themselves and their rich masters.
If you wait for them to do something, you will die before that happens.
What we all need to do is work from the grass roots up and get MAGA candidates elected (and in fair elections).
I’ve been at this truth walking since 1975. The more I found out about how corrupt our government was the more I kept thinking, SURELY I MUST BE MISSING SOMETHING, MY GOVERNMENT CAN’T BE THIS BAD. I was in denial for years because I SIMPLY DIDN’T WANT TO BELIEVE WHAT WAS RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES AND EARS. There is mountains of evidence to prove our government has been very corrupt for many many decades. I think there are a lot of Americans that would prefer to be in denial rather then face the GUT WRENCHING truth that our government is run by some really BAD people. I could say much much more.
I think constructing a series of short narratives with links to related info could help. These could be disseminated on Twitter, etc in feeds that have a lot of viewers of the type you are seeking to influence.
Ex. Write a short summation of burismagate and embed the biden “sob was fired” video. Include links to further info. You want to balance the amount of info given with the likelihood of losing short attention spans.
Interesting questions, SD.
I often use my Democrat brother as an example in comments I make in different forums. He considers himself fairly well informed. Except, he informs himself through the typical propaganda media sources. Some years ago, during the Obama years, I threw what I considered a question he would avoid: “You realize, don’t you, that the media lies to you, right?” I got about 10 seconds of silence, and then, “Well, yeah.” I was stunned at the time. I followed up with, “If you are being lied to, and you know it, how is it you make decisions in the voting booth, at election time?” “Well,” said he, “I guess I do it on emotion.” Bingo. I have found that MOST are dealing with what is going on today emotionally.
Some are waking up. My once apolitical sister is now probably a bigger Trump supporter than I am. She voted for him TWICE, when she had never bothered to vote before. Others see it, feel helpless to stop it. Very few look at the big picture, or ask the “Why?” questions. I’m often accused of being conspiratorial, doomsday, cynical and the like. Until they come back and tell me (my brother has done this) “you were right.” Problem is, without constant input to counter what they are consuming, they return to their slumber.
As to communication … that’s a tough one. Print, electronic, internet are all compromised and censored. A mass over the top method is not going to work. It’s going to have to become more grassroots. I’ve often thought of t-shirts that might say something like, “You aren’t losing your mind. You’re being lied to.” “Gaslight, Inc. is headed by the people you voted for.” Memes work to a point, but those memes need wider coverage. At this point, an awakening is occurring but it needs a catalyst. And since most still respond emotionally, the message needs to spur those emotions.
If you watch the movie “Gaslight” with Ingrid Bergman, Charles Boyer and Joseph Cotten, you see the machinations – now, just multiply that or project it onto a larger “screen” or scale – “writ large” as Sundance says – where millions of innocent, faithful, nice people are being gaslit over things like manufactured wars, election results, submitting to the “Covid” vaccines.
Knowledge of coruption: Two extended family members really get it and are aware. Most shrug their shoulders and change the subject. They might lean conservative but do not engage. Another said he prefers Pence mostly due to the Good Word and the LGBTQ agenda. He sees Pence as a good Christian. If not Pence then Trump for him. I gave him a link to the Treehouse. I hope he uses it.
Of friends in our small life? Two are somewhat aware. Two shrug it off and don’t engage. Two are liberal and both are stubborn and they don’t even know each other. They want be told what they want to hear.
Community? I tend to make friendly comments to strangers in the check-out when the opportunity arrises. Mostly I’m pleased with the feedback. If there’s time, a short conversation takes place and I steer them here. Occasionally I witness a mask wearer still today. On a rare bolder and rainy day I may wear my Trump 2020 No BS cap. Some smile, some don’t. Our new mayor does not fly the rainbow flag like the previous one did. Hope abounds. The awareness seems to be spoken in whispers though, if at all. The neighboring town however, much larger, has murals on the pavement, and the atmosphere is not what it was years ago.
Perception more awakened: Yes. One relative, I read this and she reads that, then we share what we learn. We’ve talked about our pre-blinders that we once wore. I credit Sundance, as well as many of the posters here for the wealth of information and the insights. I never believed Obama won a second term. Today I don’t believe he won anything ever. I read about the hammer and it was a validation more than an ah-ha moment. As for other family and a few friends, I believe their perception has become more awakened. Some family members are stocking up on food supplies and getting prepared for what may come. We are doing the same and stocking up on canning lids for next year too. Everyone complains about the grocery bill, but no one really talks about why. The Monopoly video was an unpleasant shocker for one family member, and a validation for another one.
Tools: Experiences. I didn’t realize exactly what Obama was until I read a particular post several years ago buried in a sea of diverse opinions on another site. The one that spoke to me was a comment where someone pointed out how Obama was depleting our military of ships and jets. That one jarred me enough to say, “STOP, BE STILL. Take a breath. What are you seeing? Is this true?.” Curtains were soon pulled back in doses and my curiousity quickly became dismay, then embarrassment for not knowing better, and then anger for being misled by the media. So that tool was a single post.
Of those liberal friends, I try small doses by posing questions like another poster here has already spoken of. The response is usually “…but videos can be doctored”, or “I don’t know enough about that so will have to look it up” (on websites they trust, which omits the truth). Even small doses is bad medicine some don’t wish to take. I walked up on two strangers chatting and heard a lady saying “it’s global warming”. I took a seat and added “yeah, I thought the same thing but do you remember those ice storms back in the 70’s? Didn’t they tell us it was going to be a new ice age?” The guy, was like “yeah, I remember that!” The lady paused and puzzled. It opened the conversation to a different viewpoint from her own. Maybe she will think about that.
In confession, I only voted dem once in my life, and that was due to Gore’s convenient lie to a nature girl who was younger than today, and not reeally paying attention, who had forgotten that ice storm of her childhood. I’m sorry. The real tool is to give people a cause about what they hold dear and you win their hearts, even if they are lied to. A good documentary helps. Buy D’Souza and give a gift. God Bless Him. The one thing about Gore’s film that scared people into submission was the fear with the sense of urgency. And it appealed to a younger audience, and the uninformed IMO. Pushing the fact that our country is on the edge of losing itself may not be enough even though it’s true, because some will not want to believe it and others hold dear something else. That one liberal friend embraces socialism as the fix-all and when asked about the possibilities of losing what she worked so hard for stated change requires pain sometimes.
Now that’s scary.
A liberal needs their own emotions appealed to. They are already afraid of losing what they hold dear, MSM has made sure of that. So maybe a balance has to be created. Pointing out the REAL inconvenient truths, like where are the batteries going to be dumped when the batteries die? How long before they leak into our soil? What will it do to our soil? What is the life expectancy of those mining cobalt and is it worth it? Is it true the Physician’s Desk Reference only includes data provided by the pharmaceutical companies and wouldn’t that be a conflict? Appealing to their own emotions and diverting their fears to the things that should matter for everyone may help an awakening to the truths we are facing as a society. There must be a rude awakening and it only happens based on fear and urgency if you want the swing voter.
I’ve been saying, “I’m never voting Democrat again” in the grocery lines, saying it as if I really did vote for Biden. (Ick) Because they can’t feel I’m questioning THEIR vote or their beliefs, I hope that I’m planting a little seed of “Hmmmmm” in their brains.
Thanks, I’m trying that tomorrow.
I’ve been reading George Washington’s Secret Six and was wondering do we go back to paper like they used during the war of independence or is their a way to use IPs instead of DNS and change those periodically?
I think they know something is not right but don’t know what. And then they see a main stream news story. And that’s a lot easier to except than one of your long explanations.
I have found I have got people thinking more by spoon feeding your stories to them.
I usually start with the trump economy posts the series. I take a few paragraphs and get them to agree then they will read the whole thing.
I do the same with Russia gate. And mail in votes.
By then they are reading you daily.
But it’s alot of work. I keep saying I am going to put a greatest hits together to make it easier.
Me too. I can’t them get beyond Orange Man is a Monster.
And oh how they love the PeePee Tapes. I’ve been told Crossfire Hurricane, Igor Danchenko & Tony Bobulinski aren’t real they are Fox News constructs. but one day… ☺
♦ What is the average knowledge of the scale of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
Family — The “kids” (which means nieces and nephews from 30 to 50) are all pretty oblivious to what’s really going on in the world. Those who are not are usually too busy working and taking care of their families to spend any time focusing on anything else. The “grownups” (which means people who are mentally/socially/emotionally younger than the “kids”) are mostly too focused on themselves and all their supposed whoes to notice the crap piling high around them. The adults, most know something’s going on, but the breadth of knowledge is fairly wide. Some people are loud mouths like me, while others are too afraid or have far too little knowledge about any given subject so they keep their mouths closed.
Friends — Most of my friends talk like me and know a lot of stuff about the long list of grievances we are being put through. Many of them enlighten me daily to new information, which I love.
Community — I live in one of the many hell holes of Minnesota, and this one is particularly ugly and evil. Utterly ugly and evil. The land and scenery look like paradise, but generally speaking the average resident is a Communist sympathizer who knows they are right even when clear facts are presented against their long held beliefs.
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past few years? Yes.
Why? It seems most of the people I know feel as though they have been awakened to the “truth.” Whether it is the Davos gang or Spanky and Our Gang trying to tear everything down, it makes no difference, we all know that someone — or a group of someones — wants to be the Penguin and rule Gotham City forever. Most people I know feel as though we are living in a poorly written, poorly performed episode of the 1960s BatMan T.V. show.
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
We have so many ways of communicating right now, but unless people are given a shock-treatment to wake up, they won’t pay attention to what is going on. Unless and until they realize the crazy things we have been screaming are the truth, all they’ll do is join along with everyone else and blame us for what is wrong in the world.
In our socialist area there is no “mass media” that will allow an impartial opinion; they only print their version of everything, and then they print their version of what they think our version is. Every opinion piece I or friends submitted during the last election were thrown in the round bin, and if not, they were never printed. So my husband and I thought about printing our own one page newspaper once a month and mailing it to everyone in our county, and we still may do that, even though the left is more than willing to take any person or business to court that does not agree with the perversion they push.
Why don’t we dare say what is so? Some of us do, but I have seen that most are fearful, and fearful of many different things.
Are we a bit afraid that if we give up the willful blindness we will perhaps start screaming and not be able to stop? I haven’t started screaming full time, yet, but have become so enraged at times by the evil right before me that I’ve taken to cussing and telling people to stick it up their ass. I always feel remorse afterwards though, knowing that kind of thing is the last thing I want to do to show the love of Christ to the world. I’m glad the apostle Paul wrote that the thing he wanted to do he did not do, and the things he did not want to do he did. Yes, in good company, but for a bad reason.
Do we think we have so little courage? I don’t. I have a big mouth and a big trumpet. I often think I am going to end up with a bullet in the back of my head, or the front, or that I’ll be carted off to prison or some other horrendous thing for speaking up. But I know many people who have said they were fearless and were willing to speak, only to cower in a corner when the time came for them to actually open their mouth and do so. Don’t know if it is the fear of speaking in front of people, or the fear of getting a bullet in the back of their head, but their initial intentions rarely show up when needed most. Maybe now is not the time, and they are waiting for when their words will really mean something.
Do we really believe that we have no resources to bring to the battle? I hear people talk about guns and bullets and preparing in many ways for a long-haul ugly situation. Will any of it be enough without having people willing to fight, no matter what the battle is?
Or nothing more to contribute to the turning of the battle? In 2016 I lost a friend due to voting for Donald Trump for President. In 2020 that same friend came back into my life, no apology, no mention of having walked away from me, but back she came and with a totally different take on what was going on. She realized Donald Trump was the best man for the job, so she had to realize she was wrong, and I didn’t rub it in or say a peep about water under the bridge. That same woman has been preparing for the worst, studying for different scenarios she/we may have to live through, and is now willing to fight for President Donald Trump — whom she knows is our true President.
We all have something to contribute, even if it is gathering one more can of food for a possible food shortage. Anyone who believes there is nothing more to contribute needs to be gently woken from their sleep, before they can sleep no more.
I think demoralization is responsible for much willful blindness among Conservatives.
Conservatives should cease entirely using Leftist nomenclature and instead use accurate terms (illegal alien) and devise terms/vernacular to replace those most used by the Left; it should be succinct, descriptive and mocking when possible. Ideally it also puts the Left on the defensive.
Examples:
Progressive – Regressive
Green energy – Grift energy
(Soros) DA – District Criminal Facilitator
Social Justice – Tribal Injustice
BLM – Barak Loves Marxism?
Elections – Ballot seasons
Media/journalist – Propagandist
Perhaps pie charts – one for each major Federal agency – showing partisan donations should be created and disseminated as widely as possible, esp on social media posts.
I am sure others can add to and/or improve on this.
