The absolute #1 feedback CTH receives both publicly and privately, even by those who hold tremendous influence amid what we would call the body politic, is something akin to … “I need to be honest with you, I thought you were nuts, but wow, you were right!” – or some version or iteration therein.
That said, there is a great urgency needed in our communication with our family, friends, loved ones and overall community.
There are many conservative ushers, many paid for their job in the business theater of politics, who would prefer we do not question our seating assignment – let alone challenge the scripted performance we are told to watch on the stage. Understanding this facet is going to become increasingly important, as the specific people who control the mechanisms of power become ever more exposed.

I also remind myself that when I find difficulty in solution, you guys – the smartest and most aware group of our nation – always have exceptional insight that can help me. Here’s the comment:

Trust me when I say this discussion, while extremely important now, is going to become even more important in the next 12 months.
I am distinctly aware, perhaps uniquely aware of the information control actions that will take place in 2024.
They will be very intense and very targeted.
In 2020, they locked down voters to create the mechanism of control (ballots). In 2024, I can already see the control approach looming; they will lock down voices. Very specific voices.
If you are a regular reader of this site, you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. Meaning, you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence.
The challenge is getting those who understand the big picture dynamics to stop being comfortable and sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”. Most people are still clinging to beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to national leadership writ large. We need to change that thinking quickly – or we will be left explaining ‘what happened’ far too late.
There is also a major issue with conservative “ushers” guiding the audience into a state of tactical numbness. A willful blindness within part of the American electorate, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unconstititional actions we are seeing on a daily basis.
It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of, “I can’t see what’s happening”, because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate. “I can’t see it”, just doesn’t cut it.
It’s more along the lines of, “I see what’s happening, but it’s scary and complicated and confusing, and if I admit that I see it, I will become responsible in a way that I am not if I keep pretending; I can’t see it or hear it, or maybe I don’t understand it.”
Why don’t we dare say what is so? Are we a bit afraid that if we give up the willful blindness we will perhaps start screaming and not be able to stop? Do we think we have so little courage? Do we really believe that we have no resources to bring to the battle? Or nothing more to contribute to the turning of the battle?
There are patriots who some might say resemble one of those slightly mad orchestra conductors who keep yelling, “More trumpet! More TRUMPET!” Many of you are such slightly mad orchestra leaders. Do not be alarmed by some of the strange looks you are getting these days.

I’d have to answer on a person by person basis. The less educated and/or MSM watchers tend to take “the narrative” at face value. They love the neat explanation that life was quite normal before Trump.
The “average” in terms of intelligence and awareness in my circle we’re going go about DeSantis, thinking of him as “Trump without baggage”. They are looking for a place to turn and also attribute too much ch of the “chaos” to Trump.
The interesting thing I’ve noticed lately is the number of self-described liberals who using terms like “Uniparty” and “Censorship” and “media complicity”. This is encouraging to me. In a conversation yesterday, I responded to liberals in a conversation saying our country is headed off a cliff and debating whether we had reached a point of no return. I wouldn’t normally risk getting uninvited or waste my breath trying to open the closed mind of a liberal. I felt a desperation and openness to ideas, so I said “we won’t know when the Rubicon was crossed for many, many years. But there’s only one candidate who is willing and able to slow down the train so we have a fighting chance to understand what’s happening and respond, and that is Donald Trump”. After much “mean Tweets”, “bad judge of character”, “ego out of control” opinions were expressed. I just said “I agree he trusted the wrong people. Any of us who are not DC lifers would have made similar mistakes. But he learned fast and is ahead of any of the other outsider candidates. No insider is going to change anything. Only people who are already billionaires and not in the web of corruption have any hope of exposing the graft. Everyone else is in a position of mutually assured destruction. I also agree that Trump’s attitude turns many people off, but we’re far beyond the luxury of choosing the person we like most. Trump is the only candidate that is ready to throw sand in all the gears. He is the only person who would make foundational changes like decentralizing the the federal government, changing entrenched civil servant entitlements or shutting down the NEA (which was only created during the Carter administration and has been counterproductive ever since)”
To my surprise, one self-described liberal, a veteran teacher, agreed that the NEA is destructive and should go. I’m not sure of courtesy kept them from saying “we’d rather die than vote for Trump” or whether there was a tiny “hmm, Trump could slow down the train …”
Regarding “communication skills needed” to try to open minds and educate people in our own circles, the parenting trick of “choose your battles” comes to mind. I may be telling every other person I meet what I see going on under our noses, but if there’s no opening, no chance of my message landing, I’m just creating a wall between us. I can’t become the person others avoid at the grocery store because they don’t want to hear my “Trump
speech”. I try to drop small anecdotes, especially to young people, like “my poor daughter had to move from her house with a 3.6% mortgage and buy at their new post with a 6.76% mortgage. Their payment is $1400 more a month. I told her that when she voted for Biden because he was “nicer than Trump”, she also voted to pay $1400 more a month and that I hope she’ll believe me the next time that voting is serious business, not a personality contest”. Then I move on and hope that story comes to their minds when they’re deciding who to vote for.
I know many here will think we should all be telling it loud and proud, but my own approach is to be alert for any crack in the foundation where I can subtly try to drop a thought or idea that has a chance to provoke thought.
College town in CT in an off campus neighborhood. Everyone here pretty much gone. We’re the lunatic right wing boomers to them. Progressive mayor, all in on green. Most here gone forever, town wide. DiLauro, Murphy and Blumenthal all heroes. All our families, except us, vaccinated, boosted and undeterred by the morbidity rate. They still think spouse anon and I are dangerous with some thinking we should be in a camp or somehow quarantined. They’re undeterred in their open acceptance of CNN even now. I do notice that many seek their cell phones and begin scrolling during any discussions like a pacifier; right out of HG Wells. I don’t know what would shake these people other than a political Red Sea event; they’re mired in twaddle like abortion is reproductive health care and carrying a child to term is government mandated pregnancy.

As a CT resident, caught behind “enemy lines” as-it-were, I ask myself that question quite often. I hate to admit, but it truly feels hopeless here in CT.
I read the first 30 of these thoughtful and well written comments and felt compelled to quickly share tonight my personal experience engaged in a lifetime in sales. What I describe below is ONLY effective in face-to-face encounters. On line persuasion is not my area of expertise. I will leave the online persuasion skills to others especially Sundance. I will also expand more on this tomorrow.
My favorite sales book of all time is High Probability Selling by Jacques Werth. The author proves that Sales cold calling burns out salespeople. Cold Calling without a precise and quick qualifying question leads to discouragement and failure. You need to qualify your audience/prospect and cease your effort if the target cannot be sold on Trump. Find your own disqualifier quickly. I typically use “What year did WW2 end? If the prospect has no clue than I try to ask their permission to educate them in a small, quick way. Ask questions and listen carefully. This question also disarms the prospect and energizes me because after they answer (1970 rather than 1945) I know I’m dealing with someone who has very little understanding of what is really happening today and little knowledge of modern American History. Especially if the prospect is an angry Trump hater and is insulting me and/or Trump and all Trump supporters. If the encounter ends in an unfriendly manner than I maintain my enthusiasm by knowing that I was dealing with a typical, ignorant, Trump – Hating dolt that cannot be persuaded and thought WW2 ended in 1970 (very typical answer). Find your own disqualifier. Maybe “if Trump faced Putin in a presidential election could you vote for Trump?” If the answer is No then move on.

Bottom line, these people like Blumenthal and Murphy continue to secure government contracts for places like Electric Boat. Just about everyone in CT that I know works for either City, State, or Federal government in some shape or form. If you don’t, it’s extremely hard to make a living there.
Knowledge of government corruption: yes, but very few are aware of the depth of the corruption in DC.
Perception changing: Yes, specifically as an example I bring up the price of food at the grocery store and gas prices and we’re getting people killed in Ukraine since Joe took over. Did people really vote for that.
It’s hard to argue that and causes folks to think.
Comm tools: I ask people what they read or watch and I’ll tell them what I read, Treehouse. I tell them that stuff happening today , we knew about it months ago.

On the application, there was a list of questions with a Yes or No choice.
This was one of the questions: Were you at or near the Washington Capitol during the January 6th demonstration ?
I’d report that to a civil right’s attorney.
Not sure I would want to work at a company where they inquired so blatantly about my political leanings. Then, again, we need to take back these companies from the communists who are currently in control of so many.

I share a link every now and then to a Sundance article for those awake, giving people an op to sign up for the newsletter themselves. They don’t seem to want the newsletter, they’ve chosen their level of awareness and aren’t ready to go farther, one of them, and another is afraid she’ll end up on some list similar to J6 if she shares, tweets or posts anything that is too awake.

I simply really don’t have that many people I talk to on a regular basis to answer the others questions.
I do think my own perception of corruption has been awakened in that while I have always been quite cynical toward government I had no idea our country is as corrupt as it is.
There’s a meme I like to live by these days. I think we have all seen it. A man and woman are in bed, facing away from each other. Her thought bubble says, “I bet he is thinking about Lisa” or some such. His thought bubble is different in different versions depending on what the meme maker wants to convey. Sometimes it’s just, “I hope I put the lug nuts back on tight.”
But in one version, his thought bubble is, “What if that man on line at the grocery store is right?”
So I try to be that person on line at the grocery store. If I can’t do it by speaking because I am not in the mood or can’t think of a good, snarky comment to make on something in the environment to get something started, I try to do it through a shirt or hat.
I used to be a big snob about shirts and hats that had anything on them. But since Covid, I’ve been buying them up like they bars of a gold on a clearance rack. When masks were mandatory in stores, mine said “Plandemic.”
My favorite says, “Make Vaccine Makers Liable Again.” I get a few knowing glances and smiles and some odd looks and a few looks of annoyance. Sadly, no one asks what is meant by the slogan.
I have no idea how many people this might make think. Perhaps too few people understand what the word “liable” means.
All I know is that that meme inspired me to be the sort of person that causes people to lose a little sleep.

I do it all the time.
The checker tells the person who’s bill he’s just totaled, “$65” and I blurt out, “$65 for one small bag. It’s Biden’s America!” OR “I was told today Bidenomics is the latest American success story!”
In the aisles, I watch the expressions on people’s faces when they’re checking out the dozens of eggs before them, looking for a brand that’s affordable. It’s not uncommon to see them walk away, empty-handed. To those that tarry and ponder, I’ll say, “How high can we go, Joe?”
Another place –the fresh veggies and fruits.
Most of the folks that I encounter are able to ascertain that things are getting bad, but they have no details, like who is involved, what exactly is being done, where is it coming from how long has it been going on. I can share what I glean here at the Treehouse, but by the next time I see them, they have that stressed look, voicing that things are getting so bad, but it is apparent that what I have shared has not penetrated, it has not stuck, so I have to start all over again. I share the links to the Treehouse with some as I am able, hoping they will take an interest and fish for themselves, but to be honest I think that it is too hard for them to digest that our country is that embedded with deep state operatives and that it has been going on as long as it has. It seems that it is much easier for them to shake their heads, wring their hands and repeat that our country is falling apart with no specific details of exactly what is going on. They are in denial and it is safer for them in that location.
Makes you want to give up after awhile.
What you said except wanting to give up, I try not to expect, jus be happy when people finally do move forward, even an inch, everyone has their pace, stop taking their job from them ie moving themselves forward, and you won’t feel like using the failure excuse to give up.
It’s like that movie The Matrix. As soon as Biden won, Twitter suspended me until I share my cell phone ##. I joined Twitter EARLY in its life, when they didn’t ask for a phone ##. To illustrate how early I joined Twitter, I was one of the first 10 people to follow Breitbart. I ignored the request for phone ## so I’m locked out. Guess what? My insomnia went away! I had been waking up at 4 AM-ish, couldn’t fall back asleep, so I’d go on Twitter. Now I sleep much better.

My circle is so small as I’m disabled. I try to tell my kids of what is happening and some gets through but they seemed to get bored quickly. Nowadays, they listen a bit more. And they did both vote Republican. On my FB page, I’m always pushing stuff but was heavily censored during 2020. Still do it tho as there is a few who read and share and I hope that makes a difference. I spend much more time on Twitter doing the same and also sharing from Twitter to FB. I feel I was much more influential during the 2016 election. My stuff was shared so much daily, I feel Zuk silenced my voice.

Family – former Fox News junkies, got tired of the lies and nothing happening
Friends- some very aware of the corruption, some fairly aware of some corruption but more interested in social issues, some some flavor of liberal and vehemently anti Republican, even the deep state Rs, they don’t see a difference
Community- I live in a horse centered community and most all people I know participate in horse sports or run horse events. Most are very liberal, and quite a few have money, from a few million to hundreds of millions. One of the stalwarts of my local community is Jacqueline Mars, main heiress of Mars candy, a multi billionaire.
Except for the ultra wealthy, all have complained about economic issues. The price of good horses has both gone way up at the top performance level, and gotten very soft at the low or middle end. As an example, a horse that 2 years ago would sell for $65k is typically selling at 50k.
This group is also very comfortable financially so they will at more attention to social issues also. You can get their attention when you discuss economics.
All of these groups have indeed become more aware of some of the odd things going on, likeBiden getting elected without running a campaign, Trump facing endless indictments, trans ideology being pushed to the extreme. Especially women- I can get a zinger in about women being erased by men who are better at being women, or why do men keep taking honors meant for women.
Now that Biden’s corruption has become common knowledge, it’s an easy shot to say, why is a Trump indicted and under all kinds of investigations whereas Biden is not under investigation at all.
What communications are needed- sound bites. Memes. Short videos with links in the description part of the page. Instagram videos.
I know very few people who will devote even a half hour/hour to a video. Punch in the idea, back it up with pictures and voiceovers, and above all make it humerus. Poke fun at the deep state whilst getting in the jabs.
People who are too serious are ignored, both left and right. Humor and a short bit sharp message is key.
Libs love to think of themselves as “people with manners and great taste.” LOL. Trump’s vulgarities are one big reason they can’t stand him . He’s too raw and honest for them.
Now that we know Joe’s grown daughter said that “Yes, that laptop was mine” we can feel free to tell people “Old Joe showered with his little daughter and she started hiding from him when he came home at night, hoping that if he didn’t immediately see her, he wouldn’t come and get her to shower with him.”
We can say, “Man, that old perv, can you believe it? What he did to his daughter? God only knows what he might have done to son Hunter. He comes from a long line of lying Irish con men, liars, and grifters.”

it is very important to scale up the SUNLIGHT APPARATUS TO A WIDER AUDIENCE.
but there is a limit…and an uncomfortable reality…and a solid truth.
a. the limit – some people will just never get it. “get it” can mean literally not be able to process the thing. some people do not have the personality trait to allow for ideas that run counter to former held totems. some people are creatures of social order (do not like to stand out, need to fit in, even if it means attaching to very bad ideas)
b. the uncomfortable reality – in a similar analogy to the addict, you cannot force someone to change their mind and habits. they MUST BE WILLING. This is a very interesting part of the human psyche. We often get married to very hard to manage habits and patterns. The more these same habits and patterns are relied upon to build persona, the more difficult it is to change them to something else. think of it as the ultimate risk and reward paradox….being wrong might not cost you anything…but being right (and doing something about it) can cost you much.
c. the solid truth – no leader, no inspired artist, no writer of a great book and no spiritual leader waited around for someone else to do it. They understood the moral responsibility of their talents and then proceeded to push. Eventually the ideas and the work gets noticed because IT IS RIGHT…it is interesting…it has meaning…it has value. So waiting for the crowd to respond before moving forward is always a bad idea. For leaders…for the few…the brave..the weird ..the enigmatic..and the morally righteous committed person. Be different! and don’t wait for someone else to do something. Just make it happen in your own way.
these are my own opinions. I pray over these matters each day…that the few, the men and women of this nation who understand their roles, that was gifted to them BY GOD, will organize their efforts and LEAD!
noting: voting is the least effective political action a human being can perform. we are asking the wrong people to fix problems. DC will never solve the problems of this nation. There is too much institutionalized conflicts of interests for DC politicos to make the kinds of changes that THE PEOPLE DEMAND!

You just never know, you might be the person who changes that one other person’s mind who is a spitfire.
That person runs and changes their community. What part did you have? You didn’t wait for some other person, you had influence in one mind.

A lot of people voted for Joe because they hated Trump. They’ve never really analyzed why it is that they have a hard time separating their dislike of some of Trump’s personality traits from his successes in making America stronger financially and physically.
Yet, they like to think of themselves as logical.
What I have run into is that I can only talk in depth with like minded people. I’m not a good enough conversationalist to engage a lefty in political discussion. As has been stated on this site, to be a democrat means that you chose not to know things. Even though they can see higher food, fuel, insurance, housing, everything, they refuse to see the cause of it. They just except that it’s just the way things are, orange man bad. Even though their gut instinct is telling them that President Trump is being persecuted, their head is saying to them, orange man bad.
There is a divide and for a lefty to have a change of heart, something personal has to happen to them, something so profound that it pulls down their blinders, unfortunately, it’s usually a tragedy. I don’t know what it would take for me to pull down my blinders and become a lefty.

I think the average knowledge is limited. There is an awareness today politicians are corrupt, but it is embedded in our culture and stories that we most can’t imagine a way without the corruption. And often it is “the other” side that is corrupt.
My perception has become more nuanced in recent years.
Communication in simple terms, clean imagery, and bite sized nuggets that can raise a question enough for a person to read more or engage in a longer discourse is needed. I think a greater awareness of the uniparty and two tier justice is an easy entry point for the reluctant.

Family – Well above average. Includes most in-laws, including siblings’ in-laws.
Friends – varies. Some are stuck in blissful ignorance, others are long-awakened. The ignorant ones are unfortunately being canceled by the awakened. Canceling works both ways.
Community – Better than average and improving. Ex: Realization that DeSantis is a poser. There are still some who long for the old days of Bush-Clinton fakery, but they’re mostly older and dying off.
Broader community – Getting religion. When entire diversity departments are being let go from universities and businesses (which MSM never discusses), it signals something big is happening.
There are college and university administrations under heavy fire from newly formed alumni associations that are withholding or redirecting donations until woke nonsense is removed from campus.
People are realizing entities like BlackRock and executives like Larry Fink are akin to tracking dog-poop into your home or business. Suddenly something smells, the realization happens, and BlackRock is reduced to running syrupy ads on Fox News.

The broader awakening starts by seeing the puppet strings for the first time and being unable to unsee them. From there, some are starting to see that root causes matter. It’s most noticeable in conversation and alternative media where I’m hearing / seeing the term ‘uniparty’ with much greater frequency. I first heard that term here while lurking some number of years ago.
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
There are more tools needed than I can think of, but here’s what I have.
· Create a “Kilroy was here”-type meme to trigger lefties and the ignorant, while concurrently motivating the MAGA / patriotic movement, much like Pepe the Frog did in 2016. In fact, more than one meme might be fun too. Nobody memes like our side. Humor is contagious and encourages word-of-mouth and mobile device sharing. I know young people share this stuff all the time.
· Content creators and messengers need to be protected to always keep multiple lines of development and transmission in play. Keep certain communications off-line and away from government intercepts. Resurrect certain tradecraft to help move messages securely AND promptly. There are plenty of people who can and will help do this.
· Throw sand in the IC data collection machinery by using Yankee ingenuity. (Deliberately not providing specific examples. Figure it out. It’s not tough. Anyone can do it).
· Training modules to help the newly awakened:
o Differentiate between symptoms and root causes
o Stay focused on addressing root causes / seeing puppet strings
o Do what they’re best at and let others do what they’re best at
More people know the country is on the wrong track. So that means more people are better at distinguishing between right and wrong. The rationalizations for the country’s mortal sins are being swept away, and the Sodom and Gomorrah / Democrat and RINO people are worried about their very existence.
So, you’re right that communication will become increasingly important. So too will be the actions taken to fight communication interference, and the actions taken to move toward our objective.
Fled WA state 12years ago for SC. My circle is very aware. Looking for leadership. I talk to people all the time in the grocery store about the impact of illegal immigration and the economy. Some already know the levers in place. A few seem to spark well to some seeds planted. I am saddened to see too much apology for supporting Trump and faith he can win. We are made up of 30% ideologues on the left and 30% of ideologues on the right. Outside of that the 40% of the public that we associate with cannot name names of entities such as Brookings Institute, Lincoln Project, Atlantic Council or Herritage Foundation. Their awareness does not include the government marriage between these think tanks and lobbies. They cannot name the names of who is who in the zoo and that does not allow them to see push-pull and controlled opposition. Awareness of abusive relationship with government amounts to shaking of the head, but the upside of stability linked to 401ks allows them their tolerance of the abuse. How to fix it? Gateway drugs of media: CTH, Warroom, Gateway Pundit, ZeroHedge, Epoch Times. Legitimacy of opinions. Unfortunately, we need mainstream people who are willing to nuke themselves by being brilliant and willing to influence truth and principles as a forcing function on the rest of mainstream opinions. Sound of Freedom is a beautiful example. The 40% need to become aware of Alinsky tactics being used on them everyday. Text and share the articles and have hard conversations with a functional delivery. Name names.

As for the other two questions, I can’t really say what others know, but their perceptions have overall slowly changed toward “reality”. My approach is just to offer my opinion and the facts that I have based it off to others and let the chips fall where they may. For example, from the first week I stated my opinion on the vax and origin and have been proved right … with lots of people acknowledging those calls, some ruefully. I just try to present the facts w/o being political and let people decide for themselves which candidates or Party best aligns with reality.
Most of my friends know the depth of despair our country is in and we don’t have to talk about it anymore. Most family members know something is not right with the country but no details except for the obvious gas, groceries, the border and indictments they feel are wrong but don’t really follow.
I think people will only wake up when their local news reports more of the truth in a deeper more serious way. Also, too many people are still in the mind set of coming in or home and turning on the 6:00 p.m. news, cable or local and that’s what they continue to hear day in and day out even though they know things are not right. Old habits are hard to break unless you really want to.
I live in a very blue state in a very blue county, but fortunately I’m blessed with a lot of conservative friends, many of whom are awake, though perhaps not fully. We often marvel at the number of people we know who have no sense of how surreal everything is. They seem to have an impenetrable normalcy bias.

Spiritually speaking, 2027 seems to be more and more in the random news and christological prophesies have pointed to that year. I don’t know what that means but I do think it is real.
My family and friends cringe when I get that look on my face when I hear something on the news or come out of my office after reading something Sundance has just posted and I start about how unconstitutional, unlawful or any other UN.
My flag has been flying upside down since the first indictment-everyone who drives or walks past sees it and when they look at it funny or ask why, I happily explain that our country is in distress and every good American should be flying a flag upside down. that gives way to more conversations.
During the first indictment, I stood for 3 hours at a very busy intersection close to home and held a sign that read, “if they can do this to Trump, What will they do to you?” Make a sign on poster board, go to the closest busy intersection near your home and hold that baby high!
Not one of us can change anything on a national level. ALL POLITICS IS LOCAL-you work like hell on your corner of this street and then fan out from there.
The most effective means of communication is face-to-face, one person at a time. There’s no shadow banning, fact checking or censoring when you are one-on-one. then, encourage that person to do the same.

I am among two groups…normal citizenry and veterans. Veterans (older) for the most part are keenly aware of the politic depth of corruption. The citizenry know that we have problems but don’t know the seriousness or what is causing it.

My family are mostly educated people who have been immersed in the mainstream media and the leftist direct propaganda that passes for an education. A few of them have decided that corruption in Government is everywhere, but they refuse to believe anything can or ever will be done about it. They don’t even vote anymore. Most have never had enough interest in the political world to really care, and the buy into the tropes that diversity is a strength, equity is a virtue, and that people should just believe what the Government tells them. The last of these is where I just can’t fathom how far people can be pushed before they will even question what they are being told. I can’t convince any of my relatives that the pandemic was mostly a political construct because all of them outside my immediate household went to Walgreens and took their vaccines and boosters. I believe that most of the tactics outlined in “Rules for Radicals” work very well on the vast majority of people. These tactics work great for the radical until the only place the finger can point is at them. Most of all, most people never want to hear that they have been overwhelmed by propaganda, even when they know it has happened. It admits to intellectual failure and that is a very bad pill for most people to swallow. They have to be shown an alternative that allows them to escape without humiliation.
The community around me is all over the place and can only be disturbed by seeing senseless violence and crimes on their TVs and cell phones. They even drive badly because they are hopelessly addicted to their cell phones. An effective approach will take this into account. Nobody likes to feel humiliated and their votes will reflect that.
I have a long way to go with the Collectivists in my own family and in my own neighborhood. Whatever tools we get should include how to bring people along quickly without humiliating them.
I already answered the questions but wanted to address even deeper, the “Community” aspect. The community I live in is 75% 80+ year olds. People are dropping dead left and right here and majority were vaxxed b/c they were of the generation that trusted their doctors. So when a healthy 83 year old, (who was vaxxed – daughter is sales rep for pharmaceutical company), was diagnosed with breast cancer, my friend who is 100% knowledgeable of what’s been going on didn’t even want to mention the cause may have been the vax so as not to make her 83 year-old friend worry. She died this past Wednesday.
And 87 year-old suddenly came down with uterine cancer and again my friend did not want to worry HER friend by mentioning anything about the vax. She died last Saturday. Both these women, whom I did not know but were friends of my friend, ended up developing respiratory problems which ended up killing them, rather than the cancers.
Another 72 year old vaxxed man, developed melanoma, and died last Saturday as well from respiratory problems. The friends who are knowledgeable and knew this man, said they never once brought up the possibility of the vax.
I just find it perplexing that the ones who are knowledgeable are either too fearful or ‘too polite’ to ask these dying people if they’ve considered their conditions may have been due to the vaxes and boosters!! I just don’t understand this mentality at all from the ones in the know. If they’d at least brought this up, the vaxed ones, I think, would at least share and discuss this with their loved ones so that word got around to stay away from any and all injections. Yet, they silently stood by, seemingly knowing the cause of these people’s plight, yet didn’t want these people to THINK!

She brought up the subject of car insurance so I calmly told her about all the illegals they are bringing in and since we’re a sanctuary state our rates are high. I have 10 siblings. 3 of us are very awake and knowledgeable. 2 are awake but passive. 6 are cuckoo liberals. There is no waking them up. Most of the liberals in my family live in the northeast. The reason my family knows is that I share articles, headlines and memes with them. I use an email list to share the info. My husband is on it, but he really won’t read it. With him, I need to send texts of links to articles.

Like minded colleagues I can send that info to personal emails. Nothing goes out over company email.
I find talking to people you know, who have some faith in your knowledge and judgement is best.

My family is aware of the corruption and consequences because oi what is happening although a brother and a sister took the shots. Their doctor advised them it was safe and a doctor wouldn’t lie???
My in laws are another story. They vote Republican but don’t get involved in politics or political discussions. All are still working and don’t have time. Most took the jab and we don’t discuss it. They tried hard to get me and the wife to take it but before it caused a divide in the family we came to a mutual agreement that it was a personal decision and do what you want.
All my friends and church family are on board with conservatives and we share posts and blogs, including many Sundance posts that I send out. We are lucky that we live in a very red conservative area of the Texas hill country around Fredericksburg. We also believe our Texas elected officials are RINO’s both state and federal. They just impeached AG Ken Paxton and we are not happy. Many emails and calls going to our Gov, Lt Gov, Rep and Sen. They better find him not guilty when the trial happens soon in the Senate.
My state, smack dab in the middle of the 48, seems to be firmly in the MAGA camp. But we reside in the eastern big city which is democrat controlled whether you live in the city or county as I do. My family is split maybe 35 MAGA and 65 lib. The Treehouse has been my guide since ’15 or ’16. Not only Sundance but all who comment point me to amazing articles and podcasts and clips. I’m more aware of BS now, my sister and 3 daughters, not so much. As far as communication in the future with everything electronic being compromised, I’m thinking along the lines of scouts sending messages from one group of Patriots to another. This is the actual question. Most people are too busy trying to make it through the week, so would need to be short, pointed information. Most folks either won’t go deep, or just dont have the time.
My family sees the corruption, but believes if Trump wasn’t so caustic, he would have been more successful. There is a purposeful denial of widespread government corruption that feeds into their comfort level of existence. Nieces and Nephews graduated from college 15 years ago and still hold the “conservatives are the devil” mantra, while their parents have always been conservatives.
I come from a big family and can confidently say that the majority of my siblings and their children are tuned in to the gravity of our situation in the US & world as well as grounded in faith in our loving Savior. I have 5 young kids and an early distaste for social media coupled with several busy years and living abroad has seen me become isolated from former friends. New friends have come through the kids’ school – a local Christian school – and these friends are of mixed awareness – some are currently becoming more aware and some seem completely content not being aware.
These years have been so eye-opening for me – I grew up listening to Rush and following the news – but these last three years have really opened my eyes and I have been in pursuit of more and more answers – I’ve long been grounded in a daily habit in the Scriptures – but I have been trying to sort out who the nefarious ‘they’ is – and this community at CTH has helped immensely (though I am relatively new here). In my community, however, I have been quite disappointed at the unwillingness to see and hear…at first I was waiting for more to wake up to what was happening with the pandemic and then the election – some have to some degree but many of those around me at the school and at our church buy in to the woke nonsense, the climate change nonsense, the equity nonsense,… – and this is what is so hard for me to rectify – to have the body of Believers with the power of the Spirit and the Truth – and not see or not decipher what is a lie from the great deceiver and what is Truth.
But what have I done? As I seek information I spread what I find – always to my family – and I have taken a few opportunities to try to spread it at my kids’ school as well – to the administration – and at school board meetings. It is so strange to me to be in a community of Believers who seem not to have ears to hear…or eyes to see the Truth in front of us. I’m afraid I need to find more boldness and courage to address more strangers in my community because as Sundance wrote here – none of us will get to avoid this one – either we speak up now with the risk of being taken down or we will be taken down anyway.
For a long time, my trumpet was loud. Now not so much. The Karen pejorative being used by people on both sides of the political aisle has taken a toll on what was an outgoing, personable, confident person and turned me into meek shell of who I was. One thing that is still me is the disgust I have for ketchup.
The people in my circle are so busy working and raising their kids or taking care of their elder parents that they do not have time or want to make time to learn about anything in the realm of politics. I would try to discuss things I learned about bills being brought up for a vote, laws recently passed or exposed unethical behavior by some politician and no one cared. I cannot talk politics or current events with anyone but my husband.
I have always been cynical about how our government officials and others in government operate so for me no, my perception has not changed. Maybe it has for my family and friends, but I wouldn’t know because most of my family and friends shunned me, my husband and two of our three kids because we refused to be inoculated with the covid jab. A few have apologized but the relationships are not the same.
I will occasionally talk to people in line at the grocery store, but I find myself doing that less and less because people’s faces reveal a lot and people faces are telling me they do not wish to engage in any conversation.

People go about their lives, and to make things flow smoother generally do not bring up politics. But when there is a discussion most people I know understand that the level of corruption is unprecedented, and the feeling is virtually unanimous that the country is headed in the wrong direction.
There’s a checkout lady at Shoprite who watches Newsmax, there’s the son of a friend who is no longer proud of his country. There’s my snow plower who is a Democrat, but when I brought up the BS factor in electric vehicles he was totally in agreement, and then I clinched it by saying “These things are destroying the country. I would never vote for anyone who supports these policies”. His reaction was being visibly stunned, he had nothing to come back with.
Peter tells us to have our answers seasoned with salt. That’s what we have to do to pierce the veil of false normalcy that keeps awareness down.

Even those who try to ignore current events and just live their best life are commenting regularly about how things seem to be more and more dysfunctional and how poorly the country is run. It would be nice if someone would compile a list that is constantly updated with examples of corruption by the Uniparty and Deep State that can be used as a resource for those who have some influence with others. Like others here I believe that planting seeds is the best way to change minds. Charging head on usually results in people shutting down. I like to start by asking people what they think about a situation and move on from there. I want to know where their head is at before getting into more serious conversation. If they don’t seem to care about current events I just move on to the weather. I am fortunate in that I am somewhat of an influencer to friends and family, and some of them are significant influencers in the community. My goal is to change the minds of those influencers who care about my opinion in hopes that they will go out and do the same with their wider group. This tactic has been fairly successful in the last few years, and if enough people can influence the influencers we may make some positive change happen. At least that is my hope.

My personal experience and observation is first that God answers prayer. When Trump was first elected, my prayer was that through him, God would reveal the scale of corruption we were facing. I had no idea that it was this bad. In retrospect, I should have seen it. I knew quite well how the truth of the Scriptures was being attacked, a process that started in earnest towards the end of the 19th century. I remember in the 1970’s attending a main line large church on Easter because of the music being performed and coming away in shock that the sermon never said that Christ had risen from the dead. Apparently to avoid causing too much trouble, the preacher never specifically denied it, just omitted it.
There are three main reasons people do not acknowledge the corruption that is being exposed. First, there are some who simply cannot see it. They cannot connect the dots, and do not comprehend mathematical probabilities. Sometimes this comes across as naivety. The con knows how to pretend, and gets away with it. There is another group that simply does not want to believe the scale of corruption is possible. “I can’t believe it could be this serious,” results in “then I won’t believe it.” The third group that refuses to acknowledge the corruption are those who are in on it.
The prayers that God would expose it have been answered in ways that are more than we could ask or imagine.
What communication tools do we need going forward? The math of the checkerboard is instructive. If one grain of rice is placed on the first square, 2 on the second, 4 on the third, and doubling each time, by the 64th square the world has not produced enough rice to meet the requirements. If I can explain things to tw people, and being convinced,they explain it, each to two more, my efforts get multiplied exponentially. What is my sphere of influence? Whose eyes can I open? Who will listen to me? Again, God answers prayer, and he listens to his people. That is where we must start, and we must ask that the same Lord who has revealed the corruption in so many ways will now also bring down the whole cabal. Then on to asking, Lord, what do you want me to do? It is easy to talk to the like minded. To talk to others to help them see, ask questions. The most important questions are about our relationship to our God.
On a macro level, in view of the latest indictments, Trump’s lawyers are asking that the trial be televised. Not the worst idea, and not the best. What would happen if the depositions of defense witnesses were recorded and edited for broadcast at the same time as say, a debate? Hostile witnesses, like Bill Barr could be confronted with the evidence he tried to cover up or ignore. Depositions aren’t done in open court or in front of the judge. To combat the lies of the leakers, publicly broadcast the testimony of the truth.
Average knowledge of corruption for people in my orbit: other than friends relatively low. I work at a big corporation and my colleagues generally think technocracy is a good thing, I’m definitely an outlier in that group. My family is mainly apolitical, meaning they normally ignore the government until they need something from it. Most of them don’t need anything from it at the moment so they are oblivious to the reality.
Everyone I know who does have a sense of what is happening is much more aware now than prior to 2020. You can suspect a fox when you lose a hen here and there, you may even be fortunate and find signs of his theft. But when you shine a light on him you remove all doubt. In 2020 the fox got the light shined on him.
For more people to know what I know the information needs to be in a form more readily digestible, let’s just call it well chewed. Unfortunately many people are not willing to read nor to take time to study things, it needs to be spoon fed for them and given in small amounts. Video under 2 minutes. Memes are good for morale amongst those of the faith but don’t work well to spread the faith. Of course there is no substitute for the written word but considering it is the easiest to censor new forms of dissemination will be needed to combat increased censorship.
I walk in three worlds.
In one world there are ‘barkers’ who call out to the masses to witness the illusions. They are telling everyone not believe what their eyes are seeing, believe only what you’re told you are seeing. Their callings are amplified on radio, television, computer media, cellular media. Relentless, unrelenting screaming and lies.
In another world are those who are locked into their dopamine loops, who are addicted to their streaming devices, who cannot avert their eyes or attention from screaming regime propaganda blasting at them through every media device around them. They have surrounded themselves, insulated themselves, narcotized themselves with propaganda media. There is no chance of breaking through to them. Their minds have been captured and turned.
Wait until they’ve missed three meals, have no electricity to power their dopamine generators and revert to subhuman survival instincts.
In another world are those with minds opened, eyes in reality. They are not influenced by the streaming media propaganda. They use devices. but are not slaves to them. They are preparing themselves, their families, their communities for the struggles ahead. They pray vigorously and sincerely.
We, are united in spirit, mind and mission. Truth is getting harder to find. Every where it erupts it’s beaten down and obscured behind facades of screaming lies streaming, blaring from the first world ‘influencers’ pushing illusions and lies. Obedient servants for their powerful lords & masters who promise them fame and riches for their services.
By now, those who are aware, awake, mindful are ferreting out truths hidden by the relentless barrages of lies bombarding us daily. When we meet, we know we’ve met and take strength in our numbers and our community.
We see the strings, we notice the props being moved on the stages, we hear the scripted dialogues.
We know they hate us and want us dead and will murder us at first opportunity. And they’re brazen in admitting this truth above others.
They believe the lies they’re told, the lies they’re retelling and are willing to murder anyone who disagrees. History has proven this for two thousand years. We are history in making. We are not exceptions.
That’s simple to see and understand. Once we accepted those facts, another veil was pulled away and sunlight streamed in, illuminating reality being obscured by the pretending’s.
Choose your confidants wisely. Trust, but verify.
I am a long time reader of the treehouse, never commented. However, I am compelled to respond. I am a seventy year old retired man that has worked his entire life as a blue collar worker. I have been working my whole life in the great state of Alabama. We grew up poor, but, never lacked for anything. I was taught about truth, and doing what was right. I was raised in the United Methodist Church. At the time, as any youth, I was not appreciative of the knowledge gleaned. God has blessed me continuously! I have survived death so many times that I have lost count! On May 5th I had open heart surgery, aortic valve replacement, and three bypasses. By the grace of God, and many prayers, I am here to testify that God is good, and will answer your prayers! This site gives me the manna that I need. Sundance, you are the most important man besides Donald J Trump that I know of! You are so correct about not letting the negativity bring you down. Be happy, and live your best life! Glad to hear you are doing good after surgery. Had the same procedure in 2012. Double bypass and aortic valve also. Now 78 and doing OK. Probably don’t take care of myself like I should but I do the best I can. God has given me the opportunity to live and learn in these last 11 years and I try to spread the Sundance truths as much as possible. Wear a cap that says “God-Guns-Trump “ and get positive comments every day. Never once had a negative comment about it but I live in a very conservative part of Texas. Most of us are ready for whatever comes next because of our faith and trust in God. I spread the faith first and the message of Trump comes up after that.
A stranger, very conservative, that I met in the barbershop a few weeks ago said something is going to happen soon that will be positive for us conservative believers. Wouldn’t say what it was but just told me I would like it. The way he said it and his body language said he wasn’t lying. I hope so.
May God continue his healing of your heart and make sure you do the rehab they want you to do after open heart surgery. It really helps.

I see and hear a small change from liberal family and friends. They make sarcastic quips about the high price of food and gas, also about the increase in crime. But not one will link it to the current government. They probably know the truth but it’s too much for them to come to terms with, they’ve enabled so much evil. They all still dislike Trump because that’s all they see on the fake news they watch. One of my good friends, perfectly healthy, a nurse, fully vaxed and boosted was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, will be lucky to live another 6 months, just turned 51. Another friend perfect health, vaxed, in the ER twice in last two weeks, so sick can’t hardly walk, cause undetermined. I don’t know but I think most people have their heads in the sand and are in for a very traumatic awakening.

So I’m going to focus on question no. 3, which boils down to what, exactly, can be done about it? What “communication” tools are needed or would be of value?
I’m getting ready to enter my seventh decade, and I’ve been a staunch naturalist, realist, honest, hard-working, God-fearing conservative for just about the entire time, just like everybody who visits this site.
But I got no trumpet. None whatsoever. At least not one that is listened to. With respect to political persuasion, I’ve made no “influencer” type of impact at all on my left-leaning family members, friends, co-workers and neighbors. They’re all set in their ways. I was a lawyer for much of my adult life, and I could surely influence in court, but that of course is different.
Unfortunately, and I really hate to say this, but our side needs previously unheard-from celebrities, movie stars, and sports stars to come over to our side and start blasting on THEIR trumpets. They have big ones. That are heard.
Rush Limbaugh had one, as we know. Notice how America and the world have gone to hheell in a hand basket since he left us? Me too.
Joe Rogan is starting to come around, though he’s been extremely hesitant based on his own personal political beliefs. But if he has Trump on his show, and is then attacked mercilessly by the left — which he will be — he may just come all the way around to our side. That would of course help. A lot.
But I’m also talking about people like Joe Burrow of the Bengals, Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs, F1’s Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing. Taylor Swift. I have no clue what their politics are (though I can guess), and they may all be very secure in staying the hheell out of things, where life is much more pleasant and “lovely,” but we need people like these folks, who truly have the ability to influence their fans, to wake up and see that we’re going to lose this country, and potentially lose all of humanity, if we do defeat the leftists-globalists-communists (call them what you like).
About 2023 years ago there was a man called Jesus. No cars, no highways, no internet, no smart phones, no AI. Dare I say he changed the world? How did He do it?
Wayne Allen Root says Trump’s the second coming, the chosen one, with God on his side, and he may be right. But Sundance is also right — Trump needs some trumpets. Some loud ones. Unfortunately, there are not many people on this earth who have them. I think we all need to pray that God sends a few messages to those trumpeters to start playing like they’ve never played before.

That’s his source of news. That will always be his level of “current events” info.

Kind of kind and dried but here are my answers:
Q1. Close to zero. One of the few I could talk to regarding this question committed suicide in March. Still wrapping my entire being around that event. It is bizarre to me that my two sisters still do not understand just what I did for a living as an Inspector General employee for just short of twenty five years.
Q2. If their perception is heightened it is pretty clear to me no one is willing to talk about their perceptions changing. Lest they get a bashing for going against the grain.
Q3. Don’t really know. But some suggestions are to indict the New York Slimes (NYT), the Washing Machine Post, the World Death Organization, the Criminal Death Corporation in Crimes Against Humanity.

My family knows because we talk about it every day. I pass on Treehouse articles to my dad and kids and we discuss. My friends know because we have an ongoing group chat where articles and memes are shared regularly and discussed. My community (rural western KY, James Comer is my house rep) knows a lot, probably not as much as treepers but we are R +27 and there is talk of Comer getting primaried from the right. Unfortunately we have not been able to get rid of the McConnell establishment in the local Republican Party. They despise their right flank and so the party is dead. Everyone has really had their eyes opened since Trump was elected and the corruption started coming to light. The ongoing coup has been the most enlightening. No idea how to affect more change.
