The absolute #1 feedback CTH receives both publicly and privately, even by those who hold tremendous influence amid what we would call the body politic, is something akin to … “I need to be honest with you, I thought you were nuts, but wow, you were right!” – or some version or iteration therein.
That said, there is a great urgency needed in our communication with our family, friends, loved ones and overall community.
There are many conservative ushers, many paid for their job in the business theater of politics, who would prefer we do not question our seating assignment – let alone challenge the scripted performance we are told to watch on the stage. Understanding this facet is going to become increasingly important, as the specific people who control the mechanisms of power become ever more exposed.
A comment by Gemstone is well timed, and actually aligns with a current communication question I am seeking to solve. I also remind myself that when I find difficulty in solution, you guys – the smartest and most aware group of our nation – always have exceptional insight that can help me. Here’s the comment:
…”Sundance, When I attempt to inform the not so informed around me with the information that I read every morning on your pages I receive looks of “no way”, “seriously”, and “why is this the first time that I am hearing about this corruption”. I don’t know how people can be so ill informed. Well, we know as it is easier for Americans to keep this corruption at arm’s length until if finally slaps them upside the head.”… [link]
My questions:
♦ What is the average knowledge of the scale of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past few years? Why?
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
Trust me when I say this discussion, while extremely important now, is going to become even more important in the next 12 months.
I am distinctly aware, perhaps uniquely aware of the information control actions that will take place in 2024.
They will be very intense and very targeted.
In 2020, they locked down voters to create the mechanism of control (ballots). In 2024, I can already see the control approach looming; they will lock down voices. Very specific voices.
If you are a regular reader of this site, you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. Meaning, you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence.
The challenge is getting those who understand the big picture dynamics to stop being comfortable and sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”. Most people are still clinging to beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to national leadership writ large. We need to change that thinking quickly – or we will be left explaining ‘what happened’ far too late.
There is also a major issue with conservative “ushers” guiding the audience into a state of tactical numbness. A willful blindness within part of the American electorate, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unconstititional actions we are seeing on a daily basis.
It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of, “I can’t see what’s happening”, because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate. “I can’t see it”, just doesn’t cut it.
It’s more along the lines of, “I see what’s happening, but it’s scary and complicated and confusing, and if I admit that I see it, I will become responsible in a way that I am not if I keep pretending; I can’t see it or hear it, or maybe I don’t understand it.”
Why don’t we dare say what is so? Are we a bit afraid that if we give up the willful blindness we will perhaps start screaming and not be able to stop? Do we think we have so little courage? Do we really believe that we have no resources to bring to the battle? Or nothing more to contribute to the turning of the battle?
There are patriots who some might say resemble one of those slightly mad orchestra conductors who keep yelling, “More trumpet! More TRUMPET!” Many of you are such slightly mad orchestra leaders. Do not be alarmed by some of the strange looks you are getting these days.
My questions:
♦ What is the average knowledge of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past several years?
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
Trust me when I say this discussion, while extremely important now, is going to become even more important in the next 12 months.

Send people links to anything relevant you find. Very tough to start people in the middle if they haven’t been paying attention up till now. It overwhelms them. But just keep dribbling stuff at them. It’s amazing how much they will absorb in their own time. I always know I’m doing good when they start sending stuff back to me that I sent them. That means they’re sending it out to other people and forgot where they got it in the first place
Which is exactly what I’ve been doing to several of my friends and family. My best friend of 45 years absolutely couldn’t believe that partial birth abortion really happens. After sending her a few articles on the subject she was shocked and horrified. The same goes for schools hiding their insidious agenda of “transitioning” kids without parental consent. She couldn’t possibly believe that it was happening. After a few great articles she has come to realize that yes, the communist have infiltrated the schools and are going after our kids.
With my mostly Democrat family in Illinois it is the same, just a few great articles outlining the Dem policies that are destroying that particular state. It’s certainly not hard to find those.
I do, however, choose very carefully the articles I send. Trust me it’s hard to discern which articles and which facts best pertain to each individual. I would love nothing more than to bombard them with everything but I know then that they would just start ignoring me.
Here is a great story that is one year old but can be used to explain this current “heat wave” the media is turning into a Climate Change apocalypse story.
“What NASA and the European Space Agency are admitting but the media are failing to report about our current heat wave (bumped)” ~ The American Thinker July 31, 2023
Forgive me for not posting the direct link. I haven’t quite figured out how to that on my tablet. I’m working on it.

Thank you LittleFeet!
Thank you for the article, it’s very eye-opening. Did you know that we are in a Grand Solar Minimum (mini-ice age) which increases volcanic activity?
Be careful though. Some of the “public” mail servers apply filters.
I’ve sent links to my brother in law, in the past, at his old gmail and hotmail account that were filtered. The link was put into a “holding tank”. You could see the page, but the links out of it were all broken.
Researching this, I found that that many sites use “malware” and “bad manners” filtering… Microsoft operates one of them. Since I own and operate (actually I pay someone to operate it for me, but I configure it ) my own mail server, I played around with the available settings. The “safe” browsing settings push in those filters and then you quickly realize that those filters are a lot more than they seem to be.
If you use the Internet, refuse the “safe” browsing filters… Run your own filters ( mailwasher ) and learn to avoid mail tools that make it easy.
There are many people using the Internet very casually ( Social Media) and they have no clue how it works. These are the people who are being controlled, THIS IS HOW THE GOVERNMENT CONTROLS THE FLOW OF DATA IN THE INTERNET: By making use of the Internet “easy”.
Get it?
See it?
I’d hope that this site would at some point research this, because the rise of Social Media coincides with The Obola Administration.
In particular, what really pisses me off is how they are twisting email. This one really bugs me, as I’ve been on the Internet since DARPA net. And we worked hard to make it a free and open medium. To see HTML twisted is one thing, I can bypass it… even to see DNS corrupted is OK, I can use IP addresses, but to corrupt the mail servers is full blown illegal.
At some point, we must be ready to learn how to use the Internet without HTML and DNS. Go back to the pre ’95 days. Learn how to communicate with simple text tools. How to use VPNs and encryption.
We might need it.
So, tell your family, friends about this.
Also, you should get Signal, for end-to-end encrypted texts. There is no censoring.
These are the people who are being controlled, THIS IS HOW THE GOVERNMENT CONTROLS THE FLOW OF DATA IN THE INTERNET: By making use of the Internet “easy”.
1,000 likes for the above – making it all “easy” –
IOW, dependent –
like giving up driving and losing one’s confidence, ultimately –
someone was quote here I think and I regret I don’t have the person’s name, but they said that our fellow citizens themselves are helping to bring about “1984” because they want to be able to ask Alexa if it’s okay for their dog to eat cake.
I agree. I send out to over 50 “others” certain articles they will probably not hear discussed on MSM or say Bloomberg—I do this each day and they love it! ‘Cause I get comments in return and questions. I do this because we have been lied to so much that I feel I must counter the narrative and allow them to THINK with their gut!
Leftists/Democrats are not going to change, at least not the far left/committed 25%. That describes my family.
I think, though, that the young are more likely to change, and that targeting their demographic with memes could be useful. They are not so gullible or naive. They have not had the luxury of being raised in a comfortable society, for the most part. We should aim to communicate with them.
I am convinced there is a big group of what I call “bubble” people…people who were very indifferent or “on the bubble” since 2020…now they are becoming awake. THESE are the people we can get to. The rabid TDS/committed left/Progressives are completely brainwashed. But the “bubble people” are growing. Getting them info is crucial…timely article and ask by Sundance….thank you..
Prior to the lockdowns, most people were oblivious to politics just living their lives. Then, they found out that politics can interrupt living their lives in numerous ways. They are paying attention now. That does not mean that they are getting accurate information as to causation. Some are and some are not.
I send links. Unfortunately, those who watch TV for news are ill informed especially without Fox as a source of some truth. The more internet savvy souls are generally better informed. The best way to reach those for whom the internet is not a friendly place is word of mouth.
“Leftists/Democrats are not going to change, at least not the far left/committed 25%”
I firmly believe, and have posted it many times that Mark Twain’s statement, “ It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled.” Applies to these 25% that absolutely refuse to see what is right there in front them. The Climate Change hoax is a perfect example of this. You could provide them with exact science or absolute facts that completely destroy the Climate scare tactics and they will believe that Climate Change is the world’s deadliest threat. Those people are lost. You will never convince them they have been fooled.
That is true. Leftists consider themselves elite, and to absorb they have been duped, means they also have to admit to stupidity. No one likes to think they are stupid.
Most of my family are Trump supporters, but one of my sister’s and husband are all about “climate change” and believe they are always right. I have given up trying to make them see it otherwise. They don’t even vote.
They don’t even vote.
Count that as a blessing!
They vote, but just don’t know they voted.
Right. So continue working with the other 75% and ignore the ones gone. Let life “awaken” them. it has happened in my circle. They come back to me with “truths” and i agree with them and add a little more if possible.
Make them uncomfortable.
They can persist in their beliefs because they are comfortable there. As soon as you make it uncomfortable, they are forced to change.
It’s like a fish tank. If you watch, you’ll see one fish just enter the bubble of another fish. They won’t even have physical contact. But the “bully” fish constantly enters the bubble of the other fish until the fish feels too much strain and has to move.
We live in a fish bowl.
Here’s one of my favorites with lefties: “Joe Biden is the perfect representative of all your values: old, corrupt, pedophiles with dementia.”
Just keep dropping little gems, i.e., “Oh, thanks for that gas bill!”
Dems always, years ago, hated “the man”; i.e., the powers that be.
Why? Because, they did not like overbearing management of their lives; they wanted to be free Americans and unencumbered by seemingly arbitrary conventions, norms, rules, etc.
Now, they are implicit supporters and cheerleaders for exactly “the man” that they once reviled. Only problem is this: “the man” is not a beneficent ruler, “he” is a disparate cast of charlatans, thieves, and ideologues who serve self first–bar none. And, your garden variety lib/dem/tot is nothing but trailer trash to them. Imagine mutton chops in their living years swooning over their keepers. Yes, that’s your modern dem: somebody’s meal ticket someday.
That is my family (but for two). You can talk until you are blue in the face, provide factual info, and steer them (or try) to alternate media and it will do no good. I know my family is irreparably divided, and I strongly suspect the major of the nation (families) are same. They only thing that is going to reverse this, the “wake up call” is MSM starts to question (and I mean all-in question) things and perhaps some brave souls in the either the NYT or the WaPo go Bernstein-Woodward.
A lot of Millenials and Gen X are on iFunny and the chans. Memes of news stories hit iFunny pretty quickly.
I have begged my elitist neighbors to read the Treehouse, but they will continue to national review themselves into a pretzel. Other neighbors an retired Brigadier General specializing in AI, is hooked on npr. Were screwed. My wife, 2 daughters and I are MAGA till death.
Elites don’t like change; the status quo rewards them and feels good to them. Most will only change when absolutely forced to by other segments of society.
What I wonder is what kind of vacuum cleaner do these elites use? What kind of vacuum cleaner do they use in places like the Sea Island Resort? What kind of vacuum cleaners are used to clean the properties of people like that billionaire supporter of RDS, Robert Bigelow?
I am asking this because I am endlessly aggravated by the vacuum cleaner situation here in America and I am reminded of the destruction of American jobs, making vacuum cleaners and other things, every time I see someone like Warren Buffet, who named his company Berkshire-Hathaway after a perfectly fine textile company and hollowed out so many other communities in his greed –
but you are not supposed to think Warren Buffet is greedy because he lives in the same old house and drives the same old car.
Billionaires like Warren Buffet hollowed out America’s industrial powerhouse, rampaging through what is now called the Rust Belt. The Bush Family and NAFTA, too. All those factories “moved” to Communist China to be more profitable.
So now we get these pieces of junk that can’t be repaired, really – just buy a new one!
How is that “environmentally aware” to litter the landfills with Dyson vacuum cleaners . . . I have never bought one of those but I have been reading the reviews in my quest and the new ones aren’t the same as the old ones but are made with lots of plastic!
Okay, so what about vacuum cleaners and what does this have to do with anything in this thread. I am saying it is a conversation, one-on-one, as you go placidly and quietly – but you are at the vacuum repair store, rejoicing they can fix your old Hoover and make it run great with – they put on the two belts (which try as I might, I can’t get my fingers to do that but Joe did it in two seconds) and order a new brush (the groove where the pulley belt goes has worn down so the belt is not flush with the surface of the brush, this causes the vacuum to not pick up as well). $55.95 total.
Live your best life, as Sundance says – be happy – and give thanks for people who keep things going! Spread the word of “America First” – e.g., we need to make stuff here again!
I still would like to know what kind of vacuum cleaners they use at places like the Sea Island Resort or what kind Mr. Bigelow uses for his hotels, motels and offices.
IMO your post indicates there is a bright future ahead.
Your daughters get it!
It is primarily those over 60 that are “ set in their ways” when it comes to politics.
“ You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” comes to mind.
Our sons are in their early thirties, both are Canadian and cannot vote in your elections ( legally at least 😉)
I know several of their friends and business associates.
The ones I know despise government, none that I know of watch T.V. or are subject to the MSM.
Although they and their friends are Canadian..Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan Russell Brand etc are individuals they are very much aware of.
Whether one agrees with them or not is not the point. Collectively they have a massive following..
Just look at the reception President Trump gets at U.F.C. fights when he is in the company of the likes of Mike Tyson.
He is treated like a “Rockstar” Pence would walk in and no one would give him a side ways glance.
Cheers!
I disagree that primarily those over 60 that are “ set in their ways” when it comes to politics.”
Many young are clueless, busy (I have no time”) with work and family and will not check out things for themselves, and those who hang out with and are influenced by their clueless and ‘woke’ friends. Same for many adults. On the other hand, many are aware of problems, but are jaded and unaware of how seriously ‘still unwakened” they are about many things that affect them personally.
There are family members younger who instantly flip you off when you mentioned that reading news is important : I don’t read the news, even less now because it’s all bad news” they know generally the problems but are not informed on the wider scale of how bad everything is when they do not know the vast interconnections of mass corruption. Most consider it as politics : unimportant to their daily living: even when asked if they know whatever decisions they make concerning what affects their personal decisions in huge negative ways. Until they encounter, too late to begin asking e.g. Now we are hearing about clot shots and deaths, my 401k, my social media accounts being monitored, etc. Too little too late most of the time to help them effect solutions. I have family members who aren’t pleased because if I get arrested or attacked by people who don’t like what I post, that they may also be targeted as family members. Besides “you are old”, they tell me and “why do you care to have so much to do with politics; besides you should become an American citizen instead of always staying certified PR. At least you will be protected and be able to vote” God help me to not ever say “I told you so”.
It is futile to educate those who cling on to their emotional, cultural and on-the-surface fake news versions of how bad Orange Man is, and if he is not guilty why is he getting indicted yada yada
Jordan Peterson is paid by neocons, very willing to sneer at populists
Hello mg. My daughter and her husband are doing the same thing “…continue to national review themselves into a pretzel.” I have begged/pleaded with them to visit/read TCH; refused! Or, “we visited the site and it’s ALL about religion”; would not attempt to get past the daily read. Just one of their many comments: “Trump should be in jail.”
It is really disappointing and disheartening they are so close-minded and incapable of critical thinking skills.
They should watch the old video on youtube of Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley debating issues – Gore Vidal looks relaxed in his own skin, at ease – while William F. Buckley looks antsy as hell, very ill at ease. IMHO.
The communication tool for the mindless oafs is no running water, no electricity and no food.
Yes. Unfortunately most people have to experience it to believe it. Until then they just follow their tribal leaders.
For most, any one of those will constitute a crisis. But as a Floridian, if you don’t plan for water, food and alternate power during hurricane season, your head is deep in the sand. Typically, nobody plans for enough food, water or power to deal with what happened to the islands and mainland where Sundance lives.
100% agree
In every totalitarian regime/takeover, the “supporters” didn’t understand the threats until they had no basic anything – food, water, job, money, etc.
Also, the “supporters” were often the first to be slaughtered by their own regime if they so much as questioned why.
And that is the money comment.
It will take EXACTLY this before those who think they’ll be eaten last, if at all, understand that everything which is happening now actually has them in the crosshairs eventually.
Our country has been deliberately polarized. So much so that the chasm which separates us is unbreachable.
Those who don’t get it, are afraid to look, or simply can’t think critically absent ideologies are in for a terrible awakening.
What is planned for humanity is nothing less than complete obliteration.
Too busy living in those personal bubbles where one is comfortable-ish (for the moment)?
Still thinking it’s someone else (President Trump) feeling the full force of those jackboots, and jolly good as well?
Unfortunately there are millions who believe they are safe from what is planned for them, too.
First they came for President Trump…
How about discovering a dangerous “biolab” in one’s midst, such as the one recently discovered in Reedley, California. Prestige Biotech had this lab in Reedley at 850 “I” Street. A code enforcement officer for the City of Reedley noticed a garden hose protruding through a hole drilled in the wall, the hose laying along the ground . . . hmm!
Code enforcement officers keep a sharp eye out for such things which indicate an unpermitted use. So the code enforcement officer subsequently discovered this “laboratory” in the building – almost a 1,000 lab mice (about 200 were dead), all kinds of horrible infectious things – many boxes stacked up with shipping labels indicating they were from places in Communist China – while purportedly they were making Covid and Pregnancy tests.
This is where people will certainly be horrified to think that in their nice little town, there could be a “biolab” like this – e. coli, hepatitis, herpes, SARS/”covid” and so many other absolutely devastating kinds of pestilence.
Now a city councilman from Fresno is asking why was this lab kept a secret and the public not informed about what was there – why didn’t the Fresno County Board of Supervisors and Public Health officials not warn about this?
Okay, you think, maybe they were earnestly working to contain the situation and see where it all went, arrest the people, find out if they had other labs around the state – or the country! But no, it seems like the people went back to China, now the building is going to be demolished, don’t worry about it.
They also had PPP loans on which they defaulted but those were forgiven. WHO forgave the PPP loans?
I would think a topic like this would infuriate any normal person, doesn’t matter what party they normally vote for –
“what the hell is going on”
Floating along in the middle of a deep blue sea, it often feels like I’d get more feedback talking to the water. If anyone does listen it’s only temporary, and is typically met with the blank stare or that look (eye roll) people give when they’re about to brush off fact as only trivial “conspiracy theory.” My response has been to simply live my good life.
I’m in the same boat with the village I am surrounded by. We absolutely need More Cowbell! 😁
Don’t get into a conversation with them. Just shoot arrows.
For instance, “Oh, gee, will you look at that? Another 18 yr old who had a heart attack, and the doctors are baffled.”
Repeat that every day. It’ll be like the water-drip torture. Everybody eventually reaches their breaking point.
You don’t need to convert them. All you need to do is unravel one thread, just one, and the rest will take care of itself.
Gosh Michael, that is my approach too.
At the grocery store I will say to the stock person
“I used to drink Bud, but after the Dylan Mulvaney put down of women and Bud spokeswoman criticizing Bud customers I have to buy a non -in -bev beer.” Please help me find another beer.
I also chime in when others talk about the cruelty of lockdowns. Examples: school shutdowns, it has really hurt our children, kept them isolated, set back their progress. Who are the monsters who did this?
Dr. Fauci’s Covid dictates, isn’t he a disgusting man? He knew of and funded the gain of function experiments at the Wuhan lab. How many people died alone because of his and the medical establishment cruel policies?
Why is President Joe Biden still chauffeured in a gas powered limo? Why isn’t he chauffeured in an EV?
I have not yet gone to “two standards of justice” with some of my left leaning family but I’ll get there.
All you need to do is unravel one thread……….
Easy enough to do, except with the crowd I’m surrounded by their blinders are sewn on pretty tight. Might be cutting off circulation to the cranium…..
Going to my car at the market i passed an old black guy loading up his groceries and i said “remember when prices were so much lower for gas, food and everything like three years ago? and he said with enthusiasm OMG things were so much better then. He knew.
Sundance, thank you for all you do.
1) I think more people are beginning to wake up to everything, but being so close to the belly of the beast, just outside of the Beltway, it’s hard to see how much.
2) Direct family members are, for sure, waking up, which is good because it keeps me from having to hit them upside the head.
3) Humor is a good tool, in all it’s forms. Vids are great, obviously. That Blacks for Trump video was great.
I also stick to Gab, and check out Rumble, especially Badlands Media.
Humour is indeed powerful.
Being an individual that enjoys my A.D.D. I find bullet points extremely effective.
Wars, inflation especially food costs, energy costs, the destruction of birds via windmills, I ask them if they would fly on a transatlantic flight in a battery powered jetliner.
I enjoy the battle…smile, chuckle even.
One of President Trumps greatest attributes is his sense of humour.
Cheers!
Congrats G4E!
You’re the first poster to respond properly to Sundance’s twice-mentioned request.
🙄
“Humor is a good tool” —Guest4ever
I’ve found humor can help. In speaking with a Democrat family member, I had once mentioned I was doodling ideas for bumper stickers along the lines of “Support Your Local Criminal, Vote Democrat” – he gave a quiet chuckle and said “well… yeah….” Won’t change his vote as crime doesn’t touch his life.
My Democrat extended family think I’m loony tunes when I try to tell them they are living in a biased news bubble. They think they are the good guys, the accepting, welcoming crowd; they fully believe in climate change –and they were all triple vaxxed.
Humor/Joking doesn’t always work. For instance when hearing about a new dog in a relative’s neighborhood that he had befriended I wondered if the pup was male or female and jokingly asked its preferred pronouns. No laugh. Stony silence. Followed by a grim, stern reply.
Mostly I’ve given up with talking about politics with my whole extended family. They have retreated from me a bit due to my prior attempts to break through their propaganda bubble. But at least they’ve not yet reported me for wrong-think or right wing extremism. For now blood is thicker than water.
…………………………….
Read a poll recently that 55% of Americans are in favor of censorship. 70% Dem 39% Repub —-If true, then no wonder my talking about censorship has no impact.

Sundance, maybe once a week have a page we can print with 10 paragraphs of whats really going on in the country. We print leave them at work, doctor or dentist office, senior centers,or many others. Also need a large group of been here awhile legal immigrants that they have seen this behavior before in their hell hole countries to spread the word.
That is a GREAT idea Tom. And not some bloviating long read or opinion.
Just solid facts that all have credible sources linked to them (I have nothing against them but no infowars.com for example). Facts and sources that a reader on the bubble will pause and think about for minute, or at least, remember what they read at a later time when something triggers them to think back.
Even a weekly page of things that the Libs of Tick Tock person or whatever her handle is. She simply posts the exact quote that came out of a liberals mouth. She constantly gets shut down and cancelled even though 100% of those quotes are real, not said by her, but said by some liberal.
Yes, leaving printouts in doctors offices would work, I see some regularly.
That’s a great idea!
Yep, I print many of the articles and send to others, including our clueless, spineless, feckless “representatives” in the “commonwealth” of PA (with THE most corrupt state SC in the country…and a clinically brain-dead senator).
Many in our “circle” of friends and acquaintances ARE steadfast conservatives…NOT R’s until it’s time to vote in primaries.
The timeline articles are the best, as well as the “silo” articles. Most folks can NOT break down the details so it’s easy to understand and comprehend. The articles here are THE easiest to read and understand…even a communist democrat could understand IF he/she read this.
I have sent links to the website. It helps but my circle of maybe 150 people that I deal with already get it.
I am thinking billboards might be a good way for a quick, provocative way to advertise the CTH message. Put up a statement like the ‘third monkey’ above and tcth.com. Even better would be a big QR code that links right to CTH.
I see the young, the parents raising children, still don’t understand how important it is to vote. They don’t watch the news, and they don’t read. Terribly frustrating. And another thing I see, people my age, absolutely know what’s going on, but just don’t talk about it.
My experience has been that most people are NOT being awakened.
As an experiment, I asked a liberal family member back in 2020 to track one particular story with me. that I knew would be breaking soon and see how it played out.
No emotion, no arguments, just wait and see.
See how it was presented. See what elements of power were applied to influence opinion. See what narrative was being pushed, and see how it all turned out in the end.
The story I chose, before it ever became a public item?
The Hunter Biden laptop.
So, after all these years, has this family member come to appreciate how this story was managed and packaged to manipulate public opinion, hide the truth, and propagandize the American people?
In a word, no.
These people are so deep in the matrix that they are unable to see the truth even when it is exposed right before their eyes.
There are none so blind as those who will not see.
Precisely. I guess the brainwashing through media and public education and even through churches has been very effective. It’s unbelievable to me to see people who I formerly thought were intelligent, critical thinkers, to just simply go with the flow of lies.
I have a group of conservatives friends who are aware and awake, but they don’t get the true stories because they still watch cnn, msnbc, abc, cbs, npr and they believe the propaganda being fed to them.
They voted for him but they hate President Trump.
They are totally sucked into the climate change scenario.
They think Russia is losing the proxy war because they hate Russia.
When I try to correct that, they look at me with a horrified look that I would believe at least in this case, that Russia is not the bad guy.
They always say, “oh, sure, everything you read on the internet is true hahahahaha.”
These are not dumb people but I can’t get through to them. It’s shoot the messenger all the time.
My family members are just totally impossible flaming liberals. I’ve done all I can.
1. Those who should know don’t want to know.
2. Even those claiming to be Conservative Republicans. One relative seems to have learned a bit more, but last we spoke, considered President Trump “too old” to run again, which is ironic given this relative’s age.
3. It would literally take a miracle.
Would love to meet some actual like minds and kindred spirits to talk to IRL … can’t count on family support when it comes to MAGA (you should’ve seen some of the reactions when I innocently announced that I had just attended a Trump rally … one person started ranting and raving and hung up the phone), and I lost a couple of Republican friends due to Covid mania.
Oh, and when I requested prayers for clean water for East Palestine in a Northeast Ohio church, a certain person looked at me like I was crazy and said something to the effect of “Really? They’re saying the water is okay. * sigh * God knows …” … Days later, President Trump visited there bringing clean bottled water. So the good news is, yes, God knows.
It’s insane, isn’t it?
On a related note, the TriggerMen sing, “Another Day, Another Scam”….all about the ignorance of the general public on topics such as climate change, COVID-19, Trump, the Russian dossier, and so on!
The TriggerMen…ENRAGING the Left, one ukulele chord at a time!
I have been here too many years to count and I tell everyone I know (and that I don’t know) what Sundance has been preaching all these years.
Almost always, it seems that I am talking to a blind deaf mute. They look at me like I am from Mars. But I can’t give up, it’s too important. Our country depends on it.
As an occasional news forager I notice that often both sides of the media are using the same contemporary expressions. If only I were a cartoonist I could relay results with many less words than I need in this form of communication. Calling creatives!
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
― Samuel Adams
This is, perhaps, what has happened in America. People cannot imagine living a life of discomfort and self sacrifice in order to protect the republic or their liberties. So they willingly refuse to see the truth. Sad state of affairs.
Hard times produce hard men and woman.
Hard men and women produce easy times.
Easy times produce easy men and woman.
Easy men and woman produce hard times- WE are HERE, and the cycle must continue.
Now turn this statement into a Meme “Thought for the Day”. Post it everywhere you have an opportunity to do so. Each day get a new Founding father idea and Post it again- over and Over.
“the greater part of the population is not very intelligent, dreads responsibility, and desires nothing better than to be told what to do. Provided the rulers do not interfere with its material comforts and its cherished beliefs, it is perfectly happy to let itself be ruled.”
– Aldous Huxley
I’m Gen X. My remaining family are totally disconnected from the truth. My brother doesn’t follow politics, at all, and my mom is an aging conservative boomer who can’t or won’t turn off Fox News. My dad died in 2019, and I don’t know what my inlaws do for news. My two cousins from my dad’s side are both flaming libtards, and I don’t know my cousins from my mom’s side at all.
I’ve been living online since 1998, and have been politically aware since Ruby Ridge in 1992.
I’ve had some success talking to people by saying something along the lines of “it’s difficult and uncomfortable to face, but I’ve gradually come to realize our government and much of society is terribly corrupt, and has been this way for a long time.” If they have any brains at all (and some do not) they kinda-sorta know what you mean already and if you ask them they can give you examples. The left-leaning types that are older were fed anti-American, anti-capitalism propaganda for years, and will be able to site old-school liberal pietisms that are no longer used.
1) I don’t think most are aware of the level of corruption, let alone the scope of it.
When I bring it up, most of the people dismissingly say, it’s always been that way. Absolutes open up the door for challenge so I try to engage without shutting people down. Lots of seeds are planted.
2) No, I don’t think most have perceived the shift of the last few years.
3) I don’t know if there is much we can do on the media side of things currently.
I do have an idea that would affect change but it will take a president and hopefully both houses of government. I’m sure it would be lobbied against heavily.
It would be called the Accountability in Media Act.
All methods of “news” would have to adhere to it whether via tv, online or paper form. Failure to adhere would be met with fines that would escalate. Networks as well as hosts could be fined.
When any entity airs/shares a news story that is proven inaccurate, they must run the correction in the same font, same placement and for the same length of time and as long as the original stories.
(This would dramatically reduce years long narrative talk that is not fact based like the Russia Hoax)
If it is an opinion show, a banner must be displayed boldly, that states it is opinion.
If hosts opine during a news show, they must state that it is their opinion, not established fact. Same with guests.
SD- I have been here since 2016-2017. My daughter is big MAGA but to this day, I can not get her to come to this site. She thinks it’s a weird conspiracy 🙄 bunch of Markley. I keep trying but she’s stubborn. Wonder where she gets that from ..🤔🤔
A surprising number of people I come across are increasingly more aware. But how to go about doing something about it? That is the issue.
When the whole 401k thing got rolled out 30 years ago, my warning signals went off. I knew instinctively that to get the middle class tied into Wall Street as well as the wealthy was going to give corporations way too much power. Turns out it wasn’t the corporations, but the professional Leftists like Soros and Larry Fink that figured out how to control the corporations who would be the danger.
Rather than boycotting Bud Light, a more effective protest would be, if not to withdraw from 401k altogether, at least get your money managers to drop all BlackRock and Vanguard investments if you are able to.
Also, fight digital currency with all your might. Use cash in as many transactions as you can.
The start of Direct Deposit of paychecks was another Red Flag for me.
AND, debit cards for bank accounts.
I fought direct deposit for years until my employer refused to pay me any other way.
Tribes….that’s what we’ve become in this land. Wherever it started, whomever pushed what button first, is irrelevant. We see it within our larger extended families as well. The nation is parsed into left wing (everything from radical commie extremists to traditional liberal old schoolers), right wing (Constitutional conservatives to RINO go alongs), and the broad mushy middle where many languish within cocoons filled with tic tok, video gaming, celebrity gossip, or just punching a long hours clock and trying to survive. So many don’t want to dive into the pool for real knowledge, real truth. They barely read any news or commentary. It is VERY difficult to get them to understand the most basic constructs of our convoluted political system as it really is. They don’t get past the first tough hurdle.
When I relay info to friends and family, very few take the plunge. Those who are already in the conservative camp sometimes do. My friends on the left have ignored these completely, or paused me, or whatever. Those who are intellectually capable always challenge these links, or findings, or seek ways to discredit the author, the source, etc.
As I’ve said many times here…you would need multiple videos filmed from different angles to prove the guilt of a leftist puke like Biden, with literal smoking guns placed right before a judge, to have any hope of changing the minds of these folks.
I do know when they are scared. It’s when the info presented is initially challenged but not countered. Their silence is their giveaway. But…the leftists will NEVER change. It is a religion to them. Our only hope is to find blocks of the mushy middle who can see the problems in no more than THREE SIMPLE STEPS. Anything past that and they go blank.
Yes change for the true leftist is virtually impossible, like sociopaths ( many Liberals are sociopaths) it would destroy their entire identity.
Cheers!
seriously…
I have a family member, and spouse, who could be sitting in the middle of their home with no food, no running water, no electricity, and still blame Trump.
Among extended family I have 2 allies, a few on the sidelines, but most are sadly Hopeless. Among colleagues, 9999 Hopeless and 1 unexpected red-pilled conversion. I have sadly not found a way to talk with the Hopeless, as their TDS shuts down any incoming logic like a barbed wire fence around Congress…
I send the best articles from The TreeHouse to everyone in my email address book.
They forward them to their family and friends.
It is analogous to the printed pamphlets used by the pre-revolution patriots to garner public support.
Knowledge is power.
And an email chain can reach hundreds of thousands (millions) of people.
I also send them to my Congress person, so they can’t say that they are unaware.
We have to get “outside of the box” and beat the high-tech censors with old school (internet/email) technology.
Heck you could even print articles and share them at a local well-attended parking lot or gathering.
It worked for our Founders. Get off Twitter & Fakebook and get busy!!!
For our freakin children!!!
Committees of Correspondence, from the American Founders time.
Happy Birthday Samuel Adams
09/27/2004
Gary Galles
https://mises.org/wire/happy-birthday-samuel-adams
September 27 marks the 1722 birth of a Patriot known by the present generation primarily as a brewer of beer. But Samuel Adams was a central actor in the American Revolution, as illustrated by John Adams’ 1778 visit to Paris, during which Parisians were disappointed that he was not “the famous Adams.”Samuel Adams helped organize the Committees of Correspondence, which mustered support for the patriot cause. He was the author of “The Rights of Colonists,” distributed by the Massachusetts Committee of Correspondence. He was the founder of The Sons of Liberty and the principle organizer of the Boston Tea Party, and as a result, he was a target of the British government for treason a year before the Declaration of Independence. He was the source of the battle cry “no taxation without representation.” He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and a member of the First and Second Continental Congress, before turning his attention back to his beloved Massachusetts as Lieutenant Governor and Governor. Samuel Adams’ most important contribution to America’s cause, however, was that, as described by John Adams, he was the man who had “the most thorough understanding of liberty.” In that role, his arguments for liberty were primary sparks in the creation of what has been called the first country ever founded on a good idea, which we still benefit from. Given the threats to liberty we face today, it is worth recalling the some of the words that inspired our founding.
(snip)
Perhaps the best summary of Samuel Adams’ thought may be from a 1771 essay he wrote for the Boston Gazette under the pseudonym of “Candidus”:
If the liberties of America are ever completely ruined, of which in my opinion there is now the utmost danger, it will in all probability be the consequence of a mistaken notion of prudence, which leads men to acquiesce in measures of the most destructive tendency for the sake of present ease. When designs are formed to raze the very foundation of a free government, those few who are to erect their grandeur and fortunes on the general ruin, will employ every art to soothe the devoted people into a sense of indolence, inattention, and security, which is forever the forerunner of slavery…They are alarmed at nothing so much as attempts to awaken the people to jealousy and watchfulness… The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks…It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation…if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, of be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men…Let us contemplate our forefathers, and posterity, and resolve to maintain the rights bequeathed to us from the former for the sake of the latter…Let us remember that if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom. It is a very serious consideration that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event. The tragedy of American freedom, it is to be feared, is nearly complete. A tyranny seems to be at the very door. It is to little purpose, then, to go about coolly to rehearse the gradual steps that have been taken, the means that have been used, and the instruments employed to encompass the ruin of the public liberty. We know them and we detest them. But what will this avail, if we have not the courage and resolution to prevent the completion of their system?
That Boston Gazette essay makes clear the reason for Samuel Adams’ most famous quote:
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and like the hands that feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.
Samuel Adams wanted to “…renovate the age, by…instructing [men] in the art of self-government,” so that Americans would be capable of “assuming that freedom of thought and dignity of self-direction which [God] bestowed…” In an era of sharply constricting limits on how much we are allowed to govern ourselves, we need to be reminded of his devotion to our liberty no less today than we needed them at our founding.
I think maybe a “did you know…” page we can share would be a good start. I don’t know if multiple topics would be too overwhelming so maybe focus on like five or ten key areas and approach the ignorance with quick short simple facts.
Most of my family and friends believe the government is corrupt….as a general idea, however, when specifics are brought up they don’t want to believe those specifics. They especially don’t want to believe the concept of the Uniparty and that, in general, Republicans are just as bad as the Demons
My perception has definitely become more awakened the past 7 years, but I’ve always believed that both parties pretty much suck. I voted for Perot twice, and have bit my lip voting for Bush, NoName, and Romney (never again will I vote of the likes of them tho). No politician ever appears to be honest….until Trump.
I have no idea what comm tools are needed to break thru. Everyone inherently knows government sucks and the politicians crooks, but they still think they must continue to elect the same type of people because the other side is so much worse. I will no longer be that way. I’m all for letting the Republican party be destroyed if they attempt to steal the nomination from Trump. Its the only way that true change might come.
The republicans are doing a very fine job of destroying themselves right now. But, I’m totally with you.
Abolish political parties.
Read what George Washington wrote (WARNED) about political parties.
♦ What is the average knowledge of government corruption within your network (family, friends, community)?
By and large, outside my immediate group of like minded people, their knowledge is minimal. For most it sounds too over the top and not credible.
♦ Has their perception, perhaps as well as your own, become more awakened in the past several years?
My own perception for sure! Your writings have been breath of fresh air as many of my frustrations with the inactivity of the republicans over decades has been explained. I spread the word when and where possible but many people either can’t accept or comprehend the extent and level of corruption pervading the system. They look at me as if I’m wearing a tin foil hat. So I’m selective and careful because credibility is important.
♦ What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?
I think your writings would be of great value if they were better distributed and the only way that I see for that is to get on Twitter. I don’t know if you’ve already tried it but I follow a fair amount of financial stuff there and recently discovered some edgy and comical (conservative) worthwhile content. I think you could develop a following quickly.
This corruption is so deep and egregious the system suppresses and buries it before it can see the light. I think the new Twitter could be a good start and worth a try.
I believe Sundance is and has been on Twitter for quite sometime.

“What communication tools do you think are needed, or would be of value, in order for more people to understand what you are aware of?”
Ones that are not subject to immediate derailing/disqualification because of associated laxity communication standards. People can pass along Times and Post articles and seek to point to them as credible, scholarly, what have you in part because they appear to generally cultivate a reputation for maintaining standards as far as profanity and such.
Think of somebody going into a court room and having to prepare evidence before a judge. Usually those accused are dressed in clothes that fit a standard, are instructed by counsel to address officials in proper terms, and so forth. Accordingly, though those arguing their case feel they might have right on their side and have justified anger that might sometimes come with emotional responses, all of that seems wise to put in check in terms of what is actually presented for consideration. That may be how they raise the volume of their trumpet, as it were, by doing the best they can to make sure their tune gets heard.
Meanwhile, look at the (evidently approved) sobriquet from the first post here. Do you think that might or might not be a barrier to sending along a new story to people from a wide range of backgrounds? In line with what is often mentioned here, people need to look at things as they are. Therefore, if we’re talking about trumpets and communications, it seems wise to eliminate as many barriers as possible.
WHAT?!
lol
This is a fantastic time to relate what happened to me this past week and consequently, respond to Sundance’s request.
I play in a golf league on Thursday evenings and after we finished our round (my partner and I are in second place and playing for the championship next week) we had a couple adult beverages at the 19th hole. Then three of us decided to go for Mexican food.
After some chit chat and so forth about our play earlier that afternoon, the conversation turned to politics–specifically the indictment of Trump and the 2020 election. Although all three of us voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020, the oldest of our group said he did not think the 2020 election was rigged / fraudulent. Although he did not like the outcome, he said he’d seen or heard nothing that could change his opinion that Trump lost fair and square.
I was gobsmacked, almost speechless. Although I politely tried to convince the gentleman that the 2020 election was in fact stolen, he would not budge. He said he needed proof and my protestations–though obviously sincere and well meaning–did not convince him.
So, one thing that would greatly help is a jam-up, shin-kicking 5 minute elevator speech that would leave anyone either convinced the election was stolen, or at very least, deeply suspicious.
Of course, there are other topics, like convincing the naïve and ignorant that we are living in a banana republic that is due in large part to Obama and his acolytes and supporters.
We need short, solid, and well documented 5 minute elevator speeches that–at worst–leaves the skeptical and willfully blind very uncomfortable with their newfound knowledge, and at best, permanently opens the eyes of those who have not been exposed to the truth.
Ponting out the statistical anomalies might be a good place to start. Use the meme comparing Obama, biden and Trump’s election results: counties won, seats added, bellweather counties.
Follow with the unprecedented closing of counting centers, only to reopen in the dead of the night sans observers.
Two thousand mules is also good evidence. It has not been debunked. In fact after trying to poo-poo geotracking, the FBI had to admit that it’s reliable and widely used to round up J6 victims.
Tried that–you know, Trump won 18 of the 19 bellwether counties that has been stone-cold accurate going back over 40 years as the predictor of presidential elections. Yet, Xiden won the election while LOSING 18 of those 19 counties.
I tried other examples, but they did not seem to phase him. He wanted an “official source” to raise the issue, but I told him all such sources were in on the steal. *crickets*
Guy didn’t budge.
It’s a type of denial. You can point out that 2, let alone 6, states have never simultaneously stopped counting votes. And those 6 states just happened to be the 6 battle ground states the media has been prattling on about for 8 months. And truck loads of ballots showed up in the wee hours of the morning with, essentially, only Biden votes to surge him into the lead. All you’ll get a blank stare and a shrug.
Then again, these are the people that begin a sentence with “follow the science” and finish with “there are a dozen genders”.
my partner and I are in second place and playing for the championship next week
Cool, good luck.
Folks, let’s help Sundance.
Use the format he gave us. Be targeted in your response.
We’ve got to get this right. Take your time and really think about this. Rushed replies will not be as valuable as well thought out, carefully curated responses.
How loud is my own trumpet?
Not loud enough.
My biggest problem is that I am so passionate about our cause and the underlying issues that I can easily overwhelm others. The amount of information and insight I have been educated with by you, Sundance, is enormous. This, when combined with other’s cognitive dissonance, is a very big hurdle. They simply turn me off.
The sad truth is I am the biggest impediment to the volume of my own trumpet.
You ask for truth as I see it and truth I shall write. I blame a lot of the ‘lack of ability to act’ on those who have the ears of the public and/or eyes as well. Its nice to have millions of followers clicking to hear you rant but what do they see being done? I’m not writing concerning you Sundance because I know you’re a doer as well as a writer. My beef is with the ones who make millions complaining but never lead a sit in, etc. There are people out there with the ability to make MAGA become a visible entity without breaking laws in states that won’t put you in jail for doing so. I wish I had that ability and youth, but I don’t. I just pray that those who can will.
As for my family, my daughter in law and son are the only ones who will talk about anything politically or current events. All others dare me to say something about it.
Retired Magistrate here: Don’t have to many family members left; however, those that are left are quite up to date about what is going on and all the corruption. As far as friends, it is a split. Some are very up to date and we feed each other the most current information. Others sort of know what is going on, but they don’t want to deal with it. They just want to be left alone and live their lives. Unfortunately, those days are over.
I discovered that the people that are really informed about what is going on are independent business people, especially small contractors. I had to hire a guy to do the high ladder work on our house, at my age and with a pinned up and a hip replacement, I have no business being up on high ladders. He is a big Trump supporter. I showed him my new Trump flag and he wanted to know where to get one because his 2020 flag is in tatters. The same thing holds true with the repair people who service our air conditioner and our old fuel oil furnace.
As far as what more can be done, my recommendation is to keep referring people to the Treehouse, that is what I do. I don’t know of any other place to get the investigative journalism that you get on this site. Also, the comments further enhance the article.
Finally, there are some people that just don’t want to get it and they never will. Not necessarily just liberals but people who can’t believe how far their beloved country has fallen and won’t take the blinders off. Keep on trucking Sundance.
Retired Magistrate here: Sorry, should be “pinned hip” not “up.”
Ever since the passing of the one and only Rush Limbaugh – I’ve been searching for someone or something to fill that void….& I’m pleased to say “The Last Refuge” has been the answer to my Prayers – “Thank You Sundance!”…..Heaven Sent!
I am amazed at how my wife and grown kids and grandkids all come to the same conclusions independently. Rush hit the nail on the head, they can’t separate us from Trump because he speaks for us and proved it. Everyone else is just talk. And if you don’t support Trump, you’re not on our side!
Also, if DOJ and FBI lied about Russiagate and fabricated that lie, and suppressed joe/hunter biden bribery, how can you believe they protected elections and did not set up J6 entrapment.
Who else can arrest FBI and DOJ people committing crimes? Asking for a friend.
Nothing will change [It will Only get WORSE] until the people responsible for Russiagate/Jan 6th are held to account for their actions….FYI -Long story short – I too went to the Jan 6th event & the ONLY thing that makes any sense based on what I witnessed that day – The breach of our Capital was Simply ALLOWED to happen! That day will forever haunt me for the rest of my life….Almost wish I never went. I now realize how corrupt our Government & mainstream media have become….Our country is truly in dark times.
Except for 2-3 in my family circle … the other 5-7 are oblivious to what’s going on ..I don’t think they are going to engage until “they” are affected in some way..
So SD, keep your good work up informing us ..so when I get the opportunity I have facts to put forth..😀👍
🇺🇸💪😀👍
My immediate family circle understands and knows exactly what the real situation is. Even my 18 year old stepson and 24 year old daughter are well informed and surprisingly astute, politically and spiritually. We are strong, believing Christians and take the Bible and church life seriously. My immediate boss and a few others I work with are the same. I have yet to know anyone in my church who does not know where we are in God’s timeline. So for the most part, I am blessed to be around people who are not blind to the way our country (and the world) are going.
Outside of them, however, the apathy is strong. So many people either don’t know, don’t want to know, are diehard liberal and refuse to have a coherent discussion, or otherwise happy in their ignorance. I know we have discussed this many times in my house, and it has been discussed here, so many people are just incapable of reason and critical thinking any more. If the TV or phone tells them something it is truth to them. There are a few who I have been able to talk with who are starting to open their eyes. Those few are the reason I continue to have hope.
I read things from so many places that I often forget where it comes from so I keep a Word document with some keywords and links. When a conversation comes up and I know I read something about it before, I can search and find the article or site to pass along. There’s just too much good information and the brain seems limited in reference link retention
Sundance, your work here has had much to do with my understanding and knowledge. You have said before that once you see the strings and connections you can’t unsee them. I give testimony to those statements. So many times I have read stuff and knew immediately what was true, but also what was baloney and who would be behind it.
Faith, prayer and fellowship with like minded Christians will keep us strong in God. I don’t believe He wants us to roll over and just take what is going on. But without that Godly strength with us, keeping up in this fight will difficult if not impossible. I prefer to be on His side and trust that no matter what happens, He is right there with me.
“Those few are the reason I continue to have hope.”
Amen Deplorable JC! 🙏
My sister – very intelligent, stressful job as a director in a public company, has 14 yr old daughter & is remodeling house. She listens to NPR and voted Biden because she thought DJT is a bad person. Yes. Now she’s wondering about Vivek. Her life is generally comfortable – she doesn’t understand the extreme danger. I’m surrounded with people like this.
From what I’ve seen it’s very difficult to get people to take the warnings seriously – I think many of them need to be hit in the face with the consequences before they get it.
Well, now that Jack “whatever-his-real-name-is” has filed a motion to hem-in President Trump’s “FREE SPEECH” because he posted on Truth Social, the same damn thing he has said in every interview that I have watched and in every book he has written that I have read, over his entire lifetime….”If you go after me I’m coming after you” Ouch! That really hurt Jackie-Boy and the big, mean, lefty nut-job is making President Trump respond by 5 pm MONDAY, in HER COURT!!!!a
Next are they going to hang’em high?
This I will tell you for certain….the people on the street are going to feel the impact of this latest PERSECUTION and President Trump set them up beautifully for such a showdown.
At some point, when the everyday Mary and John cannot say ANYTHING at work or in the grocery store because they FEAR they might be arrested if they say “My God! I cannot afford these high prices anymore! Taxes are too DAMN high! DAMN Government!
You’re going to jail for saying that or “what were you thinking when you were SHOCKED at the price at the pump?”!!!
Things are going to get much worse because we are about to witness and live through a financial collapse . With that more and more people will be out of a job.
I’ve always found that people who are in pain, have the time to think about how they got there and they know when they see their paycheck how much money goes to the government…..After a fashion, people get to make a decision and decide who or what caused the lay-offs.
The majority of Americans (and people worldwide) are NOT ready and willing to be SLAVES for the rest of their days, because they have never experienced that pain.
Inflict the thought that their pain can equal slavery to the government forces; they will be saying exactly what President Trump has ALWAYS said:
“If you go after me, I’m coming after you…”
The longer this persecution goes on, the more likely people world-wide wake up and will be speaking up.
Abigail you are the first post on the economic pain. Economic pain gets more attention than any other issue. When Gas and heating oil once again go up above 5$ a gallon people will notice. Inflation for flour, sugar, eggs and bacon will immediately open peoples minds to listen and change. Grocery stores and gas stations are places to mumble, moan and speak out loud of corrupt government screwing the ordinary people. You are already a deplorable and people understand as being a bit wacho that when they hear you in the stores mumbling about inflation and corrupt elites they will hear and listen.
Our mission needs to evolve from just providing information, to thinking of creative solutions. One primary reason I loathe watching news is because for our side, it’s nothing but crying and whining, and few if any solutions being offered.

We need easily shareable solutions to problems, probably using our numbers against the machine.
Such an interesting post. And important. Maybe the most important in a while. As a Canadian, I have a perspective that sees both sides of the American divide. That can be a disadvantage but also an advantage. So here is my two cents:
all Treepers know that the fight is much more than Donald Trump. And yet those on the left of the argument immediately got to Trump and trash him continuously. Liar, crook, cheat, the whole gamut. This is where the ‘powers that be” have been extremely successful. They have made DJT into their Immanuel Goldstein – the subject of daily rants in Orwell’s 1984. In fact, they seem to be using 1984 as their playbook.
when I engage in political conversation, I tend to try and steer the conversation away from DJT by saying he is a symptom of the problem, not the problem. I say there is really no difference between Republicans and democrats in officialdom. Rather the new political realignment is between elitism and populism.
On the elitist side is pretty much all of the Washington class, with their endless budgets, lack of accountability and the corrupt three letter agencies propping the whole thing up. Also aligned with big business, the non profit class and the ‘helping’ class who depend on poverty, ignorance and misery for their incomes.
The populist side is represented nominally by Bernie Sanders on the left and DJT and his loyalists on the right. it’s clear that Bernie has sold out. He folded like a cheap suit when Biden was installed as the Dem nominee when Bernie was clearly winning. But then Bernie has never had a real job in his life and I think he never really wanted it. Too much work.
I talk about the misery that the middle class has endured for decades under uniparty rule. The evisceration of manufacturing, small business, the decay of inner cities, the horrible state of education, assaults on the family – the whole gamut. I also point out the utter failure of the elitists in almost every institution – politics, justice, academia, economics, science, military etc, with particular emphasis on Covid. I then point out that whatever they might think of DJT, he got the economy going in a way that benefited the middle class for the first time in decades, and the big one – he is the only president in my lifetime who did not start some kind of stupid war. There is rarely pushback on these points. How can there be.
So one useful strategy may be to de emphasize DJT and emphasize populism vs elitism. Our leaders have failed us because they advance their own interests above the people. There is no integrity. No ethics or morality. Those old fashioned concepts have been replaced with the power narrative. That’s all that counts. But their narrative is fragile and can be attacked.
I hope sanity prevails. I fear it won’t.
This is a tough one.
I don’t know that there is anything anybody can say to change the mind of people stuck deep in the matrix. Up and until the pensions stop, bank collapses, war starts inside the USA, real food shortages (not toilet paper) etc. The Great Reset/Agenda21/30 will take care of that.
The really good news is the tides have switched and more and more people are seeing everyday the duplicity and outright criminality of Washington DC. I believe we are seeing The Great Awakening this is the worst nightmare for a swamp rat.
Polls are crap but for the sake of the conversation B-B-Biden is as popular as a f_art in a spacesuit according to all the polls and this includes most people in the Beltway aka The Swamp and swamp rats therein. (you want a poll, look at Bud Light, Sound of Freedom, Disney flopping, attendance still when President Trump shows up anywhere. All of it’s a con and it only works when we are transfixed on any odious swamp organ…any of the enemy MSM.
The swamp is lashing out. This is something that someone who has total control doesn’t do. I don’t care how smug some swamp rat can be with a news actor on the enemy MSM, they are talking to themselves and the hypnotized.
When someone wants to talk talk to them, when someone wants to listen speak, but when someone doesn’t want either wipe the dust from your feet, forget about them and save the savable.
I’ve won many a battle with humor, but to what end? They usually call me a poopey head and walk off. It is fun, but is it getting results?
The Change I notice is as follows…. I help seniors stay in their homes by doing small jobs for them at not cost for my labor – I only charge for materials…. I usually visit about 5 homes a day…In the last 7 months especially in the African American communities (this also applies to hispanics and whites as well), they are tired of living in poverty – It’s either pay for food – oil or the cable TV bill (Lots of them have installed the old fashioned roof antennas……that’s what they are down to…
100% see that people are crossing the border and living a life that they do not have…
This is THEIR WORDS not mine…
Then I ask if they voted for this…And I don’t get an answer…So I know they voted for it.
I tell them all, the change comes in the ballot box and right now its all you have…Being pissed about it..then voting for it all over again
does NOT make any sense… you are being left behind..and sooner or later you ability to vote for any kind of change will be overruled when they
give the same people they are complaining about the right to vote….and its going to happen.
I have been doing this every single day…
Also you will be surprised to know there are many many people that will never vote democrat again…the same people that used to trash President Trump wish he was there… It;s all coming down to a trip to the market and they all have nothing left afterwards… and they all say it was NOT LIKE THAT 3 years ago
BTW, my daughter married a guy from Turkey, highly educated and now an American citizen. He gets it. So does his teenage son. They know the value of our freedom and the special life we have here in the USA. They despise Biden and his enablers and love Trump. And they hate Hillary – they saw what she and BO did to the Middle East. My son in law and his son understand what we will lose if we don’t fight back.
Ain’t that the truth. Family and friends outside of legitimate immigrants – big difference.
All of those I know who are here legally have gone ahead in a few short years to build amazingly comfortable lives, with good jobs, even bought houses from having come in under some religious immigrant organisations.
They are way ahead and knowledgeable and always asking about many issues that are in the news. They do see how corrupt America is in ways their own governments are to warrant leaving EVERYTHING to come here. Many are afraid. All are pro-Trump.
Our weapon is truth.
Thank you for all you do for seniors….
We need to ask more questions.
Questions are seeds that promote growth by stimulating thought – creating discomfort – unsettling. Self-answering often leads to follow up questions and more growth.
Instead of “you know the election was stolen” perhaps “how did you come to grips with election night shenanigans and in the days after the election?” Instead of “you know the media is biased” perhaps “why are all cameras on Biden talking about his new (old) 7th grandchild while Hunter’s former business partner testifies against Biden and Hunter’s plea bargain collapsed? Do you think they’ll ever be exposed in the MSM?”
And don’t be surprised when people become drowsy and tune-out when questions are asked. They’ve been conditioned to seek distraction to escape reality and responsibility.
I am particularly concerned about Senate Bill 686, The Restrict Act. If this passes, our Free Speech will be greatly impacted !
I am also shocked at the willful ignorance of educated people and how the first reaction
is “I’ll never vote for that man”. I follow-up with, which policy exactly upsets you so much?
Crickets usually. At least it’s a place to start.
Actually “which Trump policy did you not like?” is one of my favorite questions. Was it the no wars, low inflation, high employment, cheap energy, tighter border w/less human trafficking, ….etc. No one has answered me yet.
I’d have to say, those in my circle who are Dem voters (includes my closest friend who isn’t related to me), went from wanting to knock Trump all over the place verbally to now not wanting to talk about politics at all in my presence–their fear is my take down of Biden and having to acknowledge an “I told you so” because before the election I told them how corrupt the bastard has always been .
However, I can also tell you they have prevented me from telling them in any –I’ll use Sundance’s word– granular way just how bad things are. Because they watch either ABC, CBS, or NBC on a regular basis, they know virtually nothing about Crossfire Hurricane, FBI corruption, DOJ corruption, etc. It really is true that the media blackout has been hugely successful. “Hunter’s Laptop”? Well, to them, it’s about Hunter, not Joe, or at least has been up until recently.
We have not even talked about what Garland tried to do to stop American parents from attending school board meetings and expressing their discontent. “Domestic Terrorists.” “White Supremacists.”
While we’ve not talked of these, I would imagine they are unhappy with such behavior by Garland and they recognize the propaganda when they hear it, but frankly, they think the GOP and “conservatives” are the boogiemen of politics. One has gay nieces. Another, a gay son.
When I pointed out that Trump has never been anti-gay, they argue the point. They believed that since born-agains “belong to the Republican Party” or are “Bible-beating” that means all people who vote R or Trump are anti-gay people and are backward-thinking people. My college-educated friends (still middle class in spirit, upper middle-class in income) are desperately afraid of ever being thought to be racist or homophobic, or on and on. One on one, they’ll open up to me, but I rarely get them one-on-one.
We’re Californians. I’d say the greatest opposition to clear thought that I face with Dems in this state is the REPUTATION of REPUBLICANS. They don’t love Dems, but they HATE R’s.
I’m afraid my circle of friends will remain ignorant of truth for a long while.
I do know they don’t like the constant belly aching of black leaders. (BTW, this group is white and one Hispanic).
Also, I DO KNOW that the “DEM thing” the most despise but won’t admit such things around me, (doesn’t matter, I know how they feel about him) is BIDEN.
He’s been a huge embarrassment to them and they know he seems out to make our lives miserable. I know my friends well. They probably discuss with each other, “How the hell did Biden get put up as POTUS candidate?”
If I were in charge of communicating to large numbers of regular democrats the rot and the stink and total corruption of the US government, I’d do it through the installation of Joe Biden as President of the United States.
They wonder 1) Why would the Dem Party put Joe in place rather than let other people run? I know they are suspicious about that.
2) Why are there media forces protecting him? That is, why have we not known EARLIER how corrupt Biden is???? BTW, it’s crucial that an impeachment inquiry be held to bring out all the evidence of Joe’s massive heist of money. It also WILL SHOW THEM THAT Trump’s IMPEACHMEnt #1 was totally political and was to cover up Biden’s crimes, Obama’s too.
I think that nailing Biden with evidence all over the place is the ONE BIG THING that can show millions of DEMs that their party’s attacks on Trump WERE always COVER_UPS.
The growing realization that JOE BIDEN IS A PUPPET will lead them to the realization that there is a force in this country that was desperate to put into the OVAL someone who would serve THEM, not the public.
How could this FORCE actually do that???? AFter all, the guy hid in the basement? That FORCE could do that by stifling the communication ability of the opponent, by OWNING THE MEANS OF COMMUNICATION (ie the networks are indeed FAKE NEWS JUST AS TRUMP HAS BEEN TRYING TO TELL THEM FOR YEARS), and by CHEATING when it comes to the elections.
TELL THEM ALSO THAT TRump won 17 of 18 Bellweather counties, UNHEARD OF.
Very important to educate them on Biden. THAT is right in front of them NOW and most of the theft of democracy that has taken place can be explained by educating them on Biden’s crimes and his purposeful installation as POTUS. That’ s a hell of a lot easier to explain than Crossfire Hurricane.
I read a lengthy article in The Atlantic about San Francisco – obviously written by the typical type – liberal female who analyzed analyzed. At one point she described a naked guy lying on the sidewalk eating cardboard. In the end…even this wasn’t enough for her to even consider voting Republican….too demeaning for her to do such a thing apparently. I saw the same attitude in Portland…they’re waiting for the Democrats to fix the problems created by Democrats….to vote Republican is unthinkable. The liberals obviously see themselves as morally superior – despite walking over the naked guy eating cardboard.
My family and friends follow typical pattern. Women, teachers, gay, and to some extent young believe the elite tribe of New York Times and Harvard et al. I think the real power of these Elites is not convincing people of what to think. The real power is convincing people what not to think. Maybe don’t argue what is. Argue what isn’t. Thanks Sundance.
I have found that bumperstickers are effective ways to get people to think, and sometimes enter into conversation. If they think about the problem, we win. If they ask questions, even better. And, if they disagree and flip me off, I didn’t waste time. problem is the right words. I have 3 I use: Pledge of Allegiance; God, Family, Country, and Lets Go Brandon.
I also use Let’s Go Brandon quite frequently in my blueMA area. I start conversations at the grocery store about inflation and shortages and end by casually saying, “Oh well, what is there to say but – Let’s Go Brandon!”
Some may not even get it but may be puzzled enough to look it up later!
BUMPER STICKERS.
Notice how the Left likes to drive around in Subarus loaded with bumpers stickers?
Why don’t WE do it?
I got some “Don’t blame me, I voted for Trump” stickers for our SUV. BIG ONES… for the drive up to the Puget Sound from SoCal. But my wife would not let me put them on…
She was afraid of lunatics…. Leftist Lunatics.
Crazy, huh?
I guess you got to be a lunatic to be a Leftist.
Not crazy at all. For decades, one of the Democrats’ biggest weapons has been their willingness to riot and go to jail for the cause. Back in the 60’s and 70’s the monkey wrench gang(s) didn’t think twice about spiking trees – even though they knew loggers would get maimed or worse, or vandalizing ski lifts. In the 80’s and 90’s they would vandalize SUV’s and throw paint at women wearing real fur. Bill Ayers and his Weather Underground friends were filmed by undercover FBI talking about re-education camps and most likely having to execute 25 million die-hard capitalists.
Conservatives, Libertarians, and Republicans in general just aren’t of that mindset; even though the Swamp and Fourth Branch has been trying to provoke a violent response of some sort since Trump’s 2016 rally in Chicago.
Your wife is NOT crazy to be afraid.
During the lead-up to the 2018 mid-terms, I was deliberately rear-ended by a truck, because I had a Trump bumper sticker. They crossed lanes of traffic to hit me.
Leftists are INSANE.
Hope you weren’t hurt.
I only have 2 neighbors. We all voted Trump. One set of neighbors was actually buying into the DeSantis campaign, so I turned their attention to this blog. People are gullible, even past Trump voters. There’s a reason to vote Trump, and coming here daily proves it.
I send out soundbites from here daily to friends, and tell them to copy/paste around the place. I always tell them to use ” so that people copy and paste and find the original source.
Yes, I have heard the push for DeSantis as the R candidate… bc for a huge % of Americans… they do not have the will nor the stamina to follow this very complex analysis that Sundance prepares.
And, probably most Americans are not willing to accept that this ONE man, Trump, is the good guy and everyone else, most politicians, both parties, the Fed govt bureacrats and most state govt officials are the bad guys. It IS very hard for most people to believe.
I listened to Napolitano (N), today while I was driving.
He (N) was on one of the radio stations. He was discussing Trump and Ukraine. He says only Trump and RFK Jr… oppose the War in Ukraine. True.
N also said that Bobby is excellent at presenting and explaining the serious issues that face our nation. He doesn’t agree with all Bobby says… bc N is a libertarian, not an R. Neither do I agree w/everything Bobby says either… but Napolitono is correct that Bobby does a far better job of explaining whats happening, the dangers to the US than Trump … and this is also TRUE.
N also said DeSantis doesn’t have a chance. No R does against Trump in the primary… but Trump will likely lose to Biden in the general.
N said: Trump and I have been friends 4 a long time and I know him well. But “Trump is about Trump, not what’s best for the nation.” Wow. 🙄 That’s what the dems say.
N said: that PEOPLE ON TRUMPS CAMPAIGN TEAM are telling him (N) that Trump will act like a totalitarian king/tyrant IF he wins in 2024… and N listed a few things they said Trump would do once in power. Wow!
N said: Trump exaggerates often to the extreme. He said that it’s VERY unlikely that Trump could end the War in Ukraine in 24 hours. He just says this extreme stuff to make himself look good. IS that true? Yes, certainly sometimes.
N said: CIA, FBI would be threatened if Trump got back in the WH but N seemed to be taking the side of the FBI, CIA… as if THEY were the reasonable ones. Wow.
And if I didn’t already know all that I do know, I would believe N… bc it DOES NOT make sense to believe that everyone is bad and corrupt, evil EXCEPT Trump (and a FEW other people/officials) he has supporting him… + active, serious Trump supporters.
N said: the R party USED to be principled and have an ideology they followed but no more. The R party has been taken over by Trump devotees so the R party is lost. N views MAGA as the crazy extremists destroying the party. He said nothing about the destruction of the Dem party… just the Rs.
Now, we can … say … as many do that we just dismiss N as a corrupt RINO… and Barr and most others… but that leaves us WITH NO ONE in any position of power, authority. We R just “out there” winging it and hoping 4 the best.
I’m actually pretty exhausted trying to convince former Trump voters to vote for Trump again. THEY ARE EXHAUSTED by the constant barrage of attacks, impeachment, Russia hoax, now indictments. I GET what the political establishment is doing and they ARE succeeding.
N said: Trump HAS his 30%+ base but THAT is not enough to beat Biden.
Biden NEEDS TO BE IMPEACHED… but closer to the election bc if Trump is going to be under indictment, we need BIDEN under impeachment to level the playing field.
The majority of Americans have NEVER been POLITICAL JUNKIES like we are. They are NOT following this… and it takes a LOT of time and energy to grasp the complexity.
I’m having a TOUGH time talking to friends and family and neighbors about all that we know from this site and a few others. So many CANNOT HANDLE IT and it DOES sound crazy. The problem is… that it’s TRUE and very dangerous for our country.
And so many Americans and people I know are ALREADY overwhelmed by their day-to-day lives… trying to food on the table, pay the mortgage, deal with kids and their problems, deal with marital problems… NOT having enough time in the day to relax so taking on this MONSTER of a real crisis in our country is more than they can bare… and so they do NOT want to hear it or discuss it anymore.
Just trying to defend Trump re: these indictments is HARD bc it’s complicated and people can’t handle more complex stuff than they already are… so they DO read the headlines, watch the “NEWS” in the evening … but that’s what Americans always did.
This does remind me of 1930s Germany. Most likely German people were going through similar exhausting lives and just reading the headlines, a few blurbs, listening to the radio for an hour at night so THEY BELIEVED what they read and heard… and the result was the Holocaust and WWII.
I think the first problem is paying ANY attention to anything Napolitano says.
He’s a flaming, sellout, jerk, and has been for years.
We need a good national cable news network that publishes the truth. All the current ones are shaded from some bias to downright lies.
I was shocked at the lack of knowledge of even the names of the Republican or Democrat candidates. No news network is talking about them, showcasing their ideas, or doing a comparison of them – a real comparison of their qualifications, donors, policy ideas, stands on issues – abortion, civil rights, culture issues, economy, foreign policy – in short form for the people who are not readers. I would like to have something to hand to people who say, “Vivek, who”?
There are so many people who are NOT readers and so many of them are people who had trouble with reading in school…….hard working people who are too tired at the end of the day to want to sit down and struggle to read. So they watch news, but they don’t know if what they are hearing is the truth or some more fake news. These are the people that the firing of Tucker Carlson has hurt the most.
you in War. they arent going to give us anything that will help us.
get your circle away from the Walking dead. and from ending up the walking dead.
I don’t know *anyone* who still pays for cable.
