The New York Times has released their first New York Times/Siena College poll of the 2024 campaign season [POLL DATA HERE]. The results of the poll show President Donald Trump playing the role of Godzilla in stomping the field of Republican playdough candidates.
President Trump leads with 54%, followed by a ridiculously distant Ron DeSantis at 17%, Pence 3%, Haley 3%, Scott 3% and Ramalamadingdong 2%. The only other candidate to break double digits is ‘I Don’t Know,’ the mysterious dark horse who continues biting pieces off the shrinking Florida governor.
So, who is this great MAGA coalition that fuels Godzilla? The NYT identifies them thusly: “Mr. Trump held decisive advantages across almost every demographic group and region and in every ideological wing of the party, the survey found, as Republican voters waved away concerns about his escalating legal jeopardy. He led by wide margins among men and women, younger and older voters, moderates and conservatives, those who went to college and those who didn’t, and in cities, suburbs and rural areas.”
Yup, apparently the MAGA coalition is everyone. It’s the great working-class coalition, or what we have previously called “The Monster Vote.”
DeSantis supporters are a small group. However, if you identify the small coalition of Ron DeSantis supporters from his highest-ranking demo in each category, what you discover is that Ron DeSantis’ most likely voters are: 30- to 44-year-old, rich white men with college degrees who live in the suburbs of the South.
DeSantis identifies with a very specific tribe of selfie-taking beta males, who wear pink clothing and eat crustless triangle cucumber sandwiches at the country club. Or put another way, it’s literally Ron DeSantis himself and his supportive crew of assembled Sea Island billionaires. Funny how that works.
I am going to note there is a data convergence between the Ukraine outcome with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the appearance of Christina Pushaw working for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the odd similarity between the Ukraine election outcome and the U.S. election effort.
An argument could be made that once the finances dry up for DeSantis, his astroturfing influencers will simply disappear. Similarly, once the finances dry up for the war in Ukraine, the war will end.
Without money, ideological efforts cannot survive. Why?…. Because they are not organic, they are manufactured.
OMYGOSH!!!! ROFLOL!!!!! Those meme, or artwork, are HYSTERICAL!!!!!
And accurate.
As I mowed yesterday, by default I subjected myself to Buck and Clay. It angers me to listen to those fools simp for DeSanctus. It’s obvious they choose the callers carefully, they’d never let a caller call out Buck for being in the pics of the DeSanctus simp crew of “influencers” Sundance exposed months ago.
As a result of Sundance’s sunlight, they would never allow a caller to point out that Rush on many occasions would refer to articles by “Sundance over at The Conservative Treehouse”, or refer to an article from here.
They claim 50% of their audience is in the tank for Trump, and 50% are against Trump and for another candidate. They’re either lying, or a huge percentage of Rush’s audience has gone elsewhere. I suspect a combination of both.
“A coalition of sentiments is not for the interest of printers. They live by the zeal they can kindle and the schisms they can create.
“The printers can never leave us in a state of perfect rest and union of opinion. They would be no longer useful and would have to go to the plough.”
–Thomas Jefferson to Elbridge Gerry, 1801
These guys are bad news. One exception: Clay, when Buck was on his honeymoon, went into a rant or two that showed an outstanding grasp of our current status with our government and how to deal with it. NOTHING since that one instance.
They do not prepare, especially Buck, spend their time reiterating internet “news” articles and short-shrift their callers in ways that are downright insulting.
They have no original or insightful content at all; and where Rush was the gold standard for domestic political analysis, these guys have no more idea of what is going on than Kamala does.
They will not touch the 2020 election. Buck even said once that Trump lost because he lost the farm vote…which tells me that there is a strong influence to softly and slowly turn the audience as far away from critical thinking as possible.
They are really bad. Really bad.
One suggestion to solve the “mystery”, friend:
Have you considered that “campaigns” like [DUH-San-Tis] have people who get payed to call in/write to popular shows, to “influence” the “narrative” and “perspective”?
Oh yes, many of the callers hating on Trump and pushing Ron! I’m sure are paid trolls.
Rush always called them “seminar callers”.
I never missed a Rush broadcast unless I was incapacitated somehow. I listened to those guys once. Pickings are slim these days, but I mostly gravitate to Wilkow. My heart still aches for losing Rush.
Thank you for mentioning Rush. I miss him, too. He changed my life by articulating my core beliefs in a way that I could not myself. He brought into focus the merits of conservative ideology and American values. The country was well served by this courageous man and I’m sure there are many who post on these pages who would agree. I DO recall the first time i heard his voice as he joked so many times. He had me from “hello”.
Ditto that Patricia!
Thank you for mentioning Wilkow. The man who precedes him on SiriusXM, David Webb, is no slouch either.
And Jesse Kelly.
Another “former” CIA liar
Clay and Buck are merely RINO, controlled resistance. They in no way, shape or form are worthy of Rushes show or time slot. I listened to them for their first week and never since. Buck used to be a CIA agent, you don’t need to know anything else to know he is a deep stater.
Why mess up an enjoyable time mowing by listening to those crank pots?
People that loved and respected Rush have moved on from Clay and Buck. Clay in early 2021 in Franklin, TN at a Jack Johnson Fund Raiser, “We need to move on from the 2020 Election.” That is Clay’s true colors. Clay is not MAGA. Clay is UniParty.
I regularly listened to Rush. One of a kind. Never bothered with Buck and Clay.
Who chose those two idiots to take Rush’s place? Controlled opposition, boring, and not funny at all.
im saddened these two clowns got Rush’s spot. It’s RINO central instead of the EIB now
Nothing like a good laugh in the morning.
NYT using strangeness for pronunciation.
Particularly meatball starts with “Duh”
T.R.U.M.P!
SD, thank you for this good cheer!
NYT’s description of MAGA base who support president Trump put to rest the long-held lie that Trump supporters are lowly uncouth working class people who don’t have higher education degrees.
>>>> Sundance: “….. that Ron DeSantis’ most likely voters are: 30- to 44-year-old, rich white men with college degrees who live in the suburbs of the South.” <<<<
Not just rich white men, apparently rich white women too, when you look at the data. But Pence (!) attracted more women votes for some unfathomable reason.
The professional Left excels at calling We the People names. I’m old enough to remember Obama calling me a “Bitter Clinger” and a “tea bagger”. then he asked for both my money and my vote. I’m old enough to remember Hillary Clinton calling me “Deplorable” and “Irredeemable”. she then asked for my money and my vote. I’m old enough to recall Joe Biden calling me “the dregs of society”. He then asked for my money and my vote. Forrest Gump: “And just like that everybody forgot that Biden called a girl a lying dog-faced pony soldier to her face.”
I’ve yet to run into a Duh-Santis voter and we’re in the Deep South!
The rich white women may see Pence as a challenge, Pence with his impeccable Pharisee-ish moral standards.
Pence? I always viewed him as someone who should not be within 500 yards of an elementary school. Something about the guy just bugged me from the start. He looked too much like a Romney clone.
Where was the poll conducted? Nationwide? New York State? New York City?
It was a nationwide poll.
Godzilla is the people’s monster.
I am looking forward to NYT writing the reasons Trump won the election.
Every time I read one of these articles about Ron! I just have to laugh. At this rate Ron! will soon be joining the other ‘under 5 percenters!’ President Trump, Godzillla, MAGA, Monster Vote, I’m all in!
The answer is TURNOUT!
I heard some interesting stats on a FlashPoint broadcast Sunday night. Seems that one election cycle, HRC had a huge turnout and her next time out, 92% of those who voted for her the first time turned out.
For President Trump, of those who voted for him in 2016, only 72% turned out in 2020. It’s ALL ABOUT TURNOUT!
Also, Mike Lindell is having a broadcast in mid August. Go sign up to see it. Doesn’t cost anything. We simply MUST have clean elections. He and Jay Valentine have been working tirelessly. After the election, even though facts are revealed, it’s too late.
K, do you have a link for this broadcast? Much appreciated!
President Trump did not lose because of turnout. He didn’t lose at all. Perhaps the word should be turn off because that’s what they did to fix the machines in favor of a loser.
Ramalamadingdong is good, but RamaSwampy fits better.
Consider the meme potential of an old song, it’s posted in this thread.
Doubtless we’ll use them all, just as we do with Runt DuhSanctus.
Variety is the spice of strife!
OK, this was a poll of likely “republican” voters; which would include me, but I’m really a TRUMP VOTER and due to circumstances beyond our control I’m forced to be a “republican voter”. My bet is this; remove the structural political label and the broad support across every segment of society will still include TRUMP VOTERS.
this poll actually puts the lie to the myth that “Trump can win in the General Election”. Refer anyone who says this to this poll.
I believe you missed a “not” in the myth you cited, unintentionally reversing your meaning, but I’m giving you a thumbs up anyway because you seem sane and I’m certain it was an oversight.
They do do a lot of lying, don’t they?
Have to approach every assertion of fact with a gimlet eye.
It is fascinating how so many people with ZERO chance of winning the republican nomination have interjected themselves as disrupters into this game. The amount of time and effort these fakes must deploy to look serious is huge, and yet they get used as disposable fodder.
…but they are making MONEY doing it…and raising their profile for future income.
There is no Republican Primary. The twice-elected President, Donald J. Trump, is simply waiting to serve the second term to which he is entitled. The question is: Will WE THE PEOPLE- the “Monster Vote”- compel the usurpers to submit to our will?
All of history to come is calling upon us to do just that.
” republican playdough candidates…” Too funny, too true!
I miss Rush everyday! Some times I had to pull off the road he had me laughing so hard!!!! Rush was right and so prescient . My new go to is Wilcow super smart guy and great insights but can get a little worked up but who can’t during these insane times we live in!!!!
Hispanics at 68%, crushing every other demographic. They don’t buy into “muh racisms” BS about Trump — the border wall or anything else — and just see a man being persecuted for standing up to corruption.
“DeSantis identifies with a very specific tribe of selfie-taking beta males, who wear pink clothing and eat crustless triangle cucumber sandwiches at the country club.”
ROTFLMFAO!
Proposal:
A defensive move to block anticipated lies about the electability of Trump:
What:
The Trump team conducts a national poll listing all candidates for President. It will reveal his position (which we assume will be favorably high).
The Purpose:
Counteracting the false poll result of the manufactured media which are intended to move the public as opposed to informing the public.
The Proof:
After the release of the Trump poll, the fakers will attack his methodology, of course. Thereafter, Trump reveals method employed to guarantee validity of the results, thereby shaming the shameless (think O.M.G. method).
How To Do It:
Uhh, I don’t know – but don’t hire from the standard pool of pollsters. Nobody trusts them. Maybe locate and hire from a pool of independent CPA’s across the nation. Don’t tell them who the client is that is sponsoring the poll. Tell them accuracy is tantamount. Show them how to choose random names but don’t give them names to contact. Repeat this poll each week or two for a track of the movement of of opinions.
The Revelation and the Results:
Ten days or two weeks before the Election, reveal the results. Stand strong on the validity of the method in saturation advertising. State loudly that any contrary vote counting will be considered evidence of fraud.

I’m just imagining the person having to type this in at the NYT. It is a beautiful beautiful thing!!!!!
“Mr.
Pence is a nothing a two faced back stabber
