CTH has said for a year the Achilles heel Ron DeSantis carries, the weak spot that outlines his neocon nature, becomes extremely visible on the subject of Ukraine.
Twice previously, DeSantis has tried to walk the tightrope and navigate his lies surrounding the Ukraine war. Each time he outlines something that leans toward Ukraine needing to concede to Russia and NATO needing to stop meddling on Russia borders, he immediately walks back his comments. DeSantis is stuck on the issue of Ukraine because DeSantis cannot be honest about his position on Ukraine.
Today in South Carolina [Forbes got the state wrong in the title] the issue of Ukraine surfaced in a public Q&A (video below), and both times DeSantis ducked, obfuscated, distracted and refused to answer the question. The second person asked more directly, “What are you going to do about the war in Ukraine?”, because DeSantis never answered the first questioner. WATCH [prompted to 01:08:23]

Only Donald Trump has the solution to the Ukraine war. (1) Stop NATO, namely U.S. created, from provoking nonsense antagonisms on Russia’s border; and (2) Force Zelenskyy to the negotiation table of reality. The Ukraine war stops immediately the day after the 2024 election, if Trump wins.
However, Ron DeSantis cannot take that attitude or foreign policy approach. DeSantis must maintain the approved Republican pro-war narrative as outlined by Democrats, Republicans, UniParty, and the DC political leadership writ large. The DC position on the Ukraine war is all about money; DeSantis must maintain that policy.

DeSantis has been a neocon since long before his attempt at the presidency. As a new Congressman in 2013 he sent a letter to the Obama administration calling for the US to work harder to integrate Ukraine into Europe.

The American People have a moral imperative to vote for the candidate who will end the Ukraine War. That candidate is found solely in former President Donald John Trump.

Yesterday, our closest married couple said they are voting for Ron in primary because he needs to beat Trump by a wide margin. That way, Trump will concede and tell his supporters to accept the defeat and not riot.
On the ride home, my wife said she was shocked that I didn’t say anything to them. Told her at that moment, I realized just how weak so many good people are & there’s no way Trump will be inaugurated in 2025 – so no point of trying to explain the RDS fraud for the fifth time to this couple.
You repeat it ad nausea over and over and over and over. And over and over. You don’t do it for the fools you are friend with (I have similarly foolish friends) you do it for the third party listening in on your conversation.
Giving up is not the answer.
You will always have some people that vote for the GOP just because they’re the GOP. Just like the Democrats will vote for a corrupt pedophile with dementia just because he has DNC behind his name. They don’t have any real values they live by in life. They only live to see the party wins. Nothing else matters.
But the days of unfettered party loyalty are over since Trump came along and showed us there was another way. If the GOP and its religious adherents believe we will show any party loyalty in any election going forward, they are sadly mistaken and are headed for a brutal reality check.
I’m voting only Trump just because he’s the only candidate that’s not corrupt, and if the GOP faithfuls don’t have the sense to see how valuable that quality is to the GOP and instead proceed to elect more corruption, they will lose our votes forever. You can’t fix corruption by electing more corruption, and we refuse to be a party to that.
I truly believe the GOP has just entered its death throes.
Those two groups of people are and have been party line voters for their entire lives. Most were taught by their fathers and mothers which party to vote for. These are still very large segments of the overall voting population. What they have in common with each other is that this is the extent of their participation in American politics and that they have never been interested in anything beyond their own surroundings.
They will never change, since most will never be able to get beyond what they learned in grammar school. The really sad part about them is both groups represent a combined half of all of the voters. Party loyalty isn’t obstinate party loyalty for these people because, for all they care, this is what to do every four years in case you get asked who you voted for. Many of these voters are just as glad to sell their votes for a joint or a beer.
We will never penetrate the skull regions of these dopes. This cannot be fixed because stupid cannot be fixed.

What are we doing to get Donald Trump’s acceptance levels with the electorate so that he can actually win the General election. He will dust off the GOPe in the Primary season because he is supported by clear majorities of Republican voters nationwide, but Republican voters don’t amount to more than 1/3 of all the voters. With the other 2/3 of voters, Trump is currently way behind so that he never polls more than 45% of all voters. This is the reason the GOPe is in full blown operational mode to undermine Trump before the Primary season is over. They will fail, but if all we worry about is the GOPe candidate, we aren’t looking for voters in the right places yet. This looks like a train wreck for everyone except the Demcommies, who are expecting to win with whomever they choose to install as our President at their own nominating convention. Again, what are we doing to find voters for the MAGA cause in the general election next year?
