I suffered a work related head injury in 2013 and later developed post concussion syndrome with PTSD. So I feel that I have some insight into his situation. He looks like he’s lost and is suffering from brain fog and he looks like he doesn’t know what to do about it. As such, he probably shouldn’t be in that situation because it is overwhelming him. Which means that he is unfit for duty and should probably be at home resting and giving his overworked brain a rest. Considering his age, his head injury will be a game changer for him and judging by the look on his face he is probably beginning to realize that. Unfortunately for him he has made the decision to return to work when he’s obviously not ready to do so. The first thing that needs to be done when a person suffers a brain injury is to look into the mirror and acknowledge that you are not yourself and you need help. With his overblown ego he is probably unable and unwilling to do that, because if he does it will mean the end of his political career. He probably did not see his career ending in this manner and as such he will be unwilling to step aside and do what is best for his personal health …. get lots of rest and do as little as possible. My personal thoughts on this is that he is in a bad situation that will only get worse. It looks like all of his bad behaviour over the decades has finally caught up to him.

Fully agree, Charlie. We have watched this video in full screen mode 4 times now. One of us suffered through temporary neurological damage from lyme disease. He almost started crying (as did I), because it triggered memories of the incredibly helpless feeling that “things weren’t connecting” like they are supposed to. Thank God it was temporary.
Please do not misunderstand. As much as we despise what Mitch has done to this country, the Senators should never have dragged him out like this, and it is an equally horrible reflection on them. They should know there are people watching this video, that would be able to partially assess what’s happening with Mitch. He did blink and move his eyes, so his eye muscles are working. But the muscles surrounding his mouth barely moved, and a couple times he seemed to swallow in a difficult way. But that vacant look in his eyes seems to indicate he does not fully understand what all is happening.
No further comment necessary on his hair, new glasses, skin changes, or who actually wrote the tweet on his account. Am wondering if there is further video footage available of this event.
For sure Ross, I watched it several times myself and he definitely appears to be struggling with the little things. You would think that a person in his position would have access to professional and competent medical services that would advice him to take it easy. I’m sure that there is more video out there and there will probably be more to come if he continues to make public appearance’s. See what happens.
What you wrote is very thoughtful and profound. And it made me think of Joe Biden and how it is so cruel and disrespectful for his family and friends to continue to put him out there to be mocked.
It is quite obvious that Biden should NOT be POTUS. He shouldn’t even be in the WH. He is cognitively a mess, and although it’s funny to poke fun at him, he is experiencing what many elderly folks experience. My father (83-years old) is one of them. He is in early stages of dementia, and it is heartbreaking.
I make cracks about Biden because he is destroying this country, and he lies every single time he opens his mouth. But the truth is, people like Mitch and Joe should just retire. They are hurting this country. They have put their egos above the safety and wellbeing of our country.
Maybe not at trip and fall … a stroke and fall.
What Mitch is stating clearly for all to hear is Russia must be punished for taking the World off of US Dollar reserve system.
