After attempting to navigate through the politics in order to curry favor with the base Republican voters on a Ukraine position, when confronted by Piers Morgan who is a pro-NATO war voice, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis now says his former position on Ukraine has been “mischaracterized” and Vladimir Putin “is a war criminal.”
The walk back highlights once again that Ron DeSantis is an empty vessel using poll testing to formulate his policy stances.
The reversing comments on Vladimir Putin and Ukraine come from the interview DeSantis gave to Piers Morgan as noted in a recent New York Post article:
(Piers Morgan, NY Post) – Floridaโs Gov. Ron DeSantis has branded Vladimir Putin a โwar criminalโ and demanded he be โheld accountableโ for his barbaric invasion of Ukraine.
Taking a tougher tone from his statement last week appearing to dismiss the year-long war as a โterritorial dispute,โ DeSantis now says Russia was WRONG to invade Ukraine and was WRONG to invade and take over Crimea in 2014, and wonโt win the war. And heโs made his strongest attack yet on Russiaโs dictator, calling him a loser who is โbasically a gas station with a bunch of nuclear weapons.โ
His assertion, in a statement to Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, that it is not in Americaโs โvital national interestsโ to become โfurther entangled in a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russiaโ was strongly criticized by numerous senior Republicans โ including Sen. Lindsey Graham and Sen. Marco Rubio.
When I asked him specifically if he regretted using the phrase โterritorial dispute,โ DeSantis replied, โWell, I think itโs been mischaracterized. Obviously, Russia invaded (last year) โ that was wrong. They invaded Crimea and took that in 2014 โ That was wrong.
[…] โThere is a move now to hold [Vladimir Putin] accountable for war crimes,โ I told DeSantis, โbombing maternity hospitals and genocidal activity in parts of Ukraine wiping out whole cities like Mariupol. Would you support that?โ
โI think he is a war criminal,โ he replied. โThis ICC โฆ we have not done that in the US because weโre concerned about our soldiers or people being brought under it. So, I donโt know about that route, but I do think that he should be held accountable.โ DeSantis is convinced Ukraine will eventually prevail in the war. (read more)
The DeSantis team has also hired the notorious dirtbag, Jeff Roe.
You might remember Roe as the former 2016 campaign manager for Ted Cruz who falsely told the people of Iowa, on the night before the primary caucus, that Dr. Ben Carson dropped out of the race.ย The Cruz Crew amplified this false message, and duped Carson caucus supporters who subsequently switched candidates on election day to support Ted Cruz.ย Jeff Roe created the lie, then tried to deny it.
(Via Politico) – […] Jeff Roe, who previously ran Sen. Ted Cruzโs 2016 presidential campaign, has signed on to be an adviser to the super PAC, Never Back Down, according to an operative with direct knowledge of the move.
Never Back Down is being spearheaded by executive director Chris Jankowski, another seasoned Republican operative. Ken Cuccinelli, a former top Homeland Security official to Donald Trump, is serving as chair of the super PAC. Over the last several weeks, Cuccinelli has visited four key early GOP primary states. (read more)
A DeSantis political group that would hire Jeff Roe highlights, yet again, how the DeSantis 2024 campaign is a mirror of Ted Cruz campaign in 2016.
Factually, almost all of the 2016 never-Trump Cruz Crew are now members of the 2024 never-Trump Desantis Crew.ย ย To assist this overall ‘never-Trump’ endeavor, in 2024 Vivek Ramaswamy is now playing the former role of Evan McMullin in 2016.
The professional political class of the GOPe, the DeceptiCons, are never as vicious against Democrats as they are against candidates who do not conform to the Republican UniParty orthodoxy.ย ย If you want to see the Republicans fight dirty, just become a Republican political candidate that does not comply with them.ย Then, and only then, will you see a side of the Republican wing that doesn’t surface against Democrats.
Threaten their GOPe Wall Street multinational corporate interests, ie. ‘their money‘, and the DeceptiCons get vicious.
If the professional Republicans are NOT targeting a Republican politician, you can be assured that Republican politician is a member of the GOPe club operation.
Yes, it really is that simple, and Ron DeSantis is a member of that club.
Anyone who applies the term ‘war criminal’ to a foreigner, has guano for brains. Kinda like those who say ‘assault weapons’, ‘she has a penis’,’save the planet’, abortion is health care’ and on and on and on.
Any Bushite who applies the term ‘war criminal’ to a foreigner should look closer at hand.
Speaking of neocons, I found this essay by SempliciusTheThinker
https://simplicius76.substack.com/p/how-the-ussrs-fall-unleashed-a-neocon
It is a nice way to begin to understand how neocons think and the “why” of all these damned wars.
In that article is a link to where Putin declared war on the Straussians; not you and me, the Straussians.
People like Bill Kristol, Irving Kristol, Krauthammer, Wolfowithz, Victoria Nuland, etc….
Together, the articles provide a why to both the proxy war in Ukraine, but also for geopolitical strategies and actions of “our government” for at least 50 years.
It is an eye-opener. You will never look at a map the same again, nor will you read the news the same way again.
for example, the failure to recruit into the armed forces of the american empire is not going very well for the straussians.
stuff like that.
Nice pick of examples. The Kristols – ugh. The late, sometimes good Kraut lost favor quickly, and the Wolf and Nuland are just shameless. I could go onโฆโฆ.
The entire Kagan Cult are sociopaths.
Great read. Brzezinski and Obama made for a fine handoff from Bush.
A terrific read. Thanks for posting
I do not have the exact definition of “war criminal”. I also do not have information on the specifics of this war, such as what battles are being fought and who is winning them. The accusation of Russia kidnapping Ukrainian children is disgusting and horrifying. I do not know the validity of those accusations. Russia did invade and claim Crimea and parts of Georgia and now eastern Ukraine. These are willful acts of aggression. Putin may be a war criminal. As I said, I don’t know. I do know he has taken land from other countries without their consent. He is not a good guy. Does President Trump agree that Putin has the right to take anything he wants because his country is more powerful than those he has invaded? Show me where President Trump has said that, please. I do not think he has.
The residents of East Ukraine are Russians. Since the US engineered Maidan coup in 2014 the nationalist Ukrainians have shelled and terrorized Donbass civilians. Many families chose to move away to Russia to leave an active war zone, since 2014, when the violence against Russians started. The kids in question are orphans who were moved out of the violent environment into Russia. The war crimes are by the US puppet government and funded by our government.
The history of that area of the world is deep and tangled. That is a major problem, and I it. There are Russians that live in the US. Does that give Putin the right to come and claim that land? Believe me when I say, I do not trust Biden and his regime to do anything correctly I do not believe anything he says. As a result, I am very wary of us being involved. We cannot make every unjust action by other people in this world just again. If we had different leaders in this country, whom I could trust, I would feel differently. But as it is, I canโt believe anything anyone is telling me. But I can see with my own eyes that Putin with his invasion, and it is his invasion, is causing, tremendous death, pain, and insecurity in the world.
Investigate Victoria Nuland and the 2014 OโBiden coup de tรกt in Kiev.
Read Putinโs actual speech recently. Heโs standing up for virtue, religion (especially Christianity,) and family values. Heโs just as dismayed at whatโs happening to our culture as we are.
He also defines that the enemy is Deep State and not the American people.
Now that you can see how bad the propaganda is, itโs always been that way. I am afraid youโve believed the lie of โRussia BAD!โ You know how itโs always watch the other hand, why isnโt โChina BAD!!!,โ too?
Not saying Putin is a good guy, but if you review the activities of our CIA over the past decades, the rest of the world has every right to point out โAmericaโsโ crimes – because theyโve been as evil as anything Putin has ever done.
https://southfront.org/putins-key-speech-to-russian-parliament-updates/
Will look for that speech, thank you. Have heard Putin in other such talks, and yeah — I’ve heard him stand up for a lot that I believe in. Is it propaganda? I mean, more than we hear in this country? Who knows? But in this country, saying those things will bring you grief; can’t help that it impresses me to hear a leader (other than PDT) saying such things outright.
Thanks for the link. The speech by Putin has already been translated into English. What makes you certain of the veracity of the translation? As far as Putin criticizing the Western leftist’s assault on Judeo-Christian morality, assuming the translation is accurate, I agree wholeheartedly!
Don’t for get the MANY US Biolabs stationed very close to the Ukraine/Russian border.
Yes, and strangely, doesn’t the Biden administration claim those are Russian? Or did they say they were Ukrainian and that the US had to protect the labs from the Russians? I do not believe the Biden administration.
Cdor1, respectfully I don’t think you have a full understanding of the situation. Do one thing: go to YouTube and watch videos by Patrick Lancaster. Patrick Lancaster is an American, former Navy guy, married to an Ukrainian woman, that lives in the Donbass. He has been documenting what has been happening there for over 8 years. What you will see through his on-the-ground video reporting is something that you will not see in the Western media. The idea that Ukraine is wearing a white hat and Russia is wearing a black hat is a straight up lie. If you want to get to the truth go to Patrick Lancaster’s channel on YouTube. One caution, some of these videos are rough. But you will see how the Ukrainians have been killing and maiming men, women, old people, children. Candidly, I don’t go to Patrick’s channel as often as I used to because as I’ve gotten older it really disturbs me to see scenes like that.
I agree entirely. I do not have a full understanding, Everything I have posted is an attempt to relay that fact, along with my difficulty in believing much of the information that I am receiving. I have found the Lancaster YouTube channel. Interestingly he ended one of his videos ( the house in Donbas that had been destroyed ) with a warning. “Don’t believe much of what you hear.” would be my paraphrase of what he said. Thanks for turning me on to his channel.
You’re nothing short of an obtuse idiot that just see’s what you want to see and nothing more. Go post your low IQ comments somewhere else, like HuffPo.
If I sound mean, tough cookie. I’ve had it with morons that watch MSM liars. Can’t you research anything? It’s easy to find if your not too lazy to put out a little effort.
WTF is a perfect pseudonym. Thanks for sharing.
Well said.
Thanks for your reply. Nicely stated, but you offer no evidence. Lack of real evidence is pretty much the problem with both sides of this discussion.
Do some more reading, watching and listening. The truth is out there. Ask Fox Mulder.
The problem is that WE started the war. In 2014, the CIA and partners overthrew the government of Ukraine and installed a puppet government that was hostile to Russia. In addition to that, the new government immediately started to agitate for joining NATO and with backing from the U.S./ NATO, began enlarging their military.
The Russians at the time of the overthrow spoke to the U.S. State Department and were told that they would have to move the Black Sea Fleet. Well Putin said nuts to that and took action to secure the fleet and the land bases near it which of course entailed securing the Crimea. You can call this aggression but don’t tell me the U.S. would have acted differently in a similar situation.
A short time after the coup in Ukraine the Donbass and the people living there, most of whom speak Russian, were declared enemies of Ukraine. Since 2014 about 15,000 to 20,000 civilians have been killed by the Ukraine military. The Russians started to provide military aid to the Donbass while at the same time trying to get the Minsk agreements adhered to. The rest is history and here we are.
If the Russians or Chinese overthrew the government of Canada and installed one hostile to the U.S. and threatened to bring them into a hostile military alliance, against the U.S., the U.S. would react much more brutally than the Russians.
You see we are the “baddies” now. By the way, the Ukrainians are never going to win their sovereignty by fighting the Russians because the Russians did not take it from them. We did.
You have posted some helpful explanations, George:
“The problem is that WE started the war. In 2014, the CIA and partners overthrew the government of Ukraine and installed a puppet government that was hostile to Russia. In addition to that, the new government immediately started to agitate for joining NATO and with backing from the U.S./ NATO, began enlarging their military.”
I would say that this is a factually accurate statement, with the exception that WE started the war, which is a conclusion that may be true. I searched for time periods of the Ukrainian overthrow of the duly elected government, whose President leaned toward Russia, with the Russian invasion of Crimea. Both events occurred in February 2014. The timetable supports your second paragraph.
I don’t believe the entire death toll (which appears to be accurate) can be blamed on the Ukrainian military. Both the Russians and the Ukrainians are, pretty much, equally to blame.
At this point, considering how little Biden respects our own national borders, I am not sure what he would do if the Chinese overthrew the Canadian government. Probably, he would applaud. But not the Russians. The Biden regime doesn’t like Russians.
This discussion has been helpful to me. It is reinforcing my belief that we should not be supporting either side in this war. If Biden and his crew weren’t such complete screw-ups, evidenced by the Afghanistan pullout and pushing Saudi Arabia into an accord with Iran and by his own recorded statements, either directly, or indirectly being responsible for blowing up the Russian pipeline and, before that, killing our own pipeline, I could hope for the US being the peacemaker in this dispute. But I do not believe our current administration is capable.
Your last statement about the Russians not taking sovereignty from Ukraine…eh, I’m not so sure about that.
see a comment by Brian Simpson..reason why VVP did move children/orphans from war zone…btw..you are very uneducated about UKRAINE what happen there since coup in Feb.2014…saaad
“To assist this overall โnever-Trumpโ endeavor, in 2024 Vivek Ramaswamy is now playing the former role of Evan McMullin in 2016.”
I’ve been trying to get a bearing on this guy. Sundance certainly knows their approach pattern. That helps a lot understanding who put him where for what.
BEWARE RAMASWAMY!
Ramaswamy is slick, intelligent and adept at rallying intellect and emotion against the economic and social war on America. He is also quite smooth, making it all look like political circumstance and a confluence of events rather than a zero-sum globalist war on us.
I was disappointed to see Jordan Petersen fall for Ramaswamy’s intellectual deceit. However, this video gives insight into just how well they’ve groomed, prepped and positioned Ramaswamy.
Peterson is a work in progress politically. He’s apparently finally stopped bashing Trump and begun praising some of his accomplishments. He’s slowly getting who the American MAGA patriot is and why Trump is a necessary element in getting our Country back on track. He deserves kudos for dropping the academic snobbery and admitting he was wrong.
I agree. Jordan Petersen is a force for good – an amazing mind. I do believe God has put him here at this time for a reason. Petersen knows well “the man who just wants to be left alone”. I sense, and pray, his depth of analysis will soon come to see what “Main Street” is, that this is about liberty not politics, and why Trump is a leader of freemen.
Jared Peterson is a frequently psychotic parseltongue shaman. He would be the last person I would trust as a spokesperson advocating for MAGA anything.
Especially since he signed up for the Daily Wire and started spouting ADL Internet censorship nonsense.
He certainly has Trudeauโs number. I like the guy even though he is not a big fan of Trump. I cannot wait to heat his views on Ron after the last couple of weeks. What a deflated balloon.
He’s the “”Fishy” Rishi Sunak, of the United States. There’s no “there”, there.
I get that same vibe.
I haven’t been on the site like I used to… but man, I’ve been wanting to see what the room thinks about Ramaswamy.
He’s come out of nowhere (to me), seems too good to be true, and I see folks falling for it everywhere. Saying all the right things, breaking down and analyzing 2015-2016 in an effort to create a President Trump designer scent that passes for the real thing. He’s got the red tie, not a politician, etc… my Spidey sense goes into overdrive when I hear him talk.
I feel like the establishment is moving in behind him, switching gears and using what they’ve learned from our reactions to DeSantis to better derail the movement. But maybe they’ve been there all along, I’m just figuring it out.
All I know is that I totally agree with Sundance. If the RINOs aren’t making noise, they see a friend. We saw how the Swamp reacted to MAGA in President Trump… if DeSantis or Ramaswamy were cut from the same cloth, they’d be throwing the kitchen sink at them, not featuring them on Faux News.
I listened to the entire podcast as I am not at all familiar with Mr. Ramaswamy. I very much enjoyed it.
He has a brilliant mind, and is an articulate deep thinker who can conceptualize and then apply those concepts to issues.
I was not aware that he has a business background, is an entrepreneur, worked in the financial industry and is an author.
His campaign will certainly be run differently than any other candidates. He writes his own speeches, does not use a teleprompter, and intends to speak truthfully and from the heart.
He makes interesting comments on the Conservative movement and their lack of vision and creativity. Says they are recycling 40 year old stagnant ideas and slogans.
Lots of content packed into this podcast. Definitely worth listening to his viewpoints and learn a bit about him.

Ron needs to focus on the insurance market in Florida, and stop letting the lawyers run up the tab. In some areas, they are down to one HO company, and it’s owned by the State. He’s had the opportunity to fix this with Patronis and the legislature, but instead he focuses on passing out checks to voters, and selling his book, I mean running, not running for President. He holds his finger in the wind to determine the position of the day. Not what you need in a leader. You can’t fake authenticity.
Ron is too busy focusing on Ron to worry about Floridians.
They want us out of our single family homes and into urban corridors.
Federal insurance regulations and policies have long been aligned with Agenda 21/2030 goals of urban high density populations. It is “Regulatory Taking”. All coastal areas are targeted, as are remote properties, dry regions, suburbs close to urbanization zones. Using risk ratings, premium hikes, federal “zone” manipulations and federal insurance subsidy manipulations, property is essentially taken.
Regulatory taking via insurance rates is far more sinister than eminent domain because, one loses their home but is still on the hook to pay the mortgage and the property insurance.
Good observation about the “takings”, BUT … Florida gets BAD hurricanes. Lived through many. Very costly to repair, AND bring repaired properties up to code.
It’s like living on the San Andreas Fault (as I also did for a while).
If you choose to live in an inherently uninsurable are, you have to pay the price. If you can’t pay it, go elsewhere.
This need to focus on insurance should be an imperative for Ron. I keep shouting this but no one cares. He says he loves Florida but he has forsaken the State for the lure of brighter lights and a bigger house.
This is pretty bad…his quote is right straight out of the deep state/administrations talking points…it is their main thrust. He is clearly being instructed.
My guess is that he is probably not “running”, but is there for the deep state and the GOPe to test Trump, maybe dirty him up a little, and based on reactions, hone their strategy to defeat him or eliminate him as a candidate.
Ron (I love the “Meatball” moniker…his “campaign” is looking more and more like that) will bail using the Florida “resign to run” law as his excuse, once they find find they can’t make a dent in Trump. Otherwise his career is shot.
Of course, if something happens to Trump, illness or worse, he is positioned to take over, so that’s kind of a stopgap, but unless they can force something, like a total discrediting of Trump, or nature intervenes, DeSantis will have to drop out and the GOPe will be toast, at least for a while.
Meatball Ron is already blacklisted for life, he just doesn’t know it yet (but will soon enough).
It’s funny, I got roasted on GWP the other day when I commented that Rhonda will soon “grow in office” on the Ukraine issue. Even I didn’t think Slick Rick would do his 180 on the issue so quickly LOL.
Big mistake if Ron thinks he will be the heir apparent to the MAGA movement and that MAGA voters will automatically fall in line behind him.
Funny how the establishment keeps acting like “See? It’s not MAGA ideas we don’t like—It’s Trump!” by bringing in others with those same ideas, when we all know that yeah, it’s MAGA ideas that they don’t like — and are scared to death of. And they know PDT is the only one who’ll stick to them.
I ran for MD state senate in 2006 and for county commissioner in 2010. Each time, the Republicans did me dirty. They even went to my home town in Western PA asking questions. They were run out of town!
The Republican printing company mailed my flyers to the wrong district a week before the election so there wasn’t enough time to send to the correct district. I got a refund but lost the election.
There is no sunshine between the two parties-I’ve said this since my Tea Party days.
It’s us against them-WE are the only ones who can change any of this.
I used Next Door to create a group just for my neighborhood and I control who is allowed into the group. If each of us does something similar, we can change hearts and minds one neighborhood at a time. My premise is to get my neighborhood lean on each other, become a full neighborhood who watches out for each other, knows who’s supposed to be walking our streets, let the dog out, grab a grocery order, mow a lawn for someone who no longer can…you know, be neighborly!

Just my two cents…
Spot on. Most states have Organized their R and D parties to play out the way they want so control is always the same people

Thanks for sharing your experience Michelle. The conservative establishment is the biggest enemy to conservative voters.
Good advice.
Wonderfully subversive!

Right on the money.
The midterms were an excellent example of that. Mitch refusing funds and endorsements. But the worst was criticizing the caliber of the candidates. He may look like a turtle but he’s a grade a viper.
Heard a political consultant type on talk radio saying how the candidates (esp Lake) were unacceptable– his proof? “Well, it’s obvious–McConnell just pulled a million dollars out of AZ.” Geesh! Talk about falling for the narrative….
The real criminals are the entire Biden family with Sleepy in the lead, when he told Putin he could take a part of Ukraine.
This encroachment to WW III, to protect the Dem and Republican money laundering machine that is Ukraine, is now beyond good sense. I donโt give a fig what Mizz Lindsey and Romney say.
Allow Ukraine return to being the breadbasket of Europe. They are responsible for their own future, not us.
Agreed! We shouldnโt care if Ukraine is Europes bread basket or not. If allowed to, our farmers could bury their whole country under 6 feet of grain.
For now, yes.
DeSantis would be well advised to agree with Trump on the Ukraine/USA vs Russia war. If he back peddles on this, he will have no chance in any of the primaries. He should know this, and if he doesn’t, he will never have a chance to get my vote. In addition to slaughtering the Collectivist Oligarchy next year, we will have to support someone who opposes the insane Obama/Biden foreign policy nightmare. So far, it looks like President Trump is our only hope.
I am uncomfortable about our chances to ever win a future election with President Trump, given that election reform isn’t even on the table in most States, but I have no qualms about voting for common sense over Collectivist “clap trap”, a phrase Marx used about his hated Capitalists. If this isn’t a battle against Communism, I will eat my hat.
God will show us the way, if He wants to help us. I keep praying for that.
It is worse than Communism. Its totalitarian global governance – neofascism. Financial monopolies like BlackRock control availability of global capital. Blackrock picks “the winners”. The winners flush with cash secure monopoly positions and align with the globalist agenda (think ESG). They buy the politicians. They write the laws, regulations, trade and energy policy. They buy the enforcers and jailers (DoJ, FBI, Judges).
Know any one except Trump running for President who they don’t own?
Beautifully-said. Yes! It’s “totalitarian global governance” — and yes, with the corporate-government cooperation being used to take away rights (the jab, censorship, woke ads and “equity” hiring), it’s “neofascism.”
A lot of people lately are referencing “communism,” and while we know exactly where they’re going with it, it’s bigger than one “plan” or ideology– it’s anything for the global elite with the rest of us culled unless we provide either necessities for them or amusement.
Otherwise, we’re interchangeable parts to be shoved into urban dystopias “owning nothing” and using mass transit (when we have to leave our homes, which they’ll make sure isn’t often.)
Maybe the Global Elite want to run the show, as they always have, but the Communists are the only political gang who know how to make that happen. The elitists believe world wide crises will result in one Government. Communists know a lot more has to be done to homogenize all of the political power structures around the world for that to happen. The Globalists fly in to their little summits and try to set up an over reaching Oligarchy. The Communists are doing all of the dirty work required to brainwash whole populations and infiltrate their institutions then getting the them to destroy themselves, facilitating a turnover of power to them. This takes planning and the points of attack are different in each country.
Nation States will still exist but the final goal of Communism is the same as the Oligarchs, who will then become the useful idiots of the Communists. Both groups will eventually fail, but not before our Republic sinks into the morass. I would bet on the vast amount of experience the Communists have versus the grandiose scheme of these Oligarchs.
The problem is the warmongers want war and thatโs why they do not want Trump. Wars are a revenue stream for those people. Just look at Lindsey Graham. Everyone in Congress has to raise monies to get re elected. It cost so much monies to run a campaign. Am wondering how many are paying the bad guys to keep winning? Many people are lining their pockets. To me itโs become a game of greed. We are all just by standers who eventually become collateral damage in this game. We really need to be looking out for each otherโs and ourselves. The government is not coming to help.

This is what media-driven politics looks like, and it ain’t pretty.
If it would guarantee a Trump victory, as much as can be expected, in 2024, I can support Ron DeSantis as Trump’s VP.
Can’t imagine the GOP pushing any more of a traitor onto the ticket than they did with Pence – but whatta I know.
Not me. That would ensure they try to take Trump out.
President Trump is my candidate for President in 2024. I was looking at DeSantis as a backup if, Heaven forbid, something happened to President Trump. Not anymore! DeSantis is being groomed by the RINOS and I want no part of that. I don’t even respect DeSantis as our Florida governor anymore. “DESANCTIMONIOUS” is the perfect nickname for him.
There is very little difference between Traitor Chris Sununu and DeSantis, Sununu says he hates MAGA, DeSantis is a little smarter but not by much.
I watch an interesting video on UTube today that said perhaps the powers that be intentionally pushed DeSantis to run to piss off Trump so they would not be on the ticket together. Something they deemed likely unbeatable,.
If they were, DeSantis would be another Pence
Trump is already unbeatable. That is why TPTB had to launch massive election fraud.
According to the Constitution, the President and VP can’t be from the same state.
Incorrect. Read the 12th Amendment again, very carefully this time.

Just shows how good these cats are at acting. As a Republican voter, I’ve cast votes for Bush Jr, McCain, Romney… had no idea how rotten all of them were when I did so.
I really liked DeSantis a couple of years ago. He didn’t bail on us, it was all a production from the start.
“Just shows how good these cats are at acting. As a Republican voter, Iโve cast votes for Bush Jr, McCain, Romneyโฆ had no idea how rotten all of them were when I did so.”
Sorry, I knew EXACTLY how rotten to the core Songbird McCain was when I very reluctantly cast my vote for him in 2008. If I had it to do again, I probably wouldn’t vote. And had the 2016 election been Jeb vs. Hillary, I would not have voted then, either.
I am completely done with this whole lesser-of-two-evils voting for GOPe globalists. Never again.
Appalling judgment by De Santis…Waiting for 2028 was obviously the right move, and instead he jumps into bed with these crooks….
DeSantis – Send you boys to die in Ukraine and pay for it with your tax dollars. Also DeSantis – Biden won fair and square.
Yeah. I’d have more respect if he waited his turn, saying that we have an incumbent and party leader already, who was cheated out of his second term (okay, just say “didn’t get to serve his second term,” if you must)….and then ran in 2028 AFTER being the prototype for a string of MAGA governors and Schmitt-style AG’s across the country. (Oh–and treasurers, too— think of Black Rock.)

When you parse the nuances of Ron’s past actions, statements, etc., there has to be the consideration that he was a uni-party plant and contingency as a congressional member and governor. The event that spiked the plans and caused a rethink of the uni-party strategy was DJT and MAGA winning in 2016 and the positive impact it had on the US citizen across the demographic spectrum going into 2020 plus it’s continued growth. Ron’s current behavior/rhetoric plus his donor’s and staff’s affiliations/political leanings tell you how seriously the uni-party views the threat that DJT and MAGA pose to the uni-party’s agenda and even future existence.

These never mention that it is the Ukrainians doing the bombing of schools and hospitals, they make citizens live in the top floors of apartments while the troops live in the basement so when they get hit the civilians die. That is not Putin.
Ron gets around. He is heading to VA, Liberty U to share his faith. Looking for the young voter.

Even amnesty international documented it. Zelrnsky promptly kicked them out of the country
I still don’t understand why it is so hard for people to turn it off. If a person needs background noise turn on the radio.
Anyone remember how they took down the Tea Party? DeSantis is being willingly handled to do the same to MAGA.
My money is on MAGA taking down DeSantis.
Although, DeSantis seems to be taking himself down.
If I’m a gas station with a bunch of nuclear weapons, I am anything but a LOSER.
It was only a matter of time before DeSantis caved-in and backtracked on his statement to Tucker Carlson. I noticed last night Tucker mocked those people who call Putin a war criminal. I wonder if Tucker’s mockery was intended for DeSantis?
To be fair however there isn’t a politician who won’t cave into the pressure from the war mongers to call Putin a war criminal. In the below interview with Piers Morgan Donald Trump caved in and agreed with Piers that Putin was a “evil genocidal monster”. Trump replied “yeah.. I do … and who wouldn’t”.
Part of the problem is – depending upon the audience – Trump likes to tell people what he thinks they want to hear. In this instance his old pal Piers just characterized Putin as an “evil genocidal monster” and so Trump obliged Piers by agreeing with him.
Whatever you think about Vladimir Putin – he is the furthest thing from a “evil genocidal monster”. Putin intervened in the Donbas precisely to stop the ethnic cleansing that was being carried out by Zelensky – an actual genocide that was taking place with the full support of the United States including the previous Trump administration!
This interview with Piers suggests however an even bigger problem and that is Trump really doesn’t have a clue about what is going on in Ukraine and didn’t have a clue during his entire time as president. Trump mentioned the rockets going into apartment buildings. Does he not know that those rockets – supplied by the U.S. – were being launched by Kiev? Does he not know that those fleeing refugees who were killed were killed by Zelensky’s NAZI militia’s as they tried to flee shelling in the Donbas? NAZI militia’s armed and trained by the United States and it’s NATO allies since 2015?
So in the end it is pretty much a wash. DeSantis called Putin a war criminal. Trump called Putin an evil genocidal monster. Six of one and half a dozen of another. I don’t think either is any good on foreign policy.
During his entire time as president Trump hired just one good descent intelligent person – Col. Doug Macgregor! Unfortunately he only hired MacGregor in the waning weeks of his administration when he should have hired Macgregor as his defense secretary on day one. If I could give advice to Trump it would be to hire Macgregor to advise him during the campaign on foreign policy and I would tell him to STOP watching Sean Hannity from whom it appears he has has been getting his foreign policy direction from (along with Lindsey Graham).
Darn right he was mocking RD!. He just called TC a liar.
TC has the receipts. It was a written survey to 2024 candidates. Just by responding RD! confirmed he was running.
It’s time for Ron DeSoros to move on and find a new grift.
This makes a lot of sense to me now. It is explains why Trump has been so critical of DeSantis. Honestly if a were a Floridian, I would be very upset with DeSantis because he never had any intention to finish out his term as governor . Now he is breaking a Florida law that stipulates that he step down as governor before he can run for a different office. Nothing about how his going about this is looking good for him. He has sold his soul to become president. I donโt like dishonest people and thatโs how this story about the people he has surrounded himself with looks. The Dems need Florida to win the presidency. As soon as he steps down in come the wolfs to cause chaos. Donโt get to comfortable down there in Florida.
The more DeSantis heeds his handlers, the worse he looks.
After watching his latest political shenanigans, don’t care to be in his “Club” either. DeSantis proved again that he’s a snake in wolves clothing. His shift on Ukraine and his adult porn star comment ended any respect for him. ๐
DeSantis appears to be blowing in the wind, and evidently the wind has changed directions several times since he decided to run. It’s not a good look!
He might save himself if he merely said, โIt is quite clear to me that Donald Trump is loved by the base and no one can compete with that. I will keep my promise to work for Floridaโ. Anything else and it is all over for him and he will lose everything.
Thanks, CTH, for some truly sickening information. Damn, when a politician says he was “mischaracterized,” don’t they realize that’s a “tell” that they’re being disingenuous?
Another modern American statesman steeped in the art of warmongering and obviouscation. Oblivious to the notion of diplomacy. What a disgusting place this has become.
One serious presupposition I hold is โIf a Bush is fer it, Iโm agin it.โ
The Bush clan to a man, or woman, is NEOCON through and through.
This is a fungus amongus Republicans and needs some anti-fungal conservative salve applied liberally, uh, that is, libertarianally โฆ
Always thought that he was someoneโs boy and he is proving it correct.
If you read commenters on other sites, it is clear Ron supports AI.
Bots and paid boosters in the comment sections are as obvious as Big Mike’s Shoulders.
Ron De Shiznit has a small base outside his Fake Governorship Cheerleaders in Florida.
I remember all the Truckers saying- All I see is 400 Trump signs to every FILTHY Hillary sign, who is voting for this evil Hag?
Answer:Dominion Votes.
If all remember Russia tried to install missiles 90 miles away from Florida. I flew in the Cuban blockade 10 hours a day 5 days a week for 6 months. What in the hell did anyone expect out of Putin when you threaten to put the military on his damn border. If Putin is a war criminal then JFK was also. What American morons are doing now is simply supplying Ukrainian civilians as human sacrifices to make Putin appear as the bad guy. Thousands are going to die and all they wanted to do was live in peace not commit suicide.
Khrushchev wanted to place those IRBMs in the Carribean as a response/counter to the U.S. placing Jupiter missles on the USSR’s southwestern flank in Turkey.
I wish Gov DeSantis would just stop – the unforced errors are stacking up and make him look like Biden.
Another great clip LOL
