After attempting to navigate through the politics in order to curry favor with the base Republican voters on a Ukraine position, when confronted by Piers Morgan who is a pro-NATO war voice, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis now says his former position on Ukraine has been “mischaracterized” and Vladimir Putin “is a war criminal.”
The walk back highlights once again that Ron DeSantis is an empty vessel using poll testing to formulate his policy stances.
The reversing comments on Vladimir Putin and Ukraine come from the interview DeSantis gave to Piers Morgan as noted in a recent New York Post article:
(Piers Morgan, NY Post) – Florida’s Gov. Ron DeSantis has branded Vladimir Putin a “war criminal” and demanded he be “held accountable” for his barbaric invasion of Ukraine.
Taking a tougher tone from his statement last week appearing to dismiss the year-long war as a “territorial dispute,” DeSantis now says Russia was WRONG to invade Ukraine and was WRONG to invade and take over Crimea in 2014, and won’t win the war. And he’s made his strongest attack yet on Russia’s dictator, calling him a loser who is “basically a gas station with a bunch of nuclear weapons.”
His assertion, in a statement to Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, that it is not in America’s “vital national interests” to become “further entangled in a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia” was strongly criticized by numerous senior Republicans — including Sen. Lindsey Graham and Sen. Marco Rubio.
When I asked him specifically if he regretted using the phrase “territorial dispute,” DeSantis replied, “Well, I think it’s been mischaracterized. Obviously, Russia invaded (last year) — that was wrong. They invaded Crimea and took that in 2014 — That was wrong.
[…] “There is a move now to hold [Vladimir Putin] accountable for war crimes,” I told DeSantis, “bombing maternity hospitals and genocidal activity in parts of Ukraine wiping out whole cities like Mariupol. Would you support that?”
“I think he is a war criminal,” he replied. “This ICC … we have not done that in the US because we’re concerned about our soldiers or people being brought under it. So, I don’t know about that route, but I do think that he should be held accountable.” DeSantis is convinced Ukraine will eventually prevail in the war. (read more)
The DeSantis team has also hired the notorious dirtbag, Jeff Roe.
You might remember Roe as the former 2016 campaign manager for Ted Cruz who falsely told the people of Iowa, on the night before the primary caucus, that Dr. Ben Carson dropped out of the race. The Cruz Crew amplified this false message, and duped Carson caucus supporters who subsequently switched candidates on election day to support Ted Cruz. Jeff Roe created the lie, then tried to deny it.
(Via Politico) – […] Jeff Roe, who previously ran Sen. Ted Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign, has signed on to be an adviser to the super PAC, Never Back Down, according to an operative with direct knowledge of the move.
Never Back Down is being spearheaded by executive director Chris Jankowski, another seasoned Republican operative. Ken Cuccinelli, a former top Homeland Security official to Donald Trump, is serving as chair of the super PAC. Over the last several weeks, Cuccinelli has visited four key early GOP primary states. (read more)
A DeSantis political group that would hire Jeff Roe highlights, yet again, how the DeSantis 2024 campaign is a mirror of Ted Cruz campaign in 2016.
Factually, almost all of the 2016 never-Trump Cruz Crew are now members of the 2024 never-Trump Desantis Crew. To assist this overall ‘never-Trump’ endeavor, in 2024 Vivek Ramaswamy is now playing the former role of Evan McMullin in 2016.
The professional political class of the GOPe, the DeceptiCons, are never as vicious against Democrats as they are against candidates who do not conform to the Republican UniParty orthodoxy. If you want to see the Republicans fight dirty, just become a Republican political candidate that does not comply with them. Then, and only then, will you see a side of the Republican wing that doesn’t surface against Democrats.
Threaten their GOPe Wall Street multinational corporate interests, ie. ‘their money‘, and the DeceptiCons get vicious.
If the professional Republicans are NOT targeting a Republican politician, you can be assured that Republican politician is a member of the GOPe club operation.
Yes, it really is that simple, and Ron DeSantis is a member of that club.
Not fit for high office.
Period.
Imagine calling Vladimir Putin a “war criminal” or calling Russia a gas station with nuclear weapons! I guess he is not planning to have to negotiate at all, has no appreciation of Russian authors or culture, or its recovery under its current leader. Maybe Vladimir Putin is right; the US is not “agreement-capable”.
How completely ignorant is DeSantis? I guess he never read what really happened in Crimea. He sounds like he doesn’t have any idea of what is going on in Ukraine or how the US has been provoking this for 9 years. He has NO caring about the deaths of Russians, but he also doesn’t care about the huge amount of Ukrainian deaths. Like the 2014 Americans, he and his billionaire backers just want a big US base in Crimea that we were going to seize and still want, just like we got a big base in Kosovo after killing a bunch of Serbians with depleted uranium.
Belle, exactly right. RdS is a weasel. He’s not bright and is clearly a NWO puppet on a string.
Meatball knows pasta is from Italy. That’s the extent of his foreign policy positions
Right, hardly. Abandoning Florida to be president – in one full swoop he abysmally failed to do his duty where and when it counts.
Imagine that .. not only failed to defend President Trump and kindly ask that New York Democrat activists to not enter his state and arrest his citizens on nonexistent crimes – he, with all ill-concealed intentions; added his own narrative. It took him two days to come up with the garbage response he had on Monday.
This is not a good sign for Ron De’ Sanitized, his future aspirations nor his remaining days as Florida’s governor because once he’s lost the trust of people, no matter what he would have done stay where/when they belong. Not for future aspirations.
He’s not fit for ANY OFFICE, but Fla will eventually have their nose well rubbed into those Facts. They should never have ignored his record in Congress, and neither should Donald Trump have done so when he endorsed the little back-stabbing little snake.
DeSanctimonious is the SNAKE that that Donald Trump was warning us to not take in, and forgot to take his own advice!
Well, RDS was running against Gillum and losing. Gillum would have been a disaster.
The choice is always the evil of two lessers. /s
And they’re still evil and lesser.
Yes. The only reason I voted for him.
Any office
Scott Walker.
… and a big dose of Paul Ryan.
More waffle irons than John Kerry, this Sanctimonious suit has.
He’s been out as running for one day and he’s already waffling. Incredible.
DeSantis has now achieved that proverbial “last straw.”
He has scaled to the level of JudasMike 30Pence — which is not a low bar.
Unhappy about Mar-a-Largo silence, a Bushie endorsement is a serious mark of Cain, posits that somehow the legal assault on PDJT is not an an erosion of liberty that endangers us all, and now this Ukranian idiotic evil is somehow not understood to be catastrophic in countless ways. Ronnie Boy you are done – crossed out!
Even Mike Pence defended Trump on THIS NYC mess. So, actually, Backstabbing DeSanctimonious has fallen a Great Deal LOWER than Pence. And stabbed Colorado in the Back at the same time when he endorsed Joe O’Dea, Last year.
Pence only did that because he know MAGA is mad
at him so he is sucking up.. I am sure behind
the scene he is cheering just like everyone else.
His campaign hasn’t officially launched yet and the wheels are already falling off of it!
I, for one, am looking forward to what is looking to be a daily Meatball thread. So much fun.
It appears the DeSantis candidacy is already imploding and the man hasn’t even announced his presidential run yet. The more people see and hear from him the lower his numbers go. I can already see the GOPe telling Glen Youngkin and Tim Scott to start warming up in the bullpen!
If he had not lost me awhile ago, his ignorant comments about Crimea and V. Putin double-sealed my rejection of DeSantis.
Not refuting Morgan’s total misinformation/lies– “…bombing maternity hospitals and genocidal activity in parts of Ukraine wiping out whole cities like Mariupol.”–with the truth that Ukrainian Azov (N..A..Z..I) troops did those atrocities, is reprehensible behavior from DeSantis.
I’m glad you mentioned those lies. The maternity patients were long gone and the hospital was used for a photo-op. Mariupol was wiped out by the Ukrainians who were so angry at being defeated that they left it in tatters. The Ukrainians even burned tons of grain in the port.
But Russia is rebuilding Mariupol, like it rebuilt Chechnya after their two wars against Islamic terrorist groups that were supported by the CIA. (Unlike the western powers left Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya.)
Yes the videos of VP touring , driving his own car, and interacting with the residents in Mariupol is quite sincere genuine and charming.
Our politicians are just sooo bad here in comparison
It honestly seems there is zero comparison between Putin and the “Western leaders”.
Rootin’ for Putin.
DeSantis is not fit to wipe President Putins’ dupe. This man RDS has become a real turn off, calling Putin a war criminal, while the politicians that support Ron are the real war criminals. Ron, odjebi!
Da. Ćufte mogu poljubiti moje dupe
aDoozy. I totally agree with your comments. Morgan’s spew is 100% approved deep state propaganda.
I’m surprised he didn’t mention “weapons of mass destruction! Oh my!”
I fell for that once. Won’t happen again. I’m not a Putin supporter but I do see what’s going on, and right now our government “leaders” are no better than him. In fact they are much worse.
There are WAY more of us than them.
All we need to do is forward on Sundance’ brilliant analyses to our friends and we’ve got this one.
We’ll help the electorate see their game for what it is.
These fraudsters can all go pound sand!
The State Department of The United States insisted that we were not running bio labs in Ukraine. The very next day after being confronted with proof that the US government was illegally running bio labs in Ukraine they finally admitted to it. If I remember the US government was running 39 0r 49 bio labs in Ukraine.
What if Putin had credible intel that these US funded Ukraine bio labs were about to unleash more Covid 19 type stuff. Maybe that was why Putin finally took the action he did.
I don’t think Putin is a war criminal. I actually think he should be held in high esteem for shutting these labs down. The US government with the aid of Chyna has poisoned the world with Covid and the killer Covid vaccines.
Anybody who shut the bio labs down is not a war criminal. People running the bio labs should be considered criminals against humanity.
Anyone who is trying to give safe passage to children who are being used as human shields by a country we are funding and supplying daily is not a war criminal.
That the US government does not know that this monstrous, terrible atrocity is going on is not credible.
And that defines us as war criminals. For this…and decades of being exactly what Desantis, sitting there smiling, accuses someone else of being.
He becomes more repulsive to me day by day.
Same here.
Never thought I would see the day when evacuating children from a war zone…
Would make you a criminal.
Pure Insanity.
ESPECIALLY Children being used for even Far Worse nefarious purposes, down in those tunnels.
Amen Amin!
Remembering he was in Congress before he was in a Gov Mansion. So he had plenty of opportunity to be in the Know considering Customer Pelosi….
Was Russia able to shut all the bio-labs down in Ukraine?
That is The question no one asked Nuland.
No, the biolabs are still being used. Russia also brought this info to the UN….evidence that these labs were still being used.
I think he did shut them down, many were in tunnels or down deep; I haven’t heard of anything blowing up lately. He has reason to hate DS as they are part of the group that killed the Romanov family.
d
Originally a lot of them were destroyed.
They could have been rebuilt by now.
That has been my stance on Putin for a long time now (years)
When was the last time Russians did anything directly to the USA?
Never perhaps, so why should i think putin is the devil in carnate
when i know my own government has done far worse than Putin.
EXACTLY SO!!!
The Ukraine underground labs were the primary source of our Dim politicians fav Distillery of Cocktail infusion with “Chrome”
Wow thats an interesting thought. Makes sense though.
This is the rest of the interview- watch
Salty language warning.
LOL
Hahaha!
While polls are typically meant for low information voters, his numbers are gong down further each day with each little thing he does. A 180 on Ukraine is just one more thing to show he has no mind of his own.
And I will still vote Trump, even if that means writing him in.
FRD.
Dana Perino said that when he started doing his book tour, his poll numbers started going down. So now he’s doing interviews. Hehehe!
Jeff Roe is a disgusting slob.
RDS has zero chance. Incredible that he would throw away his career at the behest of others. Very shallow man.
O/T
Anyone who has not watched the series “The Chosen” should definitely check it out. Outstanding non-Hollywood production that will hook you from the beginning.
Money and lots of it! The book deal is the down payment and he doesn’t even have to win an election for further rewards.
Must see entertainment this Easter season
Excellent example of hubris.
A really great quote I came across from author John Gray, “Global laissez-faire is not a conspiracy of corporate America. It is a tragedy…in which an hubristic ideology runs aground on enduring human needs that it has failed to comprehend.”
“Those who are drawn to the Jesus of The Chosen have been seduced into believing in a character who is not the perfect God/Man presented in God’s Word, but rather a man-made counterfeit Christ whose ministry had to be enabled through the input of his disciples. That’s not the Jesus Christ of God’s inerrant, infallible, and all-sufficient God-breathed Word.”
From a former Hollywood screenwriter on the blasphemy of the backstories added to the Bible.

No one is twisting your arm to watch it. I don’t see boogeymen behind every corner so will enjoy it and look forward to more of the same…
I think He had to sell out to get their money.
RDS is auditioning as the next warmonger for the MIC.
Funny how he keeps talking about running against Biden in 2024. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows that Biden ain’t running in 2024. This just means that the consultant class aren’t just disconnected elitists doing Wall St. bidding. They’re also clueless and incompetent. RDSs campaign is in the best of hands.
Keep grinding, Treepers.
Keep joining local GOP committees.
Keep joining local GOP clubs.
Keep posting to forums and social media.
Keep following the formula that President Trump has demonstrated.
Keep the faith.
Him being part of DickBush Cheney crew is more than enough reason to be hesitant.
What a schmuck. Couldn’t hold out more than a few days with a policy position.
Hard pass on the “conservative” chameleon. Bye 👋 Ron.
“conservative” chameleon” Perfect Description
should be a trending hashtag not just about Ron DeSantis
but many other RINO’s
Ever since he endorsed Joe O’Dea of Colorado, last year, Rds has held the policy position that Donald Trump is too old and too out-dated. That was by May/June 2022, at the LEAST.
With 2 Trump Endorsements in his pockets while doing it.
And people keep saying how mean that Trump has been to Rds????????
Glad that you mentioned that TPP Ronda received two endorsements from PDJT, many people forget or don’t know that DeStablishment was being beaten by Adam Putnam in the 2018 GOP primary until the President endorsed him.
Nimrata Haley has stated the same while she brags that she’ll “stomp” her opposition with her 👠 👠
Oddly she capitulated to the leftists as guvnah of SC without even a whimper.
There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hades I’d vote for that passive aggressive coward either.
DeSantis. What a weasel!
I sort of lean toward a stronger term.
Snake, Honey Badger, Jackal, Mis-begotten offspring of Faux Chi!
Backstabbing #$%@#$!$!$%^ Spittle from Cern.
They are all falling in line…..the public be damned
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni
Italy’s Meloni ready to risk unpopularity over support for Ukraine
Speaking yesterday to the Italian Senate, Meloni vowed that Rome will continue to support Ukraine’s war effort, even though much of the Italian public is against providing more military aid, because “it is right to do so in terms of national values and interests.”
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/italys-meloni-ready-risk-unpopularity-over-support-ukraine-2023-03-21/
She fell fast.
Forget what your people want….
Love of money, I guess. She’s seeing billions in her stars.
This nonsense from the “West” regarding “Ukraine” will end up with her seeing the billion stars, ejecta from Earth after being blown to bits….
No doubt Italy will revolt like the French.
Another sell-out…what a shame.
Unlike several months ago, I now know several things that would keep me from voting for DeSantis.
But this item alone would be enough.
I saw a clip of this yesterday or the day before and it was nauseating. Said then to watch hills poll numbers after this was aired.
and the other shoe has dropped.
DeSantis is not running to beat Trump head-to-head.
He’s running to swoop in and win the nomination if Trump is dead, disabled, or otherwise out of the race.
It will be Trump or Pence.
And the Democrats will nominate Stacy Abrams, or her angrier cousin.
Her cousin….M1A1? Definitely not R2D2, that’s for sure!
Carson left Iowa for his home, where he picked up a change of clothes before heading to his next campaign stop.
However, Carson didn’t explain this to anyone. The optics were pretty bad, and he made it easy for someone else to jump to conclusions. It may have been an honest mistake.
lol.
That you Ron?
Covering for that slimeball who lied about it, with this?
Man, how weak. LOL!
Sheesh, that is quite the attempted cover….
Must be your buddy or something. Like wtf,
Sleazy campaign guys like Roe don’t make mistakes like this. Why would they assume just because he left town for whatever reason that he quit the campaign without any announcement.
They just lied to trick his voters. Nothing honest about it.
I know Mark Levin likes DeSantis. He didn’t like his stance on Ukraine but Mark will be relieved to hear that Ron no longer believes it to be a territorial war.
I stopped listening to Levin’s podcast after the invasion.
He became insufferable.
I stopped listening about ten years ago.
Half the show is him selling his crappy books.
The other half is a commercial break.
FML
In Levin’s world view, we cannot take in new information & reevaluate prior commitments.
In this case, we must live by Clintoon’s commitment even if we already broke our side of the agreement with Russia & even if his wife changed the ruling Ukrainian junta to one that is inherently evil & corrupt.
The only person on the wrong side of U.S. foreign policy more frequently than Marky is Joey Two Scoops.
Yuck! Mark Levin has been for getting rid of our Constitution via an Art V convention. That was enough for me! Even Trump is wrong on TERM LIMITS! Can you imagine 6 years of a gang of lame duck senators in the senate-who dont have to face their constituents?
While FURTHER empowering the Lifetime STAFF UNIONIZED MEMBERS…
Go back and watch “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”. (Jimmy Stewart)
And also, The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand, and especially Howard Roark’s
Courtroom Speech, at the end, brilliantly delivered by Gary Cooper in the Howard Roark role.
I’d rather repeal 16A & 17A than open an uncontrollable A5 convention.
Control the Senate by controlling the state legislatures.
Mark Levin is a demi-Dim.
Wow….
look at that.
Two Sanctimonious horses asses having a conversation.
Exactly So!!!
And exactly the same with Piers Morgan interview, as well!
Just think. Before Trump, this is what we were served. And we fell right in line in voting for the frauds. Matter of fact, stood in long lines to vote for the impostors and then defended them to high heaven. How easily we were duped. And millions are still being duped and will still vote for these frauds. Really sad because the fraudsters know how dumb we are and laugh behind our backs all the way to the bank.
Makes me sick to think how dumb our citizens are when it comes to politicians. I have never trusted a single one of them, except Pat Buchannan and Donald Trump. Both populist candidates.
Herman seemed legit, before he dropped out.
… any way the wind blows … RD shifts like a wind-sock-puppet for the donors.
What a disappointment. He could have been Trump’s “apprentice”, become MAGA, then had 2 terms starting 2028. Now he’s already a has-been.
wind-sock-puppet for the donors …… YEP!
I imagine he will be a wealthy has-been.
They’ll find a way to retrieve their foolish investment and make him sorry he ever cheated them – the same way they have cheated America!
Not made of the right Material.
Have you ever read what the Material was that was used for the Fort McHenry American Flag?
“Now let’s go back to the summer of 1813 for a moment. At the star-shaped Fort McHenry, the commander, Maj. George Armistead, asked for a flag so big that “the British would have no trouble seeing it from a distance”. Two officers, a Commodore and a General, were sent to the Baltimore home of Mary Young Pickersgill, a “maker of colours,” and commisioned the flag. Mary and her thirteen year old daughter Caroline, working in an upstairs front bedroom, used 400 yards of best quality wool bunting. They cut 15 stars that measured two feet from point to point. Eight red and seven white stripes, each two feet wide, were cut. Laying out the material on the malthouse floor of Claggett’s Brewery, a neighborhood establishment, the flag was sewn together. By August it was finished. It measured 30 by 42 feet and cost $405.90. The Baltimore Flag House, a museum, now occupies her premises, which were restored in 1953.”
I believe I got this description from William (Bill) J. Federer, “The American Minute”, and “Faith In History”.
Wow. That is amazing history.
UniParty Globalist Frank Luntz tells us what we need to know about Ron DeSantis
This tweet from Frank Luntz, who is controlled by the Paul Ryan-Mitt Romney–Rupert Murdoch Globalist Chamber of Commerce Republican Establishment, should tell you all you need to know about Ron DeSantis for President.
The DeSantis challenge has been planned for some time. Note date October 11 and note that Ryan-Romney-McConnell never secured the border.

Richard Baris said in his recent podcast that after DeSantis’ mis-steps he said something along the line (I’m paraphrasing here)….”see, I told you Ron is socially awkward and has bad political instincts” and something about may have to enter the race now.
Isn’t it awful how so many Americans are completely ignorant about history. Knowing so little about the Ukrainian atrocities afflicted on Russian people just doesn’t compute to the average American.
Not just the Russian people—the world—when you consider Ukraine is the very “hub” of the KHAZARIAN MAFIA! The “pretend Jewish.”
This is going to compel a lot of people to take a closer look at DeSantis, and that can only end badly for him.
Desantis has a better chance of winning the Democratic Nomination than our “Rightful President”
“If the professional republicans are NOT targeting a republican politician, you can be assured that republican politician is a member of the GOPe club operation.”
So true! People need to take the time to think about who else is not being targeted…
well…… After MTG snuggled up to McCarthy she seems to be on the swamps good graces, much like Ted Cruz and McConnell stopped feuding in public
Leskov Brandonovic
@fjb4587
Reminder: it’s not the first time DeSantis sides with voter fraud. In 2018 election, when democrats were stealing the elections, including his own race, he instantly asked Trump to stop talking about the fraud after his race got called, when Rick Scott was still contesting.
https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1629103255165997060.html
DeSantis is consistent in not wanting to call out election fraud.
I recently searched if DeSantis ever acknowledged what happened in the 2020 election.
Although I can understand not saying “stolen election”, He would never even say alleged massive fraud or “rigged election”, etc.
When directly asked, he would only redirect his answer to something he did in Florida to secure elections.
****
DeSantis won’t say if he thinks 2020 was rigged
Excerpt:
Unlike Lake and Mastriano, however, DeSantis has avoided repeating or amplifying unproven allegations of voter fraud even as Trump — a part-time Florida resident — has continued to dispute the 2020 election results.
When asked by reporters whether the last presidential election was rigged, DeSantis has instead highlighted changes to election laws he has supported or simply changed the topic.
“I’ve been asked that a hundred different times. Anyone have a question on the topic of the day?” DeSantis said during a mid-June press conference. He then went on to criticize the Jan. 6 hearings that were being held at the time. DeSantis, however, condemned the Jan. 6 insurrection in the immediate aftermath of the riot.
https://www.politico.com/news/2022/08/17/desantis-wont-say-if-2020-was-rigged-but-hes-campaigning-for-republicans-who-do-00052266
Funny how these RINOs keep recycling themselves like Ronald Ted DeSantis-Cruz.
With a few exceptions, political candidates and office holders are avatars with no agency of their own. They do not matter, unless they are in the Bush/Clinton tier.
Who does matter are the campaign managers/handlers such as Jeff Roe, the permanent Congressional staff (who often keep their positions regardless of which party holds the seat), and the career bureaucrats embedded in the administrative state.
The managers connect the money people to their politicians, the staffers write the legislation the money people want their politicians to pass, and the bureaucrats press the buttons and pull the levers that make the legislation operate.
The politicians’ only roles in this system are to keep up appearances, fund-raise, and engage in the formality of voting. They are interchangeable and discardable cogs in the system, not representatives or leaders.
That is why we see Cruzes being swapped out for DeSantises with such ease.
As I mentioned earlier: “Mr Smith Goes To Washington” starring Jimmy Stewart.
I couldn’t believe that when Tucker Carlson announced the result of his polling of the candidates that he actually believed the sort of “pretend peaceful” stance of DeSantis. He said, “DeSantis is not a neo-con. Who knew?”
At first I thought that he may have actually believed what sly DeSantis said. But I changed my mind when he again mentioned the “get out of the Ukraine conflict” stance of all the candidates. I think that Tucker Carlson was trying to edge DeSantis toward a more citizens’ appealing peaceful stance and I was hoping that he would be successful.
DeSantis’ multinational corporate and banking billionaire backers obviously didn’t approve. They want this war and so DeSantis had to go reverse any misunderstanding publicly. Too many profits to be made.
It not only shows the waffling of an unsure, managed candidate on what he supports, it also shows the leer of the billionaires at his back and the failure RDS would be internationally. Not just that whiny, sing-songy voice, but his misunderstanding of the real situation or the voters’ wishes.
.
I wonder… if DeSantis deliberately said one thing to Tucker’s audience, then changed it for the Piers audience.
.
Of course–he knew Tucker’s audience was not onboard for more of these neocon wars, so he changed his position.
Most pols are sociopaths or psychopaths.
Ronald Reagan: I paid for this microphone.
Donald Trump: They are sending us murderes and rapists.
Ron Desandis: I’m not getting involved.
Who should be held accountable is the Obama administration who helped instigate a coup in 2014 in Ukraine! Victoria Nuland attests to that! And also US bio labs sitting on Russian borders .
Not ON Russian Borders – they are buried DEEPLY underground “AT” the Borders. Or “something”.
I don’t think this curries favor with base Republican voters.
Also I haven’t seen someone implode like this in a while.
I’ve SEEN them IMPLODE, plenty – have NOT seem the VOTERS take NOTICE of it. That is much scarier. When the sleeping voters are angry at you for trying to wake them in the middle of the “beautiful” nightmares.
He is truly showing his colors. MAGA supporters see it. He’s another Republican who just doesn’t understand MAGA supporters, and MAGA supporters make up the majority of republican voters, IMO.
Ron the Con is a scumbag! Everyone is being overwhelmed with the amount of news, and no one is looking at what Trump was really standing between. It is this, and us
We sure don’t fight off Distraction followed by the Trailer load of Destruction very well, do we?
So, that said, he isn’t really running, just the deep state testing Trump, dirtying him up a little. If DeSantis stays in, his career is in serious jeopardy…
You are spot on, Sundance, when you say “The professional political class of the GOPe, the DeceptiCons, are never as vicious against Democrats as they are against candidates who do not conform to the Republican UniParty orthodoxy.”
John McCain was a perfect example of this. He had a HUGE warchest that he used to obliterate any Republican who dared challenge him in primaries and he was especially vicious if that challenger was pointing out his membership in “the Club”.
Of course McShame would then around and roll over for any and all Democrats, especially if their last name was Obama.
Edgar Cayce said in 1930 that if Russia ever broke the communist yoke, that in later years, Russia would become the hope of the world.
Russia or Brazil or Canada:
Freed from the socialist yoke, the sky would be the limit.
Here we see a rudderless man with no convictions.
He got the call from the military industrial complex telling him how many defense jobs are in Florida.
Exactly!
DeSantis is expected to be seen next on “Dancing With The Stars”. For his number, we are expecting a pole dance.
One step forward and two steps back. DeSantis is practicing his DC two step.
‘Factually, almost all of the 2016 never-Trump Cruz Crew are now members of the 2024 never-Trump Desantis Crew.’
I guess I’m in the minority then cause I had voted for Cruz in the primaries and was a definite ‘never-Trump’ at that time. (I still think highly of Cruz and admire his intelligence. But I now think he’d be a good candidate as a Supreme Court Justice.)
However, after much prayer, I did reluctantly vote for Pres. Trump in 2016. I watched Pres. Trump as he ‘evolved’ and he became my tied-favorite President (tied with Pres. Reagan). I voted for him again in 2020 and will definitely do so in 2024.
As for DeSantis, I originally thought he might be a good VP for Pres. Trump and then go on and be Prez in 2028. Things change, though, as more is revealed. I’m even surprised by what I do, at times. LOL! DeSantis has done some good things for his State, but from what I’ve been hearing from the current residents, the economy there is in trouble. Folks are complaining about how expensive property taxes and insurance have become, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if folks in FL vote for Pres. Trump over their own Governor. I’d like to hear more from the ‘Floridians’ regarding DeSantis.
Recently, I saw on an early Fox & Friends TV show that when they interviewed a packed out coffee shop/restaurant in FL, all the Folks except one were supporting Pres. Trump over DeSantis. Fox obviously hadn’t expected that. It’s disappointing that DeSantis has allowed the ‘Bush-cronies’ to take the reins.
Then you still don’t see the Real Ted Cruz.
I was furious with my oldest son for trying to tell me the Truth about him in 2012, when he was trying to challenge me to DO MY DUE DILIGENCE RESEARCH on Ted.
You must think he is a FINE AMERICAN CITIZEN, even though he was born and raised in CANADA, complete with CANADIAN Citizenship, which he SHOWED a CERTIFIED COPY of to the Dallas Morning News in Aug 2012, who has now ARCHIVED those several articles.
You like his and Heidi’s ideas for the North American UNION to make us one Nation with MEXICO and CANADA?
I understand that some hate Cruz just as some hate Pres. Trump. His ‘citizenship’ was all clarified, at that time. Apparently, his Am. citizenship permitted him to legally run for the office of President. I’m not here to defend Cruz. I will, however, defend my right to my personal opinion as I will respect your right even if I disagree with it.
Ted Cruz said that candidate Donald Trump was responsible for attendees to Trump rallies being beat up, spat upon, and threatened because Trump makes these people so angry with his “rhetoric”. Cruz said that the fault lies with Trump’s leadership style.
“Constitutional scholar” (yeah, right) Ted Cruz doesn’t think that people should be able to peacefully go to a rally, practice their political POV, and then walk back to their cars safely. He doesn’t think that this is a Constitutional Right. When someone stops people from exercising this Right, it is the fault of the person that they are going to hear speak.
Ted was willing to throw away ALL of his legal knowledge in order to score a few political points AND further embolden the other side to continue to attack Trump supporters.
So, maybe pray a little harder for some discernment about who the real Ted Cruz is. He also refused to endorse Trump at the RNC convention.
You certainly have a right to your opinion, as do I. I seem to recall Pres. Trump saying quite a few things that offended others. Thankfully, we still have a right to our opinions (at least for now). Cruz is still a brilliant man and a strong defender of the Constitution. He just submitted a Bill to come against the CBDC. He still fights for Freedom. It’s not possible for him to throw away his ‘legal knowledge..it’s too vast. Pres. Trump and Cruz seemingly resolved their issues. (…and please do not instruct me on my prayer life.)
Flip flops are great for Florida beaches. They’re not a good look when sitting with Piers Morgan. So I guess we’ll just have to refer to RDS as “loser”.
Just what we need another puppet politician (sarc). I don’t think this man possesses an ounce of integrity!!
You would be Totally RIGHT about THAT!
