Just as Lou Dobbs has accurately and presciently called the Wall Street play-by-play for decades, amid the multinational schemes of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce & Business Roundtable, Mr Dobbs accurately notes the Republican Governor’s Association (RGA) as the originating approvers for the prepared rebuttal. The approved GOPe script, a construct of multinational financial influence and background motive, was/is intended to write President Donald Trump out of the Republican political framework. Governor Huckabee-Sanders went along with the plan. She, along with all of the non-pretenders, knows this, as all of them do. It is a sad acceptance to realize just how metastasized the political cancer has become, and how few can hold firm against the power of the corrupt political apparatus.
As I said last night, Huckabee-Sanders points about the damage from the Biden administration were accurate and well delivered.
That said, her acquiescence to the machinery of the professional republican system is both disheartening and pathetic.
Oh sure, she will backtrack sometime soon, filled with artificial pearl-clutching prose and promises of mistaken intent…. that’s the way it rolls. But once you see the strings attached to the marionettes you can never unsee them. Authenticity, trust and integrity are lost in sunlight moments when decisions are made.
CTH noted several weeks ago that based on the background moves in advance of Ron DeSantis’s reelection efforts, it became increasingly clear the Republican Governor’s Association (RGA) was going to play a bigger role in 2024 in full alignment with the GOP establishment.
In some ways the leveraging of the RGA is the difference between the Big Club’s 2016 (Jeb!) effort, and the 2024 (Ron!) effort. It was obvious in 2022 with the amount of money the RGA poured into the FL governor’s coffers, a reelection race with a consistent double point lead, the RGA was not doing it for the 2022 reelection – they were building the DeSantis war chest for 2024.
The DeSantis management and branding group are in alignment with, and in close coordination with, the RGA.
At CTH we accept things as they are, not as we would wish them to be.
The Big Club is fooling many, but not here, not now and not today – or ever.

What I remember is Gov. Huckabee being so overcome with compassion that it prompted him to pardon/have released from prison a known violent offender, who upon release was quick to pick up where he left off — gory details intentionally omitted, mainly because I don’t want to remember and I’m unwilling to Duck-Duck-Go to find out.
That’s what I remember about him — after that, I lost track (deliberately) of his activities.

Yes, I got to the end of her speech and realized that I didn’t think I had heard President TRUMP’s name even once. I looked all over the innerwebs for a transcript, including on her .gov site and nothing, but other sites were writing about no mention of TRUMP, so I tho’t I was on to something.
I realized immediately that the speech as spoken was approved by someone and I assumed it was Brutus Turtle. The RGA now makes more sense.
I divorced myself from her father forever shortly after the 2020 election when I heard him say on some show that TRUMP lost and he should just stop being a big crybaby and get over it. The great courtesy and respectful comportment of Candidate Trump, on that occasion under those circumstances, grabbed our attention. What he said and accomplished thereafter has kept it.

i was walking out of the local Ingles grocery store in NC today and I overheard this man who collects carts from the grocery that have been left out in the parking lot talking to a customer. I had thought the man collecting the grocery carts was developmentally disabled or socially disabled in some way based on observation. Anyway, he was saying to the customer something about “if they keep stealing our votes” and the customer said, “As long as we let them do it they will continue to do it”….wow… I could not believe it and I wanted to join in on the conversation but that would have been intrusive but wow…everyone knows what is going on!!

I think you’re right. I’ve noticed with my kids that they know the names of several governors and many names of people in government and I believe that it is all because of President Trump. I know that when I was in my 30’s I was so busy having children that I don’t think I could name any political person except the president at the time. So I am very thankful to our President Trump for bringing all of this to the forefront and opening our eyes to what was going on. Also, he is so NOT a politician that it was actually fun to listen to what he was saying. I never looked forward to a State of the Union speech until he got in. He’s just awesome…

Exposing is of little value if you can’t right the wrong. He pulled the curtain back, but in the end he wasn’t able to get the job done and get the prosecutions of the criminals within the DOJ and larger IC. That was due to his reluctance to put the right people in positions of power within the DOJ by doing an end run around the nomination process with acting officers who could be in positions over 200 days. He kept deferring to swamp animals like Barr because he was counseled that he would be impeached. Well, he was impeached anyway.

I thought it was just me because everyone seemed to be raving about her speech. I thought she came across as flat and uninspiring. I was also hoping for better from Sarah but I was disappointed when she did not even speak of Trump. Thanks to the great Lou Dobbs for cutting to the chase and pointing out the truth as always.
When Sarah was White House Press Secretary, I used to say, “She could be President if she wanted to be.”

I was disappointed in Sarah’s speech when she talked about the trip to go to Iraq and what happened when they got there, she failed to say those guys were all happy to see President trump but instead of saying that she talked about how they yelled USA instead, She has been telling reporters when they asked about her support for President Trump she tells them that she is only focused on her job and making sure she does the right thing for ark so shame on you for selling out but that seems to be happening with a lot of people and the time is coming when they are going to have to make a big choice
At President Trumps next Rally I would make sure that no Desantis triators are allowed in ..
Sarah spoke of the soldier in the back yelling to President Trump, “I re-enlisted because of you!” President Trump responded with, “I’m here because of you!”
The soldiers only started chanting, “USA!”, “USA!”, “USA!” when they saw President Trump according to Ms Sanders. She attributed it to his presence.
For God’s sake … you think it was just a coincidence that they started chanting, “USA”, when President Trump arrived? You’ll do anything to avoid giving Ms Sanders any credit.
If Sanders’ intention was to bash Trump she wouldn’t have retold the story about Iraq at all. Anyone who would listen to a Republican rebuttal speech knows exactly who that POTUS was who journeyed to Iraq that night. I don’t doubt that the absence of the use the name Trump was approved by the RNC, but if their purpose was to dismiss the last president, the speech that SHS delivered missed the mark and went a mile to do the opposite.
The knuckleheads like the RGA, the Cuck (Koch) Brothers, etc. need to put off their greed and power-lust.
They need to join the Americans and fight the Uniparty/Oligarchs/Globalists.
The people in the RGA and the Cuck Brothers organizations would be the first to the firing squads and internment camps if the Oligarchs/Globalists have their way.

I recognize that he has some (some) talent for this President-thingy, but he lacked (and probably lacks) the motivation to make a real change. His one chance was 2016-2020, and he blew it. That’s why he didn’t catch my vote in 2020. If he had drawn his sword, that might have been different.

I think you are wrong. It was a fine story that put Trump in the best light possible. A man that cared for the common servicemen and women enough to make a dangerous visit at Christmas.
