Just as Lou Dobbs has accurately and presciently called the Wall Street play-by-play for decades, amid the multinational schemes of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce & Business Roundtable, Mr Dobbs accurately notes the Republican Governor’s Association (RGA) as the originating approvers for the prepared rebuttal. The approved GOPe script, a construct of multinational financial influence and background motive, was/is intended to write President Donald Trump out of the Republican political framework. Governor Huckabee-Sanders went along with the plan. She, along with all of the non-pretenders, knows this, as all of them do. It is a sad acceptance to realize just how metastasized the political cancer has become, and how few can hold firm against the power of the corrupt political apparatus.
As I said last night, Huckabee-Sanders points about the damage from the Biden administration were accurate and well delivered.
That said, her acquiescence to the machinery of the professional republican system is both disheartening and pathetic.
Oh sure, she will backtrack sometime soon, filled with artificial pearl-clutching prose and promises of mistaken intent…. that’s the way it rolls. But once you see the strings attached to the marionettes you can never unsee them. Authenticity, trust and integrity are lost in sunlight moments when decisions are made.
CTH noted several weeks ago that based on the background moves in advance of Ron DeSantis’s reelection efforts, it became increasingly clear the Republican Governor’s Association (RGA) was going to play a bigger role in 2024 in full alignment with the GOP establishment.
In some ways the leveraging of the RGA is the difference between the Big Club’s 2016 (Jeb!) effort, and the 2024 (Ron!) effort. It was obvious in 2022 with the amount of money the RGA poured into the FL governor’s coffers, a reelection race with a consistent double point lead, the RGA was not doing it for the 2022 reelection – they were building the DeSantis war chest for 2024.
The DeSantis management and branding group are in alignment with, and in close coordination with, the RGA.
At CTH we accept things as they are, not as we would wish them to be.
The Big Club is fooling many, but not here, not now and not today – or ever.
Once you see the strings on the marionettes, you can never return to that moment in the performance when you did not see them.

At some point, you will have to disabuse yourself- as so many of us have had to do over the last 7 years- of the notion that a conservative politician we once trusted is not another brick in the uniparty wall.

I am sick and tired of the colloquial speeches meant to elicit emotion but are actually just shallow pools that won’t hold water.
Much like the many evangelical “pastors” who deliver services ripe with emotion, bringing the congregants to tears, (and filling the donation plates), but are wholly bereft of truth and application.
People leave these churches after service and are likewise wholly bereft of any edification and truth.

Like you say these speakers can bring us to tears or bring us to our feet in cheers but as soon as we leave the building we ask ourselves “now what did that guy say?”.
The feeling leaves us as soon as the speaker is out of sight and nothing they say stays with us.

However, when she was telling the explicit details of the Iraq Christmas Visitation, as a member of the TRUMP Administration and rode Air Force 1 along with President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, the natural telling of a story is to name the Main characters in that story. The main characters were President Trump and First Lady Trump; not Sarah Sanders, Press Secretary.

Your humble opinion is very similar to those who didn’t want to see RDS for who he really is either. Sure, he’ll do MAGA-ish things to keep you believing, but again when you see the strings, the gig is up no matter how much smoke and mirrors to hide them are thrown at you! Miss Sanders will continue to show you her strings, but it’ll be up to you to acknowledge their existence. Thinking for yourself is always the best option, but just remember to see things as they are, not as you wish them to be!

The tip for me was when, a few weeks or so ago, she was asked if she supports President Trump’s reelection bid and she answered that she was focused on the governorship and not 2024. Now that, on face value, is understandable ,but not the right answer. Great example of illusion. Really does show how much money, power and influence, is the benchmark.

I come from a huge family and did my schooling in large schools, too. I cannot even imagine a young woman at a very special time of her own life having someone mention another Great moment of her life, an important person from it, who would react this way.

For once I am proud of myself for I am not and never was fooled by her, or her hokey dad. She is full of it and distanced herself from President Trump. She was PATHETIC as press secretary. She could not handle relaying the truth to the public and caused a lot of unnecessary problems for him because of it. She wanted to be liked more than a truth teller. Now here we are and she lands on her feet while we all watch in horror as the free country is ruined.

I concur 100% with Dobbs, War Room and Sundance! When I get the fundraising calls from the GOP, I am consistently telling them I am voting for Trump, even as a “write-in” if he is not on the ballet. I won’t give any money to the GOP, but will donate directly to the candidates that I feel represent “America First” and fall in line with the Trump movement. I am completely fed up with the “Party Politics” and the so-called “movers and shakers” like the Governors Association, the clubs, and all the other money laundering pipelines that are driving this country into the ditch!

I just had a thought. Unlike 2016 and “Jeb” which was all national focus, the GOPe using the Guvnas, is their attempt to get a tad closer to the people. 50 “smaller” places versus national. That means we won that battle and they are being forced to come a little closer to our field of play. We beat then at this level and they really don’t have anywhere else to go. Take heart, they have been forced to play closer to us.
If the GOPe had just backed Trump, he would be leaving office in 2 years, the party would be much stronger and the RINOs would not have been exposed for all to see. They could have resumed to their ways without anyone being the wiser. Now the party is doomed without Trump’s base.
