The Biden administration is pushing the United States into war against Russia to protect Washington DC’s political and financial interests in Ukraine. Today Joe Biden announced he is sending 31 ‘Abram Tanks’ from the U.S. arsenal into Ukraine to further push the United States into direct conflict with Russia. The potential for direct U.S. military engagement in Ukraine is now just a matter of formality, as the Abram’s tanks will be accompanied by military advisors, trainers, and the processes to sustain and maintain them on the battlefield. We are being pushed into a war that few Americans want.
This is getting out of hand mostly because the Russians are defeating Ukraine in the war. Without the U.S. operators and material involved, Ukraine cannot win. However, the Biden administration view Ukraine as a U.S. proxy in Europe, and as such all of the corrupt DC systems are in alignment to continue escalating this conflict.
This is happening against the backdrop of Ukraine officials being caught stealing money given to Ukraine to fight the war.

During this dance between the great powers who are trying to goad the other to start the war with nukes, if I was Putin then I would digitally attack the financial interests which are threatened by the invasion of Ukraine. I would let the computer experts clear the back accounts, put in phony deposits and credits, etc. I do not really think that it would be too hard for Russia. They are very sophisticated in this field. There would be so much noise, phony transactions, spoofed hardware, etc. that the financial numbers and transactions would be fundamentally untrustworthy. They could probably make it that the recipients of the filthy lucre would not be able to pay their light bills because their accounts have closed or zeroed out.
I am guessing that the next phase would be financial havoc by means of real Russia hacks. It would equivalent to a series of EMP blasts, virtually of course, across our nation. In a way, it would be like those a-holes who were shooting the power substations, with a few bullets – talk about a cheap kill, and tearing down power to hundreds of thousands of innocent souls. Now, amply that with a sovereign, proud, brainy nation doing the same at a massive level with their mastery of the computer.
Don’t think that there are no virtual equivalents of ‘power substations’ in our country. And, thinking and typing about this, they have probably prepositioned assets, like we did in Ukraine, behind our firewalls and on our soil for go time.

As the U.S. government is now preparing to send dozens of M1 Abrams tanks to the Ukrainian military, much attention has been given to concerns about how their complex electronic components and especially their gas turbine propulsion systems could make them particularly difficult to operate and maintain. Though it’s not yet clear what specific variant of the Abrams Ukraine’s military is set to receive, the tanks will have to be in a unique export configuration. This is largely due to the highly classified armor packages found specifically on U.S. military versions, which contain depleted uranium, and that are not readily exportable even to major allies. In other words, the U.S. can’t just send its M1s to Ukraine.
No matter what, they will need to be an exportable configuration before heading to Ukraine. So a big part of whatever that process ultimately entails will center on their armor package.
Starting in the late 1980s, many new-production M1A1s for the U.S. military began to feature composite armor packages that include depleted uranium (DU), a metal known for its high density, and other materials. Armor packages that incorporated DU were included on subsequent A2-series variants, as well. Many older American M1A1s were later upgraded with the newer armor and other improvements, including hundreds that were eventually brought up to the A2 standard.

“Our military pilots went to the United States, funds were allocated for the training of our pilots,” Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuri Ignat said, according to ArmyInform an information agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (MoD). “The type of aircraft, which is likely to be provided to Ukraine, and the corresponding terms of [personnel] training have already been determined.”
Ignat did not say which aircraft had been selected or offer any timeline for delivery or training.
But a Ukrainian defense and military expert in Kyiv told The War Zone on Tuesday that “based on the concept of the Ukrainian Air Force development, we are looking for a multi-role aircraft during the first phase. It could be some variant of the F-16 fighter jet.”
According to one site I read, Ukrainian troops have already been training on Leopard tanks for the last 3 months. That is so typical of what the west is doing. They do things in secret and then when the announcement is made, we find out that they had already counted on rolling this out to the media.
With modern anti-tank weapons, tanks are sitting duck death traps, so a few tanks sent to Ukraine is an absolute nothingburger. Ukraine supposedly had 2,500 in 2022 and Russia 12,500. SO, what are a few tens of tanks going to matter? Nada, except as a political move.
Fighter aircraft are whole other story. No other weapon system we’ve given to Ukraine could penetrate NEARLY as far into Russian territory as an F-16.

I agree. The Russians aren’t trained to operate them. If anything, Russia may be buying them so Ukraine doesn’t get them.
But I would have expected the US to have arranged a deal with the Taliban to buy them back, which is probably more likely.
