While Zelenskyy and his aides portray the resignations and firings as proof of their efforts to crack down on graft, the wartime scandal could play into Moscow’s political attacks on the leadership in Kyiv.
The shake-up even touched Zelenskyy’s office. Its deputy head, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, prominent for his frequent battlefield updates, quit as the president pledged to address allegations of graft — including some related to military spending — that embarrassed authorities and could slow Ukraine’s efforts to join the European Union and NATO. I recently heard that Germany conditioned their providing Leopard tanks on the US first delivering Abrams. We won’t, and more importantly, can’t, before this escapade is over. I also watched an interview with a Ukrainian that was purported to have been Z’s number two, who admitted that the recent apartment destroyed they were trying to pin on Russia was another Uke mistaken missile fire. He got fired, and came out and admitted they started the war, provoked Russia with the violence against Donbas Ukrainians, and Russia would soon win.
According to Doug McGregor who seems thoroughly credible to me, unlike absurd fools like John Kirby, says the Ukes have sacrificed nearly 200,000 KIA, and about twice that injured. Hospitals filled with wounded and dying, power only intermittent, and ass-hat Zelensky wants tanks he cannot use. This is a truly immoral piece of business and has / will annihilate any credibility this country ever had. Look at military recruiting. The “white supremacists” are giving it a pass and foregoing the injection death.

The real questions to ask about EACH Tank delivered, if they are ever delivered and no matter the types, are:
How many “Volunteer” NATO crewmen are be delivered with each tank??
How many “Volunteer” NATO logistics staff are being delivered with each tank??
How many NATO MANNED trucks, fuel tankers, shop trucks, recovery vehicles, et al are being delivered to support these vehicles?? Even a few Tanks have break downs, take damage, have subsystems break and use up allot POL and bullets.
Where are the fuel, bullets and spare parts coming from for these tanks??
Where are the “Ukrainian” Armored-Mechanized Units that will receive this equipment??? They DO NOT exist. Anybody with just a minimum of Military Science knowledge knows Tanks are not just shoved onto the battlefield. They have to operate as part of combined arms teams to be effective and survive.
It takes weeks to train a tank crew to function and weeks more to have enough skill to be effective as well as survive.
It takes weeks to train a unit of tanks (platoon of 3-4 .. a company of 10-14 tanks … up to a Battalion of 40-50 tanks) to even function minimally as a UNIT, then more weeks to operate efficiently enough to perform as well as survive in combat. It takes eve more time to train a complete combined arms team (Company through Battalion+ Sized).
This is a a dangerous new step being taken as the armored-mechanized units being “formed” are complete NATO manned units or units with NATO troops in key positions and Ukrainian grunts packed in to semi-skilled and unskilled jobs.

Before I was banned on Twitter I had read some posts by a fellow who claimed that Zelensky had a 35 million dollar house in Miami,800+million dollars in offshore accounts, and other houses in other countries. I recently read that some Ukrainian politicians, and government officials were buying houses in Switzerland. Years ago, I recall reading that Yasser Arafat’s wife lived in Paris and on average spent 100,000 US dollars a month. That is all U.S. (some EU money) taxpayer money. If those are the facts, why doesn’t somebody ask Zelensky what he has that U.S. taxpayer paid for?

(At least one of the Anti-Corruption groups in Ukraine is a US NGO’s that is getting US taxpayer money…..they have existed from around the time of the Maidan coup where the US (Victoria Nuland) removed the elected leader of Ukraine and installed the first US puppet.)

There are lots of theories about “why now” when there are major Russian advances in Bakmut, Zaporozhye, and Ugledar and conscription efforts are becoming more difficult.
Some theories include a US-driven effort to isolate Zelensky. Arestovich, Zelensky’s buddy resigned. The heads and major players of another ministry, headed by another Zelensky buddy, were killed in a helicopter crash. Zelensky and Zalushny (head of the armed forces) are at odds over strategy.
Another theory is that the US wants to put in major positions, US hardline puppets. Remember that in third world countries, when one leader or political party wants to get rid of opposition, the charges are almost always something about corruption.

The US has said that it will send 30 Abrams tanks. Germany says that it will send 14 Leopard tanks. The Netherlands has offered to buy the Leopard tanks they are leasing and send them to Ukraine….18 tanks. Norway will send between 8 and 12 Leopard tanks. Portugal will send 4 Leopard tanks. Poland will send a bunch and Finland will also send tanks. Britain will send 14 Challenger tanks.
The thing is that they can’t just send tanks. They also have to train people, have lots of shells for the tanks, have available fueling for the tanks, have replacement parts and teach how to repair tanks (or put boots on the ground for repairs).

I saw the report that Mrs. Z spent $40,000 in Paris a month or two ago. The reporting source was an anonymous French clerk. The language reporting it made me think “Russian troll”.
