I am bumping this post to the top of the page and updating because, well, I’ll explain.
First, thank you. Sincere and genuine thankfulness for your fellowship. Visitors to this site continue to prove that our nation is created by, and an assembly of, the most decent, honest, generous and kind-hearted people in the world. The responses to the question of ‘why didn’t you take the covid-19 shot?’ are nothing short of remarkable.
In the bigger picture if you want to fill up your faith cup and recognize the scale of commonsense assembly in our nation, take the time to read through the 2,000+ responses.
The feedback you are providing is exceptional and trust me when I say that far more people are reading these responses than you could fathom. Additionally, the responses have reasserted my belief in the scale of our national assembly. There are far more of us, ordinary, hardworking, commonsense, pragmatic and smart people, than the self-described intellectual elites would ever admit.
In addition to the responses below, there have been hundreds of emails answering the question, which suddenly made me realize that no one has really ever asked this question before in a format that provides ordinary people with the ability to respond.
There is also a yearning to talk about this issue, publicly and with deliberation; massively so. And I am hopeful (insert grin here) this small corner of the internet is about to push this conversation into a much larger national forum. Our nation needs a big conversation about this.
If I had to pick a single phrase to encapsulate the myriad of phenomenal responses to the question I would use the phrase, “intellectual discernment”; which again provides buckets of faith that a large number of people are wide awake, albeit part of what I call a potato revolution growing safely underground.
Also, unbeknownst to front page readers I am stunned at the people in/around operation warp-speed, these are people in government directly attached to the issue, who have contacted CTH on the backside, stepped forward and said they also didn’t take the shot because, well, despite their belief in the purpose and principle at the time, things were just not adding up and ultimately seemed sketchy. They couldn’t talk (so they felt), couldn’t even hint at their concern; but when it came to making the personal decision, they waited.
I also owe it to you to answer the question of my own status, which is a big heck no – I did not take the jab.
Why? Because in the preceding years of all my research into the rapidly exposed corruption of our government, there was just no way in hell I was going to trust that same system. A system that literally was working outside the constitution and legal framework of our nation to destroy a sitting U.S. President is going to suddenly care about my health. Nope, it did not align. I also looked at the datapoint of the U.S.S. Comfort delivered to New York City under the grandest of media proclamations about impending medical doom, only to see the ship sit empty and completely unused despite the scale of the narrative that surround its purpose.
Lastly, and more obliquely, the datapoint of one of my heroes Franklin Graham assembling a NY field hospital to serve over 20,000 patients; another massive endeavor that sat empty and without use. However, prior to the hindsight, it was the in-real-time fight from officials in/around the area who tried to block Samaritans Purse from setting up the facility. If the SARS-CoV-2 issue was as great a threat as declared, then why would anyone fight to keep out a field hospital that could provide such relief. It just didn’t make sense.
Those issues, and others, formed the baseline of my inability to reconcile the key issue of ‘trust’ needed to believe in the vaccine. Additionally, I am healthy and not within any of the risk factors. However, I also feel strongly that each health decision is unique to the individual person, and everyone was making the best decisions for them based on the available information at the time; so, I carry no judgement for those who made a different choice.
As noted, I am bumping this to the top of the site so that our conversation can continue. Normally I would start a new thread, but this one is different. I don’t want to break the continuity and I want to provide everyone the ability to see they are not alone.

I was quite shocked to review a poll I took on the Twitter last month showing that 85% of the people who follow the CTH Twitter account [TLR2] did not take the COVID-19 jab.
Without any judgement implied or inferred I am genuinely curious, why not?
With the situation clearly in hindsight, and/or given all the pressure that may have been applied to each individual situation, I am genuinely curious what was it that made you choose not to take the COVID-19 vaccination.
If you are comfortable, and please understand that no pressure is intended in any way whatsoever, could you share why you didn’t take the vaccine and how do you feel about that decision in hindsight?
If you did take the vaccination, there is also no judgement in this question. As I said back in 2021 each individual is unique, each situation is unique, and each person has to make the best decision about what is in their individual best interests. So please, don’t let this issue divide our conversation.
I am genuinely curious as to the reason so many people would withstand the public and perhaps peer pressure to follow the ‘vaccination’ advice. Also, how has that decision impacted your life? Did you lose friends and family over your personal health decision? Did those relationships heal over time? Or anything else you might find pertinent to the general question.
I’m late to the party, but here goes:
I watched very carefully the reports coming from China, and was moderately concerned. Then I got to thinking. The virus was being reported as early as August as late as October, 2019, depending on which source you believe.
That told me, it was in the states before Thanksgiving, and had quite a head start before they acknowledge it existed. There wasn’t a bunch of people getting randomly sick and/or dying from my network of people. Some of whom are in medicine, some in correctional facilities. Two places it would absolutely show up.
From that standpoint I knew it was being hyped for some reason other than our well being. That made the shot the absolute LAST thing I would do.
We know for a fact SARS-CoV-2 was ‘here’ by at least November 2019 (based on sero-prevalence data) so, when the country shut down in March 2020 – it was way too late to matter. The barn door was closed and the horse was so long gone, it was already in glue bottles.
Two weeks to ‘flatten the curve’ and the government-inflicted chaos that followed were a few of the reasons I soured on the gene therapy shots.
The spouse and I traveled to another TX town to visit family in October 2019. We always stop at a very well known, extremely large, extremely busy gas station/eatery/clean restrooms place. It is located at a crossroads between two very large cities in TX, and, as usual, it was packed wall-to-wall.
While we were with family, we both got extremely sick. Sick enough that we had to stay an extra WEEK before we could pack a couple of items at a time before lying down to rest.
We finally drove home, neither one of us feeling good. The spouse took off a few more days to try to recuperate from the trip home, and then went back to work, having already taken an extra week off, besides a few days of the initial vacation time.
The people there took one look and said, “Whatever you have, you need to go home, because we don’t want to catch it!” It was a full month before either one of us regained any energy or felt well enough to function.
We both firmly believe that we had Covid before it was ever announced in this country. The place we feel we were exposed had a lot of immigrant travelers from all over the place – including Asia.
I told a few people why I didn’t get vaxxed. One dear friend from graduate school wrote a thank you note in the spring of 2021 for a Christmas present I had sent to him and his wife, to which he added a well-intended “don’t forget to get vaccinated!” salutation.
He had been quite conservative for many years but has been living in a deep blue city for the last 15 years, so I guess he has gotten used to getting his information about many things from our Democrat-controlled press. Sigh.
No point in relating the mounting evidence of harm, since and his wife had obviously already taken the shots, but I did offer him a more general take on why I was going to remain one of the unvaxxed:

The vax? Fraudulent Fauci is way undercounting the level of existing immunity and it’s really insane the people they want to see vaccinated. No minors should be getting vaccinated unless they are pre-diabetically obese. They are simply not at risk so the only reason for subjecting them to unknown risks (zero data at this point on possible effects on fertility for instance) would be to protect OTHER people, and we aren’t supposed to push anyone to sacrifice their own health for others in this country, but that is exactly what is happening, and it isn’t even logical. Transmission rates correspond to the degree of symptomicity so young people aren’t a significant route of transmission anyway.
Pregnant women? That is sheer medical malpractice to let any pregnant woman take the vaccine. There have to be ulterior motives for this anti-scientific behavior. The obvious one is the many billions that the vaccine companies are making off of this. Another is the fascistic push for vaccine passports, giving our totalitarian communist Democratic Party a chance to establish the Chinese Communist social credit system nationwide, blocking access to travel, to buildings, to services, and even associations with whoever the communists want to un-person.
Biden already signed an executive order classifying “white supremacists” as terrorists under our existing anti-terror laws, making it a crime to provide banking services for instance to anyone the government labels a white supremacist, and making it illegal for anyone to engage with them in any mutually beneficial way.
Know who our fascist left has been branding a white supremacist for five years? Donald Trump, the most pro-black president since Lincoln, the great uplifter of blacks in America in contrast to Obama the destroyer of black prosperity.
So I’m a little torn about the vax, but not much. I’m in a bit of a risk group for Covid purely on the basis of age. On the other hand, I probably had Covid already but don’t know because that was before testing was available. Also, I don’t consider myself in that much of a risk group anyway.
My older brother was one of the first to get it. He is part of the dance group here in WA who had one of their members die, the first Covid death in WA actually. He says they all got it and it was no big deal for him. About like a flu with a couple of days of fever, then he continued to feel weak for a week or two after the fever broke.
But I know it is random who gets hit hard so I figure there would be significant Covid risk-reduction to getting the vax, but I figure there is also significant vax risk on the other side, so I’m kind of 50-50 on the medical benefit.
As for the social benefit I think we are already having too many people vaccinated. As a society we are breaking the “don’t put all of your eggs in one basket rule.”
Also, in calculating how close we are to herd immunity the CDC isn’t counting immunity from Covid exposure and they aren’t counting innate immunity, or the pre-existing cross immunity from exposure to earlier Coronavirus, which is somewhere around 50%. That cross immunity drastically lowers symptoms and duration which correspondingly lowers transmission.
All that dishonesty and the obvious ulterior motives in the end tips the scale for me. Democrats see this as an opportunity to purge their political opposition. They want to brand their version of the Jews with a yellow star of David and kick them out of society and livelihoods. Sorry but I have to stand with the Jews. If Democrats are going to try to unperson the unvaccinated I will oppose them from the un-personed side.

At that time I had just sent Ivermectin to 15 or 20 fiends and family members, just before the CDC’s demonization of Ivermectin as “horse dewormer” had begun, and of course I sent the horse version, which is identical to the human version (Ivermectin is Ivermectin), except it is mixed with a not-very-perishable food base, and the key point: it does not require a prescription and is readily available at any farm store (just make sure it is the kind where Ivermectin is the only active ingredient).
That is why the CDC demonized the horse version: because it was the one form of Ivermectin they could not block. All of which made for a funny coincidence.
Not so funny is the very serious un-personing of the unvaccinated that had already begun in spring of 2021 my state of Washington, where not only was every state employee who refused the vaccinations fired, but medical and other licenses were revoked, making the opportunistic purge of conservatives very wide ranging.
A good friend of mine was desperate not to get vaccinated and held out until the week before her medical license would have been revoked (ending her practice and dumping her life out into the street). After her second shot she suffered intense heart pain for a month, along with very focused headache’s at the base of her skull that she had never experienced before.
Both still recur, and a large rash that developed on her calf immediately after the vax has never gone away. Thankfully she is still able to do all the things she did before, but she has definitely been injured, forcibly injured, very much against her will, along with many others.

You can buy the IVM injectable for cattle. and take it orally. Not much of a taste and it works normally. That’s what I did. Tractor supply had temporary signs up that it was not approved for human use. But they continued to stock it.
I worked on the clinical side in healthcare. We could not wear surgical mask in an airborne room. WTH, I’m supposed to wear a rag over my face and I’ll be safe? 99.9 % survival rate and I need a vaccine? Huh?
Natural-born contrarian here. The best way to get me to do something is to tell me not to do it or that I can’t. The converse is true as well.

Why did I not take it?
I am so out of sync with the rest of humanity that all I can do is ghost in place and protect my own. More than ninety percent of the people at my workplace have taken the poison. A benefit of the last couple of years is that I now know that there are others with a backbone. Perhaps, after the culling, a better kind of civilization can be fought for by more ruthlessly honest men.
I took the flu vaccine 10 years ago and I got sick. Then I started to research the flu vaccine and found that it was only about 30% effective because they guess what flu strain will be dominant in a given year. I decided then that it made no sense to take it as long as I was heathy. When the Covid shutdown started I began to research random stuff on alternative websites such as Bitchute and Rumble. I stumbled upon a documentary about the Magnitsky Act, which was censored by YouTube and all other mainstream sites. It was shocking to me that major laws were passed all over the world based on a complete lie. That began my awakening. I found Kary Mullis explaining that the PCR test, which he invented and won the Nobel Prize for, could not determine whether a certain virus was making you sick. He also talks about how Fauci is a fraud and idiot, and that he didn’t believe that HIV caused AIDS. That lead me down another path researching HIV and what I found horrified me. Fauci had clearly used AIDS to profit off of murdering gay men with AZT. During this time, the media was ramping up the Covid panic propaganda and pushing masks, which I knew didn’t work because of my science background. I started questioning everything coming from the US government. I found Dr. Robert Malone, Michael Yeadon , Dr. Zelenko and Gert Vanden Bosch all warning that the mRNA injection could be harmful. Then the government and media started the ridiculous narrative that you had to take the shot to protect others, and I knew something was wrong. Why all the coercion? The more they pushed, the more uncomfortable I became about taking the shot. I dug in and refused, almost losing my job. Only a religious exception saved me. So glad I did. I will never take another “vaccine”. Pharma companies are criminal organizations. I lost friends over this, but I don’t care.

I was naturally suspicious of a vaccine that was developed so quickly and decided on a wait-and-see approach. The idea of an mRNA vaccine that changed my body at a cellular level did not sound like a good idea at all. Then hydroxychloroquine came along and I realized I did not need a vaccine anymore. I then was in four hospitals in Southern California from June 2020 to Aug 2020 with a life threatening infection. I walked through the halls daily and counted 1/3 to 80% empty beds, despite news reports of overflowing ERs and hospitals. ERs generally empty, ICU not overwhelmed and empty beds on most floors of all 4 hospitals. I returned to the hospital in Oct ‘20 for another surgery. When put in my room after surgery, I was offered the vaccine. I thought that was strange to offer anything right after a fairly serious surgery—which raised my suspicions even more that this was not about my health or what was best for me. I politely declined and said I would wait.
At this point I was in the Kaiser system and they started the hard sell. I politely declined through numerous doctor visits. Finally when the nurse told the surgeon that I was declining again, a week after a colon reconstruction and ileostomy in July ‘21, he suggested I take it. I could tell he felt obliged or pressured to do this. I had a good relationship with him and I said, “Do you really think it is a good idea to do that to my immune system a week after major surgery?” He paused and said, “Well maybe in 6 weeks you should be okay to take it.”
After my surgeries were over and I was healed, on my last visit my surgeon said he had spent all the holidays in 2021 working 16 hours a day, completely exhausted, removing very advanced cancers from very sick people. He said he has never seen anything like this in his career. I asked if he had any ideas what was causing this and he said that people had missed their cancer screenings during covid (a year before?). Anyway, he never pressured me to take the vaccine again.
Kaiser has not been hard sell on the vaccine for at least the past 6 months. But their system is close to being overwhelmed it seems and they are blaming missed cancer screenings etc in their communications.
I was injured overseas in 2006, with a large mark on my shoulder (where the yellow fever shot went in). After 10+ years, military labs, etc; no one could explain why I lost organs from that episode. Suspicious….
After the same pressure returned in 2021 to “get the shot or else”, I was paranoid. Dived into research (thanks CTH and others), and chose that wife and I would both lose our jobs and lose many friends.
And now we attend their funerals. And we’re the ones carrying on.

I had Covid before I was eligible for the jab (January 2021). I instantly knew something nefarious was afoot when the medical community, politicians and the MSM joined ranks and claimed that Naturally Acquired Immunity was useless.
Try as I might, reading all the responses is a challenge. I am deeply impressed by the stories and equally pained for those who have suffered loss. This confirms my belief that there are more of us than there of them. Thank God for Sundance and for the CTH. I pray God continues to bless, guide, guard and protect us all.
I have been anti vax since I was a child of ten in 1958. I was terrified of needles. I did get the first two Polio shots, but when it came to getting the smallpox shit I was so scared that I vomited while standing in line. So they thought I was sick and passed me by. In those days they didn’t give sick kids/people vaccines. So I never got the smallpox shit. I only got one tetinus shot as an older teen. When I was pregnant at age 22 they wanted to give me a Polio shot. I refused. When my son was one year old I took him to the doctor for a “checkup”. He gave him his first DPT. That night my son got real sick with a very high fever and convulsions. He was sick for 3 or 4 days. I vowed to never give him another shot. At school in those days – 1976 all you needed to do was to write on a piece of paper what shots he GOT and hand it in. No questions asked. That was way before computers. He also never got his tonsils out cuz while he was in the hospital at age 4 for an eye operation I saw a kid who was hemmorging after getting his tonsils out. My son grew up strong. As he got older I never saw him with a cold or flu even though he drank. Sadly, he died at age 49 from drugs. I even had him natural birth and nursed him till he was two. I was a hippy mom. So when covid came along in 2020 I researched everything and was obsessive about it. I never had to think twice about not getting the shot. I read all the alternative sites cuz I did anyway and so right off the bat I read from doctors how bad the shots were. In Dec of 2020 I started taking Ivermectin. At first I took it once a month. After a year 2x a month. I take the horse paste. It goes by weight. Each notch is for 50 lbs. I weigh 130 so I take 2 notches which is 100 lbs. I take with applesauce cuz it hides the taste good. I had stocked up on it before they removed it from stores. I still take it. I have the pills too and Hydroxychloroquin and also Zithromyacin. I am saving those for emergency. Got it from All Day Chemist. Affordable. So I do far have not gotten covid and. I vax. If I lose everything becuz I won’t take it then I will live on the street and die if I have to. I will never willingly take it. I refuse to be a controlled sheep. I am also Type O blood and they say we are more resistant to covid. All I know is that I have decided to take Ivermectin for the rest of my life as I believe the vaxxed are shedding their poisons on the unvaccinated. I have lost friends becuz I won’t go near a vaxxed person. I don’t believe the masks protect and I do not wear them. I go out at least 5 days a week shopping at the stores. I listen to Rense.com a lot. He has one hour audios on covid and the shots. Third column to the far right. Jeff& Erica. I won’t go on a ventilator or take Remdesimere as it destroys your kidneys and kills people within 5 days. I am 74.

Your story is very similar to mine.
However, my son, 50 yrs old this week, is still alive, after a terrible car accident that left him with a permanent brain injury.
He is an engineer and had his own business at one time; quite successful. The injury did not affect his intellectual abilities; concentration problems instead.
I understand your philosophy and applaud you for your tenacity and strength.
I am very sorry for your loss; there are no other words to make up for the loss of a child, no matter the age.

Late to the party. I lost my mom in Dec 2019. She was 95. I was watching the clips out of China. There was a flu that took out my son’s family in November and me in January of 2020. So, I was reading about Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin about the time Trump was discussing it. I figured we probably all had it in November and January, so, I did not do anything about it.
When we were shut down in March, I went overboard. Bought masks, wipes, etc, started wiping everything from the store, was prepared to bathe everything in chlorine outside my front door. By the time the jabs were pushed to the over 65 age group though, I had already acquired zinc, quercetin and added them to biotin and D3.
The more I read about the jabs the more questions I had. I had plenty of “conditions”, obesity, asthma, high cholesterol and just over 65. I felt the jabs were rushed, not tested nearly long enough and the technology was unproven. As a software engineer back in the day, I was responsible for making all kinds of hardware do its thing on command, I was familiar with the hype of unproven technology.
I kept reading about dramatic cytokine storms and other reactions to the jabs. With my history of adverse reactions to soap, sun, bees and most mammals, I decided not to get one until I knew more. The more I read the worse the reactions and deaths to the jabs. I read that PEG, pixelated ethylene glycol?, was in the jabs to mask the mRNA from your immune system and that many people were allergic to it.
I already had metal plates and 16 screws removed from my head during a sinus operation because of metal allergies, I was not about to inject anything with the track record of these jabs. The metal was put in during jaw reconstruction to fix congenital developmental abnormality – not from an accident. Besides, I had already figured out from decades of working with physicians on allergies and other issues, doctors do not always know best and they can be wrong. Most are working for their patient’s best outcomes, but there are those that are eyeballing the Benjamins. And, medical science is constantly being revised. They used to tell us saturated fat would make us fat, looks like sugar was the real culprit.
January 2022, I was bed ridden with something flu-like after exposure to painters who came down with covid 19. In retrospect, that probably was covid 19 and not the bout of flu in early 2020. Previously, I had been exposed to covid 19 through my realtor, but I stayed healthy on my quercetin and zinc regimine.
I have followed you for the last few years (mostly due to my husband’s comraderie (sp?) – aka his slight-obsession with you and your viewpoints… he has been so thankful that his thoughts, beliefs, and investigations have had a voice through you and your thought-full posts, and we both truly appreciate your kind, informative, objective perspectives and that you share your honest thoughts and knowledgeable input.
That said, my husband and I often clash, re that “Sundance always knows/understands” is the bottom line on all things, especially conservative politics.
I always attempt to thoughtfully process your main points, and agree most of the time – which of course is a win for my husband.
But I am also by nature a “devil’s advocate,” and often ask questions that I do not believe are answered in discussions with my husband or a very few other (I perceive them as circular discussions), nor you… bottom line, I do not understand why, especially in the past four crazy years we have endured, that only a few bits of conservative information, opinions, research details, etc. have come to light/been published for the average American to consider.
Yes, I understand that the “average media journalist” risks his/her job for this endeavor. But truly, is there NO conservative journalist IN THE WORLD who does not experience that worry/pressure? WHY can we only access “the truth”- that we believe is on point, on so many issues – from you? No criticism toward you (at all), but is there not anyone in the conservative mainstream that can address the many issues/thoughts/concerns/”Real Truth” that we in this arena believe/agree on??
As far as I can tell, TruthSocial.com is the only accessible outlet (which I imagine is not followed regularly by non-Trump-ers) where one can access the “other side” of what is widely spread via the world’s major journalists, newscasters, bloggers, etc. Please encourage us in how the word of political conservatism (nationalism) can be spread among all, despite party lines… I am losing hope, particularly in the upcoming presidential election.

1. We are healthy with excellent immune systems. Our risk from WuFlu is minimal.
2. The risks from the “vaccine” are far greater than the disease it’s supposed to defend against.
3. The VAERS database reports adverse effects and deaths for 2021 far exceeding the total of the previous 30 years of vaccine reporting, combined, and it is only halfway through the year! And those reporting to VAERS are estimated to be 10% of the actual numbers.
4. If the “vaccine” is new, it is impossible for it to have been tested for long term affects.
5. If, as some say this vaccine technique has been around for over a decade, why wasn’t it ever approved? It must have serious problems.
6. The FDA approved it for Emergency Use Only.

I did not take the jab even though I worked for a company which was defined as a Federal Contractor and my employer made it very painful to not comply in the November 2021 time period. I never considered getting the jab as I would just let them fire me and I also remember praying to God over the issue and he said loud to me ‘Trust’ so I did. Within my company a group created a Signal message group where those not getting the jab could communicate on strategies to submit religious exemptions. It was good to communicate with others who were in the same mind set as me, however I had seen the exact exemption form our company sent out in an article in August and I knew they would never accept anything submitted (which they didn’t). I still work for this company as when the deadline came around December 9, 2021, 25% of the workforce still had not been vaccinated and I believe a judge had put a hold on it by then.
As background from the beginning in February and March 2020 I knew the Covid pandemic was a scam or at least fishy. My wife and I follow many alternative news source web sites and programs including CTH, Ace of Spades, Zerohedge, andweknow.com, Flash Point and others which all had articles questioning the official narrative and then as people like Ryan Cole, Simone Gold and Peter McCullough were sending out truth articles we knew the vaccine was poison. We unfortunately lost multiple conversations with family and friends as we tried to tell others what we knew, however the media’s ability to instill fear into everyone made it very difficult. We never were fearful of Covid even though both my wife and I got something weird which we assume was covid but since we were taking vitamin C, D and zinc it wasn’t severe for either of us.
I would agree that discernment was the reason we didn’t get it. We already had a high distrust in the media for decades from listening to Rush Limbaugh. We also never caved to the fear – probably because the Bible says ‘Fear not’ 365 times in some form and we put our trust in God.
In December of 2019, I was blessed to have learned that vaccine manufacturers don’t have any liability for any childhood vaccine. After numerous times wondering why my perfectly normal children and their friends/cousins all had asthma and allergies- as that had not been my experience growing up. Once I learned this tidbit I went deep down the rabbit hole. I am so grateful for the timing. Once I learned about warp speed something seemed off especially with a new technology that wasn’t approved or tested before. Everyone hounded my family to get it and we held strong. I did get Covid twice in 6 months. It was absolutely not fun. I had long Covid and lasting effects. It was terrible but I am convinced that the shot would have killed or maimed me. I am absolutely convinced. I praise god everyday that I held strong to my beliefs. Now all of my family members that got the shots are wondering why they are fighting illness for months on end. They have destroyed their immune system and I pray that each of them survive the long term effects.
There are many reasons I did NOT take the COV-19 bioweapon clot shot. As a former Paramedic I was required to take many vaccines regularly in order to be employed either on an ambulance or in the ER, I complied. To call me an ANTI-VAXER is the height of insanity.
Please tell me another time in the History of this Country that people were told to go home and just wait till your lip turn blue, then we can treat you?
Early treatment in any disease has always the treatment.
My hesitancy goes back to the the early days of Covid. My brother fighting cancer got Covid and spent 6 weeks of hell at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. After being no responsive for 6 days he was released to hospice. There he got HCQ treatment and within 2 weeks tested negative. So I knew what I was hearing was fake news. Once the shot began being used the thrombocytopenia was listed by the FDA as a side effect. I already have it. I believe that the Spike Protein is dangerous, from either the virus or the shot. I drew a line down a sheet of paper and listed on one side what I could do to fight the virus. HCQ, Ivermectin, Healthy Immune, nasal wash, etc.. The other I tried to list what I could do to fight what the shot was doing. I couldn’t come up with anything. Solved my dilemma.
My wife and I did not take the shot because it is not a vaccine. At the time that the vaccine was developed the definition of what a vaccine was (and I paraphrase) — a vaccine, when given, confirms immunity upon the individual to the disease that the vaccine was developed to protect them from getting. However, the week of Sept. 4, 2021, the CDC, without any public input or advance announcement, replaced the word “immunity” with “initiates an immune response” to, once again, lie to the public. The government even said the shot WOULD NOT give you immunity from the virus but would lessen the severity of the symptoms if you did get sick from the virus. Thus, we did not take the mislabeled vaccine — and how glad we are we passed on taking this faux vaccine. Plus, being a biologist and aware that it takes on average over a decade to develop a safe vaccine, I did not trust the information coming from the government nor the companies developing the vaccine(s). Again, my gut was correct and the information coming out concerning the questi0nable testing of this faux vaccine is looking like it was being developed as a bio-weapon.
I tried to convey my thoughts to family and friends and EVERYONE OF THEM ignored me and told me I did not know what I was talking about. Now most of them say they wish they had not taken the jab and they now live in fear of going to sleep and not waking up. I feel so incredibly sad that they are living out the remainder of their lives living with such an unnecessary mental burden.I personally know of four people who have died post injection and I am totally saddened by their deaths.
I knew that one day the worm was going to turn and I am so excited to see this happening across the world. People need to be arrested, tried and, if found guilty, go to prison for life for what they have done to millions, if not billions, of people for their criminal behavior and the sooner the better. I say we start with Fauci.
Something important to now consider: Not knowing who has been injected recently.
The “shedding” is a real thing and can occur up to 2 weeks after being injected. If we are around people and are within distance of them exhaling, we are at risk.

I am a nurse and I have to say that I first started questioning our medical system about 7-8 years ago when the message was for everyone to get a flu shot. Healthy people of all ages and children. That struck me as odd since the shot was only encouraged for the elderly, and the chronically ill. I never took the flu shot nor did I get it for my children. Then when the covid shot came out it was a no brainer for me. Not to mention that I am morally opposed to how it was made. I do not trust the medical system. I will never get any vaccine.
I know SD asked for info on those NOT receiving the dirty vaccination but decided to share my experience anyway. In July/August2021, against the will of my heart, I took the first two shots because my husband (vax’d in 2021 at 70 & booster 2022 at 71), who was recovering from a near fatal car accident as the time, was paranoid and insisted that I get vaccinated in 2021. I couldn’t bring myself to lie to him and just say that I did…trust me I’ll lie next time. I drew the line at the booster though. Neither of us have had any issues to my knowledge; oh we both came down with a relatively mild case of Covid (or so the HOME TEST indicated) in 2022. My son, 32-yo in 2021 took the 1st shot amid hesitations and concern for the elderly in his circle…when it came time for the 2nd portion, he came to me in tears and said he WAS NOT taking the 2nd one. We discussed it because I really didn’t feel secure about him getting jabbed to begin with and told him I was behind him 100%. Oh he still came down with the crap later (again per home test) as did his wife (she at 28 had the crud before AND after receiving the vax). My niece, who was on the initial front lines nursing the covid afflicted at the beginning and working from a freaking tent on the lawn of the hospital, is now an ICU nurse and tells me that almost DAILY she has 40-55 year old male patients, with NO PRIOR ISSUES, being admitted to ICU…and dying…regardless of ICU measures (or being vax’d). I’m 66…I will never consider such haphazardly thrown together, manipulated, political, government “mandated” medical advice EVER AGAIN. I do not get a pneumonia or flu vaccine either, never have (so what was I thinking with the stupid Covid shot??). I’m pretty healthy…no daily meds “required”…I’m blessed and know it! I know many that were not planning to take the “vaccine” that ended up doing so to attend to the needs of loved ones. They were coerced to take them. It is horrific that this level of manipulation was used to get jabs in arms.

You do not get the correct answers until you ask the correct questions. Can the government close your private business if they choose, or does the owner have the right to stay open? Are you innocent until proven guilt/Are you healthy until proven sick? Does health belong to the individual or the State? Does health come from the outside in or from the inside out? Why was the definition of vaccine changed after Covid? Is the Covid shot an experiment? Is mandating that someone participate in experiment remove their ability to provide voluntary consent? Is it ever possible to have voluntary consent to perform an experiment on a patient as a health care provider if you know the patient is under a mandate? Should a health care provider refuse to give the shot until the mandating 3rd party removes the mandate allowing the patient to again volunteer to participate in the experiment? Are Covid Shot reactions being tracked? So, You Did Not Take the COVID-19 Shot, Why Not?
I am a nurse of 50 + years (retired right after COVID started). I haven’t taken ANY vaccinations for at least 25 years. Whenever I had taken an inoculation, I got sick. They told me that same shit every time – “good thing you took the shot – it would have been worse if you hadn’t.” Horse hoooey!
in 2008/2009, all of the nurses and doctors as well as ALL ancillary personnel at the hospital where I was working (Penn Medicine in Philadelphia) were MANDATED to take the flu shot as well as a pneumonia shot or lose one’s job. Many got fired. I managed to escape the mandate. They told us that MEDICARE would not pay the hospital if personnel didn’t take the shot.
Here’s the real reason:
The people of the community respect and revere their nurses (at least, they used to). At that time, nurses had been refusing to take ANY flu shots for many years and the public, figuring that the nurses knew what they were doing, weren’t taking them either. Heck! They couldn’t even pay people to take the shots. In order to get the general public to take the shots, the nurses had to be used as examples.
One other interesting comment – that year, the policy on the pneumonia shot changed: the first time one had a pneumonia shot, they were told “NEVER EVER take this shot again! It will probably kill you”. So when they started to tell us that it was safe to take the second pneumonia shot NOW, I asked “were you lying to me then or are you lying to me now”?
More: When COVID came along, there was NO doubt in my mind that it was a scam-first clue? The White House pressers! All those guys were up there on the platform in front of the press shaking hands, patting each other on the back, no masks, no distancing, yukking it up and the the SOS came out in public on live TV and stated that this was just an exercise. to which DJT said on a hot mic, “It would’ve been nice if you’d told us”. Game over for me. Then madness set in. Almost everyone I knew fell for this BS.
Because I’ve had “Covid” 3x’s and all 3 were nothing that I couldn’t have went to work with. So why would I get a vaccine for a cold / flu type of illness?? Especially if it doesn’t stop me from getting it.
We have a vaccine injured (now adult) child and spent 25 years shielding her and her brother from medical tyranny. It was not easy but we were part of a tribe of folks who found the world hostile to our beliefs and labeled us anti-vaxxers. We were hell bent to continue to protect our daughter by being the front line for her. And we had learned so much about the corruption in our medical system that we sheltered in place and just watched to see what would unfold. Already full skeptics, the George Floyd riots and the propaganda regime spouting that they were perfectly safe (from covid) but Gramma had to die alone in the nursing home, well, that was telling! Dr. Stella Immanuel and the other Frontline doctors speaking medical truths, and John MacArthur resuming church services against great persecution and pressure, fortified our resolve. My husband had 4 hospitalizations during covid and the pressure on him was ridiculous to get the shot but we never caved. We live in a state extreme in its covid lockdowns and masks are still required in all medical facilities. I have a terrible feeling this is just a warm-up to something more nefarious ahead so it is good to know we have a tribe of warriors out there.
I first got a clue that something was “off” with the virus when people were not dropping like flies as we saw from the videos from China that showed that. I come from a large family so we all went through the normal childhood diseases and flu. We had all the normal vaccines as children. We had 5 I think, and now children are expected to receive 70 plus shots by the time they are 18!
The fear porn that was being pushed was over the top and made me think there was an ulterior motive to the “vaccine.” I have health issues and allergies that make me investigate any new medications presented by my doctors. I have had severe reactions to some, the flu vaccine being one. I’ve had the flu twice; when I was 6 and when I was 72.
I asked my doctor what was his impression of Dr. Fauci and he said, “he sure does like the cameras doesn’t he.” He never pushed the shot to me but I had to mask up to get in to see him. I told him the masks would not stop a virus and he said , ” but it will stop other things.”
I made a medical decision for a sibling who is in a facility, which I regret. I signed a permission form using the data I had at the time for him to get the Pfizer shot. Thankfully he has had no ill effects. Since then I have let all staff know that he is NOT to get any boosters and he is not to have any shots based on the mRna.
I have lost family members to other illnesses during the three years of this nightmare and I am sure they did not receive adequate care during this time as Covid was the only thing getting attention. I am pretty sure a cousin died from the 2nd Pfizer shot as he passed 12 days after receiving it.
I did a lot of research and when the FOIA Pfizer testing documents dropped I downloaded them and printed out the results.
I presented them to my doctor. The results of testing showed 1223 people died during the 2 months of testing! There were 9 pages of adverse reactions listed. He wanted to know why my heart rate was elevated. I told him maybe because I was pissed off! I don’t like being lied to and we were definitely lied to.
I have pretty much lost all respect for the medical profession as they seem to have been the most sheep-like. They never questioned CDC or FDA or NIH.
I followed Dr . Zelenko’s advice for protocol. I will never get another vaccine. My son had to get the J&J shot to keep his job. He will not let his sons get the shot and probably any more vaccines. My daughter, son-in-law, and both grandchildren got the shots early on and are probably boosted too. They worry because I did not get it, and I worry because they did! I sent her a video of of Dr. Ryan Cole explaining what he was finding when he was doing autopsies on people who had the shot. we have never discussed it.
Now we see all the people who have “died suddenly.”

He also prescribed vitamins a, b, c and d, magnesium, zinc and melatonin. Within 24 hours we knew we were not getting any sicker, within 48 hours we were getting better, on day three we had our taste back, on day four we were over it and on day 6 we went and got the monoclonal antibody injections. There were 7 to 10 days of fatigue afterwards. Don’t let anybody bs you, hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin are the key.

When COVID hit, but pre-vaccine, I did what I thought responsible citizens should do and masked-up, social distanced, all of that. But I had served, briefly, in a US Army psychological operations unit and gone on to write a dissertation on propaganda, and The Narrative ™ began to stink of a propaganda campaign very early on, and one like I hadn’t seen before.
It wasn’t my strong suit, but I had formal training in statistics in graduate school, and I am fortunate to live in a state where the health authorities began publishing rather comprehensive COVID statistics (down to ZIP code level) early on. The stats simply didn’t match The Narrative ™. At all.
Since I was retired (not from the military) by then and lived in a semi-rural, conservative area, it was very easy for me to just nope out of all the craziness and I did so. I salute those of you stood firm in much more difficult circumstances. If you didn’t, forgive yourself and revise your thinking. We’ve all made misteaks.
In late 2021 I had a case of what I normally would have assumed was seasonal flu, though it felt a bit different. A day in bed and a day or so feeling a bit wonky and then it was done. COVID? Don’t know, don’t care.

My wife was early to the vaccine party as she was working for a hospital. She was coerced. I had the opportunity early on to go in and take an “extra dose” when a vial was opened and had to be used quickly or thrown away. But I declined. Initially, I was just skeptical and took a “wait and see” approach. I figured I could always change my mind and be vaxxed. But I couldn’t change my mind and be UN-vaxxed. So I waited. But… the more I learned, the less I trusted it. Still not vaxxed.
The issue many of us have who declined is being vilified for our choice. It should be an individual choice, freely made by informed consent and not coerced by anyone else be it employer or government.
I was alarmed when the “covid vaccine,” forced all the dictionaries to change the definition of what a vaccine is.
As I read about those changes and why, I decided not to trust these new mRNA jabs until I had done plenty of research on each of them.
I was close to getting the Johnson&Johnson jab when it was pulled off the market.
So, they were all bad sounding.
Seemed like a lot of risk for a disease you had to be tested for to even know you had, too.
Then I learned about “the protocol,” and stocked up on ivermectin and started taking all the other parts.
Later I became aware of nasal sprays that kill viruses and began using them before going out where I might be at risk.
Still, last June I got the covid omicron infection.
I was sick for 3 days.
As soon as I even felt sick I tested and started the 5 day ivermectin.
Now, I guess I have immunity.
All this while over 70 and with several comorbidities.
I had COVID early on, in fact the day they did the first 2 weeks to flatten the curve in March of 2020. I was VERY ill, I had COVID along with Influenza A & B at the same time. My wife, we later learned, had it asymptomatically. When I was feeling better I did a Facebook Live video just telling people who might be scared and want to know more about my experience I would be available to talk with anyone. One of those who saw it was a friend’s wife, who I knew was a doctor, but didn’t know was also a COVID research scientist who had been studying it here, in Asia and Europe since 2019. He started educating me on the disease, gave me some things to help me rebuild my body after. He also told us emphatically to not take any vaccines since he said we have a much stronger immunity from having had the virus. He said the vaccines would actually reduce our immunity. The longer things go the more right he has been and wrong the CDC, Fauci and the media has been.
QUESTION AUTHORITY. I’m 69 years old and was one of the original hippies. There was a saying, QUESTION AUTHORITY. My fiance, myself and my daughter did not take the vaccine. Me because I would not touch anything with a 10-ft pole that was going to (m)odify my RNA, my fiance because she won’t take a drug that has not been on the market for at least 5 years, and my 30 yo daughter because she heard it could affect her ability to become pregnant. In October of 2020 my fiance and I caught a bad case of covid but did not get a fever. I am a member of a group of gentlemen called Men of Honor, that are very active politically at a grassroots level including school board and county budget meetings, and we meet every other Saturday for 1 hour. We had a doctor’s name in Georgia that we shared among us, to whom Margaret and I would reach out. Over the weekend we had a slight dry cough, and on Monday we had lost our sense of taste and smell. Tuesday afternoon when we scheduled the appointment for that evening’s telemed conference, his office told us to locate a pharmacy that would fill the prescriptions for ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. One local chain and one national chain inquired what the ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine were for, and when we told them covid, they said they would not fill the prescription. That’s bad medicine. Walgreens filled it and I later returned to that pharmacy to thank them for practicing good medicine. After the telemed conference with nine other people from East Coast to west at $100 a head, we were prescribed ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine and probenecid (a gout drug that helps the body absorb vitamins more efficiently,) massive amounts of vitamin A, b, c and d, zinc, magnesium and melatonin. We gathered up the medicine and vitamins on Wednesday and started the 4 day regimen on Wednesday evening. By Thursday morning we knew we were not getting any sicker, by Friday we knew we were getting better, by Saturday we had our taste and smell back, and on Sunday we were pretty much over it. 2 days later we went and got the monoclonal antibody infusions. There was an additional week to 10 days of fatigue. Don’t let anybody BS you, ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine are the key. My understanding is the day after Trump mentioned the word hydroxychloroquine, the world’s second largest manufacturing plant of hydroxychloroquine burned to the ground, it may have been in the Philippines. Also, visit the National Institute of Health’s website, nih.org, and in the search bar type ivermectin/cancer. Per the national institute of health, ivermectin cures many cancers. At 54, I am VERY healthy, I can do math, and I am a skeptic of big government, big media, and big pharma. All three of those entities have a terrible track record when it comes to the truth and veracity. From the outset, COVID represented the weird fusion of all three of those entities into one specific message.
My GF is an MD with the FDA who works on drug approval and I was well aware that 4-7 years was the normal approval period for new medications. When the vaccines hit the market with the three entities repeated over and over that the vaccines were “safe and effective” I knew they were lying. No long term data exists, and there was absolutely no way they could make these claims. This isn’t rocket surgery, it’s an obvious lie.
So for me, it was a no-brainer. I was going to wait and see and here we are…
Common sense is my guiding light for almost every decision I make. First of all, the mainstream media was on this like a Dog on a Cat. The way they were pushing masks and so-called social distancing were the first things that had me suspicious. If a mask could not keep out cigarette smoke then it certainly could not keep out virus particles. The fervor of the media however was all I needed. I remember the quote in one of Shakespeare’s works “The lady doth protest too much, methinks”. That was all I needed. I am 83 years old and according to the talking heads, I am in the most susceptible group but I have never worn a mask except for two plane rides I took in 2020 and they wouldn’t have let me on the plane without one. I have never had a flu shot and have never had the flu. I have been thrown out of a few establishments but never a grocery store so I have suffered little hardship. I can boil it down this way: if tv news says something then it is a lie. I get my information elsewhere. It goes without saying that this Covid thing is the greatest falsehood in the history of mankind. Hospitals were and still are getting paid extra for every so-called Covid case they treat. It is a fact that Covid has NEVER been isolated as a virus. The CDC has admitted that the test was faulty as it could not distinguish between the flu and Covid and that is because Covid is not a virus. I immediately sensed that something was wrong. It was probably helpful that I had completely avoided MSM for a decade (except the occasional Fox snippets SD posted on this site).
Further, when these people (clip below) did a full 180, my suspicions that this was not about health were 100% confirmed. There was just no was I was going to take the jab.
I was very aware of masking protocols and found that right off the bat that the reaction was politicized and propagandized. When the crushing of dissent regarding early treatments was rampant it only reinforced my feelings. The Great Barrington declaration and the exposure of ecohealth and fauci just made me more suspicious. The calls for censorship only made it all worse. Simple logic regarding the time it takes to make sure the jabs were safe was also at the top of my mind. Simply being a lifelong skeptic helped me along also.
Hello my fellow “Pure Bloods”. I didn’t take the Jab because I knew from the get go, before they announced the crap in the U.S that it was a SCAM!!! If I did get Covid it was way early, like Thanksgiving of ‘19?? I had a little job at a Gas station when the shit hit the fan. WE NEVER CLOSED ONE DAY! I worked through the Whole thing! Then I changed jobs in ‘20 & went to work at an Assisted Living Facility! That was just SAD 😞 They jabbed ALL those poor ppl! There were a couple who refused, one of my fav’s did pass away, but she had been headed that way already! They tested us weekly and then on Oct. 19 I was “suspended “ for Non-compliance! Lost my job😢
This thing is FAR from over, we are only just beginning to see the short term effects! Unfortunately it’s going to get worse. But if we band TOGETHER and stand strong we can Save our country! God Bless you all❤️❤️❤️

why I did not get the shot: I read the Bible. I know who the enemy is. The answer is found when Jesus was tempted by Satan in the desert. spoiler alert: I know who wins. It’s not Satan even though he seems to be still holding on to those kingdoms/cities and governments. It’s a delusion. Jesus won, we are in the midst of winning.
My horror history with allopathic medicine started when I was a young adult in the early 1970’s and continued into the late 90’s early zeros taking care of my elder parents and a couple of aunts and uncles. Most doctors are over-educated idiots. And they don’t listen.
The spouse and I don’t have “healthcare/insurance” and we absolutely don’t care because we don’t have a doctor either. We are on zero pharm.drugs. We eat healthy and we take personal responsibility for the shape we are in.
An elder relative, one currently in my care, described as high functioning autistic, got the flu shot on his doctor’s (and my sisters) recommendation, it was against my wishes. Flu shot – 3 yrs in a row and 3 yrs in a row afterwards landed in the emergency hospital – each time sooner and sooner. The third time, it was within 2 weeks of the flu shot and I was told he had mini strokes. My sisters, and his doctor are still in denial today, that the flu shot had anything to do with his hospitalization, yet they have stopped insisting on his annual flu shot and he has not returned to the emergency room. But the damage was done.
Both sisters and their household did get the covid vaxx. Now they are more than a little worried and not so much in denial anymore. They are not getting the boosters. My autistic relative did not get the Covid vaxx and neither did my spouse and I. All 3 of us caught covid in early Jan2020 so we all have natural immunity. I knew nothing beats natural immunity even though they were lying about that too.
The spouse and I were both thrown out of Walmart’s (summer 2020) for not wearing a mask. We are totally non-compliant to tyrants.
Already suspicious of the medical industrial complex, I got serious into studying “alternate” health in the 1990’s as my Dad, a retired FDNY, health began to decline. He did not trust his doctors either. I subscribed to hardcopy health newsletters back then, such as Dr. Mercola and others. Soon the internet started to happen and it was off to the races. I am constantly reading/studying/note taking. I usually have several tabs and several windows opened on my computer. I am 100% organically educated and for more years than it takes to get a medical degree. If something I thought I knew doesn’t pan out, I have no ego or certificate hanging on the wall that tells me to hang on to ‘wrong think’. I ditch it, because our health is of paramount importance.
So, in summation – I didn’t trust their flu shots from decades ago, I already had natural immunity to their hyper-bull$#!t covid vax. It was a walk in the park for someone like me. I saw it as all politics.
My husband and I had Covid in July of 2020. Long before any of that shot business came along. It’s erroneous to call that thing a vaccine! Our doctor pressured us to get the shots. So, I asked him if he ever took any non-FDA approved drugs? He replied “of course not!”. I then asked him then why should we? He had no response to that. I told him don’t ask us again or I will be looking for another doctor. Haven’t heard a peep out of him since then about that shot. My husband and I think that’s just too funny. Our 3 kids are smart and no shots for them. Not for our grandkids either! IF they would have told us we couldn’t see the grandkids I would of said fine (eventhough it would of crushed us!). When you finally pull your heads out of your butts, we’ll see you then. Fortunately for us they didn’t take that path. We are Blessed. I know families that are not…
We are both RNs.
My wife was required to get the jab, to keep her job and I retired early to avoid it. She received 2 boosters as well. She started having gastric problems in November of 21 and diagnosed with gastric cancer April of 22. Died 6 months later she was 55. I have no doubt the jab killed her. Perfectly healthy, unmedicated. I am angry at those who forced and manipulated us into this.
I want my country back.

I’m really late to the party here. Love the post and answers. There are so many reasons for me – most of which have been posted by my fellow treepers, all apply.
I have always been suspicious of vaccines when first controversy’s regarding link to autism came up. I was pro-vax then and thought people were crazy to not vax.
I then watched the progression of the propaganda machine regarding flu shots. It went from never hearing about it to full on multimedia campaigns to push the flu vax. Daily reports of flu deaths, constant marketing, drug stores advertising free shots- over the years it was obvious there was something else going on and I believed it was about the $$ and
1. bcz they don’t really work – they guess on the “flu” virus in the shot.
2. There was no vaccine for a cold virus so how can there be one for a flu “virus”?
3. I didn’t see huge amounts of people actually dying from the flu…until they changed the definition. It was apparent that it was in big pharmas interest not the publics interest to get a flu shot.
I saw with the bird flu & swine flu hysteria where the numbers were inflated and learned they changed the definition of a flu death and combined flu & pneumonia as 1 cause of death. The swine flu vax was pulled bcz it killed people-you know –when that mattered…
I read “Dr. Mary’s Monkey”, a book about the polio vaccine debacle, the gov cover-up and release of vaxs that were known to be dangerous. I was gobsmacked by the information. I started a deep dive into anything vaccine & big pharma related, reading and studying everything I could get my hands on and have been for years.
The information available is scary, every parent should watch the movie VAXXED 1 & 2 – if they did they would never vax their children again.
I never got a flu shot and never got the flu except for 1 time-got the shot then got the flu.
I recognized what this covid vax was and what was behind it. I was lucky as I am retired and was not required to get a shot.
Everyone in my family got the vax and also got covid, except for my nephew he also refused the clot shot but he did get covid. I haven’t gotten covid unless I had a “mild case”- and not known it.
I believe a preventative holistic approach keep the immune system healthy with good nutrition, exercise, & Vit D is better for you than poison being shot into your body. I would have used ivermectin or HCQ if I got sick, so far praise the lord I haven’t needed it.
I’m also blessed with some common sense and do not believe or trust what the media, gov, medical mafia and big pharma tell us is true. None of it made sense.
You know like oxycodone was safe and non-addictive…look how that worked out.
If you are healthy the doctors, hospitals & pharma do not have a $$ patients. We in America have sick-care not healthcare. It’s all by design.
Which brings to mind the time when ADHD became all the rage for youngsters who were usually very active, happy, healthy boys who wanted to run and play, rather than sit still in kindergarten, or other elementary grades in government operated propaganda centers. As I recall, it had to have been in the late 80’s or early 90’s when Mom’s were called into school (my kids graduated in 90 and 91), and the teacher and school nurse had these parent discussion and recommended their child see a pediatrician and get a prescription to ‘control the child’s behavior’!
That was the first time a big red flag came to mind’s eye and I started screaming about the drugs being introduced to children and parents were buying into it, because it was the easy way out. They had a normal kid who needed attention and discipline and not drugs to alter their brain(s) and behavior.
That was the same year that NYS was designing a “health education program” for kindergarten on sex education. I sat on that committee and spent the entire time in outrage. The school superintendent was red faced with his head down, and the only other person on that committee who was as outraged as me was an RN from the local hospital who lived in the community.
So, what we are living through today was well in the making back in the 20th century, at least in NYS.
Needless to say, many agreed with me but others (Moms and Dads with “problem” children), not so much, and of course, the experts in education disagreed with me and thought I was a conspiracy nut wearing a ‘tin-foil hat’.
Thus, began my career in activist politics. Whoa! Looking back on it; I have no idea how I did it.
But I have no regrets. At least everyone knew where I stood on the topic(s) that affected our community and our children.
Today, we are a drug addled society and many of us saw it coming. Top it all off with the surge of technology and bingo! A perfect baby-sitter for the 2 income family. Give them a computer, an iPhone, an iPad, lotsa ‘games’ and Mom and Dad can relax after a hard day’s work.
Why are we shocked that we are now into wokeism and LGBTQWXYZ+ Alphabet soup society?
I remember when we were in church at least 2-3 times a week and our kids were in parochial school, praying daily.
We were all stunned when we had to send them to “public school” because parochial school in our area only went to the 8th grade. What a pity!
I just keep living and praying for some sanity to prevail.
For the record, two of my four children had bona fide ADHD/symptoms, which I believe, or the symptoms, are a precursor to some other, not always, mental health issues. And my kids went to the catholic school.
What my children and I went through, was beyond comprehension…their father was worthless and I was left to deal with it on my own…a house divided cannot stand. And it did not.
Society expects an instant cure for everything.
I was in the Navy and got the flu vaccine every year (they really push it) and I never got sick (probably because I was young and healthy).
Then one year in my mid 40s I had a bad reaction to the flu vaccine.
I never used to have have allergies prior to that vaccine and now ever since (over ten years) I struggle to keep my allergies in check.
Needless to say, I do not get the flu vaccine anymore.
I’ve taken some time to think over where I was in my thought process back in 2020 compared to where I am and what I know now
The one thought I keep going back to – It doesn’t make sense
Covid is the flu. Might’ve been very contagious, and dangerous to some (just like pneumonia and bronchitis are) but it’s the flu..Why the hysteria? It didn’t make sense
If a little cotton mask can stop the deadliest virus known to man, why can’t it prevent my neighbors bad breath from seeping thru?
The virus is in the atmosphere – why are we told to only walk in one direction in the grocery store.. As if it can’t sneak up behind you and yell Boo! It didn’t make sense
Side note, ‘cause it still makes me chuckle. When someone would yell at me to “put your mask on!” I would just smile and say, “thanks for thinking of me! I’m not wearing any underwear either!” I kinda enjoyed doing that!
When the vaccines came out, at first I thought “ok, good, we’re done with this nonsense. Vaccinate the vulnerable, because I want my life back!” But that’s now what happened
I decided to wait. Just wait. It’s experimental, and as an athletic healthy 57 y/o, I don’t believe I need it, I’ll take my chances, if I get sick – I get sick, and then get better.
But it wasn’t just the vulnerable who were getting the shot. It was pushed on everyone. That’s when I realized my world has just gotten very small (potential vax passport and travel restrictions) but I’m going to wait
The harder the push to vax, the more I dug in and said No.
The pressure was intense at times, I’m fortunate that my employer did not push for it. And now there’s N F’n Way I’ll let them jab me.
You want the shot? Get it. I don’t. I don’t need it, I don’t want it.

My attitude was that of an anti-masker Karen. I refused to wear one even while working daily with the public. If others avoided me so much the better.

Good response, and well thought out. I am going to poach (plagiarize?) and paraphrase one of the commenters responses if I am asked in the future why I am not wearing a mask: “Oh, yeah, I have a mask, but I only wear it when I’m wearing underwear.”
After being jabbed in late 2002 with an experimental Anthrax vaccine with horrifyingly detrimental health affects by the USN, I vowed to never trust the government again with anything for any reason. That is why.
I pray you’ve recovered. I was lucky. The anthrax shots only gave me a golf ball sized knot on my arm that lasted damn near a month!
The silencing of anyone asking questions, the secrecy from the drug companies, the incestuous relationship between drug companies and the CDC/FDA; but most of all the fact that I could not get a prescription for Ivermectin or any other therapies that might just cure the Wuhan flu are just some of the reasons that I did not get the shot. All very suspicious. Oh…and the fact that they changed the definition of the word vaccine.
Try explaining the recent change in the definition of a vaccine to friends and family and see the blank stares. How people can leave themselves in the dark when it comes to life or death decisions is mind blowing to me. From day ONE I knew the “virus thing” (I refuse to even use the 5 letter name of the virus) was about being able to allow people to vote by mail. Low and behold 2+ weeks into the sham we started hearing in MARCH that people could not be allowed to vote in NOVEMBER for fear of the deadly virus. One silly example on how useless the $1 masks you can buy at gas stations are: I recently used a painters mask snugly fit and after only 5 minutes I checked and paint particles easily made it around and through. How can a virus so small be stopped by a cheap mask- or even better- masks made of cotton or polyester? People are simply afraid to think and stray from the (made up) majority, find a station that spews what you believe, watch it to validate what you think you know, and refuse to even consider contradictory thoughts and FACTS. Had a yucky reaction to my first and only flu vaccine back in the day and learned to scoff at the annual hard sell. I was immediately leery when these experimental shots came along, at first with minor incentives, then coercion and mandates. Nothing felt correct. “Conspiracy world” and Naomi Wolf’s reporting on Warroom affirmed my decision.
Yes, the worst was Sesame Street characters pushing masks and vaccines on healthy kids! Talk about coercion.
