I am bumping this post to the top of the page and updating because, well, I’ll explain.
First, thank you. Sincere and genuine thankfulness for your fellowship. Visitors to this site continue to prove that our nation is created by, and an assembly of, the most decent, honest, generous and kind-hearted people in the world. The responses to the question of ‘why didn’t you take the covid-19 shot?’ are nothing short of remarkable.
In the bigger picture if you want to fill up your faith cup and recognize the scale of commonsense assembly in our nation, take the time to read through the 2,000+ responses.
The feedback you are providing is exceptional and trust me when I say that far more people are reading these responses than you could fathom. Additionally, the responses have reasserted my belief in the scale of our national assembly. There are far more of us, ordinary, hardworking, commonsense, pragmatic and smart people, than the self-described intellectual elites would ever admit.
In addition to the responses below, there have been hundreds of emails answering the question, which suddenly made me realize that no one has really ever asked this question before in a format that provides ordinary people with the ability to respond.
There is also a yearning to talk about this issue, publicly and with deliberation; massively so. And I am hopeful (insert grin here) this small corner of the internet is about to push this conversation into a much larger national forum. Our nation needs a big conversation about this.
If I had to pick a single phrase to encapsulate the myriad of phenomenal responses to the question I would use the phrase, “intellectual discernment”; which again provides buckets of faith that a large number of people are wide awake, albeit part of what I call a potato revolution growing safely underground.
Also, unbeknownst to front page readers I am stunned at the people in/around operation warp-speed, these are people in government directly attached to the issue, who have contacted CTH on the backside, stepped forward and said they also didn’t take the shot because, well, despite their belief in the purpose and principle at the time, things were just not adding up and ultimately seemed sketchy. They couldn’t talk (so they felt), couldn’t even hint at their concern; but when it came to making the personal decision, they waited.
I also owe it to you to answer the question of my own status, which is a big heck no – I did not take the jab.
Why? Because in the preceding years of all my research into the rapidly exposed corruption of our government, there was just no way in hell I was going to trust that same system. A system that literally was working outside the constitution and legal framework of our nation to destroy a sitting U.S. President is going to suddenly care about my health. Nope, it did not align. I also looked at the datapoint of the U.S.S. Comfort delivered to New York City under the grandest of media proclamations about impending medical doom, only to see the ship sit empty and completely unused despite the scale of the narrative that surround its purpose.
Lastly, and more obliquely, the datapoint of one of my heroes Franklin Graham assembling a NY field hospital to serve over 20,000 patients; another massive endeavor that sat empty and without use. However, prior to the hindsight, it was the in-real-time fight from officials in/around the area who tried to block Samaritans Purse from setting up the facility. If the SARS-CoV-2 issue was as great a threat as declared, then why would anyone fight to keep out a field hospital that could provide such relief. It just didn’t make sense.
Those issues, and others, formed the baseline of my inability to reconcile the key issue of ‘trust’ needed to believe in the vaccine. Additionally, I am healthy and not within any of the risk factors. However, I also feel strongly that each health decision is unique to the individual person, and everyone was making the best decisions for them based on the available information at the time; so, I carry no judgement for those who made a different choice.
As noted, I am bumping this to the top of the site so that our conversation can continue. Normally I would start a new thread, but this one is different. I don’t want to break the continuity and I want to provide everyone the ability to see they are not alone.

I was quite shocked to review a poll I took on the Twitter last month showing that 85% of the people who follow the CTH Twitter account [TLR2] did not take the COVID-19 jab.
Without any judgement implied or inferred I am genuinely curious, why not?
With the situation clearly in hindsight, and/or given all the pressure that may have been applied to each individual situation, I am genuinely curious what was it that made you choose not to take the COVID-19 vaccination.
If you are comfortable, and please understand that no pressure is intended in any way whatsoever, could you share why you didn’t take the vaccine and how do you feel about that decision in hindsight?
If you did take the vaccination, there is also no judgement in this question. As I said back in 2021 each individual is unique, each situation is unique, and each person has to make the best decision about what is in their individual best interests. So please, don’t let this issue divide our conversation.
I am genuinely curious as to the reason so many people would withstand the public and perhaps peer pressure to follow the ‘vaccination’ advice. Also, how has that decision impacted your life? Did you lose friends and family over your personal health decision? Did those relationships heal over time? Or anything else you might find pertinent to the general question.
When the wuflu hit the headlines I was scared, really scared. Then by Providence I found information to counter the, Tinpot and MSM narrative. The penny dropped, this was a psy op to control us and now I understand indirectly used to bring in CBDCs.
Previous waking up episodes to other inside jobs by the Tinpots have helped to reinforce my own truth via critical thinking, skepticism and faith.
Later the jab was promulgated in such a dictatorial fashion here in the UK. And anti jabbers treated like outcasts, the muggles were baying for us to be fined and jailed.
The UK became a toxic nation by majority opinion, a people hypnotised by the dark agenda of the power brokers.
I just knew this jab was not good for my body and future health.
I’m convinced my late father’s ( God Bless Him) heart attack that killed him was a direct result of his booster jabs.

In January, 2020, our entire building came down with “bronchitis.” Bought a lot of cough drops. Nobody died, everybody recovered, had antibodies. There was something about Fauci, though. Looked him up online and saw the rage against him by the AIDS activists for his withholding of potential cures from them. That sounded familiar. Knew that the “We Are the Gods of the Democrat Elitist Club” (the “Decadents,” for short,) hated Trump, who stands in the way of their complete control of the Universe and all of its wealth and power. Three years of a string of lies that kept us in a peaceful protest/virus/vaccine/masks/media/political/health/economic/financial/employment/educational/medical/food shortage hell. Straight out of the ancient myths and the wrath of those ancient gods of greed, the evil Dems put their curse on the good people of America and all of our offspring; other countries’ cowardly lying leaders followed suit. Now we must find our will and strength that returns to us our God-given, Constitution-protected Freedoms. Searching now for the strength, the way and the leader to find our way around those demonized voting machines: WANTED: A POSSE OF GOOD CITIZENS & HONEST JUDGES.
I’m late to the conversation, but will add to it as I believe each little story is important to the whole.
I’ve had allergies and reactions to medication all my life, so I am leery of any prescription, injection, etc. I submitted to flu shots for employment but under protest. However, I’ve always been a supporter of our country, believed what I was told regarding 911 and our Middle Eastern invasions, no conspiracy theorist here.
As others have stated here I was horrified at the videos of people dropping dead in China, and had a brief period of extreme concern. I started doing research, sifting the grain from the chaff, and had my doubts about why the government was pushing a narrative, lockdowns, masking, etc.
When the jabs first came out I suggested to my spouse that we both wait until we knew more about them. Shortly afterwards our employer (medical) started offering the jabs, but I was distracted by my father’s medical conditions and didn’t realize that my spouse had been coerced by his coworkers into getting the jab.
I received a phone call from my spouse’s boss, saying something was wrong with him and they were sending him to occupational health. I hurried over and was told that my spouse was confused about his surroundings. He tested for mild to moderate dementia. Afterwards he went to his primary doctor, who tested him again and diagnosed moderate dementia. Scans were negative, no strokes, etc. The neurologist couldn’t find a cause, either. Then I found out that he’d had two jabs and his dementia manifested two days after his second Pfizer shot. He was put on leave, eventually fired when his leave ran out. He begged to come back to work, but was refused.
I was never going to take the jab at this point, even after our employer made it a mandate.
My big “Aha!” moment came while I was home sick, probably with Covid (a week of fever, in bed, weakness). I was bored, started playing podcasts and came across “How to Save the World” with Bret Weinstein, Steve Kirsch, and Dr. Thomas Malone. For over three hours I was transfixed, and I put the credit for my awakening not only on my spouse’s jab injury but with the information I absorbed from that fascinating video. It’s long but doesn’t seem long.
My spouse’s condition continues to deteriorate, and I’ve experienced a bit of the joys of trying to get disability for someone who isn’t faking it. He has his good days and bad, and our adult offspring is staying home with him full time so I can continue to work and provide both income and health insurance.
I don’t trust ANY of them anymore. My faith is in Jesus Christ alone.
For me this starts with my education in science. All of a sudden the discoveries of Edward Jenner was thrown out the window. Early on I saw the scamdemic as a psyop. First order of business: get rid of Trump.
First impeachment: Failed,even though demons were called from hell (recall Strzok?)
Second impeachment: Failed, and the vile Pelosi knew it the eight days before taking the letter of impeachment over to the Senate. She knew that the powers had to get things lined up before executing the biowarfare attack on the world (the war was already underway as a psychological warfare operation- the psychological warfare side was important in the Mass Formation Psychosis that the biological attack needed to counter the truth and control the narrative created to guide the enemies desired outcome).
When the decision was made to launch the bio attack Pelosi and the other House members making a big show of marching down the halls of Congress was a signal that “Operation Wuhan Flu” was executed.
The Wuhan Flu was already infecting people , but the hysteria surrounding it had to be created and amplified to eleven.
First it had to be spread far and wide.
Stopping it at the borders was deemed “racist”.
The CDC changed how the Wuhan Flu was refered to after receiving that common designation. You weren’t even supposed to mention that it came from “CHY-NA.”
The CDC changed the definition of a vaccine.
People were encouraged to hug Chinese.
Infected people were put into senior facilities to up the death count and turn up the hysteria.
The media drummed “cases” as more people got the virus and deaths of people with no context of age and comorbidity.
The cruise ship data was suppressed.
Every death was a result of the disease.
Hospital were paid for Wuhan Flu deaths.
There were no out-patient treatments. When you get sick enough you just return to the hospital to die so they could collect their blood money.
All other ailments were left untreated for the most part.
Alternate treatments were suppressed.
Nurses were so overwhelmed they could only learn three or four dance routines for their tik tok videos.
Free discussion about treatments, source of disease, or common medical knowledge like herd immunity was suppressed.
Historical approaches to dealing with an epidemic were discarded.
There was no risk benefit analysis for the measures taken. Every person and business was a unit to be controlled.
Masking, social distancing, lockdowns, plexiglass barriers were implemented without establishing effectiveness or proper implementation.
Epidemiologists promoted the draconian lockdowns unless the activity was politically correct cheek to jowl protests for drug addict felons that died of an overdose when resisting the police.
Fauci promoted quarantine for everyone unless it was a drug fueled homosexual orgy.
Politicians ignored their own edicts.
The vaccine was propagandized bigly.
Pharmaceuticals made big money.
There was no liability.
The answer to the question “Why didn’t you get vaccinated” is all of this is 99% horse hockey and I’m afraid of needles, but mostly it’s 99% horse hockey.

When Trump first announced Operation Warp Speed in March, 2020 my response was “Welp, I won’t be taking any untested vaccine until it passes the usual 5-10 year FDA testing period.” I have been unwavering since and am astounded that so many people played along. All the herd mentality and mandating and lying and death-wishing since only strengthened my resolve.
My wife and I joined a movement upon discovering frontline doctors and other anti-jab resistance leaders like Drs. Malone, McCullough, Cole, Kory, and Long and others from Ed Dowd and Bobby Kennedy and many others. I now thoroughly distrust the government, the medical establishment and all official institutions. I am now anti-vaxx and anti-Big Pharma and will decline all pharmaceuticals henecforth.
Our relationship with two jabbed adult children has been damaged and we missed irreplaceable time with two baby grandsons who were born in the covid time. Two other adult children endured career setbacks for refusing the jabs. This issue has divided our family.
We know a couple people whose untimely deaths were attributed to the jabs, and have strong suspicions about the quick and untimely deaths of several more. We only know 5 people whose deaths were directly attributable to covid.
I lost my senses of taste and smell and have had other peculiar symptoms since a natural delta infection in August, 2021. I would do exactly the same thing if I had to do it all over.
The FDA has been in bed with Big Pharma for a long time. They are not trustworthy. The CDC and WHO and the pharmaceutical companies are about profitable population control. Frankly, I suspsect that COVID is not even a virus in the sense of a bug or germ that attacks the body, but rather a digital virus. Bill Gates is a computer guy. Our bodies are bio-electric. The meridians used in acupunture/Oriental medicine work with this bioelectric system. When a “virus” happens, I really feel they are broadcasting a signal – possibly from those ominous “cell phone” towers, that affects our physical systems. That may be a bit far fetched for some people to believe, but I think it’s closer to the truth than the official made up story called “the narrative”.
I gave it serious consideration, initially. But I had a career in uncovering con men and con jobs and I taught critical thinking at the university. To put it mildly over the last 30 years rats have been migrating into our government including the elected, and there was almost no credibility coming out of Washington D.C. and by extension anyone or any department linked to that cesspool. The first salvo intended to raise anxiety exposed their neediness. When it was followed by the salvos to raise anxiety to fear, quickly followed by demands for obedience, I was now 80% on the side that there was a hidden agenda and therefore take caution. There were numerous schemes of logical fallacy behind the first salvo that smelled like a con. Everyone singing from the same playbook. A sense of urgency. Dire predictions for failure to obey. In other words, shifting perspective to create a need for safety. My all-time favorite was Dr. Follow Me and his Magic Flute. Finally, the science. Politicians who obviously knew nothing or damn little of the rules and principles of science and scientists who knew them who were contradicting them or ignoring them. When I found out that there was no genome, I smelled a stinking rat-infested ship. I confirmed it by the VAERS and death certificate data and new authoritarian instructions to hospitals as one of the vehicles to force conformity on the medical providers in conjunction with state medical boards and politicians. Since when do medically licensed providers take sides with lawyers? When there is lots of money in it.
This was a psyops, something I have a lot of familiarity with. But for about 4 to 6 weeks, I pondered talking the shot. What kept me from doing so was the coordinated drum beating. A voice in the wilderness is most likely genuine. But more than one voice – it is a team with an agenda.
I taught biology and AP biology as well as Jr High science for years. Raised by one of the.most humble geniuses there was. Taught to think and I taught my students to think. I didn’t believe in Covid. Lock down for a virus? Since when? That made me question its existence. When did we ever quarantine the healthy to preserve the sick? When did we ever persecute the health professionals for suggesting alternative medicines? There were too many things that just didn’t make sense, beginning with the lockdown. And masks. Masks have never been used for preventing transmission of diseases. Always used to prevent saliva spewing I know the sizes of viruses. There’s not a mask made, except a completely solid one, that will prevent a virus from coming through. We were told to wear masks yet on the news were scenes of health care workers in hazmat suits! How was a mask to work? If this virus is so deadly that even our exhaled breath needed to be stopped, why did a swab need to go 6 inches up my nose to find it? If a mask traps the virus why weren’t they biohazards? Why could we throw them in regular trash? If I can smell through my mask how did it stop viruses? Why did people wear a mask and yet take it off and on with the same hands that had touched a hundred different ‘infected’ surfaces? Why were people wearing them outside, for Gods sake?? Or alone in a car?? So many other illogics about masks.
How did we come up with a test so quickly? Why did we use the same test for the new variants?
I know what mRNA is. And an mRNA vaccine is gene therapy. I was raised never to take experimental drugs. Especially something that could change my genetics. How did we have ‘experts’ on a virus that was brand new? These experts were pushing, mandating a vaccine that was experimental. We’ve been down that road before. I know my history.
And where did the flu go? For 2 years there was NO flu! People who were vaccinated were still afraid of catching the disease. That’s not a ‘vaccination’. The entire stupid Covid scenario was a crapshoot. Fear does terrible things to people. And our govt found out how to use it. And don’t even get me started on boosters. And then the variants… started just in the nick of time after the first vaccinations…. Gee, who knew vaccinations could cause variants? About half of the intelligent science/medical world. And demanding vaccinations of anyone and everyone. No targeting of endangered populations such as old people, overweight or those with co-morbidities. Just demand everyone get on, even infants. Someone needs to burn over this. Lots of someone’s.
My Dad was a Microbiologist for Bear. He taught me years ago about viruses. I pissed a lot of folks off saying if you can smell my fart your silly mask just failed you…LOL
I’m late to this discussion as well but here goes:
In January 2020, I was diagnosed as having an unusually “dry bronchitis”. I was given the typical z-pack (which did nothing) and then later a bronchial inhaler which did help. In hindsight, I’m convinced that I had Covid and that it was probably in the United States from at least November. Samsung is in my building here in CA and several of the execs fly back and forth to Seoul and that’s probably the vector for how I got infected.
As for the vaccine – there was no way I would even consider it. I take 5000 I.U. of Vitamin D since 2003 and haven’t had the flu…in fact, the last time I had the flu was when I got my flu shot that same year. When I heard that Big Pharma was going to have legal immunity from these vaccines, I know right then and there that safety was going to be thrown out the window. Aside from the banking industry, Big Pharma is the second most fined sector in the world. I refuse to be a lab rat for Big Pharma.
Queue to 2021 and Biden’s vaccine mandates. Nothing about this “vaccine” made sense….especially how hard it was being pushed. How could someone with any common sense believe what they were saying about it when:
1) Congress was exempt
2) USPS, the people who handle our mail, were exempt.
3) Our new ‘migrants’ from the south were exempt
4) Why a mandate on companies of over 100 employees? Why not all companies? Why were home-workers not exempt?
5) The suppression of alternative treatments that were shown to be effective
6) The fact that nearly all Covid infections were occuring in ‘vaccinated’ people.
7) Why were doctors and nurses mandated to get the vaccine considering they had already been exposed?
8) Why have more people died from vaccine-related injuries in the last two years than all of the last 50?
Looking back at all of this – I truly believe the decision to get the vaccination or not is the 21st century version of an IQ test. I’m glad I and the rest of you passed this test…it looks like we will inherit what’s left.
For me it ( failure to Trust) started with some pretty hard knocks back in the TEA Party era 2008 to 2010. As the then President of the Hawaii State TEA Party I got blindsided by the RINO GOP and Carl Rove. Most folks don’t realize he wrote the script on how to infiltrate and take over the movement. The first step, work with the other side of the uni-party to bring the 3 letter guys in to undermine our leadership. Every sense then I’ve never trusted anything coming from the establishment MSM or our Government. If they all sing its Blue in unison you better bet on it’s red!
I have been a nurse for over thirty years. None of the protocols for prior vaccines was used. No trials were done with chronically ill people, and that’s me. I’ve always gone to the pharmacist with my questions or for information. And this is the same step I followed. I have asked for the drug papers that come in the box with the medication. You won’t find this info anywhere else. I asked the pharmacist for an insert that came with the killer injections. He brought one over and opened the box in front of me. The papers were blank. That made my decision for me. In my whole career, I have never opened a box with the medication packaged in it that didn’t have this information.
When government medical personnel started coming into our retirement community offering free dinner in return for vaccination. The act of bribery is a poor way to instill confidence in an experimental therapy.
The evil intent of the covid 19 jab was very obvious when you have 2 proponents (Gates & Fauci) wanting to depopulate the Earth and yet promote the covid 19 jab as a life saver.
