Well, that was a rather short and disconnected speech with a lot of ‘Are you with me?’ type of beck and calls. I’m not quite sure what to think of it as there wasn’t a lot of meat to chew on. Was he in a hurry to get somewhere else or was he only allotted 6 minutes to speak.
I’m not pro or con as there wasn’t really enough there to rate one way or the other.
I live in PA and I’m TOTALLY DISGUSTED with DJT for endorsing Mehmet Oz (a muslim with dual citizenship in US and Turkey) There were OTHER MAGA candidates that Trump could have endorsed.
Oz can KMA and he STILL won’t get my vote.
So Uncle Festerman is your cyborg of choice? I thought Oz did a good job. He’s come a long way. Why all the hate………………..
Why all of the cheering for a Democrat running on a republican ticket against a Democrat? It’s two progressives arguing over a peanut.
Once in the Senate either or will vote with both the Republican and democratic progressives.
The over hyping and magnified focus on this race screams propaganda from the parties.
Are you voting…dem? Or staying in the basement, crying in your kool ade?
You obviously don’t get the control of the Senate argument. A pity.
If you do live there, as you say, then you should be really pissed with the 50 cent gas jump and another 15 percent increase in food this past week.
And it’s going higher.
You must love the pain!!!
Get real man
Fetterman isn’t worthy to tie his own shoes
The Phillies lost the World Series. Hope this is an omen that Fetterman will lose on Tuesday.
I’ve never been an Oz fan, but not too long ago I saw an interview with him and he explained the Turkish citizenship.
First he said he had worked out giving up his dual citizenship and would NOT serve in the senate as a dual citizen, although there are several currently serving.
Apparently his parents returned to Turkey their nation of birth. His mother is still alive and in bad health. Dr. Oz has medical guardianship of his mother. In order to obtain and maintain that guardianship by the laws of Turkey he has to be a citizen. It is his mother’s wish to spend her final days in Turkey. In order to maintain his dual citizenship he did a short stint in what is basically their guard as a doctor providing medical care.
Dr. Oz has a sister that he claims is mentally ill and is under restraining order to be kept away from his mother. He did not go into any more detail than that.
What he said is that he had worked it out for another family member to take over as guardian of his mother.
Obviously I have no way to verify any of that, but I suppose it could be verified. His explanation sounded reasonable to me, but again. I don’t know Turkish law. If what he says is true I can’t see holding it against him for trying to see that his mother’s wishes are carried out. Sounds like family values and respecting his mother to me.
I don’t live in PA, but if I did I would vote for him. My goodness have you seen Fetterman? I can’t believe the race is so close.
That’s a reasonable explanation for it
Again Fetterman made Pa worse
He was part of the wolf regime to shut the state down
Part of the election steal as that f&&&&@ as@&&$ Shapiro
They all need to be arrested
I like OZ..I believe he is honest..and will do what he says he will do..I have a great sense of people and this man is going to stand by what he says..Everyone beat up on him..because he did a TV show..He gave a lot of great advice on his show..and honestly..people need to wake up!!..You pound him while you have another communist wanting to push himself into congress..!!..Stop nit picking and let’s pull together and keep the commie out of office..
So you prefer to help Fetterman – well bless your heart, with voters like you the USA will continue to circle the drain.
I am not so much worried about Oz’s dual citizenship as his Muslim ‘faith’. Will we have a Muslim Caucus that votes for sharia?
And when was it that Dr. Oz said he was muslim? I don’t really know of a time in this campaign that he has discussed other than his policy views. I doubt you know anything of his faith other than comments made assuming this automatically because of his parents being Turkish. In fact, I don’t know of any credible source discussing his parents religious beliefs.
He is Muslim, but he’s more of a secular one and everything I’ve read confirms that.
His wife isn’t and neither are their children.
Schumer and Schiff have dual citizenship in Israel and you never heard a Democrat complain???
It’s irrational thinking like this that gets communists like Fetterman elected and in position to destroy the USA. Wise up.
Your vote isn’t a declaration of love for the candidate. It’s a chess move for the kind of country you want to live in.
I agree w/your sentiment but take a clothespin and clip it on your nose on Tuesday.
Have to do this and keep pressure on Oz to do what he promised
Oprah endorsed Fetterman
She’s a f’ing louse anyway
And when and where was it that Dr. Oz has discussed his personal religious philosophy? I don’t know of any examples. You ASSUME he is muslim, I would suggest you attempt to look into Dr. Oz’s background as to whom he was mentored by in his phycian education and career and family ties beyond only his parents if you are actually honest about vetting candidates in a political race.
I live in PA and will be voting for Oz! Have you seen the alternative? Fetterman literally has brain damage! Plus his views are extremely radical!
I’m not happy with Oz, but he’s 100% better than Fetterman.
I’m voting for Oz on Tuesday. You have to choose the cards you are dealt.
As of this weekend I simply assume anyone that claims they’re not voting for this R or that R, always for dumb reasons like this, could easily be here for the express purpose of depressing the red wave.
Keep in mind that the enemy has very little left to attempt at this point. It’s either try to stop us from voting or clone Hitlery a couple hundred thousand times.
I try not to insult anyone on purpose, so I will not start my day off in doing so. I have a friend who thinks as you do and I gave him some advice on this election that I will share with you. It is best that you stay home and not vote at all. Wake up, hold your nose, look the other way, and vote for Oz, otherwise stay home.
Another one staying home. Great move? I don’t think so.
OH GEEz..Is that all you could come up with..Really?..You have to rally..You are one those never this..people..!!! You will find something wrong with a rainbow after it rains..It is too big..It is not big enough..All the wrong colors..You better just think about what the left wants in Fetterman..and stop all this BS..
I thought he was great, kept it to the point and comes across as a realistic and relatable candidate. If you have an axe to grind about him, work it out elsewhere. Pray he makes it all the way or it’s going to be Lurch, you dig?
His debate was on topic
The issues, not abortion
The American way destruction is what the issues are
Not one , name anyone in the democommie party that is actually debating….if they are….they’re not discussing the economy hyper inflation, the border, Free speech, and every other liberty stealing schemes these people are doing
I’d give him a chance. He is a follower of the Islamic faith but he was raised in a Turkish family. The Turks have had a history of very moderate Islam. They are not radicals like Iran or Saudi Arabia. Someone should ask him his views on hormone therapy and carving up young children to meet some sexual deviancy of parents. Maybe also ask him his views on releasing repeat murders and rapists into society. I think there is probably a lot of mid ground to share with him.
I’d be interested in his views on the plandemic and vaxseems. I’m thinking he is a far sight more reasonable on this topic than your average doctor these days.
That would be a huge bonus if he is.
It’s still way too much of a mixed bag on jab freedom.
But we need to get back our base freedom first to support that fight.
Kinda weird, he isn’t anywhere close to being his TV personality for a man that is used to cameras. He doesn’t even look like the same man. Just hope he wins on Tuesday.
I thought the founding principles of the USA were of meritocracy, if you work hard anyone can make the American dream.
But in this thread I see a lot of comments on skin, heritage, religion.
The only thing in my experience worth judging a man/woman on is their actions in life.
They can be the most devout Christians, Muslims or Budhists and say the most agreeable things but still make for the worst persons in life in their actions. Just my experience with humanity.
Actions not words. Oz has a chance to prove himself and so far he seems to handle things with integrity and morality.
Oz needs the money, he’s a career politician.
“I’m deeply troubled by calls to defund the FBI.” – Mike Pence
“Black Lives Matter” – Mitt Romney
“Mitt Romney has never broken his word to me.” – Joe Biden
Fake Hate Late Again.
I agree…I also look at a man and his family..!!..He loves his family..his children ..his wife and he takes care of them..and it shows..So I see him..taking what he is doing seriously..and he will do everything he can to do what he says he will do…I think Trump sees that in him as well..and also Trump know that we either back..OZ..who has a lot of values or you end up with Fetterman who has NO..values..
I enjoyed Dr. Oz’s speech. He came across very genuine to me.
Oz will not be #51.
There will be more.
So….question is……how Romney-like will he be?
He doesn’t say much because his views on guns and abortion and open borders are not in line with Conservatives.
Good grief ..He is not freaking money hungry Romney..Romney is for Romney and he ahs always shown it..even when he ran for president..
Not a PA resident but I remain curious, since the original annointing by Pres. Trump. Has Oz ever discussed this epiphany he had that suddenly moderated previously liberal positions – espoused for many years – regarding such things as gun control, abortion, etc.?
He may have lost a few votes last night because he didn’t know the Steelers were on bye week. However all told a must win to send Fetterman back to Braddock where he belongs.
Don’t even give these obstructionists the time of day.
They are trying their best to chip away at support for OZ.
This election comes down to one thing. That happens to be control of the Senate.
If the dems remain in control everything will be swept under the carpet .
Most of the times at this point the next thing said is that nothing will change.
But that’s not the case today. If the dems control the Senate things will only get much much worse.
For one the support for all the brave new MAGA Republicans fighting for our country will disappear.
The uniparty will win again.
Wake up guys it’s about much more than your State .
Lackluster speech to be sure, but at least he doesn’t seem to be the typical corporate-leftist GOP’er a la Mittens, McConnell, Bush, Collins et al. I’m not a believer in the “lesser of two evils” philosophy in general, since it’s done nothing but get us where we are now, but I sure hope he beats you-know-who.
Just a note of observation. I live in Western PA about an hour north of Pittsburgh and over the period of yard signs, I was seeing way too many Fetterman signs.. way more then Clinton or Obama had. But not so much lately. I drive thru two smaller towns and make a circle to and from church so I can stop at a store on the way home.. About 40 miles and thru lots of neighborhoods.
So I’ve noticed the last week or two, less and less Fetterman signs,,even where there are lots of OZ and Mastriano signs at corners.. and only a few in yards. Anyone else think so? Tons of OZ and Mastriano but only 14 total for Fetterman.
