In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the JoeBama Administration and Presidency.
“This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.”
“But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.

Excellent insider commentary by Peter Navarro on the disastrous contributions from Jarred Kushner. Why Trump had this known lib serve him in any real capacity is idiocy. He loves family, but put too much into WEF Class of 2015 Ivanka, and thereby her intentional screw over hubby. Perhaps she encouraged all this, as she graduated WEF same year as Dan RINO Crenshaw and Tulsi(made you think I’ve flipped) Gabbard.
https://amgreatness.com/2022/08/15/the-clown-prince-of-pennsylvania-avenue/
“Before he was arrested, Kushner was a major campaign contributor to New Jersey Democratic campaigns, including that of Gov. Jim McGreevey. He admitted to hiring a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law and videotaping him, and then sending the videotape to his sister to intimidate her from testifying before a grand jury, said former Gov. Chris Christie, who served as US attorney at the time and prosecuted the case.”
“Earlier this year, Christie, who has long had a feud with Jared Kushner that may have prevented him from becoming a part of the Trump administration, called the crime one of the most “disgusting” he’s ever seen.” (I am not a fan of Christie, but remember Christie prosecuted Jared’s father)
Trump Pardons New Jersey Developer Charles Kushner

See Christie’s BFF Wray.
That’s a good one too.
I really hate this line of thinking. 1. It attacks a member of the Trump family circle. Do you think Trump is a weak man and just rolls over for Ivanka? 2. Trump did what he wanted (mostly) and did nothing he didn’t want to do… outside of not calling BS on the C19 garbage.
And think of the other side of this issue. Do you think WEF people are comfortable with having Trumps involved?
If Trump comes out disowning Ivanka and/or Kushner, then we will have a position to take on this. But as it is, it is an attack on the Trump family which is, as far as I can tell, united.
I agree completely. While Navarro has always been one of my favorites, this move to publicly attack Jared (and thereby PDJT) is weird. Two things stand out:
1.) Should PDJT ever regain the White House, Navarro has now assured himself that he will never be part of the administration. In fact, Navarro has just removed himself from any possibility of being part of a Trump campaign.
2.) I take issue with Navarro’s insinuation that Jared is the reason Biden won. Firstly, Biden didn’t win. Second, PDJT had more votes than any other President in history. It was a brilliant campaign, the likes of which we have never seen, and massive hard work went into it. The only reason PDJT isn’t in the White House right now, is because of Democrat fraud.
Why would Navarro wish to be part of another PDJT administration? Just so he can be once again publicly arrested and shackled by the FBLie as a direct result of his service in the PDJT administration?
As yourself why neither Jared nor Ivanka have been publicly arrested, harassed, had their phones seized and mirrored in front of family while vacationing?
Why other Trump loyalists, but never those two?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Didn’t the Kushners leave DC and return to NYC while DJT was still in office? Where are they now?
South Florida.
An excellent observation AG.
I also haven’t noticed Eric or Junior being arrested… as for Ivanka and harassment? She definitely was as it pertains to her business activities. But also Ivanka, Jared or Tiffany aren’t particularly “out there” in terms of being active.
If you’re going to ask questions like that as a form of proof, then apply the standard of reasoning to all of his children.
Not accurate. Kushner is a big reason election lawyers were not in place for Trump 2020. See this less as an attack on Trump as calling out an enemy within the gates. Navarro is a warrior.
Peria Jones,
Agree with everything but your last sentence.
“The only reason PDJT isn’t in the White House right now, is because of Democrat fraud.”
In the past, I would have simply posted that line, with “Uniparty” in place of “Democrat”, followed by “fixed it”, but that no longer seems adequate.
Words are IMPORTANT, as they frame concepts, and both shape and reflect thinking.
Does anyone here REALLY believe the massive, coordinated effort to steal the 2020 election from PDJT was a “DEMOCRAT” operation?
Anyone believe it was carried out WITHOUT significant, crucial to its success cooperation and participant with major ‘players’ within the REPUBLICAN party?
BEACAUSE words both reflect and shape concepts and thinking, isn’t it VITAL that EVERY time we discuss the Steal, we reinforce this fundamentally important reality?
Otherwise we perpetuate the lie that “Democrats” commit election fraud thru ballot shenanigans, and don’t address the far more fundamental election fraud; Uniparty.
If “Dems” run as “Reps”, than ballot fraud becomes a secondary form of defrauding the electorate.
And, these faux Reps, once in office, can support the ballot fraud. Unless we stop talking about R vs D, we will not stop thinking Rvs D, and unless we stop thinking R vs D, we will not be able to focus on the real problems undermining election integrity.
The ballot manipulations ARE important, but at the same time they are the “shiny object” that distracts from the deeper election manipulation, which facillitates its, AND is resisting attempts at reform.
Republicans weren’t the ones buying ballots, stuffing drop boxes, or removing election officials. That was Democrats.
If it weren’t for the Dems stealing the election from PDJT, he would be in office right now, in a better position to replace even more Uniparty RINOs with real MAGA fresh Republican patriots.
Yes… quite so. But being in office isn’t enough any longer. Trump’s first term was Gulliver being tied down by Lilliputians. A second term like that would be without purpose.
I’m starting to think Trump knew what was happening and decided to take advantage of it. Letting them do their crime without resistance has enabled the world to see what unopposed evil can do.
When opposed evil exists, fingers point in every direction imaginable from every point imaginable completely obfuscating the actual evil.
While those here have recognized the evil for quite some time, the rest of the world was lost and scrambled as to what’s going on. Now the good guys are out and only the bad guys exist in power. There is NO WHERE ELSE to look but at those in power to blame. Now the people are ALL looking at them.
Trump 2024…. or sooner!
It was Stone that said, “he’s his own campaign manager”.
So we can scream Orange Man Bad…but it won’t move the needle.
“Sessions was my biggest mistake, he came at me early on, wanted the job bad, I should’ve seen it.” – PT
Sessions was a huge disappointment. I was willing to go to the mat for him.
All that should matter to everyone is if it is the truth. I don’t know. One man’s opinion but someone (Navarro) who was close to the President. Let’s not become the people we complain about….those who don’t care what the truth is. Everyone loves Navarro until he says something controversial about the Trump family. We should seek the Truth even if we don’t want to hear.
No one is more MAGA than I am, but let’s don’t attack the messenger here. We can question the accuracy of Navarro’s statement and we should be concerned about anyone who graduated from the WEF.
There are more important things to concentrate on than the Kushners.
If your baby is ugly, do I really need to put that truth in a book? Should I go into detail about how it has your big nose, your father’s weak chin, and your wife’s beady eyes? Cuz the truth?
For me, some things are better left unsaid. Navarro has every right to publicly criticize, but much of it is snarky opinion. Most of weren’t Javanka fans from the get-go, but something else is going on here.
I think Navarro knows something we don’t know. I think DeSantis knows it, too. Most importantly, I think President Trump knows it, and has for a long time. And that is a yuge truth that I’m going to keep my mouth shut about. We’ll see.
😀
Agree. Doesn’t seem constructive to talk like this. Puts President Trump in a bad position. Why do that.
I’m sorry, did you even read the article? Navarro didn’t seem snarky to me. He didn’t complain about his body parts but he sure did imply that Jared participated in undermining Trump’s Make America Great policies.
As Biden likes to say…
” That’s a big fxcikl$ deal.” Not as you imply a “snarky opinion.”, or his opinion on an ugly baby which would suggest something that didn’t matter. . The truth as far as whether Trump didn’t get his “Make America Great” policies passed because of this guy is HUGE, and not some snarky opinion about his nose.
Of course I read it, how rude! In fact, I read it yesterday morning and have been thinking about it since. And I think something here is “off.” You’re entitled to your opinion, and I’m entitled to mine.
Most of this thread has been really interesting, especially the respectful differences in viewpoint.
And your reply to me was rude as well. I never said you weren’t entitled to your opinion, but your reply to me sure as heck implied that my opinion on what was the truth was absurd.
So respectful differences goes both ways….
PJ,
Respectfully and NOT “picking on you” at all, once again I am right with you, until the last paragraph.
Speaking for myself, many times I have thought I had some “revelation” or insight, seeing something no one else had, or at least hadn’t expressed.
And, I have shared those insights here, in a post.
I present them as theories, not to persuade others to agree, so much as to test their validity.
They are ideas in my head, and even with critical thinking, there is only “me, myself and I” in my head. Until I share my idea or insight iwith others, and subject it to independant critical thinking, I can’t REALLY know its validity.
Thats WHY I share it here, to get some independant testing. It helps me to refine my thinking, and reject ideas that ‘sound’ right or valid in my head, but aren’t valid.
Point is, I understand the temptation to say “I know but ain’t sayin,..” but thing is, if you ain’t gonna say, don’t.
And, what you think you “know but ain’t sayin”, if it is valid, will withstand the scrutiny of others, and if invalid, won’t.
Consider giving it the test, worst that can happen is you realise it is invalid, and we all learn something.
Dutch, I’m not the type to feel picked on, just because someone disagrees with me. Thanks for encouraging me to divulge what I think is going on, but I respectfully decline. As I stated, it is my belief that not everything needs to be said.
Or perhaps it just needs to be said by the right person, or at the right time. There’s too much tension around here right now (everywhere, actually) to put another thing out there which could lead to division or negativity. Things will work out the way they’re supposed to, whatever that may be.
Wise.
I know they brought Navarro in, he was talking outside the courthouse.
SD posted it. Take another look, or not. You’ll recall, he’s very angry.
I gained some insight from that, but I focus on language, and sometimes I listen too much and read into language too much. YMMV.
The part that should really get everyone’s attention here is Navarro’s account of the budgeting of campaign funds for advertising. The Trump campaign in 2020 was not well thought out, and certainly as badly mismanaged in this particular respect as the Clinton campaign in ’16. What I would go after in the autopsy was scheduling. Who kept sending Trump to rallies in MAGA country, instead of taking the message directly into the suburbs? And why didn’t his state organizers go after the screamingly obvious possibility of mail-in ballot fraud from the get-go? I am almost afraid to ask who he was relying on in Georgia.
Hopefully, Trump has learned the lesson that Sundance has been preaching for so long: the RNC, and all the other fronts for the country club Republicans, are as much the enemy as the Democrats.
Did you read the message?
“Kushner got Trump to waste money, that’s why he lost PA.”
I’m not going to beat up Pete or Jared for a dead cat bounce.
I read the article and I certainly didn’t beat up on anyone. I said I didn’t know the truth, but Navarro made some interesting and important claims that Jared’s actions undermined Trump’s “Make America Great” policies, and if that is true, its a big deal in my opinion.
I’m pretty sure Dr. Scott Atlas gave a share of the blame for the screwed up C19 “response to Jared.
Then there was the premature concern for the “Dreamers”, which delayed the wall, and the outrageous and ridiculous “head start” for Americans to go grab a job DURING THE PANDEMIC before the floodgates were opened to the poor widdle H1b workers.
Jared simply did not do his job on the campaign.
Or did he do his job all too well?
That’s the thing- if he were planted there to keep MAGA from being successful, what would he have done any differently?
I don’t think Jared hates his father-in-law. Maybe he thought he was helping?
Kusner certainly helped in the Middle East. Was counter- productive in the election. Draw your own conclusions.
Now, there is the proverbial $64,000 question (for those old enough to remember the program)!
I think it’s fair. Often a father has to recuse himself from judging his little girl’s mate. That doesn’t mean the guy is bad it means a father realizes that no one will ever be good enough for his expectations and steps back from judging.
It’s nice to have friends who will speak the truth.
Without doing a deep dive, review Tuckers recent review of the Whitmer kidnapping set up and Jan 6.
The political weoponisation of LE we now recognise, did not suddenly spring up, fully formed, when DJT came down the escalator ride.
Just as the Public School system didn’t go from being an honorable institutiin dedicating to educating our youth, to being a tool for Conmunist indoctrination ‘overnight’, ane the AMA, and on and on.
Given that, frankly legal cases of prosecution dating to before the escalator ride, particularly with any traces of political involvement, automatically, in my mind become suspect.
I see Chris Christie, I see Kushner sr. was involved in politics, ‘donating to Dems’ and alarms go off.
And, the notion that “they pled guilty, so they must have DONE it” ceases to have merit, as we have seen how Prosecutors use abuse the legal process to compel guilty pleas from those who are innocent.
Personally, I am not inclined to do a ‘deep dive’, into the Kushner Sr. case, not that motivated to ‘get to the bottom of it’.
I agree with you, and while I respect Navarro, I also recognise that such fights between WH staff and POTUS family (Nancy Reagan, for example) AND between those Presidential advisors who consider themselves pragmatists vs those who are ideologues is common.
Overall, there is a WH phenoominom, of staff jockeying for position, ss “having the Presidents ear” and therefore having influence.
Its intoxicating, addicting even and when its gone, withdrawal symptoms can be as excruciating as any drug.
Navarro did great things as a member of PDJT’s wolverines, and good work regarding Covid.
However, I suspect he has now gone the way of Bannon; starting pissing contests with the First family, or openly discussing the Presidents decision making process, bringing disputes with others in the Presidents inner circle, family members or not, into the public arena, is a way to insure you are out, and will not be invited back.
And, I agree such criticisms of “Javanca” are deliberately exploited and repeated by nevertrumpers, NOT becayse they support PDJT, but because they will exploit any route they can, to undermine him
IMHO, Navarro is out, and its too bad.
Yea, how long were they pushing Common Core on us. Gates was behind that, just like the Vax. I can’t say any more or I will be in trouble. He has probably kill a million people by now and is working on his dad’s dream of 500 M world population.
Old news. I love Pete, but he appeared compartmentalized.
A recent segment he hosted, where he spoke on the ventilators, gives me this impression.
Did I mention I love Pete? YMMV.
Ivanka is the chink in PDJT’s armor, but he loves her. Tragic.
Interestng article.
I don’t think anyone can reasonably fault Trump for relying on certain family members. The GOP party continually worked against Trump. He needed people he could trust. Unfortunately Jared was out of his league, and Ivanka was pathetically weak.
There was a picture that got tweeted out or posted in, maybe, December of 2020, by an account I was following at the time. Can’t remember which one.
It was a black and white photo of President Trump seated at the desk in the oval office. Standing behind him were Pompeo (? or could have been Cippilone) Kushner, and Pence. Can’t remember the exact e caption, but the meaning was clear: those three put knives in his back.
The Kushners were puppetmasters of McGreevey who was being groomed for the Democrat Presidential candidacy. After he crashed & burned (and I give him credit for cutting his puppet strings) our crypto-rulers created puppet Obama a complete fraud & fake
Wilentz was always the control mech of McGreevey
McGreevey as in who is / was Dr. Jonathan McGreevey’s brother
(aka: @johnheretohelp) ?
Is that right? Link to source? That would be an important data point if so. He was dead on about the jabs and what they do and how they were planned to be used. He is also very close to Lin Wood.
A little clarity in the fog is always good.
The Kushner’s are shady NJ Democrat controllers to put it mildly. Anyone who knows the McGreevey story knows about them.
Navarro is a very intelligent guy and was my favorite. I’m sure he knows things we do not and has been one of Trump’s most loyal supporters.
Pt was saying this throughout the campaign.
He put Pence on the Presidential Commission on Election Integrity right out of the gate.
He talked fraud in 2016 and 2012. I like Pete, but I don’t remember him talking election fraud before 2020? 2016? 2012?
I get it, Kushner’s dad got busted, Kushner is traitor, down with Kushner.
Does that mean elections aren’t fake anymore? I’m kidding. YMMV.
I’ve never been a fan of either Jared or Ivanka. But at least they’ve had the class and respect to exit quietly.
These people opening their yaps after the fact to write gossipy tell-all books to criticize PDJT’s decisions are getting tiresome. It’s disrespectful to President Trump, and makes me wonder who the disloyal ones really were. What is Navarro’s motivation here?
Navarro is extremely loyal to Trump, but is calling it as he sees it. He is naming those who gave Trump bad advice.
In my opinion, both Jared and Ivanka are glitterati Democrats both well in over their intellectual capabilities. Neither were MAGA. Both there for the notoriety and future opportunities.
Navarro should be respected for telling the truth and pointing out those who interfered with Trump’s agenda, or those who stabbed him in the back. It is great insight into the machinations of the Trump admin.
Frankly, Don Jr would have been the better choice, or even Eric, to be in the WH. Both are far more intelligent and politically savvy that Javanka.
I really have no interest in Navarro, Jared and Ivanka as to this or that. My only interest is Trump and MAGA Patriots are winning and continue to win.
At this point I feel good overall about the objective of “Draining the Swamp”. We are in an information war with exposure and sunlight being the weapon.
There is plenty of evidence we are winning. However, if all you see are the bullets being fired by the enemy, I can certainly see what it is so many see it as they do.
“Others… may condemn what they would not if seen in all its parts.”
–Thomas Jefferson: 1st Inaugural Address, 1801
( my 2 Cents )… IT Takes a VERY OBJECTIVE PARENT, Maybe EVEN an EMOTIONALLY DISCONNECTED Parent to NOT HAVE ” A FAVORITE Child “.
Dr. Pete HAS THAT SEPARATION from the Trump Family. From What i KNOW of Navarro –
HE IS OBJECTIVE.
His motivation probably is to keep Jared out of any policy making or advisory positions ever again.
And we have a winner!
Watch the video from the courthouse.
He’s not talking about Jared, he’s talking about himself.
Mary Trump, who likes to discredit Donald, has speculated that Jared gave the feds info which led to the raid. I don’t think Trump did anything wrong, but it is possible Jared was trying to save himself, if he did something wrong.
Open the affidavit and we will know.
Peter Navarro is selling a book in order to have money to fund his defense against the charges for which he was recently arrested.
Motivation enough for some; plus, Mr. Navarro is rightly angry, angry for being targeted and then arrested, and in one’s anger will often lash out at the easiest one for whom they can fix blame.
President Trump’s son-in-law, with all his faults, was one whom the President could trust to carry out the negotiations that brought about the Abraham Accords, assisted with the USMCA, among many things we the public may never know about.
Peter Navarro is burning bridges in his anger. Hope he finds a healthier outlet, as well as fantastic book sales huge enough to cover his legal fees.
Bessie, you’re smart and fair. Hope you see this, and I hope all our warriors can survive the onslaught with dignity. <3
If Jared was out of his league, and Ivanka weak, then we must fault Trump for allowing them so much influence in his administration. The buck stops with the President.
Yah he’s not perfect. Neither am I. Neither are you.
I won’t criticize him now. But I will criticize him if he does it again.
No way. I don’t read into this any further than normal family having normal differing of opinions. So what if both Ivanka and Jarred are liberals? The whole idea of deception is to wrap a lot of truth in a little lie …
Imo, and yes I’m not American, but I think Kennedy, given a real crack at it, would have done a lot of good for America. Not perfect, but good. Looks to me like he too ran afoul of the cabal …
Balance is good, and needed. The thing no one wants is everyone on the same page other than God, country and their fellow man. Differing opinions, ideas and even disputes should be encouraged. If respect is there, then anything can be discussed. But when one side hates another …
Let those who did this be judged. According to law. I have no fight with liberals, gays, blacks, jews or anyone regardless of their religious or political beliefs. I will only fight you if you hate me …
It’s one thing when working together to make money for the business but Democrat leftist when it comes to politics only care about their agenda and squashing America.
We all have that one married into the family person who will do whatever it takes to get their side of the family ahead or push their agenda. Mine was an aunt in law. When it came down to it she hated my uncles siblings and their kids with a passion and thought everything and I mean EVERYTHING belonged to her husband and kids when our grandparents died and while they were alive they were there to cushion her family’s lifestyle.
The lawyers could not tell her otherwise. She was like that on her side of the family too. It all belonged to her. She’s still incredibly bitter after 25 years.
The national security establishment said he was a threat to national security because he wanted to talk to Russians Russians Russians.
Exactly This is why the America First movement needs a new leader to take it to the next step. Trump can play the role of Kingmaker, but we need someone who can execute on the plan better. Personnel is policy.
And who do you think this would be? It can’t be someone who has been in politics their whole life or has connections to D.C. corruption. I can’t see a replacement right now, not a viable one anyway. Trump is the ultimate outsider, a businessman his whole life who hasn’t been corrupted by the cesspool in D.C. I don’t see a viable MAGA replacement on the horizon.
The problem with this, are fake elections.
The only way to expose them is a landslide.
if Kushner is writing a book, perhaps Navarro is afraid what will be said about
him and is trying to get ahead of that story.
This really doesn’t make much sense otherwise.
Why should he bother? He’s busy with that new entity raising billions for capital investment or whatever it is he’s doing.
He’s moved on, but I saw no reason for Ivanka to say she didn’t think 2020 was stolen earlier this summer.
Why the hell did she do that?
Everyone else has stabbed him in the back. Guess she thought it was okay for herself to do the same. She lost my respect right there.
She lost my respect too. She should have NEVER said anything that was in disagreement with her father.
I don’t know if it’s Jared exerting too much influence on her, or her new religion, or what. But it’s bad. She didn’t inherit the MAGA gene. Don Jr did. And I think Eric did too to some extent but Don Jr totally has it.
It’s not her religion, she just ‘checked out long ago” per 45 in response to her comment. Don Jr has the gene. Eric is the youngest and more reserved. I don’t think either of them would have been the best choice to go to DC. By default she went, but Jared most likely wanted to go very much. At Ivana’s funeral, as they both were at the bottom of the church steps, waiting for the procession to get ready, the body language between Ivanka & 45 seemed strained. Just my impression, but I was closely watching. He even glanced over at her, but she was cold as a statute. Maybe not a good day to discern anything.
She NEVER should have said anything. Can’t help but wonde what she said behind closed door interviews.
Now there’s something new. I can come up with a dozen more, but that would just get everyone angrier then they already are. /s
“In my mind, theories are more easily demolished than rebuilt.”
–Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, 1788
Navarro is a sharp guy, probably the sharpest of any of the Trump advisors. Though not a public health official, he saw early on what the data said about covid and how the president was being lied to. Jared is a dunce who was in way over his head.
Kellyanne Conway was also critical of Jared for how he handled Trump’s campaign (and I think other reasons). I believe Conway and Navarro.
Some have been saying that since the beginning of his presidency but the treehouse is divided on that issue.
I really like Peter Navarro and thought he was more than loyal to President Trump. His direct attack on Kushner in a way baffles me, for I would think he would have a private conversation with Trump over this, not a public flogging. I think there is more to this story than is presented.
Trump knows just how effective Navarro was for his presidency. If Trump wants him in a 2nd run, he will ask Peter and I will bet Peter will lay out his terms. If Trumps accepts, that’s that.
The real question I wish to ponder: Is Navarro correct and accurate in his comments on Kushner?
Maybe kushner needs a public flogging.
It’s either Navarro or Kushner. Hopefully its ]Navarro. Navarro is a Buchananite.
And yet how many of us here in the treehouse were roundly criticized for daring to mention the obvious issues of “Javanka”and their oversized influence on President Trump?
Sundance alluded many times to” insiders” who were negatively affecting the agenda that Donald Trump was attempting to implement and the names that he mentioned frequently included Mike pence, and Jared / Ivanka Kushner…
Anyone who read Scott Atlas’ excellent book, “A Plague Upon Our House” about the Covid task force saw that Jared was Debbie Birx’s biggest cheerleader. And his insistence that Donald Trump stay the course with Fauci and Birx not only cost him millions of votes but probably also cost thousands of people their lives and tens of thousands their livelihoods!
I pray that Peter Navarro is correct and that neither Jared nor Ivanka will be allowed Within 1,000 yards of The West Wing in 2024! The country simply cannot afford anymore of their kind of help!
.
Yep.
Someone should ask Dick Cheney how 100% support of his daughter went . . .
I was one of those too. Just for the nepotism alone it was a bad decision to make Javankas a part of the team. In fact I still ponder about some of the personnel decisions made by DT, most of them fawned and swooned over on this site at the time. I am with Navarro on this.
good comment
Longtime Treepers will recall that I defended Jared Kushner and Ivanka more than once in CTH comment sections. I chose to defend President Trump’s decision to include his daughter and son-in-law in his inner circle. My reasoning was simple: PDJT knew these two adults, their biases, their intellect, and their reliability. He also was quickly learning via hard experience that the pool around DC of equally trustworthy & capable talent from which to recruit aides and advisors was extremely limited. I still do not fault him for drafting Jared & Ivanka into helping him.
That said, I also very much respect Peter Navarro because of his performance in office, often “under fire”, and his loyalty to POTUS Trump. If he has criticism for the daughter and son-in-law then so be it. I am glad he has put his observations on the record. It is now up to President Trump to decide how to go forward.
There has been a lot of speculation that there was a “mole” in President Trump’s inside circle at Mar-A-Lago who was feeding information to the FIBbies and they executed the raid based on what that person told them…is it possible that Peter Navarro suspects that person could be Jared and he is trying to warn the President indirectly through this article to be VERY careful what he says around his daughter and SIL?
If the judge does unseal the affidavit (which I very much doubt will happen) might the name of the “insider” become public knowledge?
It will not be unsealed because I don’t believe the DOJ has not yet determined who it will be……………
Vikingmom, I just do not believe either Jared or Ivanka would do that. I will hold that opinion until it is proven otherwise. Their advocating for more liberal aspects to PDJT’s policies is one thing, but directly betraying the President to his obvious political enemy, the result of which could be indictment, conviction, and even imprisonment (all for trumped up/ false charges) is quite different and extreme.
GB, you are probably correct. I am certain Ivanka would not turn on her father.

How about a message of hope, perseverance, and resolve. FTA:
“But as this scene in Darkest Hour implicitly tells us, we have other wellsprings of hope than our weak, incompetent, and flailing leadership. We are in fact blessed because we have so many causes worth fighting for: our civilization, our country, our liberties, our children. Rather than curse the age in which we live, we should thank God that we have the privilege to defend so many beautiful gems. And like that little girl in the movie, when asked if we will ever give up the battle, our reply must always be ‘No, never.’”

Not the freedoms we have lost rather the concept of Freedom.
Not our trust in experts but our trust in ourselves.
Not the false hope of doing nothing and hoping it doesn’t end up too badly but True Hope that only comes from doing the right thing.
From my perspective we are a large step closer to people realizing True Will which is when you do what you want in your true heart (the right thing) and aren’t shackled by things like fear, greed, sloth etc.

Beautiful! Thank you, trapper.

This is the kind of stuff you should have been doing if you were brave and not a toady.
SNL used to be equal opportunity offenders. No longer. Any comedian who is not a EOO is not a true comedian
BrietbartDOTcom noted: Chris Wallace said Tuesday on “Don Lemon Tonight” that Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) “declared war on Donald Trump” during her concession speech. Wallace said, “What struck me was the reference to Lincoln, and the reference to Grant, and the comparison to the Civil War. And I think she was very explicitly saying that just as our union was in jeopardy, life or death jeopardy, back in the 1860s, that the union is in jeopardy today.
Stolen elections do tend to get people riled up, don’t they, Chris?
😂 😂 😂 Chris Wallace on….Don Lemon’s show??? 😂😂😂. Talk about someone’s career in free fall….
No kidding , same spiel , but on tiny soapbox -on Don Lemon show? … what will his friends say …
wallace has ‘friends’ not that he is de-platformed?
Cheney lost by 37 points. What incumbent loses by that much? She is fraud and will not be heard from again!
Bye Felicia!
Yes Chris your swamp is threatened by free Americans, we understand. Now go jump off a cliff.
It reminds me of one of the Fox 2016 GOP debates when Megan Kelly excitedly bleated, before the debate, that someone might be knocked out of the race. Of course we all assumed she meant Trump, because she was sparring with him. These fake “journalists” think they have control over all of us. Kelly and Wallace probably both believed the propaganda that Trump supporters were dumb. Kelly has probably realized her mistake, but I don’t think Wallace has.
Of course she meant President (Candidate ) Trump – She thought she had the knockout question to end his candidacy after the first debate , his Rosie O’Donnell comeback boomeranged and was a knockout punch to HER career…
I can’t find a larger version of this image but Sundance had posted this image. The caption says:
“the question is whether this is – actually not to be too grandiose about it – because Fox News is hosting it, and I’m a co-moderator but this is actually because they have the potential to change the course of history? I mean, one of these guys could be out by 11:00 tomorrow night” – Megyn Kelly 8/5/15 (night before debate)
….and seven years later, no one can find Meghan Kelly.
Yep, Trump was and still is a thorn in their side.
He came out of nowhere and blasted their world off kilter.
Would be fun to know exactly ow much money they have spent since then trying to take him and us out of the Game.
I’ll take the stones. She has changed. People do that, you know. Should listen to some of her programs “Megan Kelly Show” on youtube. She defends Trump, is anti-vax, etc. I was jaw-droppingly stunned to listen to her. Don’t know if she had a come-to-Jesus moment or what. I doubt she’s a “perfect” conservative (probably not on board with the election fraud) because who is – but it is most satisfying and I recommend people watch her for the encouragement – even ‘hopeium’ – that people really do change.
Some do…Narcissistic Personality Disordered women don’t.
The MSM has large number of them.
Cheers!
remember that some people’s ethics sway to whichever
way the wind blows
An easy pass.
It was fun watching her hair styles morph from long flowing feminism to one we would expect to see on a dominatrix that was a big sign something is very wrong with this lady;
not unlike a person willing to smother their face with cheetoh’s. Somethings just not all-there with these two.
Is the comeback, and change, for both of these legit or simply a means to an end of gaining ratings (therefore $$$)?
Time will tell. Hope they are better. Just not going to invite them into the living room viewings. Crazy can be contagious to the viewers when it is a subtle growth.
No
actually, Kelly hosts a rather decent podcast and is a good interviewer. She has become a Trump supporter, though she does like to occasionally criticize him or have guests on who will. Compared to rest of the media, she’s not too shabby
She was certainly on an unmistakable “power” high that night before debate – like an aphrodisiac ( as that sex symbol Kissinger once said )
This comes from talking with each other aka the echo chamber.
Megan Kelly exposed herself when she did the interview with the bigshot Democrat owner of “Comet Pizza” and said there was not a basement when Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives had previously gone to Comet Pizza (with the Babylonian Signage) and down to the basement. It was a Gaslight attempt
wallace and cheney both were placed by their ‘daddies’.
true ‘privilege’ they don’t condemn
SELL Another COOKBOOK of Your Wife’s Recipes to YOUR ” Beltway ” Buddies CHRISSIE…
Now that Cheney threatened “war” does that mean she’s on the FBI’s terrorist watch list?
No, to the FIB she’s the “good” kind of warmonger.
Her father taught her well.
Will have to go find that speech now. I’m sure it has significance.
Celebrate the victory, but know it’s a small (but important ) battle, not the war.
Do not doubt there will be a nasty response to the cornered animal having taken this swipe across its face.
The Cheneys aren’t going to just slink away.
I guess Liz missed the part where she declared war by betraying PDJT with her pitiful sham J6 attendance, and then lost. Bigly!
Does anyone have a picture of Nanzi when Lizzie’s loss was announced last night? What did she tear up?
Isn’t there a tweet she did saying “Bring it!” ? I guess Wyoming did just that.
Liz Cheney is like so many of our other entitled elected officials.
Alcoholic, drug addicted and spoiled to the max.
Her “concession speech” sounded like a drunken rant by an old soak who was really ticked off that she did not get what she wanted for the first time in her life.
She will now probably do the loser run of liberal talk shows like The View and other Yak Rags where fat old farts cry in their beer about the good old days.
wallace (if anyone ever watches him again) is preparing for a cheney-kinzinger presidential run !!!!. or, a kinzinger-cheney run after their ego-fight. On the new bumper sticker : “we are Lincoln and Grant – vote for us using dominion”
wallace would volunteer to ‘moderate’ the debates !

Reassuring quotes from DeSantis
8/17/22 – https://www.oann.com/fla-gov-desantis-the-fbi-has-gone-off-the-rails/
“We’re fighting back against Joe Biden’s failed leadership,” stated DeSantis. “We’re gonna be fighting against lockdown politicians all over this country who ruin people’s lives. We’re gonna be fighting against a failed Congress which will retirement of Nancy Pelosi.”
“Maybe somebody can remind me about when they did a search warrant at Hillary’s (Clinton) house in Chappaqua when she had a rogue server and she was laundering classified information,” he said. “I don’t remember them doing that. I do remember them manufacturing a false conspiracy theory about Russia collusion.”
“I remember the FBI at Merrick Garlands direction being sicced on parents going to school board meetings,” DeSantis stated. “Is the FBI out there protecting our conservative justices? No. When you have violations of law where people are targeting pregnancy crisis centers are they doing their job and enforcing the law there? No!”

Mar-a-Lago search — And the governor did make some extended comments about the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago – which had drawn the ire of several previous speakers at the campaign rally. DeSantis criticized the search by suggesting the FBI was taking action against people who were “opposed to the regime,” questioning for example why the FBI did not execute a search warrant against Hillary Clinton in 2016 “when she had a rogue server. I don’t remember them doing that.” He also brought up the Russia investigation but during his remarks about the search warrant he did not say Trump’s name at all.

6/16/22 – https://www.wfla.com/news/politics/desantis-wont-say-if-he-thinks-2020-election-was-stolen/
MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) —Gov. Ron DeSantis still wouldn’t say if he believes President Joe Biden was “duly and legally elected” in 2020.
“I’ve been asked that a hundred different times,” DeSantis told reporters during a press conference at the American Legion Post 273 in Madeira Beach Wednesday. “What I would say is this. Why won’t they do hearings about more energy? Why aren’t they doing hearings about inflation? Why are they constantly beating this dead horse? Yes, we understand that, that was a year and a half ago. Let’s focus on things that are concerning American people today, and helping us get through this period here today.”
Although DeSantis has been asked the question before, 8 On Your Side found no record of him actually answering it, in print or on-air.

4/26/22 – Florida Gov. DeSantis signs bill creating election fraud police, and restricting vote-by-mail access
A measure to create a first-of-its-kind office in Florida to investigate voting irregularities, along with making other changes in the state’s elections system, was signed into law Monday by Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The measure (SB 524) expands on a 2021 state law that passed as Republicans across the country argued steps needed to be taken to combat fraud after former President Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. Chief U.S. District Judge Mark Walker last month ruled that parts of the 2021 law were unconstitutional, though the state has appealed.
Florida officials have highlighted that the state had relatively few problems in the 2020 elections. But DeSantis said Monday the additional changes should give Floridians “more confidence” about the voting process.
“At the end of the day, we want to be in a situation where everyone knows the rules,” DeSantis said while at a bill-signing ceremony at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill in Spring Hill.
Perhaps the highest-profile part of the new law will create an Office of Election Crimes and Security in the Department of State.
“I think this office will be very, very much appreciated,” DeSantis said. “And it will allow us to have people who really specialize in election security and election integrity.”
But critics argued changes in the bill are intended to suppress voting by minorities and Democrats and potentially lay the groundwork for Republican challenges to future election results.
“Instead of working to increase access to the polls, Gov. DeSantis continues to prioritize disinformation and feed into lies that the 2020 elections were not accurate, which is super-ironic and disingenuous because in November 2020 the governor was bragging about how well our elections went,” Rep. Anna Eskamani, D-Orlando, said in a prepared statement.
Rep. Susan Valdes, D-Tampa, pointed to concerns about a “chilling effect” from such things as the new office conducting elections investigations.
“No Floridian should fear reprisal from an unaccountable agency with a nebulous mission simply because they wanted to register their fellow citizens to vote or help a neighbor turn in their mail ballot,” Valdes said in a statement. “We should be doing everything in our power to make it easier for our fellow Floridians to vote, yet this bill is another example in a years-long campaign to undermine that right.”
The 2021 law included revisions that would make it harder to vote by mail. Also, it targeted “ballot harvesting,” which can include collecting and delivering vote-by-mail ballots for multiple people.
The new law, in addition to creating the office in the Department of State, calls for the appointment of Florida Department of Law Enforcement officers to investigate allegations of election violations, with at least one officer in each region of the state.
The bill also will ratchet up financial and criminal penalties for violating elections laws, including for ballot harvesting. The penalty for ballot harvesting will increase from a first-degree misdemeanor to a third-degree felony.
Another part of the bill will require county supervisors of elections to annually scour voter rolls for potentially ineligible voters in a process known as “list maintenance.” Prior to the new law, supervisors were required to do list maintenance every other year.
“Some supervisors have done a really good job at cleaning the voting rolls, but not all of them have done it,” DeSantis said. “This bill now requires them to clean their voting rolls every year.”
Also, the bill will require the secretary of state to submit by Jan. 1 a plan to “prescribe the use of a Florida driver license number, Florida identification card number, Social Security number, or any part thereof to confirm the identity of each elector returning a vote-by-mail ballot.”
That part of the bill was scaled back after an early version would have required people to use an additional envelope for mail-in ballots and include the last four digits of their driver’s license numbers, Social Security numbers or state identification numbers —- a proposal that critics said would be confusing to voters.
The law was approved in votes of 76-41 in the House and 24-14 in the Senate, along almost straight party lines.

Did he defend Trump?
Did he mention Trump by name?
He is a coward.
Reassuring … of what?
Waste of bandwidth.
“Reassuring quotes from DeSantis ”
Reassuring to the GOPe that he is trying to re-establish his MAGA cover story?
With his and kirk’s current status as President Trump XXers, their future value to the GOPe’s splinter strategy is zero, nil, null.
They both had a sting going against President Trump and MAGA but to paraphrase Paul Newman from the movie, The Sting, “in a sting, you can never let the mark know.”
Kirk and desantis did just that.
I would take one Trump over 3 DeSantis s, if you look at DeSantis head on he looks good but if you look at DeSantis through the lens of the big club you can see the puppet strings.
Somebody’s been reading angry MAGA comments, and is now in CYA mode
thank you
I drove across I80 there one time in the middle of winter. Hundreds of miles of absolute nothing except for a Little America about halfway across. I still think that truck stop must be the greatest place in the world. The Last Homely House indeed.
I’m sure there is lots more to see in Wyoming (and I’d love to go see it) but that’s my memory of it.
I feel like a road trip. I have to find some pet friendly hotels though, or rent an RV.
If you do, take 90 from spearfish, sd., (spearfish canyon is majestic)
Then on to Sheridan and into the Big Horns. Big Horns are pristine. Take a pack horse and you
can hike in to areas untouched. I loved WY. when I lived there, but not the winters. (native Texan🥶)
Now, is a perfect time to visit.
Yes!
Dang, I really miss it.
Spent a lot of weekends in Spearfish.
Beautiful pics as always friend. Slainte
Wow that is so beautiful! I’ll bet the air smells so good too. I’m going to start planning. I used to travel frequently but I have not been away from home for a very long time.
fka
Go for it live your best life
Be well
Nice reference to Rivendell mate.
I also caught that. Smiled.
Memories. I also did that once going east to west. Turned right at Salt Lake City as my destination was Oregon. I didn’t stop in Wyoming but I hit a snow storm anyway getting across the Cascades.
That’s how I felt when I was 14 and made a train trip from CA to NY.
Texas….more Texas….more sagebrush, and more, and more, and more.
It lasted forever, nothing pretty to look at either.
My father, a Bronx boy, simply said, “Texas is very big.”
That reminds me of a road trip I took from north central Texas to California. Half the trip was getting to El Paso (or so it seemed)!
My husband and I have been many times on our way from Utah to wherever. I love Cheyenne and love to roam the antique shops there. It is bad in the winter and you can get stuck when they close the highway in snowstorms..
Was hit by a white-out snow storm once when driving thru Wyoming in late April. Scariest thing ever!!
I love to check out interstate cameras during the winter and wow I have seen some scary stretches of I-80 in Nebraska and Wyoming. There’s so much open land there and few towns or rest stops compared to other states.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Just plotted out a trip for next Sept to Spearfish Lodge then on to Jackson WY.
My husband has been talking about visiting the Black Hills area for well on 25 years, and we love WY!
Can’t make it this year, but will be optimistic that we can do it in 2023. Will begin planning in earnest as soon as hubby gives the thumbs up.
Bewildered
Have a grand time
Be well
Excellent point!
It’s a swamp miracle. /s

If she can’t win Wyoming, where does she think she can win?
Can someone help me understand what Baris wrote? I get the part about her sending out absentee ballot request forms, and 10K Dems voted for her via that route I guess. What does he mean by “already voted for her to make it appear she over-performed”? Did he post that last night at the very beginning of the primary results being published?
There were 200,579 registered Republicans as of July 1 compared to 43,285 Democrats, for a split of about 71% to 15%.
Unaffiliated (34,925), Libertarian and Constitution Party (3,418) voters together make up the remaining amount.
https://cowboystatedaily.com/2022/07/06/gap-between-gop-dem-voters-in-wyoming-reaches-new-high/
By trying to get dems and others to vote for her in the primary, it’s supposed to show “large support” for her.
ETA: Large support to run for president/other office. She’s jockeying for a new place at the trough.
Possibly he means if the Ds hadn’t vote for her, she would have had a much lower % of the election vote. I think he said maybe 10% less on video today (I was half listening.) I believe the Ds had to register R to vote for her and many did. So maybe her ‘real’ R vote was pushing 20%.
WE need to keep the pressure on her to explain her growth in wealth.
The $85 Billion military equipment was pocket change … what about the $4 Trillion in Infrastructure??

I think that will take a different form to fill out…………be well
Get yur butt off here and chainsaw that flag, just kiddin.
How’s it coming? Have you found that perfect piece for the carving?

Lol no still searching for what I have in mind
Have a grand day be well
Have you noticed that history has already changed in Joe’s favor?

Well, last night it looks like we got ’em both!
Where she lands next will be instructive and enlightening to many.
Not sure where that will be, but I can be assured it will be swampy.
What’s even more impressive is the Trump canidates were outspent 10 to 1. We are in the middle od the greatest movement in US history, Make America Great Again!!!
Before gloating too loudly about her demise, her pay day is not over.
Lizzie Borden Cheney is going to rake in Millions more of un-taxed cash over the next 2 years as she will declare for the Republican Presidential Primaries, NOT TO WIN, but to be paid millions via multiple election PACS for her 1/6 Commission efforts.
Predicted Cheney-for-president success level: “Inslee”.
Yes. She can siphon off as much Democrat and NeverTrump money as she wants between now and the next presidential election. Better they waste it on her, someone no one will listen to anymore.

On War Room, Bannon had Charlie Kirk on to publicize the fund raising they are trying to do for Mastriano in PA and JD Vamce in Ohio.
He pointed out the RNC looks as if they are purposely trying to lose the Senate as they have pulled funding for these MAGA candidates (Mastriano is running for gov, not Senate, in PA), including Blake Masters in AZ.
Thus, he has DeSantis going in to raise money.
Rich Baris, pollster supreme, has pointed out they would have you believe these candidates are losing, when they are NOT.
Let the GOP KNOW YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
What happened to Cheney needs to happen to MITCH.
“Rich Baris, pollster supreme, has pointed out they would have you believe these candidates are losing, when they are NOT.”
Very true.
Kirk is trying to enhance his credentials (GOPe, not MAGA).
President Trump got these candidates elected in the primaries, he will do the same in the general.
They are MAGA, America First, candidates, not kirk/desantis GOPe candidates.
From the Philadelphia Inquirer:
why are Mastriano and DeSantis — and their sponsor, the youth-oriented right-wing group Turning Point Action, led by extremist Charlie Kirk — avoiding Pennsylvania’s wide swaths of “Trump Country” to stage an event in Pittsburgh, an increasingly left-leaning city that just nominated a democratic socialist, state Rep. Summer Lee, for Congress?
Even more intriguing, why is the rally — slated for Friday at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Hotel at 4:30 p.m. — occurring smack in the middle of Netroots Nation, a national gathering of several thousand progressive activists also taking place in the Steel City? Is the tag team of Mastriano and DeSantis hoping their appearance will trigger a brawl with the leftists in town — many of whom are political-protest veterans?

Internal Pfizer documents just released under court order find that 44% of pregnant women who participated in Pfizer’s mRNA Covid “vaccine” trial suffered miscarriages. This is Pfizers own documents. . I guess this is the lefts way of reversing Roe v. Wade. Seems they will do anything in their power to kill babies. . Yet The Biden administration and Fauci still recommend not only pregnant women to take the shot, but for mothers to give it to their toddlers as well.
https://amgreatness.com/2022/08/16/report-44-percent-of-pregnant-women-in-pfizer-trial-lost-their-babies-fda-and-cdc-recommended-jabs-for-expectant-mothers-anyway/
Can you find the particular Pfizer document that shows the data?
I’m looking at the document the American Greatness article pointed me to. It’s very lengthy, more than 3000 pages. There are some spontaneous abortions (miscarriages) listed in the document but it’s difficult to count how many people were involved in the trial and how many of them were pregnant women. Do you have those numbers?
You may find the answer to your question at dailyclout.io
Forty-Four Percent of the Pregnancies in a Pfizer Study Ended in Miscarriages. Pfizer Misleadingly Reclassified Them – DailyClout
please note, the link provided by rvsueandcrew to the daily clout report specifies deep within ‘women who became pregnant after first dose.’
this is different than ‘pregnant women who participated.’
The misunderstanding is in the title and other wording from daily clout. AG just repeated the headline.
This is actually worse than someone who was pregnant taking the vax and suffering a miscarriage. That is bad but can be avoided by not taking the vax while pregnant.
This is vaccinated, or partially vaccinated, women getting pregnant. 22 miscarriages out of 50 pregnancies.
Since they hid this in the data, they won’t be telling us if it ever goes away. Are all vaccinated women to be cursed with such high miscarriage numbers, or can stopping getting boosted help keep your babies alive?
These monsters should rot on the gallows
There’s an abundance of anti-Trump spin & outright bull crap in this piece, but somebody obviously leaked the actual underlying motive of the Thugocracy’s Gestapo inspired search to the folks at Newsweek.

That’s a BINGO!
I never knew we only have a Bill of Rights because a small but vocal group dubbed “Anti-Federalists” saw the Constitution as central government based and advocated for not ratifying the Constitution unless more protections were added.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-Federalism
The most well known of these Anti-Federalists was Patrick Henry.
Someone on here said that the Constitution is really a warning against tyranny. The Bill of Rights is truly that – a checklist if you will.
The Bill of Rights was in fact an afterthought.
There is an Anti-Federalist critique of the proposed judiciary that is frighteningly prescient. To put it mildly, Madison and Henry were not on the same side!
You might also find it interesting to dive into the weeds and look at how New Hampshire came to vote in favor of this union.

Informant in Whitmer Case Reveals Bombshell About FBI Actions During Michigan Capitol Protest
Aug 15, 2022
https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2022/08/15/informant-in-whitmer-case-reveals-bombshell-about-fbi-actions-during-michigan-capitol-protest-n612760
On Monday, a jury heard from an FBI informant in the alleged case. Two of the people accused in the case of being involved in a kidnapping plot against Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer are being retried after a prior jury was unable to reach a verdict. The FBI informant, Dan Chappel, testified about his involvement with the Wolverine Watchmen, who was at a protest at the Michigan Capitol on April 30, 2020, against the COVID lockdowns.
According to Ken Bensinger who reports for Buzzfeed, Chappel was wearing a wire for the FBI at the event. So there was at least one FBI informant at that COVID lockdown protest. Chappel said that he was concerned about the event outside the building getting violent so he told his FBI handlers. According to Bensinger, the FBI specifically requested that the Michigan State Police let people into the building to “de-escalate” the situation.
So I have questions. How many of those events did they have FBI informants? And if you truly thought there was a possibility of violence, why would you be letting people into the building? How does that “de-escalate” the situation? That doesn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe it makes sense if you don’t want to de-escalate. Fortunately, there wasn’t any violence.
That I discovered in this video, but had to do keyword searches to find the covered article which is one of my pet peeves when a video doesn’t provide links in the video notes to the intellectual property they’re using in a video.
This is a good read for those who want to see what the other side is actually promoting and doing regarding legal censorship. Obama’s recent speech at Harvard. Shake head. So perfectly ‘reasonable’ – so terrifying. “Know thy enemy.”

Mygod he’s hideous. The entire thing is a call for grassroots and tech censorship.
“A lot of times can make it impossible to tell the difference between, say, a peer-reviewed article by Dr. Anthony Fauci and a miracle cure being pitched by a huckster.”
“I’m not going to strain this metaphor, but if you think about the U.S. Constitution as software for running a society, really innovative design. It, too, had some pretty big initial bugs.”

The Fake News Media is claiming that Liz Cheney has such a “wonderful and bright” political future.
Maybe they didn’t notice that she lost by nearly 40 points? She’s too angry and sick to succeed in the future, but who knows!
My theory is that they had those talking points ready because they thought she would do better than she did (probably overestimated the impact dems crossing over to vote). But even though she got pulverised, they already had the talking points and instead of being smart, they are running with them anyways, despite how ridiculous they sound. Just my theory.

ANOTHER PUTIN ENEMY KILLED
“Anti-Putin Investment Banker Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in D.C.”
By Allison Quinn

How many of Putin’s enemies does he have to eliminate before Putin’s defenders will admit he is terrorizing his opposition into submission.
Key quotes:
“Dan Rapoport, a Latvia-born American businessman who expressed support for Russia’s opposition while based in Moscow as the managing director of a brokerage firm there, was found dead on Sunday evening in front of a luxury apartment building, according to an incident report provided to The Daily Beast by the D.C. Metro Police Department.”
“The incident report noted that police officers at the scene were responding “in reference to a jumper.” He was found with orange flip-flops, a black hat, Florida driver’s license, and $2,620 in cash. A spokesperson for MPD told The Daily Beast that a death investigation was still underway, and Rapoport’s cause of death has not yet been determined.”
“She [Rappoport’s wife] disputed claims made by journalist Yunia Pugacheva that Rapoport had left behind a suicide note with cash and released his dog into a nearby park after splitting with Alyona earlier and being spotted in London.”
“There was no note, no suicide, no trip to London, no departure,” Rapoport told RBC.”

Someone threw him out of a window of a D.C. high-rise.
How does this in any way shape or form imply anything to do with Russia-Ukraine?

Sundance – Your DeSantis obsession is a little concerning. I’ve trusted you instincts for a long time but this is a big ask. Surely you have more evidence than his 5-day silence? Did you see him huddled up with Carl Rove? Did Charles Koch move to Tallahassee? If so, please share. Until then, you are hurting your brand and may be doing unnecessary damage to a great MAGA warrior.
Did you read Sundance’s articles (I think there were three) and read all of the comments? He and many others have already shared. It’s not just the weak response to the raid causing people to think badly of DeSantis.
It will suppress MAGA turn-out in November. DeSantis hardly won last time. With a Soros-funded pothead radical Whammyn opponent this time?
We need to support the man’s reelection, no matter what his PDJT bonafides.
If you live in Florida, think hard about your comments and your vote.
If you don’t live in Florida, please don’t comment.
Florida needs DeSantis. Florida does not need Nikki Friedchicken.
I agree AG, whatever the games being played, he has been the best Governor by far.
” he has been the best Governor by far.”
JMO, that should get him a pass into the Governor’s mansion.
All Florida residents should turn out and vote for him.
But as for a launching pad into national MAGA offices, he needs to forget about it.
XX President Trump disqualifies him for that especially if he doesn’t divorce himself from the GOPe gang network.
Could not agree more Cactus, provided that we are fortunate enough that he runs.
Slainte
Doesn’t SD live in FL. I live in FL half of the year, so I guess I can comment?
My comment: DeSantis needs to detach from the GOPe and campaign in FL – not AZ, PA & OH. If you’re so concerned about his re-election, maybe you should be concerned about his galavanting across the country, particularly a GOPe fundraiser in Nantucket, per Ed Henry.
What DeSantis does affects the whole country! So I think we can all comment! He needs to stay in FL oar he might lose the state all by himself!
I think Florida voters need to understand who they are voting for. I personally am not discouraging them from voting for DeSantis for Florida Governor and I hope nobody else is. I’ve actually said in at least two comments I lived there I would vote for him. But I won’t vote for him in a GOP presidential primary unless he shifts back to openly embracing Trump.
Actually a long time ago – maybe 8 or 9 months Sundance posted a caution about DeSantis – long before the Trump raid. The point is that the RNC Club is reeling him in now.
I’ve seen a lot of this online, too, it’s like an obsession with many.
A large majority of these people online, not Sundance, who are trying to drive a wedge between Trump and him, are concern trolls. They’re job is to cloud and muddy-up the movement with fake Hannity videos that are clearly spliced, a “I voted for Trump but he lost me so I’m now on RD’s camp.” Twitter trolls, or with RD didn’t mention the Trump Raid so he secretly was behind the operation nonsense.
One of Trump’s biggest supporters, Larry Schwiekart, a man with two P.h.D’s actually believed that the video was real, too.
This is all done on purpose to divide the base and create in-fighting within the movement.
Its easier to believe the worse about someone so many are drawn to these type of hot-take, quick-impulse moments.
Remember, FDR once took a photo with Stain where he was laughing it up. What you think you see isn’t always what’s the truth,
my advice is to cease blaming the GOP rino club, the posters, Sundance, etc.
we always try and make it more complicated than need be
The behavior of DeSantis was/is entirely in his own hands
Oh, how touching. Such care and concern. /s
Coupled with impossible demands, false characterizations and veiled threats and accusations. All couched in concern.
You might have skipped ‘obsession’ and those other parts above, if you wanted to influence us.
Meanwhile the press seems to agree with Sundance. Well, it is hard to miss with all the politicos pushing. But it is odd to see such agreement.
don’t think so

What a joke.
Cheney of Fools
“Patriotism having become one of our topicks, Johnson suddenly uttered, in a strong determined tone, an apophthegm, at which many will start: ‘Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel.’ But let it be considered, that he did not mean a real and generous love of our country, but that pretended patriotism which so many, in all ages and countries, have made a cloak for self-interest.”–Boswell’s Life of Johnson.
Democrats stole their own nomination from Bernie twice, but they wouldn’t dream of stealing an election from Donald Trump?
The D.C. PermaBlob reacted to our Actual President like a burning stick poked into Cyclops’ eye. They think he’s the meanest, most vicious madman dictator ever–so therefore, they gave themselves permission to revoke our system of Self-Government and install their own vicious madman dictator, a pedophile gangster suffering from mental and moral Alzheimer’s.
All with Liz’s blessing.
She lost by a two-to-one margin. That is fitting; Joe Biden lost by the same. But before galloping off to her Hacienda-on-the-Potomac, Cheney compared herself to Lincoln, who famously said
Gee, that sounds kinda’ Insurrection-y, lady.
None of this would have happened if they’d only let Trump drive the limo.
In 2019, every Democrat in DC including Kamala Harris were complaining loudly about how Voting Machines could be hacked. This is back when they were all complaining about Ukrainian Nazis, who are now their allies.
Then in 2020, they all looked around at each other and said “Hey–these voting can be hacked…”
Now, in 2022, DHS and CISA say the machines are wide open to Massive Fraud–but everybody’s just too gosh-darn nice to do anything like that, so no problem!
Election Officials have farmed out our sovereignty as citizens to crooked CheatWare Corporations so they can hide the Cheat behind claims of Muh Sacred “Proprietary Information”.
BUT ELECTIONS ARE THE PROPRIETARY POSESSION THE PEOPLE, NOT OF CROOKED SCUMBAG POLITICIANS AND THEIR PROFESSIONAL VOTE THIEVES.
Which brings us to Soros.
A Lifetime of Manipulation: Nazi collaborator in Hungary in 1942, Nazi collaborator in Ukraine in 2022, currency manipulator, Coup-plotter, Islamist supporter, riot-funder, Crime-enabler–and Election Thief.
He’s funding a Crime Wave through his pet D.A.s and prosecutors. He cracked the code; much better to buy the prosecutor than a hundred lawmakers.
Talking heads will discuss this. But they will not discuss his other cracked code; better to buy one top election official than convince millions of voters. As in Colorado, among others.
We can’t have Honor System Elections with the Honorless any longer. Nor can we have numberless Phantom Registrations of Ghost Voters.
Look around at the carnage from rigged Potemkin Storefront Elections. We’re either going to have Honest Elections or no elections at all.
I vote for Honesty.
Do you?

I love that photo of President Trump. 🙂 There are so many great photos of him but that one might be my favorite. You would never see anyone else, GOP or Dem, doing that.

Wow, sad, and very scary
They all look (especially Schumer) like they’re applauding a toddler’s toilet training victory.

Schumer is bending over SLO-Joe so closely, like he’s making sure the resident doesn’t pick up that ‘toddler training’ material and fling it at everyone standing around to watch it come out . . .
If I had better image-altering tools I could make a much better picture! I’m using Paint. 🙂
That is TERRIFYING. He looks completely out of it! I am not saying this with spite, I think he’s not going to make it to the end of his term.
I wonder how many times he has fallen in private and we don’t know about it, because he’s had plenty of falls that we do know about. I am personally aware via a loved one how a series of falls can do someone in, or they can be a symptom of another serious issue.
There was discussion of Steve Kirsch and his extraordinary claims about the ill effects of the mRNA vaccines, on this site the other day.
In looking up an article by Naomi Wolfe I was referred to, which discusses the plausibility of Steve’s contentions, I found the article from Steve himself:
Dr. Naomi Wolf easily verified my truth bombs on Fox; why can’t Fox?
Dr. Naomi Wolf used INDEPENDENT methods to verify everything I said on Fox. Brian Kilmeade said Fox “can’t verify” what I said. Did he meant “can’t” or “won’t”?
Executive summary
Dr. Naomi Wolf was easily able to verify what I said on Fox News in just a few days.
Fox was not interested in verifying it. They said they “can’t.” They aren’t kidding. It’s probably due to their advertising contracts with the drug companies. It’s a conflict of interest they’ve never disclosed to their viewers.
Media Matters wrote an article calling me a liar, cited no evidence, and they refuse to engage in a discussion so the public can decide who is right. They permanently banned me from commenting as well.

FBI Sought Documents Trump Hoarded for Years, Including about Russiagate
17 Aug 2022
https://www.newsweek.com/fbi-sought-documents-trump-hoarded-years-including-about-russiagate-1734280
The FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago last Monday was specifically intended to recover Donald Trump’s personal “stash” of hidden documents, two high-level U.S. intelligence officials tell Newsweek.
To justify the unprecedented raid on a former president’s residence and protect the source who revealed the existence of Trump’s private hoard, agents went into Trump’s residence on the pretext that they were seeking all government documents, says one official who has been involved in the investigation. But the true target was this private stash, which Justice Department officials feared Donald Trump might weaponize.
“They collected everything that rightfully belonged to the U.S. government but the true target was these documents that Trump had been collecting since early in his administration,” says the source, who was granted anonymity to discuss sensitive issues.
“Trump was particularly interested in matters related to the Russia hoax and the wrong-doings of the deep state,” one former Trump official tells Newsweek. “I think he felt, and I agree, that these are facts that the American people need to know.” The official says Trump may have been planning to use them as part of a 2024 run for the presidency.
The high-level U.S. government officials explain that it was not necessarily the classification level of the documents nor even their subject matter that investigators were focused on.

White House Climate Science Overseer Sanctioned And Barred By The National Academy Of Sciences

A senior White House climate advisor has been sanctioned by the National Academy of Sciences for violating its ethics policies.
Jane Lubchenco, the deputy director for climate and environment at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, has been pulled up by the NAS for editing a paper later found to contain technical errors, as well as having worked with the scientists involved in it, one of which turned out to be her brother-in law.
Yet there are FauXi and Birx, completely unscathed.

Couldn’t believe what I was hearing yesterday when after one of the CBS afternoon programs, a news blurb highlighting what was coming for the NewsBreak as they played the disgusting signing of the Act – the reporter actually said, “And we’ll show you how the Inflation Reduction Act will help you lower your taxes!”
I rewound and listened to it several times. The gaslighting is enraging!!!
What Democrat extreme hyperbole looks like “studied by historians for generations to come”! Oh please!!! Only Democrats can claim a total loss is a complete victory!!! Liz Cheney is the newest great Ozimandias!!!
